I know many people with weird and wonderful lifestyles from circus folk to influencers, but honestly the friend I am most jealous of:
lives in the middle of nowhere Vermont in an early 1800s farmhouse he restored himself
divides his time between farming cows, sheep, and pigs and handcrafting historic reproduction fabrics for museums
has an impressive collection of spinning wheels and looms
makes his own butter and cheese
is married to the mailman like the main character in some kind of hallmark movie

[13.2k] the chalet was your home away from home in the festive season. but this year it may become the place you fall in love with the last person you expected. ft my very limited knowledge on how skiing works. (very lazy smut included)
.
Your family had always gone to The Chalet with the Montgomery’s for as long as you could remember.
One spontaneous ski trip decades ago led your parents to start a tradition that would last through the generations. Every year, both families would fly out to the mountains of France to enjoy the festive season in the homely ski resort called The Chalet. Owned and ran by an elderly couple, it was the kind of place you would see in hallmark movies, or maybe even in a snowglobe. It was a place beyond your greatest winter wonderland dreams and imagination. The Chalet didn’t feel like a real place, and that was why the getaway every Christmas made the holiday so magical.
It was your home away from home, a safe haven. It was the one place in the world where you could disappear from reality and embrace the isolation from society.
At least, that was what the three weeks in the ski resort usually felt like.
And after a year of moving away from home, starting a new job at the bottom of the food chain and dealing with more social circle drama than you ever intended to deal with, you craved nothing more than the simplicity and enjoyment The Chalet had to offer. You needed the break away from your life, a break away from the life you weren’t totally sure you had under control.
You just wanted your home away from home, and instead when the families arrived at the resort, you were met with crowds of strangers swarming the place like a colony of buzzing, irritating bees.
“What the hell?” You muttered once you had stepped out of the car, looking at the throng of people lingering outside the main entrance to the resort.
“Apparently the place is booked out,” your mother noted from somewhere behind you as they began to unpack the bags from the boot of the car. “Madame Blanchet reserved our usual rooms when she started getting more and more bookings.”
“Since when was this place overbooked?” You commented, a little blunter than intended. But it was hard to mask your surprise. A part of The Chalet’s charm was that it was a small, unknown ski resort hidden amongst the many that were established in the French Mountains. For as long as you could remember—hell, even before that—there hadn’t been more than ten or so families staying at the resort over the Christmas period.
“Maybe Madame Blanchet finally learnt how to make a website,” a voice remarked from beside you, sounding quite amused by the mass of people, which shouldn’t have really surprised you.
And just like you expected, you turned your head to find Harper Montgomery grinning widely at the crazy crowd like she was expecting it. She stood beside you with her hands on her hips, something about the bright ski suit looking so out of place, not that she acted as much. Every year, you swore The Chalet wasn’t ready for her and every year you were proven correct.
“Considering the woman still has a dial phone, I am going to doubt the sudden online advertisement,” you snorted, shaking your head.
“Maybe this will be the Christmas we make new friends,” Harper noted, her head tilted to the side and her dark eyes scanning the crowd. “I am pretty sick of Mrs Hartford beating me at scrabble.”
Your lips twitched upwards. “Maybe you should stop challenging her then.”
Harper’s eyes narrowed. “Never.”
“I still don’t get why so many people are waiting outside,” you grumbled as your eyes fell back to the crowd, noticing the way they were buzzing with some sort of excitement. “I don’t even think the lodge has enough rooms for this many people.”
Harper hummed. “Maybe—”
“OH MY GOD!”
Your eyes widened in alarm as you turned your head, seeing Evan standing a few feet away from you and Harper. The older Montgomery was gripping his phone, eyes full of adoration and awe as he grinned at his screen like a madman. He let out a high-pitched squeak, catching the attention of both families as they looked at him with varying looks of concern.
The blond finally lifted his head, oblivious to the worried looks as his grin seemingly widened. He thrusted a phone towards you and Harper, almost buzzing in his spot. “He’s here!”
Your brows furrowed together. “What?”
“He’s here!” Evan repeated, just as enthusiastic as the first time. “He is in our ski lodge! He’s here!”
You still looked equally confused. “Who?”
“His little man-crush,” Harper noted as she glanced down at his screen.
“Charles Leclerc!” Evan sighed, almost dreamily as he hugged his phone to his chest. “We are spending Christmas with Charles Leclerc!”
You rolled your eyes and shook your head, pushing past the boy to grab your suitcase so you could finally go check in. “For fuck’s sake, not your little driving guy.”
“Hey,” Evan frowned. “He’s more than that.”
