I apologize for this late response, but I knew I was gonna be getting wordy with this one. Because I looove the boudoir photos idea in general and OH MAN just thinking about all their reactions is making me crazy lol. I was going to just do my regular sort of response, but this turned into full on headcanons oops.

So just in case anyone missed it, here is the original post!

My thoughts change a little bit depending on whether MC is present when the characters receive the pictures, so I included both! I only did the bros but I might be willing to do the rest upon request!

Lucifer

When you're with him, Lucifer is calm and courteous, but with a flare of arrogance. Of course you would give him such a special gift. It's only natural that you would trust such intimacies to him.

He asks you if you're trying to tell him something. Has he perhaps been neglecting you, MC? Did you give him this so that he wouldn't be able to help himself? He's onto you.

No matter your reason, he can't look through too many of the pictures before wanting the real thing that's sitting right next to him. Tell him you still have some of that lingerie in your possession. Especially if you happen to have some in his colors.

If you aren't with him, he's going to be a lot less arrogant in general. He will find you later, make no mistake. But he's honestly so touched by your gift that he spends a lot of time looking through the album, simply admiring you.

Mammon

Mammon is freaking out no matter where you are the time. If you're with him, it's definitely a lot worse. Blushing profusely. Opens the album then slams it shut because he can't handle looking at it for very long.

You can't help but giggle at his reaction and then it's all stop laughin' at him MC!! You'll need to take his hands or maybe kiss his cheek, let him know that you genuinely just wanted to give him a nice gift, you aren't trying to tease him or anything.

Ask him if he likes it. You'll get a serious response. Calms down enough to say 'course he likes it. Likes it so much, he suddenly can't keep his hands off you.

If you aren't with him at the time, he buries it under his pillow or otherwise hides it because this is now one of his treasures and nobody gets to see it but him!

Leviathan

Levi is another one who'd be a blushing mess no matter what, but if you're there at the time, he might retreat to his room and not let you in. He needs that barrier between you because if he sees you right now, his heart will explode.

He'll let you back in eventually, but it might be a minute. He needs to calm down. Are you trying to kill him, MC?! Even when he does let you in, he can't look at you directly. He's probably covering his face with his hands.

Reassure him that you gave these photos to him because you trust him with them. They're personal, intimate, and you want him to be close to you. He's going to calm down the more you talk to him. Pull his hands away from his face and when he sees the sincerity in your eyes, it flips a switch. Might even slip into demon form just to wrap his tail around you possessively.

If you're not with him at the time, he's going to need to take care of that raging boner of his right away. He won't be able to focus on anything else until he does. He's so embarrassed, he has to watch several episodes of Ruri Hana to recalibrate.

Satan

He will try to keep his expression unreadable. He's not having any over the top reactions, but as he flips through the photos, he keeps getting redder and redder. You're sitting right next to him, how can he not react? At some point, he has to close the album because he feels like he's looking at something he shouldn't.

Satan is quiet about how flustered he is, but he's having a hard time looking at you. He tries to say something and incomprehensible lines about how beautiful you are fall from his lips. He sounds like a broken record of spoken word poetry or perhaps a very drunk beat poet.

Recovers himself after a minute. As soon as he's composed, you're in his arms. You knew what this would do to him, didn't you, MC? You'll find yourself pressed up against the nearest wall in moments.

If you're not with him, Satan will tuck your album into a stack of his other books. He thinks it's well hidden there - in plain sight. But he's hyper aware of it. Keeps coming back to look at it. Ends up having to put it on the bottom of a stack behind a different stack to make it more difficult to get to.

Asmodeus

Thrilled. Absolutely thrilled in every way. Oh, wow, MC, you look amazing. He's breathless. He's entranced. He's even blushing because he knows what it means that you've given these to him. He's so in love with you, he can't stand it.

Asks you about everything you may be wearing. Comments on the skill of the photographer. Tells you that next time, you should do one together. He has so many ideas. He wants to do one where all you're wearing is jewelry - bright and sparkling, just like your soul.

Covers you in kisses. He's not shy about how this is making him feel, how much he wants you. He just wants to see your beautiful figure here and now in real life, MC! Won't you let him worship you?

If you're not with him, he will find you immediately so he can say all of the things he needs to say in that moment. You can't leave him alone with all these feelings, both physical and emotional. He brings them all to you without hesitating.

Beelzebub

It might take him a minute to understand exactly what he's looking at, mostly because he's never even heard of this. He doesn't know what a boudoir photo shoot is, so you might have to explain it to him. Once he understands, he starts lightly blushing as he looks through them. His expression is serious because he's beginning to see just how special this is.

Honestly surprised that you would give him something so intimate. He's touched. He's going to hug it to himself and look at you with tears in his eyes because he can't believe how lucky he is.

Give him another couple minutes to look through them and then he's having different feelings. He's not sure if he can hold back, MC. Tell him it's okay, that you don't want him to, and you'll find yourself on your back on his bed in zero seconds flat. You're quickly reminded why he's the Avatar of Gluttony.

If you're not with him at the time, he will figure things out on his own, though he'll have a plethora of questions for you later. He keeps it close to him at all times until you answer them because he knows one thing for sure - he doesn't want anyone else seeing these.

Belphegor

Oh, he sees what you're playing at. Trying to fluster him, are you, MC? Trying to rile him up? Are you sure you can handle him when you do that? He's so wound up by the gift he can't act normal about it. He's actually very touched by it, but he's not sure how to deal with the feelings, so he comes on too strong.

You laugh because to you, this is expected. You understand that this is Belphie's way of dealing with his own shyness. You respond by meeting him with just as much intensity. It's all kisses and touching and fumbling in the dark.

It's only later, when both of you are calm, when you're nestled in his arms, that he admits to you how much it means to him. That he tells you how he'll cherish the album you gave him. That he says he's stunned by how gorgeous you are, even more brilliant that the stars in the sky.

If you aren't with him at the time, you'll be dealing with a petulant but horny demon later on. He's going to be annoyed at you for leaving it for him and then not being there when it inevitably turns him on. Just as possessive as his brothers, he hides it in the attic where no one is likely to find it.

When Izuku first finds you throwing up, he's beyond ecstatic. Growing up with his mom was great but very lonely. He always wanted a white picket fence kind of family with three kids and a dog. To him, that was a perfect family, and there was nobody better to start that with than you.

After months of trying he was finally successful. Sure, you weren't exactly on board with the whole pregnancy thing and maybe he had to switch out your birth control pills with placebos but he was just doing what was best for the both of you! Why couldn't you see what he was trying do?

What was that? You don't want to keep it? Oh...well, that's just too bad. Izuku would do just about anything to get the family he's always wanted. Even drugging you and chaining you up in his basement. Don't panic, it's okay! It's just temporary. As soon as he changes your mind, Izuku will let you go, okay?

BAKUGO KATSUKI

Katsuki isn't really a family man to be honest, so he doesn't try to intentionally get you pregnant. But he's willing to see the silver lining when you do get pregnant. After all, maybe a baby is just what you needed to stop acting like a fucking brat all the time.

Plus, he likes when you start needing him to do things for you, like giving foot rubs and back massages and making healthy meals for you. But Katsuki's a bit of a sadist and can withhold these things, leaving you to fend for yourself, if you don't behave. You can't leave so there's no other person you can rely on.

