"You what?" Crewel seethed, eyes wide as an unsettling smile stretched across the red of his cheeks.
"Repeat that."
"I…I accidentally released that ghost from the spellbook," Grim sobbed, his glossy eyes reflecting both fear and guilt as he looked up at the imposing figure of the professor. "And he's taken my henchhuman as his bride!"
Oh, Great Sevens. Not again.
Crewel groaned, his hands reaching up to frantically rub at his burning eyes. The flickering candlelight cast erratic shadows across his face.
"Please, do tell. How in Wonderland did someone with your lackluster skills manage to—" The professor was abruptly cut off by a loud, almost obnoxious cry that echoed from the doorway. Turning sharply, Crewel saw Crowley hunched against the entrance frame, hysterically sobbing into his palms. Fat tears dripped beneath his ornate mask, glistening in the low light. "They grow up so fast! My dear child is already getting married!"
Crewel's eye twitched as he took in the scene: Grim shaking like a leaf, and Crowley, dramatically weeping, pathetically looking to him for a solution.
"Fools," Crewel snarled, striding out of the room as he fished his phone from his coat pocket. "If you two won't be of use, then I'll have to enlist the help of those mutts instead."
The day had started like any other in Ramshackle, but you certainly didn't expect it to end with a wedding. Surrounded by the ghostly residents of the dorm, you stood dressed in all white, a bouquet clutched in your hand. Curling in yourself, you sighed and rested your head in your hands, avoiding everyone's gazes which felt like icy needles on your skin.
Ramshackle's old lounge, with its worn-out floorboards and faded wallpaper, was the chosen venue for your ceremony. Whispers rustled through the gathering, carried on a faint breeze that stirred the dust motes in the dim light. Somewhere in the background, the somber notes of an organ piano echoed. You didn't even know you had a piano…
"Dear?"
Jumping with a shriek, you whipped your head around. A ghostly visage, bathed in a deathly pale blue glow, hovered inches from your face, an unnaturally wide grin stretched across their blue lips. Bony fingers gently traced up your cheeks, sending tingles down your spine.
With sunken eyes and high, sharp cheekbones, Elizan—a "visiting" friend of one of Ramshackle's ghosts—was truly a sight to behold. His complexion had a pallor that matched the moonlight filtering through the decrepit windows of the form. Wisps of long, flowing indigo hair framed his face, swept back as if caught in a breeze that only he could feel.
"You look wonderful," he cooed, pressing a featherlight kiss to your forehead, leaving your cheeks burning.
"Ah. Thank you," you stammered, averting your gaze and gently pulling away. You could hardly focus on the words being spoken to you, your mind spinning with the surrealness of it all.
"You look... Good as well," you forced out with a cough, tugging at your hair nervously. "But... Listen... I—"
Before you could finish, the door to the entrance slammed open, nearly breaking off the hinges with a sound that could wake the dead, sending cracks spider-webbing through the already dilapidated walls.
On the inside, you screamed louder than the hinges.
You had painstakingly patched up the door after Grim's recent screw-up—a feat that had tested your patience and carpentry skills to their limit. Unless you wanted to survive on a diet of stale canned food and cafeteria leftovers for another year, you couldn't afford any more repairs.
While you were busy mourning the loss of having decent meals, heaving and leaning against the door for support, your friends called out your name in a panic, their bleary and furious gazes zeroing in on your figure. Clad in white, you stood there, the perfect picture of a pretty blushing bride.
The uninvited guests didn't go unnoticed by your "groom," and in seconds, you were pulled into a suffocating grip. Elizan's usually serene demeanor shattered like fragile glass. His deathly pale features contorted into a snarl, veins pulsing ominously beneath translucent skin. His typically gentle eyes blazed with an unsettling fire, icy whites now narrowed and piercing.
"Mutt!" Crewel seethed, his foot slamming into the floor and shattering the newly installed tiles. Your soul nearly left your body as you screamed inside again. There go a thousand thaumarks…
"What in the Sevens is this!?" Crewel shrieked, running a gloved hand through his tousled hair. With sharp movements, he pointed a finger at Elizan. "I'll have you know I can have you arrested for trespassing, unlawful detention, and violating the sanctity of this academy!"
"How... How dare you? Barging into this sacred ceremony—Who even are you?!" Elizan snapped back, his arms coiling tightly around your torso. The crowd erupted in a haze of shouts and muddled answers. Unable to understand anything, Elizan's intense gaze shifted and bore into yours, demanding answers. You gulped nervously, suddenly feeling small and vulnerable in his grasp.
"Who is he?! Who are they?!" he barked like a dog, flashing his sharp fangs at you.
"Uh… That's my professor—uh, Crewel," you stammered, your voice barely audible over the pounding of your heart. "And those are… They're my… friends?" Your gaze flickered to the group of men who had entered, their expressions ranging from confusion to anger.
Elizan's wide eyes now filled with shock, white orbs glossed over with luminescent blue tears. He pushed you away as if you had burnt him, recoiling from your touch as though it pained him physically.
"You know other men?!" the ghost cried out, his hands clenching into fists, his midnight blue hair cascading wildly around his face like a tempestuous sea. The tortured cries of the groom echoed through the room, sending a shiver down your spine as you awkwardly shifted on your feet, feeling like a character caught in an soap drama.
"…Yes?" you replied, unsure.
"How could you do this to me?!" He sobbed, a dark shadow covering his face. "Running off on an affair the DAY of our marriage?!"
"Well, that's a rather dramatic accusation—" you started, but Elizan shook his head in anguish.
"Answer me! Do you have another man?!" His voice shook the room, and you took a few cautious steps back.
"Elizan, please," you uttered gently, your eyes darting nervously toward one of the men in the room.
Your lover didn't meet your gaze; instead, his eyes were locked onto the ghost, a storm of emotions brewing beneath his features. As you jumped down from the makeshift podium, you shot an apologetic frown at the ghost, hoping to diffuse the escalating situation. "Don't you understand? You're the other man."
"No! You're married to me!" Elizan shrieked, lunging forward in a frenzy, his nails clawing at the air as if trying to grasp something intangible. "Whoever he is—He's the other man!"

MALLEUS DRACONIA
"Whoever he is—He's the other man!"
Lilia raised an eyebrow with a chuckle, his form reclined against a fogged-up window of the room. The weather was gloomy and stormy, the skies tinted green outside, casting an eerie glow over the scene. The window pane, streaked with raindrops and mist, blurred the view of the turbulent skies beyond. Lilia hummed a tune under his breath, a calm figure amidst the brewing storm.
With a sidelong glance, his eyes locked onto Malleus, whose entire figure shook with a barely contained wrath that threatened to engulf the very air around him. The young prince's chest heaved in violent, choked breaths as smoke wisped from his mouth and nose—tendrils of flames flickering amidst the swirling dust and ash.
A deafening crack tore through the air as a vivid surge of green emerald lightning erupted from the heavens, descending upon the roof of the venue with explosive force. The blast of energy painted the sky with a blinding flash of green as it crashed into the building, sending broken glass and wood raining down upon the venue.
Cursing, Elizan moved you both aside, a large chunk of debris hurtling past, narrowly missing your startled form. As more debris crashed down, he shielded you with an outstretched arm, a shimmering barrier briefly forming to deflect a particularly large piece of wood.
"Spectral pest," Malleus seethed, his eyes aglow with an eerie green hue as his nails elongated into sharp claws. With a click of his tongue, he raised his hands, summoning thorns that spiraled towards Elizan, ensnaring the ghost in their sharp embrace. Simultaneously, from the floorboards below, vines emerged like serpents, their tendrils gently but firmly pulling you away from Elizan's protective embrace and guiding you into the safety of Malleus's arms.
"How—?! Ngh!" Elizan writhed against the thorny vines. The prickly tendrils twisted around him like serpents, their sharp points digging into his ghostly flesh.
Malleus paid no mind to the struggling spirit, keeping his gaze fixed on you as he checked for any signs of harm. His expression softened with relief upon finding you unscathed, albeit a bit dusty.
"Beloved," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm amidst the lingering chaos. His gloved hand moved delicately, sweeping away the clinging dust from your shoulders and arms. Pressing a tender kiss to your forehead, his lips lingered there briefly, conveying a warmth that contrasted starkly with the raw power he had displayed moments ago.
"Are you alright?"
Blinking up at him with wide eyes and frazzled hair shooting up in every direction, you nodded dumbly. Turning away from him, you nearly gasped aloud to see the room in shambles, debris scattered everywhere, and the eerie green glow of energy still lingering in the air. The ghostly residents were in a state of panic, their translucent forms flickering as they moved frantically.
"My dorm," you whimpered, your mind racing as you calculated the cost of the damage.
With a chuckle, Malleus adjusted his grip on you, his muscles flexing as he gently set you down. Your legs felt shaky as you tried to steady yourself.
"I will handle the cost of repair, my dearest," Malleus assured you, bending down to your height, his voice dropping to a whisper. Green eyes bore into yours, strands of his midnight hair falling over his face. "You will not need to worry about such things once we are formally betrothed."
You froze, your face suddenly warming and burning.
"What?!"
Malleus reached out, gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his fingers lingering against your cheek, claws dragging across your supple cheeks. "Yes, my dear," he murmured, chest rumbling as his lips curved into a sharp smile. "You heard me correctly."
"I… I don't know what to say," you whispered, feeling dizzy with emotion.
"Will you consider it?" he asked softly, a faint hint of a smirk playing on his lips. "Please?"
Caught in the depth of his gaze, you felt your resolve melting away. "I-I guess?" you breathed, your voice trembling. "I'll… consider it."
A smug smile spread across his face, and he tenderly pressed his lips against yours. "That's all I ask, my dearest."
After ensuring you were alright one last time, Malleus redirected his focus to Elizan. With a flick of his wrist, the thorns under his control tightened around the ghost. Elizan shrieked and thrashed about, his translucent form writhing in pain as the thorns dug deeper.
"Do try to exercise some restraint, my boy," Lilia drawled, tapping his sharp fingers idly against his crossed arms. "We do not want Ramshackle to be bathed in blood. It would be very unsanitary."

And he was happy. But never the happiest.
Tumblr media
Naomi couldn’t count how many calls she had made but the wetness in her cheeks is proof of how frustrated she already is. “Please, pick up.” She bit the inner side of her cheeks, tapping her feet on the tiled floor. Naomi regrets what she did. She regretted that she still proceeded despite knowing how wrong it was.
She warned herself not to be greedy at the beginning of their relationship. She remembered telling him they’d take it step by step, not rushing anything because they were determined to make it work. Now that she’s thinking about it, maybe he’s only determined because he wanted to forget about you so badly.
“Mom, please. He threw me out.” Naomi spoke on the phone, tapping her feet as she stood in the middle of her room with her things around her. She took all the things necessary and left. Satoru would probably put everything she left in the trash but that’s the least of her concern right now. She lost everything she had with Satoru and it’s all because of her stupidity.
“What did you expect? You sexually assaulted my son and you want me to help you?” The woman hissed at her. Naomi was naive; thinking that she’ll have her back just because she wanted her for Satoru. “If anything I could even get you arrested—” She began but Naomi was quick to defend herself.
“You’re part of this. Didn’t you basically tell me to use a child to keep your son?!” Tears of anger pooled in her eyes as her hands shook in fear, fury, and heartbreak. Naomi remembered when Satoru’s mom would free her schedule so she could spend time with him and Yui. She would suggest activities and let Naomi tag along and that’s how they started to fall for each other.
Or rather, that’s how she started to fall for him while he just wanted an escape.
“But I never told you to do that to my son! Naomi, do you really think someone would side with you on this?” Every corner of Naomi’s room felt like they were closing in on her, ready to squeeze her till she was nothing but dust. Of course, no one would be with her. No matter what Satoru’s mother told her, she still chose to follow it so the blame’s on her.
“For someone who finished school with flying colors, your mind is dull.” She chuckled, letting Naomi hear all she truly is. “You got a pretty face, you know? That’s another reason why you caught Satoru’s eyes easily.” At that point, Naomi didn’t know if it was still a compliment. She’s pretty and kind, and smart and perfect for him, like she said. But why can’t she have all of him?
“But I’m afraid that pretty face would be useless now. If I were you I’d go start over alone somewhere far.” She clicked her tongue, cutting Naomi’s thoughts off every time she tried to voice them out. “Like, imagine graduating only to get jailed over some dumb, desperate shit? Naomi, you screwed up. And that’s why you lost all chances with my son.”
Naomi shook her head, the warmness of her emotions dampened the smooth skin of her face. “No, you made me…” She breathed out, covering her mouth before running her fingers through her hair. “I didn’t want to do that…No.” She bawled and bawled but the line only went more and more silent.
She fucked up and she’s right. The shame and the loss of self-respect are not something she could live through in this city. She must go, she must leave. Like how they always did when she was a kid; fleeing the scene with her embarrassment of a family who can’t live without humiliating them. They have no decent source of living so they gotta strive.
Now, she’s doing all of it again, all while losing all of it. Again.
“Save yourself. I won’t let them know of your plan. After all, you were once of help to my child. I’m truly sorry.” With that, the call ended; with Naomi sitting on the floor as she put a balled hand over her throbbing chest, and the thought of going away to start as someone new settled in the middle of her head. Naomi learned a lot from all the troubles she went through.
This time, she learned that you could have someone's body but their heart could still be somewhere else.
—-------------------------------------------------
“What is it?” Satoru heard through the phone speaker. Taking a deep breath, he shut his eyes, letting relief flood his veins and calm his shaking flesh. “When are you free?” There was a long pause before Satoru’s father replied, “You know I can make time.” Clearing his throat, Satoru massaged his temples, thanking the heavens that his nightmares weren’t real.
“Let’s meet later if that’s alright.” He whispered, scared that his voice would break. Satoru knows that he is the only link between the relationship of his parents. Just like how his older brother would’ve been the connection his father was hoping to keep his first, real love close. Until they got tired of it all; the matters brought by his mother. And him.
Just like how she drained Satoru out. And right now he just wanted to run away from her too.
“Of course, just send me the exact time.” Satoru nodded as if his father could see him, “Are you alright?” He asked after a few seconds as if sensing the trouble from his son’s voice. “Yeah, much better now, at least.” Satoru rubbed his eyes as he shook his head, eyeing the negative results of the vaginal swab test. “Dad, Mom can’t know.”
He’s almost sure that the request would prompt questions from his father, knowing that he’s aware of how close he is to his Mom. But he was surprised when he simply agreed, murmuring an “Okay.” before letting his son end the call. Satoru pictured him on his office chair as he nodded away, brows furrowed with worry like he always is when it comes to family matters.
When Satoru was a child, his nanny would tell him that his father wasn’t always so workaholic when his ex-wife was still there, co-parenting with him. After she ran away and left, his father started to immerse himself in work more. He knows that he tried with his mother since they were already there and married. But it was just never the same.
His father was happy with them. But he could never be the happiest again.
Leaning back on the chair, he put a hand over his eyes and let his frustrations stream down his cheeks. He let out a shaky sigh, grabbing the papers before looking at them in a brighter light. It’s negative. Nothing happened. You woke him up just in time. He tapped on Naomi’s contact, quickly typing his last message before attaching a photo of the results.
‘I’m mailing the rest of your things tomorrow.’ It only took a minute for her to respond with an apology but Satoru doesn’t care anymore to read it. He blocked the number as soon as he made sure that she received and read the message. He doesn’t want to be anywhere near her.
He knows he is wrong for not telling her about his feelings as soon as he can. But that doesn’t equal what she did to him and what she almost got them into. Satoru checked the clock before sending the time to his father, hoping to end all of this mess before the mess ended him.
His mother has been calling him nonstop, and he always had to pretend that he was not home during the previous days. He stayed in watching movies with his little girl, sending you videos and pictures every now and then. He slept in her room during those days, a desperate attempt to calm his brain down. His head hurts from overthinking.
Putting the papers back into the envelope, Satoru took it with him to his room. He made sure to put it in his bedside drawer, just in case some other shit comes up. If this happened before, he’d probably think that Naomi is not that kind of person. But after what she did to him, all of the trust and admiration she has for her went to waste.
Changing into something more comfortable, Satoru tried to take a quick nap. He doesn’t want to look this tired when he meets his father. He’d probably convince him to get a general checkup just to make sure that nothing was wrong. Satoru knows that if it weren’t for him, his father wouldn’t ever put up with his mom. He’d probably spend his whole life searching for his ex-wife.
A few hours of nap felt like nothing because when Satoru woke up, he still felt tired. The only difference is his heartbeat doesn’t sound like it’s trying to come out of his chest anymore unlike when he was waiting for the results. A little progress is still progress; just like how he’s trying to make it all up to you.
If Satoru’s being honest, he’d fall down to his knees and beg you to take him back if you asked him to do it. The only thing stopping him is his brain telling him how happy you are right now and how he wouldn’t want to destroy that. He can’t force himself to stop thinking about you but he can force himself to move on if it’s for you.
Satoru leaned his elbows on the kitchen counter, reading a text from his father saying that he was on his way. Another text was from you; it was a picture of Yui holding up a coloring book and a crayon. He was just with her earlier but he misses her already. He wondered if he could visit when he doesn’t have other things to do even if it’s not his schedule yet.
Sending a response with a small smile on his face, Satoru heard the doorbell ring, signaling his father’s arrival. He peeked through the spaces of his window curtains to ensure that it was him before opening the door. Satoru’s still unsure of what he’ll say but he hopes that his father can give him a better solution.
Satoru thought that if he ever cut ties with his mother, it’d be for you and Yui’s safety. He didn’t think that it’d be for him too. “Dad,” He gave his father a hug as he stepped in, following his son as they walked to his house. “What’s going on?” He asked as soon as Satoru closed the door. They walked to the kitchen, settling on one of the barstools.
“It’s because of mom…” He began, placing a glass pitcher atop the counter.
—---------------------------------------
“Smile~ We’ll send this to Dada.” You cooed, pointing at the camera as you tried to take a picture of your daughter. At first, she didn’t want to do it, wanting nothing but to play with her book and crayons but when she heard that her Dad wanted to know about it, she got real creative with the pose. “You don’t listen to Mama, anymore.” You pouted at her as you hit send.
She scrunched her nose, sticking out her tongue at you before picking on her colors. You still can’t forget how dead Satoru looked when he dropped Yui off. You wondered what he talked about with his mother that caused him to be like that. Even with the soft tone of his voice, you could hear roughness that probably came from the lack of sleep.
If it concerns you, then you definitely have to know. His mother probably said something bad about you, but you doubt that it’s affecting Satoru by how he was talking and looking at you. He just looked so done with all of it, but even so, there was still a tender look in his eyes when they met yours.
You sighed while looking at your phone as you waited for a text from Toji. He’s been so busy with work lately, you’re just glad that you already talked about your problems. You had a feeling that it wouldn’t end well had it stayed unsaid for a couple more days. It wasn’t completely back to normal, but at least, you’re both trying to make it better for each other.
“I would try,” He whispered to your ear as he hugged you from behind, “I can’t promise not to think of her–“ You turned around, looking up at him with a solemn look in your eyes, “I’m not asking you to not think of her, that’d be selfish of me.” He nodded, kissing your forehead, “Alright, what I mean is, I won’t make any comparisons.” You hummed.
“I need you to stop worrying about Satoru and I.” You put your head on his chest, “I know it’s easier said than done, but I just want you to know that I am with you.” Your fingers traced figured on his skin, “I’m keeping that in mind.” He placed his cheek on top of your head, sighing deeply as he let go of you.
“I’m taking Megumi to my Mom’s.” He pushed your hair back with his fingers, making your eyes flutter close as you felt his face get closer to yours and his breath ghosting on your lips. “I’ll see you later.” He pecked your lips, “Take care, I love you.” He murmured as he gave you a long kiss, before turning to get their stuff.
One thing that you notice about Toji is that he never waits for you to say anything back. You don’t want to take the words lightly, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t feel the same way as him. You still have a long way to go, and you don’t want to rush anything. When you mention it to him, he just says that he needs you to hear it.
“Mama, look!” Your daughter pulled you out of your head as she showed you a picture of a cat, “Dada buy Yui.” You looked closely at the picture, laughing as you realized that she was talking about the cake that they ate. “Yeah, you're right! That's what Dada bought you!.” You patted her head as she giggled.
“Yui, baby. Did meemaw come to see you?” You held her small hands, trying to keep her attention to you. “No. No meemaw.” She pulled at your hair gently, trying to color it with her crayons. “What about…what about Naomi?” You can’t help but chuckle as she pretended to think, eyes looking up as she pouted her lip.
“No Naomi!” Her answer gave you a bit of an insight. You would assume that maybe she was just busy, but hearing about how Satoru’s mother reduced her workload made you doubt it. Satoru sent you tons of pictures during his time with her but you thought that Naomi just wasn’t in the frame.
