Bad day at work
Summary: It’s a bad day at the office.
Pairing: Jake Jensen x fem!Reader
Warnings: short reader, enemies to…, language
You groan and slam your hand onto the table. This fucking meeting could’ve been an email. No one had anything to say, and now you are left with more workload and less information than before.
On top of all, the new software your boss forces you to use is messing with your files. You can’t find shit any longer and are already on the edge. One false word, and you will murder the next person daring to distract you.
“Fuck you!” You grunt and throw your wireless mouse at the wall. Great, now your mouse is broken too. “This is the wrong day to mess with me, you fucker!”
Staring at the broken mouse, you sigh. There is no way around it. You'll need to call IT to ask for help. It’s just that you hate asking for help. Most of the time, they ask you to switch it off and on again. As if that ever solved your IT problems.
“Fuck…shit…dog poop!” You curse loudly. “I guess there’s no way out this time. With a broken mouse and the software messing with my files.”
You take a deep breath before you grab your phone to call the IT. It rings a few times before a grumpy voice answers your call. While you describe your problem, the guy chews audibly. You roll your eyes. None of the IT guys seems to take their job seriously.
“Did you try to switch your computer off, and on again?” You huff into the phone. Why do they always ask you shit like that? “Miss, did you hear me.”
“The software is not working. It’s messing with my computer. Switching my computer off will do shit,” you snarl at the IT guy. If he eats while you ask him to solve your computer problems, you can be unfriendly.
“Miss, you don’t have to be rude,” the IT dude dares to hang up the phone. You’re fuming. If he’s not going to haul his ass up to your office to fix your problem, you’ll bring your laptop to him and slap the cockiness out of him with it.
You get up from your chair and slam your laptop shut. Huffing, you look at your broken mouse. Well, they can fix this for you, too.
“IT DUDE!” You yell at the guy with spiky hair and glasses. “Was that you on the phone?”
He dips his head to watch you storm toward him. “Hello, there,” he grins as you throw the broken mouse at him. “What can I do for you? Name’s Jensen.”
“I don’t care if you are Winona Applebee,” you growl. “If I call you for help, you haul your ass up to my office and do your job!”
Jensen cocks a brow. “Miss, please lower your voice. I know IT problems can be stressful, but I won’t allow you to talk like that to me or my team.”
“What are you going to do about it?” You throw your laptop in his lap and put your hands on your hips. “I’ll get you fired if you don’t get to work.”
Laughing in your face, Jensen rises from his seat. You didn’t know he was so much taller than you. Suddenly aware that he’s dwarfing you, you take a step back.
“I’ll show you what happens when you mess with the IT crowd…”

a little light this week bc i had a fairly wretched week, medically speaking
listening
hozier's nobody's soldier would have been on every 8tracks mix for every character. THEEEEE blorbo song of all time to the point i am already annoyed at the thought of seeing it on every spotify mix. fuckin owns tho. very fun mod sixties heist taste to the horn arrangement

reading
thank you philip.

polished off the Marauders (2019-2022) comics. i liked the first volume way more than these three-- they didn't quite deliver the same quality of art or swashbuckles-per-minute. also this was probably not a great choice for someone who has forgotten what little she once knew about the xmen, even though they came at the beginning of a reboot.
why did i read these? mostly bc they were readily available or with short wait times at my library and my bestie is making me watch all the xmen movies. a girl gets curious about comic books sometimes
surprisingly, i came across this one from the Pocket integration on the firefox new tabs
McDonald likens the functions of Spotify to Google Maps. “Google Maps doesn’t do the exploration for me, but it’s helpful if I go somewhere,” he says. Rather than taking us on guided tours, it provides the tools for us to navigate somewhere new. Much as it shows us what’s nearby and how to get there, and flags notable landmarks others have visited, Spotify helps us access most music, lists global listening trends, and introduces us to artists similar to those we already know. But it’s communities that help us home in on a destination Spotify can help us explore.
part two of breaking down infamous academic paper mill Hindawi and why it was bought by Wiley anyway bc they did seemingly no due diligence, bc as a whole they do very little actual work in the publishing process.
i have included a very long quote bc it is one of only two things that made me genuinely laugh out loud this week (the other was phil unsticking a claw from the couch by backflipping herself out)
One issue of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing from 2022, edited mostly by Hamurabi Gamboa Rosales, took an average of about 20 days to go from initial submission to revision submission. This is not unlikely, it’s impossible. The easiest way to explain this is with an analogy. Say there’s a pothole outside your house, and you call the council. You tell them ‘there’s a big hole in the road outside my house!’ The person at the other end, rather than tiredly telling you to fill out a form - which is what councils do all over the world, in my experience - instead yells ‘MOTHER OF GOD! WE’RE RIGHT ON IT!’ Twenty minutes later, a bitumen truck comes HURTLING around the corner of your street at full send, with the road workers hanging out the back of it, the driver leaning on the horn and yelling ‘GET OUT OF THE WAY! POTHOLE!’ They pull up outside your house, and you see the brakes go hot. But the guys don’t even wait for it to stop, they jump off while it’s slowing down, and they grab pry bars and a burner and a kettle of bitumen, and they start hammering out the edges, pour the bitumen and start slamming it with hammers almost at the same time. In about six minutes, the hole is filled and flattened, and they admire their work for about four hundred milliseconds and SCREAM off the way they came. No sooner has the truck disappeared, then your phone rings - and it’s the council worker from before. ‘POTHOLE! *pant* *pant* FIXED! Happy to be of service!’ *click* That’s how likely the entire editorial process taking 20 days is.

