I know i was really inactive lately, but to be honest i didn't had the creative motivation to make HB edits.

A major redesign (logo, banner, etc) change can be expected in the near future (This applies to HeartPulse BLUE too)

It is likely that I will be using AI generated images more in the future. I know a lot of people will condemn this, but it's still better than having to worry about being reported by the original creator of an image. This does not mean that I completely dich the use of non-AI generated images in edits, but I try to reduce their amount. There is already an edit in the works, in which I use a non-AI generated image. A little spoiler: It has a knife

I see so many people say that Blitzø doesn't feel any guilt or remorse for robbing Verosika in the past, that he willingly goes out of his way to publicly humiliate her for no reason, and that he doesn't take any accountability for his past actions, and it baffles me to no end.

There are many bad HB takes that make me say "Are we watching the same show?" but this is the one i've been wanting to talk about lately.

Blitzø never denies or corrects what Verosika says about him. He says "Goddammit w**re, you will NOT let that go!" Implying that he DID do it. His bad trip in Truth Seekers shows her not only angry at him for pushing people away when they try to get close to him, but he doesn't retaliate. He doesn't even respond. He just has a look of regret on his face when she calls him out.

That broken heart on her cheek, which mind you, looks like a normal undamaged heart in reality, is an indication that Blitzø KNOWS he broke her heart. All he tries to do is run away from her instead of making excuses or trying to defend himself. Deep down, Blitzø DOES feel bad about hurting Verosika.

When she talks shit about him in Ozzie's, again, he doesn't even say anything. He looks guilty and ashamed of what he did to her.

And for the record, Verosika doesn't come off much better than Blitzø for not moving on and subjecting him to public humiliation at every chance she can get to the point of assaulting his employees just for being associated with him. Moxxie didn't deserve to be gangbanged against his will. He had nothing to do with Blitzø and Verosika's breakup.

She also didn't have to willingly steal their only parking space left and spray paint on their logo. It's not like she didn't know her ex was working there. She did that on purpose. Nobody forced her to summon a gaint sea monster on Earth. She did that on her own accord.

To people who say that Blitzø subjects Verosika to public humiliation just as much as she does to him, no, he really doesn't. In Spring Broken, he didn't even know that it was her who stole his only parking space available for him until she stepped out of her car. He was just mad that ANYONE would have the nerve to purposefully take his only place left to park his car. It's not like he yelled at her just for being there. He didn't even say anything to her in Ozzie's until she joined Fizz and Ozzie in on their roasting song. He was actively trying to avoid her and almost forgot she was even there up to that moment. The only time he publicly humilates her is when he gets her arrested on Earth, and even that was done out of revenge for sexually harassing Moxxie.

The only thing you could really count as Blitzø "not taking accountability" for stealing Verosika's car, spending her credit card on horse riding lessons and breaking her heart is that he hasn't really apologized for it yet. But just because he hasn't apologized, that doesn't necessarily mean that he's proud of hurting her or that he doesn't feel any remorse for it.

Verosika also needs to get over it already, because it's been YEARS since they broke up and not letting Blitzø forget about it isn't doing any good for her mental health. And no, it's not victim-blaming to say so. Brandon Rogers said that Verosika was just as responsible for their relationship ending on bad terms as Blitzø was and that she wasn't a flawless girlfriend any more than he was a flawless boyfriend. I haven't actually seen the source for this, but I can imagine that once it becomes undeniable evidence that Verosika wasn't a completely blameless saint and that Blitzø was also possibly hurt by her just like she was by him, her stans will NOT take it very well at all.

Also, if either of them isn't taking responsibility or being held accountable for their actions, it's Verosika. I haven't seen her bring up anything she might've did to Blitzø in the past (the only reason he doesn't is because he's clearly moved on and she hasn't) nor I have seen her feel any remorse for what she did to Moxxie. It's totally possible that the reason for that is because she knows that as a rich and famous musician, she'll get off scot free and her in-universe fans will take her side no matter what. Not because she "did nothing wrong".

