Do you have any HCs with Ivy and Ink Blade?
OH BOY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE. ivy is a very interesting character to me (fhjy spoilers: and im glad she survived). tho people might not really like her that much, i think shes neat and could have a lot of nuances if her character could be explored enough
ivy (pre and post shatter-star) is a regina george mean girl but with pop-punk rock aesthetics.
she’s a girls girl and much like her canon, she loves fashion.
loves fashion in a sense that she loves it for Herself and not because she wants to impress anyone.
she does not give a shit about what anyone thinks of her actually, and that generally comes off as “mean”.
ivy only sees her attitude as a filter for those too weak to be acquainted with her.
though she has a hard exterior, she does have a soft spot for those who could actually stick by her.
riding off on that “loves fashion” part, i think ivy is particularly good at finding good deals and the best bargains. she doesn’t go for the most expensive stuff because that’s just wasteful.
she’s the type of friend you want to go to the flea market with because this girl drives a hard bargain.
riding off of that, ivy always takes oisin out to shop because there’s not a lot of dragonborn-proof clothes for him so when they do find stuff, its too expensive to be worth it unless ivy is the one bargaining for him.
oisin is always grateful of her for it.
in her shatter-star state, ivy’s “mean” attitude got nastier and more cruel
ivy has a hard time asking for forgiveness (oisin will tell you that she almost never says the word “i’m sorry” genuinely), but she does it in her own way.
sometimes when she passes by mazey in the halls, ivy genuinely compliments the bard on her badidas.
“nice shoes. they’re the 90’ exclusive line, right? those were the best quality shoes they released. such a shame their next series went downhill from there.”
mazey, apprehensive of ivy at first but open to having this conversation with her, “no, yeah, you’re absolutely right. these are the only pairs i can both dance and fight in. its been a year but theyre still going strong.”
and the girls continue talking about finding the best deals and the most practical clothing they could have as adventurers. fabian is not very happy about this.
mazey of course is not required to forgive ivy for things she said and done, and ivy is not at all actively seeking for verbal forgiveness anyway
but they can be courteous to each other and bond over similar interests
lucy, being a frost genasi, absolutely knows how to knit. she knits her own clothes sometimes because not much clothing items in stores have her size.
when ivy found out about this during freshman year, ivy asked lucy to teach her and they absolutely bonded over knitting.
at some point both the girls have knitted some stuff for all the members of their party.
everyone still keeps their knitted gifts, even if they’re frayed or have grown too small for them to use.
surely i will have more to write on her character but for now these are what i have on the top of my head. ivy embra they dont get you like i do (ivy hcs with inkblade i will continue in another post because this one got too long)

half-baked idea for a f1 flavored 5e d&d au:
seb is the dm/gm and loves to home brew, has notoriously tpk'd everyone before, everyone lives in appropriate levels of fear for current campaign.
charles - half-elf bard, college of lore - pretty and a pain in the ass but good support. forgets his character sheet so often that seb has back up copies in a folder titled, 'dumbass (affectionate)' max - dragonborn paladin, oath of conquest - great damage, durability, control, and support. he's very serious during sessions but makes everyone laugh after and always brings snacks. danny - when seb convinced him to play he didn't take it serious and told seb to make his character, so he was a dwarf ranger, swarmkeeper. after that character died in the great tpk, danny was more serious on the reroll. for their current campaign he is a wood elf ranger gloom stalker archer to level 6, before multiclassing to rogue. oscar - human fighter battle master - favorite maneuver is pushing attack bc it can be low key hilarious. he also loves action surge and just wanted to fight at first but actually gets really into the roleplay. ends up with a party leader build and babysitting a bunch of toddlers with weapons and spells. george - halfling druid, circle of the moon. - has 14k into his character's written back story. he has made everyone in the party listen to him read excerpts. (seb plans to ban this subclass in all future games). yuki - high elf wizard bladesinger - superior to every other class when it comes to spellcasting, but refuses to heal or support lol. this build gives seb a headache constantly. alex - dwarf twilight cleric - full caster w/ medium armor & shield. legit saves the party every session.

