Recently did a stall at the convention and when it got quite i made some lil doodles.

Was gonna cosplay as emmet but sadly didn’t have enough time.

last year i found a wii at goodwill for 25 dollars and it came with everything except a wiimote but it was in such good condition i was like hell yeah ill take it how hard can it be to find a wiimote. the answer is it's nearly impossible to find them at thrift stores now so i've spent like 8 months looking for ones in thrift stores but there wasn't a single one and then online but i just couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on one single wiimote so i waited so. patiently. and then 2 weeks ago i finally found one at goodwill for 9 dollars but it was absolutely disgusting and the battery cover was missing and the compartment was all corroded so i put it back and regretted it the whole week but then this last weekend i went to savers and there was an absolutely perfect wiimote just sitting there with no corrosion and a jacket and the wrist strap and motion plus and the nunchuck was there too and i got it all for 10 dollars so the moral of the story is that sometimes things seem right for you in the moment but you have to recognize that they aren't and leave them behind so the things that are meant for you will in fact find you when the time is right. peace and love <3

Now tell me why Simeon, who is a freaking angel (spoilers: well not anymore) from Obey Me, which is originally a dating sim has an actual dark brown skin tone compared to the majority of the genshin cast where it's supposedly inspired by cultures or cities with a lot of dark or tan skinned people. Skin Representation IS IMPORTANT 🤗 cause look at this:

Guess I've glazed twst a lot when it comes to character designs but damn at least they TRY to be somewhat accurate and at least HAVE more than 1 characters with REAL MELANIN😭 I know it's not a perfect game as it has problems and flaws (Whoever approved of Leona's whitewashed liongarb groovy card I will haunt you, especially since the cloud calling festival event is happening in english server) but you can see the creators actually try to properly portray representation in-game unlike SOME COMPANY

This is another page for the zine I'm working on!! Sort of. The words will be different, but the original didn't make sense out of context so I just slapped a quote in there. Chatting about art selections + no words version under the cut.

All of these images (except Kim!) were taken from the National Gallery of Art's website. I believe the filters I had on were Baroque, Renaissance, Rococo, and Romantic, but I don't entirely remember. Feel free to ask me about anything that catches your eye! The halo is taken from the Gothic work of 'Saint James Mahor' by Simone Martini. My main goal was to just find classical or renaissance paintings that I thought looked related to the Dolorian Church or just kind of had those vibes. My own personal favorites are the gutted pig (ha. get it), the dog and the bird, and the haloed lady in the top right. I found a lot of good stuff though!

The true unsung hero of this collage is its background. This is 'Berlin Abstraction' by Marsden Hartley. My main criteria in finding a background were that I wanted it to be abstract and I wanted it to be by a queer artist. (Also not too modern.) The messier parts of Kim that he keeps under that veil of composure. As an added bonus, 'Berlin Abstraction' depicts a lot of military imagery as well, specifically showing the overlap of these two identities of being queer and a soldier or RCM. I was really pleased to find it!

free my complex female character, she did the same thing as complex male characters but the fandom takes Any analysis of her actions/choices/motivations that doesn’t strip her of all of her agency in bad faith and claims that only misogynists would dare to critique the things that they’ve noticed in her character because she’s a woman, completely ignoring the over-presence of discourse about similarly traited male characters in their fandom.

Honestly ?? probably yeah I’m thinking about making some wolf 359 ones too (Doug and umm Hera ?? or another character ?? idk yet) so perhaps they’ll drop at the same time who knows
