okay but bartylus moment where barty's whimper awakens something in regulus and later at night he's staring at the ceiling replaying the whole thing in his head trying not to use it for specific explicit daydreams. [he is also definitely the type to let barty do x pushups and have him say 'regulus' with each one]

the push-up thing is so funny i’m cackling.. barty would do it constantly to annoy him especially during the period in quarantine when the gyms were closed and he’d be working out in their kitchen. he gets all confused why reg’s “STOP IT” is so genuine and reggie is just there like i. well. um. i hate you.

I'm honestly not sure how to go about spreading optimism. Social media, the news, and sometimes your peers make everything seem bleak as hell. But really, things are improving little by little. It's kinda reflective of my own life. There are dips and potholes, but it's generally been getting better. I don't know about everyone's individual situation, but in a more zoomed out perspective, it's more of an 80/20 split. I'd like to encourage positive lines of thinking, but I have no idea how to do that.

For now, though, have a chicken orb.

Finished Crowley so Aziraphale is not alone anymore. In the pattern Crowley had short hair, but I just LOVE him with long hair, so I went with that. Though I maybe gave him a bit too much 😅

As I really enjoyed crocheting these 2, I think of making another pair- angel Aziraphale and Bildad the Shuhite

I need to take up knitting or jewelry making or something so I can listen to podcasts

I gotta have something to do with my hands or I can't focus. Only times I've been able to listen to podcasts is when I'm stuck in the car (only as a passenger, can't listen if I'm the one driving) or back when I worked for my aunt packaging first aide kits.

I think I might have done something extremely ADHD...

I tried nålebinding once something like ten years ago, and gave up after about an hour. Since then, it's been on my kilometer long craft to-do list to try learning it and obviously haven't tried it since. I never gave hope though, I even kept my nålebinding Pinterest board and the needle I made!

So, this morning obviously I woke up full of confidence that today's the day when I will nålebind again (because I'm avoiding another task on my more pressing craft list). And apparently I have retained more info from my short stint 10 years ago and/or have acquired information by osmosis because I have managed to do this with only couple pics on Pinterest as my guide:

Yes, it not great, but considering I haven't really done this before beyond a quick try, it's weirdly good.

My actual theory is that the stitch I'm using doesn't differ from sewing blanket stitch all that much and I've done A LOT of hand sewing in the past decade... Plus, I've also gotten pretty good at knitting and crocheting too and so far the increase has worked very similarly to crochet.