If the ‘talk’ between her and Satoru didn’t end well, you could only assume that he already told her about it. He’s probably down because he wouldn’t want to hurt her like that. With all the progress Satoru has made, you doubt that he’d be so happy to have broken a heart. She was still once a friend to him.
A heavy feeling settles in the middle of your chest, like an anchor weighing your heart down, thinking about how his mother would probably find a reason to drag you for it. But if that’s the case, you’re sure that Satoru wouldn’t let harm come to you.
With how gentle Naomi was, you couldn’t think of a worse thing to happen.
——————————————
“What did she do this time?” His father looked away, clicking his tongue. If one would ask Satoru, his parents would’ve probably divorced years ago if it weren’t for him. His father knows how he is with his mother, and the thought of giving him a hard time switching between the two of them pained him.
Satoru wished that he thought about it too before he decided to go and selfishly start over with someone else. Your words the night he confessed to you echoed in his head. He came to a realization that you probably wanted to ask him to come back but held yourself back as he let you know how happy he was with Naomi.
And he was happy. But just like his father, he was never the happiest.
“I don’t really know how to open this up to you…” He bit his lip, “…But I just want this to be over, Dad.” Satoru felt so vulnerable at that moment. The only time he had a talk this serious with his Dad was when he found out about your pregnancy. It was just more of a news, unlike right now, which is a call for help.
“Naomi…Mom and Naomi talked about…” His father’s eyes coaxed him as if sensing his distress. “Naomi tried to…” Shaking his head, Satoru breathed out. “Naomi wanted to conceive. Because our relationship was falling apart.” He can see his Dad’s brows pull together to a scowl, probably getting a hint of what happened.
“She talked to Mom about it and she…” The man sat up straight, bouncing his leg like he already knew what his wife did. “She said Mom brought up the thing about how you and him got together.”It was hard to talk about this to his father, knowing how sensitive it can be for him. “Naomi told me about it. I recorded it, just in case—”
“Satoru, what did your girlfriend do?” Satoru looked down, fingers fidgeting like he was a kid again. “And your mother’s involved? What happened?” Rubbing his face, Satoru threw away all his fears. If he’s not going to fix these problems, then who will? “She got me drunk, and then she tried to sleep with me.” He blinked fast, watching his father’s face.
“I heard her talking to Mom on the phone, and I took it from her. That’s how I found out that she played a part in all of it.” It was hard for him to accept. The person he used to protect, the one he always tried to understand was the same person who betrayed and put him in this position; the position that also made his father the person he is today.
Another long silence surrounded them. His father’s hand was balled into a fist, covering his mouth as he blankly stared at the marble surface. “Where’s Naomi?” His father pulled out his phone, and Satoru could tell just what he was about to do. “I don’t know. I’m sending her things away. I’m cutting her off. I’m filing a protective order against her and mom–“
Satoru didn’t get to finish his sentence before his father spoke again, probably finally taking in the information he just provided him. “I’m divorcing your mother.” His mouth fell half-open. His voice was low, serious, and full of all the grief that he’s been feeling for years ever since he lost his first wife and son. “And I’m sending that woman to jail.” He added, raising a finger.
“There’s…I don’t want that.” He breathed out, earning a questioning look from his dad. “You don’t have to send her to jail. I…I messed up if I just told her that I still have feelings for Y/N, then she wouldn’t have resorted to that. She wouldn’t have talked to Mom and this wouldn’t have happened.” He stood up, leaning on the counter as he squeezed his eyes shut.
Satoru thought about it too when he caught her in the act. But after some reflection, he realized his shortcomings, his mistake of not just telling her about what was really going on. Even though there was no excuse for what she did, Satoru can’t help but feel like he’s the one who caused all of this to happen. And he probably really is; a victim of his foolish choices.
“But other than that, I don’t want Y/N and Yui to be caught up in this. I don’t want to expose them to this kind of problem, they’ve been through so much because of me already. I just want to do better this time.” Thinking about dragging you into another mess made Satoru feel weak. He promised to make it up to you, and he’d do anything to prove that.
His father put his phone down on the table, taking in a deep breath just to calm himself. “But you’re not stopping me from divorcing your mother.” Satoru doesn’t know if it’s right to agree to that. It felt like he was encouraging the separation of his parents; celebrating his mother’s heartbreak.
But his father’s been suffering heartbreak for years. It’s only fair to set him free.
“It’s up to you. I…” Satoru shook his head, sure of the decision he was about to make. “...I don’t think I can just forgive and forget what she did. It’s not something small, and I’m not a kid anymore, Dad.” His eyes itched, ready to let his tears go any minute. “I don’t even know if I still want to be associated with her.” He turned away, sighing as he blinked away his pain.
When he and Naomi went for the examination, he made her spill all the details regarding the said conversation with his mother. It took everything in him not to fly into a rage while breaking down as he heard of it. All this time, his mother saw him as a pawn to keep his father, regardless of whose life she was tearing down; Satoru’s, his father's ex-wife, and his first son.
“I wanted to take you away when you were a kid.” His father admitted, looking ahead as he reminisced of the decisions he made. “I wanted to just take you and raise you with your brother. Of course, with the hopes of getting my ex-wife back.” He leaned back, tapping on the screen of his phone. The bitter tone in his voice can’t be missed.
“That was my plan when I found out about you. But when you were about a year and a half old, she disappeared. All I knew was she was…tired; drained of all the chaos that our son and her were exposed to. What with having to co-parent with me as I was with your mother.” His eyes played the emotions he chose to hide away many years ago.
“I know you know about this. She and I got divorced. I thought it was over for us, I thought I made the right decision to turn away and try another start. And I was dating your mother. Then we had you.” His arms were crossed and Satoru could almost see the similarities between his feelings to how he used to feel about yours and his relationship.
“Then, realization came running for me; haunting me in my sleep. I was ready to get her back again, but it was too late. She was already gone.” Satoru absently poured water for his Dad, listening intently to his story. “So, I felt like the only thing to do was to marry your Mom. I reminded myself that still have you, I can’t just spiral down.” He smiled at Satoru.
“I tried to convince, tried to brainwash myself that it’d be fine. That I could learn to love her and I did. Just not the kind of love that lovers have.” If his mother could hear his Dad right now, she’d get shattered. Satoru doesn’t want to see that, but she would have to. She has to understand that she’s putting this man through.
“I loved her because she loves me; because she cares for you and me.” Leaning over to pick up his glass, he looked his son in the eyes. “But true love is unconditional, Satoru. It should not have a reason.” He took a sip, pursing his lips before continuing. “Reasons might vanish, and when it does, so will the love you feel for that person.”
In the middle of it all, Satoru could only think of you. Why does he love you? When did he realize that he loves you? How did it happen? He doesn’t have an answer for it. He cannot find a reason for it. He doesn’t remember loving you just because you put up with him, he doesn’t remember falling for you just because of the life you created together.
All that he knows is that one day, he woke up and he already knew that he was in love with you. Like he’s been doing it for years; like that’s all he’s ever known.
—-------------------------------------------------
“I’ll keep in contact with you regarding the proceedings.” Satoru’s father spoke on the phone, stepping inside his mansion and smiling at his helpers. He asked Satoru if he wanted to have a word with his mother but the thought of having to look at her after what she tried to make his ex-girlfriend do makes him feel dizzy.
“Honey, you’re home.” The woman tried to welcome him with a kiss and open arms but he quickly turned his head, rejecting her. “Come up to my office, we got something to talk about.” The mask of a loving wife was quickly covered with fear and dread.
“What about in our room? So, you can rest.” She nodded her head once, trying to coax him but he was tired of closing his eyes and numbing his heart from feeling the pain and regret of having to lose the love of his life for the comfort that this woman offered him before. “In my office. It’s not a small matter that I could sleep on.”
Leaving the woman baffled, he made his way upstairs, not waiting for her to walk beside him. There was a deafening silence in the big room, save from the footsteps of her husband and the door of his office slamming with such force that it sent a crack in her heart.
She took a deep breath and ran her palm on top of her dress, thinking of all the reasons she could give him just to prove her innocence. She didn’t want any of that to happen. She didn't think that Naomi could be so dumb as to come up with such a heinous and unpleasant plan.
That wasn’t even what she did to Satoru’s father. It was just working to keep them together. And that’s why Satoru came.
With her found determination, she held her head high. Swallowing the terror rising up her throat as she let her thoughts convince her that she did nothing wrong. She never explicitly told Naomi to do that, she’s the one who schemed that. There’s nothing to be afraid of.
She walked up the stairs, caressing the smooth, cold surface of the handrail. Satoru wouldn't allow anything to happen to her. He’s her boy, her pride and joy. He’s the only ally she had when his father was openly pushing her away.
Satoru wouldn’t just ruin what she and his father had because of baseless information from his sick girlfriend. Entering the office, the man sat on his swivel chair. Forehead pressed to the heel of his hand. “What is it, dear?” She smiled sweetly at her husband, appearing unaware of what he had in mind.
Oh, how she wished she was just unaware of it all. She wished that she didn't know what the problem was. She wished it wasn’t what she thought it was and that she was just overthinking because of how– “I want a divorce.” Those four words halted the spinning of her world.
“What?” She raised her brows, checking if it was just her mind playing tricks on her and making her hallucinate. “I want a divorce. And I want it as soon as possible.” His eyes no longer held any emotions towards her; no sadness, bitterness, fading love. None. Not even pity.
“Listen, honey, I didn’t think that Naomi would do–“ She took quick steps towards him, hoping to get him to listen. “So, you knew about it?” He glared at her, “You knew about it and you didn’t tell me anything?” He shook his head, and she could only open her mouth.
“Doesn’t matter. Satoru told me everything.” He stood up from his seat, towering over her as he stared her down. “It’s nothing like that–“ She breathed out, panicking. “I’m not really interested in what you told Naomi. I’m just thankful that my son’s safe.” He stepped away from her.
“What I want to do right now, is to be free from this.” It’s over for her. All the alibis that she was composing, thinking of for this moment are useless. He doesn’t need an explanation, this was simply the final push that he needed to kick her out of his life. And probably out of Satoru’s too.
“Please, don’t do this. We’re already too old to–“ She tried to grab his hand and he only grabbed it with the other to put it away. “You’re right. We’re too old, our son’s too old for me to still pretend that we want to be in this position.” Shaking her head, she stepped in front of him, blocking his way. “Please, listen. I wouldn’t do something that could harm–“
“I know,” His voice was calm. “Of course, to harm him wasn’t your intention, right?” She nodded eagerly, thinking that he was finally listening to her. “But you wanted to decide for him. You got in between him and Y/N, then pushed this woman on him because you thought you knew best for your son.” Tears fell down her eyes, and she lost all hope.
“Now, look at what you did to him.” He gritted his teeth, stepping forward to get her out of his way. “But this is not just about our son anymore. This is also about me, finally choosing to do what I should’ve done a long time ago.” Opening the door, he spoke to her one last time. “All you have to do is sign. The actions that your son will take is all up to him.”
With that, he left her with all of the nightmares of their past coming back. How he only wanted the best for his sons, how he wanted to take full custody of Satoru, how he wanted to get back together with his ex-wife, and how he only married her because she was gone. She was never the first option. She was never the original pick.
She wasn’t chosen, she just happened to be already there.
—————————————
“Hey,” You heard Satoru speak as Toji opened the door for him, nodding. This was kind of similar to how they first saw each other but you’re just glad that this time, it’s a lot calmer. Megumi ran to his father, peeking up at Satoru as he waved at him.
“Yui, your Dada’s here.” Toji left the door open to let Satoru in. Megumi was holding onto his pants, staring back at Satoru. “Yui Dada,” He picked his toy up, staring at a distance before walking closer to him. “Blue!” You laughed from the kitchen, as you packed some snacks for the little girl.
Today, you’re going to the zoo as Yui requested. The animal drawings from her coloring book got her asking you to call her Dada late at night, just to babble about it. “He’s referring to your eyes,” Toji spoke as he went back to the living room to pick up some of the toys.
“Megumi, it’s not good to point at people, what did I tell you?” He warned the toddler as he went back to your room, eyes meeting yours as you made your way to Yui's room. “Ah, yes. Yui and I have the same eyes.” Satoru smiled at the child.
“Dada!” Yui ran towards him, stomping her shoes extra hard to show him how they light up with dancing colors. “Woah! Did Mama buy you those shoes?” He opened his arms, urging the little girl to run to him and she happily did, giggling as she nodded. “It’s awesome!” You smiled at how he tried to flatter his child, encouraging her to do a little jump.
“Where are we going today?” You asked her in a playful tone as you put the lunch bags on the coffee table in front of them. “Zoo!” You watched a Satoru give her a sincere smile, patting her hair gently while complimenting her little butterfly clips. “I’m sure Megumi’s been to the zoo before.” He poked the little boy's tummy.
“Yeah. Animals. Bears and lions.” He stood behind you, peeking at Satoru as he talked. Megumi isn’t usually shy, but he doesn’t easily warm up to people. “We went there on his second birthday.” You almost jumped at Toji’s voice behind you as he picked up his child. “He’s a smart kid.” Satoru answered with a friendly smile.
“You guys should come. If you want..” It surprised you that he was initiating something like that. Although, you know that Toji wouldn’t be so comfortable with that and would most likely reject the offer, it’s still nice to see that Satoru’s trying to make an effort to get along with him.
“That’d be nice but his grandma's waiting for him,” Toji answered, chuckling awkwardly. “Dada work,” Megumi added, earning a hum from his Dad. Making sure that the bag is packed with everything Yui needs, you zipped it up. “You ready to go now?” You tapped the toddler’s cheek, feeling Satoru’s gaze at you.
“Alright, let’s get going.” Standing up with his daughter in his arms, he took the bag from your hands. He put the toddler down to hug her friend goodbye, before walking hand in hand with her outside. You laughed at how she kept squealing with each step she took, looking up to see her Dad’s reaction.
“You guys have fun, alright? I’ll just lock the doors before we go.” Toji pulled you to him, giving you a kiss. “I’ll be back later.” You put your hand around his neck, standing on your tippy toes before pecking his neck. With that, you walked out the door to join your toddler who was patiently waving at you from her car seat.
“Okay, it’s zoo time!” You wiggled your brows at her as you slammed the door shut, making her giggle. You checked your face in the mirror, trying to ignore Satoru’s soft eyes as he watched you. “How are you?” You tried to start a conversation but it was quickly interrupted as you searched around for your daughter’s binky.
“Maybe we left it inside,” Satoru spoke, opening Yui’s bag to help you find it. “Yui, where did you put it?” Remembering how she placed it on the coffee table as she showed off her outfit to her father, you started to unbuckle your seatbelts but Satoru stopped you. “It’s alright, I’ll get it.” He was already stepping out of the car before you could stop him.
Satoru jogged up your steps, knocking a few times before proceeding to open the door. Toji was just about to open it for him when he entered, “It’s Yui’s pacifier. She left it.” He put on the most polite smile he could muster, wanting nothing but to get rid of the awkwardness between them if they were both going to be in your life.
“Oh, alright. I thought it was someone else.” Toji let out a rather awkward chuckle, not knowing how else to react or what else to say. But just as Satoru uttered ‘thanks’, Toji remembered the thing he’s been thinking of for almost a week now. “Uh, Satoru,” He called, making him pause as he held the door open.
Her brows raised, waiting for him to say something. Toji doesn’t know if you’d be happy about this but it’s better than just letting his feelings, thoughts, and opinions all pile up inside of him. This is for you and Yui. Not just for him.
“I’ve been thinking about our situation with Y/N and… I was wondering if you could set aside a bit of your time for a chat?”

more yandere octotrio!
Dedicated to @mr-trick <3 ty for your support
"Your grades have been slipping."
When you had been called into Azul's office, you certainly weren't expecting him to scold you like a parent. To add insult to, well, insult, Jade and Floyd were there, too, and the latter couldn't stop themselves from snickering.
"I wasn't aware that was any of your business." You shot back. You didn't bother asking how he knew–you'd had twin eels trailing you since Azul's overblot. It was rare for you to go anywhere these days without the sight of one looming at you from this distance. If their heights didn't make them obvious enough, there was the eyes. Though you had a feeling stealth wasn't the goal.
You'd be right. The tweels found it very important that you knew they were close by. Azul may have preferred for them to be stealthier, but they enjoyed your reactions too much. Plus, their presence kept others away. It's probably why Azul let them continue.
But back to the scene at hand.
Azul's response comes naturally, almost too naturally–as if he was prepared for that response. "Of course it is. The success of Night Raven students has always been my business–"
The look you hit him with was enough to stop him in his tracks.
He chuckled, adjusting his tie and his approach. "Of course, business has changed in recent times. In the past the goal was to attract as many poor unfortunate souls as I could, offering contracts with the goal to better myself, and not them. But now I've mended my ways and made a switch, so to speak. Now I wish to truly help and better those I come into contact with, starting with those I already feel close or indebted to. And what better first than the one who helped me see the light in the first place."
He waited for your response, but you offered none. Not unless you included your suspicion.
"Look, business has been rough lately since the incident, and helping you seems like the best way to restore people's faith in me."
"And thus the truth comes out."
You were so proud of yourself for sussing him out. What you didn't know is that that wasn't the truth–like at all. He didn't give a fuck what the other students thought of him, especially since he was still getting business regardless. This was about you and spending time with you, the strange, magicless student that had caught his attention like a worm on a hook. Buy to you, that would be even harder to believe than an act of true goodwill.
But that didn't matter anyway, because he had you. You agreed to help him out of the goodness of your heart–taking the opportunity to mock him. It was difficult for Azul to keep the smirk from his face as you fell into his hand. He could tell the twins felt the same way. Even if he couldn't see then standing behind him, he could still tell when Jade's gloved hand went to cover his smile, and when Floyd's slight sway stilled just enough to zero in on you.
With that, a deal had been made: you let Azul help you out of the "goodness of his heart," and you spread the word of Azul's redemption arc.
As soon as you're gone, Azul lets an easy smirk spill onto his face like oil in water.
"We got 'em boys."
What would follow is a series of study sessions, every night, either with Floyd, Jade, or Azul himself. Study session with Floyd rarely involve studying. Sometimes you would start with studying, but he’d always end up getting bored at some point, and then declare you two would be doing something else. Other times, you wouldn’t even get a chance to study, as he’d already be dragging you off somewhere before you can even set your stuff down. Floyd, being Floyd, ‘something else’ could include anything depending on his mood. Some examples of activities you’ve done during study sessions with Floyd: karaoke, ping pong, pottery, a treasure hunt all over the school for something Floyd lost a while ago and had suddenly remembered at that moment (it was in his pocket), ballroom dance classes, shopping, video games, baking. You don’t even bring any study materials with you at this point.
Jade and Azul are more what you’d expect from tutors.
Jade’s method of tutoring is hands off. He mostly just has you do your homework while he sits across from you, working on his own stuff. And if you don’t have homework or finish before study time is up, he’ll give you readings and practice assignments to do. He encourages you to ask him questions whenever you have them, but for the most part, you two are silent. What you don’t realize is that he actually spends most of the time just staring at you. Studying you.
Azul is more hands on. Like with Jade, youre expected to either work on a class assignment, or one of Azul’s specially crafted study guides. Unlike Jade, who always sits across from you, Azul sits—or, more often, stands—next to you. Instead of just silently watching you work, Azul works you through each problem. He’ll often end up hovering next to you, sometimes taking your writing hand in his to guide you through whatever problem you’re working on. He also offers coffee/tea/snack breaks, where you two can just talk, not just about schoolwork, but anything else.
You’re spending every night with one of them. You often get back to Ramshackle late (especially if it was a session with Floyd). You don’t see Horns as much, if at all. Study sessions with your freshman friends become almost nonexistent. Even Grim is starting to see less and less of you everyday.
Who you end up spending the most time with is, of course, the Octotrio. Not just for nightly study sessions anymore. Floyd will approach you outside of tutoring for fun activities. Jade often offers you treats for doing so well, including trips to Sam’s and lunch at Mostró Lounge—all on him, of course. And Azul often pops in to check in on you—to make sure you’re holding up your side of the deal. And, even if you don’t realize it, there’s always at least one of them waiting to walk you to class.
It’s no secret that Azul basically always has business on the brain. And this? This was his strategic move to monopolize you, and he got you hook, line, and sinker.

Chaos in Their Bones Ch. 3
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series
Synopsis: All your life you’d listened to your friend, Usopp spin wild tales about pirates and adventure. Pirates weren’t a thing that came often to Syrup Village, but one straw hat pirate and his crew changed all that the day they arrived. Now, you aren’t so sure if your sleepy little village was always pirate-free or if no one had been paying attention.