Overtime, you start to become more docile, not just for the purpose of getting something. Mostly because, its...nice to have Katsuki dote on you. He can be sweet when he wants to be and you need all the help you can get right now. It doesn't hurt that he's pretty level-headed most of the time and can easily handle your pregnancy hormones flaring up your emotions.

Maybe being trapped in his house wasn't going to be as bad of a situation as you thought.

TODOROKI SHOTO

Shoto is very freaked out. He had a really sad childhood and the worst father so he doesn't even want to put himself in a situation where he ends up just like Enji. If you also don't want the baby, he is so relieved and starts looking into adoptions, etc.

But if you do want the baby, well...this is him...

He's trying his best okay?

Shoto really does try to be supportive because he would do anything for you to be happy. But like...yeah. It's easier before the baby gets there, when it's just you and him. Once the baby comes, good luck getting Shoto to even stay in the same room as them.

AIZAWA SHOTA

Shota isn't too bothered about you getting pregnant. He wasn't a fan of condoms and you didn't use birth control so it was bound to happen sooner or later. He would be a pretty good dad too, albeit a little strict and would help with the kids, unlike someone else *cough Shoto cough*

Shota finds it adorable how you waddle around or cry because your tea is warm instead of hot. He loves when you become more needy and cuddly. Honestly, Shota's just having a good time. Good enough that he wouldn't mind getting you pregnant over and over again.

He never saw himself wanting a family before but seeing you so cute and round, just does things for him and he can't help but want to see you pregnant all the time. Whether you want that or not :)

Porcelain Steve

Eddie is, perhaps, the only person who seems to be handling the fact Steve has been turned into a porcelain doll in a level-headed sort of way. Probably because he's the newest person to be privy to Upside Down shenaniganary and quiet honestly just thought 'ah. Of course. Why wouldn't something like this be possible?' instead of freaking out and screaming like everyone else.

"It's a physical impossibility, Robin!" Dustin shouts.

"Well, we thought monsters didn't exist before, but guess what-" Robin is shouting back.

"The monster situation was scientifically plausible, now proven scientifically true! Transforming a living person into a doll is magic, and magic isn't real!"

"It fucking is now! Look at Steve!! Look at him!" Robin, who is holding Porcelain Steve, shakes him in Dustin's face, complete with the clack of porcelain on porcelain.

Eddie isn't even fully aware he moved from his spot on the couch in the Byers-Hopper living room until he's snatching Steve out of Robin's hands with the thought of 'he gets migraines too easily for you to shake him like that' and then is left wondering if little Porcelain Steve can get migraines. "Stop waving him around like a flag, Buckley. Porcelain is fragile, you could break him."

It's a testament to how worried Robin really is about breaking Steve that she doesn't instantly rip him back out of Eddie's hands like she had when Nancy had first picked him up.

"We don't even know that's Steve," Dustin has never been gracefully about potentially not being right and now is no different.

"I know that, Henderson!" Eddie snaps, pulling Steve to his chest in a protective two armed hug, "But wouldn't you feel like shit if this is Steve, somehow magically changed, and we've accidentally murdered him by busting his little porcelain face?"

That brings Dustin to a pause and Robin starts up again, backed by Will now.

Eddie retreats, not back to the couch, but out the front door and away from the arguments. Aside from hating the sound of people yelling at each other himself, he doesn't want Steve to hear it either. Steve only enjoys an argument he can be bitchy in, and he can't really participate.

That is, if Steve can even hear anything. If this is actually Steve changed, and not just the creepiest ransom threat left in the form of a perfectly porcelain replica. Down to the moles on his face and the scars on his torso, which Robin had claimed felt like paint when she'd ran a shaking finger over them.

He sits down gently in the front lawn, crisscrossing his legs and lays Steve in the cradle they create. Blank hazel eyes stares up unblinking into the sun and Eddie finds himself hovering a hand above Steve's face to... protect his eyes, he supposes. He'll admit to feeling a little embarrassed about doing it -anyone walking down the street could see him shielding the eyes of a doll in his lap- but if Steve is trapped in there, can see out those eyes, well, he'd rather do the kind thing and be little embarrassed about it.

"Don't know if you can hear or not, Harrington," Eddie says, "but worry not. If anyone can figure out how to return you to your flesh prison, it's this crew. Not that you need my assurance on that. You know what they're capable of better than I."

It's quiet on the front lawn except for the occasional car rolling down the street or dog barking somewhere down the road. Eddie's never been a fan of quiet, so he talks to fill the silence. Not about anything really important. He recaps the current Dungeons and Dragons campaign he's running for Hellfire, which has been relocated to Jeff's dining room for the summer.

"And Will, very smart strategist that one, delayed his turn in initiative -that's the order they take turns in in combat- to cast Fireball in the room once everyone had run out of it. Worked great, especially since several of the creatures were invisible at the time and-" Eddie goes on, interrupting his own story to explain mechanics, or spells, or give backstory on why something was important, so that Steve wouldn't be too confused about everything. It probably all still sounds like a foreign language to him, or he's just tuned Eddie out, but Eddie would like to think that Steve would appreciate it.

Eddie sits outside long enough for his butt to go numb and for the sun to shift lower in the sky before he hears the front door open and close and Robin sits herself down next to Eddie.

"Come to some sort of agreement yet?" Eddie asks, turning his face towards Robin.

"No," Robin sighs, reaching a hand out. At first, Eddie thinks she's going to take Steve but she just pets at his hair for a moment before pulling her knees up and wrapping her arms around them. "El's got an idea, though. Don't know why we didn't think of it sooner. She's going to try and find Steve, y'know, with her mind. Someone will come let us know what she discovers, so no rush to head back in."

"Oh," Eddie replies dumbly, looking from Robin down to Steve. They sit quietly for a few minutes before Eddie says, "Is it wrong of me to hope that this is Steve?"

"Depends on why you hope that's Steve, I guess."

"'Cause then we know he's safe," Eddie says softly, almost a whisper. "'Cause if this is Steve then he's not... not kidnapped somewhere, alone, maybe being beaten up or tortured or- those things happen far too often."

"Then no. It's not wrong to hope. I think right there in your lap is probably the safest place Steve's been, well, ever."

"I don't know Buckley, he was pretty safe in your hands."

"I shook him around like a ragdoll, Munson," Robin levels him with a look, "I'm woman enough to admit I get caught up in my nerves and don't think of consequences. I'm not, like, the number one klutz or anything but it didn't even occur to me that we could really hurt Steve until you said it. Like, what if what happens to the doll actually happens to Steve? What happens if his arm shatters or-" she cuts herself off to pull in a shaky breath.

"Nothing is going to happen to Steve," Eddie says, voice more confident than he truly feels but comforting Robin is important. Steve usually grounds her with some bitchy look and sarcastic phrase but he's not close enough to Robin for him to be sure he wouldn't just be insulting her instead of joking. "I won't let anything happen. You won't. No one in that house would."

A deep breath from Robin, then, "yeah. You're right. You hear that Steve? We've got you, and nothing's going to happen to you except becoming a real boy again."

Eddie huffs out a laugh and sits in the quiet with Robin, waiting to be called back inside once El has made contact with Steve.

