Looking for Writeblrs
Tumblr media
Hello, hello there! My name's Jasper Y. Grace, I'm an artist and writer, and I'm looking for more writers to connect with. If you're an active writeblr, feel free to interact with this post and tell me about your stories!
Bonus points if:
high fantasy, high tech (a la Arcane, for example)
a poetic, flowery style of writing
romance is not the main focus of the story
a story meant for an older audience
you're also an artist or have art for your stories!
Boosts are greatly appreciated. I'll also include a little bit about my work under the cut :^)

An Immortal Laid to Rest
Also know as Project : Desert, this is my current book working on. It's a novella featuring the dual POVs of Vincent Helio, an ordained archivist trying to live up to expectations, and Orias, a shapeshifter who's been trapped in the desert for over a millennium.
It's a story centered around the concept of freedom, both physical and mental, and the love we show others. If you like character-driven stories, then I hope you'll stick around :^)
You can check out some of the story's art and writing here.

That’s all there is for Role Aids, but plenty of other people made cool stuff for D&D. Like Bard Games. Better know for Atlantis and Talislanta, the company’s first products were a trio of booklets that expanded the roster of existing D&D classes. The first was The Compleat Alchemist (1982, this edition 1983).
This wasn’t the first attempt at an alchemist class. At least two appeared in Dragon Magazine, the first in 1981. I’m sure other attempts exist. This is probably the most exhaustive. It is hampered somewhat by the system neutrality — there weren’t best practices for that sort of thing yet, so the language often feels vague. I also wonder, broadly, why there was such interest in Alchemists as a class when they always seemed a stay at home sort. Still, there is a lot of interesting (if likely overpowered) stuff here.
The book starts off with lists of ingredients and other components, which is a valuable resource on its own. Then you get the level specific abilities, which are…too powerful, though mitigated by time and cost. 1st level, alchemists can brew elixirs, 2nd level they get powders, 3rd is venoms. Things start to get interesting with 4th, when they can make a number of devices, including a rod of detection. Level 5 is talismans, level 6 is potions, 7 is dusts, 8 is solvents, 9 is gases. 10 is essences, which include elixirs of elemental power. Level 11 comes with the ability to create a number of constructs and level 12 allows access to the aqua vitae and the creation of artificial life. I would counsel limiting the number of magical substances an alchemist can create before allowing a player to roll one up, dang.
Still, this is a clever book. The abilities all build on each other, and there is an assumption that the creation of the many magic items is contingent on rare materials which provide the impetus for adventuring. I’ve seen far less reasonable first efforts!

me when there's a new chapter
Tumblr media
i loved it SO much! thank you for your amazing work on the fic 💚💚 because i'm insane, i do have some questions but no pressure to answer any/all of them!
1. the cabin expanding to include bedrooms -- is that because of bill seeing dipper as a permanent feature? like, you only give someone a bedroom because they'll be with you for awhile. it also makes the cabin more "homey" (they're building a real home together!) rather than somewhere they just spend time together.
2. "your parents are coming to town in about four days," bill told him, moving his pawn. -- an ironic moment or does bill have more to do with their parents than currently alluded to?
3. "i don't." dipper agreed. "but i like you." - someone keeping bill around despite not being needed anymore,,, someone who likes him and wants him around,,, wailing rn. but i could see that shifting how he interacts with ford later on!
4. did dipper actually just talk stan into going to greasy's or was that more persuasion? if dipper just asked without persuasion,,, stan just wanting to spend more time with dipper, especially with their parents coming 😭
5. does stan (currently) realize that dipper used persuasion on him? or is it unnoticeable to the person it's being cast on until someone points it out? (me when there's a magic system to analyze ‼️‼️)
6. DIPPER NOT BEING ABLE TO PASS THROUGH THE BARRIER ‼️
Tumblr media
more things to use to get ford to give up the equation, i guess?
7. ford correcting dipper's grammar and then not commenting on the fact that no one noticed for weeks that bill was possessing dipper,,, 👊👊👊 i will hit an old man idc. could've been a great "i know what you're going through because he also did that to me" moment and you FUMBLED THE BALL, FORD.
8. dipper not being able to see ford's eyes until after he's spoken about his relationship with bill!!! "the kind of care i felt was absent from my own life" ford, i know what you are. and then dipper immediately manipulating him afterwards 💀💀💀
9. THEY BOTH LIGHT THE FIRE AT THE SAME TIME ‼️‼️ THEY'RE BOTH BRINGING WARMTH AND HOPE TO THE RELATIONSHIP ‼️ fire also being seen as a symbol of resurrection and rebirth,,, plus as a connection between humans and gods since it's the only element we can make on our own,,, having Thoughts.
10. "nervous looks from all three present" is stan looking at him nervously because they've finally told him what's going on? i know he doesn't know at the beginning of the chapter, but they could've brought him in after the failed road trip,,, or is it because he knows their parents are almost here?
11. dipper being out most of the day -- is this the day that he told ford he would stay inside or was there a time jump?
12. "you clearly never loved each other." my mind immediately went to, "did they just get married because natalie got pregnant with the twins?"
13. "neil almost looked like he was glaring at him." dipper seeing things that aren't there, neil being upset about not being told about the grunkles, he's reaching to mabel's comment, he didn't want to take dipper, or a secret other option?
14. is natalie's boyfriend being named steve a pyramid steve joke 😭 also, she moved on quick if she's already moving in with the guy! or potential cheating? 👀
15. since ford tried to stop dipper from following mabel but doesn't run after them, does he get busy trying to stop stan from killing the pines parents? or does he follow but just can't keep up?
16. mabel isn't surprised that bill is possessing dipper,,, did ford tell her after the kitchen confrontation OR after dipper told him that he had been possessed for weeks and no one noticed?
17. while outlining his deal with mabel, bill refers to dipper as "your brother" and "pine tree." is that to establish the difference between dipper and "your brother" (him pre-gravity falls) and "pine tree" (part of the zodiac that could defeat him)?
18. me when bill says the name of the fic in the fic "a clean slate, take two, you won't remember a thing"
Tumblr media
19. with bill and dipper being able to interact in the real world, do you think they'll bond over music more? there is bill's cut song from weirdmageddon and he sings to ford later on. plus him playing the piano and dipper canonically playing the sousaphone,,, the town storms the fearamid to save the day just to walk in on a jam fest. 🎶
20. in the show, i don't think the zodiac symbols mean a ton, they're just the symbols characters happen to wear at some point (like pacifica) or that "represent their personality" like wendy with the ice. the team did have to scramble at the last minute to make the zodiac mean something as a pay off to fans! but do the symbols (at least for dipper and mabel) mean more in your fic? shooting stars can be symbols of romance, love, and extraordinary feelings, but they also are only fleeting moments. everyone gets excited when you get to see them because they're so rare, while ignoring the stars that are right in front of us all the time because we're so used to them being there. but shooting stars also aren't real stars! despite naming them that way, they only catch on fire because of the friction they experience while passing by... dipper and his connection with the stars while his sister is literally symbolized by a fake star...
pine trees are stubborn, strong, and fight to survive. they're resilient and symbols of immortality and steadiness due to their ability to survive in so many climates. but they're also symbols of spiritual communication and inner sight,,, with burning pine as an offering of food to deities and dipper referring to weirdmageddon as a forrest fire,,,
trees are rooted in the ground while shooting stars fly overhead... i mentioned it earlier with dipper's "if this is a con, then i deserve to fall for it" comment but "if a pine tree falls in a forest and the only one around to hear it is the interdimensional demon who spent weeks uprooting it until it finally falls, does it make a sound?"
thank you sm!! so excited for next week. the party can't come soon enough. (mentally throwing hands with dippy fresh already) 🎉
I'm so so glad you're enjoying so much!!
1. The nature of the cabin shall later be explained! :)
2. Bill did not technically have any sway over the parents coming to town, but it doesn't mean he can't use them nonetheless!
3. Yes! Dipper makes it a point to quite often remind Bill that he actually likes him.
4. Up to interpretation :)
5. So generally, the person doesn't know persuasion magic is being used on them unless they're specifically told it's possible, and they choose to believe it. It also doesn't work on someone who doesn't trust the magic user (at least, not at Dipper's level of use he's taught himself).
6. We shall see how it goes :)
7. Ford's complete lack of real emotional intelligence is one of his downfalls for sure! He fumbled the ball and fumbled it hard, partly because he's so embarrassed and partly for other reasons... To be revealed. :)
8. :)
9. This fire is my ultimate symbol of their entire bond and relationship... I love fire symbolism, gotta be one of my favorite literary symbols
10. Stan is nervous because of the parents coming, and he knows how rough the coming conversation will be, and he especially knows how angsty Dipper is, and is nervous for his reaction.
11. Same day he promised to stay inside! Between Ford and Bill, he listened to Bill's orders :)
12. Yes, actually! They basically had a super toxic, on and off relationship until Natalie got pregnant, then they both decided "eh, guess we'll get married then" and went from there.
13. Who knows? Perks of an unreliable narrator :)
14. Yes, the name came to mind because of him! 😂 She was definitely having an affair.
15. Neil and Natalie insisted he stay and tell them what all happened, and Stan sort of made him stay.
16. A secret third option :)
17. It's partly a distinction, Bill saying "your brother" to remind her of exactly what she wanted him to be, and saying "Pine Tree" to remind her who he's become!
18. Very intentional wording here! :)
19. We shall see! I like to think they'll be as musical as they want to be, with no one to stop them.
20. Oh yes!! The thing with Shooting Star just being a fleeting comet everyone adores and looks forward to, but the constellations being barely a second thought to most people... Definitely tried to play on that with Mabel getting all the attention and Dipper getting dismissed. With the wood in the fire being a symbol, Dipper using a forest fire as a metaphor, being stubborn and unwavering, all very intentional wood and tree allusions!
Can't wait to start the party next week!

