how you doing inky? not well. why? because im having gortash thoughts that never cease.
he plays it cool when meeting dark urge again, but i know that man was in pieces when orin walked her annoying ass up and announced she's taking over for bhaal.
mans was holding flowers behind his back, ready to celebrate their fifth month of being "in cahoots" and he just >> oh. then goes home and sits there, wondering if its something he did. mans lying on his bed, hiring a personal bard to sing sad love songs in the corner of his room. writing in his diary, crossing out all the "durge gorthash" "duke enver urge" "The Urges."
The first time I saw these guys was back in comic form, and now that I've picked up the game "In Stars and Time", I've fallen in love all over again. Fantastic work as always to the creator @insertdisc5 !
I'm still chipping away at the game, but man I'm loving it so far.
Woke up this morning to realizing the parallels between Bruce and Jason in Gotham Knights, specifically their deaths.
So, aside from the obvious death and resurrection via a Lazarus Pit and involving Talia, there's another thing.
Now, I don't know the specifics of Jason's death in Gotham Knights, just that the Joker killed him and Talia revived him, but I'm going on the assumption that it's similar to the comics. Jason went to Ethiopia to find his mom who betrayed him to the Joker and was brutally beaten before being blown up in a warehouse.
But think about it, Bruce was moments too late to rescue him, arriving to find a destroyed building still on fire and having to sift through the rubble to find the corpse of his son.
Ya know, that sounds familer...
Jason (and the others) arrive moments too late to rescue him, finding their home destroyed and still on fire, sifting through the rubble to find the corpse of their father.
And it just makes me think, did Jason ever think that this might be how Bruce felt after he died? Was Bruce this angry and sad too? How did he carry on?
The more I play and think about this game the more I realize how much of a masterpiece it is.
This is the farmer and his husband, Sam, and his husband's boyfriend Sebastian, and his husband's boyfriend's girlfriend Abigail, and his husband's girlfriend Penny, and his husband's girlfriend's girlfriend Maru, and his husband's girlfriend's girlfriend's boyfriend Harvey. Also, the farmer has something going on with this little freak in the sewers, not sure what that's all about but Krobus seems pleasant.
Guys HELP, where has this been all my life?! I'm sobbing 😭🤣 SOUND ON so you hear Arthur's adorable "what!" over and over. There's another similar event that I'll post later, too. I can't believe I've never seen this in 12 years.
Ghost Trick moments that hit different on a replay
Arranged tiny so it's hard to accidentally get spoilers because you do NOT want this game spoiled
(I lost track of where it was but I also had a screenshot of Sissel commenting "When I see something balanced on a shelf like that, it makes me want to just knock it down!" which is a tip for the puzzle but also AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA)
Man, DRA/SDRA2 has been in my head since like, I dunno, August of 2023 (probably before that). I've drew so much of it, but like out of the many of them I've drawn, this one I felt the most confidence in.