Honestly, if the chain were to go to the age of calamity era Wild would likely freak out. Just, him not remembering what hyrule was like before the calamity probably made him not fully aware to the extent of it all and now to be placed right in it, the guilt would crash into him full force.

Every corner would probably be compared to to his hyrule as it is now and when they get to the place he spent most of his time he would be hit with memories all the time.

When he meets that version of himself and the champions he would likely feel shame (even though he really likes how he is now) at not having been able to do the same. It's likely also really confronting to see the old champions alive. To see those that recognize him with such sympathetic smiles, it's a lot to handle and likely needs some time alone.

Cal (aoc link) would likely see wild with so much sympathy and respect. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to go through that all (and he likely doesn't know that they didn't send the little robot). He was only able to avoid the calamity because of the warning the robot gave and because of the new champions helping them to fight the calamity.

He frankly is also jealous of how Wild is able to like he does. He feels he can't, it's not in his job description after all and he's the hero. Even now the pressure of being the hero is a lot and is still leaving him nearly mute.

When Cal joins the chain it's rather awkward in the beginning. After all, he's basically wild while at the same time he isn't. Wild walks around him with a good few meters between them. There's shame and envy between the both of them and they need to talk it out. Both aren't inclined to do this, but Cal bites the bullet and admits he's jealous of how Wild can talk to anyone he wants to. Doesn't feel like his mouth gets sown shut whenever someone he respects is in front of him. (Cal does have a lot of difficulty socializing with the other heroes. Attempts were made by both sides, but it was just rather awkward.)

Wild is probably a little baffled by the way his 'original' self is jealous of him of all people. It makes him chuckle and asks if he's for real?

Cal nods and says he's having a difficult time and if he could help him out.

This makes wild silent for a while before he finally asks if Cal is not ashamed of him. "How could I? I barely survived due to help from your era. If anything I have a lot of respect for you."

This made Wild feel relieved and a lot lighter. The person he thought would judge him the most didn't. He was even jealous of him!

After this their interactions become a lot smoother. Wild includes cal in conversations a lot while Cal shares memories that Wild would ask for. It's where Wild finds out he had a little sister coincidentally called aryll which Wind hears and makes him very excited! Blabbering about his sister and comparing the two. Both Cal and Wild feel content in that moment.

Eventually the chain would call them the twins.

Agreed! I had a daydream once where the chain ended up in Cal's era but Wild was the most at risk.

Everywhere he would turn (more or less) would just ignite another memory and leave him out of commission. Especially since a lot of the building are still standing and what not.

You're right about Cal being jealous over Wild's ability to just be.

But I don't think Wild would be able to look the other living champions in the eye. He'd probably ask how they survived. When they mention the little robot, he'd be so confused. It starts to make a little more sense that everyone didn't make it without the robot- heck, they barely made it even with the robots help.

Wild would probably be less award around Cal after the initial ice is broken though. Probably try to get him to break his stupid mask over something as dumb as eating rocks (again).

But after a while, he'd see that he really hasn't changed that much. Because despite everything, it's still him.

~He starts getting way more violent than he used to be during hunts. Anything to protect you.

~Din's just realizing how important you really are to him. Doesn't understand how much something means to him until it's gone, he's learned, so now he's around you and just...looking at you and appreciating you and being so freaking worried over something that doesn't exist and isn't happening

~Super stressed out if you ever need to leave to do something, or even if you just want to go shop around or get something to eat.

~It comes off as him being super annoyed, but he honestly just doesn't want to see your back when you leave, and he's scared of you getting injured, kidnapped, ect.

~He used to always be fine with you doing literally whatever you wanted because he knew you could handle yourself. Now he's worried about the smallest thing happening and does not want you going anywhere.

~(Y/N): I'm going out to eat

~Din: we have food at home

~Clings to you and then tells you that you're the one following him when you say something about it. He gets embarrassed.

~But then he feels bad and realizes that's a form of gaslighting you so he rejects what he said and tells you that you're right.

~Really, he's just an emotional mess. He gets over it slowly, but Din really just wants to make sure you're safe and that you're happy with him. After Grogu left with Luke, you're the only person he has to take care of. He likes feeling needed by you 🥺

~So now you're the baby!

~He did already have separation anxiety due to his parents :( so now it's worse. It's not permanent, but he definitely starts overthinking about you and your safety.

~Just be patient with him, he'll be okay.

~The man just worries a lot and loves you.

Perhaps love wasn't the right term. Well, you really did love him. He just didn't feel the same way. You were foolish to think he loved you back.

Maybe it was just Akademiya love or you were just a hopeless romantic and he happened to be a good manipulator. It started when you were in desperate need of tutoring and for some reason you thought of reaching out to the one and only Zandik. He was the school freak, but also very smart. So you reached out to him. You told him that if he tutored you, he would be safe from bullies. He thought about it and eventually gave in.

As time passed, you started to develop feelings for him. Now this wasn't good. You purposely acted as if you didn't get every single lesson just to have him tutor you. You even noticed that he started to warm up to you. Or so you thought. Weeks after he was expelled, you were devastated. It felt so wrong living away from him. So you decided to quit the Akademiya and look for him. After months of searching for him, you finally found him. You begged him to let you be his assistant, to stay with him. He didn't need one honestly, he already had his segments. But he let you become his assistant anyways.

After years of helping him. All of a sudden your relationship became..... romantic? He would suddenly be sweet to you and you did the same. You decided to ask him what you really meant to him, wrong move. "Well, you've been very loyal to me like a little dog. Let's say...... I like you." The dog part caught you off guard a bit but he just said he liked you. He actually liked you.

However, even after that conversation nothing much changed. He still stayed cold and distant. You let him be though. You started bringing him food and caring for him ect. At first he tolerated you interrupting his work but after a while he just snapped. "Y/N FOR THE LAST TIME I. DON'T. WANT. TO. EAT. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN?" You were shocked because he had never shouted at you like that. "But Zandik you haven't eaten in da-" "SHUT UP! YOU HEAR ME? SHUT UP!" He pinched his nose bridge and turned to you. "I don't need food or sleep or anything! I don't need you! Leave me alone okay?! You have done nothing but annoy me and interrupt my work. Do you really think that I would ever need help from a person like you who does nothing but talk and pretend as if they're so important? Leave, now! Get out of laboratory I don't want to see you!" Your tears were flowing down your face as you turned around and grabbed the door handle. "I'm sorry Dottore, I'll leave now and for good."

You rushed to your room and packed your clothes. "How could I be this stupid? I can't believe I actually thought he loved me." You woke up early the next day and looked for a way back to your home land, Mondstadt. To be honest, Dottore never loved you, hell he never even liked you. He just used you as another worker. He could care less about you and hearing that you were gonna leave soon was great news for him. He didn't need another piece of trash following him around. You took the next boat and left. You were heartbroken. But at least now, you're free.

• Way way way to proud of you to be upset or jealous, and he will proudly proclaim to everyone that you're his little girl/boy constantly.

• Even if you're taller than him, and even though EVERYONE already knows you're his kid!

• He would literally toss you up onto his shoulder, regardless of your size, and he'd then parade you around all of Asgard if you don't beg him to stop.

• Magni is probably the best dad you could have asked for out of all the Gods tbh.