-Slides Fragments of Magic over for consideration-
Did I mention the ebook is on sale this week for $0.99?
currently on the lookout for writeblrs with wips that vibe with my taste:
Fantasy, but not the whole medieval, elves, & fairies fantasy type stuff. It's cool but I can't get into it!
That being said, forest and nature magic is 100% different and I'll eat that up
Magic powers, almost a requirement
Friendship and found family focus
A balance of humor and seriousness like Avatar: The Last Airbender has, I love character shenanigans and sass and characters poking at each other's personalities and whatnot. Especially in a friend group
Tell me about your wips if you want??

➝ S-WORDS — Words and Swords; Our Deceptive Language. 🔑
Tumblr media
Words are more than elements of speech or writing. When spoken out loud, words transform into frequency and vibration that can be used to harness energy and harm or heal the body. In the occult world, certain words are used along with rituals and sacred geometries to direct and control energy to create certain desired effects. This process of using words, rituals, and sacred geometries to control and direct energy is known as magic. Be aware that I am not talking about magic tricks.
Words are powerful because they carry energy, sound, and frequency, which are some of the building “blocks” of matter. Furthermore, they carry information that can be used as knowledge to create or destroy things. When this knowledge is turned into wisdom, it becomes very powerful and can be used to expand a person’s consciousness and spiritual powers. This is why knowledge is power!
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