Pairing: Roronoa Zoro x Reader
Genre: friends to lovers, frenemies to lovers, slow burn (I hope y’all like aching) eventual smut
Words: 12.6+
A/N: Guys. Idk where to start, but this chapter needs a warning because it is big and beefy. I didn’t want the 1.03-1.04 story arc to be dragged out further into 4 chapters and, because of that, this chapter exists. I truly hope it is one that you enjoy. It took a lot of time and love. So please, get out some 🍿 cause it’s going to be a ride. P.S. To everyone who has liked, commented, reblogged, and sent me messages about Chaos in Their Bones: thank you. You have all made this such a wonderful experience and a fun one. I hope it continues to be one you enjoy 🖤 Much Love, Jenn

So far Operation Petty was getting off to a rough start.
Your original plan of stealing every glass of wine Zoro poured seemed like a good one. Golf claps for everyone. Except, that good idea slowly began to disappear five glasses ago.
Unfortunately for you, and to the dismay of the entire table, you were a giggling mess.
After the sixth glass you were lucky you could even see straight. It wasn’t until after Zoro poured the next glass and slid it over to you the wheels in your head finally added all the small clues you’d missed. Zoro had let you think you’d stolen glass after glass of his wine. When in reality, he’d just been trying to get you drunk.
Zoro was already on his fourth bottle of wine and still seemed able to function like a person.
You leaned, not so gracefully, over to his side of the table. A “Psst,” hiccuping out of you to garner his attention. You knew you had it. He was just hiding a majority of his face inside the glass.
Just to make sure though - “Psst!”
“Ugh, Doc, we can all hear you,” Usopp said somewhere behind you.
You waved him off. Your eyes honed in on both Zoro’s.
“What do you want?” He hummed.
“Hey, Mosshead,” you snapped. That got his head to swivel an inch away from the safety of the glass. “You did this on purpose.”
You were leaning so far forward your cheek was almost flush with your arm. Your fingers wiggled near him and you watched as his eyes darted down to watch them before side-eyeing you.
“Yup,” he answered, sharply pronouncing the p. “You want to steal my wine as payback, well I can drink you under the table.” You weren’t expecting him to drop the glass and move towards you. The movement wasn’t huge, but he was closer than you anticipated and it made you scared to blink. “I can be petty too.”
Fuck.
He was so close - almost kissably close and - No! Why are you thinking of kissing at a time like this? When Zoro’s close enough you could see the sun kissed freckles that dusted over the top of his cheeks and nose. The playful glint in his eyes that brightened them to shine like mini constellations.
With a devious smirk sliding across his lips, Zoro regarded you one last time before he straightened up. His hand reaching out to take back the glass he’d previously sat down and brought it back up to his lips.
“You are diabolical,” you huffed.
When you went to straighten up, you felt your world tilt. You were going to need - “Can I get some water, please?”
You needed to sober up and fast. Inwardly, you could already hear your inner monologue being set up to chastise your childish behavior. You were so worried about Zoro and annoying him that it was all you focused on.
I’m not here for him.
You’d come with Usopp with the goal in mind to help Kaya. That was who you’d come here for and who you still had every intention to help. The plan to do so was still there, but somehow within the last few hours you’d allowed yourself to be distracted by a pretty face.
A soft cough from Kaya’s direction was all the clarity necessary to get your head back on straight. Or as straight as it could be in your current state. No more Zoro. No more looking at him, talking to him, looking at him-
You could sense him moving off to your right, but you were not going to look. Nope. Most definitely not going to look, but was your head tilting?
Drunk you seriously needed to work on some self-control.
You were heavily lost in your head again. So lost that you weren’t sure how many times Luffy or anyone else attempted to bring you into a conversation. It wasn’t until a gentle hand on your shoulder jolted you back into the present.
Looking to your left, you saw Usopp waiting for you to answer him. His concern etched into every scrunch of his face.
“Luffy asked how long you’ve been a doctor,” he offered slowly, as if he spoke too fast he’d lose you again.
“Well, technically, I’m a doctor-in-training.”
“So, not a real doctor.”
Of course, Zoro just had to butt in. You still weren’t going to look at him.
“I am a doctor. Naan has taught me over the years how to handle every illness and broken bone that has come through this village. I think one of the biggest things she’s taught me is that sometimes kindness can be the strongest medicine and other times defending those who can’t defend themselves is a bigger responsibility.”
“Wow,” Luffy smiled in response. “You must have helped a lot of people. Your grandma must be really proud of you.”
Luffy looked so…genuine. The very thought of you going out of your way to help others seemed to make him regard you differently. While the smile on his face wasn’t expansive and filled with its usual childlike mischief, it held one of praise. As if it was a rare thing for someone to have the drive to help another person. Maybe over the last decade or so that might have been true, but Naan didn’t raise you to turn a blind eye to those in need.
You couldn’t help but respond to Luffy’s smile with one of your own. Although, you hoped it didn’t wilt as you prepared yourself with your reply.
“She’s an orphan,” Sham interjected as she set down a dinner plate that was intricately decorated with fish and vegetables. “Usopp too. Isn’t that right?”
Not true. Orphan meant that there had been no one there for you. No family to help take care of you when you needed protection, and while Naan wasn’t your real grandma she was family because she chose to be.
You dropped your hands down into your lap and could feel your fingers curl into your palms.
“What does it matter if they’re orphans or not?” Your eyes narrowed in on Nami. She sat beside Luffy, opposite of Usopp, and her cool gaze was trained on Sham. She watched closely while Sham placed the next plate hastily down in front of Usopp. “I’m curious to hear your answer.”
“Forgive my staff, Miss,” Klahadore stepped in. “Sham spoke out of turn when it was not her place.”
“I’m sure she meant no harm, Klahadore.”
Kaya smiled up at him and he responded with a smile of his own. You hated how Kaya was always apologizing for everyone around her, especially for those who didn’t deserve it.
“I don’t think that’s true,” Nami continued. “If she didn’t mean to say it she would’ve kept her mouth shut.”
“It’s not that big of a deal, guys,” Usopp offered.
You weren’t surprised to see him looking at Kaya. The two of them shared a small smile between them and it took everything in you not to lightly smack him on the arm. If Kaya wanted to be peacemaker, Usopp would do everything in his power to play along. Anything Kaya wanted Usopp would make sure he did everything in his power to make sure it happened.
What felt worse was that Sham’s attempt at an insult did bother you. It was meant to remind you that they considered you nothing, which was odd coming from waitstaff and a butler.
A doctor to pirates was about as valuable as gold.
“Yeah, not a big deal,” you mumbled. Your fingers riddled with your fork; debating if eating Buchi’s food was worth the risk. With your luck they probably poisoned it. “I do hope I make her proud someday, Luffy. I still have a lot to learn.”
Luffy was already a mouthful deep into his plate and wasn’t showing any reservation in taking another hardy bite. Thank god he waited to swallow first before he replied, “The fact you came here to help Kaya tells me all I need to know. You’re a good person, Doc.”
“That’s very kind of you, Luffy. Thank you.”
God, I will not cry right now.
Why did random words of kindness - from a stranger - matter so much? Luffy didn’t owe you any act of kindness or to bother being so nice to you or Usopp. Yet, here he was being an actual ball of sunshine. You knew dozens of people in this town who disregarded Usopp and his stories. Who grumbled and complained when he started talking. Luffy had only treated him with respect: he listened to his stories no matter how bat shit crazy they must have sounded.
You knew Luffy and his friends would eventually leave but for the time they were here (besides Zoro) you were grateful.
“It says a lot about who you are. You’re a good person.”
You felt your smile wilt a little as you watched a few flecks of food fall out of his mouth as he spoke. Flying food aside, you were really starting to count yourself lucky that Luffy and his friends ended up in your sleepy little village.
Sham was still depositing plates of tonight’s only special when you heard Kaya ask if she could try some. She’d barely finished asking before Klahadore was there beside her.
“I’m sorry that won’t be possible, Miss Kaya. You know how certain foods affect your constitution. Here,” he waved his hand free from his chest ushering in Buchi. “Buchi has prepared your special soup.”
“Why is it blue?” You blanched.
When all eyes turned to regard you, you realized you hadn’t said that in your head. The wine was seriously starting to make your body too comfortable.
“It’s made with a special fruit,” Buchi growled back.
“What’s the name of the fruit? I’ve skowered this entire island top to bottom with Naan and have never seen a fruit that color here.”
“It’s imported.”
“From where-“
“It’s not important where her food comes from,” Klahadore interrupted. Each word was more forced than the last. “All that matters is it helps Miss Kaya.”
“If that was true then why is she still sick?”
Klahadore’s eyes were practically shooting daggers into your skull. You were willing to bet a million berry’s that if he got you alone in a room, you wouldn’t be making it out. That thought only seemed to ignite something inside you that you’d been pushing down for months.
You rolled your tongue along your bottom teeth as you struggled to reign in your temper. The wine made your blood warm and fuzzy, but now you felt as if you were boiling alive. Your legs were bouncing uncontrollably underneath the table and your hands were curling into fists-
Suddenly a hiccup of a gasp lodged itself in your throat. The tip of a shoe was pressed gently against your ankle and the tip of said shoe belonged to the very moss-headed oaf who’d been plaguing your every waking minute. Yes, you said you weren’t going to look at him, but you didn’t expect him to touch you. Even just this small amount.
When you did glance at him, Zoro didn’t return your stare. His eyes were trained solely on Klahadore with a slight draw of his brow confirming your suspicions. Zoro was starting to notice something was off with Klahadore too and was warning you.
“Kaya it’s your birthday. You should be able to eat whatever you want.”
Nami’s soft voice cut through the tension and brought Klahadore back to the present. His eyes glazed back with mock servitude, but you’d seen it. Maybe now so had Zoro. Your eyes were only for Klahadore as you watched the exchange between him and Nami. You loved the way she was sticking up for Kaya and the challenge in her eyes as she stared him down-
“You need to relax.”
Fuck.
You struggled to keep a shudder from making its way down your spine but you weren’t so lucky in keeping the soft gasp from trickling out from your lips. The husk of his voice was unnecessarily sexy.
Slowly, you turned to look to your right and found Zoro casually sitting back in his seat. His eyes trained forward and his hands took his silverware as if he hadn’t just whispered across your skin like sin.
You couldn’t think past what had just happened. It didn’t matter how much you tried to formulate a sentence. Your brain was just not having it. You could do this. You were an intelligent woman who was not easily swayed.
“What?”
A masterful reply.
Zoro looked at you from his peripherals before placing the napkin down into his lap.
“I would stop antagonizing him before he kicks you out.”
And here you thought he was just worried about you.
“I’m a doctor and Kaya needs me.”
“Has she told you that? Has she physically looked at you and specifically asked for you to save her or do you just need to feel important?”
“Why are you such an asshole?!”
You spoke every word through gritted teeth. The anger that Zoro erased by killing your brain cells, which now felt like an insult to yourself, was stoked back to life. Your body singed with the need to get a hold of him because - who the fuck talked to people like this?
What you hadn’t expected was for that anger - god, that hurt - to soak deeply into your words. Each one raised and sharp with the intention he knew you meant it.
Zoro didn’t respond. He just started eating his fish. You suddenly didn’t feel hungry.
“Are you okay?”
You didn’t want to look at Usopp. Not when he sounded like that. What would happen if you did? Would you cry or scream that you weren’t? The panic you’d been shoving down the last few hours was beginning to weasel its way to the surface. You were running out of options and ideas on how you could help. What if Zoro was right? What if Kaya didn’t need you and you’d allowed yourself to be dragged into a story that wasn’t real?
The thought alone was enough to make you look at your best friend and the panic was replaced with guilt. The shame was enough to make the first sharp prick of tears threaten to spill free from your eyes. Usopp didn’t deserve your anger or your doubt. He may have told a lot of stories, but he was good. His heart was pure. You weren’t worried about whether or not you smiled at him if he could tell you were lying. You knew somehow Usopp would understand your frustration.
“Yeah, Usopp everything is alright.”
He side-eyed Zoro over your shoulder before he brought his attention back to the room. Clearing his throat, he looked over at Luffy and asked, “Luffy, isn’t there something you wanted to talk to Kaya about?”
“Ah, yes. Usopp tells me that you own the whole shipyard.”
Kaya smiled gracefully in reply, before she looked away. A sadness creeping into her voice.
“Well, actually, my parents founded the shipyard, and Merry’s been running the business since…well since they passed.” You watched as Luffy followed her words and glanced over to the man sitting at the table. A courtesy raise of his glass to salute the dead. For a split second, all the joy in Luffy was replaced by something that didn’t seem to fit. A melancholy that didn’t belong. “But all that’s about to change. At midnight tonight I will become sole owner.”
“Ah well, that’s great because we want to buy a ship from you.”
Now this was the Luffy you’d grown to know. All smiles and cheerfulness like a rainbow as he lifted his champagne glass and took a sip.
“I see,” Kaya responded in kind. “Usopp mentioned that you were sailors.”
“Nope, not sailors. Pirates.”
Your head spun sharply back in his direction. He seemed so happy about what he just said. Like it wasn’t the worst kind of omission that could get you all killed or arrested by the local Marines. Usopp definitely had a reason to be choking on his own drink.
You glanced at Nami and back at Zoro and both of them, respectfully, looked worried as shit.
“Pirates?”
“Yep. We haven’t sailed together for very long, but we have already defeated an evil clown, raided a marine base, and taken down a Marine captain with an axe for a hand!”
“Usopp, what is he talking about?” You whispered sharply over to him.
Usopp was still covered in his own spit as he furiously tried to wipe it off. The worry evident in the fine creases in his forehead as he glanced around the room.
“I don’t-“
“These sound a lot like your adventures, Usopp,” Kaya mentioned lovingly.
“Yeah. It’s crazy.”
Kaya thought that Luffy was joking! While you were sure Luffy meant what he was saying you were also incredibly confused. Pirates weren’t nice. The ones you’d met a few times had forced Naan to help them. They’d been rough, mean, and downright nasty. Luffy was none of that.
“Oh yeah, and we are just getting started!” Unexpectedly, Luffy stood up in his chair and began to stand on the table.
“What are you doing?” Klahadore snapped as he came forth from the shadows. “Get down from there this instant!”
“Being a pirate has been my dream for as long as I can remember and I’m finally going to make it a reality. We are heading off to the grand line where even more adventures await us.” With an eager smile gracing his lips, drink in hand, Luffy began to walk his way down to where Kaya sat. “At the end of the journey I’m gonna find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece and become King of The Pirates.”
When he got to Kaya Luffy stopped and took one last sip of his drink before handing it off to Klahadore. You would honestly pay to have this moment replay in a time loop, it was so damn good. Besides the fact that, you know, they were pirates.
“Kaya, you have a beautiful ship out there. A caravel with a sheep figurehead. It spoke to me. That is the ship we need to follow our dreams. I promise we will take care of it. Maintain it. Because a ship isn’t just a vessel; it’s also a home.”
It felt like such a genuine moment. Luffy didn’t appear to be like every pirate you’ve ever met. They were usually selfish, ugly, and cruel men who found pleasure in others misfortunes or creating them themselves. Even now, after his confession, it wasn’t the vibe you got from Luffy, and that’s what made it all the more confusing.
“That will be quite enough!” Your body gave a jump in surprise as Klahadore screamed. His body thundering over to stand next to Kaya. “I should’ve known Usopp would bring rift raft to our doorstep.”
“Klahadore it’s okay-“
Kaya tried to defend them, but a violent coughing fit cut her short. Usopp edged toward the end of his seat noticeably wanting to get up and go to her. The both of you knew if he made any moves right now, unfortunately, who knew what this butler would do.
“Now look at what you’ve done. You’ve all upset Miss Kaya. I want you all out of here, at once!”
“No,” Kaya interjected. “Let them stay the night.”
“Very well, Miss Kaya. But they are out of here first thing in the morning.”
Stay the night?
“Fuck,” you huffed under your breathe.
You had no intention of staying in this manor with any of them. You turned to tell Usopp you should both head back and noticed the way his puppy dog eyes followed Kaya as Klahadore led her away. He wasn’t going to leave her and maybe that meant you shouldn’t either.
“Well, that went well.”
Luffy really needed to learn to read the room.
You waited for Buchi and Sham to follow after their master before you pushed back your chair and did your best not to trip on any of the tulle at your feet. You needed to get out of this dress immediately. It wasn’t because you were much of a fighter. No, that wasn’t you. However, you did enjoy running from danger and this dress made it damn near impossible.
“Where are you going?”
Luffy and his kaleidoscope of happiness. You wondered what it was like to always be so optimistic.
“I am going back to my room and probably leaving.”
“What?” Usopp turned to look at you. “Why are you leaving.”
“Yeah. What was all that holier than thou talk about helping her,” Zoro cut in.
“Oh, what the hell does it matter to you, anyways?” You snapped. “First, you insult me for trying to help and now you insult me, again, for leaving.”
“Cowards give up when it gets hard.”
Was it physically possible to blow smoke out of your nose? It felt like it as your eyes narrowed in on him. He didn’t even have the decency to look at you.
“Zoro, you got a real stick up your ass,” Nami huffed as she grabbed her glass and took a drink.
“That’s not the real reason she wants to leave” he shot back, eyes on Nami. “Is it? It’s because she heard the word, “Pirates.”
“That’s crazy,” Luffy laughed around the words. “We’re good guys.”
“Pirates are not good guys,” you snapped at him. It was your turn to feel like an asshole as you looked between them. Luffy noticeably hurt. “I have met plenty of pirates when they came looking for Naan and her services. She hid me every single time, because she was scared of what they might do. If they would take me. Doctors are more valuable to pirates than gold. That was the lesson she taught me and I learned it well.”
“Pirates have been to Syrup Village?”
Usopp didn’t seem to grasp the fact that they hadn’t come raiding and he’d have to ring the bell for real. No one knew how close pirates really were to Syrup Village. It was one of the reasons why Naan’s home was hidden so deep within the bamboo forest.
“Yes, Usopp.”
You needed to get away. You were tired - drained - from feeling like you needed to apologize to them. You didn’t know what's real anymore and maybe you were being a coward. Maybe you were just tired of being wrong.
With one last tug on the tulle, you moved away from the table and gave them one quick glance before you headed out towards the dining room doors.
————————————-
It’d been over an hour since you’d made your less than graceful exit from the dining room. Even after getting back into the comfort of your own clothes, it didn’t keep the nagging feeling that you’d been an asshole from clawing its way to the surface.
You had been an asshole.
You’d been pacing the confines of your suite chewing on your nails until you were positive you must have gnawed them into dust. There was no denying Kaya’s home was beautiful. It was everything you could imagine money could buy in the form of creature comforts, but there was no happiness within its walls.
The room you’d been given was more than what you and Naan lived in now. When you’d first been shown inside, you’d felt silly having all this space and having no idea what to do with it. It was all lovely. From the four poster bed with intricate wooden detailing to the velvet curtains that ran the length of the wall that held a window overlooking the garden. The wallpaper, you were positive, held gold within its designs.
It wasn’t the fanciest, but you would take your small home with Naan then stay in a place like this. Speaking of home…
It would be so easy for you to turn tail and run. To go out the front door and never come back but what would you tell Naan? That you never got to see Kaya? That you were unnecessarily rude to a group of people who’d been nothing but friendly (except one) all because their captain called them pirates?
Coward. That’s what Zoro called you. The worst part was maybe he wasn’t wrong. So, ninety-five percent of your plan had gone to shit. You at least still had five percent of it.
Neither Luffy, Nami, or Zoro did anything that warranted your hasty judgment, and nothing they did reflected what you’d been exposed to all your life. What you hated the most was that you could feel the need for an apology brewing in your gut, and if you didn’t do it you would never get any sleep.
After you’d gotten dressed and strapped on much more comfortable shoes, you made your way out of your room and back inside the maze of hallways. You were closing in on the main corridor when the sound of a door opening made you stop in your tracks.
What if it was Sham? You prepared yourself to see her unpleasant face when orange hair wrapped in an orange designed bandanna crept out into the hall.
“Nami?”
She startled as you called her name and turned to face you. The sound of clanking caught your attention and your eyes followed the sound to a very filled pillowcase in her right hand.
You quirked an eyebrow as you asked, “Doing some spring cleaning?”
You watched as her usual friendly demeanor changed into squared shoulders and eyes filled with defiance. It made you feel like you were about to embark on a fight you didn’t realize you were having.
“You want to hurl some more generic insults my way? Tell me how much of a bad person I am-“
Now you were raising your hands up but not in surrender. It was an attempt to quiet her down. You’d already been berating yourself about words, and the power they held to equally heal or destroy someone. How many times had Naan chastised you about being reckless with your words? Reminding you that the things spoken can be enough to heal or mend hearts and bodies, but can also easily break them.