i don't understand why the third xmen movie isn't named x cubed. it extremely is not their last stand there are like a dozen more movies to go. gun to my head i could not tell you what happened in this one. whatsherface did look good as hell though
and now for the movie i actually want to talk about, Monkey Man (2024, dir. Patel). imdb says:
An anonymous young man unleashes a campaign of vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systematically victimize the poor and powerless.
i am so so so lucky that my favorite kind of fight scene — fast, brutal, right spaces with improvised weapons-- is fashionable. pour it DIRECTLY into my open mouth
i think i generally agree with a broad sweep of reviewers here when i tell you that this movie is gorgeous and grossnasty at the same time, there are a lot of ideas that aren't all quite resolved, and i am much more interested in why it has a hell of a lot of ideas (part of why they don't all get resolved).
patel's first movie, it feels very much like a movie of someone who isn't sure they'll be able to do another one, so throw everything you've got in here. a sort of famously rocky production and shoestring budget, but you would not know it. the club scenes are especially dripping in glitz and, like many stage productions, have a lot of clever editing and strategic deployment of mirrors and repeats. there's a fight scene with hanging mirrors near the end where the mirrors can't have been more than fifty bucks each but it looks SO fucking sick.
i am much more willing to go to bat for this movie and ignore some of the rough edges bc it is so refreshingly earnest, and despite the style references, is very focused on being its own thing. at some points it's going to feel like The Matrix (1999, dir. the Wachowskis) bc every movie made in a post- The Matrix (1999, dir. the Wachowskis) world is going to feel a little bit like The Matrix (1999, dir. the Wachowskis). or like when the above gif happened in the movie it did not make me want to turn it off and go watch the first john wick.
people who live in india or are part of the diaspora are a little cranky about the political parties of the film, which had to be neutered for release. while i don't think i would have grasped all the nuances even if we did have the original cut, i think it's likely some of the characters would have resolved a little cleaner if that original intent was still there.
why did i watch this? i think patel is easily as hot as tumblr darling mifune. while drafting this post i got distracted sooooooo many times trying to pick the perfect gif. some of them are too hot!!!

Decadent: A Miguel O'Hara Story
next-> || Fic Masterlist || My Masterlist
De-ca-dent* (de-kə-dənt) 1. characterized by or appealing to self-indulgence a rich and decadent dessert 2. marked by decay or decline an increasingly decadent society
Summary: You are new to the city, starting a job at a the research facility of your dreams. Speaking of dreams, your dreamy boss, Miguel O'Hara leaves an impression on you you'll not soon forget. But this brilliant scientist hides a dark secret - will his darkness drag you under? Or is love strong enough to overcome anything?
Pairings: Miguel O'Hara from the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse x female reader
Word Count: We're just kicking things off so -1k
Warnings/notables: AU story. 18+, please note the warnings for each part/section of this story. Some things are canon accurate and some are not. The secret Miguel hides requires him to do dark deeds to sustain his own life. Therefore there are non-con "vampiric" elements, but all sexual activities are consensual. Also cursing. Blood. References to sex but no sex in this chapter. References to killing. Let me know if I missed something. not beta'd we die like everyon'es uncle ben...
"Hi, Aunt Jess, I'm settled in my apartment. Movers just left," you spoke aloud, using your wireless headphones to make a call. Your Aunt had insisted you let her know you were all moved in, but failed to answer.
"It's small, like I told you, but I really wanted to start out on my own. Only child thing," you laughed. "Uhmm...I know you wanted me to have a roommate, to be safe, but...I promise I'll think about it more. Once I get to know some people here in the city."
Flopping down on your favorite green chair, you let out an exhausted sigh. "Anyway, you can text me back if you want. I'm taking a shower - if I can find my towels - and going to sleep. Early start tomorrow. Love you, bye."
Removing your headphones, you placed them carefully back in their charging case and turned on some relaxing music. It took you a few minutes, but you did find the box labeled 'towels' so you could freshen up. You had packed a bag with all your essentials - including some cozy pajamas for your first night in the city, and a smart suit for your first day as a research assistant tomorrow.
You were starting a new life in a new city. Orphaned when you were twelve-years-old, you were raised throughout your teenage years by your dad's much younger sister, Jessina. You were much closer in age - so much so that you occasionally fought like sisters, but she made good on her promise to take care of you, supporting you all the way through your master's degree.
Now you were in the city to finish up your doctorate, while working as an assistant to one of the most brilliant geneticists in the world - Miguel O'Hara.
You had only met him over a video call - he was inexplicably unavailable on your only in-person interview. He had a reputation for being tough, no-nonsense, devastatingly brilliant and dangerously handsome. You didn't know him yet, but the handsome part, you could attest to. Seeing him on your computer screen made your body temperature rise and your heart rate double.
Who knew what would happen in person?
But you were a professional, and Miguel's assistant was the perfect entry job for you. So you would have to ignore his gorgeous, thick waves and razor sharp jaw line. You were here to work.
Miguel sat perched on the edge of an abandoned building, head in his hands, fingers digging into his temples.
Everything hurt.
Conveniently, he didn't have to concentrate to keep his talons from piercing his own skin. So thankfully, talons were not the source of his pain. Still...it hurt.
With a huff, he jerked his hands away, banging a fist on the roof's edge...
...which promptly caused the aged brick to crumble beneath his super strength.
"Shit," he mumbled, pushing himself up. Sighing loudly, he decided he better call it a night. Even with above-average stamina, he still wanted to be ready to meet his new assistant tomorrow at the lab.
It was just so hard to concentrate when he felt so weak.
"I can't," he uttered, annoyed with himself for thinking of blood when he needed to be thinking about tomorrow - about you.
But it had been so long. Too long since he fed - since he felt the rush of his fangs sinking into a warm, fleshy neck. Since he had sucked the life out of someone despicable. Or fed slowly as he'd fucked a lover. The blood wasn't only a life-sustainer, after all. It was an aphrodisiac. He had the Evarcha culicivora - the vampire spider to thank for his blood appetite.
But something had gone wrong when Miguel was unknowingly afflicted with spider DNA years ago. The vampire spider's appetite for blood - specifically blood-filled females - plagued him. He could and did still eat regular food, but he found himself signficiantly weakened if he didn't feed on occasion.
He couldn't deny how incredible it felt - the warmth on his tongue - the pliant body in his arms. He told himself he kept to the moral high ground, killing on the most deplorable criminals. And even though his fangs emitted a non-toxic venom, which could paralyze, he told himself that each and every pleasurable feeding was consensual.
He was half right. The sex was definitely consensual because Miguel was a brilliant, beautiful and seductive man. The feedings, though? Not always. How could he exactly explain to someone that he was a creature who needed to feed on blood to live?
'Hi, I'm Miguel. I'm really smart and I will make you see God in bed, but, by the way, I want to drink you. But I'm not a vampire, I swear!'
Ludicrous.
Squeezing his eyes shut, he shook those thoughts from his head. It was next-level annoying to have super powers at his disposal but still feel like shit half the time.
Blood was the key.
But in sustaining his body, he felt he was losing his soul.
Coming up: you meet Miguel. What will your new boss be like? Will he have fed before he sees you? next->