Maritime Roman Law
Judges have a Masonic hammer or gavel which they hit to declare the word of Law. The idea of law comes from the biblical ten stone commandments and so it is said that you “break” the law. Judges always sit on a three-tier high platform representing the first three blue degrees of freemasonry.
The same tritier platform is found at Congress, and the altar in most Catholic and Protestant churches is three tiers high. That’s also why you get/give someone the “third degree” related to the third degree of Masonry where the initiate is asked a series of probing questions he must answer correctly in order to become a Master Mason.
There is usually a gate around church altars just as there are gates with swinging doors in every courtroom. The congregations at church all stand up to recognize the priest, just as all rise when the judge walks in.
Then the judge takes a “recess” because he is in “court” playing a game of “ten”nis (commandments), with lawyers who play the dialectic protagonist/antagonist game, bouncing the advantage into each other’s court. In the courtroom witnesses must place their hand on the old/new “testament” before giving their “testimony,” just as a priest’s sermon is often called testimony (also notice “mon” from “moon” in testimony and sermon).
As a witness swears in, one hand is placed on the bible while the other is held up; In church, when parishioners feel the holy spirit, often during song, they will hold one or both hands up to praise the lord.
“Then when you get further into Saturn, you begin to understand that his color is black, that he was a God of one of the many different Semitic tribes, or groups, and one of his symbols was a square. Then you get into the square black mortarboard that the university or high school students wear when they graduate.
When you graduate from high school you come out processionally with a black robe, which is black for Saffron, the God of the Hebrews, requiring that you wear the square mortarboard on top of your head.
The square mortarboards are, of course, used by the Freemasons for their plaster, so that is why you wear a square mortarboard when you graduate, ultimately becoming an Alumni. It all has to do with Freemasonry; it all has to do with the control of education in this country.”
It is a square on his head, and it is usually black. The color of Saturn, one of the ancient Hebrew Gods. This is the same black used on the robe the judge wears when he is going to throw you in jail. Because the black represents Saturn. Saturn is the old Semitic God.
That is why churches and courtrooms look the same today, because when you go into churches you sit out here with the poor folks in the chairs out here in the pews, but you cannot go up onto the lifted higher elevation, you can’t go inside the gate, you can’t go inside the little doors, only the priest can go inside there and officiate for you.
You stay on the outside with the poor folks. The altar is always raised at least three tiers, because in Egypt that was the way it was always done.
The altar was always raised so the people could see the representative of God dressed in black. The priest comes out on the altar dressed in blac, and he is officiating for you, he is the mediator between you and God. That is the same thing that happens in the courtroom, you walk in and you are part of the poor folks sitting out here in the audience, and here is the fence, or gate, that separates you.
The attorneys can go inside the gate and they are your mouthpiece, to go talk to ‘God’ for you and see if they can get you off, and the lawyers will be the mediator between ‘God,’ or the ‘judge’ who judges you, and man. That is where all of this comes from in our society today.” ~ Jordan Maxwell, “Matrix of Power
In addition, when we go into court we have a “hearing” and present “oral” arguments to “plead” our case. The spoken word over the written word.
Deaf Phoenician = Definition
This is why we languish (Old French languir “be listless, pine, grieve, fall ill,” from Vulgar Latin *languire, from Latin languere “be weak or faint”) with our deaf-inition of language.
Alpha-Beta are the first two letters that make up our language. Once you start to understand the meaning of words, you will start to see this reality. There are 4 things to consider:
1- Definitions need to be understood
2-Etymology of the words needs to be studied (study of the origin of the word)
3-Phonics is utilized in everything. This is where the Phoenicians are attached into Phonics
example: C / Sea / See
4-word-splitting; the practice of splicing words in various ways to find “hidden” elements contained within them. An easy example of word-splitting is LANGUAGE = LAN / GU / AGE
Lan = Monster that protects the noble ones Gu = the god of war Age = the age of the zodiac. So the final meaning of this word is: monster of war that protect the noble one’s or golden gods throughout the ages.
Why do we have noses that run and feet that smell?
Why do drive on a parkway, yet park in a driveway?
Why at a ballfield if it hits the foul ball pole, it’s a fair ball home run?
Why do we call it a freezer burn?
Did you notice that the term “words” is an anagram for the term sword? Switch the letter “s” in the term words to the front and you get the term sword. The letter “S” goes one way and then the other, so it also crosses over to the other side equally, like the “S” in Snake/serpent/slither/sin. The letter “M” is shaped like a Mountain, “V” for Valley, “T” as a Top, B for Breasts, “D” for Dome and, “C” for Crescent.
Words are like swords because they can be used to harm you. In a way, words are more powerful than swords for the reason that they can harm or heal you at the deepest levels of your being. In Greek, the term “word” means logos. The word logos is defined as “the source that controls the universe, the written word or inspiration of God, or a logic and rational argument.” In ancient Greek philosophy, the word logos is defined as “the controlling principle in the universe. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 11:15
Another word that has a strong connection to the term word is the term light. Light is sometimes referred to as photon. In physics, a photon is usually indicated by the symbol γ, which is the lower-case letter of the Greek symbol Γ (gamma). Some etymologists believe that the Greek word gamma is where the word grammar originated from. In English, grammar means “the study of the classes of words, their inflections, and their functions and relations in the sentence”. Spells are cast in schools and the bell clearly rings each class to disassociate from the last lesson, so a new lesson can be taught and forgot. Those in power do not wish you to take their power. The ringing bell was taken directly from Ivan Pavlov’s behavioral science theories on how to keep memory retention at a minimum.
Origins of Our Deceptive & Deceiving Language
How language is used, and how words interact with one another, is of paramount importance in understanding the law. We all speak Phoenician each day without even knowing it or ever being taught the duality of language and sound.
Pick up the…. phone…phonics. phonics (n.) 1680s, “science of sound,” from Greek phone “sound,” from PIE root *bha- , “to speak, tell, say”. What is definition? Is it a statement of the meaning of a term or word. Or is it something else? Is it Deaf Phoenician that the Phoenicians and the Canaanites have defined the way that we speak still to this day?
El-ections, S-Elections and Gross Mis-Directions
When people vote, where do they do so? In a voting terminal or polling/poling station. People are volting, not voting, because they are going to the polls which are the electric battery poles of positive (+) and negative (-) to place their volts on the candidate that they want to see out in charge. The pole-atician that receives the most volts (“votes”) is the one that is going to be put into the position of power. It’s not called power politics for nothing.
The “Electoral college of electors” are the ones that actually determine who will be President – not any popular vote, poll, media, or statistic. “Registering to vote” is an admission that the declarant is subject to the exclusive legislative power of the corporate Congress and is a 14th Amendment citizen residing in federal territory. By voting you are contracting as a strawman, a fictitious character in the eyes of the law. A human resource, not a human just being.
Finance, Banking and Law
We go to the river Bank and fill out a deposit Slip. We use our Current-Sea to buy goods, while accounting with our Liquid, Ill-iquid and Frozen assets while the Vatican rules over all because it is also known as the Holy-Sea.
Common Law is also known as Mar-(Sea)– itime Law where trusts were created by the Vatican in the 14th and 15th centuries in the Roman Latin Laws we still use today. This is why we must use a Latin Dictionary (Black’s) to decipher legalese in court.
The Testamentary and Quest Cue Vie Trusts placed all “lost souls” at Sea so when we go to court we sail in on our citizen-ship to argue about loss and damages of our contractual relation-ships, partner-ships, owner-ships, etc. It’s all about monetary loss and injury compensation.
When we enter the court (to play ball?) to see who will win, we enter the Docket, (where a ship berths), as the judge (captain) rules down from three blue Freemasonic levels on high with his phallic gavel to determine who is liable to us cargo that was lost at sea. You See?
Resident in Etymology means RES ~ property or thing and INDENT ~ to Identify. The capital “P” is for Principal, so the P-Resident is the Principal over the Identified Property or IP, which in legalese, is you.
Also, when you are born, you slide down your Mother’s birth (berth) canal and land on your “berth” certificate, where the hospital is paid to regis-ster (regis = regal, crown and ster = to enroll) so that the banksters can account for you into securitized debt from the bankruptcy the United States never got out of since 1933.
Straw Man: ‘A front’; a third party who is put up in name only to take part in a transaction. Nominal party to a transaction …” Black’s Law Dictionary, 6th Edition
“The term is also used in commercial and property contexts when a transfer is made to a party, the straw man, simply for the purpose of retransferring to the transferor in order to accomplish some purpose not otherwise permitted.” [Barron’s, 3rd Edition]
Legally, since your birth, your artificial person has been considered a slave or indentured servant to the various federal, provincial and municipal governments via your STATE-issued, STATE-created birth certificate in the name of your ALL-CAPS person. Your birth certificate was issued so that the issuer could claim “exclusive” title to the legal person created. This was further compounded when you voluntarily obtained a driver’s license and a SSN (Social Security Number). The state even owns your personal and private life through your STATE-issued marriage license/certificate issued in the all-caps names. You have had no rights in birth, marriage, nor will you have them even in death unless you re-capture your straw man. (The names on tombstones in cemeteries are in all-caps.) The STATE holds the title to your legal person it created via your birth certificate, until Jane Mary Doe, the rightful owner, the holder in due course of the instrument, that is yourself, reclaims/redeems it.
The Straw Man is a “Person” according to the legal dictionary. Person: 1. a human being. 2. An entity (such as a corporation) that is recognized by law as having the rights and duties of a human being.” ~ Blacks Law Dictionary, 7th Edition
A Human Being: A person of the male sex. A male of the human species above the age of puberty. In the most extended sense the term includes not only the adult male sex of the human species, but women and children. . In feudal law, a vassal; a tenant or feudatory.” ~ Blacks Law Dictionary, 5th Edition
On April 5, 1933, then President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, under Executive Order, issued April 5, 1933, declared: “All persons are required to deliver on or before May 1, 1933 all Gold Coin, Gold Bullion, & Gold Certificates now owned by them to a Federal Reserve Bank, branch or agency, or to any member bank of the Federal Reserve System.” James A. Farley, Postmaster General at that time, required each postmaster in the country to post a copy of the Executive Order in a conspicuous place within each branch of the Post Office.
Everything, since June 1933, operates in COMMERCE! Commerce is based on agreement, contract. Government has an implied agreement with the straw man (Strawman) (government’s creation) & the straw man (Strawman) is subject to government rule, as we illustrated above. But when we, the real flesh & blood man & woman, step into their “process” we become the “surety” for the fictional straw man (Strawman). Reality & fiction are reversed. We then become liable for the debts, liabilities & obligations of the straw man (Strawman), relinquishing our real (protected) character as we stand up for the fictional straw man (Strawman).
A Sole Corporation, as Defined by Black’s Law Dictionary, is one consisting of one person only and his successors in some particular station, who are incorporated by law in order to give them some legal capacities and advantages, particularly that of perpetuity, which in their natural state as persons they could not have. In a corporation sole, one person holds both operational positions of the organization. A corporation sole may be established under legislative authority. It is considered by statute a citizen of the government.
The people are in the State and National government at that same time. The public government is an artificial entity. The government is owned and controlled by the same people. The government is a sole organization, not an aggregate organization. As long as a man is dealing publicly, he is in a sole relationship with the public. The straw man, being artificial, lives in the artificial place called the public. At the same time as people are acting collectively in the larger body of people called the State and National government, they maintain their ability to act individually on a private basis. The people did not give up the rights they did not delegate to the government – they retained those rights. Any man can contract privately as they see fit and government cannot interfere with the private contracts of men. The straw man lives in the public side of government. He is part of the public government, and functions under the laws of the public. This is necessary and proper because the creator of an entity has the right to control it.
Since the government created the straw man, it is only right that the straw man live under the rules of its creator. But once the straw man has been redeemed, the government is no longer in control of the straw man. He is now controlled by the man using his right to private contracts.
So far, the readers might be saying to themselves; WHAT!? Precisely! WATT! A watt is a unit of power that is equal to 1 joule per second. And this correlates with the situation when people say that someone isn’t very bright because they need to ask the same question over and over gain. What? Watt? Wait!?!…
That person is said to be dim because they are not en-light-ened. You could, of course refuse everything that is being shown, but that just creates a negative ionic polarity charge within your own biology, hence to re-fuse because a fuse is an electrical device that interrupt the flow of current if it becomes overloaded. I trust that this will not con-fuse the readers.
The use of the word ‘pin‘ is the reason that banks get you to use a ‘pin‘ number when using a bank card. Well, the Spanish word ‘borne‘ translates as ‘terminal” and “point of a connection to current of electricity.” When people travel to and from airports or bus stations where to they arrive and depart? At the terminal. When you use your credit card you are “charged”, as in a “charge” card.
Logos also translates to ratio, symbol, reason, idea, and logic. The ancient Greek people believed that the power of the logos can be expressed through words and be used to create mystical things (i.e., sacred geometry) through sound. Have you ever wondered why the symbols of corporations are called logos? It has to do with magic and sacred geometry! The process of using logos (source, energy, force) to create things, such as sacred geometry, can be seen in cymatics.
Cosmology and Language
Do you know where and how the day of the week got their name from?
Sunday – Gold – It represents the Sun’s Day.
Monday = Silver – Moon or luna or lunatic’s Day
Tuesday = Iron – marti or Mars = Tui’s, or Tyr’s god of war Day
Wednesday = Quicksilver – day of Mercury = god Woden’s Day
Thursday = Tin – Jupiter= Thor’s day
Friday = Copper – Venara = Venus=god Freya’s or Aphrodite’s Day
Saturday = Lead – god of agriculture = Saturn day
7 days of the week, 7 sacred planets, 7 sacred metals of ancient alchemy, 7 continents, 7 seas, 7 energy charkras in the human body, 7 colors of the rainbow, 7 tones in our voices, 7 year itch, 7 hills in Rome, and 7 wonders of the ancient worlds.
Let’s first look at how one is born into the world, or “whirled”. Why are we “whirled”? First off, from a pedantic perspective this should be obvious since the world’s is “whirled” on its axis. The writers of the matrix movies also knew why because the main character Neo is actually derived from the Latin word ‘neo’ that means “spin, wave”.
The separation of our body from the Sun works in a seven step process which is why there are 7 major planets that give us the seven days of the week. There are seven notes in a mode of music and we also see seven colors in a rainbow. The colors, sounds and words that are whirled are all sep-a-rated because the prefix ‘sep‘ comes from the Latin ‘septem‘ meaning ‘seven‘ which gave the word september which was originally the seventh month of the Roman calendar.
There are seven chakras within the human body that the ancients called the ‘spinning wheels of light’. This is appropriate because their colored wheels are whirled, and we live in a world of colors because we are HUE-mans. Hue is simply a word for color and the quality of the colors determined by the dominant wavelength of each color.
There is an astounding amount of indication and evidence to show that we are multi-dimensional beings that are caught in a cycle of sepa-ration with a certain mathematical ratio of vibration waves holding us prisoner in a endless movie-like loop. The ratio is the ration of the GOD RA (RA-tio) within this base ten reality. Ten fingers and ten toes as the Swedish ‘tio’ states with a meaning of ‘ten’.
The fake gods that hold us all prisoner also need to ration us because we are their food, and a ration is the food allowance given for one a day. The sep-a-ration that is given to the gods while we exist inside of this, our cinematic matrix reality.
Soldiers are sold-to-die, that is why they have dog tags issued to them.
Another way that language is used to make people believe that an action is somehow different when is an employee from government doing the deed.
Arrest = kidnap Bail = Ransom Tax = Extortion Fines = Extortion Confiscation = Steal Usage of Force = Assault Usage of deadly = Murder Collateral damage = Murder!
Bib-el * El-ite * Tower of Bab-El or to Babble On?
We have become the property of the god known as EL – hence, “do what I say”, “oar EL‘s” indicating if we do not follow the storyline we will be punished by, OR-ELse.
When you go to a bank, you submit an application for the corporation to take your money. Why do you have to submit and apply to the bank? Should not they be submitting and application to YOU for YOUR money instead? Think about that for a minute. Your name is ALL CAPS. You have joined their corporation and in return, they give you a promissory note in return for your money, or One-Eye.
We are told never to swear, yet when we go to court we must raise our hand and “swear” to tell the truth, the whole (hole) truth and nothing but the truth, yet few judges can even tell you the differences between these three separate “truths” you attest to while swearing in front of the judge and jury….per-jury?
submit (v.) late 14c., “to place (oneself) under the control of another, to yield oneself,” from Latin submittere “to yield, lower, let down, put under, reduce.
apply (v.) late 14c., “to put (one’s faculties, etc.) to some task or career,”
This is why “bail-ins” are becoming so common now around Europe, and coming to the U.S. Bail-ins are when a bank depositor’s money is stolen from them referred to in legalese as “Re-Hypethecation. This is the stealing by banks and brokers, for their own purposes, the assets that have been posted as collateral by their clients. Clients who permit rehypothecation of their collateral may be compensated either through a lower cost of borrowing or a rebate on fees. In a typical example of rehypothecation, securities that have been posted with a prime brokerage as collateral by a hedge fund are used by the brokerage to back its own transactions and trades. In the United States, rehypothecation of collateral by broker-dealers is limited to 140% of the loan amount to a client, under Rule 15c3-3 of the SEC.
If you believe there is enough FDIC insurance if it comes down to reimbursing you and all other depositors for your losses, you should think that one again.
Police Officer: A re-venue agent that enforces corporate government contracts and protects the assets of the corporate government including human resources. Compels performance, no injured party necessary. One who has policing powers as found in a “POLICE STATE” i.e. Nazi Germany. An enforcer of policies. The name “Police”came from “policies”.
And to “Register”: fem. proper name, from Latin, literally “queen;” related to rex (genitive regis) “king” (see regal). So when you register your car, you are enrolling it with the Crown of England. This is why you get a “certificate” and not “title” to your car as well.
Enroll your child is to “sign up,” “join”. Register your child “put into inventory”. People are known as “chattel” in legalese. We are just cattle to them. That is why their departments of government are called “human resources”. Just substitute one word and you get “water resource” which means the same thing to local, state and federal governing bodies….and don’t forget International Law as well. All legal systems drive you “up” through the legal system, yet all courts are for-profit corpsorations, belonging to owners hidden by “dba” accounting, or “doing business as”, effectively hiding the true legal profiteers.
Matrix is furthermore the Latin word for ‘womb‘ which is where out body-ship is birthed or berthed. All ships find their berth when they reach the port or dock. When Neo woke up in the matrix, he was inside a battery “womb” or “I-Pod,” which is why Apple computers sells everyone I-Pods, and I-Pads to reflect this. The definition of ‘pad‘ that concurs with this, is that of the temporary living quarters. We are all living in our “I-Pads” or “I-Pods” because we bit the “apple‘ of Sin…
The word “apple” is also phonetically spoken as “A-Pull” because our body ships are receiving a tow (toe) on the conscious dream line of reality which is why we have a skull. A skull? Yes, because a ‘scull‘ is an oar that is used for sculling, and sculling is the propelling of a boat by an oar over the stern. John Sculley ran Apple Computer for ten years. Another co-incidence?
Everything is this reality is designed to make us fearful, and this starts right at birth. It has been said over and over again to humanity that man is born in Sin. Man bit the “Apple” to then be continuously re-born in his or her Apple “I-Pods” which becomes an unrepayable debt. What is the Merriam-Webster’s number one dictionary definition of the English word “debt?”…. Sin! To pay the debt of “Sin” which is the price of our berth and birth in the moon. Remember that the seven days of the week do not include an earth day, since man is truly born in Sin.
We all say HELL-o to each other in everyday greeting. Think about that for a minute.
Every ship, including the human body, is eventually brought into port and is then docked. This is why there is a doctor that de-livers the body-ship because it is a new “liver” being produced – another living being that is being de-livered by the doctor as docked ore. Hence, doctor is phonetically docked ore, and you as the human being are the ore/oar that is going to be mined for gold in your mind because mind is mined, giving us the actual basis of the Sumerian depiction of the Annunaki coming here for gold, because we are the human resources that “mind for gold.”
This also displays the fact that humans are seen as the chattel property of these false gods, since we are the ones they mine, and when someone states that something is theirs, they say “it’s mine!” We are the endless resource being mined/mind, and companies do not have human resource departments because the title sounds fancy. You are also the ore which has an oar because you are the body-ship that needs to paddle through this existence which is a sea of electricity.
Doctors use paddles to resuscitate someone who is in cardiac arrest for this reason. What do they use to resuscitate the patient? Electric currents; just like the sea that has currents. What else do doctors do? They perform surgery, because it is an electrical surge to the body of the patient, thus surge-ery. The docked oar is also the connection to the body-ship and sea terminology, since the doctor has de-livered the docked oar: an oar that is sitting in it’s berth and no longer rowing.
Double cross; An act of betraying an ally, friend, or associate. The Cross of Lorraine has a long history of use in Secret Societies and the Brotherhood. This is also where the term “double cross” comes from. The Illuminati bloodlines, including the double cross is used in the crests of Lithuania, Hungary and Slovakia. The Knights of Malta use the red double cross, as does the largest oil company in the world, Exxon Mobil. Nabisco, the American Lung Association, Hallmark cards as well as Marilyn Manson’s Double Cross album cover also use the double cross logo.