“A healer is more than just someone mending a body, girl. Sometimes we heal by listening. Giving dying men the forgiveness they seek.”
And here you were slinging verbal canon balls at these people.
I’m such an asshole
“Nami! Nami! While I hundred percent deserve that, it’s not what I was going to do.” She didn’t seem like she believed you in the slightest. That was fair. “I was actually on my way to try and find you guys.”
“Why? So, you could tell us some more about how you hate pirates?”
“Okay. That’s fair.”
“Oh, I think that’s more than fair. You are not the only one who hates pirates or holds the lottery for the shittest interactions with them.”
Again, your hands were up. Why did this have to feel like you were with a lion inside of a cage? One wrong move and you were sure she was going to bite your head off.
“I never said that, ok? Did I have a shit reaction to finding out that you were pirates? Yes. That’s why I’m here. I came to apologize to all of you. You defended me tonight at dinner. You didn’t have to do that.”
All the anger that swirled in the gray of her irises began to soften. Good. At least she was no longer looking ready to turn you into literal sashimi.
“Yeah, we’ll, she was acting like a real bitch.”
“Agreed,” you hummed, “but that’s beside the point. You didn’t have to say anything but you did and how did I repay that? By being an asshole so on that note: Nami, I’m sorry.”
Why was she just staring? You thought your heart was going to explode out of your chest at any minute. Nami wasn’t smiling or appeared angry or upset. She was completely stone faced and you were desperately trying not to fidget.
“I think that’s the first time anyone’s apologized to me before.”
“That sucks.”
God, you really did have a way with words. Nami was equally as shocked at your bluntness, but in a way that sent a warm smile to lift the edges of your lips. Nami sputtered out a laugh as she placed her hands on her hips. The motion and sound of clinking whatever was in there reminding you both that she was currently doing something illegal.
“Are you going to say anything? Report me to Klahadore?”
Even just the sound of his name was enough to drop the smile from your face. A sneer replacing it as you replied, “God no. I’d rather just let you steal than say anything to that jackal.”
“You and the waitstaff seem to be big fans of each other,” Nami teased.
It earned her a laugh as you looked down the hallway. Just to be safe since you were both equally unwanted in the manor and, well, Nami had a pillowcase full of the house goodies.
“I suppose you could say that.”
You stuck your hand between you both and waited patiently for her to take it. Nami regarded your hand like it belonged to a sea monster.
“Friends?”
“I don’t have any friends.”
Her words were soft and direct. As if she’d come to terms with being alone for a while now. You didn’t pull your hand away and let it fall back to your side. You kept it suspended between the two of you, and patiently waited for her to feel comfortable enough to take it.
“Well, at least now you’ll know you have one in Syrup village.”
A spark of something ignited in her eyes and whatever it was your words made her think of, it wasn’t something happy. When a small smile curled her lips it didn’t reach her eyes. They stayed distant; mourning something you may never be made aware of.
You felt your breath catch in your throat as Nami reached out her hand and gently grabbed yours. You waited to secure your fingers around her hand, just in case she had second thoughts. When she didn’t pull away you allowed yourself to fully smile at her, which earned you one back.
“Where were you headed to, anyways?”
You both released each other, and you started slowly moving around her to get to the corridor.
“I was going to look around for Luffy. I need to apologize to him too.”
“Check the kitchen. If you’re going to find him anywhere it’s going to be in there.”
“Thank you. You just saved me some time. See you later, Nami.”
You were a few feet away when she called your name. You turned halfway to see her still standing in the same spot you’d left her.
“Are you going to apologize to Zoro?”
“I’m still debating,” you answered truthfully.
You aren’t sure what Nami expected you to say, but apparently that hadn’t been it. She immediately erupted into laughter as she turned and headed to the next room.
You really hoped she wasn’t going to get caught by Klahadore or anyone else. You were positive it would get him all riled up and send him screeching for the marines to come. Maybe even throw in some insults, because that was just the kind of man he was.
It took you longer than you wanted to locate the kitchen and you were considering bringing it up to Kaya about putting signs up around the manor. Ones that let you know with arrows which way to go. Why was it so easy to get lost in such a big house? You were still trying to come up with a way to bring up that little suggestion when you heard Usopp’s voice coming from the kitchen. Usopp was there too? Your curiosity spurred you forward - almost at a sprint - until you heard another voice grumble from the kitchen.
“You don’t think she like - like likes me, do you?”
What kind of conversation were you walking into? You rounded the corner to find Usopp and Zoro staring at one another. Usopp looked hopeful while Zoro regarded him with as much emotion as a rock.
“You’re asking the wrong guy.”
“I would second that, Usopp.”
At the sound of your voice all eyes turned to you.
“Doc! Hey! What brings you to the kitchen?”
Luffy sounded like his usual happy-go-lucky self. He didn’t seem to be holding a grudge or feelings about what had happened only an hour ago between you. All Luffy seemed to care about was the leftover appetizers and being amongst friends.
How could you ever think he was anything like other pirates?
His cheerfulness was contagious and soon you found yourself making your way around to the stairs. Luffy waves you down to join him with an appetizer in hand.
“You didn’t seem to eat at the dinner. You should try some of these. They’re delicious!”
“Are you sure there is any left?”
“Oh, I have some in my pockets if you want those.”
He really was digging through his pocket to pull out some appetizers. You didn’t know why it surprised you so much but you couldn’t keep your laughter from bubbling to the surface.
“It’s okay, Luffy. I appreciate your willingness to share, but I’ll pass for now.”
“You sure? These are really good!”
Just to prove his point, Luffy popped whatever he pulled from his pocket into his mouth. His fingers noticeably tinted with a pink hue from it melting.
“Pretty sure.”
You snagged a stool on the opposite side of Luffy, which unfortunately kept you on the same side as Zoro. Who was actively staring daggers into your skull.
“I actually came to find you so I could apologize.”
“Apologize?”
“For how I acted at dinner.”
“Where’s my apology?”
Zoro’s husky voice cut through your good mood and instantly made you bitter. You turned in your seat to look at him, who was opening and closing drawers every two seconds.
“I’m still debating on if you deserve one.”
Zoro had been opening his next set of cupboard doors when he stopped short. His head tilting the slightest to glance at you over your shoulder. You waited for him to make another smart ass comment and when it didn’t come, well, color you surprised. All you got was a tick of his jaw before he turned back to opening and shutting doors.
“What is he doing?” You asked Usopp.
“He’s looking for something to drink,” Luffy offered up in between his next bite.
Where the hell did he find a chicken leg? You fixed yourself to sit more comfortably on the stool and placed your satchel on the table. You looked between the three men again and remembered what it was they’d been talking about before.
“So, what were you guys talking about?”
Usopp scratched the back of his neck and looked anywhere but at you. What was making him so nervous? You’d been friends since you were kids. There literally couldn’t be anything that embarrassing-
“Usopp is in love with Kaya and wanted to know if we think she’s in love with him too.”
Luffy happily continued to eat the chicken that you still couldn’t figure out where it came from. Usopp, on the other hand, looked like his soul was about to leave his body.
“Sounds about right.”
Your response must have been a shock to Usopp because that’s exactly how he looked. His hand was still nervously fidgeting with his bandana.
“You know?”
You rolled your eyes as you looked around the kitchen island. Maybe you were starting to feel a little bit hungry.
“Usopp, even Naan knows how you feel about Kaya. She called it like two years ago.”
You were still looking for something to eat when Luffy slid a plate with chicken thighs and legs between you. They smelled wonderful and the skin was perfectly crisp. It was garnished with what might have been green onion or chive.
“If you guys are going to talk about feelings I’m seriously going to need a drink.”
“Shocker.”
The few steps Zoro took came to an abrupt end just a few feet from you. You had a piece of chicken thigh between your lips as you made eye contact with his award-winning brooding face. There was a millisecond, as you both looked at each other, that you wondered if he would’ve replied.
“There’s a wine cellar down in the basement.”
“Why didn’t you mention that before?”
Usopp opened and closed his mouth. While he was unsure of what to say, you felt like you had plenty. Usopp didn’t waste another second as he grabbed his satchel off the island and started leading Zoro up the stairs.
“Luffy, you coming?”
“No, you go ahead. I’m going to sit with Doc for a while.”
They were walking on the opposite walkway, high up enough to look down at both of you. Zoro glanced over his shoulder at the both of you and it took every last ounce of control on your body not to stick your tongue out at him.
How odd it was that you felt like you could actually breathe now that he was gone. Sure, you knew you should say sorry to him and, realistically, him calling you a coward was part of the reason you’d stayed. Did you ever want to share that information with him? Hell no.
The man was already insufferable enough. You didn’t need to add to it.
The sound of Luffy’s chair scraping against the floor brought you back to where your attention was needed: Luffy. Not Zoro’s retreating back.
Why did he have to look good from both sides?
Shaking your head to bring you back to why you came there in the first place, you watched as Luffy went back to walking around the kitchen. He kept searching until he came across a bronze pot that was left on the stove. When he lifted the lid you could see the neon blue hue of Kaya’s soup from where you sat.
“What are you doing?”
Luffy turned with the large pot in hand and walked back over to the table. He looked like a child who’d gotten lost in a chocolate factory.
“Eating.”
You felt your brows enter your hairline and possibly the ceiling as you watched Luffy bring the pot to his lips, and begin to gulp the contents down.
“Are you seriously going to eat all of that?”
He took a few rather large gulps before he set the pot down to look at you. A blue mustache formed on his upper lip.
“Soup isn’t my usual choice, but it’s not half bad.”
You tried to shake the smile off your face but failed miserably.
“You know, you don’t need to apologize. I understand being protective of the people you care about.”
The change in topics was giving you mental whiplash. Luffy regarded you with a softness you hadn’t expected. Underneath was that playfulness you’d grown accustomed to, but it was submerged under something serious. Or as serious as Luffy could be. It was the softness you hadn’t expected, however, and you quickly looked down at your hands.
“Naan raised me to admit when I’m wrong, and I was wrong, Luffy.”
“You talk about your Naan a lot.”
“I have a lot of respect for her. She didn’t have to take me in, teach me what she knows, but she did. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to repay her.”
Luffy regarded you coolly as he picked up the pot and took another giant gulp. His mouth was getting bluer by the minute.
“I’m sure she appreciates you helping her, but I don’t think she’d want to keep you from your dream.”
“I don’t have a dream.”
“Everybody has a dream. Mine is to be King of the pirates. Now you say yours.”
Luffy was right. Everyone has a dream. Just not all of them were attainable. There were realistic dreams and unrealistic ones and yours had to be classified under the latter. Luffy’s too.
But who was to say dreams weren’t attainable if you weren’t willing to strive for them?
You inhaled sharply, your words exhaling in rush.
“I want to be one of the world’s greatest doctors. I want to help people. Not just humans, but fishmen and people who have eaten Devil fruits. Their physiology is so changed that no one knows what happens when they get certain wounds.”
“That’s great because I ate the gum gum fruit.”
How could anyone just casually chug an entire pot of soup? Or openly share that kind of information.
“I’m sorry, what was that? Did you just say you ate a Devil fruit?”
“Yup. It turned my body into rubber.”
“I have so many questions.”
“It’s a long story.”
His words came out slurred; as if they sat heavy on his tongue and made it impossible to speak. You watched as he blinked slowly to try and clear his vision and when that didn’t work he went to stand and immediately stumbled backwards.
“Luffy!”
Your body immediately launched itself over the table. You didn’t care that your clothes were covered in a rainbow assortment of food. By the time you’d already made it to his side of the table, Luffy fell back against a cabinet. His body sliding limp to the floor.
“Luffy! What's wrong? Can you tell me what you’re feeling?”
He was obviously lethargic. His pupils blown wide and unable to focus. It sounded like he was trying to answer your previous question, but his tongue had swollen up making none of it audible. You barely reached him before he completely crumbled to the floor. Your hands dove underneath his arms until you pulled him into a bear hug.
Luffy was too damn heavy. If you kept holding him you would end up in a heap together on the floor. With as much strength as you could muster you tried to hoist him onto the table.
“Zoro! Usopp!”
As you pulled him up onto the table, you heard countless silverware and plates crashing to the floor. There was so much commotion surely someone would have to come investigate. You didn’t have time to wait to see if anyone did. After you had him laid out as good as you were going to get him, you rushed over to his head. You pulled up his eyelid and watched as his eye rolled up inside his head.
“Damn it! Zoro! Usopp! Where the fuck are you guys!”
The panic in your voice was tittering on hysteria. You wanted to scream. You definitely were going to start crying if your brain didn’t get it together. Luffy needed you.
You placed two fingers on the artery in his neck. His pulse fluttered against your fingertips and with each beat felt slower than the last. Drawing your hands back you noticed the slight foam that was forming at the corners of his mouth and - “Poison.”
Your eyes zoned in on the now empty pot. Luffy had eaten all of it and whatever was inside was enough to make its effects be instantaneous. It was the same soup they’d given to Kaya. The same color as her tea.
“Son of a bitch!”
They’d been poisoning her this whole time. The only reason she didn’t drop dead in front of them was because she’d never even taken a bite. Every time Usopp told you stories about Klahadore, Buchi, and Sham it always felt off. None of it ever added up and now, now you know why.
Those bastards had been trying to kill her this whole time.
A soft groan huffed from Luffy bringing you back to the very important present. Why hadn’t anyone answered you? It didn’t matter. You needed to help Luffy - Kaya - before it was too late.
“Luffy, I have to go back to Naan’s. I can’t carry you out of here or we won’t make it. I promise I’ll be back. I’m going to save you. I’m going to save Kaya.”
With one last look at Luffy, you tightened the strap on your satchel and bolted for the nearest exit.
——————————
Your lungs were screaming with every breath you took and your muscles burning, threatening to collapse, as you pushed forward. You couldn’t afford to stop running. Not since you left the front door of Kaya’s house. The last time you saw Luffy glued itself to your retinas and refused to let go. A constant reminder that no matter how much your body wanted to give up, you couldn’t let it.
Luffy and Kaya were counting on you.
By the time you passed through the town and started up the hill behind the tree line to Naan’s you were running on fumes. It was probably the reason why you not so gracefully barreled through the front door. Your legs wobble to a shaky halt as you attempt to walk them over to the cupboard that held every tonic known to man.
“Naan! Naan, I need help, please!”
Your voice cracked and melted into the old boards of the house. You were still struggling to catch a breath as you opened the doors to the cupboard. Everything about you felt unstable. Your hands shook as they moved around the bottles, almost toppling them over and threatening to make a bigger mess of your night.
“What in the hell is going on down here?”
Naan’s voice crocked with sleep but her words were full of fire. She was pissed you woke her up, but it was all for a damn good reason. The dim light from her candle grew brighter as she advanced down the stairs.
“Naan, I’m down here. Please, I need your help.”
You rushed to the stars to wait to help her down the rest of the way. The minute she grabbed your hands to help her down, you moved to take her toward the cabinet but she held on tight. She wasn’t budging until you looked at her. She called your name repeatedly to get you to look at her. Why wouldn’t you look at her?
The overwhelming feeling of failure was crashing in on you. You’d known. You knew, in the pit of your stomach, that something wasn’t right with them. You should have fought harder. You could’ve done more and now, now Luffy was dying of a poison Kaya ingested for years and Nami, Usopp, and even Zoro were in danger.
A sob tore its way out from your throat, through your lips, and ended in a guttural scream.
“What in the hell is happening, child?”
“Naan,” you sobbed. “Naan, Luffy has been poisoned-“
“Poisoned?”
“With the same stuff they’ve been giving Kaya for years. Kaya has slowly been poisoned and she’s going to die. We need to help her. I need to help them Naan, please.”
You weren’t sure when it happened. When you were no longer supporting Naan but she was supporting you. Her paper thin hands held your face gently as her thumbs smoothed your tears down. She made you follow her breathing until your breaths were even and slow. Only then did she begin to talk to you.
“Do you know what kind he ingested?”
Fuck.
“No, I-“
Naan held her hand up to stop you. With one hand still supporting her weight on your arm, she came off the last step and moved towards the cabinet you’d massacred. You knew Naan had noticed it too when a displeased click of her tongue filled the silence in the room.
“If you don’t know what it is, it could be tricky. I can give you what I have, but you are going to need to examine them both before you give them anything. Give them the wrong one, and it will kill them as quickly as the poison will.”
Naan calmly went through each bottle. She knew by heart where everything would be. Just like she could blindly feel through ingredients or measure it without actually measuring it. She turned around with five bottles clutched in her hands and shuffled her way back over to you. She motioned for you to open your satchel and placed them one-by-one carefully inside.
“I don’t know if you should be doing this.”
For the first time, you heard the waiver in her voice. She watched as you secure your satchel closed; her eyes trained to the worn leather before she looked back at you. You weren’t expecting her to look so scared. It was your turn to place your hands on her shoulders and give them a soft squeeze.
“You’ve always taught me there is no greater service in life than to serve others. I can’t let them die, Naan.”
“I know,” she smiled sadly. The worry made the wrinkles more severe than before. “It’s just…be careful. Please.”
With another squeeze you did your best to smile at her, to reassure her, before you stepped back.
“I’ll be back, Naan. Don’t you worry.”
You didn’t know that for sure. There was a chance Klahadore or Buchi would spot you before you made it back to Luffy. Who knew what they were doing to everyone while you were here.
With that uncertainty of what could happen stewing in your chest, you leaned forward quickly and planted a kiss on Naan’s cheek before you bolted out the door. This time, your body was prepared for the brutal run back to the manor. You were almost to the edge of town when the bell rang out in warning and moments later the sound of Usopp’s, “The pirates are here!” Ringing out.
At the sound of his voice, you allowed yourself a moment to thank the universe that he was okay. You wanted to stop and turn back to the village. To find Usopp and ask him just to come back with you and the two of you would figure it out together.
Luffy didn’t have that kind of time.
With that truth taking over your thought, you began to pick up the pace. You had a captain to save.
—————————-
The front of the manor was beginning to be covered in the fog that was rolling in from the ocean. This was hands down the creepiest you had ever seen the Manor. It was giving definite horror vibes. The worst part? Even from this far you could see the damn pirate shutters were enabled.
“Fuck!” You screamed.
How in the hell were you going to get inside to help them? Those things were heavy and meant to be impenetrable. There was no way you were going to be able to break it down with a few kicks.
“Think,” you huffed, as your hand slid across your face.
What options did you have? You could go back to find Usopp, but there was a high chance you’d only end up missing each other in passing. You couldn’t just go up to the front door and knock. Not unless, you know, you wanted to die.
You were pacing back and forth when a very loud grunt echoed from the well.
You hadn’t read many horror novels, but the ones you had read, well, this was giving haunted zombie island vibes. You wish you could claim to be unafraid, but when the grunt came again, this time closer and louder than the last, you knew you’d be lying.
So, why were you ever so slowly edging your way towards the well? Curiosity did always kill the cat. Right when you finally got to the edge of the stone, you exhaled to prepare yourself to look over.
Who knows, maybe it was just your imagination overreacting. Right when you went to glance over the side, a hand smacked its way over the top and you felt your soul evacuate your body. A few seconds later, green hair popped over the top that sat on top of a familiar face, but your brain was stuck in fear mode, so when Zoro asked, “Doc?” The only response he’d gotten was your fist connecting with his face.
“What the fuck!”
His scream echoed into the well. You could hear him slipping and knew it was because you’d shoved your knuckles into his cheekbone. Just as he was about to slip, you launched yourself over the side to grab a hold of his arm.
“What the fuck!” Zoro shouted up at you.
“I’m sorry, okay! I thought you were a zombie and oh my god is that a fucking body?!”
You almost let Zoro go as your eyes focused on what looked like very real feet attached to very real legs.
“Yeah. It’s that Merry, guy.”
Zoro grunted as he tried to find purchase for the foot that had slipped. You were struggling to hold him up and each time his foot slipped it seemed to tug you down with him.
“For fuck’s sake, what are you made of bricks?”
“Oh, I’m sorry, is my weight inconveniencing you? If it wasn’t for you I would be out already,” Zoro  growled out each word.
“I said I was sorry, okay! What more do you want?”
You move your hand further down until you reach his elbow. At first, it seemed like a solid plan. Strategically, it was a better option to give you more leverage in helping pull him up. The reality of it was Zoro was sweaty - very sweaty - from climbing about twenty-feet up the inside of a well. The minute your hand clamped down on the lubricated skin, it slipped free.
When he started to come loose from your hands you expected him to scream. All you saw was a grimace as his back slammed into the wall of the well and a glare that could give death a run for his money.
“Just pull me up already and stop screwing around.”
