We were at a very small local farmer/craft market.

And so I bought the Klendagon glass coasters.

And now I own the unofficial Mass Effect Glass coasters of the planet Klendagon, which has a massive scar across it from an attack by a reaper millions of years before the events of the game.

Rotating the "Viktor needed things Jayce couldn't provide at the moment" thing in my head. Something about loving someone so much that even if you know they aren't the kind of person you need at all, you still want to stay, you don't want to go anywhere else with anyone else, because you want them to be what you need. Double edged sword by putting expectations on another person that they cannot fulfill, doing them and you dirty at the same time because it'll inevitably end up in disappointment and hurt for both sides.

have we ever considered that nightowl and onionthief have the makings of two Bitter Exes

doing nightowl's route and seeing the way onion acted towards both us and him felt so...telling. like it's not even them being in a full romantic relationship, any kind would've sufficed, but everyone can see an unmistakeable tension

let me paint you a picture: two grad students who like the same web novel. so different, yet one always balances out the other

emotion and logic, the sun and the moon—two people who are at incredible parallels to each other that they fail to realize that they're just the sides of the same coin

onion cares in his own way, calculated and cold yet with warmth all the same. and nightowl sees that. he argues, but he sees that. until the words are too harsh, too critical, too much like his mother and her endless ways to tell him he's not enough

on the other end, nightowl is the life of the party, seriousness can be so easily pushed back in his light. and onion basks in it. he gets burnt, but he basks in it. until the sleepless nights happen and the alcohol hits, too chaotic, too vulnerable, just too much

and they break apart. who cares about what they could've been if they had only learned that they shared the same affinity for numbers? what does it matter that they both know what it's like to fear the impending doom of expectations? they're just onion and owl. too different. too much for the other to love

then here comes mc with their patience, intelligence, humor, and kindness. and just like that, old wounds open as onionthief and nightowl see exactly what they wanted and needed from the other that they never got

but mc chooses nightowl. in all his failure and broken glory, and in turn, he chooses to be better for the both of them

while onion is left to think about all the what-if's. what if he were kinder? what if he were less arrogant and cared more about him instead of being right?

left to wonder why now, why not then when it mattered just as much, not when it was him who was on nightowl's side

why he just wasn't good enough.

Something I've been thinking a lot about lately is how everyone thought Egon had gone insane. What Happened that made them think that. They've fought a gigantic Stay Puft Marshmellow Man TWICE (counting the 2009 video game because iirc it's canon? Correct me if I'm wrong), fought an interdimensional god, fought a blood thirsty ruler that killed thousands and was hated by all that was trapped in a painting (and managed to get in to beat him by making THE STATUE OF LIBERTY start walking down the street with slime that reacted purely based on vibes), found an underground abandoned transit system full of the moodslime, had a bathtub try to eat Dana and her baby, fought a giant murderous black widow lady, fought the fisherman ghost who turned an entire hotel floor into the bottom of a ocean, and that's not even mentioning them getting trapped on an island that randomly raised up from underwater that had been abandoned for decades created by Ivor Shandor who worshipped Gozer. So what did he do or say that made everyone else think he'd gone insane?? All I can think is maybe he was acting strange / eratic before, but he's always been like that to some degree.

I don't know. It's something that I've been thinking about. The correct answer is 'it's not that deep and they needed a reason that the others weren't together anymore and weren't aware of Egons death or know what was going on,' but also. What Was He Saying that prompted everyone, including Ray, to think he lost his mind when he'd been right almost every time before that.

I'm genuinely so curious as to what he was up to before this. What was he doing. What insane idea was working on prior to this or was he even working on anything at all??

Also want to clarify this post isn't negative 😭 I really love the newer movies and their lore / the newer storyline / characters, I just like thinking about small stupid things like this. Gives me something to think about / speculate about / figure out an answer to.

I’m not sure if this was already gone over, but how old do you think everyone is?

I did a few months ago, but since then, screenshots have made me rethink the ages.

Oldest to youngest:

O'Connor. Originally, it was believed he was late 40s to mid 50s, but it's clear he's older than Rennick but not old enough for retirement age at the time, which was 68. So, I'm gonna say about 65, but I also think O'Connor just hasn't aged well due to health problems he's been hiding for years.

Rennick: 60. Man wishes he was 68.

Roper: 58.

Finlay: 55.

Trots and Innes: 50.

Roy and Addair: 47.

Gibbo, Brodie, and Bernard Cunningham: 44.

Caz, Suze, and Billy Chamberlin: 42.

Muir and Sunil: 35.

Archie and Dobbie: 30.
