please learn the difference between then and than. I'm not trying to be a snob, it genuinely changes the meaning of a sentence if you use them wrong.

then = another thing happens in consecutive order.

than = comparing another idea or thing.

Example of using these wrong:

I'd rather die then eat shit.

(Sounds like you're going to die and then eat some shit)

Example of using these correctly:

I'd rather die than eat shit.

(You're comparing two ideas. Instead of eating shit, you'd just die.)

my number one rule when I was teaching English was that you gotta learn the rules before you can break them!

я всегда смеюсь, когда в учебнике написано, что в этой главе вы научитесь использовать сослагательное наклонение. вы не научитесь. вы познакомитесь с некоторыми объяснениями и примерами сослагательного наклонения. что касается того, когда вы действительно научитесь использовать его, это решит ваш мозг, но, возможно, это произойдёт не раньше, чем через полгода. так что не торопитесь. расслабьтесь и наслаждайтесь процессом.

Я - поліглот і володію 5 мовами, тому точно знаю, як вивчати мови ефективно та швидко, в чому мені допомогають знання методики,педагогіки, психології та власний досвід.

Маю сертифікат рівня С1, практику праці в чеській школі та приватній школі іноземних мов, також кожного дня спілкуюся з носіями мови.