• I mean when you were born you honestly became his number one priority, you are his everything, even more so than your own mother.

• Mama bear is the best summery to Magni as your father, but like he's so proud of everything you do, and he always encourages you to set your sights even higher.

• And what could be better than obtaining Thor's hammer?

• Whenever your uncle Modi starts acting up, your father puts him back in his place. No one and I mean no one talks ill of you.

• Modi probably even takes it so far as to challenge you, but before you even catch wind of it, or have a chance to accept or decline the offer.

• And he honestly wants to be angry with you, or even hate you... But he simply can't.

• You're his child, his only child. And despite his jealousy, he is proud of you.

• And he knows first hand how worthy you truly are, he's trained with you your whole life after all, he knows how powerful you've become.

• But because his jealousy is still there he acts very cold with you, which was a real change of pace, as he used to engage with you joyously.

• His resentment turns to his father, for never giving him the opportunity to prove himself.

• And when Modi notices just how fond of you Magni is, and how your uncle is often praising you for your accomplishment.

• Oh buddy.

• He gets even more jealous, and starts fights with Magni, often telling him that he should just claim you as his own instead, since he wants to "steal" you away now that you have such power.

• Magni would be happy to step in and take his place, he knows you deserve the honor of being Thor's successor, and you don't deserve the cold shoulder your father is giving you.

• But Odin and Thor both talk him out of it, they all know why Modi is acting this way, and they feel it's best to just let it resolve itself.

• In time Modi gets over his jealousy as they had suspected when he actually sees first hand just how worthy you truly are.

• He'll scold himself for being so blind, and he'll apologize to you in his own way, when he finally musters the courage.

• He is proud of you, he just couldn't see it until he let go of that jealousy.

• Not long after he's made amends with you, he's back to his old self again, being the caring upbeat father you had known your whole life.

• Magni also stops being so harsh on Modi when he realizes he's made things right with you again.

• All is right in the world, and you are far more powerful with your family at your side, than if they alienated you because if their envy.

Idk if you’ve said something about this already but what do you think about the Gallavich fight in S10E08? How do you feel about Ian’s broken leg?

oh wheeew, you know, i don't know if i have talked about this much? but boy howdy, do i have plenty of thoughts.

so like. okay. i get it? i get it. it's so fucking painful for both of them. ian has been trying to protect mickey from day one - the job for his parole in s2, trying to stop frank from getting popped, keeping him on the straight and narrow (mostly) in s11. so getting married to keep him out of jail? easy.

meanwhile, mickey is having the same conversation. so while the concept is not new to him, he's surprised ian would actually suggest it. to him, he it's a crappy reason to get married. it's not romantic, it's not grand and beautiful like they deserve. but in trying to keep each other safe, it's one of the more romantic things i've ever heard. still, he wants ian to propose to him, not to this problem. and that is so valid!!! after everything they have been through, this isn't how he saw their married life starting - if he ever really let himself go there at all.

i do think ian believes it to his core when he says that this is not the only reason they'd be getting married - just like i think he believes it when he gets in the car to go to mexico. he loves mickey, he wants to be with mickey. but in this case, the drive to do it now and like this is absolutely to protect him. and the decision really isn't that hard, like he says.

but when that factor of keeping mickey out of prison is taken out of the equation, i think ian gets a little whiplash? like oh holy shit we almost just did that??? over the course of a day??? so while mickey is up and ready to go, having gone all in - as he often does - ian is suddenly faced with the reality that the only thing mickey is getting out of this is HIM. and it freaks him the fuck out.

ian picks up the pen and i think every unresolved insecurity hits him all at once. and honestly? even if he handled it poorly, and i do believe he did, taking a moment to cool down and check in was probably a good idea. now that they don't have to rush it, is this how they want to do it? is this really what mickey wants? can ian even give it to him? they deserve the time to answer these questions, ya know? and whereas mickey might be willing to figure it out as they go, we know ian doesn't quite trust that he can do that. this changes a bit, but in the moment i think he just couldn't see past it.

so what drives me insane about this fight is that he does try to talk, even if he says a million wrong things in a row. but even if ian wants to talk, mickey is well within his rights not to hear him. he's well within his rights to get out of this immediate situation that is hurting him. ian IS hurting him, and it's important to acknowledge that.

BUT. i do not like the way people respond to ian saying "i just wanna know how you feel" because. agh. YES mickey has shown his love time and again, and ian has felt it time and again.... but when it comes to things like this, sometimes you just need to hear it. and then hear it again. with minds like ours, it can be hard to just trust our own experience or understanding, ESPECIALLY in emotionally charged moments when things already feel warped and scary. he needed time to sort through it all. once he was in, HE WAS IN. we know this!

so for ian to stand there like that, asking for what he needs... and wanting to talk about it..... only to be hit in the fucking face? gross. i hate it. it's fucking terrible. and again, mickey is WELL within his rights to leave ian standing there. he's well within his rights to say FUCK YOU and rage and stomp and let ian know exactly how he feels. i honestly think ian kinda deserved that. mickey doesn't owe him emotional clarity or work in that moment. mickey feels like he's only worth marrying because he can't keep himself out of trouble, and that's gotta be a shitty fucking feeling after everything. he feels like ian led him on, and he's valid to feel that way, even if i think even ian couldn't see the path he was taking. but really. ian did let him down.

but like. he didn't have to hit him. i don't know how you look at the face of someone you were just willing to MARRY and then do that? i know they needed to write cam's broken leg into the storyline, but honestly fuck that. it would have been just as easy for ian to break his leg falling while trying to run after mickey. and then? mickey easily could have been like "well here's your phone call 911 SEE YA" or even "hey i called 911 okay SEE YA" or perhaps "okay i brought you to the ER in this cab now SEE YA"

so.... like i said, i get it. the conflict is true to character. it's HORRIBLE to see, but it does make sense. i would personally restructure the entire 10th season to give this storyline more breathing space. but yeah. this where i lean heavily on fix-it fics lol 😇

I love your fic, your watch is running honestly, it is my favorite fic but I saw that this is pre-canonical and I had my doubts about how the events of the manga They would develop with the relationship of Teru and Aka's fic, for example, the relationship between Aoi and Akane's childhood friends would not be there, I would like to know how the separation arc would develop because in the manga when that happens, Akane only loses his ability to control time but without major damage but here xD poor aka, and the current arc of the festival with the great clock and the blood kills supernaturals.

This has nothing to do with it, but knowing that Aka liked Sosuke's photos a lot, if he dies and is condemned at school, I only see Aka, not knowing who he is but liking his photos a lot and I would start to fill him with questions about what he was like be a human being and teru just saying: now also in is your problem.

I'm sorry if it's too long, I just wanted to get my doubts out of my head, I hope I don't bother you.

I know I used the ‘pre-canon’ tag, and while I do want their world to be the tbhk world (with some artistic liberties), I am afraid the canon plot has already been kicked so hard it is far easier to treat it as a disconnected au in the same universe. 

We don’t need to go as far as the Grim Reaper Sacrifice’s arc for major changes to show up, the reason Nene met Hanako in the first place is because she wanted to date Teru, the equivalent of a school celebrity that you can only ‘score’ with magic, but by the time canon start, Teru would already be dating Aka: He is off the market.