Grammar is the art of inventing symbols and combining them to express thought; logic is the art of thinking; and rhetoric is the art of communicating thought from one mind to another; the adaptation of language to circumstance.
The occult definitions of certain words in this article reveal that grammar or the way words are used has the potential to direct and control energy or light/radiation. In the Bible verse Genesis 1:3, it says “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” In this verse, the Bible tells you that God used words/logos to manifest light. Keep in mind that the word light has a strong connection to the term word and grammar. In other words, the Universe was created from light and word/logos. The word logos is defined as “thesource that controls the universe”.

ACADEMY LOG, DATE: XX/XX/20XX. SUBJECT: ARCANA ACADEMY
In the heart of Arcana City lies Arcana Academy;
A prestigious school dedicated to helping its students to train and practice their magical abilites, being a step above all the other ones within its country.
This Academy has existed for around a century by the time its 20XX, even predating the first Great War.
And by the time the second and last Great War concludes, Arcana Academy’s curriculum expanded to allow students to study more than three elements of their choosing, even letting students study all the elements if they’re up to it.
After an incident involving two male students being left behind to die to a swarm of entities due to them being in an relationship, the Academy decided to go out of its way to become a safe space for all its students, doing its best to protect them from any outside harm whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.
By the time a new century began, the Academy implemented the dormitory group system:
A group consisting of 8-12 students, whom are usually in the same grade share a floor consisting of 8 bedrooms, all of which also come with a bathroom and mini fridge, alongside a living room and kitchen, and other amenities like a pool or terrace depending on the living needs of the students.
Students that are assigned to reside on the same floor are recommended to learn to get along with one another as they’ll be sharing the living space for the rest of their time at Arcana Academy. And will commonly be grouped up for quests and Academy missions.
Of course, the Academy will provide supervisors during missions so that the students won’t do anything that’ll get out of hand.
It’s not like a group of students would end up going out of their way to end up in something dangerous, would they?

-Random Creature Type Table: A quick guide to the various creature types for reference purposes. Rollable Random Creature Type Table.
Random Godly Domains Tables: Depending on your system and in-game universe, there may already be a pantheon, singular or lack of Gods. However, people are superstitious wherever your players go and these tables allow a DM to generate a domain, theme or patronage to quickly flesh out a trinket with a “Random Godly Domain”. Rollable Godly Domains Table.
Unique Metamagic Options: The practice of learning, preparing and casting spells is often considered Art rather than religious fervour, academic knowledge or inborn skill. Over a dozen homebrew options all of which provide a vivid description of exactly how the caster is deliberately warping the nature of the spell to achieve their goal. Rollable Unique Metamagic Options.
-All Mottos: Whether they're called adages, maxims or creeds, these simple statements are essentially promises made to oneself, family, or institution. A character's motto can be a goal in itself or a moral anchor that centers his life and guides his action. A mixed collection of real life and fictional mottos that can aid a DM to quickly expand the history of the campaign or to aid a PC in a richer character creation.

Random Musical Instruments Table: There are a surprisingly large number of ways to pluck a string, blow through a tube or hit something with a stick. This collection of real life instruments are all capable of being created with pre-industrial techniques and can be easily be carried, maintained and played by a traveling adventurer. Rollable Musical Instruments Table.
Random Nightmares: A collection of unspeakable, nonsensical night terrors, worse than the strongest of bad trips on powerful hallucinogens. These exist to frighten adventurers who have seen more than their fair share of trauma. A cleric’s healing words can mend the flesh but nothing truly mends the mind from witnessing the aberrant horrors, monstrous beasts and undead abominations, whose defeat is an adventurer’s main source of income. Rollable Nightmares Table.
Random Weapon Tables: Sometimes you just need a weapon and literally anything mildly lethal will do the trick. These lists give a DM the ability to quickly look through different options when generating loot. Rollable Random Weapons Table.
-Random Sword Table
-Wild Magic Surges: A collection of Wild Surge options for DMs and PCs who find the published tables limiting, repetitive or boring, three things wild magic by definition, should never be. Rollable Wild Magic Surge Table.
Glossary and Common Terms: A collection of terms and lingo that are frequently used in D&D and other tabletop games, along with terms written by me specifically for use in this blog. Some words used in this blog are purposely written as “catch all” ideas or “Common Terms” that can easily be adapted to any game system.

