Soren and Aanya friendship.

At the Stormspire, Soren was the only person who didn't seem to really mind that she was royalty. He would treat her almost the same exact way he treated Ezran. Soren didn't treat her like she was fragile, he would just treat her like a kid.

His actions caused plenty of her Guards to almost have heart attacks but Aanya liked it. She liked being treated like she was just a kid instead of a Queen. It made her time at the Stormspire incredibly fun. Soren would carry her on his shoulders as they searched for Ezran and Zym, occasionally Corvus whenever he could(which was basically every other day).

They end up becoming friends because of it. If anything, Aanya sees Soren as a big brother.

I'm honestly so baffled at the amount of biphobia from other queers ?? Idk if I'm just naive, friends with the right peoples or it's something cultural, but irl i never encountered such blatant casual biphobia ??? Bi erasure, sure it happens, and that's something to be aware of. But such casual bigotry, accidental or not, from other queer people is shocking to me- but then again I'm not bi so that's not something I ever experienced myself.

I will continue making sapphic (and non sapphic) art, and I hope you'll always feel included :)

Post S3. Steve — inspired by how out of shape the kids were, knowing they're about to enter highschool territory and will need even better stamina to protect themselves from bullies, and it's just good for them — harasses the party into doing morning cross-country style runs. 

At first they obviously try to get out of it. But once Steve starts withholding their chauffeur privileges for a week per run they miss and proves that he means it, they begrudgingly go along with it.

Steve’s not mean about it. He doesn’t push them to run particularly fast or for excruciatingly long distances. As long as they keep themselves moving, he’s happy about it. 

Of course even better are the few days where he’s able to convince Max to join them — usually through promised milkshakes afterwards. 

She never jogs with them, instead skateboarding either behind them all or taunting them from in front. Which again — Steve’s just happy she’s out in the sun with them. And if the boys are too out of breath to try and strike up any kind of conversation with her when she’s not in the mood for it, then it’s all the better.

Robin’s a special case. She is, of course, her own adult (as much as you can be at their age, anyway) and Steve loves her like no other, his Platonic Soulmate capital ‘P’. But Steve’s now finished his third round of Upside Down dealings, and he’ll be damned if he leaves her to deal with the aftermath all on her own. (Like he may have felt back in the beginning, but he doesn’t often like to acknowledge those particular feelings).

So when the Underground Bunker and Torture flavored nightmares finally start to make their appearance, Steve knows just the solution. 

Much like the kids, it takes some convincing. Especially considering it’s nearly the middle of the night. 

But Robin’s much more willing to indulge his jock tendencies. And once they get going, having snuck out Robin’s thankfully ground-floor window, she starts to see the benefit. Simultaneously releasing the body of its flight-or-fight adrenaline rush and helping to get them out of their heads.

She still hates the actual running part of it. Bemoans every time they come back covered in sweat (okay so mainly just Robin, Steve’s only “lightly damp” by his own words). 

Yet Robin is the one to suggest moving their runs to the daytime as they slowly recover from Starcourt. Slowly able to get a proper night’s rest again. 

Eventually it almost just becomes habit to quick change, grab their drinks, and go for a lap around the downtown shops if they both get off shift before the sun sets. 

And if a certain unsuspecting metalhead happens to keep almost walking into signposts whenever the two of them jog past, well, Robin’s entitled to a little free entertainment. ;)

Dollsuka concept sketches because I refuse to work on driving lessons

(I didnt draw an outfit for the burst because I had too many outfits in mind and too little patience to try out any of them.)

Be nice, I know they’re messy 😞

Side Notes:

1) The outfit on the left is based on his much earlier outfit. The belts are just there. Everyone needs a belt somehow.

(Source: I know so. Maybe. Probably not.)

2) The second outfit is loosely based off of overture AND xrd. I tried giving him some sort of ethereal look whilst keeping what I thought looked good (and what my attention span could afford to draw. You are free to debate on this or give constructive criticism since I like this outfit more and am currently learning how to draw more details.

3) On the second image (Reaction concept for Bone-Crushing Excitement), that’s not facial hair. That’s his face cracking from trying to express the pain (or just scream. Who knows). The body is strong, but emotions are stronger (i say this with a severe resting bitch face. Don’t trust me on this one/j)

4) The idea for the burst is magic flows through the doll (or something I’M STILL DEBATING AND BRAINSTORMING LORE AND EVERYTHING PLEASE BARE WITH ME I HAVEN’T WRITTEN AN AU SINCE MY UNDERTALE PHASE 😭😭😭) and his body goes kablooey because. It’s a burst. Yeah.

Lore Prompts:

1) Asuka’s body was simply too weak to contain the tome so he made a vessel for himself and sealed himself inside and (obviously) stored the tome in the doll. The puppet strings act as restraints if the magic overwhelms the body in a fight.

(add-on to 1 - the doll has its own sentience similar to Asuka’s — if he is too weak to pilot the body, the consciousness and control shifts to the doll.)

2) A comically fake Asuka. Need to lessen a workload somehow? Throw Dollsuka! Need something on Earth and the clones are too busy teaching each other how to be more Asuka than Asuka? Throw Dollsuka! Don’t want to be there for his coworkers’ next fuck-around-and-find-out opportunities but need something to take note of? Dollsuka!

(Basically just a joke to tell people if they ask why I made him)

3) A doll with a fake tome (or notes, idk) inside of its body, controlled by Asuka with the combination of magic and technological tweaks (the puppet strings) as it travels around Earth for research and to gather information as time passes. Through research, it gains understanding and eventually grasps its own “sentience.”

Perhaps it will be drawn into ruin like someone before him.

Can I just say that I feel it’s a little odd that the Mystic Seller just rips Narinder from whatever afterlife he went to just to give him up as a prize?

I get that game-play wise this was to allow people who chose to kill him post-battle access to a unique follower that would have been unobtainable before, but story-wise it just has me like ??? Why did they do that???