I wonder how many people would absolve Verosika of her own actions if she were a man and Blitzø was a woman. Imagine a man who was still bitter at an ex-girlfriend for something shitty she did years ago back when they dated, sexually assaulted one of her employees just to upset her, and bragged about how passionate of a lover he was in bed while she "did no reciprocating" just to publicly humiliate her because he won't let go of the past even if she already has. Or, imagine an ugly poor woman doing the same instead of a beautiful celebrity with big boobs. I'm pretty sure only THEN would people realize that Verosika isn't exactly as innocent as people make her out to be....

This is the look of regret in Blitzø's bad trip that I mentioned earlier. You CAN'T tell me that he doesn't look guilty here.

You know in Curse of Strahd there's a controversial character Gertruda who 50 (500) year old Strahd is implied to planning take as another bride because of where you find her and in the book it states she's recently a teenager. However as much as I hate this plot line due to trauma I understand why it was added because WOTC portrays Strahd as a piece of shit. Like his goal is to chase down the reincarnation of his brother's fiance throughout time until he catches her, makes her a vampire and possibly brainwash/assault her to make her love him. Strahd is meant to be a gross creep. I as a DM and many other age Gertruda up to 18 because we don't want a pedo plot line and it keeps the predatory nature of Strahd intact.

Barbie seems to be portrayed in a significantly more positive light and her grooming behavior is never called out as a bad thing. Like Moxxie should say something at god damn least since he has morals.

There are so many things wrong with the EP. What gets me is writing has multiple stages, first the person needs to come up with the EP pitch, get the directer or network's approval, finish the first draft, then revisit it for grammar mistakes and continuity, then revise it a few more times for a stronger script, and send it to the directer or network again to approve of filming the finish script and that's not even counting how long animation takes too. So during the process of writing to animating, did no one at SpindleHorse see how weird and problematic the script was? The camp for pre-teens is called, "IWannaKumMore"(Their logo being a cum splat), Millie and Moxxie's human backstories of being siblings then making out at the end was unnecessary because they could have just been good friends whose mothers sent them to the same camp, Moxxie this grown ass adult who pretending to be a pre-teen is acting sexual and wants the kids attention, Millie who everyone else thinks is a young boy is getting sent nudes from kids and adults, and Barbie saying how easy teenagers are to manipulate then flash her ass to a boy is implying she grooms kids.

To be clear, I don't have a problem when a dark comedy make these types of jokes as all as they portray the topics and groomers as bad and show they understand that. SpindleHorse did not, like you mentioned they portrayed Barbie in the positive light and Moxxie never calls out her behavior despite being the voice of reason. In fact the tone of the Barbie's scene was supposed to funny but not in a dark ironic way. I don't understand why the camp couldn't be for college students and the consolers are stated and look like actual adults. Everything about the canon camp is childish and filled with teenagers, it's very uncomfortable to see them in sexual situations. In America the youngest a camp counselor can be is 15 y/o but that changes from states to states so no body has a clue, also with the camp counselor having a pitch voice, Barbie referring to him as kid and teenager and him, not once trying to correct her about his actual age, I'm convinced he was kid but Viv had to age him up for damage control.

I'm sorry if this response is all over the place because I'm having trouble describing my thoughts but the writers are in their 30s, and they saw nothing wrong? The writing for HB has been going down for a while now and it was fun to see how the writing could get worse but never in my years of watching awful shows did the writing get so bad, the writers had to resort to terrible jokes about sexualizing teenagers, making an incest joke, and a minor getting groomed unironically. I can't support a person or company that are fine making content like that.

"Unhappy Teenagers" was the first time, I have watched a show and felt a sinking feeling in my gut so much so it still lingers even a day later. I never felt so sick from watching a show and I'm sorry writers and companies think making this type of content and jokes of your trauma and abused experience is okay to do.

Well, it's been months since I posted, but now that I'm on vacation from college I hope to be able to dedicate myself more to drawings.

Anyway, I'm still on a Hazbin/Helluva vibe (even more so now that the new HB ep is out), and my vibes with a series usually last for a whole year.