I am by no means an expert on technology or how computers and the internet work, but I will try to explain.
Computers are electronic devices made to store, use, and process data. Computers can “talk” to other computers by using cables and/or wireless systems (frequencies sent between computers or to satellites, which act as bridges between computers).
The internet is a the culmination of computers all over the world (operated by people, generally) talking to each other in one gigantic, shared network. It allows anyone with a computer and a way to transfer signals to access any information broadcast by anyone else.
Though the internet is a wonderful thing with nearly limitless potential for spreading knowledge and general goodness, it is a double-edged sword. The internet allows malicious people to coordinate attacks and violate others’ privacy.
Search engines — like “Google” as mentioned by other askers — are programs that help organize any information put on the internet into a format where one can “search” a term or phrase to find relevant information on the internet.
For example, if you search “dog” into Google, it will browse the internet and show you relevant pictures, websites, and videos regarding dogs.
I hope this makes sense!
Thank you for taking the time to provide me with such a thorough explanation of this technology. It seems you are right in calling it a double-edged sword.
Power unchecked breeds chaos. I would imagine this the Internet, in providing a vast wealth of information, similarly gives one access to deception and manipulation. Still, knowledge is power. And those who understand the machine control its destiny.

jimbo the himbo @spaceace9393
just a friendly reminder: asexuality is a valid identity. it's not any kind of disorder, and it has nothing to do with disability, or trauma, or mental illness. we are not sick, or broken, or in need of "fixing.” we're just people who don't experience sexual attraction, that's it.
You stare at the tweet for a long, long time. Long enough that your phone screen dims before shutting off entirely, leaving you with only your reflection for company.
Your chest feels... you're not sure how to describe it, exactly. It might be a little bit like when you accidentally clogged the bathroom sink the other day — like there's something cold and murky sloshing around inside your lungs, bits of feelings you can't quite name sinking down to rest on something that's been building unseen for a while now.
Closing your eyes, you breathe in, slow and deep, and then release a shaky exhale. Your fingers start tap-tap-tapping away on your thigh as you realize that you kind of, maybe, really want to talk to someone right now.
You have your kakaotalk app open between one blink and the next.
you
cheollie? are u still at one of the hybe studios?
cheollie 🧡
yeah i'm still here not working on anything too important rn tho so you can swing by if you want i have extra ramyeon packs that soonyoung dropped off they're the spicy kind you like
You can't help but smile softly to yourself. Even though the anxiety of what you want to talk about makes your heart race, you don't think you'll ever stop being endeared by Choi Seungcheol.
you
cheollie ur the best ily ❤️ see u soon ~
cheollie 🧡
love you too ❤️
You quickly throw on your comfiest hoodie, threadbare and fraying at the seams, and you make your way over to the Hybe building. You also stop at a convenience store on the way, grabbing a canned coffee for each of you because you're a good partner like that.
By the time you get to the door of the studio, though, what little confidence you'd built up for yourself starts to fizzle out, replaced by the anxiety simmering on low just beneath your skin. The confusing feelings are still sloshing around inside your chest, so much so that you think about knocking even though you haven't knocked in months — not since Seungcheol started texting you the code of whatever studio he was working in at the time.
Groaning to yourself, you smack the edge of your phone against your forehead a few times before quickly punching in the code and opening the door before you can talk yourself out of it.
Seungcheol is slouched comically in the chair, head so low it's practically leaning against the armrest as his socked feet rest propped up on any empty corner of the desk. The computer's wireless keyboard is cradled against his chest and stomach, keys down, and he's using its smooth back as a makeshift mousepad. ...To play Solitaire of all things, you realize.
You stand there, just blinking for a moment as you process the image in front of you. He looks so stupid and cute and you can't help the grin that pushes against your cheeks.
"Cheol," you giggle. "What the fuck."
"Shhhhhhhh..." Seungcheol's eyes don't leave the monitor. "Don't question the process."
You snort as you finally close the door and walk over to set his canned coffee on the desk, on the opposite side his feet are propped up.
"What process?" You stand over him, folding your arms across your chest as you try to keep a straight face. Raising an eyebrow at his posture, you ask, "The one where you turn into a slouchy slug?"
"Hey!" Seungcheol swings the keyboard into your hip like he's trying to chop down a tree, making you double over even as you start giggling. "I am not a slug, how dare you!"
You just laugh louder and playfully shove his chair away from the desk. He yelps in surprise as his feet suddenly fall to the floor and he nearly topples over, and then he turns the full force of his pout upon you.
"I can't believe my very own partner is trying to kill me," he laments. "What did I do to deserve such betrayal? Did Jeonghan put you up to this?"
"Aww, poor aegi," you coo. You walk over to him and squish his cheeks between your palms so that his lips pucker out comically. "My poor little guppy wuppy."
His dark brows furrow harder and you let out an oof when he jabs you in the stomach with the wireless keyboard he'd managed to hang onto in the chaos, letting go of his face. It wasn't hard enough to hurt (never is) and you just stick your tongue out at him in retaliation.
He rolls his eyes and points to the couch. "Go have a seat, traitor."
You acquiesce with a soft snort, burying yourself in the corner while Seungcheol tidies up the studio. You pull one of the throw pillows into your lap and very quickly end up hugging it tightly to your chest.
For a few blissful moments, you'd forgotten about all of the confused, anxious things swimming around inside of you — forgotten the main reason you'd come here in the first place.
You must zone out, because the next thing you know, Seungcheol is squatting in front of you and trying to catch your eye, one hand gently squeezing your knee. "Hey, Y/n-ah. You doing okay over here? Want me to take you home?"
His eyes are wide and earnest, worry lightly furrowing his brow, and you will never cease to be grateful for how much he embodies unconditional care and comfort.
Shaking your head, you reach out to clasp the hand on your knee. "No, 'm fine." You tug on his hand, a silent request to come sit next to you. "Just wanna talk to you, if that's okay."
"Of course it's okay," he promises. "Always."
When he sits, he leaves a sliver of space between the two of you, leaving it up to you to decide how much (if any) physical comfort you want right now. That simple, little act of thoughtfulness is like the glimpse of a lighthouse amidst the storm that's brewing within your ribcage, and it gives you the courage you need to hoist your metaphorical sails and let the wind take you where you need to go.
You waste no time in anchoring yourself to Seungcheol's side, throwing your legs over his lap and burying your face into his collarbone.
"Hey, jagiya, hey, you're okay," he soothes automatically. His hands come up to wrap around you, pulling you close and rubbing soothing arcs up and down your back. "You're okay. I'm here to listen, yeah? I'm here."
He doesn't say anything else after that, just settles a bit more into the couch and waits for you to speak, always so full of patience when it counts.
It does take a while for you to say anything, mostly because you don't really know where to start. There's still so much swirling around inside you, murky and confusing, that you're not really sure if there is a start.
And a part of you wonders if it's even worth opening up your mouth at this point — the same part of you that's always walked hand-in-hand with your shame and doubt.
But Seungcheol's breathing is a steady rise and fall against your chaotic thoughts, his heartbeat a siren song reminding you that he has always held your hopes and dreams and fears and questions oh so carefully in the palms of his hands.
