Home protection salt bowl 🏠
I made a home protection/energy cleansing salt bowl today. You can honestly swap out any of these ingredients if they do not suit your needs but this is what I used:
Sea salt- protection, purification
Peppermint- luck, abundance, happiness
Red pepper flakes- protection
Eggshell powder- protection
Cinnamon stick- abundance
Citrine- happiness
Black tourmaline - protection, negativity absorption
Selenite- negativity absorption
White tea light- cleansing energy

🏠Home Protection🏠
I have been collecting a bunch of ways to protect your home daily, weekly, monthly, and passively. You can do it all or only one, completely up to you. Hope some of this helps! Amazing books that have helped me cultivate this:
📖A witches Bible by Janet and Stewart Farrar
📖The encyclopedia or witches, witchcraft, and wicca by Rosemary Ellen Guiley
📖Grimoire of a kitchen witch by Rachel Patterson
Cinnamon
Blow cinnamon out of the doorway at the beginning of each month
Add it to a cleansing spray
Sprinkle on carpet and vacuum
Make a home cleansing spray
Use moon water as the base and add protective ingredients - rosemary, lavender, cinnamon, lemon.
Wash bedding with the intent of washing away negative energy and bad dreams
You can add a tsp of lemon juice in the wash to help aid in protection.
Bring in fresh flowers
Honeysuckle helps good marriages for people who live there, attracts love, luck, and wealth.
Lavender helps aid with protection, sleep, and peace.
Dandelions promote happiness.
Light candles
Candles that are cinnamon or lemon scented
Black to absorb negativity
White to repel negative energy
Smudging and Incense
The best way to go about this is to use homegrown from your garden. I personally grow sage, rosemary, mugwort, and lavender specifically for this.
A bundle hung at the door
Rosemary and lavender
Mugwort
Protection Sigils
You can make your own or use curated ones.
Hang horseshoes
If you don't have a horseshoe the whole point is hanging iron. So if you have iron that would work as well.
Hang bells
Putting them on the door handle ensures they chime frequently and cleanses the space.
Scatter bread
Doing this in your yard, especially if it's bread you made, is a symbol of protection and provides a gift to the spirits.
Witches Bottle
There is an old way to do this but many people are uncomfortable with doing that. You can add nails, salt, cinnamon bark or powder, and fill it with lemon juice. Bury it in the yard and you should have the same effect just not as potent. In a sense. Be sure to really give intention.
Salt!
You can make a line at the doorway.
Throw it behind you while cooking.
Scatter in the yard (Epsom salt is great for this)
Leave in bowls on shelves.
Amulets
Pentagrams
Binding runes - Ligatures of two or more runes, often used by creating into a single, unified symbol. They usually share a common vertical line.
Runes - The alphabet in which we see our nature revealed. Derived through the god Odin. Specifically the protection rune would be a great addition to places in your home.
Ankh - Representative of life after death and God's death and resurrection. Osiris and Isis. It is an Egyptian symbol.
Crystals
Agate
Carnelian
Jasper
Obsidian
Quartz
Plants
Whether inside or outside planting protective plants is a great way to protect a home
Rosemary
Aloe
Lavender
Shielding
While meditating you can imagine a shield forming around you, your room, your home, your yard. Give intention and make sure you are rooted.
Ashes
Save ashes of protection spells and smear above doorway.
During litha, collect the ashes of the bonfire and use in your garden or spread above the doorway.
You can add ashes to salt and make black salt. Use the same with extra potent energy.
Oranges
Scatter orange peels around the yard.
Use the dried peels in your witches bottle.
Dry oranges and hang them.
Sabbat protections
During imbolc you can plant a potato with a piece of paper or leaf with intention of protection for your home and bury the potato.
Ostara you can make eggshells to sprinkle or egg candles.
Beltane and Litha you can use fire to your advantage for extra potent protection spell work.
Mabon is a great time to do summer pots, add apples, cinnamon, lemons, and oranges.
Samhain you can make sachets, charm bags, ancestors altar, wreath, carve pumpkins.
Yule is a fun time of year. Lighting candles, Simmer pots of apples and cinnamon, hang pine cones, wreath made of pine, yule log.