So if she could see Teru with a lover I can’t imagine her trying to break them up to get Teru to date her, so she would not eat the mermaid scales.

The butterfly effect of this, plus Akane not existing, would be insane, and it would just pile up with time (cause I know canon teru has info about the supernatural that hasn’t been revealed yet, and since the fic is in his pov it just doesn’t work. He can't be a mysterious character with big secrets as a narrator). I just used ‘pre-canon’ so people would know Teru would be aged down, the most I’ll do is make references every once in a while about a canon thing... I’m sorry if it gave you hope for the future anon...

Your ask does make me imagine how Aka would handle meeting mitsuba and a severance though.

Poor Mitsuba would catch no breaks if his ghost met Aka, you are right that Aka would be a nightmare. Mitsuba, even when he tries to be as annoying and intimidating as he can, isn’t nearly as intimidating or cold as Teru, so Aka is completely unshaken when he is called a ‘pushy pervert!’ or anything of sorts.  And when Aka learn Mitsuba took the pictures?? He’ll be unbearable (Mitsuba would be a tiny little bit happy someone like his photos so much, but still mostly annoyed) Mitsuba’s rest will have no peace.

As for the severance: Aka would be doing a school patrol with Teru during obon, and since there are no signs of struggles (Akane isn’t there to fight the supernaturals), or glasses left behind it would take Teru some time to realize someone was kidnapped, he may even be oblivious to it until Aka start cracking.

Both would panic, Aka does not know about the severance and one of his biggest fears is to disappear, so watching his body crack would make him lose it. Considering Teru would panic too but try to be calm, Aka may believe this is the end and cry, (he isn't exactly a crybaby but he does cry far more easily than Akane.)

Teru would freak out because he knows how Aka’s memories work: The supernatural is a keeper of the present, so he was ‘built’ to live in the present. Memories of his day-to-day life are harder to forget than memories of something that’s detached from it. 

For example: If a student graduate and never show up again, Aka will forget memories about them far easier than memories of someone he sees every week. If he is put somewhere that he has never been before and he doesn’t know anyone, he will have no connections to his school life and lose his memory way way faster so that he can avoid being stuck in the past and just enjoy the present, adapt so this new place is his new home.

So Teru is scared of just how much Aka might forget. He gives him the bracelet full of bells that he had given Aoi, and makes him promise to not take it off no matter how ‘itchy and uncomfortable’ the bells fell for a supernatural (the bells are his only guide towards whatever boundary Aka lands on).

Ren: (Watches the Horror Movie While Sitting on the Sofa With Makoto) Hm. I gotta say, the crew behind the movie did pretty good job making the mask look more terrifying than it already is.

Makoto: (Holding Onto her Boyfriend's Arms to Dear Life as Sighs a Bit Heavily) Please don't remind me.....Why did they have to make a horror movie based on Winnie the Pooh of all things? He's one of the most sweetest teddy bears in the world!

Ren: (Shrugs) Probably to take a spin on horror narrative maybe? I'm surprised they didn't get sued yet......(Starts Noticing Makoto is Starting to Shake Like a Leaf Before Gently Rubbing her Arm in Comfort) Hey now. You know, I really thought I'd read Play Away part 2 and be fine! I mean, we were finally getting a Kiribaku scene, I was ready for Bakugou to fully accept that he wants to be with Kiri! I did not expect that scene to end the way it did, you weren't supposed to hurt me!

That said, I freaking loved it! My God, your brain!!! I knew something would happen with the phone and I thought he'd probably see the calls afterwards and feel guilty but it was genius to have him see it during sex and react like that! Poor Kiri tho! Honestly, if I were in Kiri's place, I wouldn't have handled this very well! As a reader, I liked that Bakugou still loves us and wants to come back but I also want him to be with Kiri and be happy! 😭 I'm torn! You have such perfect timing tho, because since I'm going through an angst reading phase, that's exactly what I needed to read right now!

I had forgotten how much I love reader and Sero in this fic and if I'm honest I think their 'goodbye' hurt a little more than Kiribaku's! They have great chemistry, I love the dialogue and you can see how easy it is for them to be with each other, it comes so naturally!

No one's happy in this fic, at least not yet (fingers crossed we get a happy ending) but I think for Kiri and Sero, it's worse! They're the ones who know what they want and they've wanted it for a long time and they get a glimpse of what it'd be like to finally  be with reader and Bakugou and then it's over! Poor babies 😭

You did an amazing job with this chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next! 💕

There have been some changes… Thought I’d at least try and step up my game a little. Everyone else’s blogs are so pretty - I felt left out. But, yeah - it’ll be 1 year in August. Which is mental thinking I’ve been writing smut about fictional men for that long! 🤣

In my defence, I did say it was going to get worse first! I’m so glad (and relieved) you liked it tho - there’s a lot of awkward symbolism and parallels in there that I think get away from the point a little, but I felt like I needed a bridge of wrapping up outstanding emotions before we progressed to the new normal, if that makes a lick of sense?

Kiri’s carrying so much guilt I feel like he feels obligated to lose Bakugo? Like he deserves it… Which makes things a bit awkward. But, I’m totally with you about Sero and Reader. They’re the ‘innocent’ parties in this, so there’s an added ache for Sero especially, I feel, which is worsened as he starts to realise he’s very much caught up for Reader.

I’m not going to say it’s a happy ending, but it’s not going to be full on angsty either… Saying it’s complicated feels like a cop out, but it is!

Don't Go

Billy did threw the keychain away when he got home. It was on the trash can he has in his bedroom, beside the desk. It remained there, among a few school papers for half an hour before he took it again.

It went right back to it's previous place at the nightstand.

Billy is deliberately skipping class. It's the fourth day now, and he doesn't feel like he'll be returning tomorrow.

He leaves everyday at the same time he would for school, and returns after. But he drives to lonely places where he thinks he can run away from his own mind. But it is everywhere he goes.

She is everywhere he goes.

Billy Hargrove did considered going back to his old ways. He even managed to make his way to the phone, ready to call Stacy again. But when he picked up the phone, he caught himself halfway through her number. The number that belongs to the girl he can't stop thinking about. To the girl he can't ruin. Whose life he can't destroy.

She's too good for him, and he knows that. An angel, as stupid as it may sound coming from a asshole like him. Because that's what Billy thinks he is. He'd live a thousand lifetimes and never deserve (Y/N). Her smile, her laughter, her blushing cheeks. Her amazing, sweet scent, that shine in her eyes when she looks at him.

What does that even mean?

Billy is looking at Hawkins, parked on this cliff. (Y/N) would like it, and he wonders if she ever came here. Probably not, since the only people who know this place are those who come here for a hook up. There are a lot of places Billy would like to show her, some of them would take an hour drive through the woods, but it's worth it. He found them soon after getting into town, because he couldn't handle to stay still, so he drove. Pretty much as he's doing now, constantly running away from something that's inside of him.

Sighing, he pushes the car door close. At this time, he should be leaving school, going to her place as always. Today they'd go over the Biology class, if he's not mistaken. (Y/N) loves it, mostly when it's about animals. She loves birds. She didn't had to tell him that, he got it from the way she smiled as the teacher spoke.

These little things, the small details, as silly as they may be, are making him fall harder.

But he can't.

Well, he can.