Energy Systems
In DnD 5e we have gained a few different ways to track uses of features.
This will be a long rambling post so excuse me while I go off.
But if you want to see some incite into how I expand on Ki and Psionics look below.
Spell Slots
The most obvious, and most in depth, of these systems is the spell slot. A character starts with 2x 1st level slots. Every level* you increase the number of slots you have of that level until you reach its cap (4 for 1st, 3 for 2nd-5th, 2 for 6th-7th, and 1 for 8th-9th), though spell slots of 5th and higher require their highest above tier to be unlocked before progressing (this is the reason 5th-7th gain additional slots at 18th, 19th, and 20th level).
Spell Points
The frequently overlooked brother of spell slots. Though I exclusively use it with sorcerers to help differentiate them from wizards and other full casters.
They essentially brake down spell slots into smaller bits, giving you a pool of energy to draw upon. More like a mana bar in your typical RPG.
Tumblr media
You loose out slightly in your high tier casting (as you lose the ability to cast multiple 6th and 7th level spells) but you more than make up for it in flexibility.
These are also useful as a measuring point between energy systems.
Ki
Relegated to the monk (in official use), Ki is mostly overlooked as its total supply is frequently lacking in low level play, though gaining it back on a short rest must be worth something.
Psionic Talent Die
Used exclusively by the Psionic Subclasses found in Tasha's. They are a pull of die that an be expended to preform effects and cast spells.
Mixing it up
So doing some converting between these I present the following.
Spell Slots/Spell Points
Characters that gain spell casting when they gain their class at first level, and progress in spell casting growth each level are known as Full Casters. Characters that gain spell casting when they gain their 2nd level in a class, and progress in spell casting every other level are Half Casters. Characters that gain spell casting when they gain their subclass (3rd level), and progress in spell casting every third level are Third Casters.
At max level:
A Third Caster has:
4x 1st level Slots (8 Spell Points)
3x 2nd level Slots (9 Spell Points)
3x 3rd level Slots (15 Spell Points)
1x 4th level Slots (6 Spell Points)
Totaling: 38 Points
Half Casters have 64 Points, and Full Caster have 133 points.
This allows us to more easily show the discrepancies in power from sources based on how the power is gained.
Using some conversion, we can calculate the total energy of other sources.
Ki
If the Monk can be thought of as a Martial Half Caster of the Ki world, using a mix of martial combat and magic Ki.
A hypothetical Ki Full Caster, we'll call it a "Priest". Would have around 42 Ki at max. Probably having 2+2/Level.
A hypothetical Ki Third Caster, we'll call it a "Friar" subclass for a Rogue or Fighter. Would have 12~ Ki at max. Probably call it Ki = Proficiency x2 for simplicity.
These are the calculations I used to make my version of the Four Elements Monk, "Way of Elemental Harmony" and have it feel on par with its Half Caster siblings (though in reality it's more like a Warlock because of regaining energy on a short rest).
Psionic Talent Die
If the Psi Knight Fighter/Soul Edge Rogue are the Third Casters of the Psionic world as they are gained through subclass.
A hypothetical Psionic Half Caster, we'll call it a "Psion". Would have around 20 Psionic Energy Die at max. Probably 1/level.
A hypothetical Psionic Full Caster, we'll call it a "Mystic". Would have around 42 Psionic Energy Die at max. Probably having 2+2/Level.

I saw your post about reading Tarot in regards to what to do if someone is aggressive towards your interpretations- and it was insanely inspiring and beautiful. I was wondering if you could post a small guide on how to read tarot. I want to get better at it, but I have a horrible memory and don’t know what to do. You seem like a safe person to ask because of your daring-ness and openness. I would be incredibly interested in your opinions & thoughts on how to get started again, and what might work for someone like me, who’s only ever used the basic interpretations in books, etc to read my cards. I have strayed away from Tarot recently because it doesn’t feel like the answers I’m receiving from these basic interpretations is enough- it doesn’t satiate the hunger and I even question if it truly applies to me. It feels muddy. I feel like I’m not expanding my knowledge each time I try.
we are in reference to this post
Good morning! Thank you for your kind words.
I too have felt tarot becoming muddy for me. It is a cycle I go through perhaps about once every two years. Most recently, my muddiness inspired this project which more or less carried me through to clear waters.
But I started working on that almost two years ago. I've got a new project in the works now.
If you'd like further reading material, try this ask which has my helpful links corralled.
I think it would be fun to write more about tarot, but I was supposed to start writing a new book yesterday and now I'm already behind on that. Plus a sponsored post I'm lagging on finishing, too. Some day, perhaps?
There are too many things you could try. Each of us needs different things.
There are tarot-based things you can try, like studying the Fool's Journey, or reading books like Mystical Origins of the Tarot by Paul Huson, to expand the frameworks in your mind within which you operate.
There are magical things you can try, like initiating under the powers of the Moon or a deity related to divinatory power, creating talismans that open Sight, casting spells to bring necessary knowledge to your doorstep, and so on.
There are experimental things you can try, like cross-pollinating with playing card reading systems, writing OC lore for the suits or major arcana to give you a new way to connect with them, or trying to invent single-player games which use a tarot deck.
There are many things you could do. Did you know about reading with a restricted deck? Reading that primarily takes into account the elements of the cards? Reading that pays a lot of attention to which direction the characters in the card are facing?
I never got along with most pre-made spreads. I find them to be stilted and lacking. Early on I started mapping my spreads to the four elements and cardinal directions. Then I figured out you can put cards in the cross-quarters that represent north-east, south-east, etc. This can go on forever. You can lay cards out in a massive spiral that fractals out from the four cardinal points.
I was not good at doing small spreads for several years. I still do not prefer them. Are you only trying 3-card draws or small spreads? Try huge ones. 12 cards. 20 cards. Leave spreads open for hours or days as you contemplate them. Place them out, look at each card once, say the first thing you think of, deliver your summary at the end, and put the cards away.
There are many things you can try. Think about what you are doing now and do the opposite. Do you shuffle, draw 5 cards in a line, and look up meanings in the book? Instead, spread the cards out and pick which ones you want to use. Place them in a geometric shape. Do not look at the book.
Give yourself symbol sets to work with. "Intuitive reading" is such a chore. Instead of staring at a card waiting for something to come, seed your imagination. Do you like fairy tales? Well, now each card is a scene or character from fairy tales. Maybe you prefer Marvel movies instead. Or, Percy Jackson. Now each card is something from Percy Jackson.
Some people can't read for themselves. So, read for characters from movies or books. Read for historical figures. Read with signifiers and without. Draw with a question in mind, or not. Practice telling the future or telling the past.
I could go on. There are too many things to try.
Try anything other than what you are doing now.
But if I may recommend: get it out of your head that each reading needs to be a complete rendition, like a song fully rehearsed. Put it in your mind that you've got to spend a while practicing notes and chords, and maybe some musical theory. Let yourself have fun with the composite parts of reading, without worrying too much about the end result.

[Fragments of Magic] . No cover with this particular post just yet but I wanted to get one of these out there into the world! Now that I've done all my intro posts I'm floundering on what I should do next. I might take it easy for a bit while i decide. . Been testing the waters of getting back into book 2 draft 2 so that will probably end up being where today's energy is spent. . PS: when I say expanded elemental magic system I mean 12 full elements. ;)c

