Strokmatic Design System
Justificativa
-> Novos produtos.
-> Desenvolvimento Front/Backend -> Comercial/Marketing -> Engenharia -> Ciência de Dados

Hi! How do you feel with the new pack's custom tattoos tool? Since you've made previously some tattoos - how possible it would be to create something like those but using the new tools? (Not a request or anything, just being curious about your opinion!!)
Hi! I'm happy to see that the new system offers wider customisation options. I highly doubt that I'd be able to create any designs with the same level of fidelity that I'd typically opt for when working in Procreate or Figma, but I'd need to try out the new tools first!

Figma disabled the feature, named Make Design, after CEO and cofounder of Not Boring Software Andy Allen tweeted images showing that asking it to make a “weather app” produced several variations of apps that looked almost identical to Apple’s default weather app. “Within hours of seeing this tweet, we identified the issue, which was related to the underlying design systems that were created..."
CEO is shocked, simply shocked, that his plagiarism machine plagiarized existing software designs. The very designs its LLM was trained on.
"We trained this play generator on all the works of William Shakespeare but now it only writes plays that sound like Shakespeare?! Please advise"
Unfuckingbelievable.

Which tools every UIUX designer must master?
Gaining proficiency with the appropriate tools can greatly improve your workflow and design quality as a UI/UX designer. The following are some tools that any UI/UX designer has to know how to use:
1. Design Tools:
Figma: One of the most popular and versatile design tools today. It’s web-based, allowing real-time collaboration, and great for designing interfaces, creating prototypes, and sharing feedback.
Sketch: A vector-based design tool that's been the go-to for many UI designers. It's particularly useful for macOS users and has extensive plugins to extend its capabilities.
Adobe XD: Part of Adobe's Creative Cloud, this tool offers robust prototyping features along with design functionalities. It’s ideal for those already using other Adobe products like Photoshop or Illustrator.
2. Prototyping & Wireframing:
InVision: Great for creating interactive prototypes from static designs. It’s widely used for testing design ideas with stakeholders and users before development.
Balsamiq: A simple wireframing tool that helps you quickly sketch out low-fidelity designs. It’s great for initial brainstorming and wireframing ideas.
3. User Research & Testing:
UserTesting: A platform that allows you to get user feedback on your designs quickly by testing with real users.
Lookback: This tool enables live user testing and allows you to watch users interact with your designs, capturing their thoughts and reactions in real time.
Hotjar: Useful for heatmaps and recording user sessions to analyze how people interact with your live website or app.
4. Collaboration & Handoff Tools:
Zeplin: A tool that helps bridge the gap between design and development by providing detailed specs and assets to developers in an easy-to-follow format.
Abstract: A version control system for design files, Abstract is essential for teams working on large projects, helping manage and merge multiple design versions.
5. Illustration & Icon Design:
Adobe Illustrator: The industry standard for creating scalable vector illustrations and icons. If your design requires custom illustrations or complex vector work, mastering Illustrator is a must.
Affinity Designer: An alternative to Illustrator with many of the same capabilities, but with a one-time payment model instead of a subscription.
6. Typography & Color Tools:
FontBase: A robust font management tool that helps designers preview, organize, and activate fonts for their projects.
Coolors: A color scheme generator that helps designers create harmonious color palettes, which can be exported directly into your design software.
7. Project Management & Communication:
Trello: A simple project management tool that helps you organize your tasks, collaborate with team members, and track progress.
Slack: Essential for team communication, Slack integrates with many design tools and streamlines feedback, updates, and discussion.

Week 6
This was last February 26. The first thing we did was Sir Carl prepared a game for us called "Rebus Puzzles", it is an ice breaker game because early in the morning Sir Carl noticed that some of us were sleepy and maybe not yet ready to engage with the new topics. After that, Sir Carl proceeded to our new topic which is all about the UI/UX design in Figma for us to prepare for our system.

After the discussion, another group activity was given and this activity was to identify which good and bad designs are and to manipulate, and provide solutions like suggesting another feature for that specific design to look even better. That activity was good and essential for us to be able to know what designs, colors, fonts, font sizes, or other features we should put in our design to look more engaging.

