Peace or War? For me, i would chose peace than a war because peace used to calm our minds that can help us to avoid some inconvenience which is still possible to have a war. War is a conflict between parties within a nation. I didn't chose war because i want some calmness and quietness to focus more on what i am doing.

"Israel and Palestine Conflict"

Saturday, October 7, 2023, with a coordinated surprise offensive on Israel. The attack/war began in the morning with a barrage of at least 3,000 rockets launched from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip against Israel. 2,500 Palestinian militants breached the Gaza–Israel barrier and massacred civilians in neighboring Israeli communities. While 1,400 Israelis were killed, including 260 people at a music festival in Re'im. Unarmed civilian hostages and captured Israeli soldiers were taken to the Gaza Strip, including women and children. The day later, Israel declared that they are at war.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is fueled by a number of elements, including racial, national, religious, and historical ones. Islam and Judaism dictate the role of religion as the main factor in the conflict, including the sacredness of holy places and the apocalyptic stories of both religions, which are harmful to any chance of a durable peace between the two parties. Religious Zionists in Israel demand that therebe no concessions to Arabs because they regard themselves as preserving the Jewish state. Islamist organizations support the liberation of "holy" sites and regions while endorsing violence and enmity towards Israel and the Jewish people.These organizations are found inPalestine and throughout the Islamic world. The possibility of long-term peace between the two factions is hampered by these religious issues.

The "peace camp" parties dominate the Israeli political landscape, which is based on parliamentary democracy. However, Israeli people are the target of Palestinian suicide bombers, diminishing their impact. This signalled a significant shift from the First Intifada's lower level of violence to a higherlevel of conflict settlement. The increase in Palestinian violence was interpreted by many Israelis as a rejection of Palestinian attempts to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict peacefully, undermining Israeli efforts to create Palestinian authority and supporting the idea that a lasting peace was impossible. The United States Institute of Peace works to strengthen diplomatic peacemaking efforts, improve community security for Israelis and Palestinians, empower Palestinian and Israeli civil society actors to foster trust within and between their societies, and develop institutional capacities that lay the foundation for a fair, peaceful, and long-lasting resolution to the conflict.

The fact that "In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, one of the most intriguing elements Jews and Arabs did not see themselves as belonging to an ethnic or cultural group in 1850. Linguistically uniform, territorially based country in the modern understanding of the word." Both peoples had formed such solid national ties to the other in less than a century. They are destined to endlessly bleed the blood of their fellow claimants on the same parcel of land, in a perpetual struggle for power. The majority of academics believe that this battle began when the nation of Great Britain adopted a strategy for the in 1917, making it pretty clearly defined that colonization of Palestine in accordance with the demands of a group of politically active Jews who went by the name Zionists.

An unofficial security partnership made up ofIsrael and other Arab nations is referred to as the Arab-Israeli alliance. The countries that support the Israeli people are the US, UK, Australia, France, Norway, and Austria among others. These countries have not only been supporting Israel but also backing its rights to self-defence against the attack by Hamas. And the country that supports Pakestinian people is Saudi Arabia, Islamic Jihad, a Palestinian militant group that is an ally of Hamas.

Thousands of rockets rained down on areas in Israel in the first few hours. On October 17, Palestinian militias continued to sporadically shoot into Israel. The militant wing of Hamas, the al Qassem Brigades, claimed responsibility for 26 mortar and rocket attacks. Saraya al Quds, the militant wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), claimed responsibility for five additional rocket attacks. The al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the militant wing of Fatah, claimed responsibility for two Gaza-based mortar attacks on Israel. CTP-ISW also noted reports of five unclaimed mortar and rocket attacks. Attack frequency is similar to that recorded by CTP-ISW on October 16.
