You mentioned Lambert gets scared if someone jokes about eating them/lamb meat. Will that play a role in the story? (Also love the world building with the anthropomorphic and non-abthro animals)

As a kid, Lambert was an apprentice for a butcher so they did see and participate in cutting and selling animal meat.

While working for the butcher, who was an old man that needed help keeping his bussiness up, Lambert grew attached to one of the sheeps who was not cut up past it's supposed date and grew really big because it was the butcher's grand daughter's favorite sheep.

To end up as a meal is a sheeps fate and in the end it wasn't diffrent for that sheep either.

When you put both anthro and non-anthro animals in a world together, you can't really escape making some kind of a connection between them I think.

So even though they are diffrent than each other just like humans and animals, they do have an empathetic connection between them. The closes to it would be like monkeys and humans I think.

Most people are creeped out by monkeys for they look like us (their limbs and faces) but we also find their young to look too much like human babies so some feel protective over them like a parent. (This could also apply to humans with cats and dogs too I think).

(Also just to be clear, there will never be romantic and/or sexual relationship between animals and animal-folk in my story and I will never portray it as such. I am harshly against zoophilia. Animal-folks are basicly humans with some animal features.)

I might make up a side story about a mother who has lost her child so in order to cope she tries to act like a parent to her pet.

Going back to Lambert, since we made the connection between animal-folk and regular animals, I want to explore how some kids and adults alike would call young Lambert and their siblings with names like "sacrificial lamb, piece of meat, bottom of the food chain, lamb chops etc." to rile them up or just hang the threat of being eaten over their heads. This kind of treatment could also happen to other prey animal-folks.

The animal-folks in my story are more like humans than animals so they wouldn't have strong prey-predator instincts but just like how humans can be cruel to others who aren't like them, I can see similar things happening in this world as well depending on which animal-folk group is dominating an area.

So in conclusion, even though it's not too severe, Lambert does have the fear of being eaten and has the habit of being violent against people who makes those kinds of threats against them as an adult.

(Btw Lambert can and does eat meat, their childhood fear does not conquer them)

the hundred line - last defense academy is by far one of the most ambitious visual novels i've ever played. i was spoiled to some of the turns the story makes, but that didn't hinder the sheer sense of awe at seeing how audaciously those turns were taken. the game feels like a roller coaster, if half the people in your car were insane freaks, you realize you'd die for them anyways halfway through the ride. then you make it to the end only to see a drop off into a secret underground coaster that dips into the earth's mantle.

needless to say, if you enjoyed the danganronpa or zero escape series, i would highly recommend checking this out, there's a demo that gives a decent idea of what the gameplay is like.

i've only completed route 0, so the story so far is completely linear. the only choices you can make in the game are how to spend your Free Time and the ones you make on the battlefield. even with that, the mysteries and questions that plague the series kept me insanely invested. there was nothing for me to "figure out" since it'd be told to me eventually, but the way they'd twist and turn, leaving red herrings and opening new lines of inquiry, only to get interrupted by a defensive battle left me theorizing anyways.

speaking of, the defensive battles are fantastic. i'm not typically a tactical RPG enjoyer, i burnt out on FE: three houses near the end of one route, i THINK i beat one route of FE: fates? i'm a persona enjoyer but never picked up tactica, etc. the way the AP system works and the chains you can make, the management you have to do to make sure you can keep fighting or pump enough damage into whatever boss to end it is REALLY engaging. they also keep it fresh by changing the win conditions of different battles. some are offensive, some are neutral, most are defensive. it's really satisfying. i think kyoshika and tsubasa got the most use from me?

AND SPEAKING OF WHICH, THE CHARACTERS ARE GREAT THEY'RE SUCH FREAKS.

i don't want to go into too much detail, but the way kodaka can write characters that are just truly genuinely horrible people that somehow someway endear themselves to you is generational. shout out to ima i'm amazed you started respecting women??? he's a mantle dipping moment for sure. characters that are completely defined as being jokes (darumi, shouma) manage to worm some truly heartfelt moments into the story, yet never leaving their posts as The Woker and Pagliacci.

and MAN the threads they've left unspun here. getting truly into spoiler territory, but going back through as takumi KNOWING eito really is komaeda 2? they went to the lab and dumped ace zero escape, nagito komaeda, and saito sejima into a vat and got the most toxic yaoi monsterfucker insane person you could imagine. will takumi still be able to understand the invaders' language when he rolls back the clock? will he be able to learn whatever "truth" eito was dangling in front of our faces at the end there? will we get to hang out with moko? what the FUCK happened on the artificial satellite? WHY IS NOZOMI KARUA???

it's all fantastic and insane. the game has enough content in route 0 to justify a $20-40 price tag. the fact that there's 100 other endings out there makes this game an insane bang for your buck. i'm currently staring into the abyss and it's saying "UUUUP AND AT 'EM TROOPS! TIME TO RISE AND SHINE!"

im gunna yap about my homestuck oc/persona because i said so

OK so i say oc/persona because its.. kinda me but kinda not. it has the same name as me, Cassie, and acts similar to me. I also based her class, aspect, and blood color based on online quiz results ive gotten for myself. However, she isnt ENTIRELY a persona. For example, shes fast as fuck, and i am NOT. She has a typing quirk, i dont [RPing doesnt count]. Shes very evil [in a silly way, shed never hurt anyone seriously] and im just a silly little guy. Shes a chick, and im. im a little bit of everything all of the time. And a bunch of other stuff. But i GUESS i can just start calling it my persona? But i also kinda dont want to because she has a slightly different personality than me.