I decided to play with character redesigns and during this period I started to become interested in Hazbin Hotel AUs, more specifically a "What if" whose premise is "What if Charlie was taken to Heaven as a baby?", or better yet "What if she was transformed into an Angel?", that was the result.

This frame and background were the result of me not resisting the urge to add complexity where it doesn't need to be.

Pois é, faz meses que eu não posto, mas agora que entrei de férias da faculdade espero poder me dedicar mais aos desenhos.

Enfim, ainda tó na vibe de Hazbin/Helluva (ainda mais agora que saiu ep novo de HB), e minhas vibes com uma série geralmente costumam durar por um ano inteiro.

Decidi brincar com redesings de personagens e nesse periodo comecei a me interessar por AUs de Hazbin Hotel, mais especificamente um "What if" cuja a premissa é "E se Charlie fosse levada pelo o Paraíso quando bebê?", ou melhor ainda "E se ela fosse tranformada em um Anjo?", esse foi o resultado.

Essa moldura e fundo foram o resultado de eu não resistir a vontade de colocar complexidade onde não precisa.

In this case, the transformation into an angel would happen because of God themselves (yes, Charlie's grandpa, or grandma, depends on they will).

In my mind, the scene set up was:

Charlie was brought to Heaven after an extermination (I haven't planned the details of the process yet) and was handed over to Sera. The Seraphim was in shock, because she realized right away who that baby was, she didn't know what to do and went to consult her superiors, in this case the 6 Archajes (aka Lucifer's brothers).

A lot of discussion and chaos, some believing that the fruit coming from the unholy union between a Fallen Archangel and a Corrupted Human would be the Anti-Christ herself, they wanted to "cut evil at the root" fearing that it could bring problems in the future, others trying to be more sensible, after all she was just a baby and should not be condemned for her parents' sins.

Sera agreed with the latter, and the reason for her empathy was her little sister Emily (who was also a baby at that time), but she remained quiet throughout the discussion as she had no power to interfere in the Archangels' decisions. Miraculously, their prayers were answered, because God decided to intervene for the first time since Creation, even though he didn't show himself, everyone recognized the light that purified baby Charlie from demonic evil and blessed her with the sacred angelic glow, making her decision clear to everyone.

Remembering that Angels highly value hierarchy, so the word of God is law and should never be questioned. Now Heaven had a new princess, a new Morning Star.

Na minha cabeça, a cena montada foi:

Charlie foi trazida ao Paraíso depois de um exterminio (ainda não planejei os detalhes do processo) e foi entregue nas mãos de Sera. A Serafim em choque, porque percebeu logo de cara quem era aquele bebê, não saberia o que fazer e foi consultar seus superiores, no caso os 6 Arcajos (vulgo irmãos de Lúcifer).

Muita discussão e caos, uns acreditando que aquele fruto vindo da união profana entre um Arcanjo Caído e uma Humana Corrompida seria o Anti-Cristo em pessoa queriam "cortar o mal pela raíz" temendo que ela poderia trazer problemas no futuro, outros tentando serem mais sensatos, afinal era só um bebê e não deveria ser condenada pelos pecados do pais.

Sera concordava com esses ultimos, e o motivo de sua empatia era a sua irmãzinha Emily (que também era um bebê nessa época), mas ficou quieta durante toda a discussão já que ela não tinha poder para interferir nas decisões do Arcanjos. Milagrosamente, suas preces foram atendidas, porque decidiu Deus intervir pela primeira vez desde a Criação, mesmo não se mostrando, todos reconheciam a luz que purificou a bebê Charlie da maldade demoniaca e lhe abençoando o brilho sagrado anjelical, deixando claro para todos a sua decisão.

Lembrando que os Anjos valorizam muito a hierarquia, logo a palavra de Deus é lei e jamais deve ser questionada. Agora o Céu tinha uma nova princesa, uma nova Estrela da Manhã.