“I am trying but you are a hefty, hefty man,” you stated with each word strained.
Okay. You needed to get serious. You’d allowed his weight to lift your feet off the ground. You swung them back until you could get your toes pressed against the River rock of the well. Your heels were still slightly lifted in the air, but you knew this could work in your favor. You took in a deep breath and began to lean back as hard as you could. It may not have been super comfortable, but it was pulling him up enough that you could hear his boot finally find the footing it needed.
“Okay, you can let go now. I said you can let go-!”
You fully intended to let go. Whatever Zoro had done to help launch himself out, mixed with your pulling, sent you falling backwards.
With Zoro landing directly on top of you.
His weight mixed in with the fall knocked your breath clean out of your lungs. You were trying to get your lungs to expand by letting your body relax so you attempted to think of soothing things. The night sky and her stars were looking incredible tonight. It was the clearest you’d seen them in a while. Too bad it was on a night like tonight.
Zoro slowly lifted his head up from your shoulder, his arms on either side of you, until you were both face-to-face. Suddenly, it felt like the air was knocked out of you all over again.
His skin still held a sheen from his previous excretion of climbing. The edges of his hair was damp with sweat giving him a look that reminded you of when you’d run into him earlier wet from his shower. It shouldn’t have made him look this damn good.
You were painfully aware that he was still between your legs. Zoro was close enough you could feel his stomach extend with each heavy breath he took. Could easily count the freckles that endless days in the sun had kissed on his skin. His lips were parted, eyes scanning your face, and for one devious miscalculation of judgment, you wanted to fist your fingers in his shirt and pull him towards you to see if his lips were as soft as you imagined.
Nope. Nooooope!
That moment was enough to bring you crashing back to reality. Plus, Luffy. Kaya.
You smack his chest for good measure. Just to let him know you meant it when you said, “Are you trying to crush me to death? Get off me!”
“Don’t gotta tell me twice,” he grunted.
Once he was up, you expected him to stick his hand out to help you up. Instead, he was already walking in the opposite direction of what appeared to be away from the house.
“Hey! Where are you going?”
You scrambled up from your spot and hurried to try and catch up with him. Your hands rearranging your satchel to make sure your bottles weren’t crushed.
“I’m going back to the house.”
“Yeah, so am I but the house is back this way.”
Zoro stopped for a split second to look behind you before deciding what you offered was wrong.
“How about we split up and figure out who was right?”
“Fat chance, Mosshead.”
You fell into step beside him and you were positive if Zoro could’ve, he would’ve thrown you down the well. Just to make sure you stayed away from him. If this was a different time, one where you didn’t just pull him from a well where a dead body was, Luffy wasn’t poisoned, and Kaya and Nami were in danger you would have steered clear of him. So, unlucky for you both, you were newfound partners in unfortunate crime.
Neither of you spoke a word as you continued to walk down the path. You were pretty sure that Zoro was sending you the wrong way. You were two seconds away from telling him he was most definitely wrong, and you’d been most definitely right, until you both observed something up ahead.
Was that marines? And were they carrying- “Luffy,” you said in a hush tone.
Zoro saw it too. Two marines were carrying his limp body between them until he launched himself forward and began vomiting in the trees. It shouldn’t be possible. Poison when ingested - by anyone - was fatal. Even with as much vomiting he was doing it shouldn’t be possible. And yet, you saw it happening.
It has to be the Devil fruit…
Zoro waved for you to hide inside the bamboo but you brushed him off. As quietly as you could, you reached down and grabbed a fallen bamboo branch. You made sure you had a good grip on the bottom as you made your way quietly forward.
They were arguing between themselves. One of them with an extremely terrible haircut was holding a gun to the other with glasses and back to Luffy. The two spare marines were just standing watching and-
With as much force as you could muster, you smacked the one on the left on the side of his head. Zoro just used his fist for the other one. At the sound of their bodies falling, bad haircut turned around and when he saw Zoro walking towards him he turned sheet white.
“Zoro!” Luffy called happily as he got to his feet. “And Doc?”
You scratched the back of your head as you watched Zoro knock out bad haircut in one punch.
“Yeah. I came back to rescue you. Surprise,” you joked, throwing your hands up in mock celebration.
“Thanks. Come on. We need to get back to the house.”
Without another word, Luffy pressed between you and started making his way back towards the house. You side-eyed Zoro to see if he was paying attention, because Luffy had just proven you were right. You opened your mouth to tease him when a soft shout of Luffy’s name sent you all turning to see who it was.
They stood in front of you - pale as moonlight - and a little frightened with black rimmed circle glasses and pink hued hair. You weren’t sure who they were but all you needed to know was that they knew Luffy by name.
“Koby, I know you got a job to do. But I’m going to go back and help my friends. Don’t try and stop me.”
Yup. Luffy was officially the most polite pirate you’d ever met.
Koby gave Luffy the smallest of nods. A silent affirmation that he wouldn’t be following suit. You had so many questions about what happened between everyone tonight and would make sure to ask later. If given the chance.
Adjusting his hat back on his head, Luffy turned and started sprinting down the path. Zoro gave you one last look before he ran after him with his hands securely holding onto his swords. A soft groan left you as your feet padded along like the little engine that could.
“Ugh, why are we doing more running? I hate running.”
No one answered you and that was fine. You were going to need as much air as you could trying to keep up with the two of them.
——————————-
Zoro and Luffy were at the door when you came up. The two of them looked at the giant metal shudder. You were ready to tell them there wasn’t going to be any other way inside the house when Zoro bent down on one knee and worked his fingers underneath.
“That’s not going to work.”
Luffy turned to you with a wide smile.
“You don’t know Zoro.”
As if on queue, Zoro let out a grunt and began to push the shudder up. No way. It shouldn’t have been possible for him to even remotely lift it an inch. Usopp told you hundreds of times that pirate shudders were over six-hundred pounds of metal. They were meant to withstand canon balls and here Zoro was lifting it to his waist.
Luffy grabbed a statue and placed it underneath the shudder allowing Zoro to let go, and kick the double doors open. Luffy wasted no time in bending down and looking inside to make sure they could enter without interruption. When he was sure it was clear, he moved inside and Zoro shortly followed. Luffy went to shut the doors when you quickly moved inside.
“Doc, I think you should wait outside.”
“Fuck that,” you seethed. “These are my friends too, Luffy. I’m not leaving until I know they’re safe.”
Why was he smiling?
“Alright, but we split up. Cover more ground that way.”
Neither of them wasted any time taking off in their respective directions. It wasn’t until they were gone that you realized you didn’t have a clue where to go and what were you supposed to do if you found them.
You let out a huff of air that ended in a raspberry as you decided to go down the opposite side of the corridor than Zoro. You may not have any abilities from eating Devil fruit or be insanely good with swords, but you did have your wits. Yeah. That’s what was going to save you. Wits.
Maybe you could just go back to the kitchen and see if the pot was still there. If it was, you’d have a chance to  get samples of what Buchi had laced inside the soup. In Kaya’s tea. God, just thinking about it pissed you off all over again.
If the house felt eerily quiet before, it felt even worse now. All signs of life were completely drained from the halls to the point your own breathing felt too loud in the large space. You were tempted to make noise, to call out for Zoro like playing a game of Marco Polo. Probably wouldn’t have been one of your best ideas in a house full of homicidal waitstaff.
When you got to the kitchen you made a quick note that the bronze pot in question was missing. Of course they wouldn’t have kept it. It was evidence of a plot they’d spent three years perfecting, but you just needed to search to be sure.
Quickly, you made your way around to the stairs and into the step down of the kitchen. Someone had done the dishes. It was all gone. You tried not to allow the bitterness of that thought to settle, but damn if it wasn’t hard. How were you going to be able to know what treatment to start giving Kaya if you didn’t have anything to base it off?
You looked around the kitchen one last time when the sounds of fighting erupted somewhere in the distance. It could be Luffy or Zoro. Hell, it could be one of the other three too. Either way, it didn’t matter who it was. You were going to help them.
First things first…
You looked quickly around the kitchen. There wasn’t much in the way of weapons that were going to strike fear in the hearts of anyone. You saw a tiny pot that was sitting on the sink counter and rushed forward to grab it by the handle. As soon as you knew you had it, you bolted back up the stairs and towards the main lobby.
The closer you got the more intense the fighting became. Swords. Those definitely sounded like swords, which meant it was Zoro fighting, but also someone else with swords. And here you were bringing a pot to a sword fight.
You weren’t given a chance to backtrack on your choice of weapon. The minute you came out from the French double doors that lead back into the foray of the house, you watched as Zoro fought off Buchi and Sham.
You never saw a real swordsman or met one for that matter. It wasn’t like Syrup village was brimming with up and coming anything, really, but as you watched Zoro effortlessly move between blocking and attacking you were willing to bet no one compared to him.
You were so caught up in gawking that you weren’t aware that Buchi and Sham were made aware of your presence until they hissed at you. Hissing? Really? You could feel a smart ass comment brewing, but now didn’t seem like the appropriate time to say it. Buchi was who turned on you first with Sham still attacking Zoro. She had her back to you, and when she came up from a missed swing you rushed forward and launched the small pot at the back of her head.
The sound of it connecting with its intended target resonated through the room. Sham’s head was as hollow as you thought.
Everything slowed down for a second as you all waited to see what would happen. Luckily for you, the result was Sham falling face first into the hardwood completely passed out.
“Holy shit. It worked! Zoro, did you see that!”
“You little bitch!”
How the hell did you forget about Buchi? He came stomping towards you causing the floor to shake as he did. You were getting ready to bolt in the opposite direction when Zoro jumped in the way. You took that as your queue to move.
You dashed toward where Sham’s body had fallen and kicked away her sword and - wait, was that a broom handle? You no longer felt embarrassed about using a pot.
Taking hold of the unconscious Sham, you began to move her more towards the front door. Zoro finished with Buchi with ease and knocked him unconscious. It didn’t dawn on you that something was different about him until he dragged Buchi over to where you’d placed Sham. Zoro was wearing a black bandana. And no, you did not notice how the veins in his arms were very much showing.
“We should get some rope to tie them up.”
“Good idea.”
By the time everyone made it down, Buchi and Sham had regained consciousness and you and Zoro were sitting far apart.
There was no denying when you saw them all come down the stairs, a relief so intense flooded your veins and soaked into your bones. When Usopp hugged you, you allowed yourself to hug him back just a little bit tighter.
A part of you knew that the adventures of yesterday would come to an end back in the shipyard. It would end with Kaya giving Luffy that ship he’d so lovingly given his speech for, and more so knew Luffy would ask Usopp to go with him.
It was Usopp’s dream - his real dream. Part of that dream was experiencing the freedom that the sea offered, just like his dad did. How could you ever ask someone you considered your friend - your best friend - to stay just because you weren’t ready to part with them? No. Usopp deserved adventures as grand as his stories.
While he’d been talking to Kaya you’d taken the opportunity to slip away. It’s not that you weren’t happy for him, because you were. The idea of not having him around anymore, however, began to dig a hole in your soul. So, you went to the one place that always mended it.
You were sitting with Naan at the kitchen table folding linens with water boiling on the stove and ingredients beside it. You were still waiting for Kaya to come by so you could perform an assessment. Before you could treat her, you would have to find out how extensive the damage was, and what would be the best form of treatment.
“So, Usopp’s going to be going, then?”
You didn’t expect Naan to sound sad. While she wasn’t mean like the rest of the village, she most definitely was not a fan of rising early just to hear the bell and the yelling.
“Yeah. They should already be out to sea.”
You were folding your next set of linens when Naan reached out and gently took your hand in hers. The act stops you from finishing the next fold.
“It’s all going to work out the way that it should, child.”
“I know, Naan.”
A knock on the door rescued you from having to continue whatever talk was brewing in Naan. It saved you from more than likely crying like a baby on her shoulder too. You got up from your chair and made your way over to the door when another knock came seconds before you reached it.
“Kaya, I’m coming! God, are rich people always so impatient?”
When you swung the door open, you hadn’t expected to find Luffy there smiling or the rest of the crew waiting behind him. Kaya was plainly missing from the group.
“Who is it, child?”
You felt too dumbfounded to speak. Why were they here?
“It’s alright, Naan,” you called over your shoulder, eyes still glued to Luffy. “It’s just Luffy.”
“Luffy?”
“Straw hat.”
The sound of her chair sliding back against the wood was what tore your gaze away. You looked back to find Naan struggling to get to her cane with her left hand holding her weight up by the table. You moved back from the entrance, waving him in as you rushed over to grab her cane and hand it to her.
“What are you guys doing here? I thought you’d be gone by now.”
“We were about to head out when the strangest thing happened.” You crossed your arms as you listened to Luffy. The cliff hanger his words left you on threatened to drop fresh anxiety into your gut. “I turned to get my crew onboard and realized my doctor was missing.”
“What?” You breathed.
“That’s you.”
You closed your eyes for a split second as you tried to collect your thoughts.
“Luffy, I wouldn’t make a good pirate.”
“You don’t have to be. Just like with Usopp, I saw what you did. The way you fought to protect people. I need you in my crew.”
You dropped your arms as you turned to regard Naan. The way her body leaned heavily on the cane. Her once strong body was becoming more frail by the day. You couldn’t leave her.
You swallowed hard before you replied, “Luffy, that is a splendid offer. One I don’t think anyone could pass up but I can’t leave.”
“Why the hell not?” Naan fired off.
“Naan-“
“And if you say it’s because of me, just remember you aren’t too old for me to throttle you with my cane.”
She finally pushed her hip from the side of the table and waddled over to the rack that held your satchel. Naan reached up and pulled it down, turning slowly until you came back into view, and tossed the satchel in your direction.
“What are you doing?”
“What does it look like? You know, for being smart you sure can be dumb sometimes.”
Your eyes looked down at the satchel in your hands. You rubbed the worn leather with your thumbs as you remembered her giving you this very bag on your thirteenth birthday. The pricks of tears came unannounced and most definitely unwanted a few moments later. It made you terrified to look up. For her to see that saying goodbye might kill a piece of you, you’d never get back.
You’d never get her back either.
“Naan-“ You tried to speak but your voice cracked around her name. “Who is going to take care of you if I’m gone?”
A tsk of disbelief shot from her lips. Both her hands now came to rest on top of the cane as she regarded you coolly.
“I’ve been an old woman for a long time now. I think I can manage without you.”
“See - it’s settled,” Luffy began. “You are welcome to join our crew and that way you don’t have to give up on your dream.”
He remembered?
How silly that question was. He was Monkey D. Luffy. Of course, he was going to remember. Glancing down at the satchel in your hands once more you allowed yourself to debate one last time before you grabbed the strap and placed it over your shoulder.
Before you took that first step towards the door, you turned one last time to Naan and took one of her hands in yours. You tried to tell yourself you wouldn’t cry. You never cried, but the first tear slid down your face and called you a liar.
“Please, take care Naan. You’ve done so much for me, my whole life. If it wasn’t for you I don’t know where I would be.”
“Dead,” she stated matter-of-factly.
It was so blunt. So incredibly Naan that you couldn’t stop the sharp bark of laughter that came from you. The soft feather of her hand reached up to cup your face and forced you to look at her. A long silence pulled between you, and you wondered if she was going to say anything at all when a soft smile cracked her thin lips.
“Go, child. Be great.”
Shaking your head in agreement, the both of you broke free and you followed Luffy out of the house. You spared one last glance at Naan’s home - your home - and found her at the door seeing you off. You raised your hand in one last goodbye and watched as she did it too.
Maybe Luffy was right. It was time to go on your own adventure and you had no doubt Luffy and his crew were going to give it to you.

Dave slowly becomes a sex addict after you fuck him on the daily. Part 1
Tumblr media
Dave truly didn’t know what hit him the day he found you in the copy room humping his jacket. He certainly wasn’t prepared to actually be fucked daily, and to be honest, he couldn’t stop thinking about it anymore. He was now used to fucking you daily, more than once, being taken out of class by you posing as someone who helped the office to take him out and pull him to fuck somewhere in the school.
Today, though, was different. He had been squirming in his seat all day, desperately trying to calm down his raging boner. These past few days you both had been having sex, it was beautiful and amazing and passionate, it was something you both had basically become addicted to.
Tumblr media
Sex with you was different than what he would have ever expected to have loved so much. It was exhilarating with you, fueling him day and night with energy until it was replenished the next time he was able to fuck you, push his cock so deep inside of your perfect cunt he couldn't stop thinking about-
"Hi Ms. Grey, the office needs David Lizewski again. This time it's for early release." Your voice made him stand up immediately, grabbing his bag and walking toward the door.
“Make sure you finish the chapter, Dave!” She yelled, but he truly wasn’t listening when he pushed you into an empty classroom.
“David? What’s wrong?” Over the past few months, you had gotten more attached to him other than seeing him as just your sex partner, and you had never seen him like this before.
“I-I can’t stop!” He whined, bucking his hips against your cunt as you gasped. “I can’t stop thinking about fucking you, holy shit I was humping my desk before you came in there… I swear, I’ve cum like four times today, I need to fuck you.”
His words make you laugh, gasping as he tucked under your jaw to press kisses to your cheek and down your neck, desperate and needy as he rushed to unzip his pants as he started lifting up your skirt. "L-Let me fuck you, Y/N, please?"
"D-David, as much as I want to - fuck - have sex with you right now, there's supposed to be a class coming in here soon and we have to leave." You panted as he whined, pulling away as he pouted up at you. "But I pulled you out of class... for the entire day, and it's a Friday. So, we have all weekend to fuck and get high and just fuck."
Dave smiled as you zipped up his pants, gripping his cock with a giggle as you pushed him back. "Aren't you glad that my daddy bought us an apartment? No one will interrupt our seventy-two-hour sex spree."
And a spree it was. As soon as you both got home, Dave had you against the wall, pushing your chest to press against the soft grey painted wall and pulling up your skirt. He was quick to pull up your skirt and unzip his pants, quickly pushing into you with a loud exhale. "Fuck, you feel so good, Y/N."
"I better feel good if you've came four times- fuck!" You cursed as his hips snap forward, his large hands holding your hips as he pushed his fingers to rub against your clit. "D-David, baby, slow down-"
"I can't," he whispers, gasping as his hips start rutting automatically against your ass, your slick folds making the wet noises fill the home. The noises fueled him, his thrusts getting faster and rougher, loud moans falling from his mouth as you basically scratched against the walls. "Fucking hell, I can't stop thinking about you... I never want to stop fucking you."
And to be honest, he didn't. He held himself to that standard, never once pulling out of you as he maneuvered all throughout the house and fucked you literally against anything he could, resulting in you ultimately passing out as soon as he got you to the bed.
Dave sighed as he hovered over your body, smiling slightly when he saw your hickey littered form and cum caked thighs, you smelled perfect, a mix of your perfume and the cologne you bought him. He cleaned you up with your favorite towels, the special ones made of a special fabric that you loved the texture of.
He pulled away, not without a soft kiss to your temple. He walked away immediately, inhaling as he started to draw a bath for you after cleaning himself up. After walking out, he smiled when he saw you already curled up against his pillow, eyes opening and closing before he came behind you.
Your eyes snapped open as you giggled, reaching back to hold his hand and gasping as he started to push into you again. "You really know the meaning of a spree, don't you?"
"I just... I can't explain it. I love fucking you so much, I feel like I can't stop," he whispers, holding back tears as you softly stroked your cheek. He couldn't think about anything else other than fucking you anymore. "Fuck, it's bad."
"It can be," you whisper back, squeezing his wrist. "But not for us. I know... I know it's a lot, but I'll help you. I swear."
"Thank you, baby," Dave whispers, pressing soft kisses to your neck. "You wanna take a bath?"
You giggled. "Desperately so."
Your giggle makes him smile. "Then it's good that I drew you a bath with your favorite scent. Come on."

your not to sure how you’ve ended up in london, when you got on the flight from dublin or how you ended up at your big sisters front door, you just remember the argument, you remember storming out of school and you remember your ma shouting and doors slamming and now you were in London on a chilly wednesday evening.
You hesitated to knock scared of what Katie’s reaction will be, you haven’t seen her much recently and you’ve been ignoring her frequent calls and messages asking how you were, if you were going to the game or if you were going to call tonight despite your pretty much radio silence towards your older sister she persisted in messaging you, each one being left unopened.
“y/n what the fuck are you doing here? ma has been worried sick”.
you hear a familiar irish accent shout, flinching slightly at the tone of her voice, she sounded furious, you’ve seen your big sister angry on multiple occasions but not like this, it scared you.
“i’m sorry”.
you say barely above a whisper looking down at the floor the tiling on the porch suddenly much more interesting then it was 30 seconds ago.
