Really hate how comfortable people feel about saying the most rude shit to me when I talk about my pet rats! So I’m not pulling any punches anymore.

If you say something like “oh do you feed them to snakes?” After I’ve made it clear that they are my babies

actually. the specific phrasing that boy Kevin wants to kill older Kevin with "I must disassemble him, piece by piece, so that everything inside of the Old Kevin comes out. Only then can the New Kevin truly begin." is so incredibly the idea that to heal from trauma and "improve" you have to destroy every "wrong" part of yourself, that everything "tainted" by it has to somehow be replaced by something untouched (which isn't possible)

June 13th, 2010 - October 18th, 2023

It is with a heavy heart and immense sadness that I let you all know my sweet baby boy Leonard passed away this morning. He was 13 and a half years old, which is the oldest German Shepherd I've ever known. He was happy and healthy until about a week ago when he took a turn. He was surrounded by love, affection, and his favorite foods right up until the end. Just yesterday he was eating his favorite treats.

He lived over a year longer than the vet predicted and I am so so glad to have had that extra time with him. He's my little engine that could.

Leonard was my silly little guy, a friendly goofball that never failed to make me smile. He was fiercely protective too, despite his friendly appearance he was a powerful defender.

I am going to miss him so so much. There is a hole in my heart exactly his size. My only solace is he can be with his brother now, they were always inseparable when Vincent was alive.

Goodbye, my baby boy.