Ok, now thats... kinda out of the way, on to the fun parts! Shes a mage of light, and has candy blood red [whatever u call karkats blood color. is it just mutant? idk], and is a derse dreamer

she will sound unconfident, but in reality its just because shes not very smart. Like all the "uhh"s and "umm"s. as said before, shes fast. thats really her most useful skill. shes not very strong though. she makes up for not being strong by being good with swords. her intentions are just to spread evilness and silliness. hey lusus is a bird [based on what my mom said shed be if she was an animal], so she likes to collect shiney things and random trinkets. she likes all creatures with wings, especially moths and birds. also, her favorite faygo flavor is cotton candy.

typing quirks. this one isnt offical yet, only because itll probably be updated over time slowly. what i have so far though is this: she will [like me], sometimes use grammar, sometimes not. she switches her S's for 5's because 5 is my lucky number irl. she doubles her K's because of her having the same blood color as Karkat, and KK is a nickname for him. double E's becomes 33's, like Nepeta, because shes my patron troll irl. when typing faces like ":)" she'll use "::" because in irl i have glasses, and people say that people with glasses have "four eyes", so an example of this would be "::3". she doubles her W's, like eridan, because my moirail has the same blood color of eridan, AND because will wood is often just called "ww" [i actually didnt come up with this one thanks @be4uty1s3mpty for the idea ur a real gangster,,,]. shes either really energetic dispite her lack of sleep, and it shows in the way she talks/types. she'll draw out words [like "dudeeeeeee"], thats not really a quirk, just a little thing she does. shes also very nonserious and avoids serious/sad topics like the plague. her chumhandle is evilMaker [EM], and types in the same color kankri does, #ff0000, or just #f00, im pretty sure its the same, or at least close.

Vi was a total pushover this season. All for a damn ship. I love how people are making lesphobic jokes on the lesbian dv stats because they saw that Caitlyn hit Vi with her rifle left her and wasnt shown to be thinking about her through the months. Save Vi from those writers!!!

Man I agree that Vi was definitely wayyy more of a pushover but it seemed like a coping strategy to the feeling of abandonment for her bcs Caitlyn was ROUGHHHH in act 2

The thing is with Caitlyn that people forget is she’s an incredibly accurate portrayal of a very rich person with initially good intent but never actually knew how to not end up a puppet in the military machine, a military machine that has ambessa lmao

I would say save Vi from those writers if they were intended to be a healthy cute relationship but they’re not and I wish instead of people making terrible dv jokes and dumbing down their characters, they would actually see them as actually fucked up people who have a questionable relationship. I do agree with you though that the writers could have handled Vi’s development especially in relation to Caitlyn much better I was REALLY hoping for an actual apology/more acknowledgment from Caitlyn

i'm so good at photography

it was 2010 when all i had was a dream to own my very first dslr, i made some money from graphic design commissions and bought one, it was a nikon d3100... weeks before i got it i was watching youtube videos on iso, shutter speed & aperture so that i'd be able to shoot manual mode when i got it... you would have thought i was shooting for years the way i was getting all my exposures and compositions right... i got a job at beaches (sandals) as a resort photographer where i did photoshoots in the evenings and roved the beaches and waterparks by day taking pictures of kids... all those images i took, hundreds of thousands that helped to hone my skills, there aren't many shooters like me with the experience that i have... when 2012 came around i left sandals and started working on cruise ships, during the training in miami i said that i wanted to document my travels on film so i made an eBay account and bought a yashica, that's how i started shooting on 35mm... during my contract i didn't really like the yashica because i thought i wasn't getting any good shot or if they were in focus because it was a rangefinder so i bought my first slr, a canon ae1 program... this is when i started to shoot like it was my last day on earth, loved that camera so much.. i had it with me in europe, Australia, south america, alaska and hawaii.. all that time i was still shooting digital on the side so i got a nikon 610 which was my first full frame digital camera and a 85mm to go with it, that was such a nice combo... i left cruise ships in 2015, there was no way to develop my film rolls in jamaica so i decided to start developing from home.. after about 2 years i decided i would just shoot exclusively on film and that has helped me to develop my skills so much... i learned stuff like sunny 16 & the zone system, now i hardly use light meters in the day or even in the night.. i've come such a far way and i am so grateful for that you don't even know, all i do is shoot everyday even if it's one photo or a selfie, i just hope that all this time spent on my craft isn't wasted and i will start selling prints for thousands of dollars and get to go on assignments around the world...