But not her. Billy knows who he was. Or who he still is. So he knows what people will say about her. They'll call (Y/N) mean names, say she's just another of his sluts. And that's something he can't do, not to her.

But despite knowing this is the right thing to do, it hurts. It hurts that he has to step away from her, for good this time. Billy doesn't know how he'll live from now on without their daily meetings. Without her soft voice, her sweet scent inebriating him every damn time.

He has it bad.

It's only worse because he remembers it clearly, that day at that stupid parlor, how she said they could try. They could wait and see what happens.

That was a chance. A small one, that probably would lead to nothing, but still, a chance. Something he never thought he'd get. Not with (Y/N). But now, he won't even try anymore.

This might be love, he thinks. Putting someone else's well being before his own.

It's a hard thing to acknowledge, but when it's real, there's no way to run from it.

Sighing, Billy starts the car, putting the daisy keychain on the passenger seat. For a moment he sees her image, looking at him and smiling. On the next second, it's gone.

With a weight on his chest, he maneuvers the car, heading back to the hell on Earth he calls home.

“I don't know, Nan. He just... He disappeared. Like smoke in the air and I don't know why.” Sitting shotgun in Nancy's car, you let your heart out. Billy didn't show up at school last week, and not today either. It's been five days already, and he doesn't even answer your calls.

“You know Billy Hargrove, (Y/N). I'm not impressed with this sudden change and neither should you.”

“No, Nan...” Running a hand through your hair, you sigh. “Trust me, Billy... He's not like that. Not with me at least and I know what you'll say. That he lies to get girls but... I've seen how he treats them and so have you. He... He never yelled at me, or called me bad names, he...” You're defending him. The idiot fled with no explanation and still, you're defending him.

“(Y/N), I trust your judgment.” She stops by your place, turning her body towards you. “If what you're saying it true, go after him.”

“I–”

“Look, I get that you don't want to talk about it because you're scared of having feelings for the bad boy, and I'll wait until you're ready, but honestly, I think you know what you feel.”

Looking down at your hands, you blush. “I really like to be around him, Nancy.” Your voice is low and weak, as you admit it to her and to yourself at the same time. “And I miss him.”

“Don't call him, then. Go after him.” She touches your shoulder, smiling. “...Just don't let Steve know Billy is making you sad because you know he'll freak out.”

“God, no!” Giggling, you reach for your bag on the backseat. Steve looks out for you, even now, and it's good to know he has your back. But you definitely don't need the two guys having a fight over some misunderstanding. “Tell him I'm fine. Because I am. I'll... I'll fix things. And if Billy does want to stay away from me for whatever reason... I'll be alright.”

“Good luck and call me if you need anything.”

“I will. Thank you, Nan.” Giving her a hug, you step out of the car, heading inside. “Mom! I'm home!”

“Hi, darling!” She shouts from upstairs. Taking the chance, you run to the phone, quickly dialing Billy's number. It's not the first time you call, and whenever he picks up, you say ‘hello’ and the call is cut. It breaks your heart every time.

“Who's this?” A female voice answers, slightly pissed.

Relieved, you breathe out. “Hi, Max. It's (Y/N).”

“AKA the reason why the shitface has been locked in his bedroom like a jerk.” She speaks fast, and you furrow your eyebrows and giggle. “I think Billy is in love with you or something.”

“What?” Max says as if it's no big deal, as if she didn't made your heart start beating insanely fast, neck and cheeks heating up. “I-I don't think–”

“Billy never gets upset over a girl so...” Her voice fades, and you hear something in the back, wondering if it's Billy. “He has your keychain, by the way. A daisy flower.”

“Keychain?” You don't remember any keychains, so you just sigh, pacing around. “Max, can you do me a favor? I'm going there so don't let Billy go anywhere. And when I ring the door bell, let him answer it, please.”

“Alright. But don't take too long. Neil will be back around eight.”

“I'm going now. Thanks.” And you hang up, heading to the front door. “Mom, I'm going to get Billy!”

“Alright!” Good thing she doens't ask much questions, God bless her for that.

You try not to drive too fast, and you try to tell yourself this is no big deal. But you don't know what will happen. Preparing yourself for a heartbreak sounds good, so you decide to expect the worse.

So when you're parking on the sidewalk in front of Bill'y house, you know what you'll do. You'll put a finger on his face and ask what the hell he's thinking skipping class like that.

When you reach the front door, you realize you've never been here. Well, Billy did dropped his sister a few times before driving back to your place. And then, you're whole act drops. “Damn it.” Pressing the door bell, you wonder if you'd have enough time to just run back to the car and leave. There's a discussion inside the house, with Billy telling Max to get the door, and she refusing. You would have time to run, but you decide to be brave. So you stand your ground, pressing the bell again.

“Damn you, Maxine.” Billy groans, and on the next second the door is violently pulled open.

You freeze, watching as Billy's face drops. “Hi.” You mutter, looking down at your hands, blushing. You shouldn't be here. This is stupid. Whatever Billy said at Scoops Ahoy, it's over. But still, you want to try. To break through him, even if it means you'll be pushed further away. “C-can we talk?”

There's silence, several seconds of silence. And you curse yourself. Billy would never like you. He's the bad boy Nancy warns you about, that girls like you should avoid. Biting your lip, you feel your throat burning, tears wanting to make their way to your eyes.

“Nevermind, I shouldn't have come.” Pushing the words out, you turn on your heels to leave. But Billy grabs your arm, forcing you to stop. “Let go.” You beg, looking back at him. Your heart is breaking and you don't even know why. You just need to be away from Billy right now, and from all these feelings boiling inside you.

“No, please, just... Don't go.” His grip gets loose, and his hand slides from your forearm to your hand, and he holds it, pulling you inside. “Come in.”

Taking a deep breath, you weakly nod, letting him pull you into the house.

To Infinity and Beyond: baby!Jack truthing Birthday Ficlet

Today already looked like the perfect day. Warm weather, the sun shining, the birds singing, all the usual qualifications for "perfection". And if Dean had anything to say about it, it is also going to be, the perfect day.

Because Dean had planned out everything. Tents and tables spread out in the backyard of their new house, enough hamburgers and hotdogs to feed an army, a giant sheet cake in the freezer, and it looked like a Party City catalogue threw up all over their house, both inside and out. Hell, he and Cas even got a bounce house.

Yup, today was going to be perfect, Dean thought as he surveyed the backyard. He was going to make sure of it, nothing was going to go wro-

"To infinity and beyond!"

And the next thing he knew, he had a recently turned four year old, barreling into his legs almost knocking him off the porch.

He looked down to see Jack already dressed in his outfit for the day. A shirt with Buzz Lightyear's costume printed on it, complete with little cardboard Buzz wings (Cas made them), purple shorts with a purple tutu, and of course, his favorite Buzz light-up sneakers.

"I'd say that was a bit of a crash landing there, Mr.Lightyear" Dean laughed, as he bent down to right Jack's scribbled cardboard wings. Jack just ignored his reference, instead letting out an excited shriek as he took in the backyard.

Every tablecloth, plate, napkin, cup, balloon, and cardboard decoration was covered in Toy Story characters.