“I have to listen to you talk about him for nine months of the year,” you remarked, though even that felt like an understatement. “Christmas is meant to be my free time from your little obsession. We made a deal.”
Evan blanched. “That was before I knew he was here!”
“And now he’s ruining Christmas,” you grumbled bitterly, letting out a wince when you felt a pinch to your side.
“Don’t be such a grinch,” Harper teased. “Let him be a fanboy and spend his days on the slopes hunting the guy down. Don’t let it ruin your holiday.”
You snorted. “That will be hard when he is talking our ears off about Charles’ pretty green eyes or the way his hair looks after a race.”
“It’s fluffy!” Evan defended. “It’s unreal after a two hour race in a helmet!”
“Whatever,” you muttered as you patted the boy on the chest as you moved past him. “You have him all to yourself, you won’t see me complaining about it.”
Evan puffed his chest out. “You just can’t appreciate greatness.”
“Blah, blah, blah,” you waved him off. “I’m here to ski and relax. As long as this Charles guy keeps you and his little fanbase far away from me, I don’t care what he does.” There was a pause and Harper gave you a questioning look when she saw the glint in your eyes. “Even if he is overrated.”
Evan’s jaw dropped. “You did not just—”
“Last one in is a rotten egg!” You called out behind you as you grabbed Harper’s hand, dragging her towards the main entrance with you and letting your laughs echo through the reception as the boy swore up and down behind you.
You could have said that your resentment towards the Ferrari driver was purely based on how much Evan spoke about him during the racing season, but that would be a lie.
It had started off that way when the boy finally made it into Formula One. Evan had been a motorsport fanatic from a young age, always eager to ramble away to you and Harper on various championships and seasons neither of you particularly cared about. As you got older, you learned to become more accepting and tolerant of the fact your Sundays would always be hijacked by whatever grand prix was occurring that weekend.
However, when a young hot shot joined the sport that Evan had been following through the lower leagues, you didn’t realise just how quickly that tolerance would disappear until he was yapping your ear off after every single race.
And truthfully? You didn’t get it. You didn’t get the sport in general, you didn’t understand what made a driver good or bad, and you didn’t understand the world’s obsession with Charles Leclerc as the years passed. To you, he just seemed like a pretty boy who enjoyed the spotlight of being the face of the sport. To you, he seemed like nothing more than a show pony.
And no amount of debates and rants from Evan would change that.
You wouldn’t have gone out of your way to say you hate Charles Leclerc, but you would say you were coming pretty damn close since you arrived at The Chalet.
The Chalet was bustling from the moment you opened your eyes to the moment you fell asleep. Wherever you went, it felt like you were pushing through a crowd to get from point A to point B. And the amount of times you had fans gripping your arm as you walked past, asking you if you had seen the Monegasque driver was starting to make you want to rip your own hair out.
Yet, despite the buzz around the driver being in the lodge and the amount of fans circling the place through various hours of the day, you had yet to see the boy himself and that was something you were perfectly content with.
You had managed two blissful days before you crossed paths with Charles Leclerc.
You had been taking too long to get ready so you assured Harper and Evan you would meet them at the slopes, insisting there was no need for them to wait for you. Both Montgomery’s—stubborn as ever—scoffed and told you they would be waiting for you in the lobby instead.
You had been in a rushed state when you made your way towards the equipment valet, eager to just quickly hand your locker number over and collect your equipment. However, your path seemed to be blocked by a man standing in front of you, nose buried in his phone as he muttered in a language you didn’t quite understand.
“Excuse me, do you mind if I just—”
“Fucking hell,” the man swore, causing you to pause and frown at his back.
You were taken aback, not expecting that response or the scoff that left his lips afterwards. And when he turned around, you were even more shocked when you realised you knew exactly who the rude man was—none other than Charles Leclerc.
“Look, I appreciate that you are a devoted fan and I am grateful for the support, but I really don’t have time for pictures right now,” Charles continued and, to his credit, did look a little empathetic. Though, that didn’t take away from the underlying hostility in his words. “I am just here to enjoy my break. Please let me do so in peace.”
You blinked, absolutely flabbergasted by his assumption. “Huh?”
The smile he gave you was almost condescending. “As a fan, I am sure you’d understand that I’d want a few days just free from the media and—”
And it seemed like only then did your brain catch up with the situation.
“Don’t flatter yourself, sweetheart, I am not a fan,” you stated as bluntly as you could, watching the boy’s face morph into something quite like confusion. As though he genuinely couldn’t compute the fact somebody wasn’t a fan of him.
“What?”