“Sorry isn’t gonna cut it y/n you’ve had the entire family out searching for you, i was on my way to get a flight over to come and help and you turn up here with zero explanations as to how you’ve ended up here, you ran away from school yet again and now your kicked out of yet another school, ma is in an absolute state she’s at her wits with you y/n”
you wish the ground could swallow you right there and then, you wish you wasn’t having this conversation with katie, you wanted to be tucked up in bed away from her, away from everything going on.
“i didn’t mean to scare ma”
you tell her sincerely making a point to look her in eyes.
“ i don’t know what happened honestly i don’t even know how i got here it’s like i don’t even know what’s going on with me anymore”
your words hang in the air for a few minutes as katie observes you she can see your shaky breathes, she notices your eyes darting around the floor looking anywhere but at her.
She wants to wrap you up and keep you safe from the world, she wants nothing more than to know what’s going with you.
“Hey it’s okay y/n i’m sorry i shouted at you i was just worried, i’ve been worried about you and i just want to help you, let’s get you inside and ill get cait to make you her famous hot chocolates and we can talk about things alright?”
she questions tilting her head slightly although it’s more of a demand then a question not wanting to anger her further you nod.
~~~
Sat on Katie’s sofa, hot chocolate in hand and snuggled with coopurr is not how you expected you’d spend the evening when you woke up, you had plans to go out with your friends to the nearest fields where all the teenagers in Kilnamanagh hung out, those plans seemed long gone now though.
you wondered for a spilt second if your friends would care that you hadn’t shown up , if they were worried as to where you’d disappeared to before remembering that they didn’t care, not really, no one truly cared.
you weren’t happy and you hadn’t been for a long time, you were struggling more then you cared to admit your smile no longer met your eyes, your football boots were discarded in a cupboard somewhere having not been worn in months, not touched a ball in months, you were getting into trouble more often then not, having been taken home by the police on more then one occasion for anti social behaviour, your attendance had slipped you no longer cared for getting perfect grades or for winning awards to take home to your family for your ma to put up proudly around the house to show off their perfect daughter.
you were a silhouette of the girl you used to be, the small carefree little girl who ran wild with a ball at her feet, the little girl who didn’t care about the opinions of strangers, the mischievous grin that you used to wear constantly had vanished replaced by a constant scowl, one which you were currently displaying.
Feeling your sisters gaze fall on you, you begrudgingly look up at her.
“What happened at school y/n”.
she questions searching your face for answers.
“the teachers pissed me off”
“language y/n your 15 quit with the swearing already” she says giving you a pointed look.
“right yeah sorry anyways they annoyed me so i left i hate school it’s so shit i can’t stand that place i don’t get the work cause im stupid and it’s just horrible katie”
you know that’s not the whole truth and whilst yes your head of year had annoyed you but it wasn’t why you got on a flight and it wasn’t why you ran out of school.
Katie’s eyebrows raised in question.
“so you ran away got on a flight, came to my door to lie straight to my face when all i want to do is to help you”
biting your lip you hesitate slightly, the tension in the room coming to all time high.
“im not lying”
she scoffs at you shaking her head slightly.
“Me and you both know that theirs more to the story then what your letting on y/n your lies aren’t gonna cut it this time, they may
work on ma but i know when your lying”.
your sisters voice sounds more firm and more confident then your own.
Trembling slightly you continue to act oblivious, biting your lip as you do so, this time drawing a small amount of blood.
“There’s nothing more to the story just drop it katie”
You can’t look at her in the eyes, you can’t tell her the full extent of what happened in fear that she’ll judge you or blame you for what happened.
scoffing she closes her eyes before taking a deep breathe as comes and sits opposite you placing her own hands in yours and looking up at you searching for clues as to what was going on.
“I know your lying to me right now i’m not stupid, we can sit here all night and keep going round in circles until you tell me the full truth, no more running from it and no more lies”.
You didn’t know what to make of that statement, you’d never heard her be so firm with you before, You knew deep down you wanted to tell her what happened that night and what happened at school you wanted her comfort in fact you needed her comfort, one of her hugs.
“Do you promise you won’t be disappointed you can be angry but please don’t be disappointed in me i’m really sorry katie”
Katie’s face softens slightly and she shakes her head.
“ I’ll never be disappointed in you y/n angry yes but never disappointed im so proud of you bug i always will be no matter what”.
“erm like maybe 3 or 4 months ago um well i went to a party and um this boy he he”
you couldn’t finish your sentence, the memories from that night came rushing back to you, the way he smelled and the way he spoke to you, what he did to you, it repulsed you to think about, to think of his touch.
“ i- i can’t-t breathe”
whatever anger Katie had previously held towards you completely disappeared as she wrapped her arms around your shaking body.
“i’ve got you sweetheart let it all out it’s okay, i’ve got you”
Leon Scott Kennedy x fem! Reader smut for you to enjoy, all credit goes to me as I've written it! Have funnnn ;).
Six years ago:
As I place my hand on his thigh he looks up at me, I don't exactly know what to tell him anymore so I decided that my actions indeed speak louder than my words.
He looks.. Broken almost, I know this has been a lot on him but god.. I just, I want to help him, I want to.. I wanna kiss him, so badly. So as he goes to say something, I lean in, cup his cheek and press my lips to his, he stills for a moment, but only for a moment before he relaxes and returns the kiss. I pull back and he looks at me, a slight blush on his cheeks as he looks a bit stunned. "We will be okay, Leon." I promise. Giving his thigh a squeeze before removing my hands off of him completely.
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
I bite my lip as I look down at the pavement. I know he made it out alive- Well.. My instinct is telling me he did and it's killing me not knowing where he is, who he is with, what he's doing.. What if he did get hurt?
As I look up and see the fire exploding from out the burning building I can't help but wonder.
I'm hiding in an alleyway, I had gotten out just a few moments before the big explosion happened.
Then.. Suddenly.. I see him, emerge from beneath the heavy layer of smoke that hangs over and before the building. Together with his companion. Claire. Though he looks around panicked. I see him say something to Claire and she looks around as well.
Maybe I should make myself known. Or maybe I shouldn't.. Maybe I should keep myself hidden, push back what I really wanna do.. Run over and kiss him again, tell him we'll be okay. I bite my lip hard again, something I tend to do a lot when in doubt of what to do.
Though as I stand here deciding what I should be doing next, Leon seems to only get more nervous. Walking further away from the building with his friend. "Claire, I swear to god if we can't get a lead on her I'm going back in there." I hear him faintly say.
"No you're not." Claire says. "I get it, you're worried, but you've seen her, she can handle herself just fine. I'm sure she got out and is around here somewhere, or maybe she already went home."
"Maybe.." He says and sighs.
Fuck it. I can't do it. I can't stay away when he's so worried for me.
"Leon?" I walk out of the alleyway and let out a pant of my own, his eyes instantly find mine and he smiles, relief written all over his face. "Y/n.. Thank god." I smile back just slightly as I make my way over to them. "Y/n. Expected nothing less." Claire shoots me a cheeky smile and I give her a nod.
"No one got hurt?" I ask and Claire shakes her head. "Luckily not.. Besides a few scratches." I give another nod and look back at Leon. "Ready to get out of here and go home..?" Claire then speaks up again quickly.
"You live close to here?" Leon asks me and I shake my head. "About an hour walk.." I shrug to which he looks back at Claire. "Well.. How about you come back to my place? Get all cleaned up and I can drive you both home after." He suggests.
I smile, cause.. A shower sounds so wonderful right now. Claire gives us a small smile. "I live closeby too. I can make it home easily. Just a few miles from here. Thanks for the offer, though."
"Ok." Leon says with a sheepish smile.
"I'm sure I'll see you around.. We should go out together sometime Y/n.. For drinks?" I cock my head to the right. "Sounds good, I'll hold you to that.''
"Leon." She looks up at him. "Claire." He says looking down at her. "See you around too."
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
I step out of his shower with a sigh. That was amazing... Truly and after I get into a t-shirt of Leon's he kindly let me borrow I walk back out into his bedroom, calm and collected. "You okay?'' He asks me and I smile. "Never been better partner." I tease to which he rolls his eyes.
"You wanna crash here?" He asks me and I nod. "Yeah if you don't mind, I am totally fine sleeping on the couch by the way." I quickly say before Leon even has the chance to offer me his bed. If... He was planning on doing so in the first place-..
Fuck. When did he get so close to me? My mind turns into a puddle as soon as I stare up into his bright blue eyes. "Leon?" I ask and raise an eyebrow. "You're not sleeping on the couch." He says, his voice low and husky. Shit. Wait when did he get this close to me?
"I... Uh.. Oh?" Oh? That's all my brain can come up with? Seriously..?
"I wouldn't wanna steal your bed away.. I mean.. I wouldn't steal it but I would be-.."
"Shut up."
And I do, because he kisses me, his lips are so soft and so are his hands which are placed on my cheeks. One of them slowly sliding down to the back of my neck. And I take it, everything he is willing to give me.
Wrapping my arms around his neck as I kiss him back I jump against him, my legs around his waist.. Wordlessly he grabs my hips in his rough hands and I press myself against him.
He brings us to his bed and lays me down under him. Still kissing me. I run my hands through his blonde locks and arch my back up against his hard chest.
"Leon~.." I moan softly as he burries his face in the crook of my neck, sucking, nipping.. His hand finds its way up and under my shirt. He twists my nipple between his fingers and I'm a goner. A total goner.
"God you're so fucking hot Y/n." He groans against my skin, his words sending shivers down my spine.
I tug at his shirt. I want it off. Everything, I want everything off, our clothes are in the way. "Please. Fuck me." I mutter the words before they have even fully processed in my mind.
Leon lifts his head, pulls his shirt off over his head and grins down at me. "Your wish is my command."
I eye him up and smile as I run my hands down his hard chest and abs. I should've expected this.. He's a trained cop, of course he's built but still.. He's.. He's perfect.
Once I have his pants off as well and his fingers are pumping in and out of me I grip his shoulders and sink my nails into them. His fingers are long and wet.. From me. God I need him closer.
I tug him closer to me and kiss along his beautiful square jawline. I grind myself down on his fingers and am about to come.. Just as I am about to though, Leon pulls his fingers out of me and I whimper at the loss of him.
I claw at his boxers he's still wearing for.. God knows what reason.. I pull them down and my mouth falls open at the sight of his cock. He's big. He's.. Perfect.. I arch up against him and rub myself on his hard dick.
"Leon.. I want you now." I breathe out and I look up at him through hooded eyes, his chest heaving. "I'm on the pill." I say as I push him on his back and straddle his hips. Quickly holding him under me I lower myself on him and let out soft pants while working him inside me and once he is.... I feel so full, like he could split me in fucking half.
"Fuck.. Fuck Y/n." Leon groans lowly and closes his eyes for a few seconds. Desperately grabbing at my hips, so hard. There will definetly be bruises there tomorrow morning and I love it.
I rock myself against him. Stretching myself out even more as I look down at him, hands planted on his chest while his stay on my hips. The friction of his pelvis against my clit is so fucking good I might come soon, I feel close already.
Slowly I lift up and I lower myself back down on his big cock. He lets out grunts and groans and it just spurs me on, I moan as I quicken the pace, riding him hard.
His cock twitches deep inside my pussy and I know he's close, so am I, grinding against him, bouncing on his dick.. Chasing my orgasm while also getting him there. "Keep going baby, fuck.. Y/n." Leon grunts and squeezes my tits in his big hands as I whimper and tip over the edge.
I come, my walls squeezing his dick tightly, making me moan out his name. "Leon-..." I pant and he comes inside me. Filling me up so beautifully.. I keep moving until I'm sure we've both landed back on planet earth and I look down at him. Brushing his crazy hair out of his face with a smile.
Quickly he has me in his arms and I listen to his soothing heartbeat until we both fall asleep..
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Oh fuck, oh shit. Oh hell. Fucking shit... I need to be quiet. But I can't help it. He looks so beautiful, all sleepy and messy and naked. God he's naked and- Pure perfection.. Sleeping so calmly, even a small smile is playing at his lips.
I hate what I'm about to do. I fucking hate myself for it. I know the type of guy Leon is. I assume he'd wake up later and if I were still there he'd make me breakfast, maybe take me out later on. And that hurts. I feel like he's the type of guy that doesn't do casual sex, if he sleeps with someone it means something..
Neither do I, no casual hook ups and only when it means something will I ever be intimate with someone.. But I can not risk it, not with my job not with his.
So as much as I want to stay I need to go. Feeling the delicious sting between my legs distracts me temporarily as I glance over at Leon just one last time. I can not help myself as I place a kiss on his lips, just one last time.. Before I take off my necklace. It's silver and has a cat charm on it.
I lay it on his bedside table. He'll throw it away as soon as he realizes I'm gone but at least I left him something, something to remember me by.
As I look over my shoulder, I take in the apartment building Leon lives in and I take a deep breath as I walk off.
I know, I'm selfish.
Present time:
He's here. I know he is. They got her, the one he is searching for, maybe I'm even more selfish than I was all those years ago but I just had a feeling they'd send him out here and I had to go see for myself. I was told he changed, do I believe that? Not a chance.
I look around. Everyone seems to have left here, a few corpses lay on the ground and I see a few bullets here and there. He was here.
And from the sounds of it, he's in a bit of trouble right now. I could hear the commotion from a mile away.
I rush over there and decide I shall save him, just this once. I glance inside a window and see him. The enemy big and strong looking. I take out my gun and shoot right past Leon's frame. Having no doubt that's him anymore, because it fucking is. And if anything, he just looks... More trained, more mature.
The bigger, almost alien looking man gets startled and I see Leon's head turn, but before he can get a glimpse of me I'm gone.
He can handle himself, I know that.. So I leave him be for some time. Knowing I will soon enough be face to face with him again.
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
Maybe he thinks he can rest here. Maybe he just needs a little break, I'd understand that honestly. Or maybe he knows something... Maybe he's waiting until I make myself known, I know he is smarter than I think he is, I won't underestimate him. Which is why I walk up behind him with my gun pointed right at him. "I'd drop my gun right now if I were you Leon." I say, trying my best to remain calm.
And so he does just that. He drops his handgun and holds up his hands where I can see them. I walk closer to him. To the side of him and he lets out a sigh that almost sounds unimpressed. "Well after six years, that is one hell of a greeting." He says and I clench my jaw, he remembers me, I don't know why that surprises me, but it does.
"Y/n." He says as he turns his head over his shoulder to look at me.
I smile. Or try to and cock my head. "So we meet again." I still have my gun pointed right at him and fuck he looks so damn good. My heart races in my chest and I can assume I definetly look tougher than I feel.
He stands still for a little longer before suddenly in just the fraction of a second he pulls out his knife and aims for me. I dodge and we go back and forth for a bit before his knife is right against the skin of my throat. I let out a soft 'hm' and he stares at me. "Try using knives next time, better for close encounters."
"Impressive." I say and I see now is his turn to cock his head. "So.. Why are you here? Who are you working for this time?" So he's heard I've been working for a few different people. Interesting.
I smirk. "Oh Leon, you know I don't kiss and tell." I say. "Leave the girl.. She's a lost cause no matter what."
"You think I'm going to just give up? That easily? You don't know me at all, do you?" I look at him and shrug at his words before walking away.
"Right." I say, looking at him over my shoulder.
"Why did you leave, then?" Okay, no beating around the bush.. I sigh. "I'll see you again soon, Leon, we'll continue this discussion." I try to leave after that, going out the window.. I hear Leon make a sound. It sounds like a scoff... Then he grabs my wrist.
I look at where he touches me and I look up into his eyes. He's wearing the cat charm.
"Y/n. Talk, now." He insists as he pins me a look with those piercing blue eyes. I look at him and sigh. "Fine Leon, you wanna know why I left fine. I will tell you-." I nod.
"I... Uh.. So I knew like I felt like it was.. I- Fuck me." I sigh. Get your head back in the game Y/n.. That damned charm had distracted me....
Leon lets go of my wrist gently and I think about escaping but feel it wouldn't matter if I say it now or later. "Sorry.. It would be selfish of me to-.. I knew that it would be selfish of me to start something with you, because of my work, because of the jobs I do because at some point I would've had to stab you in the back and I wouldn't ever be able to forgive myself for it if that happened."
Leon looks at me in question, like he wants to as so much more but he stays quiet for a beat. "I never sleep around, I'm not like that I'm sorry.. I dragged you into my mess for a bit. I know I'm selfish for what I did..... For leaving without anything. I owed you an explanation, I fucking know that- I hate that I hurt you-.."
"You didn't." He quickly says. "You didn't hurt me Y/n, you crushed me." He corrects me and I'm pretty sure I feel my heart shatter just a little more. "I thought I did something wrong, I tried to find you for days after, I didn't know where you lived. I didn't know where to find you, I asked around if- if anyone knew someone with your name but nothing fucking came out of it."
"Was I just a quick fuck huh? Just so you could forget your problems for a little while, just so you could use me for a bit only to just throw me aside after like I meant nothing to you? Is that it Y/n? Well- I'm a one lady type of guy, believe it or not.. I don't just jump into bed with the first girl who throws herself at me."
"Leon I-." "I don't even know what to say to you anymore. I held hope too. I was hoping maybe you'd come back to me. You knew where I lived, surely you could've." He cuts me off with a shrug.
"But, I understand, I was naïve and young and I really liked a girl I thought really liked me too. I gave you my all, I showed you myself in the most.. Vunerable way possible, I was as close to you as people can get and I opened myself up to you in a way I don't do often, only to be shut down right afterwards, you humiliated me."
I try and fail to keep up my tough demeanor as I blink rapidly as tears fill my eyes without me wanting them to, I nod and cross my arms over my chest as I stare at him.
"I- I don't.. God.. I- I'm so sorry Leon.." I mumble and wipe at my cheeks where tears began rolling down some time ago. "I wasn't.. I haven't stopped thinking about you- Fucking hell I know it means nothing but I haven't stopped thinking about you, about us.. Ever since. I wanted to come back so many times, I didn't think you ever wanted to see me again.. Which you had every right to- Even right now, you have every right to feel this way and to hate me. I do want you to know. I don't regret a single thing of what happened between us. I wish.. I could change what I did but I can't.. I really liked you too.. Leon.. I really like you, still and it's killing me hearing about how much I hurt you."
"I won't ask for your forgiveness.. I do ask you to let me help. Let me help with the girl, that is the least I can do." I say and Leon's gaze remains on me, his eyebrows slightly furrowed, eyes full with emotion. All he does is nod. "Ok." He says and turns around, picking back up his fireaerm before walking away like he expects me to follow, which I do. Letting out a shaky breath.
Some part of me relieved.
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
"Leon!" Ashley and I both shriek and I rush towards him. Lord Saddler just exploded all over this place and we need to get out of here though.. Leon was hit at the last second by spiky tentacle.
I helped him some here and there but mostly stayed behind with Ashley to protect her, few words were said between Leon and I but I didn't mind, I understood.
"Leon... No-.. No.. This-.." I stutter as I place his head in my lap as Ashley kneels down beside me and puts a hand on his abdomen. "Hey- Hey stay with me, we can't lose you, not now. We need to get off this island." I say to him. "That's all we have to do before we're safe... You did it. It was you, you beat him."
Ashley groans as she applies as much pressure as she can to his wound. Blood gushing out. All I see is red.. My chest heaves with the beginning phase of a panic attack and I brush his hair aside as I cup his cheeks. "Goddamnit Leon wake up." I grunt and Ashley takes her big scarf. "We need to get him up, I can wrap this around the wound." She says and I nod in agreement as I pull him up together with Ashley.
We barely manage it since he's very.. Muscular and we're just two girls trying our best. I hold him up as Ashley wraps the scarf around him tightly before tying a knot. "Let's get to the lift." She suggests and we carry Leon's unconscious body there. One of his arms over my shoulder and the other over Ashley's.
We luckily manage to carry him to the water. "Get him on this boat." I say and Ashley nods. We grunt and groan as we get him on there. I sit in front of Leon and let him lean against me while Ashley makes sure he stays in and doesn't move too much while being sandwiched between us.
○ ○ ○ ○ ○
As the place explodes Ashley and I watch.. "We did it.. He.. Did it." I say as I look at Ashley. "Hey.." She places a hand on my shoulder. "It's okay, I know you care, so do I.. Without him I wouldn't be here right now." She says and I nod as I chuckle through my tears.
"I-.. I.. He can't just die on me Ashley, not after everything. He can't.. He's too buff to die." I mumble and Ashley rubs her eyes as well as she smiles. "He will be fine. Let's go home.... It will be okay-.."
"Since when have you been so emotional?" I hear a deep voice ask and I look behind me. Leon is sitting up, clutching his abdomen as he sends me a weak smirk I've grown to adore so much. "Leon!" Ashley immediately hugs him. "I thought you were gonna die!" She mumbles and he pats her back with his free hand. "Ok." He mumbles back and smiles sheepishly.
