The Khan’s are just PHENOMENAL. They’re so warm and vibrant and hysterical in all the best ways. The MCU is absent/shitty/dead/evil-parent-and-complicated-family central, theres too much familial feuding at times, whether that family is blood or adopted or found, so I am LIVING for and LOVING how the Khan’s are just so normal and ordinary and wonderful. It’s no wonder Kamala has such a can-do, confident, positive attitude. It’s no wonder she’s such a dreamer and proudly herself and so damn funny when she’s surrounded by so much love and encouragement. Kamala Khan and the fam need to be in more Marvel movies, their dynamic is just joyous and healing and I will NOT tolerate another Aunt May incident. I WILL NOT. so I'm obsessed with this scene from across the spider-verse

and I was looking through some saved panels of miles and kamala and noticed some familiar wording and visuals..

the "we're the same" line. the shoulder lean. the sitting somewhere up high where no one will see them :')

whether or not this parallel was intentional, and although the situation at hand is different, I still think it's sweet <3 miles and kamala are one of my favorite dynamics in the comics and I really enjoyed the gwen & miles pairing in this movie. this scene was a lot of emotions in both mediums.

i will be totally honest with y’all i can’t see Hobie (ATSV) in a romantic relationship ever. like, i can’t see him seeing anybody ever as “the one” or even having multiple partners or anything. I can barely see him having friends outside of the ones he already has. I can somewhat see the “are we dating or are we not dating” thing being something he gets involved in, but not really. i think a lot of people either don’t know or just forget that he’s probably homeless and that his world is shit rn and that stuff he needs isn’t easy to come by 😭😭 and a lot of homeless people just don’t have time/energy for shit like romantic relationships and the stuff he’s doing canonically because they’re so focused on trying to survive. That’s why when I make posts about him casually flirting or whatever it’s never serious, it never goes anywhere, because honestly! Between music shows, trying to find your next meal, fighting the power, trying to find a shelter for the night, helping other homeless people and others in need as both a civilian and Spider-Man, dealing with dimensional threats, trying to find a place to get clean, i just don’t think Hobie has time to even consider it. Sure, maybe there are facilities in the HQ to make it easier, but after that stunt, i think he’d avoid using them as much as possible. do you see what i mean??

The brain rot is getting a little too real. I spent four hours last night doodling watching Young Justice and scrolling on Pinterest.

I’m starting to think I have a real problem because I’ve been imagining writing a fic Miles Morales and Kamala Khan end up in Gotham via whatever interdimensional travel I choose. It’s starting to become a problem I think for my sleep schedule but sacrifices, you know????????

It’s understandable though, right????????? it would just just be so silly and so goofy!!!!!!!!! Because it be so impossible to write angst if Kamala was there because she’s the most loveable thing in the world

And I only could see it possible for there to be angst if she was not alone in Gotham so then I was like why don’t I put Miles in there too and then this morning I was like why didn’t I put Sam in there too???????? because they are the dynamic trio they are iconic

I love them so much and I completely changed my Pinterest feed it 4 AM:(

I feel like if Ms Marvel ended up in Gotham, the only way that they would start to become suspicious of Kamala would be through her fanfiction about Bruce Wayne secretly being Batman. She would then assigning a bird or bat to each family member. And the only reason they find it is because they’re scouring the Internet Internet as a joke.

I would be so stealing the idea from dark matter, but they would live in a fire station and it would have to be in crime alley for plot reasons.

I can’t think of anything right now, but I’ll probably make another post because they are taking over my mind:D

real talk, though.

if vision quest is about white vision regaining his memories. even if she's dead, wanda should be in that.

you can't give me wandavision and then pretend that vision's memories wouldn't largely involve wanda. or you can, but then that would carry a through line of wanda caring more about vision than he does about her (or, at least, that his priorities were/are different - which you can support with infinity war and his decision to go jump into battle and leave wanda once he noticed the avengers needed his help). and regardless, she would and should still be part of those memories.

that would be the best place to confirm or deny what the mcu official timeline is speculating re: wanda's death because a white vision who truly regained his memories would also probably seek her out, depending on how he relates to those memories, even if he doesn't accept them into who he is or decides to be.