Home Mirror Protection Used In Real Hoodoo.
Tumblr media
In the south decoration the home is something you'll see a lot of and it’s connected to a desire to protect ourselves from evil spirits. Similar to protecting your home with haint blue on the porch or having blue bottle in a tree, putting a mirror out side on the porch or door can prevent the devil from entering your home.
The belief is the devil can only enter at at a certain time before he must go back. If he comes across a mirror, he'll get distracted by his reflection and spen the home hold night looking at his reflection that he forgets to enter. Who know who much is true but the one thing is true the use of a mirror for protection and it's does work. This will give you redirect and send back that negativity.
Get yourself four small mirrors (cheap dollar store mirrors) write the 23rd Psalms on the back of the mirrors and place them outside at each corner your house in the North, South, East & West location. Have the glass facing away (outward) from the home.
This will give you protection.
Now another thing you can work it is by adding a little sulfur.
After you set you mirrors add a little mound of sulfur on the ground behind the mirrors and that will send back any negativity with some strong stank on it if you know what I mean.😄
A little southern mirror divination, if you see a mirror fell which ever direction a means it is the direction the haters are at..
So if you see someone from that live in that direction and is coughing hard to breathe you know that's them..

Practical Home Magic: The Front Door
I'm a bit of a homebody, so it only makes sense that my primary focus in my magical practice is on my home. When I establish myself in a new place or renew my home's protections, I follow the same pattern every time.
The name of the game is layers. Having a single layer of protection over the entire home, not unlike a bubble or a garden wall, is fine for plenty of people. I've always been a magnet for spirits, though, and I like to include more in my walls to bring in what I want, not just keep out what I don't. So, like paint, I need more than just one coat.
And as you do with most places, I like to start at the beginning: the front door.
This is the first part of a series all about magic in the home, currently exclusive to Ko-Fi supporters! You can get early, extended, and exclusive access to my work for as little as $1. If you like my work, consider leaving a tip!

Why Florida Homes Are at Higher Risk for Water Damage
Florida living comes with sunshine, palm trees—and a higher risk of water damage. The Importance of Stabilizers for Home: Aulten Mainline Stabilizers
In today’s world, where electricity powers nearly every aspect of our lives, ensuring a stable power supply is crucial for protecting home appliances. Voltage fluctuations, a common issue in many regions, can damage sensitive electronics like refrigerators, TVs, and air conditioners. This is where stabilizers for home use come into play, and Aulten stabilizers, particularly their mainline stabilizers, stand out as a reliable solution.
Aulten stabilizers are designed to regulate voltage effectively, safeguarding your appliances from overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuits, and overloads. Unlike traditional stabilizers that protect individual devices, mainline stabilizers are installed at the main power line, offering comprehensive protection for all connected appliances in your home. This makes them an ideal choice for households facing frequent power cuts or erratic voltage conditions.
The Aulten mainline stabilizer range includes models like the 5 KVA (4000W) and 10 KVA (8000W), catering to varying power needs. With features like a wide input voltage range (e.g., 90V-300V), digital displays for real-time voltage monitoring, and wall-mountable designs, these stabilizers combine functionality with convenience. The use of copper in some models enhances conductivity and durability, ensuring long-term performance.
What sets Aulten apart is its commitment to energy efficiency and user-friendly installation. These stabilizers not only protect your appliances but also help inverters and UPS systems charge faster during outages, keeping you prepared for emergencies. Backed by a 2-year replacement warranty, Aulten offers peace of mind, making it a trusted name in home power solutions.
Investing in an Aulten mainline stabilizer means brighter lights, faster fans, and a longer lifespan for your appliances. For homes seeking a robust, all-in-one voltage regulation system, Aulten delivers unmatched reliability and performance.