Fixing Skyrim's Main Quest
Part One, Setting
Obviously it's set in Skyrim, but let's tweak it a bit.
Time
First of all, if there's one thing we can all agree on from Skyrim and Fallout 4 it's that Bethesda doesn't know how long 200 years is.
It's a very long time.
For reference, two hundred years back from the time of writing this Mad King George was king of England, it wasn't even the Victorian Era yet. The American Civil War was decades away from starting. The entire industrial AND technological revolutions as well as BOTH World Wars and the collapse of the British AND Ottoman Empires happened in that time, with plenty of room to spare.
It's a VERY long time!
Placing a two hundred year gap between Oblivion and Skyrim was a bad decision considering how very little actually happened. Tamriel should be drastically different, like they should have cars by now.
The major events that did happen, the Rise of the Medes, the Rise of the Thalmor, The Red Year, The Infernal City, The Void Nights, The Great War and White Gold Concordat could easily happen within one lifetime, so we're going to say the events of Skyrim take place in 4E64.
From a writing point of view, this small change makes it a lot easier to keep track of things that were a bit of a mess in vanilla, like the life of Ulfric, or the backstory of Gaius, Karliah and Mercer, which were all over the place if you were actually paying attention. It also means you can talk to people who actually remember these things happening, who were children during the Oblivion Crisis. You could even change Esbern's name to one of the younger Blades members you meet in Oblivion seeing as Esbern has the role of lore depository.
Religion and Culture
The next setting change is to remember this is Skyrim, not Cyrodiil. The Nords don't worship the Nine/Eight. In fact, the only reason the Nine/Eight exists as a pantheon at all because of the Nords stubbornness around the worship of foreign gods.
The Temple of Kynareth is now The Temple of Kyn, and Gildergleam Sanctuary is the home of Kyn's Holy Order. The College of Winterhold is no longer Hogwarts but the Chantry of Jhunal (a 'college' is a place of study, research and academia, not just a school). You might meet The Vigilant of Stuhn on the road, who don't live in a hut but a temple. Instead of a priest of Arkay in the Halls of the Dead we have priests of Orkey. Tsun, a god we actually meet in vanilla but has no shrines or altars, will replace Zenithar. And, most interesting to our story, a cult of both Alduin and Herma Mora - our two villains - gods to be placated rather than worshipped.
This said, the Imperial Cult will definitely have a strong presence in Skyrim and Talos, being an Ysmir, is particularly venerated (as is Ysgramor and Wulfharth). Yes, over the centuries the Imperial Cult and will obviously have spread into Skyrim, we can lean into this with the Civil War, putting a much bigger emphasis on the more "Imperialised" Holds siding with the Empire and the old school Atmoran Holds siding with the Stormcloaks. It never made much sense to me that the "true Nords" were more upset than the Imperials over the whole Talos situation, this change makes it so that while both sides are pissed off, one reacts with frustrating diplomacy and patience while the over reacts with stubborn honour and impulse, a more cultural divide rather than a pro/anti Talos one.
The Imperial position would be to play along with the Thalmor in the open, but to secretly fund and organise cults to other men-turned-gods and Imperial/Nordic hero gods such as Pelinal, Wulfharth, Ysgramor, Reman, Alessia and Martin, as well as the concept of Ysmir (which would actually include Tiber Septim and The Last Dragonborn). They would not openly support nor allow any arrests or persecutions of these cults by Justiciars. The Stormcloak position will remain "Fuck that bitch this is Skyrim."
Geography
This might sound crazy, but Skyrim was too hot.
No I'm kidding, I'm not so in love with the lore that I think a game of endless snow would be anything but boring. But there are some things that were cut out of the land that left Skyrim wanting. For instance there are hardly any settlements. Amber Guard, Granitehall, Nimalten City, Reich Corigate, Lainalten, Oakwood, Pargran Village, Laintar Dale, Dunpar Wall, Dragon Wood, and North Keep are all Skyrim cities that are missing from the game. Like not even abandoned ruins, they're just not there.
I totally understand there are size limitations but this is meant to be a country. It has five town sized cities and three village sized cities. And some villages. And they mostly look like Riverwood. Seriously, what exactly is the difference between Karthwasten, Falkreath, Shor's Stone, Winterhold and Riverwood, all towns from different Holds? It's like if shopping malls were made of wood.
The other thing about the vanilla settlements I didn't like was Bethesda seems to be stuck in Fallout style post apocalyptic design. Solitude has been there for thousands of years but no one has ever thought to shift these boulders from out of the middle of the street? There are ruins in better shape than Windhelm and Markarth? You can sum it up with Whiterun's Western Watchtower, which looks exactly the same after a dragon destroys it. Surely the ravages of civil war and the dragon crisis would have a bigger impact if things weren't already destroyed.
In fact, let's address the Imperial Fort situation. At the start of the game only 3 forts were occupied by actual soldiers, two of which were destroyed in the early game (Helgan and the Western Watchtower). Literally ALL other forts are in ruins and occupied by bandits or other undesirables. Consider that Skyrim is a country that recently took part in the Great War, but is currently dealing with a Civil War. Forts are not easy to build, and are insanely useful for medieval warfare. It truly beggars belief that practically none of them are maintained and fortified until the Player Character decides to get involved. To strain credulity further, many of the war camps you encounter in the wilds are literally in the shadows of major fortifications that have been left to rot. There is even a side quest to reclaim a Nord's fort from bandits, which is also a ruin. Is the implication that the man lives in a ruin? Or is it that in the short time the bandits have been there they've done a century or two of damage? Why would they do that?
Skyrim has a lot of dungeons, and a lot of quests that are basically "clear dungeon", we can't sacrifice some of this boring content for some more towns or forts, with characters, and things to do?

