Here’s the thing with people shipping Alastor, I could not care less about who people ship Alastor with or whether they ship him at all, what I do care about though is people making him allo.

This is one of the few cannon ace (possibly aro) characters out there and he can 100% be shipped in verity of ways without ignoring he is ace or aroace.

Make him aroace but still platonicly obsessed with Lucifer or Vox.

Make him sex repulsed or indifferent it doesn’t really matter (I could 100% see him having sex with someone for entertainment purposes just like I can see him being sex repulsed).

Even make him Demi/grey-ace if you must show him reciprocating sexual attraction.

Bonus points if he’s aro and you play around with platonic relationships/QPRs.

I know at the end of the day he is a fictional character and people will do what they want, but please listen to aro/ace fans when we ask you not completely ignore his sexuality when there are so many ways you can still play around with his characterization without disrespecting one of the few cannon ace characters to exist in TV.

I think the reason we were all collectively disappointed about Beast’s transformation at the end of Beauty and the Beast is because he just looks like a guy. Human Mrs Pots looks like if Mrs Pots were a human. So do Cogsworth and Lumiere. But Prince Adam just looks like a guy with pecs and hair that’s a bit longer than the other Disney princes’ I guess.

Few things

Here's my Secret Life designs for Tango n Skizz. Uh. No they aren't matching. Tango does not want to be a part of this, given he straight up called Skizz "dead weight". Not to his face, but. I don't think they would be matching

This was drawn without me knowing smth like this basically happens in Session 2 (Skizz wanting to trade hearts with Tango to seal the deal and Tango jus. Bein like "nah we gotta save these for bargaining reasons"). I drew this before realizing this was. Basically what happened. Despite this I am gonna keep drawing Skizz with that lil locket on

Slightly redesigned Skizz. again. It isn't anything noticeable it jus makes coloring him easier

Tango's design has. A lot of notes to it. The green hair for starters. Ya know how if you get chlorine in blond hair it will make it a yucky green color? Yea that's Tango's hair. Whatever hair dye he's been using for his blue hair on HC is FINALLY fading and it looks like this. Makes him look stinky /aff. I also added purple beans to his void hand as well as redstone staining. Muted his colors a bit too

ANYWAYS THOUGH YEA I AM TOTALLY NORMAL ABOUT WHATEVER THESE TWO ARE. GOING THRU IN THIS SEASON. 100% NORMAL ABOUT THEM <- lying

there are of course thousands of fanfics where someone is rendered wildly OOC, often by becoming far too nice and good at expressing emotion, in order to seamlessly facilitate their transformation into the protagonist of a romance. but it's really really really funny when the person they do that to is mace windu.

Since people are discussing Larian’s “people pleasing” updates with this latest hot fix, I’m gonna add my two (unnecessary) cents to this as well. I really love Baldurs Gate 3 for the choices and agency it affords me as a player. That’s its main draw to me. However, when comparing it to its main inspiration (i.e BioWare games), the writing in BG3 is far worse.

And I think this shines through the most with the companion content disparity. I do think Astarion is a very well written character, but I also think his popularity partially comes from the other characters being far too underwritten. This isn’t even touching on Karlach’s lack of depth and the shocking disparity that is Wyll’s entire storyline/character. But other companions like Shadowheart and Gale, while well written, lack the same attention and suffer for it.

And god, the villains. I think that’s another egregiously bad area of the writing. Kethric gets a whole act! Meanwhile, Orin is interesting but crammed into sharing space with Gortash. And Gortash is given an incredible backstory that ties to another villain, but nothing is done with it and it’s mostly hidden in notes. And the story overall is just ok. Act 2 is easily the most compelling. But compared to BioWare, the story is lackluster imo. The Dark Urge plot line is the most interesting part of the overall main storyline, but it’s not afforded enough detail or content (imo).

And none of this is helped by Larian removing bits and pieces of their characters in these hotfixes. I really wish they’d just start adding content to flesh out these problem areas, especially Wyll and Minthara.