I don’t know what is compelling me to ask, but I badly want to know about your OCs!
Well of course you do :)
Problem is, I have over 600 OCs! It would be so incredibly hard for me to infodump about all 600 of them! In a manner that would be post-able on Tumblr!
SO under the break I'll give a quick breakdown of the... main stories/universes I have ^_^
You can also find my Toyhouse here! Folders are named and organized pretty thoroughly.
Tales of Astreus: Sci-fi, set in a near future of Earth. A small government has an empire that spans solar systems, and sentient species all over the galaxy fight back.
Main: Alex Cooper, a pilot to the Aegis Council, gets a small crew (Fuyuko, Valérie Blais) to complete a confidential mission. Months in, they get stopped by members of an Anti-Aegis organization (Kai Morgan, Knim) and have to work together as their ideals change. Space opera with a heist sub-plot.
Nekusasu: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Nexus androids and the Nekusasu corporation.
Clicks: Worldbuilding side story, expanding upon the Clicks, an insect-like species with strict social roles.
Ma'atsul: Three young adults with powers relating to the elements have to stop a god killer who may be the fourth, lost member of their group. Late medieval fantasy (Alamiel, The Arsonist, Samira, Star, as well as 12 gods).
Kamaria: Fuga, heir to a small clan, and Ayda, princess of the kingdom of Kamaria, have to defeat an existential threat. Fantasy, most recent and with the most development needed.
H(A)UNTING: Contemporary fantasy/supernatural/horror. A company, highly secretive, classifies Unnatural events under 10 (eventually, 11) different Marks: the Collective, the Confinement, the Crawl, the Deep, the Mimic, the Ruin, the Sickness, the Solitary, the Tempest, the Viscera, (The Watcher).
Pyre Point: Main story. A scientist (Faux) uncovers secrets to Unnatural biology and the Midnight corporation has internal disputes. (Ellen Ward, Elliot Philips, and many more)
The End: Two Watchers (Wormwood and Andromalius) have to stop the End of Everything before it happens. (Featuring the Horsemen of the Apocalypse)
Rotting Heartz: An Unnatural band and an alternate future to The End story, with a post-apocalyptic setting.
Fortuna: There's no way I can explain it in words. Image attached. (Fortune/Sachiel, Abel Wilbert, Elias Henderson, and Smiley)
Tumblr media
Deadly Sins: Set in a version of Hell, the Seven Deadly Sins personified have intertwined stories.
Alexandra: Moving for college, she encounters a family of vampires.
Sappho: Vampire from the early medieval age with a story spanning up to today.
My Property Isn't Normal: Based on the Reddit story of the same name.
Cowboys: Chris Sloan and Violet Noble butt heads in the american west while they try to uncover a mystery around the slaughter of the herd.
The Ocean: A pirate and a mermaid have a fateful meeting.
Animatronics: Less of a set world, and more of a collection of stories featuring animatronics.
Mythos' Diner: A story of familial tragedy and a continuing cycle of abuse, explored mostly through in-universe media and public reception, spanning 20+ years. An animatronic restaurant (similar to Chuck E. Cheese) themed around greek mythology. Lester Drakos, Harvey Lobos, Zero, and Aperes and the Muses.
Canidae: Originally a theme park in the 80s/90s, the characters were adapted into a cartoon in the early 2000s.
Feliforma: Competitor to Canidae Park, based on feliforms rather than canids.
Starlight: Contemporary fantasy. Maybe that's a strong descriptor... superheroes is more appropriate. Genetic mutations allow 10% of the population to have superpowers, and there are strict rules and regulations around who can become a superhero or supervillain.
Main: Kiran and Sasha are super rivals and romantically involved. A story about abuse and growth.
Epilogue: Post-main story, following high school aged supers and Kiran and Sasha's child.
Magical Girls: Not much in terms of names or character arcs, but magical girls who have to fight 7 Heavenly Virtues.
Many more miscellaneous supers...
Slasher: Again, less of a set world, and more a collection of different stories.
Shame: A group of college students find their deepest secrets and shames exposed by a ruthless killer.
Waterpark: Young adults spend their night in a closed waterpark, whilst being stalked by something.
Sunset Harbor, joint project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: A serial killer, infamous throughout the town, has a specific calling card. Copycat kills have been popping up recently, with people fearing of a twisted fanclub. College students are investigated regarding their alleged involvement.
Hound & Deer, also a join project with @/hellish-bone-monarch: Two slashers who are so so so sickly sweetly in love.
Garden of Eden: A retelling of the story through blogs and news sites.
Holmes: Retelling of Sherlock Holmes with contemporary characters.
Horror Game: No title as of yet, but two protagonists of different horror game genres are stuck together.
Space Rock Opera: No title as well, but a conceptual concert/stage play (think Halyx) that features space opera-type characters.
And MANY MANY MANY more miscellaneous characters without a specific story.

When Should You Worldbuild for Your Novel?
Tumblr media
Every year, we’re lucky to have great sponsors for our nonprofit events. World Anvil, a 2020 NaNo sponsor, is a writing software that helps you develop and organize your characters, plot and world setting. Today, World Anvil Director Janet Forbes shares some tips for worldbuilding at all stages of your novel:
As a writing and worldbuilding expert, and the director of the award-winning worldbuilding and novel writing software World Anvil, I get asked this question a lot: at which stage during the novel writing process should you be worldbuilding? Should you be worldbuilding as you plot, as you draft, or as you edit? And—I see you out there, you glorious pantsers—what if you don’t plot? When should you be worldbuilding?
A quick disclaimer & explanation:
EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT! (Isn’t it beautiful?) This post is full of suggestions. If in doubt, try things out! But not everything will work for everyone. Experiment with these ideas, and develop a novel writing process that works for you!
Some of the best worldbuilding articles are only a few sentences—just long enough to document your ideas! You’ll probably expand them a bit through the drafting process as you discover or decide more details. But don’t feel you have to write the entire “Silmarillion” for your world! Longer articles often just mean more to read through when you’re in a hurry.
When to worldbuild as a Plotter?
Are you a plotter? Prefer to take a run at a first draft with a solid plan? Then here are some of the best places to work worldbuilding into your novel writing method!
Worldbuild the big stuff during the plotting phase
As a plotter, a lot of the big worldbuilding ideas probably come as you plot your novel. You’ll need characters who live in settlements, and were probably educated in organizations. They may or may not adhere to certain traditions or religions. You might add magic systems,  supernatural powers, and/or futuristic technology (which you’ll need to know the limitations of!). Writing down your ideas NOW means that you have them safe, and won’t lose them!
Tumblr media
Worldbuilding your organizations, like Nations, Religions, Jedis, Police Forces and Universities, will help give them more impact, and make your world feel more dynamic and real!

If your novel is an event novel—aliens invade, the Earth quakes, or a zombie virus is let loose—then write a bit about the nature of the threat. If you’re creating a character novel, make sure you have some notes on your main character’s background, mentors, relationships, education and skills.
Worldbuilding these elements of your plot—even in just a few notes—before you start the first draft will really help you down the line! You can plan all of these out using the worldbuilding templates in World Anvil. They give you the freedom to create WHATEVER you want, help you connect everything together, and make everything searchable when you need it!
Worldbuilding during Draft 1—character experience and juicy details!
So, if you’re anything like me, you’ll probably find that something magical happens during your first draft. You start to consider your world through your character’s eyes! This means adding a lot of details to your worldbuilding—both SHOWING rather than TELLING, and sensory detail.
For example, you won’t tell your readers that an organization is evil. Instead, you can show a poor man in the stocks because he couldn’t afford his tithe or tax. Add that punishment to the  worldbuilding article about the evil organization, so you can remember it for later (or for book 2!).
Also, as your characters interact with places and people, they’ll feel, smell and hear (and maybe taste) details which heighten the experience. This makes your writing more evocative, and invites readers to feel they’re living in your novel, too!
Add these details—you can even copy-paste relevant paragraphs as quotes—into your worldbuilding articles. Some Plotters prefer to do this scene by scene as they write their first draft. Others (like me!) prefer to do this as a separate stage, once the first draft is done. Read through the first draft, and add quotations or details into your worldbuilding articles. Future-you will thank you!
Tumblr media
A fantastic example of a quick character profile! Hotlinks (shown here in red) help you link everything together in your world, so you can find things easily!

Worldbuilding as a Panster!
If you’d rather fly by the seat of your pants than plot out each step of your novel, then congratulations—you’re a Panster! You probably love the exciting feeling of discovering your story as you write your first draft. So here are some ways you can work worldbuilding into your novel writing process!
Characters are worldbuilding too!
Most pantsers I know love to craft characters, even if they don’t know what will happen to them over the course of the story! And characters are full to the brim with worldbuilding opportunities!
For example, the places your characters were born, went to school, travelled—they are all important locations to worldbuild in a few sentences. Which country is your character from? Do they fit in and, if not, which traditions or view points do they chafe against? These are all excellent places to start your worldbuilding, even before NaNoWriMo has started. You’ll still be pantsing—just Pantsing with Purpose!
And remember, none of these ideas are set in stone - you can always change them later. It’s just a jumping off point, to give you inspiration.
Tumblr media
Characters are worldbuilding too! Writing out a detailed character profile is a great way to discover more about your main character. World Anvil provides prompts to help you flesh out your characters even more.
Image Credit: Dhelian, created on World Anvil
Plan worldbuilding using the “Jot, Bin, Pants” method!
The Jot, Bin, Pants method (originally developed by Cassandra Lee Yieng) is a way to plan without plotting! Once you have those scenes, scan through them quickly. You’ll already spot elements you can write short worldbuilding articles about! If a scene takes place in a ship, a smart townhouse, or an abandoned castle, write a few sentences about that space. What material is it built from? What feelings does it conjure up?
Now you have a few notes on that location, you’ll be able to recapture the feeling much more quickly during crunch time, and get your words written!
Keep worldbuilding notes during Draft 1
Another helpful moment to make notes is at the end of each writing session during Draft 1. Try spending 5 minutes documenting the people, places and things you came up with. World Anvil’s tree layout can give you a lot of inspiration when you’re glancing over your setting to decide what should happen next! So if you mention a creature, a character, a location or a technology, scribble down a few notes about your ideas. You never know - it might save your character’s life!
Tumblr media
With World Anvil’s novel writing software, you can easily reference your worldbuilding and update your series bible either AS you write, or after each writing session!
The worldbuilding review phase
Regardless of Plotterism or Pantitude, you should eventually have Draft 1 of a book! Granted, it probably needs some tweaks right now. But there’s a story there, characters, ideas, and an ending. Congratulations!
Now is a great time to take stock of your worldbuilding. As you read through your novel, build up your world bible or series bible. Make sure you have articles for each major character, for the places and things you’ve introduced - just a few sentences is fine. But as you edit and flesh out your novel, these will be great references to have, and it’ll speed up the next phase no end!
Worldbuilding and Structural Edits
During structural edits, i.e. re-editing the actual story and big ideas of your book, you’ll find that keeping an updated version of your series bible is really useful! You can do this as you edit (which is what I prefer) or at the end of each draft.
By the time you’re at line edits, you’ll be done with your worldbuilding… and ready to get on with your novel’s sequel! And I can promise you - you’ll be thanking past-you for keeping such good worldbuilding notes in your Series Bible!