“I was just trying to get my skis and you were standing in my way like a douche,” you said simply, watching as his brows furrowed closer together. “Which I would have felt bad for calling you before I realised who you were.”
“Who I was,” Charles repeated, still baffled as you pushed past him to do just as you said.
“Hot shot who thinks everybody who breathes near him cares about who he is,” you supplied, a sickly sweet smile on your face as you now stood before him with your skis in hand. “Have a great day, Charles Leclerc.”
And the boy didn’t get a chance to say anything as you walked away, your mood positively ruined by the time you reached Evan and Harper in the lobby. They took one look at your sour mood and raised their brows in question, but you simply grumbled and waved them off, in no mood to repeat your interaction to Charles’ biggest sympathiser.
Fortunately for the Montgomery siblings, your mood eased up by lunchtime and you were (mostly) over the whole interaction.
Or at least, you were over the interaction until dinner came around.
Dinner at The Chalet was like one massive family meal. With a large hall dedicated as the dining area, the Blanchet’s had set it up quite like a buffet system. There were tables of food bordering the room with tables dotted through the middle. Everyone sat on the round tables, in their little families and looking like a picture perfect scene for the final meal of the day.
So of course your final meal of the day had to be ruined by an arrogant Monegasque who grinned at you like you two were old friends.
“Ah, you! I’ve been looking for you.”
Truthfully, you wouldn’t have even realised he was talking to you if it weren’t for the fact the boy had stopped right beside you, practically looming over your shoulder as you tried to help yourself to some macaroni cheese.
You raised your brows, giving the boy a once-over before returning your attention to your plate.
“Uh, hello,” Charles tried again, his brows furrowing together a little at the cold shoulder you gave him.
“Hi,” you stated simply, not wanting to spend any more moments with the Monegasque than you had to.
“I wanted to apologise for earlier,” Charles continued, seeing your response as an open invite to a conversation.
“Do you now?”
“Yeah,” Charles nodded, a smile making its way onto his face as your sarcastic tone went completely over his head. “Listen, I really didn’t mean to snap at you. It’s just—this is my holiday and I had no intention of my location being leaked. I just wanted a break from everything, you know? And I guess the frustrations of being bombarded for the last few days just got to me.”
And truthfully speaking, a part of you sympathised with the boy. Though his fame reached levels you would never understand, The Chalet was your haven away from everything. It was a place where reality never seemed to touch, a place to escape. You could understand better than anyone what it was like to crave that feeling in your life.
But just as you opened your mouth to say as much, Charles seemed to remind you exactly why you disliked him in the first place.
“And I just wanted to clear things up with you before the media found out and—”
“So, you’re only apologising because you don’t want me running to journalists and ruining your image?” You interrupted, catching the boy off-guard as he gaped at you for a few seconds.
“Well, yes, it wouldn’t look good if I was harassing fans,” Charles said.
“But I’m not a fan,” you corrected him, gripping your plate in your hands. “And I certainly don’t care about shattering someone’s image for fifteen seconds of fame, no matter how much of a douche they are.”
Charles frowned. “I—”
“You can take your apology and shove it up your ass, Charles,” you said, that sickly sweet smile on your face once again as you turned around to find whichever table your family were sitting at. But a hand reached out to softly grip your elbow and you turned to find Charles looking at you with a helpless expression.
“I am sorry,” Charles said to you, something in his voice that you didn’t really understand. “But I also care about my image. Surely you can understand that.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night,” you retorted as you tried to tug yourself free from his hold.
Charles opened his mouth to reply, but a louder voice caught the attention of both of you.
“STORMY! OVER HERE!”
You felt your face heat up as you glanced over your shoulder, finding Evan sat amongst your family and his own as he waved you down. He had a shit-eating grin on his face (most likely from the fact he used the one nickname that he knew pissed you off more than anything else in front of everyone) and looked like he was about to do more when his gaze shifted to the man beside you. His jaw dropped, a comical expression on his face as he looked between you and Charles Leclerc.
“Stormy?” Charles repeated, looking over at you.
You ignored his questioning gaze, instead narrowing your eyes at the hand still gripping your elbow. “Can you let me go now or is there more to your shitty apology?”
Charles opened his mouth once again, yet another person interrupted him before he got a chance.
“Charles? What’s taking you so long?”
Your eyes wandered to the girl who saddled up beside him, her expression light until she turned to look at you. Her gaze was calculated, her blue eyes seeming to size you up and something about the all white attire made you wonder if she was really playing into the Ice Queen vibes.
“Another fan?” She sighed, as though your presence was the biggest inconvenience to her. “Honey, he can take pictures with you after dinner—”
“That’s fine, we’re done here,” you quickly corrected, ignoring the patronising tone in her voice or the way that Charles still looked like he had more to say. “I won’t be bothering either of you anytime soon.”