A Bíblia e o Suicídio

Tema 5: Cuide da sua Mente (Lc 4:1-14 e Cl 3:2-5)

Durante a tentação de Cristo no deserto, o diabo procurou induzi-lO ao suicídio. Em sua segunda ou terceira tentativa, ele transportou o Mestre para o pináculo do Templo de Jerusalém, ou seja, o ponto mais alto da torre, e tentou manipulá-lO para que Ele se atirasse. A manipulação era por meio de palavras baseadas nas próprias Escrituras, mas usadas de forma perversa (Mt 4:1-14; Lc 4:1-14).

Ambos sabiam que se o Mestre se lançasse do alto teria caído na tentação e logo morreria. Mas, quando a voz maligna soou nos ouvidos do Mestre, O mesmo retrucou usando as Escrituras - agora de forma legítima. Ele 'foi tentado de todas as formas, porém sem pecado algum' (Hb 4:15). O Senhor Jesus é o nosso maior exemplo a seguir para qualquer situação que passemos nesta vida.

No deserto, o inimigo tentou torcer a Escritura a seu favor para trazer a morte. Isso é o que ele tem feito desde que foi lançado sobre a Terra, pois muitos creem que o suicídio é alívio e um pecado que pode ser perdoado por Deus. No entanto, a tentação de Cristo é a única passagem bíblica que apresenta a origem do suicídio, o diabo. Quem ouve a voz do inimigo de nossas almas terá tais pensamentos.

Visto que o diabo é quem origina os pensamentos suicidas, poderia tal ato trazer algum benefício para a alma do homem? Não seria, portanto, tal pecado capaz de te excluir do Livro da Vida? Não há recompensa em Deus para aqueles que caem na tentação de se autodestruir, pois 'se alguma pessoa destruir o santuário de Deus, Este o destruirá; pois o santuário de Deus, que sois vós, é sagrado.' (1Co 3:17)

Nos temas anteriores, percebe-se que os suicidas possuíam um histórico de desobediência, orgulho, maldade e desesperança. Esses exemplos destacam duas importantes conclusões: Primeiramente, o ato do suicídio não é uma decisão tomada de forma repentina, mas sim o resultado de um contexto prolongado de desespero e tristeza. Em segundo lugar, é crucial compreender que um indivíduo que considera o suicídio não é necessariamente perverso com o próximo, mas eles ainda não entenderam a profundidade e a completude do amor e do ciúme que o Espírito Santo tem pelas almas.

Quando você reconhece que o suicídio não vem de você, descobre também que ele não é para você. Por isso, não permita que a voz daquele que se opõe a você flua em seus pensamentos. Cuide da sua mente 'pensando nas coisas lá do alto, não nas que são aqui da terra; porque morrestes, e a vossa vida está oculta juntamente com Cristo, em Deus' (Cl 3:2-5). Portanto, 'tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é honesto, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai!' (Fp 4:8)

Da mesma forma que Cristo triunfou sem ceder, você também pode superar, mesmo que isso implique recomeçar do zero. Pois Ele, sendo semelhante a você, não se submeteu de forma alguma à sua própria vontade ou aos desejos do inimigo, mas permaneceu fiel e leal ao Deus Pai. Ele compreende suas fraquezas e conhece sua dor. Neste momento, o Espírito Santo está intercedendo por nós diante de Deus para que sejamos fiéis a Ele. Não subestime esse amor, mas, mais uma vez, abra seu coração e aguarde com fé no Senhor. Ele certamente intervirá, pois é o 'socorro bem presente na angústia' e temos a promessa de que aqueles que 'dão atenção à exortação quanto a suportar os sofrimentos com paciência, Cristo, igualmente, te livrará da hora da tribulação (...).' (Sl 46:1 e Ap 3:10)

I wanna start with ZZ’s general aura and disposition during the wrap, and how happy he was. It’s really nice to see him be among a group of people that seems to dote on him and that he can be comfortable with. You can probably see some double standard talk going around, that yes, during CQL wrap, he was also happy — however, in the last day, there were moments that they both looked sad. I also just remembered how much of a jiejie collector XZ is. LOL. If WYB collects geges, then XZ collects jiejies. That’s what I noticed with his interactions towards his co-star. I think she’s another jiejie who is now doting on XZ. 😂😂😂😂

Moving on to the other CPN clues, starting with some usual fandom symbols that we see. I love adding those to every post because it shows how consistent they are. for example the logo animation of XZS where GG talks about the Moon. like how many times did we make a CPN between them connected to the 🌙? these might be hard to spot for new turtles or those who aren’t into cpns.