"Y/n." He says and I smile happily. "Leon." I say back and he looks at me. "We have a lot to talk about, but I'm sure we'll figure it all out. We will be okay." He says and I look at him in surprise. "You mean-?"
He nods. "I mean." He replies with and sends me a grin.
They lived happily ever after (and had four babies).
wifey, I got smth to ask you 🥺
can I ask for just getting my back blown out by infinite darkness Leon somewhere in the White House after the zombie attack?
Tumblr media
Just him in that blue suit??
(also pls add some praise kink in there, I beg)
Gabby my beloved! Ask you shall receive! 💖
Minors step off from here please and thank you.
The White House…
Of all the zombie attacks Leon has had to bear witness to, forced to carry the mental and physical scars from, survived. The White House was the last place he'd ever expect to be hit. He can't say he's surprised though. Even now as he discusses with Jason on the subject of who started this with what virus, his adrenaline is shot. Not even fully taking in the conversation when his mind is on something else.
Or rather someone else.
Luckily, his search was brief when you just so happen to hastily round the corner and search before locking eyes with him. Your dire look of concern immediately falls away to relief at the sight of him, he can't but smile at that but the feeling is mutual.
He's quick to leave Jason and close what felt like a mile long distance between you two. As soon as your arms are around each other, you feel his larger stature softly squeeze your hips and gently scoot you along. A silent request to take you away for some much deserved privacy.
And you couldn't be more happy to oblige.
You let Leon pull you away from prying eyes into a nearby office and lock the door. Let him steal your breath with a ravishing kiss while he scoops you up with large, warm hands planted firmly on your ass. Let him manhandle you as he bends you over the desk and hikes the lower part of your dress up. Putting your soaked through lace panties on full display to show just how badly you need him.
It's truly a sight he'll never grow tired of.
Unable to resist, his hand ghosts down the skin of your backside to press his thumb against your weeping little pearl, still hidden behind the thin, soiled fabric. It elicits a soft breathy whine from you that Leon can't help but chuckle at, "Sorry sunshine, just love when you get messy like this."
Any other day the agent would love to tease you and draw this out a little more but, he just doesn't have the time and most certainly not the patience. With his pants quickly undone and pulled down just enough for his cock to be freed from it's restraints, his fingers suddenly tug your underwear to the side and sinks himself into your welcoming heat in one thrust.
The moan that escapes you would've most definitely drawn attention if it weren't for his hand clasping over your mouth to silence you, followed by sweet searing kisses pressed to your neck as he sets a rough, needy pace.
"That's it…" The dirty blonde softly coos into your ear, delighted with how your pussy squeezes the entirety of his length everytime he sinks back in with a rhythmic slap. "That's my good girl."
His words pour from his lips onto your body like the sweetest liquor, one you'll never deny and hope to stay intoxicated by everyday. Leon softly smiles into your hair. Because he knows it. Knows exactly what praise like that does to you. Your cute little muffled whimper and the desperate rock of your hips to meet his thrusts is all the answer he needs.
"Yeah, you're my good girl." He rumbles out in that low pretty groan. "Fuck, you were made to take me this good weren't you?" His composure soon shatters for a moment, leading him to bury his face in the crook of your neck with a hiss in an attempt to mask his own noise. Leon's voice then falls to a whisper, a secret uttered into your love stained skin that only you could keep.
"God you're perfect."
It's too much, in the best way possible. Tears of pure bliss fall from your eyes as you grace that edge of heaven, while your fingers card through his hair and hold on for dear life. His hand coming around to press the rough, warm pads of his fingers against your intimacy however, is what ultimately tips you over.
A soft cry tumbles into his hand as your orgasm leaves you quivering within his hold. Leon's thrusts instantly slow down to help you ride out your high, squishing your smaller frame between his body and the desk more while you gush on his fingers and around his cock before going still.
Your breath comes out in a quiet pant as you come back down from your cloud nine, that is until you release a sudden squeak when Leon slowly starts up his rhythm again. In his defense, eyeing the way your cunt throbbed and dripped around his dick was too fucking hot to ignore.
You're quick to pick your head up and look back at him. Only to meet his lips smashing against yours in another feverish kiss, swallowing your pretty sounds like a shot of his favorite whiskey.
The agent then pulls away, but just slightly, to softly speak. "Come on Princess, you can give me one more. Can't you?"
Seeing how handsomely disheveled he looks in that navy blue suit- hair messily sticking to his skin, cheeks flushed a wonderful shade of red, plush lips parted to let out his quiet huffs, and those pretty ocean eyes blown with all the love he has for you. Oh yeah, you most certainly accept another round.
You're Leon Scott Kennedy's good girl after all.
You knew what you were doing was tormenting him. Which is why you got a kick out of it. You told your boyfriend about the challenge No Nut November where you go a whole month without cumming or masturbating.
You knew it was a lunch break right now, so it was your chance to send a bold message. You run to the bathroom, pull your shirt down a little to show some cleavage and stick your fingers in your mouth back and forth, sending a "I wish this was your fat cock instead." 😩 You shake with anticipation to await the hot head's reaction. Five minutes passed and still no response.
"The fuck is he doing, taking a shit?" You mumble.
You tap your foot impatient, finally receiving a response after around 10 minutes, which read "Wtf, you didn't even give a warning! Two can play at that game"
You roll your eyes which was typical of him since he's so competitive.
You've been sending your boyfriend daring messages all of yesterday through today, knowing the impact it had on him. He avoided making eye contact with you as it would only make it worse. His friends were worried about him trying to ask him what's up.
"What's the matter, Bakugo? I've noticed you've been avoiding Y/N. Did you two get into a fight or something?" Kirishima asks, Kaminari standing over his desk too to see what's up.
"It's none of your fucking business!" He scowled.
"Typical reaction from him..." Kaminari mumbles.
Mr. Aizawa walks into the class with his usual expression and monotonous tone.
"All right, everyone settle down. We'll be having a training course today, so get your hero gear on."
Everyone rushes to get changed.
Tumblr media
You take this time to tease him again, which was perfect. Your outfit was quite revealing, almost more revealing than Momo's since your quirk is demonic powers and you're the daughter of satan.
It didn't help the situation at all. All the boys were staring at you, a few either having nose bleeds or blushing red. You always wore a cloak over your hero costume so they had no idea what you truly looked like underneath. The costume accentuates your curves.
"Whoa, I had no idea Y/N was that sexy without her cloak on." Mineta practically drools.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing wearing something revealing like that!?"
He wraps his arms around you to cover your exposed flesh.
"It's part of my hero costume, Katsu. Is that a problem?"
"Hell yeah it's a problem! Take it off!"
"Mm, what happens if I don't?" You place a finger on your chin.
"Then I'll fucking take it off myself!"
"And let everyone see me naked? I thought only you could see me exposed."
"Enough you two." Aizawa speaks up, you two break apart.
He then explains how today would go and what to expect from you all. Everyone had to split up in pairs. It's 5 groups because the number is uneven, Todoroki, and Momo, Deku, Mineta and Uraraka, Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari, Tokoyami, and Shoji, You and Bakugo, Iida, Tooru, and Ojiro, Tsuyu, Jiro, and Mina, and Sato, Aoyama, and Koda.
You two wander off in the woods somewhere, afraid you're lost.
"Uhh, Katsu? Are we lost? We probably should've stayed close by." You say, receiving no answer.
He shoves you up against a tree, pinning your wrists.
"Now we're alone. Listen here you little shit, I'm tired of your bullshit! It's driving me insane!"
He grips your wrists harder.
"Katsuki stop gripping my wrists so hard! The little messages you gave me made me on edge as well!" You confess, biting your lip hard trying your hardest not to look at his muscular figure.
"Look at me when I'm speaking to ya!" He grabs your chin. "This is all your fucking fault. I've had to endure so many hard ons and couldn't relieve myself because of this damn challenge." He spat.
"You don't have to do it if it's too much for you~" You tease.
You narrow your eyes towards his crotch seeing that he has a boner right now. He cups your left asscheek hard, eliciting a moan from you.
"I should punish you for not covering up, letting them see you like this. That damn nerd got a nosebleed and I saw Icyhot staring too. Shit, even Shitty hair had a nosebleed. I bet you enjoyed the attention being on you." He starts.
His large hand cups your other cheek, activating his quirk. You push your head into his chest to muffle your moans. He lifts your head up, pulling on your tail.
"If I were to just pull on your tail-"
"KATSUUU NOT THE TAIL!" You squeal, beating on his chest.
"So that is one of your weak spots." He gives his signature shit eating grin.
He rubs it up and down slowly.
"S-seriously, stop! What if someone catches us!"
"Then I wouldn't give a fuck. The poor fucker would just have a nice show." He says bluntly.
He continues pulling on it, enjoying the face your making.
"Ka-tsu-ki stoppp..."
"What if I don't want to?"
"Then I'll make you cum right now so you can lose this stupid challenge. Be ashame if that were to happen. I mean, it is only the sixth day." You say hoping it works.
"I'm not losing that fucking fast, if anything you are!" He retorts.
"How so?"
"Your sex drive is higher than mine! Your fucking horny every single time you look at me!"
"That's so not true at all!" You fold your arms.
"Oh yeah? Then look at me right now. Go ahead, prove me wrong which you can't, you never can."
He puts his hands on his hips waiting impatiently.
"Uhh I can't because um-"
"Because you proved my point! Every time I'm near Shitty hair and the others you tug on my arm so we can go into the bathroom to either make out or so I can eat you out!"
"What about when you want me to blow you hm?"
"It occurs every once in a while! With you, you always expect me to eat you out which ends up messy then they wanna know what the fuck I was doing all this time." He finally finishes.
"It's not my fault you're so damn fine."
You don't dare look him in the eyes knowing it would boost his already huge ego even more.
"That so?" He smirks, cupping your chin forcing you to make eye contact with him.
Your eyes shut tight not wanting to succumb to him.
"Fine you win! Asshole." You mumble the last part.
"Of course I did. I always win no matter what." He flaunts.
"Give me your hand right quick."
He raises his brow but doesn't question and complied anyway. You make him grab your breasts, tweaking your nipples and start to grind against his crotch, moaning.
"Fuck!" He nearly chokes, letting go of your nipples.
"What's the matter, my 'big' explosive king?" You say in a tone trying to sound innocent yet seductive.
"If you wanna make me cum, you gotta try harder than that, babygirl~"
He pins you against a tree again. He bites your neck hard to leave noticeable hickeys so they know you belong to him and only him. He discards his costume, yours following soon after.
"Katsuki..."
You look at him with lust in your eyes, licking your lips. He smashes his lips against yours, the kiss starting out passionate but soon getting sloppier and spicer. You ruffle your hands through his spiky locks, your tongues doing the salsa.
"I can't handle this shit anymore."
He bends you over, slamming his cock slowly into your asshole while pulling onto your tail. You hiss at the new feeling but then gets used to it.
"Wait Katsu, w-we're doing this right now?" You bite your lip trying not to moan.
"You need to learn your fucking lesson. The only way I can do that is by fucking you since your so horny all the time." He explains, speeding up his thrusts.
He flips you around to face him, placing his hands on your shoulders and rams his fat balls inside your pussy.
"A-ahhh~ do it harder..." You practically drool as your masochist natures starts to kick in.
"Tch, fucking masochist."
"Well you're fucking this masochist." You say back smoothly.
He ignores you, adding more force into his ramming. He rams into you at a more animalistic way, your ass, thighs, and boobs jiggling uncontrollably. Your eyes start to roll into the back of your head as you felt like you were in heaven.
"Fuckk me faster daddy~" You say desperately, knowing that got him for sure.
"I'm gonna fuck a baby into you if you fucking call me that again."
He rams faster, sweat dripping all down his face and arms. Your tongue hangs out, you end up moaning his name louder and louder for everyone to hear. You felt he was close, as he tries his hardest to hold it in, but ends up failing and pulls out of you quickly, his cum dripping over your tummy. The sight was too much for you to bare, as you cum right after him, both of you all sweaty and panting hard.
"Looks like we both lost." You chuckle.
"I'll win next year for sure!"
"Good luck with that... Let's hurry and put our clothes back on before someone sees us." You rush to put them on, admiring his nude body.
"Take a picture, it lasts longer." He says, eventually putting his clothes back on.
"I could say the same thing to you earlier." You roll your eyes.
"Damn I probably should've nutted on your ass instead." He cups both cheeks again, squeezing them roughly.
"Leave my ass alone!" You squeal while puffing up your cheeks.
Tumblr media
You two were the last ones to return back to the location Aizawa requested.
"What took you guys so long?" He folds his arms, tapping his finger on his arm.
"We got lost and almost got ambushed!" You blurt out.
"Is that why you were screaming earlier?" Bakugo asks, smirking.
"Yes, it was." You glare at him.
"As long as you guys are back then everything is okay." Deku sighs in relief.
"It's not like anything could happen as long as Bakugo is with her." Iida says, relieved nothing happened to you two.
"What exactly were you two doing?" Tsuyu asks, curious.
"N-nothing at all!" You immediately get flustered at the memory.
"Judging by the stuttering I'd say it was something naughty." Mina smirks, nudging your arm.
You walk up to Bakugo whispering something that would get him riled up.
"Next year I'll go above and beyond, this was just childs play." You whisper to him, seeing how it's still November but it's no point since you both lost on the sixth day.
"Then I'll make sure to have you cum the first day!" He says confidently, everyone staring at him weirdly.
You hide your face in your arms from embarrassment.
"I feel like living under a rock for the rest of my life..." You groan trying to erase the embarrassing vibe you're feeling off.
that's exactly what tf i'm talking about, BIG DICK ENERGY. and not toji fixing shit around the house during the party, imagine his cocky ass interrupting you mid-conversation, calling your mother by her first name and asking her which one of the outlets she needs him to fix? or asking your dad where he left the toolbox? and you're seething the entire fucking time, because you know he's showboating just to make your new fling uncomfortable, but just seeing how easy it is for him to do so and how much your family loves him makes you all the more agitated.
it absolutely would end in angry sex, you'd be ready to burst by the time you're finally able to get him alone to chew him out. it would most definitely have to be outside because you'd wake your parents up, and i doubt either of you would be able to wait long enough to drive back to your place either- so he's got you bent over the hood of his car at first, showing you how much he missed you, but quickly pulls you into his backseat when he hears the neighbors garage door open. yes, the old neighbor lady knows him too and loves him. but it gives you the chance to take control and release your frustrations, riding him as you curse at him, only for him to coo at you and tell you how cute you are when you're mad, not taking you seriously at all.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
once the two of you finally finish making his car shake, you look around you and notice all the crap littering his back seat. when you ask him why there's baskets of clothes, he says
"What? You expect me to find my own place every time you dump me?"
his cocky ass didn't even bother finding somewhere to live, he's been couch surfing and living in hotels. of course he could afford his own place, but why go through all the trouble when he knew you'd take him back soon enough?
his confidence and the fact that he was right makes you pissed again, muttering and shaking your head at him as he helps you fasten your bra and find your shirt among the mess.
"So when am I moving back in, princess?
since i read this when you sent it in, i have been nonstop thinking about “what? you expect me to find my own place every time you dump me?” truly a banger of a fucking line bcos it was perfectly worded and executed.
calling your mother by her first name. the old lady neighbor knows him and loves him too. he tells you you’re cute when you’re mad. “making the car shake.”
my fucking god these are all great lines. i love this scenario so much.
the friends he couch surfs with are familiar with his situation bcos it’s like “you in the doghouse or something again, toj’?”
“yea, you know how it is. she’s just bein’ bitchy she’ll get over it.” meanwhile you fucking dumped his ass bcos he’s so frustratingly masculine. toxic masculinity like not taking you seriously, always thinking he knows what’s best, effortlessly manipulative etc etc. completely dismissing you acting like you’re gonna come running back one day—and in a way you do when you fuck him in his car. you certainly can’t go back to your skeevy bf after that, toji made sure to leave his mark.
DVD Commentary: Battleships and Love Boats
Another for the vault @shamelessdvdcommentary :)
Idk who requested me, but thank you a whole lot <3 it's nice to be thought of. Since I don't know which story anon would like to know about, I thought I'd pick the biggest and baddest hahah
Give us some stats - (when you wrote it, word count, how long it took to finish, is it a one-shot/multi-chapter, etc)
Published June 24th, 2023 (same day I finished In Another World). Wrote and posted one chapter (ish) every day. Finished it about 2 months later.
Chapters? 106
Word count? 238,315
What was the initial inspiration for your story?
Smut.
No, really.
I vaguely dabbled with smut in In Another World, so I wanted to truly try my hand at it in a story that was meant to have it. I also knew I wanted to write a story where they were a bit younger because I like all the angsty drama hahah
If the story is written from a character’s POV, why did you choose this character?
I almost always write in dual POV. To me, it makes sense because both Ian and Mickey have an equal say about their relationship. It's also such a nice break to be able to jump into one's head when I so please.
What was your favourite scene to write?
Chapter 51 - Boyfriend.
I loooove the casual (semi) PDA and the calm of them both when they're finally together. Details and absentminded touches are my cryptonite, so I adore how they act in that chapter as they're looking at cars. They're dialogue is also adorable (if I may say so myself lol)
How did you come up with the title?
Titles are the first thing I come up with when I'm writing a story and more or less build everything off of that vibe. I think I heard or read Battleships and Love Boats somewhere, but I can't remember where, and it just stuck.
Fitting, though, I think. Both love and calm, but also battles and uncertainty.
Was there anything you struggled to write? If so, how did you overcome this?
Smut hahah
It's time to face the facts that I will never be an excellent smut writer and I am fine with that. I cringe too much of myself to write too explicitly. Too innocent for this.
Favourite line in the story?
“Jesus Chr—fuck,” Ian spoke breathlessly and dropped his head back a bit too far, consequently banging it against the wall.
The one that started it all hahah
Did the storyline change in any way as you wrote the story?
Oh my god, if it did.
Let's just say that the story you start reading is not the story you end with. But, again, I don't map out my stories if I can help it.
What are you most proud about in the story? (plot, characterisation, dialogue, twist/cliffhanger, etc)
Dialogue.
I think I had their voices etched into my brain stem at that point. If I can't hear the characters say their lines, I don't write it.
Reading back the story now, is there anything you’d change or add?
I wish I had gotten Mickey his car. Sorry, Mick.
If you’ve chosen your most popular story, are you surprised by the popularity?
Very much surprised.
After I wrote In Another World, which became quite successful, I didn't think I could replicate anything like the warm reception that it got.
I was wrong.
Battleship, you exceeded all expectations.
Did you have a beta or a friend who helped you as you wrote?
Alexa! Play "All by myself" - Celine Dion!
Ask your followers to pick a snippet (no more than 500 words) and share your thoughts about it.
'Moonlight on the river'
Liverpool, '59
Summary: George proposes a deviant beach-time activity not without a bit of emotional turmoil.
Words: 1,346
Tags: Smut, Falling In Love, Public Sex, Mild Hurt/Comfort
The air tousled George's hair as you both ambled through the route, it was a fairly spontaneous trip.
George guided you with his hand, a crooked smile on his face.
You finally arrived at the secluded spot on the river bay, just as the sun started to hang low in the sky.
George nestled you into the sand beside him, an arm wrapped around your shoulder. The horizon behind the water was a mixture of orange and yellow, you were in a subtle awe.
He turned to you. "S'quite a sight, not as pretty as you though."
George shifted closer; it was all very cliché you thought. He felt warm against you, it was a familiar warmth.
He moved his arm to wrap it around your waist, his touch was reassuring, a soft reminder of the past.
"I carn't imagine bein' without ye."
He abruptly cupped your face with his dainty hands, his hands quivered lightly, prompting a kiss.
George slanted in towards you, his lips met yours in a lingering, wet caress.
His grip tightened on your face. His kisses grew more eager each time he would move away. You could taste his spit on yours as he impetuously stuck his tongue into your mouth.
George pulled away for the last time and let out a shaky breath, you could tell he was awfully nervous, you didn't know why.
His fingers rubbed circles on your cheeks as he broke the amorous silence, "Can ye do me a small favour, Y/N?" There was an underlying innuendo in his words somewhere, he spoke a bit dragged out, almost like he was cautious.
"Do ye think ye could suck me off? Like, uhm, here, righ' now?" George stammered subtly as he struggled to articulate himself.
It wasn't the most poetic way to ask, George turned away abashedly after asking you. He cursed himself in his head, he thought it must've sounded disgusting to you.
Your face went blunt at his colloquial request, doing this in public was quite bad, you liked his want for risk though. And knowing that you were in a derelict part of the bay gave you a blurry assurance.
