In pettier union drama, a member of my women's committee just told me that she was talking to a female apprentice who told her she wasn't interested in the committee because "Jane (another member of the committee) told me you guys just play scrabble at your meetings."

Needless to say we do not and have never played board games at our meetings. We plan community outreach, education and volunteer opportunities for the union. But Jane seems to absolutely hate the committee and everyone in it and has repeatedly spread rumors about the group and its members. Because you know, the one thing you want when you're trying to run a women's committee is someone running around telling everyone that you're just a bunch of silly girls playing pretend on the union's dime!

I've gone past annoyance, through anger and have landed firmly in horrified fascination. Why does she continue to participate in the committee when she so obviously hates it? What does the inside of her mind look like? Why is she like this

Okay not that there aren’t any, and I know the comics probably have some, but I’m weird about not reading the comics (not to mention I’m bad at consuming more of the series as a whole at this rate), and there aren’t many that have really taken a hold on me so far

Best I have is Cyberverse Windblade/Slipstream, but Slipstream dies like mid Season 2 and they don’t have enough moments together for me to fully latch on to them

So this week we got the mentors relaxing around their interns and blurring the lines as well as some nice juxtaposition between Jane/Ryan and Judy/Ba-Mhee(/Tae).

Next week it looks like shit's going to hit the fan quite spectacularly and re-draw the lines we saw dissolving today.

i do like this arc they're giving Cheetor that reflects him growing up

in my mind, he's the equivalent to 16 when the series starts, and even though they refer to his transmetal II form as "puberty" i like to think of it more as him turning 18 and entering adulthood

I wish they did more with Transformers Animated. I wanna see more Blackarachnia and Optimus interactions. Or maybe see Prowl be brought back bc I am still In Mourning over his death and it's been almost two decades.

Ok I love beast wars as much as the next person but like... can't we talk about how some episodes were just super weird???

Like the one where cheetor gets kidnapped by tarantulas as is caught in his weird cannibal web. Or when cheetor goes through a kind of puberty??? What's up with that? How old even was he when the show started and what's he doing on the avalon in the first place?

Not to mention just the whole thing with Blackarachnia. (It just really doesn't sit well with me that animators went to a strip club to get inspiration for her design)

Like- okay I'm not trying to be the type to be Media illiterate here but I can't deny that some episodes of the show really didn't sit right with me and some stuff is just kinda weird you know?