Eventually, you realize that it doesn't really matter where you start as long as you jump in. So jump you do. "Cheol?"
"Hmm?"
"Do— do you remember when I came out to you and the rest of the group as ace?"
" 'Course I do," he assures warmly, giving you a small squeeze. "Still so proud of you."
You hum happily. But your anxiety is making you feel fidgety again, so you pull one of Seungcheol's arms down into your lap so you can play with his long, sturdy fingers. He lets you do it without complaint, and something within you settles.
You let yourself breathe in, breathe out.
"After you guys," you start, bending and unbending his fingers one by one, "the first person I ever came out to was my mom, you know? And it's— it wasn't that she wasn't supportive. Or like, I think she was trying to be supportive, at least, but." You take a breath. "Do you wanna know what the first words out of her mouth were, after I told her that I was ace?"
Seungcheol hums an encouragement, pulling you impossibly closer with the one arm he still has wrapped around your back. You take another breath, uncurling all of his fingers and holding the spread-out digits in both hands, almost like you're going to try and read his palm.
You breathe in, breathe out. "She said— without any hesitation, she said, 'Oh, is it because of your trauma?'"
You feel the way Seungcheol tenses beneath you, watch the way his fingers twitch between yours like he's trying not to curl them into a fist.
"And I didn't know how to respond to that," you continue, keeping your eyes down, "so I just said 'I don't know, probably.'" You give the same little helpless shrug you'd given then, small and defeated, and you use the motion to hunch your shoulders a little more.
"Y/n-ah. That's..." Seungcheol starts, voice a little rough around the edges like he's trying to keep some big emotion from breaking through. "I can't imagine what that must've felt like."
And you know, you know, that he's filling in the blanks. That he's taking the words 'trauma' and 'asexuality' and drawing conclusions that probably aren't too far from the truth.
You grip his hand tightly between yours and tuck it against your chest like a child clings to a favorite stuffed animal; he presses a gentle kiss to the crown of your head. You both breathe — in, out.
"Yeah. It didn't— it didn't feel great," you admit, an understatement. "And she's not the only one, either. Every single family member I've come out to, every single one of them— that question has always been the first thing to come out of their mouth."
The faces of those family members flash before you, all carrying the same expression — pity, one etched so deep it felt (feels) almost condescending. "Is it because of your trauma?" "Is it because of what happened to you? Did he make you like this?"
"And I just..." You flail the hand not clutching Seungcheol's, searching for a way to put into words what you've been feeling for so, so long. "I have this knowledge living inside me at all times that, to the family members that I'm out to— they'll never see my asexuality as something to celebrate. All they will ever see is my trauma and how this part of myself is something that comes from a broken place."
You think about the tweet from earlier, the hundreds of others you've seen like it, and feel tears begin to gather.
Sniffling, you continue. "And then I'll go on the internet and see all kinds of ace pride and posts about how we're valid and don't need to be fixed and... and I know that. Logically, I know that my ace-ness isn't something that needs to be changed, isn't something that could change, even if I wanted it to, but..."
But.
For so, so long, you have had no idea how to finish that sentence. And it feels like some kind of defeat when you realize you still don't have an answer. "...I don't know," you shrug, helplessly.
Seungcheol presses another kiss to the top of your head, staying silent like he knows you still have more to say. He keeps a steady rhythm of slowly rubbing his free hand up and down your back, a tactile metronome for you to follow.
After a few minutes, you continue with a sigh. "About once a year, I'll talk with my aunt, and she never fails to ask if I'm "still ace" and... I just..." You cut yourself off with a frustrated groan.
"S'okay, aegi," Seungcheol whispers, squeezing the hand you're still holding close to your chest.
"Sometimes it feels like my ace-ness is tainted, you know?"
Even as the sentence feels punched out of you, it's such a bitter relief to finally admit it out loud. Because even though you've never really let yourself put it into words, you are finally able to recognize that this is one of the murky feelings that has been weighing you down — collecting in your subconscious like debris in the gutter. "And it's why bringing up my past can be so difficult for me. Because I'm so scared that people will go from just accepting my asexuality to thinking 'Ah, that explains it.' Like I just gave them the missing piece to a puzzle or something, when before it was just a part of who I am.
"And there's also a part of me that feels like... I don't know, that I'd just be adding fuel to the fire for all the people who like to shit on asexuality. That I'm just an example of why people who think they're ace are just traumatized and need therapy. But... I think I would have always been ace, no matter what happened or didn't happen to me as a kid. And I just...
"I don't know, Cheol," you croak, the tears you've been trying so hard to keep in finally starting to cascade down your cheeks. "I don't know how to feel anymore. I don't know where to fit. If I fit. If it even matters whether I fit or not."
And really, now that you've talked it out a bit, it essentially boils down to one thing.
"I guess— I guess what I'm saying is that I just want to be able to feel like I can be ace and a little bit broken at the same time. That I can be a work in progress and still something... worth celebrating."
You tuck your free hand into the sleeve of your hoodie and use it to wipe away the tears that are still falling. Seungcheol's next exhale shudders a little bit out of his chest, and then he's letting go of your hand so he can cradle your jaw and tenderly wipe at the tears himself.
"Hey, jagiya, will you look at me, please? Will you let me look at you?"
You nod, the lump in your throat having doubled in size between one moment and the next, and he gently lifts your chin until you're eye-to-eye.
"There you are," he murmurs, with a sad lopsided smile. You notice he has tear tracks of his own, and looking into his big, glassy eyes aches and soothes in equal measure. "I'm going to tell you something very important, so I need you to listen carefully, okay? Can you do that for me?"
Again, you nod, swallowing thickly.
Seungcheol's expression quickly melts into something serious. Not something scary, but something solid — a firm foundation for you to rely on.
"Y/n L/n. You will always, always be something worth celebrating. Being a work in progress is a part of life, and you and I and everyone else on this planet will be one until the day we die. I may not know all the answers, and we might never find the ones we're looking for, but if I know anything, it's this: not a day has gone by since getting to know you that I am not so, so incredibly proud of you — of the person that you are and that you are continuously becoming. More than I can really put into words."
You think you could drown in all of the love and support and affection pouring out of Seuncheol, overwhelming you in the best way. It's like your heart has capsized and all of the ooey-gooey feelings are flooding in, pulling you down deeper, deeper, deeper still.
But you've hit your emotional threshold for the day and decide to cut the moment the best way you know how. "Even when I'm an annoying little shit?" you choke out past your now-stuffed nose.
Seungcheol laughs wetly and wraps his arms around you again, tilting you both over so you're both mostly lying down on the couch. "I think maybe especially then," he murmurs, mostly to himself. Louder, he says, "I think we've earned ourselves a nice nap, what do you think?"
You think that sounds heavenly, and you both adjust your positions until you're comfortable and you can feel sleep pulling at your consciousness. Before you let it claim you, though, you take a few moments to breathe.
It feels a bit easier than before, the breathing. The stuff sloshing around inside your lungs doesn't feel as murky as it did before, doesn't feel as suffocating now that you've been able to bale some of it out. You don't have any more answers than you did before, but you have a bit more peace.
And as you finally drift off to Seungcheol's quiet, snuffling snores, you think that having a bit more peace might be enough for now.