George wondered if he had truly made a mistake as you remained silent, he didn't want you to think that a public shag was the best he thought of you.
"No one'll see, not here, I promise." He reasoned, placing a hand on yours.
You nodded.
He steadily went to undo his belt, you had just now noticed his stiffy through his trousers, you wondered how long he had it for.
You could see the outline more clearly the more his dusty trousers came down.
It was simply adorable how he looked away as you stared at his cock. You had done this before but certainly not in such a setting.
The sun slowly dipped below the horizon, it was getting comfortably dim now.
He timidly pulled his underwear down. George's eyes widened when you immediately moved closer, you gave a little lick to his tip. He couldn't help but moan at the feeling of your tongue, it sent a shiver of delight to his senses. He found himself captivated by the small movements.
"Take yer time." He cooed.
You looked up at him warmly.
You took him deeper than he expected you to, he thought you didn't want to arouse any suspicion.
The flushed and damp feeling left him momentarily stunned, he made staggered noises as his head tipped back slightly.
"Oh- mmm.."
He didn't even care where he was anymore, he slipped off his shoes as he couldn't resist curling his toes.
George's astonishment merged with his pleasure as he threaded gentle fingers throughout your hair, he urged you to go deeper than humanely possible, his pubes tickled you as you did so.
"Please don't stop...Please." He began whimpering.
George clenched as he got closer, the setting made his climax feel like it was coming on stronger.
He repeatedly muttered the word fuck in a trance, your mouth felt like the only thing in the world to him right now.
But he wouldn't finish, not like this anyways.
George very very reluctantly lifted you off of him. He wanted to end himself inside of you.
You were a bit confused, you thought all he wanted was your mouth.
He inched you into place, urging you to make space on the grass. His breath caught in his throat as he hurriedly got into position.
"Get on yer hands an' knees."
"Please."
You happily obliged, he lay his blazer down for you.
George yanked your stockings and your knickers down in a rushed manner, not all the way, only down to your knees, just in case you needed a sharp exit. Your skirt came up and he didn't waste any time entering you. You felt a recognisable, filling texture shift your walls. He was balls deep and it felt marvellous.
You glimpsed back at him and let out a slow moan as he started sliding in and out, he was hitting the right spot at the right time. He undeniably wasn't going to last very long with you and vice versa.
He tried to be calm with his thrusts. But his hands held your hips when he sped up, you started sweating and your clothes clung to you, it was horribly satisfying.
"Shit..."
Each time he would ease up he would rile himself up again with a new vigour, you worried about the vulgar, moist noises that came from it.
With his every thrust, there was a rhythmic sound, he became insatiable, you struggled to keep up as his pace reverberated through you. Your face rubbed against the grass, you tried to find peace in clinging onto his blazer as your hole tensed.
You could feel your heat pulsing around his, he used one hand to keep your back arched, it was primal.
"Oh Y/N, 'm gonna..."
George's stamina wavered. He pulled out frantically and wanked himself off until he came on the ground.
You had to take a moment to refresh yourselves, you didn't want to go home raising any suspicion. You carefully dressed yourselves, although it was hard with the amount of perspiration.
Your eyes met and you exchanged a knowing glance at your shared deviance.
As the humour subsided, George wrapped his arms around you as if terrified to let go.
He had a soft, boyish nature, it made you want to cry sometimes. His want to keep you closer was obvious in the way he clung to you.
"We should get married."
"George, this isn't the time..." You responded with disappointment as he chose not to prefix 'we' with maybe and suffix 'married' with one day.
"Ye don't love me?" He whispered.
You sighed, torn between your internal reservations. You struggled to comprehend George's constant longing for you, it seemed puerile at his age.
His question hung in the air. His eyes pleaded for reassurance, desperate for you to deny the creeping doubt that threatened to consume him.
Your heart wrenched at his question. You reached out, your touch tender.
"It's not like that...I do love you."
His embrace released you, there was a sprinkle of insecurity there.
He sighed to himself, "I don't mean to push, 'm sorry if I overwhelm you sometimes, I jus'...I jus'..."
His voice trailed off. You halted his rambling by pulling him into a motherly embrace.
George couldn't help but feel rejected, this wasn't the first time either. He wondered if you truly understood the love he had for you. But then again, he recognised that his intensity might be perceived as a consequence of intimate moments.
You extended a cig to him, hoping it would mellow him.
In the dimly lit surroundings, the sky had now faded to a deep blue, it cast a dream-esque glow on the both of you.
You began to trek back home, arm in arm, you both wobbled a little bit.
You shared a quiet conversation, punctuated by the occasional drag of a cigarette.
Always Him : Chapter 18
Tumblr media
          Y/n met Jeongin when they were still kids playing on the playground. She remembers being pushed by another boy when Jeongin came out of nowhere, pushing the boy that pushed her, and helping her to her feet. He kept asking if she was okay. Their friendship quickly blossomed. With linked pinkies, they promised to always be by each other’s side, and he vowed to never let harm come her way.
            By junior high they were inseparable. Wherever she went, he was close behind, and vice versa. He was the one she would turn to when it felt like the world was crumbling in. And she was the one he turned to when he felt like he wasn’t good enough. They protected each other. They saved each other.
            Jeongin was her only friend by the time they reached high school. Other friends had left her, betrayed her, broke her heart, left her crying in Jeongin’s arms. It was his least favourite sight, seeing her stain his shirt with tears.
            When Kayla and Mae came along, taking Y/n under their wing, Jeongin was skeptical, glaring at them whenever they joined them for lunch, or after school hang outs. But Y/n would always assure him that they were different than girls in the past. They truly cared about her, loved her unconditionally. I’m glad you found that kind of love, lovey. She remembers him saying, petting her head, a smile on his face.
            She remembers when he confessed, taking her for a picnic as he always did during summer weekends. Mae, an aspiring chef, helped cook all her favourite foods. Flower petals were laying on the picnic blanket, and she couldn’t help but tear up at the sight, at all the hard work he did for her. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Kayla, I don’t think I ever would have known I was in love with you. He chuckled. But I think apart of me always knew. From that very first day on the playground.
            Falling in love with Jeongin wasn’t something she expected, but as she listened to his confession, it was all she could think about. Somewhere along the way, she fell head over heels in love with her best friend.
            If you asked anyone that knew them in high school where they’d be today, they would tell you without a doubt they’re married and starting a family. Jeongin and Y/n were end game. Childhood friends to lovers. They knew the best and worst of each other and still loved each other anyway.
            First year of university, after two years of being together, the cracks began to show. He began to get more possessive, glaring at any guy that came near her. He would even glare at Mae’s boyfriend at the time, Jisung. The two boys were best friends, meeting in high school when him and Mae got together. The two couples would go on double dates all the time. He knew that Jisung wanted nothing from Y/n but friendship. Yet Jeongin glared every time he was around.
            He started accusing her of cheating, screaming at her, threatening to kill her if he ever found her with another guy. She would cry, sob to him that he was the only one. Sometimes she would silently beg for him to hit her. Mark her with his hands so she’d have a reason to walk away. So she could reach out for help and have everyone believe her.
            It wasn’t until she walked into their shared apartment, seeing Jeongin naked on top of another girl, that the first spiral began. She covered it up by saying it was first year party fever. Mae and Kayla were none the wiser, joining her every night. They watched first hand how drunk she would get, flirting with anyone and everyone to get free drinks.
            She would sneak out with Jisung to get high with him. He asked no questions, just happy to have a smoking buddy since no one else he knows smoked. It helped her forget momentarily. Forget the image of Jeongin fucking someone else in their shared bed. Forget all the words he spewed at her. Slut bag. Attention whore. Filthy cunt. Every time the words echoed in her mind, she would take another hit. Or she’d take another drink Whatever was closest.
            She knows she should have left him. Should have walked back out the door when she caught him in bed with someone else. But he had her so wrapped around his finger that she stayed. She blamed herself. Maybe if she was a better girlfriend, loved him the way he needed her to, he wouldn’t have cheated.
            So she tried her best to be the best girlfriend she could be. But still he cheated. Still he called her names. Told her he was only sleeping with other girls because she was sleeping with other guys. Eye for an eye. She tried to tell him she wasn’t cheating, but it never worked. He was convinced. But he still loved her, so he would forgive her every single time.
            He’s the reason she woke up in a hospital bed after having her stomach pumped. Driving her so far down her spiral that she couldn’t stop drinking. Well over her limit, she kept drinking, trying to numb the pain in her heart.
            Mae stopped him at the door when he tried to visit her in the hospital, telling him he’ll be the next one to wake up in the hospital when she beats his ass if he doesn’t leave Y/n alone. We promised we’d be by each other’s side no matter what! Kayla held Y/n’s hand, wiping away her tears with her free one. She did her best to keep her calm, keep her from taking Jeongin back, while Mae tried to get rid of him.
            So why was she back in his arms? Sitting on his lap in this club, him whispering in her ear about how beautiful she is, pressing soft kisses to her neck. It was wrong, but it felt so right, being with him like this. Like they were back before all the fights. Before the cheating. Back when it was just the two of them in love, thinking about forever.
            Before she fell in love with Hongjoong.
            “I need a smoke. Coming?” She stood up from his lap, holding out her hand for him to take, which he happily did. He wasn’t letting her go this time. This time he would keep the promise he made on the playground where they first met. “Do you smoke?” She held out a joint for him to take.
            “I’ll try it.” He smiled, taking the joint from her fingers. She stepped closer to him to light it for him. “You are so beautiful, lovey,” She looked away from the lighter and looked up to meet his eyes. He was studying her intently, as if she would disappear when he looked away.
            “I’ve missed you.” She said softly. “More than I’d like to admit.”
            “Then come back to me. You know we belong together.”
            “Likely story ass town.” Jeongin turned to see Mae standing behind him. And soon they were surrounded by people trying to separate them. “I told you to stay away from her or I’d kick your ass.”
            “I know that’s just an empty threat.” He laughed and then Mae punched him. “What the fuck?”
            “Yeah. She doesn’t do empty threats.” Wooyoung chuckled as Mae punched Jeongin again. She kept attacking him while Kayla took Y/n into her arms.
            “I am so glad you’re okay. I was so scared.” Y/n pushed her away, catching the fight out of the corner of her eye, and stormed over to break it up.
            “Seriously Mae? You can’t just go around beating people up for no reason!”
            “No reason? Y/n do you not remember what this dick pickle did to you?” Y/n was holding Jeongin in her arms, assessing the damage Mae caused, whispering apology after apology to him. He took her hands in his, promising that he was okay.
            “Whatever happened is in the past, Mae.”
            “Jeongin you know she deserves better than you.” Jisung spoke up. “You said you would get help but you haven’t. You’re just going to hurt her again. If you love her, you’ll let her be with someone that won’t hurt her.”
            “Y/n, this isn’t the way to cope with whatever happened with Hongjoong.” Seonghwa said. “We can get you help. Therapy, rehab, whatever you need.”
            “I’m fine.” Y/n spit back. “I’m not fucked up. I’m not a charity case or a baby that needs babysitting. Stop treating me like a fucking child.”
            “Then stop making dumb decisions!” Mae yelled. Y/n stared at Mae, seeing the tears in her eyes. She’s only seen her like this one other time. Waking up in the hospital after almost dying. Something about the tears on Mae’s face snapped her out of it. She could feel Jeongin’s grip tightening on her, but she looked at him, pleading him with her eyes to let her go.
            “I’ll get the help I need and then I’ll come back to you a better man.” He told her softly. “We promised forever and I intend to keep that promise.”
            “We’ll talk when we’re both better.” She smiled at him, pressing one final kiss to his lips. “I love you, Jeongin.” He tucked some of her hair behind her ear.
            “I love you so much more, lovey.”
Your Warmth (Omen x Reader)
@swiftyangx12, this one’s for you, mate! Sorry if it’s a bit short!
You didn’t realize that the Valorant HQ was this fucking cold. The cold air wrapped around you with an Antarctic blanket, which made you question if any of the agents even had blankets. You recently joined the Protocol to help with the fight but you couldn’t protect your world with hypothermia.
 You sat on the floor of the central hub of the HQ, shivering uncontrollably and hugging yourself to gain warmth. Your hands smooth up and down against your goose-bumped arms, the cold howling and barking viciously at your body and you were left helpless towards the biting cold. You struggled to leave the metal floor and made your way to the door, you hoped to find a blanket or at least somewhere that’s a lot warmer. Suddenly, you heard the quick “woosh” of the door in front of you. You falter back, your eyes trailing up to see-
“Omen?”
“Hello, Y/n.”
You breathed a sigh of relief. You thought you were the only person in this place! And you were glad that it was the only person that was your friend in this place. Omen truly understood your loneliness, the reason why you felt isolated from the others. You never understood him fully but you appreciated his companionship very much. You wondered how it felt, to be alone with him….well, here’s your chance.
“I-I thought you were on the mission with the others! You’re still here!”
“I decided to stay here to take care of my bonsai tree.”
Omen lifted up his bonsai plant up to your face, eyeing you curiously to see your reaction. You were a bit nervous on laying even a hand on the tree but your fingers aimlessly and gently combed through the leaves. Suddenly, the cold didn’t seem to bother you anymore, the bonsai tree gave you an internal warmth.
“Awww, he’s actually pretty cute. I didn’t expect you to be so….gentle with plants such as these.”
You shivered and you knew damn well that internal warmth was temporary. Omen did not seem fazed by the drop of temperature and you envied his non-human qualities. You wondered if he felt warm to the touch, you knew that he wasn’t a fan of physical touch (at least, that’s what you thought). Your hand moved away from the leaves and tried to smile. Your face was literally frozen, your facial muscles removed to stay in its smiling position no matter how hard you tried. Omen tilted his head, he sensed that something was wrong but you were paying attention fighting off the cold.
“Good god, it’s so fucking cold-”
“Oh yes, this is a normal protocol for the heating system. Sabine insists that we do not waste power when we are on missions.”
“This is fuckin’ normal? You can’t be serious….”
“I apologize but I am being serious.”
 You sighed as your arms wrapped around your body and you shivered. There were many things you hate and you could count them on your fingers, but this has to be the worst thing you could ever put your body through.
“Y/n, I suggest that you come to my room. I could find something warm.”
Your cheeks flushed at Omen’s words, his kindness always brought some sort of comfort. You nodded and followed slowly behind him. Once you both entered the room, you went head-first into his bed. You could hear a distorted giggle from the being. Omen crawled into bed and laid down beside you. He noticed that you were still shivering, he pitied your state.
“You are still cold, darling.”
Darling? You….most definitely heard that right. You suppressed a squeal, you didn’t want to make a fool of yourself.
“Do not worry, I have the perfect thing for your troubles.”
“Thank you, Omen. You’re a lifesaver. You’re awesome!”
“Likewise, darling. Likewise.”
He got up and rummaged through his chest of goodies, until you caught a glimpse of a wooly blanket in his clawed hands. Soon after, Omen draped you with the blanket and you couldn’t help but laugh at its loving warmth. It smelt like Omen and it felt like him as well. The blanket was so soft and tickled your skin with an euphoric heat. Once again, Omen slid into the bed. You did not need to ask if he knitted this beautiful weapon of heat, he was so talented….
 You didn’t remember when you fell asleep. Your warm dreams were filled with Omen’s humming and purring. It truly gave you peace in your slumber. In the few moments that you were conscious, you heard his deep voice purr-
“My dear, how your warmth brings me excitement. I will assure you that you will never be cold again.”
Prompt: A stoic Nines and reader. The words? Spoken by Nines: "Don't do this."
:o
Thank you for the ask! 💙 I wasn't sure which direction to go for this one, and therefore it went somewhere quite random. Hopefully you don't mind!
From this prompt list if anyone wants to request one too 😊
“Don’t do this,” he said.
His face was unreadable. It often was, although you’d gotten good at translating his micro-expressions over the last few months. There was nothing there now, only a beautiful, stoic mask. Ironically, his lack of expression told you plenty about what he was thinking.
“Nines,” you began. A warning.
The graveness in his voice took you aback. You’d been expecting him to mask his tone as much as his face. Perhaps he’d realised how little he could hide from you. It was a flattering thought, considering how he could fool almost everyone else. You wondered when he’d figure out why that was.
“I have to,” you said.
“You don’t, actually.”
“And let someone else do it? How is that fair?”
He had no answer for that, and for a moment his lips moved in a disgruntled twist.
“I don’t like it,” he stated flatly.
You couldn’t help the little amused smile that found its way onto your face. It wasn’t often that Nines allowed himself to say something so unnecessary.
“Your opinion is noted,” you said. “But it’s got to be done, and I’m not gonna duck the responsibility. What kind of example is that to set?”
You started walking, only for him to stubbornly fall into step beside you.
“I don’t want you to get taken advantage of,” he admitted.
You fought back a smile. “I won’t be.”
Something new seemed to occur to Nines, and his usual perfectly-calibrated gait almost faltered, causing a clumsy step that was too subtle to be called a stumble, but was an unheard-of display of inelegance for him.
“I…forgive me, I…I’ve misinterpreted the situation.”
You shot him a sidelong glance, unsure what was going through his head. You hoped you knew what it was, but you couldn’t be certain. Not yet.
“Have you?” you asked simply.
“I believe so. I did not realise the…attention…was welcomed.”
There was an edge to his voice that sparked more hope in your chest, and you wasted no time in calling him on it.
“Nines, are you jealous?”
“Of course not,” he retorted immediately.
It was such a human response, so defensive, that you couldn’t help smiling. You’d reached your goal, however, so you put the conversation on hold.
After studying the slumped figure in front of you for a beat, you lightly punched it in the arm, eliciting a groan.
Gavin lifted his head, eyes glassy, squinting as he struggled to focus on you. He never could handle strong liquor.
“There you are,” he slurred. “You’re so fucking gorgeous. Come home with me, I’ll show you a good time.”
You sighed, unimpressed, and Nines looked set to snap his neck then and there.
“I’m taking you home,” you said to Gavin, “but I’m leaving you there. Alone. To sober up.”
“I’m fine.”
“You’re not fine, I just found you passed out in a bar.”
“I was juss taking a nap,” he protested. “Getting my energy back for you.” He tried to wink, but it seemed to confuse him greatly, and he blinked slowly at you like a sleepy cat.
Slinging his arm across your shoulders, you hoisted him off his bar stool. He was so far gone, he didn’t resist, sagging against you as you struggled to hold him up.
“Mmm you feel good,” he mumbled, hot, sour breath on your face.
You grimaced, but started to lead him out of the bar. Nines stepped up to help you, taking most of Gavin’s weight. His expression was so murderous, it might have been entertaining if you weren’t distracted by Gavin’s horrendous attempts at flirting. You’d thought they were bad enough when he was sober.
Nines was truly jealous of this?
You needed to reinforce his self-esteem.
It was a blessedly short trip to Gavin’s apartment, made to feel longer by how talkative he suddenly was. You and Nines wrestled him onto his bed, where he tried to make you lie down with him, apparently unbothered by the android’s presence. You even went as far as to leave him a glass of water and some aspirin for when he woke up, which was above and beyond, in your opinion. Thankfully, he was snoring gently by the time you left.
“Thanks,” you said to Nines as the two of you made your way out of the building. “You didn’t have to help, but I’m glad you did. He’s heavier than he looks.”
He acknowledged your thanks with a nod, but his words broached another subject. “You didn’t want to stay?”
“Hell no.”
“But I thought…”
“Yeah, why? I thought you knew me better than that. I have standards, you know.”
His LED spun yellow as he processed.
“Nines,” you ventured, tone softer. “Why were you so set against me taking him home? Was it because you thought I’d want to stay?”
“No, it’s like I said, I didn’t want to risk him taking advantage of you in his inebriated state.”
“I can handle him. What’s really going on?”
“Friendly concern,” he said. The mask was back.
You inwardly sighed. It seemed you were going to have to steer the conversation more than you’d initially intended.
“And you’re certain you weren’t jealous?” you asked, taking a step closer to him.
“I…” He faltered at your nearness, LED flickering.
“Because honestly, if he was flirting with you and I thought you liked it, I’d be jealous too,” you said. Meeting his intense, icy gaze, you played your entire hand. “Actually, I’d be jealous if you liked anyone’s attention more than mine.”
He tilted his head, considering you for a long second or two. “Truly?”
You nodded.
“I see.”
You nodded again.
“That changes things,” he declared.
“It does?” you said hopefully.
“Yes. Because now I have a hard decision to make.”
You eyed him with concern, unsure what his stoicism was hiding this time. “Oh?”
“Yes. Do we go to your place or mine?”
You let out a relieved laugh, looking up at him as he closed the gap between you further. “You know the answer to that.”
Nines shot you a wicked smirk. “Yes: whichever one is closest.”