I have also been thinking about this number because for XZS lantern festival game, they are giving away 23 desk calendars. so specific.

this imagery from the vlog compared to WYB’s single video is just so similar. the sunshine allowing plants to grown. whether that me be literal or metaphorical. how they view the world is so hopeful 🤍🤍🤍 and this is why they get along so well. there is really no way they wouldn’t be close, even if they didn’t end up playing WWX / LWJ. I believe that somehow, they would find their way to each other and still have the relationship we think they have. 🌱

and yes, we know that this was part of the filming process. at the start, XZ planted it and during the course of the shoot cared for it and watched it grow. but the similarity in their message to people and to the world. I can’t. this is some next level coincidence and connection.

The use of words that are same/similar to the captions of Hidden Blade’s weibo account is next. It’s one of those things that I think XZ is purposely fucking with us. It’s not like you can claim that he copies HB, because they do not own those captions on their posts. it’s just words. However clowns will know — what are the chances that he is using the same/similar? Mister eloquent himself who also has a team that does his videos. It all seems intentional.

• “plant your own sun” / and then HB is always putting suns on every 100 million they get in the box office. the intention in XZ’s words is like, do it yourself. like a person works hard to get their success. similar to what happened to HB, they have very little backing and it’s because the movie is actually good that it’s getting the recognition.

there is also a cpn going around about the sound you can hear from the radio. I am the last person to verify things like this but can you hear wuming? 💀💀💀

but I think the correct explanation is, what it’s actually saying is “how do you rate it?” ( or something like that ) and because of the sound manipulation, you can sort of hear wuming. this is not the first time XZ puts things that he purposely wants us to mishear. lol.

i was looking through the Jetpack Joyride twitter earlier, and in one of the posts (likely from around 2014) there was a youtube link that lead to a video that is now unavailable. i naturally got curious and punched it into the Wayback Machine and found out that it's an upload of the 'Shirt Sleeves' rock opera uploaded by Machinima's happyhour channel???? i have literally never seen this before and i don't think i've seen anyone else talk about it either.

this upload actually predates Halfbrick's upload by over a year, with this one being uploaded on the 9th of May 2014, the HB upload date being the 6th of October 2015. the video itself isn't really any different from the new upload, apart from some app store logos at the bottom of the screen. if you're also curious about this, you can view the archived video yourself here (it will take a while to load). i wanted to see what the rest of the description said, but it wasn't really loading at all :(

nowadays, pretty much all of the videos on the happyhour youtube channel have been purged, say for two playlists, so finding out that this was even on there was literally just a stroke of luck that the Jetpack Joyride twitter posted the link in the first place. i wonder if 'Robot Bird' or 'The Very Last Minute' were ever on there. another interesting little oddity i've found is this tweet where they link to an image, but the link is broken, and there doesn't seem to be an archive, so we'll likely never know what it was.

Exes and Oohs breakdown (spoilers)

Another Moxxie episode where we see his father AND ex-boyfriend.

This episode already gets points for coming out on the weekend, as a lot of people like myself didn’t like how the last episode aired during the work week.

Looks like Loona’s fat shaming/gas lighting is working, as Moxxie is now starting to believe it.

From time to time I have brought up the idea that Millie’s anger might be related to some kind of mental or psychological problem, and its moments like this that seem to hint/confirm it. It’s nice to see Moxxie being one of the things that can calm her down.

Looks like Moxxie and Millie aren’t the only people Blitzo likes to see doing it.

Heh it’s a Hell-icopter. Hey if Vivziepop can make the occasional cheesy joke in her videos then why can’t I, especially since I’ve already ignored several big ones of hers so far in the series.

So this episode takes place in the Greed ring. Kind of hoping we would go to Envy, but at least we can learn more about the Greed ring.

Interesting to know that there is vehicle sized elevators available to take people to other rings while in their respective vehicles. Explains how Blitzo can bring the I.M.P. van to places.