Part of the fun of these character builds is taking absolutely ridiculous characters and making them work in the context of D&D. So today I’ll be looking at Makuta Teridax, from Bionicle. That’s right, I’m expanding my palette a bit!
So Makuta Teridax is a Makuta. Which means he’s a shape-shifting robot with the elemental power of shadow, a unique shadow hand, a bit of telepathy, the ability to make Kraata and Rhakshi from himself... and, oh, fourty-two seperate Kraata Powers. Which he, himself, can also use. Also he has the mask of Shadows. Yeah, Bionicle was a wacky setting, all things told. Basically, we’re going to have to go Full Caster, with some unusual considerations.
Since we’re going Full Caster, that means we’ll be using the point buy system--all six stats start at 8, and you have 27 points to spend to up them, at a rate of 1 point for one improvement up to 13 and then 2 points per improvement after. That means upping a stat to 15 costs nine points total--and we’re going to be upping Intelligence and Wisdom to 15 to maximize our spell power. That leaves us nine points to split between Constitution and Charisma--five to Constitution, upping it to 13, because Constitution is both the ‘health’ and the ‘concentration’ stat, and 4 to Charisma, upping it to 12, because when a Makuta speaks, you listen. And Teridax is the leader of the Makuta...
Bionicle characters are biomechanical and you know what, so are Warforged! Yes I know the Makuta are actually living gas clouds in airtight armor but (1) they weren’t always that and (2) this is Flavor/Mechanics oriented, not accuracy oriented. Anyway, as an Envoy Warforged specifically, Teridax gets +1 to Constitution and +1 to two other stats--which are of course going to be Intelligence and Wisdom, since those are going to be our casting abilities.
All Warforged have Integrated Protection--instead of wearing armor, they can switch between ‘modes’ they’re proficient in every long rest, great for a shapeshifter. There’s also Warforged Resilience, which makes him immune to disease, resistant to poison, renders eating and drinking and even breathing unnecessary, and makes him impossible to put to sleep magically. Speaking of which he also has Sentry’s rest, which means on a long rest he just goes inert for six hours without going unconscious.
Envoy Warforged in particular have a few other advantages. Their Specialized Design gives them a Skill Proficiency and a Tool Proficiency, and since we’re not going to get it anywhere else Teridax is going to pick Intimidation and Thieves’ tools. And they have an Integrated Tool--they can select one tool they’re proficient with, and not only is it part of their body but they have expertise with it. I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler to say that the tool, in this case, is a Disguise Kit--because Teridax is going to get proficiency in disguise kits from his background.
And what background is that? Why, Charlatan, of course! Free with proficiencies in Deception, Sleight of Hand, Disguise Kits, and Forgery Kits. It also has the False Identity feature, allowing Makuta Teridax to take on another persona (like say, Turaga Dume), and have all the paperwork on hand to prove that, no really, he’s Turaga Dume! Pay no attention to that sphere in the corner. He’s also really great at forgery of documents.
And now comes the tricky bit: getting 42 Kraata powers, plus all the other abilities Teridax has, onto a spell list. Doing that meant I had to multiclass, pick specific subclasses for each class, allow each class to meet a minimum level, and amp two different stats to their max. It was incredibly tricky, but through some very, VERY careful selection, I pulled it off. Mostly. The Elasticity Kraata Power just couldn’t fit, sorry about that. But everything else, I packed in! Are you ready for this?
Three levels in Tempest Domain Cleric...
...then seventeen levels in Nature Theurgy Wizard.
Okay, so before I explain the subclasses, I’m going to go over the standard class abilities. Clerics have proficiency in light and medium armor, shields and simple weapons, and Wisdom and Charisma saving throws. They get two skill proficiencies--I chose History and persuasion--and at three levels their big thing is just... Channel Divinity. Which I’ll get to in a moment.
Wizards, on the other hand, get Arcane Recovery, which lets them regain spell slots on a short rest once per day up to a total of half their wizard level rounded up. That’s 9 points here, so you can get three third level spell slots, or a fourth and a fifth, or five first and two second... but you can’t get seventh, eighth, or ninth spell slots back, presumably for balance reasons. The Wizard class is also where we’ll get our four Ability Score Increases, for a total of eight points to spread among ability scores--and putting four each in Wisdom and Intelligence lets us have the MAXIMUM SPELL POWER for this combination. Trust me, preparing Spells is important for clerics, and for wizards.
So now let’s talk about the Tempest Domain. Teridax gets proficiency in Heavy Armor and Martial Weapons from it, as well as Wrath Of The Storm--which means if somebody rushes in and hits him, he can use a reaction to force the creature to make a dexterity saving throw or suffer 2d8 Lightning/Thunder damage. And he can do this five times per long rest. Of course, it also gives him a Channel Divinity option; once per rest, Teridax can either Turn Undead (making them run away from him in fear), Harness Divine Power (regaining a spell slot of first, second, or third level), or unleash the power of a Destructive Wave (automatically rolling maximum for Lightning or Thunder damage).
And now... Theurgy Wizard. What does it do, you might ask? Well, it basically hybridizes Cleric and Wizard classes. A Theurgy Wizard takes a Cleric Domain--in this case, Nature--and those spells are considered Wizard spells for purposes of what they can learn. They also get some of the Domain’s cleric benefits--not the eighth level one, or any weapon or armor proficiencies from the first level, but at level seventeen, they have everything else.
Including Channel Arcana, which is slightly different from Channel Divinity. For one thing, Teridax can do it twice per rest, instead of just once. For another, the options are either Divine Arcana, giving +2 to his next spell’s attack roll or save DC, or Charm Animals and Plants, which... charms animals and plants within 30 feet for up to a minute.
Acolyte of Nature means that Teridax has proficiency in Animal Handling and a single druid Cantrip, which we’ll get back to in a moment. Dampen Elements means that, as a reaction, he can give himself or anybody in 30 feet resistance to an attack that hit them if that attack did acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage--very useful in a world where a good portion of the population has elemental powers. And Master of Nature means that he can take a bonus action to tell critters that are charmed by his Channeled Arcana what to do on their next turn.
And now, at last, we get to the spells. BUT FIRST! Let’s calculate this all out. Since Clerics and Wizards are both full casters, Teridax has all the spell slots--4 first level slots, 3 second-through-fifth level slots each, 2 sixth and seventh level slots, and one slot for eighth and ninth levels.
Clerics can prepare a number of spells equal to their level plus their Wisdom modifer--so 3+5--up to a level determined by their cleric level--in this case, up to second level. They also automatically have spells prepared from their domain, which don’t count toward the previous limit; while it’s only up to the level they can learn, it’s still an extra four spells.
Wizards, on the other hand, learn six spells at first level and two spells every level thereafter, so at level 17 that’s 38 spells. Granted, they only prepare their level plus their intelligence bonus a day, which is 22 spells from that 38 spell list, but hey! That’s on top of the 12 prepared spells of a cleric
And Teridax also has five Wizard Cantrips, 3 Cleric Cantrips, and 1 Druid Cantrip from Nature Theurgy. Which segues well into why I picked Nature Theurgy--I needed a LOT of wizard levels for most of these spells, but I also needed some Cleric levels for some spells wizards couldn’t get, and some Druid spells that neither class could get on their own. And most of the low-level spells I needed that come in a cleric domain actually are from the tempest domain, but the Nature domain has high-level spells from the druid list... hence, Nature Theurge.
So with all that said: The list below covers the spells Makuta Teridax has, and what abilities they correspond to. Spells from Cleric, Cleric Domain, or Druid List use Wisdom; Spells from Wizard or Wizard Theurgy list use Intelligence. The listed Cleric spells are considered always prepared; Teridax selects 22 of the listed Wizard and Theurgy spells every long rest.
The Makuta Power Shadow Hand has 2 component spells: Lightning Lure and Soul Cage. The Makuta Powers Project Voice Through Shadows and Telepathy have the same spell: Telepathy.
The Kraata Power Density Control has 2 component spells: Gaseous Form and Investiture of Stone. The Kraata Power Insect Control has 2 component spells: Infestation and Insect Plague. The Kraata Power Plant Control has 2 component spells: Plant Growth and Grasping Vine. The Kraata Power Rahi Control has 2 component spells: Animal Friendship and Dominate Beast. The Kraata Power Weather Control has 2 component spells: Control Weather and Fog Cloud.
The Kraata Power Stasis Field has 2 component spells: Hold Person and Hold Monster. The Kraata Power Teleportation has 2 component Spells: Misty Step and Teleportation.
The Kraata Powers Fire Resistence and Ice Resistance have the same spell: Protection from Energy. The Kraata Power Elasticity has no component spells, due to not really having a good match and most of its benefits being covered in other spells.