Toy Story, was the end all be all in their house, because they were Jack's favorite movies. So everything, was 100% Toy Story, 100% of the time, hence the party theme. And his favorite character was Buzz Lightyear, hence the costume.

"Dee where's your costume?" Jack questioned, after he finally recovered from the shock of seeing the, probably, overdecorated backyard.

"Yeah Sheriff Woody, where's your costume? It's almost one thirty" Cas called as he stepped out the backdoor. Cas was already dressed in t-shirt with Jessie's outfit printed on the front, her matching red hat, jeans and of course, cowboy boots which Dea-wait shit they only had a half an hour left.

And he hadn't even double checked th-

"The backyard and inside of the house already look incredible. Go on and get ready before everyone starts arriving" Cas smiled sweetly, knowing how worried Dean was about today.

"I will, after I chec-"

"Dean, I promise, I'll double check all the decorations, and the food. Me and the little space ranger have got it covered, right baby?" Cas supplied, looking fondly over at Jack.

"Yeah me and Da got it! Get dressed Dee" Jack cheered, as hopped down the steps and raced "flew" across the grass cardboard wings flapping behind him.

"Go get changed, cowboy. Everything already looks perfect" Cas teased, pressing a quick peck to Dean's lips. And then he was bounding down the steps towards Jack, warning him not to go near the bounce house.

So Dean reluctantly walked inside, forcing himself to ignore all of the things he wanted to check on, and instead making a beeline for their bedroom. He quickly pulled on his costume, but unlike Jack and Cas it was the real deal, not just a graphic t-shirt, Dean had the actual shirt, the vest, whole nine yards. Jack had asked if Dean would wear a real Woody costume and, hey who was he to deny his kid on his birthday?

So with a sigh, Dean made his way back to the living room so he could reorganize the snack table.

He wanted everything to be perfect today. Perfect for Jack because, this was his first real birthday party after all. And because Dean's oldest memory was of his fourth birthday, his last birthday party actually since it wasn't like they were throwing big family bashes on the road. No, birthdays were a box of cigarettes from his Dad (if he even remembered), or Dean sometimes scraping together enough money to get a cake for Sam's birthday.

Which is why today had to go smoothly. Because Jack deserved the world, he deserved to have a good life filled with memories of big family parties with fun decorations and food and laughter. And Dean could give it to him now, give him what he and Sam never had. So today had to be special, it had-needed to be perfect.

"Dean, I don't think Jack is going to care if the clouds are a little crooked" Cas pointed out, amusement dancing in his voice as he walked into the living room.

Dean huffed a laugh, but didn't stop his mission to straighten out the paper "Andy's Room" clouds taped to the wall above the table. Cas just sighed as he gently pulled his hand away from the wall, turning Dean towards him.

"Dean I know how much you want to make this day absolutely perfect for Jack, believe me I do too. But he's going to love every single second of it. He's practically bouncing off the walls already, and the party hasn't even started yet" Cas assured as he squeezed Dean's hands.

"I know, I know. But he deserves to have the best damn birthday. Especially after everything and he's just- Jack shoul-" Dean started, only to be cut off by the sound of the doorbell.

"It's Uncle Sammy and Aunt Eileen! Can I open the door, please?" Jack called from down the hall, asking for permission.

"Yeah buddy, you're allowed to open the door. Let them in" Dean shouted back, unable to help the smile pulling at his lips when he heard Jack enthusiastically telling them about "all the cool decorations".

"See? Jack is already loving it! Now relax, and enjoy the party, cowboy. Everything is going to be perfect" Cas smiled as he made his way down the hall to greet Sam and Eileen. But not before giving Dean's ass a little smack.

A few hours into the party everything was smooth sailing, and Dean had only been scolded for readjusting some decorations four times. The kids Jack invited from his class were having a great time, as where their parents, which was especially great because not a single one of them managed to see a member of Dean and Cas’ family discreetly place their weapons in the spare bedroom (Dean wasn’t a fool, it was a party full of hunters, he wasn’t just gonna make a no weapons rule because what if something happened?). So then Dean and Eileen manned the grill like champs, Cas and Garth kept an eye on the kiddos in the bounce house, Sam had handled the Buzz Lightyear shaped piñata perfectly, while Dean organized the kids, making sure Jack was the one to break it. The sun stayed shining, the birds kept singing. Everything was perfect.

Until it wasn't.

And it was all Dean’s fault.

Dean's stomach dropped as he stared down at the now smudged faces of Woody, Buzz and half of the green aliens. Because Dean just smooshed the entire left side of the cake while trying to take lid off.

He just destroyed the most important part of the party, the part Jack was most excited about. Now Dean just ruined everythi-

"-come in star command, do you read me?" Cas joked, completely startling Dean, because how long had Cas been standing there?

"Dean, what's wro-oh" Cas sighed as soon as he caught sight of the cake. 

"I friggin smooshed the whole thing with the lid. It's destroyed we can't-the party and Jack and-" Dean rambled, heart pounding against his chest, while Cas took the life from his hands and gently set it on the other side of the counter.

"Dean, stop it's okay breathe for me. It's just the cake. It's not your fault. It's still edible, we can fix this" Cas soothed as softly cupped Dean's cheeks in an attempt to ground him.

"Hey are you guys alri-oh shit" Eileen gasped as she and Sam walked through the kitchen door, which caused Dean’s heart rate to pick up again.

"It's okay, it'll be fine. We can try to scrape some of it back together with a knife" Sam offered, quickly moving Dean and Cas to the side so he could get at the cake.

But it only made the faces look completely unrecognizable.

"Damnit, what are we gonna-"

"Dee! Can we have cake now?" Jack asked as he came racing into the kitchen, and Dean, Cas, Sam and Eileen quickly huddled in front of the counter to hide the cake from sight.

"In a few minutes squish, we're still uh-getting it ready" Dean managed plastering a wide, hopefully convincing smile on his face.

"Why don't you go jump around the bounce house again, buddy?" Sam suggested, which had Jack nearly bolting out of the kitchen again with a nod

"Make sure one of your aunts or uncles, or your friends' parents are watching you!" Cas called after him, which only got a tiny "okay Da" in response.

They all let out a breath when they heard the backdoor slam, and quickly turned to look at the offending cake again.

"It's not that late, what if one of us runs to store and see if they have ano-"

"They won't, we ordered this specia-"

"And there seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere" Claire joked as she entered the kitchen and quickly surveyed the mess before her, eyes widening when she spotted the cake. And Dean normally would have teased her the reference but he was too busy, freaking the fuck out, so he chose to ignore it.

"What do we do? We can't fix this, there's no time it's completely rui-"

"Wait, dude calm down. I have an idea, hold on a minute" Claire proclaimed, and swiftly exited the kitchen, which did pretty much nothing to calm Dean's panic. In fact he was getting desperate.

"Do you think Rowena might have a spell-"

"That's not how magic works. But honestly Dean, I'm sure Jack won't even notice-"

"The kid can recite the entirety of Toy Story 2 from memory and you don't think he's gonna notice Woody is missing his entire head?"

"Alright, start grabbing the Toy Story figures and wash them off. Then we can put them all over the cake instead, and cover up the horrifyingly smeared faces" Claire ordered as she came back into the kitchen with Kaia in tow, and box of Jack's toys in hand.

And Dean could have cried from relief (he did).