nother hc dump //
He has the illithid 'transfer health' ability that allows him to forcibly shove half of his current hp onto someone else. He got this ability because as the designated highest strength character, he ended up carrying a lot of gear, including jars of tadpoles. Since his party was stingy on long resting at the time and he has a healthy appetite, he ended up getting hungry and eating the group's stash of tadpoles thinking them a standard elven dish of escargot.
While others stumble upon treasure often, he is the one in the party that usually comes across gems and other sparkling stones in the environment. He usually picks these up and takes them along because he finds them pretty. They also look tasty in some...weird way. Like candy. This urge comes from the fact that orcs of the past would prepare for war by consuming rocks for some reason or another.
Not all orcs/half-orcs will feel the call of Gruumsh in their life times, but it's guaranteed they will if they either 1. spill elf blood, or 2. take out one of their own eyes. Because he was quite literally coated in elf blood during the build up scene to his stay in the nautiloid, this caused the floodgates in him that would allow Gruumsh's influence to start taking effect to open and provide him the means to perform his very first rage.
When the Cragdews first bought him, he was around 3 years old. Ren was around 120 at the time, and so the son who was supposed to be protected by the half-orc body guard often babysat the half-orc on occasion while he grew into adulthood at 14.
His vicious mockery is arguably a lot better than any other of his bard abilities given how he grew up among elves and their Regina George spirit animal-
He is not all that attracted to elves given how he had to grow up alongside them so it kinda gives off the 'we're all siblings/cousins' vibe now, and they were not all that welcoming or supportive of him being around them either. Instead, he took up looking at pin ups and found himself weirdly attracted to the dragonborn ones. (Thanks for sponsoring him, bad dragon.)

Ok so know a dnf related question: what is your favorite soup ?
And a dnd related question since my phone always corrects dnf to DND :
What class and race you think George, Dream and Sapnap would play ?
Ps. if you end up watching critical role please let me know what you think, and if you like it
~💚💙
I like most soups, but i think I'm between vegetable soup or chicken soup
About dteam DND (I'm going for what I think they'd choose to play as as well as what I think fits their personalities. Not what I'd make them as in a dnd au scenerio)
Sapnap: he would be a dps character like a fighter, Barbarian or monk I think. He'd probably be a murderhobo (at least in the beginning). I can see him choosing paladin as well because "it's cool" but struggling to interpret a lawful good character. As for race I want to say tiefling just because of the fire resistance and to scape the human/elf/orc cliche or maybe dragonborn bc it's cool. For his alignment I'd say chaotic neutral.
Dream: i can see him being a supporter role. Like a healer of some sort. Maybe a bard(bc he makes music, yes) or a cleric. I can also see him as a tank so maybe paladin if Sapnap isn't that already. As for race I can see him choosing human to be well rounded in everything or dragonborn (yes bc enderdragon). Dream would be a good little lawful good boy!
George: a druid elf. He likes animals and he's pretty. /hj. Ok, jokes aside he could be a kinda supporter character (but not really) that uses mainly magic or long range weapons like bow and arrow, but he's also unpredictable and can cause some serious damage. But i feel like he'd also thrive with a carisma based character. So I can also see him as a rogue or wizard. He'd be chaotic good or chaotic neutral.
Ps: I searched it and had it open on a tab on my browser but haven't started watching it yet

hey, in honor of the rwby dc cross over. why not have your own? WW pyrrha nikos is on the hunt for a new and dangerous vigilantie, the huntsman! so far he hasn't really done anything but batwoman (blake) is freaking out about him and superwoman (yang) is busy with her sister so it's up to her! meanwhile jaune learns that even if he was just trying to entertain his little sisters dressing up in even a bargain basement costume for more than five minutes in batwoman's city will result in you being labeled some sort of supercriminal/hero/vigilante
Hate WW and the supers.
Ruby: Night Rose. "Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight." Yang: That's already taken. Ruby: What about throwing roses? Yang: Sighs. Man, sis, you got to catch up on your basics. Miraculous Ladybug. Maybe. I've never actually watched the series.
Weiss: Aurora Corps. Descendants of the Hyperboreans. Their construct power comes from Stoic Determination. The power to outlast the long night and thrive in the winter darkness. GL.
Blake: Black Cat. Morally ambiguous cat-thief striving for Faunus rights. Catwoman + Cassandra Cain.
Yang: Dragonborn. Blake: Now who's taking something? Yang: Yellow Dragon. Blake: Vainglorious. Yang: Bimbofied Justice. Weiss: *scoff* Jaune: Georgia. Yang: Huh? Weiss: From St. George. Yang: ... Weiss: The Dragon Slayer. Yang: Giggity. Jaune: Huh?. The closest equivalent would be Starfire, but with elements of the Huang Lang.
Jaune: The Beacon. The most obvious answer would by The Signal, but it will be a cold day in hell before I recognize him. Screw this, John Carter, except with time travel instead of space. He can channel light energy into his sword, shield, and armour, and gauntlets. The Beacon.
Pyrrha: Magna Polaris. She can control magnetism. The Powers are from Magneto, but she uses them in a much more subtle way. She doesn't have anything to fight for, but The Beacon does.
Nora: Gigawatt, (pronounced with a J). She uses electricity to give her hammer an ion drive to smash things. She has no idea how she does it. Static Shock.
Ren: Hard to think of a martial arts super hero that is appropriate, without being offensive or racist. Manticore. He tried to to use Mantra-themed names, but they always failed. He would always explain, but it would just lose it's impact. He has the power of Tai Chi. Po + Oogway.