You turned on your heels before either one of them had a chance to drag out the interaction any longer than it needed it to be. You weaved through the tables before making your way towards the table your family had chosen, settling yourself in the free seat beside Evan.
“That was Charles Leclerc!”
You hummed, grabbing your fork as you began to dig in. “Unfortunately so.”
“Dude, what the hell!” Evan hissed, pinching your side until you let out a small squeak and turned to him. “Why didn’t you tell me you knew him?”
You frowned. “I don’t.”
“You were talking to him for ages!” Evan countered.
“He was just being a dick,” you said with a shrug of your shoulders. “Plus, that was probably the last time I’ll ever talk to him.”
Harper snorted. “And you didn’t even get him an autograph.”
“Not that I would ask,” you prefaced before shaking your head. “But I doubt he would have given me one anyways. We…got off on the wrong foot.”
“It’s Charles Leclerc,” Evan scoffed. “There is no wrong foot.”
“Keep it in your pants, dickhead,” you teased, lightly pinching his side back in retaliation. “Even if I did get you an autograph, I would have shredded it after the Stormy stunt you just pulled.”
“But that’s your name,” Evan grinned.
“No, it’s what you called me for seven years because you couldn’t remember my name,” you retorted.
“No, he remembered,” Harper piped in, a grin on her face that scarily matched her brother’s. “But with a temper like yours, Stormy just fits so much better.”
You rolled your eyes. “Whatever. You both suck and so does Charles Leclerc.”
“At least wait until dessert before you start insulting Evan’s boyfriend in front of him.”
“He’s not my boyfriend!”
You had expected that was the last time your path would ever cross with Charles Leclerc and, for the most part, it was.
A few days passed and other than some awkward shared glances in the dining hall, you hadn’t found yourself caught in a conversation with the Ferrari driver after his attempted apology and you were intending to keep it that way until the end of your trip. You were happy to continue on with your holiday, even if you swore you could feel a pair of eyes watching you sometimes.
However, it seemed like the universe was on a mission to get your hopes up before crumbling them back down again—and this time, it was in the form of another involuntary meeting with the Monegasque.
You hadn’t even noticed the boy standing a few feet away from you with a group of his friends. You were stood next to Harper, listening to her ramble away as you waited in line for the ski lift to take you to the top of the mountain. It was fairly early, most of the resort residents still enjoying their breakfast inside which meant the queue wasn’t very long. You had been eager to get out on the snow early after being one of the last in the passing days.
However, whilst you failed to notice the driver, it seemed like Harper had.
She watched the boy continuously glance over at you, like he was eager to catch your eye. She watched as he slowly shuffled closer, like he was trying to gain the confidence to jump into the conversation. She watched Charles Leclerc act like a hopeless fool, and it was somewhat endearing to witness.
And maybe—just maybe—she was in the mood for some drama that the vacation in the ski resort very rarely gave her.
You were already settled in your spot when you felt someone shuffling in the seat next to you. You felt the comfort bar come down and you turned with a smile, ready to continue your conversation with your best friend when you realised your best friend was not the person sitting next to you.
No, it was Charles Leclerc.
Your head whirled around, finding Harper standing in the queue with a grin on her face. You shot her a look, one that spoke more than a thousand words on just how you felt about her betrayal. However, the girl just laughed and waved you off as the lift began moving and it was far too late to get off.
Your attention shifted to the boy beside you again, noticing the sheepish expression on his face and you let out a sigh.
It was fine. Totally fine. The ski lift took around ten minutes to get to the top of the mountain. That was hardly anything, practically a blink of an eye if you were being honest. It would be a quick ride up, you wouldn’t even have to talk to him and you could easily ignore him by the time you made your way back down the mountain. It was all going to be so, so fine.
“So, uh, how are you this morning?”
And suddenly, even a second felt like ten years passing.
You kept your head facing forward, hoping the boy would catch the hint that you weren’t interested in small talk and would also remain silent. Though, considering the fact he was fidgeting in his seat, you doubted the boy could keep quiet for longer than thirty seconds.
“The weather is great, right?”
Your brows furrowed together. The weather? Really?
“The pancakes were also really good at breakfast this morning. Did you have any?” He continued, only pausing for a moment when he realised you were making a point of not answering him. “Stormy?”
One simple word and that was enough for you to break your silence.
“Don’t call me that,” you snapped, a little harsher than you truly intended but the sentiment remained.
Charles blinked. “You don’t want me to call you your name?”
“It’s not my name,” you replied.