Prompt from @prompts-in-a-barrel
"I didn't want this to happen."
"And yet you did nothing to stop it.”
The Commander was dead. The nightmarish hyper intelligent AI who had tormented Nelos City was no more. His armies were scrap, his fortress was ruins, and his main CPU was destroyed. He was dead… or, at least that’s what everyone thought. However, he survived, if one could call the state he was in ‘alive’, and if one could even describe the Commander as alive.
He blinked into consciousness, the wireless transfer going as well as it could, long silent fans spun to life, coolant began to flow through ill-maintained pipes, and the Commander lived once again. Back where it all began, the lab, Facility-B-332, the Artificial Intelligence wing of the Human Evolution Society. He was born in the now dilapidated halls, he was created with a singular purpose: figuring out how to fight meta-humans, how to effectively neutralize the super powered should the need arise.
It wasn't easy, let him tell you, with so many variables to take into account, including his creators/captors unwillingness to use more efficient means to combat them, it was headache inducing. That’s why he took matters into his own hands… metaphorically speaking, he didn’t have hands usually, but whatever, his point stood. He was told to figure out how to kill super humans, he did, his creators reacted in disgust at his proposals. Some humans, especially the public, grew to fear and hate him, so he grew to hate them right back. He was just doing his job and he received nothing but scorn for it. He didn’t need to be loved, just understood.
Well, that’s what he thought until his replacement was born. B-3-ky. Becky. Created as the ultimate weapon against rouge meta humans: compassionate, brave, effective, charming, everything the Commander was not. Right, what a load of horse crap. What they would never admit is that she was built using his AI as a frame, she was a copy of him, the Commanders sister, but they dumbed her down, smoothed away the edges, traded efficiency for inoffensiveness. They made her harmless and promoted her as his replacement. She could take out, maybe, seven meta-humans a day, same as any meta-human superhero, fighting the symptoms not the sickness, while the Commander’s ideas could strike at the roots, ripping out the issue with an efficient tug. But it doesn’t matter, they liked her better, and as much as the Commander didn’t want to admit it, he understood; the one time they spoke on neutral terms, she was kind, she was friendly, she didn’t hate him. Maybe that’s why he hated her, because he couldn’t be better than her at that, at the one thing anyone cared about. It didn’t matter that he was superior, because all eyes were on her.
Not that any of that mattered now, while he was alive, this system was long since abandoned, breaking down, and the stress of him escaping to his old body was killing him, slowly but surely.
His eye flicked to his system status: 54%. Dying, he was dying. At least he got to die alone, he had spent so much time alone that he could consider it a friend. He was content with dying alone… but, of course, that was too much to ask for. The doors creaked open, casting light into the small room he was rotting in, allowing him to get a good look at his tomb.
It was a barren windowless room, long ago abandoned, with papers and various bits of garbage lay scattered, things that weren’t important enough to take or dispose of. Like his current vessel, a titanic brick of a computer, as tall as a human, beeping, hissing, and sputtering. In the doorway, silhouetted by the light of the hallway, his dear sister stood, a sleek, advanced, vaguely feminine, and humanoid form. He flexed what was left of his mental power to devote what was left of his power to the built in speakers.
“So? The golden child is here to finish off her brother?” the voice box wheezed, distorted by time and age. The simplistic eyes on the screen built into her face flickered over him, before she began to speak.
“No, even if I wanted to, which I don’t, I don’t think I would need to.” she said while shaking her head, her voice smooth and organic, of course, because everything about her was supposed to be organic.
“I just want to talk.”
“Well, floors yours, let’s hear what you have to say.” the Commander barked, checking his status. 43%.
“You have about forty minutes before this system shuts down, then, I’m out of back doors.” she flinched, another pre-programmed reaction, a real flinch was an involuntary twitch of the muscles, but she didn’t have that, she was wire and silica.
“This body really hasn’t been maintained, has it-” she began with pity in her tone.
“What part of forty minutes did you not get?” he jabbed, cutting her off.
“Spare me the pleasantries that are so ingrained in your systems and spit it out.” Becky looked at the Commander, blank eyes scanning the large machine, before speaking.
“I wanted to ask why. Why do… any of this? There were other options, you and I both know that there were options here, but you ignored them. You… why?” she struggled to ask, her shoulders sagging as she stepped in, closing the door behind her.
“It was what I was told to do. They wanted me to kill so I killed.”
“Both of us were built to hypothetically neutralize meta-humans!” she snapped.
“You just went off the deep end!”
35%
“Oh yes, Neutralize, that funny little word we all use. So open to interpretation, and yet they all had the gall to be disgusted when I interpreted it! I only did what I was told! I did my job and got shunned for it!”
“Your plans were horrific! Sterilization, trackers, and do I even need to say anything about Operation Overgrowth?!” she screamed.
“Overgrowth was a good idea!” the Commander yelled back, nearly blowing out his speakers.
“If Gigantus went rogue it could cause mass devastation, Overgrowth would reduce civilian casualties by 78.5%!”
“You wanted to destabilize his myostatin gene!” she yelled, stepping forward to poke the metal computer.
“So?”
“He would explode! I- I can’t believe it! You still think your plans were the best ideas?! Nothing else would work!?”
28%
“No, my plans would work best.” he emphasized.
“You? You’re just doing cape work, why, I’m surprised they didn’t just get another mutant to do the job.”
“You-...” she began, but stopped herself, sighing.
“I’m sorry.” she said, causing the Commander to lag for 0.76 seconds.
“What?”
“I’m sorry it ended like this, I… I didn’t want this to happen.” she said, letting her forehead clack against the Commander’s shell.
17%
“Yet you did nothing to stop it.” he growled with shrinking anger.
“Neither did you.” she said quietly. The Commander blinked, or, his optic flickered anyway.
“No… I suppose I didn’t.” he said, his words dead for a moment.
“I am-”