okee my performance eval is in my portal so i wanted to make a little thing i can reference when i'm Going Through It...i'm not putting my worth in my job, trust me, but some of these compliments are just...they're a lot more thoughtful than "she works hard" lol
here's some copy/pasted quotes in no particular order, starting with some project-specific stuff:
Her adaptability, technical initiative and rapid progress were critical to delivering a fully functioning, design system-based theme that will be used campus-wide. Her efforts were essential to the success of this project.
Not only did [NAME] help deliver the core WordPress theme with no prior experience in PHP, but she simultaneously designed and help develop a child theme specifically for the [REDACTED] site. She was able to manage this while the content for the [REDACTED] site was still in flux, requiring her to adapt quickly to evolving design, front-end and backend needs. Despite these shifting requirements and tight deadlines, [NAME] consistently delivered high-quality, pixel-perfect design comps, implemented front-end CSS and executed backend integration when needed with impressive speed and efficiency.
[NAME] has demonstrated exceptional performance and leadership in her role and is the primary contributor to the design system. Among a team of five contributors, she has resolved more than 65% of all GitHub tickets, including both bugs and feature requests. Her involvement spans the full product lifecycle--contributing to ideation, design, front-end development with pixel precision, and CMS integration.
and here's some general comments:
[NAME] has been a critical asset to the success of the team by leading the design and being a lead developer for the [REDACTED] UX Web Design System and related projects. She has maintained the design and front-end development of system components, maintained the Figma library and provided consistent support to campus teams through training, documentation and office hours. Despite no prior experience in PHP, she quickly learned and contributed significantly to building and launching the WordPress theme and a custom [REDACTED] child theme. Her strong work ethic, adaptability and attention to detail ensured high-quality, accessible and brand-compliant work under tight deadlines. [NAME]'s impact has been campus-wide and her contributions have been instrumental in advancing design system adoption and execution.
[NAME] demonstrates a strong sense of accountability by taking full ownership of her work and consistently delivering high-quality results. She follows through on commitments, meets deadlines even under tight timelines and holds herself to a high standard of accuracy and consistency--particularly in design, accessibility, usability and brand compliance. Her reliability has made her a go-to team member on high-impact projects, and her attention to detail ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.
[NAME] consistently demonstrates initiative by proactively identifying needs, taking ownership of complex tasks and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. She exceeded expectations by independently learning PHP to contribute to backend development and took the lead on critical design system components without being asked. Her ability to self-direct, anticipate challenges and follow through has made her a reliable and trusted contributor across every phase of a project.
and the overall comment/rating:
[NAME] has consistently exceeded expectations in her role, demonstrating exceptional initiative and accountability. As the lead developer to the [REDACTED] UX Web Design System, she has driven the design, development and support of system components with precision and care, resolving more than 65% of all GitHub tickets. Her proactive approach, technical adaptability and attention to accessibility and usability have made her indispensable to both the internal team and the broader campus community. She takes full ownership of her work, delivers high-quality results with minimal supervision and regularly supports others. Her impact is visible across every facet of the project lifecycle-from frontend and backend development to design system adoption and campus-wide implementation.
there were plenty of other positive comments but these were some that really stood out to me. sometimes it's nice to be reminded that i'm smort :^)

Week 1 Day 3 - At Ian's Housee
Working the Papers and Visualization of our website, "Peak Up" at Ian Bagotsay's Residence
So today, January 18 (Saturday), we all gathered at Kuya Ian's house to start making the papers and visualization of "Peak Up"

Loraine (Lompia) took on the task of creating our website’s logo, bringing fresh ideas to the table. She showed us several designs, each with its own charm. After some tweaking of details here and there, we finally found the one.
Our Very Own Logo!!
This logo felt just right; it is simple, clear, and a perfect reflection of what our website stands for.
Meanwhile, Rona, Edrian, and I (Edther) focused on gathering the RRLs. I was surprised by how many recent studies there are on ordering and queueing systems in university cafeterias. It turns out there’s a wealth of literature we can use for our paper!
Group picture of us working on our PIT:

Kuya Ian took charge of visualizing our website using Figma, and when he showed us his work, all I could say was, “WOW.” Even though it was just a basic draft, he had fun with the process—sneaking in the faces of some of our fellow computer engineering students for a playful touch.
Kuya Ian's Website Visualization:
Since it was already late, we decided to order dinner from Jollibee through Foodpanda. The food arrived quickly, and we dug in before getting back to work.
We went back working again after eating, I added more RRL and polished my RRL section as well as edited my tumblr blog.
Little by little, our website and paper are coming together nicely.
I’m grateful to have such reliable teammates by my side!

Have you read and/or watched Chainsaw Man? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Could you give us a little review please? :3

(Spoilers for the CSM manga below)
It's dope. The series is still ongoing so I can't piece together anything definitive, but Chainsaw Man is evidence of that idiosyncrasy surviving in a commercial context that I'm always moaning about. It's a work with a deliberate tone, a pool of influences beyond the orthodox Kinnikuman progeny that have shaped the genre for the last half century. That first point is the crucial thing, it houses an expansive tone. All the scatological humor and graphic excess sits easily with, enlivens the moments of emotional heft, the celebration of persons excluded from the orderly functions of social life.

Denji is motivated almost exclusively by cretinous impulses. Heroic violence animated by the idea that maybe someone will want to play with his worm afterwards. It's a good refrain from the extremes of altruism that inform nearly all shonen operatics. Asa... pioneering femcel representation. She's going to refer to herself as a 'femoid' by the end of the series. Not bad.
The devil designs are loaded with the sauce, but I also love Fujimoto's slightly stiff/inexpressive human figures. When Hiroaki Samura rightly guessed that this was influenced from Tsutomu Nihei's early work I did "pogchamp" in real life. They're restrained in a way that allows both devils and miscellaneous gore their maximal effect. The scene of flapping entrails whenever Denji explodes out from some hapless devil, and all the repetitions of consumption and expulsion. It's an understanding of the body not as a lively nervous system enclosed in soft tissue, but an uninterrupted pathway from mouth to anus. They're making figmas of a character who canonically refuses to flush her shits down the toilet. Pretty good.

I think that part one is a complete thematic statement and the series was probably not intended to continue past that point until it moved enough volumes to account for an anime adaptation charged with the disintegrating musculoskeletal systems of various MAPPA staff. Part two is still engaging with interesting ideas, only it suffers in that it can't reconstruct the emotional grounding produced around Denji's faux-family dynamic with Aki and Power. The metatextual element is interesting but in a duller, intellectual sense- it can't compensate the emotive effect that elevates the series above bold grindhouse experiment. I've only felt that recede wherever the focus lights on Denji, which is a little sad. But the narrative is nearing the same point where the first part really exploded, so I'm excited to see how this evaluation doesn't hold up at all a year from now.
It's pat to assume the authors of strange or idiosyncratic works are themselves somehow deviant, but the fact that Fujimoto has been running a twitter account where he pretends to be his own little sister for the better part of a decade makes me think he is actually fucking insane. A career to watch out for.

are there any other jump protagonists that are confirmed jack-offers. I only have denji and leorio on the board