In that wide shot where we see Crimson and that big shark guy, what is that red demon supposed to be? He looks like a Imp/Incubus mixed with something else that looks very bird like to me. Could he be the bastard child of a Goetia who slept with a lower-class demon?

Crimson says Blitzo is becoming famous but is it because of his business or because of his “relationship” with Stolas as the events of “Ozzie’s” still haven’t been showed yet. Has my wish of their relationship still being a secret coming true? I guess we will have to wait till the Ozzie X Fizz episode.

Baby Moxxie and his mother! Looks like she wasn’t happy in the relationship, poor thing. At least it’s fitting and tolerable for this one time story compared to another cliche marriage but I’m not getting into that as today is all about Moxxie and Millie.

Love the flashbacks followed by the Titanic references, even Blitzo calls it out XD.

For robbing a bank owned by the demon of Greed, I’m surprised Moxxie only went to jail. You think a crime like that would be instant death or getting tortured from the demon himself.

MOXXIE AND BLITZO FIRST MEETING! I wished Moxxie had talked more in that conversation but it’s nice to see how it all started. It also seems to show that Moxxie likes Blitzo because he’s leagues nicer than his father and ex, betting its was how Blitzo wanted to get in touch with Loona that sealed their friendship.

By Moxxie saying “sissy lifestyle” I’m guessing Crimson is homophobic. I can see several HH/HB characters having issues with that.

Looking closer, Chaz’s hairstyle is very similar to Seviathan von Eldrtich’s hairstyle. I’m guessing that is a common style for aquatic demons.

Please tell me were going to get a “Princess Bride” scene later in this episode with Millie in the Westley role :D

So Crimson is homophobic. I’m also still surprised by what this series can get away with sometimes when it comes to visuals.

The flashbacks are education as along with getting more confirmation of Moxxie’s childhood and Crimson being a bad father and husband (not surprising) with very little words, but it’s also thanks to him Moxxie’s mother is gone. Damn. Hell just got a lot uglier without her in it.

I honestly wasn’t expecting Chaz to have his own agenda, I thought we would see Millie learn about the wedding and try and stop it. Heck I’d be okay if Blitzo did this as he hasn’t done much in the episode, almost like he SHOULDN’ T have been in it.

“Says he’s better then he looks only to be knocked out” cliché. It would have been cool to see Moxxie do some action before getting knocked out, as that would be another reason why Crimson ties him up as he see’s that his son can be a problem.

I have been wondering what a demon wedding looks like, so it was nice seeing some elements of it.  I am surprised that the demon priest is wearing attire an actual human priest would wear. You think he would wear something more IDK… hellish, like wearing all red or something. Ooo what about gray as that could represent the groom (who wears white) and bride (who wears black) becoming one!

Want to point out that Wrath channel is playing a country like song, fitting given we know it’s filled of farmers and other stereotypical country stuff.

We’re getting our “Princess Bride” scene!!!!!

Mille gives Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion a round for his money on, I mean she pulls out people’s skulls and spines WAY better then him.

After all that, I would have just killed Crimson, and maybe Chaz, so they can’t cause future problem especially when they already have tons of enemies but that’s just me. At least I could see them returning in interesting ways but more on that later.

It honestly wasn’t surprising to see Loona still in that chair, heck I bet she could stay in any chair for weeks without having the need to get up.

NO KEEP THE HELL-ICOPTER GUYS! That would have been cool to have for later.

I don’t think Chaz is dead, however without his teeth I bet he wished he was.

Actually thinking back, I’m surprise that though he is a shark demon, he can’t regrow teeth like an actual shark. It makes me wonder if other animal like demons lack traits the actual animal has, like I could see bee demons being able to use their stingers without fear of it coming off naturally.

Another episode, another Hell enemy for I.M.P. though I do see this leading to a good episode.

