Wide open at f/3.5 and 55mm equivalent, the whole troupe was easily kept in focus with the relatively generous depth of field of a one-inch sensor. The surroundings were toned down and darkened a little in post.

Singapore Gardens by the Bay

Second part of a unexpected day in Singapore, due to delays travelling between New Zealand and Nepal. I walked 25km in the heat and humidity to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens in the morning, and Gardens by the Bay in the afternoon. This was taken from Bay East Garden across the bay, the better part of which is undergoing re-development by the way. Exposure was biased darker by 1-1/3 stops to retain highlight details. In post, the shadows and highlights were then tweaked to get this final image.