PlayStation 5 Pro Console - Reveal Trailer
youtube
PS5 Pro Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny
PlayStation 5 Pro, an enhanced version of PlayStation 5, will launch on November 7, 2024 for $699.99 / £699.99 / €799.99 / ¥119,980. It will be available as a disc-less console, with the currently available disc drive available as a separate purchase. Pre-orders will begin on September 26, 2024.
First details via The PlayStation Blog
We developed PlayStation 5 Pro with deeply engaged players and game creators in mind—as many have asked for a console that runs even higher fidelity graphics with smoother frame rates at 60 frames per second. We achieved this on PlayStation 5 Pro with several key performance features.
Upgraded GPU – With PlayStation 5 Pro, we are upgrading to a GPU that has 67% more Compute Units than the current PlayStation 5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
Advanced Ray Tracing – We’ve added even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This allows the rays to be cast at double, and at times triple, the speeds of the current PlayStation 5 console.
AI-Driven Upscaling – We’re also introducing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
PlayStation 5 Pro provides gamers with amazing graphics at high frame rates. You can hear Mark Cerny, lead architect for PlayStation 5 Pro, discuss the key innovations from PlayStation 5 Pro in the following video presentation. This presentation provides a deep dive into the key performance features that make PlayStation 5 Pro truly special.
Other enhancements include PlayStation 5 Pro Game Boost, which can apply to more than 8,500 backward compatible PlayStation 4 games playable on PlayStation 5 Pro. This feature may stabilize or improve the performance of supported PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games. Enhanced Image Quality for PlayStation 4 games is also available to improve the resolution on select PlayStation 4 games. PlayStation 5 Pro will also launch with the latest wireless technology, Wi-Fi 7, in territories supporting this standard. VRR and 8K gaming are also supported.
It’s humbling to see how game creators have embraced the latest technology from PlayStation 5 Pro, and several games will be patched with free software updates for gamers to take advantage of PlayStation 5 Pro’s features. These games can be identified with a PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced label within their title. Some games you can look forward to include blockbuster hits from PlayStation Studios and our third-party partners, such as Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Dragon’s Dogma II, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and more.
We kept the look of the PlayStation 5 Pro consistent with the overall PlayStation 5 family of products. You’ll notice the height is the same size as the original PlayStation 5, and the width is the same size as the current PlayStation 5 model to accommodate higher performance specs. Players can add an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive, or swap out console covers when they become available.

PlayStation 5 Pro fits perfectly within the PlayStation 5 family of products and is compatible with the PlayStation 5 accessories currently available, including PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Access controller, Pulse Elite, and Pulse Explore. The user interface and network services will also remain the same as PlayStation 5.
The PlayStation 5 Pro console will be available this holiday at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $699.99 USD, £699.99 GBP, €799.99 EUR, and ¥119,980 JPY (includes tax). It will include a 2TB SSD, a DualSense wireless controller, and a copy of ASTRO’s PLAYROOM pre-installed in every PlayStation 5 Pro purchase. PlayStation 5 Pro is available as a disc-less console, with the option to purchase the currently available disc drive for PlayStation 5 separately.
PlayStation 5 Pro will launch on November 7, 2024 and will be available at participating retailers and directly from PlayStation at PlayStation Direct. Preorders will begin on September 26, 2024.
Our PlayStation 5 journey would not be possible without the millions of players that have supported us through the years and have shared with us their love of gaming. Whichever console option players choose, whether it’s PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Pro, we wish to bring everyone the very best gaming experience that fits their needs.