(watching credits) DAMMIT Chaz is dead. Why couldn’t it be Striker! I really would have liked to have seen Chaz return with not only dentures to replace his missing teeth, but also trying the same plan on Helsa Von Eldritch in a Hazbin Hotel episode. I feel like this potential episode would have been a growing moment for Charlie who discover Chaz’s plans, and though she hates Helsa (showing similar traits to how her father hates people like Adam or Michael in that episode which are pointed out by the characters) she puts it aside and helps Helsa realize she is being used and maybe while the two still hate each other, there is some respect between them as maybe Helsa does something that helps the Hotel.

Another good episode that is fitting with this season’s theme of expanding more on the character’s backstories, though this one is the best so far. All the positives about the episode are the same as previous episodes so I’m going straight to the negatives.

Though I do like how Millie got some good screen time, I wish we could have explored more about her in it, like what if she always had a bad reaction when dealing with exes EVEN when said ex tries to be friendly with her?  It also would have been nice and fitting with her character if she tried to bond with Crimson during the episode or again figure out his plan’s with Moxxie and instantly tries to stop it.

As I mentioned in my Helluva Boss EXPO literature, I didn’t like Blitzo being in another episode that really would have been better off as a Moxxie and Mille only episode. I recently watched a DCAU Justice League/JLU review and it went over how though it was about a team, not every team member appeared in every episode which was a plus as it gave stories where the problem couldn't be solve in 5 minutes because this specific character was there but also gave us interesting character interactions and dedicated screen time for said characters. It would be nice to see that later on in Helluva Boss in some way. Same with how Crimson being another bad father since we’ve gotten plenty of those. Again I know bad parents is a theme in Vivzies’s shows but I think it be nice to get more “variety” like that headcanon I made about Moxxie’s father being an actor, but more on that in my eventual Helluva Boss rewrite. It IS happening but there is no big rush right now, which gives me time to focus on other things I need to catch up on. I at least hope HH’s Lucifer isn't like that as it would be nice if he was a character who loves Charlie but strongly think her redemption idea should be stopped as along with how he feels like his pride is being attacked a bit, he is scared of her failing and maybe because of something else as I suggested in my HH season 1 premiere post.

At least Crimson’s personality could lead to an interesting future episode where he tries to get revenge on Moxxie and especially Millie, which would hurt Moxxie more. He’d be perfect for the antagonist of my episode idea where Moxxie and Millie go and spend time with Millie’s family, as Crimson has orchestrated the events that led Millie’s father Joe in a bad position and unknowingly lures Moxxie to him in order to get out of it. Of course seeing how Crimson treats Moxxie, and realizing he isn’t going to let him go and plans on hurting Millie next, Joe goes back on his deal and the two (along with Millie and her other family members) defeat Crimson who I could see dying of natural causes because he refused to give up on getting back at Moxxie. This episode could also make Millie’s parents finally accept Moxxie as one of the family and maybe Moxxie starts seeing Joe as a new father figure.

This episode was worth the long wait, and luckily Spring starts soon so hopefully episode 4 will come out soon. I have to say I’m excited for the upcoming Blitzo centered episodes as they guarantee to give us some good stuff.

Ravelry took sides.  Against the fiber arts community.

Ravelry has had issues for the last few years.  They redesigned the site in such a way that it was triggering seizures in people, the heads of Ravelry dismissed such issues as bs and insulted and ignored the people that were complaining, and they took a hands off stance while a scam artist was stealing thousands of dollars from users (that scam artist would end up in jail by the end of that fiasco, all thanks to DT and not to Ravelry).

Earlier today someone, an unknown someone but there are three very good culprits suggested (Jasmin of Knitmore Girls, that toxic Ben guy from Stitches, or BzyPeach), complained about the discussion about the Lady Dye Yarns situation.

And, because of that complaint, two mods got banned.  One mod, Chupacabra, got banned for commenting that Diane of Lady Dye Yarns is being taken to court for credit card debt (this is confirmed knowledge that is available to the public on the Massachusetts website, it was not protected knowledge) and not posting proof.  And then, when a second mod stepped in, TnyPirate, and posted a screenshot of the, once again, publicly available evidence of Diane being taken to court over credit card debts, she was banned for posting proof!

It turned into a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.  All in an attempt to silence the consumer advocacy group DT because they were sitting on knowledge that hadn’t been released yet.