9th-1 Slots -Invulnerability [Wizard] [Concentration] --Limited Invulnerability (Kraata Power) -Shapechange [Wizard] [Concentration] --Shapeshifting (Kraata Power)
And I mean... LOOK AT THAT LIST OF SPELLS. It’s ridiculous. Bionicle is an amazing setting, sure, but this is insane! Even if Teridax burns through all his spells, he’s still got nine cantrips--NINE! With a lot of effects! That he can use to attack the petty heroes coming after him.
So yeah, that’s Makuta Teridax.

Hi.....if you don't mind me asking, what are your top 10 favorite books? And why? Sorry if you've answered this question before....
This is an interesting question, and a difficult one! Which is why I let it steep for a few days while I was in a bookbinding fugue, haha XD
I’m not sure I’ll be able to answer it, because my level of fondness is highly dependent on how recently I read a book/how many times I’ve reread it, with an optional nostalgia modifier if something made a huge impression in my youth. And when I’m picking favorites, as the number of potential [thing] expands, the more I end up dithering and fretting that I’m forgetting something HUGE as I choose. So rather than a selection of top ten, I’ll just run down through some of my favorites! I’ll split it as five cnovels (recent reads, current genre hyperfixation) and five more conventional english-language novel (realistically, probably more like series, unless a standalone book occurs to me), and I’m not going to rank the conventional novels.
SO. Regular novels first. There’s a heavy recently-read/frequently-reread element going on in here.
The Imperial Radch trilogy, by Ann Leckie. Okay, I am a sucker for a nonhuman protagonist, which is going to pop up in at least two other entries. And I’m also a sucker for themes of what can be perceived about a person externally versus their internal world, and Breq delivers like WHOA. She has SO MUCH going on in her head, and even though we’re in there with her, she still hides lots of her emotions from us. And characters like Seivarden hit me in character development buttons that I’m a sucker for, and the whole idea of consciousness being split across multiple bodies is DELICIOUS to me. Also... love me a sentient spaceship. ‘The Ship Who X’ series by Anne McCaffrey isn’t going to make this list, but I also love it a lot. (also, a universe of ‘she’s made me realized how STARVED i was for that degree of representation in certain genres that i love a lot, but don’t often see myself in as often as i might like)
The Murderbot series, by Martha Wells. Another nonhuman, sometimes-human-passing protagonist! Another one processing MASSIVE trauma of a sort that I, the human reader, have to slow down a lot and try to comprehend from an extremely different life experience! I like that a lot, it really forces me to LINGER on the nature of what a character is feeling. And oh my god, Murderbot’s voice is one of my favorite pov voices of all time. And watching it work (or go hogwild on its own asdfdgd) is absolutely delightful. I love literally everything about this series, except what happened with Miki. Other than that? Flawless.
The Books Of The Raksura, by Martha Wells. Martha Wells is a DELIGHT, y’all. Also! Another heavily-traumatized, nonhuman protagonist! And this time, like... It’s a fantasy world with huge amounts of sentient species, and the protagonist grew up away from his people, who are basically a bunch of feral homesteaders (LOVE THAT), and is trying to figure out how to reintegrate into their societal structures as an adult. That desperate desire to belong and feeling of discomfort and not-fitting-in, and the connections he makes and the way he DOES find a way to fit... like if u crey every time. Also, as far as we’re shown, it’s a cheerfully bisexual, polyamorous society, and *grabby hands*
Discworld, by Terry Pratchett. God, what do I even say about this series. It was a PARADIGM SHIFT. It’s bitingly funny, and also just plain biting, and full of huge varieties of interesting stories, set in a fascinating world, with a series of protagonists who I love too much for words. Vimes! The witches! Moist!!! They’re all so WONDERFUL. I still haven’t read the last book in the series yet, because then it will be Over Forever, and I can’t deal. This one is heavily nostalgia-tinted, but also, I stand by it.
The Belgariad/Mallorean, by David Eddings. Okay. Also very nostalgia, and the choice I can justify the least. But these books CLICKED with me. I’m afraid to reread them, because I’ve been wallowing in queer fiction for so long I’m worried about what the compulsory heterosexuality will feel like, and I know both series are very... episodic, in a way that isn’t necessarily great literature. But I dunno! Feels good, man. It’s high fantasy with a magical system I like, segmented worldbuilding of a sort that isn’t necessarily WELL-MADE, but it’s like... comfortable and easy. And something about the style and the character voices just clicks with me. I have no idea how well these hold up in the present day, but I do love them, and I’ve been planning to reread at least The Redemption Of Althalus by the same author as a standalone before I commit to a 12-book rereading of this universe, but.... I like em XD
--
Cnovels! I think I can rank these, so let’s go for it.
Fifth favorite: The Disabled Tyrant’s Pet Palm Fish :B Look, it’s ridiculous. It’s a transmigration story where the lead enters this fictional universe in the body of a fish, where he is adopted by a prince who eventually falls in love with him, and YES IT IS TAGGED MPREG, BUT HOLD ON A MOMENT-- I don’t know! I came here to point and laugh, but I’m honestly having such a good time right now. It’s really cute! And sweet! The main character is delightful, and the love interest is that particular flavor of semi-socialized upper-class young man, where like, can he do court politics? yes. can he politely express his affections for the main character? uh....... less so. It’s a really fun read, and I felt very sincere emotions about this prince who is passionately, deeply in love with his pet fish!
Fourth favorite: Mmmmmm, Mo Dao Zu Shi, I think. I struggle here, because it is NOT an easy book to read or show to watch, but having consumed the story, I love it to PIECES. I know a big draw for me is the protagonist, specifically, and his relationships to the people around him. And the more I cared about him, the more I wound up caring about the people around him, who I’d kind of neglected before, if that makes sense? It’s a story that really rewards some good old pondering. I didn’t care that much about Lan Xichen, but then I started thinking about how Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji relate to Lan Xichen, and then oh no, I care SO MUCH about his emotions, and now I’m thinking more deeply about how Lan Xichen relates to Jin Guangyao and Nie Mingjue-- It does lose points in this ranking because it IS hard to get into, and I would struggle to keep everyone straight even more if I didn’t have the show visuals to lean on, but it is still story I enjoyed VERY much.
Third favorite: Erha, but I feel REALLY, REALLY BAD that I can’t fit Yuwu on this list too, and I just want to loop them together. It’s time travel fixit fic, but it’s the book! Yes????? I love this. I love the striking character growth we get to see, and the changing perception of the world as the main character relives through events he already experienced and sees things in a new light, and I adore how Mo Ran’s growing guilt goes hand in hand with his growing love. And Meatbun in general... like, my god. I haven’t read another author who’s able to yank me through emotional whiplash so hard and fast. She makes me hoot with laughter one moment and then burst into tears the next. It’s absolutely wild. I love mxtx, and I think svsss/tgcf are gentler entry points into the genre and deal with lighter themes, but meatbun is seriously an UNBELIEVABLE writer if you can deal with the darker topics she covers.
Second favorite: The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System :V Look, I love it. I just love it. I love, again, characters dealing with the aftereffects of old trauma, plus I do also love seeing NEW trauma piled on top of it. I love having a main character with emotional dysregulation issues who doesn’t necessarily make good decisions, but doesn’t just leave me thinking ‘jfc what an asshole’, and I think that’s a really hard balance for an author to strike, especially without us getting direct pov. I love themes of being wanted and insecurity about being wanted, which is Luo Binghe’s major, major damage. And this is my first transmigration story I ever read, and the contrast between a main character who read the novel telling us about what’s totally going to happen versus the ground shifting under his feet is INCREDIBLY delightful to me. I’ve read other transmigration stories I enjoyed, but none that got my attention quite as much as this one.
First favorite: Tian Guan Ci Fu ;u; It’s so good. It’s so well-made! It’s so LONG, and it meanders, but also, I would scream if anyone tried to trim anything out of it. I am here a lot for the ship, honestly, but I also find the plot themes VERY interesting. I am very much here for reading about characters trying to process old trauma that’s been dredged up by new events, and also very here for the themes about how characters either pass their traumas along to the next generation, or try to shield the next generation from taking the same kind of damage (see: mdzs). And I’m also very much into tempering stories about pain with like... memories of kindness, and small acts of kindness repaid with an outpouring of devotion (see: svsss). But the craftsmanship in this book is just... DIVINE. I’m always reluctant to start rereading this one, because I have a terrible time stopping. There’s nothing about this book that I don’t like.