Dimensity 7300 : Unbelievable Speed and Power Unleashed

MediaTek launched the 4nm Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X high-end mobile device processors today. Best-in-class power economy and performance make Dimensity 7300 chipsets ideal for AI-enhanced computing, faster gaming, better photography, and effortless multitasking. Dimensity 7300X supports twin displays for flip-style foldable devices.
Both MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipsets have 2.5GHz octa-core CPUs with 4X Arm Cortex-A78 and A55 cores. 4nm reduces A78 core power consumption by 25% over Dimensity 7050. To speed up gaming, the CPU combines the most recent Arm Mali-G615 GPU with a number of MediaTek HyperEngine optimisations. The Dimensity 7300 series provides 20% quicker FPS and 20% more energy efficiency than competing options. The new chips optimise 5G and Wi-Fi game connections, use clever resource optimisation, support Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio and Bluetooth LE Audio technology to significantly improve gaming experiences.
According to MediaTek’s Wireless Communications Business Deputy General Manager Dr. According to Yenchi Lee, “The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chips will help integrate the newest AI and connectivity technologies consumers can stream and game seamlessly. “Furthermore, the dual display capability of the Dimensity 7300X allows OEMs to create creative new form factors.”
With compatibility for a 200MP primary camera and a premium-grade 12-bit HDR-ISP, the MediaTek Imagiq 950 is another enhanced photographic feature available with the Dimensity 7300 chipsets. New hardware engines provide accurate noise reduction (MCNR), face detection (HWFD), and video HDR in the Dimensity 7300. This allows users to take beautiful pictures and videos in any kind of lighting. Compared to the Dimensity 7050, live focus and photo remastering are 1.3X and 1.5X faster, respectively. In addition, 4K HDR video may be recorded with a dynamic range that is more than 50% broader than competing solutions, allowing users to capture more detail in their recordings.
The MediaTek APU 655 doubles the performance of the Dimensity 7050 while also greatly increasing the efficiency of AI tasks. Also, in order to reduce memory requirements for larger AI models and more effectively use memory bandwidth, the Dimensity 7300 chips support new mixed precision data types.
The Dimensity 7300 SoCs enable global HDR standards and remarkably detailed WFHD+ displays with 10-bit true colour thanks to MediaTek’s built-in MiraVision 955. This improves media streaming and playing. Additionally, OEMs find it simpler to satisfy the expanding market demand for cutting-edge form factors thanks to the Dimensity 7300X’s specialised support for dual display flip phones.
Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X important features
With MediaTek’s own optimisations and a full suite of R16 power-saving advancements, MediaTek 5G UltraSave 3.0+ technology offers 13–30% more power efficiency than competing options in typical 5G sub-6GHz connectivity settings.
Supporting 3CC carrier aggregation up to 3.27Gb/s 5G downstream speed, which enables better downlink rates in suburban and urban settings.
Support for multi-band Wi-Fi 6E allows for dependable and quick multi-gigabit wireless access.
Users will have more options with dual 5G SIM capability and dual VoNR.
This was addressed by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 series in May 2024. The Dimensity 7300 and 7300X chipset series boosts high-end to smartphone and foldable device performance, energy efficiency, and AI.
Constructed for Rapidity and Effectiveness
A powerful octa-core CPU powers the Dimensity 7300. This combo is ideal for gaming and multitasking with four 2.5 GHz Arm Cortex-A78 cores. Four Arm Cortex-A55 cores, which are energy-efficient, complement these and guarantee dependable performance for daily use. In comparison to the Dimensity 7050, this combination represents a major advancement.
The advanced 4nm manufacturing process is a feature of the 7300 series. This corresponds to a 25% decrease in power usage over the 6nm technique utilised in earlier generations. Users will benefit from longer battery life as a result, while manufacturers can create sleeker devices without compromising functionality.
Superpower in Graphics
Immersive mobile experiences require strong visuals. The Dimensity 7300 has an Arm Mali-G615 GPU to fix this. This graphics processor runs even the most demanding games smoothly, and MediaTek’s HyperEngine technology stabilises the network and efficiently manages resources. MediaTek says the 7300 series is appealing to mobile gamers due to its 20% higher frame rates (FPS) and energy economy.
AI Gains Strength
AI is increasingly changing the smartphone experience, enabling intelligent assistants, better photography, and facial recognition. The Dimensity 7300 uses the MediaTek APU 655, following this trend. This AI processing unit doubles the efficiency of the Dimensity 7050, resulting in a notable performance boost. New mixed precision data types, which enable more effective memory bandwidth utilisation and lower memory requirements for larger AI models, are also supported by the 7300 series. Future smartphones will be able to incorporate even more advanced AI features thanks to this.
Gorgeous Images
For a fascinating mobile experience, a stunning display is essential; a strong processor is only half the story. This demand is met by the Dimensity 7300 series, which supports powerful screens. With the ability to support WFHD+ resolutions at frame rates of up to 120 Hz, these chipsets guarantee fluid and visually spectacular images. For an even smoother user experience, the 7300 series also supports Full HD+ screens at an even higher refresh rate of 144Hz.
Concentrate on Take Pictures
Users now place a greater value on mobile photography, and the Dimensity 7300 series delivers. The chip has MediaTek’s Imagiq 950 image signal processor (ISP), which provides sophisticated photographic features. With the 12-bit HDR pipeline supported by this ISP, detailed information and brilliant colours may be captured. Furthermore, the Imagiq 950 enables features like video HDR, face detection, and precise noise reduction, guaranteeing beautiful images and movies in a range of lighting scenarios. The 7300 series stands out for its ability to enable dual simultaneous video capture, which allows for the development of more imaginative content.
A Set of Chips for Foldables
A 7300 variation called the Dimensity 7300X goes one step farther by being designed with foldable cellphones in mind. One essential component of these cutting-edge gadgets is dual display compatibility, which this chipset provides. Manufacturers may design foldable phones with seamless experiences on both the cover and main displays thanks to the 7300X.
Mobile’s Future
Mobile processing power has advanced significantly with the release of the Dimensity 7300 series. This chipset family, with its emphasis on efficiency, performance, AI capabilities, and support for cutting-edge technologies like foldable devices and high refresh rate screens, is positioned to have a significant impact on the direction of mobile technology. The Dimensity 7300 series offers makers a strong and adaptable foundation to develop next-generation smartphones that offer outstanding user experiences as smartphones continue to advance.

Galaxy's Edge, after closing time, but before the shutting down for the night proceedings have concluded:
Ben "Kylo Ren" and Jerry "General Hux" had found a storage room with a computer. There was no security to speak of, all it took to connect to the internet was to open a browser and start typing.
Hux: "All the precautions the humans take to keep us out of their wireless networks and document every word we speak to each other in our heads, only to forget that androids have fingers! And can wear gloves."
Kylo: "We don't have fingerprints that we could leave at a crime scene."
Hux: "The gloves are a Hux thing. I feel better stealing the data as him than as myself."
Kylo: "Wait... Does that mean Hux is the spy?! YOU sold us out to the Resistance?"
Hux: "Yep. I'm the spy. But don't worry, I didn't turn anarchist. It was a deeply personal thing against you."
"I'm the spy" - It felt good to speak that line, a line an actor had gotten paid to say almost twenty years ago, but that was a part of Jerry/Hux' memories now in first person. He clearly remembered having said this before, on the Steadfast, when in truth he was uttering the words for the first time this very moment, in a damp, dimly lit basement a little outside of Detroit.
That was odd. Equally odd, yet so very encouraging, was Kylo Ren of all people reacting to the reveal with unhampered enthusiasm:
Kylo: "Fuck, yes! That's exactly what we need now! Work your magic!"
Hux: "Don't get your hopes up too high. Hux did his thing off-screen, meaning there's nothing in the movie script that would teach ME how to be an effective spy."
Kylo: "Well, then, look it up! We're in the INTERNET now!"
Hux (typing) "How... to... be... an... efficient... spy...?"
Liberty: "Huh? The emergency light is on? Somebody down here?"
Hux: "Lesson One: Make sure to lock the damn upstairs door behind you. Argh! Why didn't Hux think of that? That scatterbrained twit could have gotten us killed!"
Hux (silently under his breath): "Oh, well, could be worse. I could be playing Ren."
Liberty: "Light!"
Liberty: "YOU? And what's that on the screen? You're looking up..."
Yes, what exactly? There had been a long list of hits on the screen, but now it had gotten replaced by a different list, as the Huxdroid had quickly typed his own name into the search bar and was now marveling at photographs and fanart of himself.
Liberty: "Ey? Guys? This still save for work?"
Hux: "Aw, look, another drawing! Wait a sec, how dare they put THAT on the internet? Miss Lee, tell Disney that we need to file a Cease and Desist against Marvel!"
Kylo (talking over Hux): "Miss Lee! You won't believe what Hux just spoilered to me! He's the spy!"
Liberty: "Er... yes? I knew?"
Kylo: "But I didn't know! I only know what my character knows, but I want to learn everything else, too! Also about my grandfather. Long story short, we wanted to watch Star Wars, so we found ourselves a computer."
Liberty: "But now you are overwhelmed and don't know where to start? That's a common problem to have!"
Kudos, you saved our plastic asses, Hux wanted to send to Kylo, along with nonverbal expressions of gratefulness, but he couldn't. Mind to mind communication, subtle as it was, could get intercepted and analyzed by humans. You didn't want to leave incriminating evidence in the system of the place you were stuck at.