Well fuck that.  Diane, if you were so scared of this getting out before, well, it’s out now.  Chupacabra posted what had not been said on Reddit.  Diane, of Lady Dye Yarns, was taking grants from the state of Massachusetts, and was specifically only shipping complete and well dyed yarns to people involved with giving those grants.  And that’s how she was supporting her business for ten years.  That’s why she was gathering information on people’s real names and linking them to social media accounts, so she could continue to make herself and her company look good, all while throwing the ‘lesser’ customers under the bus.

She was also raising money, for charity she claimed, and keeping it for herself.

She has started fighting chargebacks, so if you’re owed yarn or a refund by her, you need to fight for that money now.  She doesn’t have the cash to refund money any longer.  Especially now that people are backing away from her now that her thefts have come to light, including stealing and distributing patterns from designers she knew in real life!

All in all, it’s coming out that she really is just a terrible, terrible human being and scam artist that was able to keep the balls in the air for ten long years.

Oversight looks to have been an issue for this program. Intriguing considering the financial state and general disorganization of LDY and the company having received a grant with such obvious to accounting Ravelry screaming loud issues, including issues with the Mass Secretary of the Commonwealth, and what that recent debt collection court case implies as iffy credit.

Then, this was found about another program that LDY was involved in that may explain why it appears (and I am alleging) that Diane had to artificially inflate and cheerlead the state of the company. This may be a touch hard to follow because the narrative of what it is and why it is important to the story was still being fully fleshed out for following along. It wasn't quite ready for prime time yet, but was getting close.

First you'll need to open this archived webpage from FBE (Foundation for Business Equity) and then scroll down to the “Our Cohorts” section (almost at the bottom). On the left side there’s orange text/button labelled: “Click on logos to learn more about our Participating Enterprises in Cohort IX and X”

Have a look at the logos.So LDY is listed in their “Cohort IX” &/or “Cohort X”. That’s very recent.For more details on what the BEI Accelerator does, search this document for the phrase “Business Equity Initiative”. Keep searching because there are a few hits worth reading so that the structure of the program makes better sense.

Diane was 100% certainly a member of the BEI Accelerator program in late 2021.

Confirmation was found on Twitter. The tweet is from FBE’s acct and it says:

“As the holiday season arrives, we are highlighting some of the incredible businesses in our Business Equity Initiative (BEI) program. Today we are sharing two businesses that are perfect for classic gifts: Elegant Stitches and ladydyeyarns”, followed by a photo of four dyed skeins with the LDY logo below them.

Diane better have shipped ALLLLL of the contents of her “Ready-To-Ship: The Fabulous Holiday Box” to customers who were directed via this site …. to this one..

It is suspected that things like that tweet above, plus other FBE-generated industry puff articles, were one of the contributing factors to Diane feeling she needed to keep separate league tables/lists of customers to single out for special treatment.

There’s no way she would have ripped off an investor or some big-wig/big-name by giving them the plebeian version of one of her boxes (or none at all!). They’d receive the bespoke one with 120% of the contents plus a hand-composed note. Delivered on. time. or kablooey … shit says hello to fan. Nobody complains like a burned donor. NOBODY.

It is also suspected that all of the above is why she also has bigger name defenders. She cultivated those relationships to cultivate more relationships to bring in more money to look better to programs. It's an ouroboros of networking to get more money to network to get more money.

It's bullshit all the way down, and at the very bottom are the customers who were simply rungs on the ladder to the real moneymakers and grant program approvers.

Now that it's been reported that on top of the inability to confirm claimed donations, stall on any refunds, and the outright theft from designers that she knew in real life and served on the Vogue Diversity Councel with that she is possibly fighting disputes, the Mass AG is making calls, and the DT forum and mods have been targeted for official shutting the fuck up it's starting to look like this was possibly just another scammer in some extra pretty packaging.

For what it is worth I absolutely think her defenders are being just as manipulated as everyone else has been. I just can't say if they are victims or volunteers yet, and they aren't talking so I'll leave that up to everyone else to decide.