"Holy shit Claire you're a genius" Dean praised, as he quickly began sifting through the box.

"I know, I know. Now c'mon, I want cake"

And a few minutes later everyone was gathered around the dining room table, singing a completely off key rendition of Happy Birthday. Jack was seated in the center of it all, with a half smooshed, slightly lopsided, plastic figure covered cake, with Dean and Cas crouching on either side of him. Jack hadn't even commented on the completely smeared face of Woody or Ham, he was just clapping along, bouncing in his seat. In fact, he the biggest smile Dean had ever seen on his face, and he teared up at the sight.

"Blow out the candles and make a wish, baby" Cas encouraged, and Jack attempted to do just that. Only succeeding when Dean secretly helped blow out the candles for him.

"Yay! To infinity and beyond!" Jack shouted again, as he stood up and jumped on his chair. The room easily erupted into laughter, while Charlie and Jody each snapped pictures from across the table.

"Alright Lightyear, let's not fall with style into the already smooshed cake" Dean joked, as he quickly stabilized Jack, which only caused everyone to burst into more laughter.

So, Dean scooped up Jack, sitting in his chair and placing him on his lap, while Sam offered to cut up the cake. And Cas took plopped down in the chair next to them, sliding him and Jack a plate.

"Are you having fun at your birthday party, baby?" Cas questioned as he handed Jack a plastic fork.

"Yeah! Claire jumped in the house with me! And Danny and Sarah and me played in the sandbox! An-and we played tag, and Aunt Donna played too! And the cake has all my friends on it, see!" Jack rushed out all in one breath, stopping to point at the now sliced cake. By "friends" he of course meant his actual Toy Story figures of course. But before Dean could even react to any of that, Cas was whispering in Jack's ear, and pulling away.

"Thank you for all the party things, Dee!" Jack beamed as he turned and threw his arms around Dean's neck.

And Dean's heart clenched as he tightly wrapped his arms around his kid, feeling a tear roll down his cheek. He looked back up to see Cas smiling widely at them, so Dean whispered something in Jack's ear too. And then Jack was off flinging himself around Cas' neck.

"Why doesn't all the family get together, I can take the photos" Marissa, the mom of one of Jack's friends offered.

And soon the three of them were surrounded by their family on all sides. Everyone laughing when Marissa suggested they all say "yeehaw" instead of cheese. Jack giggling when Claire zoomed over, and bent down so she could smoosh their faces together for the obligatory "silly face" picture. Dean quickly swiping icing on both Cas and Jack's noses, causing Cas to tip Dean's cowboy hat and Jack to shove a handful of frosting on Dean's cheek.

So maybe it wasn't the flawless, smooth sailing birthday party Dean had planned. But the weather stayed warm, the sun still shone, the birds still sang. His family laughed, and ate and had a blast.

And Jack looked about as happy as they had ever seen him, as he ran around the yard with his friends and played games with his family. Dean would even go as far to count it as a complete success. Especially since Jack asked Cas, "when can we have a big party again?", as they tucked him into bed later that night.

So as far as Dean is concerned, it was the perfect day.

Asa

Asa is definitely the person in your life who understands your paranoia the best.

On your worse days, he is your stability, always there to bring you back to reality when your thoughts start to get the best of you. He's well-versed on how to handle your paranoid episodes, asking you grounding questions and giving you reassurance. "Where are you right now?" "There is no one in the house except for us."

He starts to bring his dogs home with him when he leaves the hotel. You've always loved them, and they're good guard dogs, so their presence in the house helps ease your nervous mind.

He opens up to you about his childhood and the way he was after his family's murders. He wants to show you that you're not alone, that he's been in that dark and scary place too, some days he still thinks he is. He's going to be there for you whenever you need him, because he knows you'd do the same for him.

Jesse

If you ever feel an episode coming on while Jesse is away on business, he will come home immediately, no questions asked. If you need it, he'll even send one of his employees to stay with you until he can get there.

Jesse wants to help you however he can; you may catch him reading articles online about supporting mentally ill loved ones. He wants to be well-educated so that he can give you the support you need.

He'll do anything to help your peace of mind. With his money, you can bet that your house is going to be decked-out with the best state-of-the-art security system on the market.

He might even consider taking you with him on his business trips, if it will make you feel safer.

Jason

Jason is definitely going to be a little anxious when it comes to helping you with your paranoia.

He's never dealt with anything like it before, and so he will need you to be patient with him and explain how to help you when you're going through an episode.

He eventually gets the hang of it, but that doesn't change the fact that he still freaks out internally whenever you go through an episode. He can't help it; he hates seeing you upset.

Once you've calmed down, he will be happy to get you a hot drink, wrap you up in a big blanket, and just do whatever he can to make you feel safe and comfortable.

Michael

Michael has had a lot of exposure to people with mental illness, and while it doesn't mean he necessarily understands you any better, he at least isn't freaked out by your behavior.

He just isn't someone who is used to helping people, but he will genuinely try for you. Just don't raise your expectations too high; he's trying his best.

If he notices that you seem more on edge than usual, he'll give you a silent head tilt as his way of asking you how he can help.

He won't tell you, but he does initially worry that his presence would be more unsettling than helping. He is honestly relieved to find out that you feel much safer and more comfortable with him around.

Bubba

You're definitely going to need to sit down with Bubba and discuss your paranoia early into your relationship, because if you have an episode and you haven't previously told him how to handle it, he is going to freak.

He'll still be anxious when you're having an episode, but he will remain calm in order to help you through it.

If his brothers try to bother him while he's comforting you, he will send them a glare that will have then turning on their heel and leaving the room before they can finish their sentence.

He won't leave your side for a second, even after you've calmed down (unless you ask him to, of course).

Thomas

Thomas has always been protective of you, and learning about your paranoia makes him even more so.

He has all of your triggers memorized, and he keeps an eye out to make sure you avoid them whenever possible.

Sometimes he can even tell when an episode is coming on before you can. If he notices that you seem jumpier than usual, he'll be quick to comfort you and reassure you that you are safe.

He'll always inform Luda May when you're having an episode so that she can keep Hoyt off of his back. His first priority is and always will be you.

Bo

You're going to need to be patient with Bo. When you first inform him of your paranoia he'll sit and listen, but he honestly doesn't really understand the severity. He's likely to just consider it really bad anxiety and not worry too much about it.

That changes the first time you have an episode. He's taken off-guard to say the least, and will probably ask Vincent for help and advice on what to do.

Through lots of communication, you two eventually get to the point where he can effectively help you through your bad days.

Whenever you paranoia passes, you might notice him being a little softer with you than usual. He won't say it, but he does honestly worry about you, and he wants you to feel like you can rely on him when you need him.

Vincent

Vincent is so gentle with you, and that only increases on your bad days. He moves around you nervously, as if you're made of glass and will shatter at any given moment.

He tries not to let his worry show, wanting to instead just focus on helping you, but it can be hard. It's difficult for him to watch his favorite person go through something so terrible, but he tries to be strong for you.

One of the only times he'll actually stand up to Bo is when you're going through an episode. Just one stern look is enough to tell his brother that now is not the time.

He's always overwhelmingly relieved once an episode has passed. He'll still fuss over you more than usual for a few days afterwards, but he's just grateful to know that you're okay.