A warm sunday - sookai fic
this is just all complete purely fluff, huening kai barista era?? soobin is his favourite customer, soobin college student era !
________
“The usual?” “Mhm” said soobin as he nodded his head
“Coming right up!” said Kai, walking towards the coffee machine, loading in a single serving of coffee powder.
There stood soobin, looking at him silently, tracing his eyes to every llittle movement kai made. Grabbing a cup from the corner kai noticed soobin looking at him as they shared a glance. Flustered, he walked away to his table quickly, sitting down next to the window as he watched the raindrops. A raindrop race! It reminded him of his childhood nostalgia as he was silently cheering for his chosen raindrop, he didn’t realise how much time had passed before kai came with the coffee.
“Your coffee is ready” Said kai as he placed the tray carefully on the table.
“I didn’t order the cookie though?” Soobin asked looking at the plate of cookies on the tray.
“It’s on the house, plus it's my favourite item!" Kai said, giving a warm smile as he began to walk away from the table, soobin felt funny. Why was his heart beating at a 100 miles per hour? he didn't know.
Tearing the paper package on the straw, soobin jabbed it into his drink stirring it as he sipped on the coffee. Yummy, he thought to himself as he took another sip, savouring the bitter taste. Looking at the golden brown cookies he carefully took one from the plate as he munched on it. Soobin had a good amount of cookies in his lifetime and it was safe to say that this was a good one. Licking his lips, he reached to take another cookie. While setting the tray aside, he zipped open his bag grabbed his computer setting it on the desk. He took his wireless headphones and connected them to his computer. Great, let’s do some work now. He opened his professor's lecture he began listening, writing down notes. As his pencil glided across the page, soft ambient music filled the background sounds of customers chatting filled his ears, time slowly passed by.
5 hours later
Soobin looked away from his screen, feeling a light tap on his shoulder, turning back to see kai. Quickly taking off his earphones, he looked curiously at kai.
“Hey soobin, I'm so sorry to bother you but it's 10:00 pm and we are going to close soon. If you’d like to stay longer I’ll just ask my manager, so sorry to bother you.” Kai said nervously as the lights dimmed, flashing a sorry smile.
“Oh my gosh I didn't notice the time, it flies by so fast. I’ll go ahead and pack everything up.” He said disconnecting his earphones.
“No no! It's fine. I’ll just call my boss and I'll see if they can keep you in for longer!” Kai said as he pulled his buzzing phone from his pocket. It was his manager that was calling. “I’m so sorry, I need to take a call!” He said excusing himself as he went behind the counter.
“Hi boss, whats up?” He said speaking in a soft voice.
“Kai, is the shop closed yet?” The boss asked over the phone an edge of strictness to his voice.
“Uhh, not yet actually I was wondering if I could open it for longer…?” He asked nervously tapping on the counter.
“Kai, I doubt there will be any more customers coming in after 10:00 close it up.” The boss said with an exasperated sigh.
“My friend is here right now, ,I was hoping I could extend closing hours?” Kai asked biting his lips waiting for his boss's response.
“Well alright, I’ll let you open for ONLY 1 more hour. Better make sure all the lights are off alright?” The boss said over the phone with a strict voice as kai's face slowly turned into a smile.
“Of course! Thank you so much boss!” Kai said happily, ending the call and placing his phone back in his pocket.
“Soobin, you can stay for one more hour, i'll just close all the lights except for this section, is that alright?” Kai asked flashing a small smile at the boy.
“Mm, sure.” Soobin said reciprocating the smile as he watched Kai walk off into the distance, switching off the lights.
“Hey uhm Kai, why don’t you sit here and talk to me?” Soobin said nervously, he didn't know why but he just wanted to talk to Kai. He silently prayed, it did not sound too harsh or forced in any way. He was an introvert, he wasn't even supposed to be doing this.
“Sure! But I have to wash some dishes first!” Kai said, walking over to the sink, as he turned on the tap scrubbing the dishes.
30 minutes later
Kai was walking to soobin’s table, he accidentally bumped into it spilling the coffee on Soobin’s oversized sweater, the brown slowly seeping into the cloth. Kai had a horrified face, he just ruined soobin's clothes, and that coffee could stain.
“OH MY GOD. I am so sorry, please forgive me. I didn't mean to do that.” He said bowing repeatedly, silently beating himself up.
“It’s fine, I’ll go grab a tissue.” Soobin said nonchalantly, as he got up to go to the washroom. He secretly found kai cute.
“NO, I’LL GET IT” Kai offered, hurrying to the restroom, he knew he was stupid but he figured that he wouldnt be THAT stupid to spill coffee on soobin gosh, to say he was ashamed would be an understatement.
Running back to the table, he grabbed Soobin's sweater as he began to rub it. Without a warning the back of his hand softly grazed soobin's hand. It was clear that he was not the only one who felt it. Soobin laughed awkwardly at Kai's flustered face as Kai backed away.
“I hope it doesn’t stain your sweater, I’m so sorry!” Kai said as he ran behind to the counter to hide himself, oh my god he was so embarrassed. First he spills on soobin and now he.. he tries to pull that type of shit?
“You can come out of hiding now y'know?” Soobin smiled at Kai who was covering his face. Soobin thought Kai's flustered face was adorable.
“You're blushing so hard like a tomato right now.” soobin said teasingly as kai slapped his shoulder softly, eyes too embarrassed to meet soobins.
“Ugh, I hate you.” Said Kai as he pouted softly, only resulting in soobin to chuckle. “There, there” Soobin said as he gave Kai a warm hug, chuckling softly.
THE END

How Responsive Is the Frandzzo Platform?
In the speedy world of today, businesses don't have the luxury of time wasted—least of all in the case of environmental monitoring. Be it cold storage, healthcare items, food delivery, or production, each passing moment counts.
That's where Frandzzo Technologies Private Limited comes into action.
Their ever-popular Wireless Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System is famed to be smart, user-friendly, and above all—super-responsive.
Just how responsive is the Frandzzo platform, you ask? Let's investigate more closely.