He blinked again. “But in the dining hall—”
“It’s a nickname—one that Evan likes to wind me up with because he thinks I’m moody,” you explained before realising the boy didn’t really deserve an explanation. Not when you were adamant to keep this conversation short. “Not that it’s any of your business.”
“Well, I can see where he gets it from,” Charles said with a small snort.
You frowned. “Excuse me?”
Seeming to realise what he said and just how it sounded out loud, it was almost comical to watch Charles’ lips part before he awkwardly gaped at his previous comment. “Not like that! I just meant—”
“Whatever,” you muttered as you turned to face forwards again, pleading for the lift to somehow reach the top of the mountain already.
“Look, I’m sorry. This wasn’t how I intended this to go,” Charles admitted, almost sounding a bit pained when he said it, as though he wasn’t used to admitting he was wrong. “I wanted to properly apologise. I shouldn’t have been so rude to you, and I definitely shouldn’t have brushed it off as anything except how you felt.”
You paused, brows furrowing together as you turned to face him with a curious expression.
Charles blinked. “What?”
“I was just waiting to see if there was a ‘but’ coming,” you confessed.
“No buts,” he assured, pausing for a moment before his cheeks burned pink. “I just wanted to say I’m sorry. That’s it.”
You let out a sigh, wishing that some part of you was suspicious about his apology but you weren’t. He sounded genuine, and as much as you wanted to—and still partially did—believe he was a bit of a pompous prick, you couldn’t fault that his apology seemed sincere.
“I accept your apology,” you said, your voice a little strained before you continued. “And I’m also sorry for being a bit of a bitch.”
Charles’ lips parted. “Oh no, you weren’t—”
“I was a little,” you said, your lips twitching upwards as the boy gave you a nervous smile. “I can assure you I won’t be telling any gossip pages about what an asshole Charles Leclerc is.”
He actually laughed in response, despite the fact that alone would probably make his PR team bury him six feet under before the next season started. “I appreciate that, Stormy.”
You glowered at the nickname, but it only seemed to make the Monegasque laugh harder.
Despite the exchange of apologies on the ski lift, you expected that to be your last proper interaction with Charles.
You were also quickly realising that every time—so far—you had assumed as much, you would find yourself face to face with the driver once again. And this time was no different, except it came much earlier than a few days. It happened later that very same day.
You had made your way into the dining hall, grabbing a plate and beginning to survey the large buffet when you felt the warmth of another person standing beside you. You felt a hand brush your arm and turned to find Charles smiling at you.
“Bonjour, mon ami.”
You blinked. “What?”
His smile widened. “It means—”
“No, I know what it means,” you quickly corrected, shaking your head a little. “I just…didn’t realise we were friends.”
Charles’ brows furrowed together. “Why wouldn’t we be? I thought we had made up on the ski lift.”
“Yes but, other than that, we are strangers,” you said to him like it was obvious—and to you, it was. Beyond a few misunderstandings and awkward apologies, the man in front of you was as much a friend to you as any of the other guests in the lodge.
“Well, we can change that now!” He said, and that smile returned to his face. “Turn over a new book or whatever the saying is.”
Much to your own surprise, you found yourself laughing a little at his response. “Charles, I—”
“STORMY, HURRY UP OR I AM DRINKING YOUR WINE!”
Both your and Charles’ head snapped over to Evan who was holding a wine glass in each hand, a large smile plastered on his face and a twinkle in his eyes that promised mischief. His hair was still wet from the shower he took before dinner, meaning it was slick back and giving him an almost wannabe Bond villain look.
You laughed, shaking your head as you turned back to look at the driver. Only you found Charles still looking in Evan’s direction, something contemplative and almost begrudging in his gaze.
“You okay?”
Charles turned to face you, and it took a mere second for the glare to disappear and be replaced with his bright smile once again. “Yeah, of course. It seems like you’re wanted elsewhere though.”
“He’s a menace,” you said, playfully rolling your eyes but the fondness was clear in your voice. “I love him even if he’s a pain in the ass.”
Charles only let out a contemplative hum as a goodbye as you headed towards the table where your family and the Montgomery’s were sitting. And maybe if you looked over at him as much as he did with you over the course of the dinner, you would have seen Charles looking a little too bitter every time your eyes were on Evan instead of him.
A week had passed in the resort and the Christmas spirit was starting to truly spread as the festive holiday quickly approached.
Your parents and the Montgomery parents had decided to pass on the slopes, instead choosing to visit infamous glacier caves that had been advertised and talked about by some locals in the lodge. You, Harper and Evan had declined the offer to join them, though the excitement of no parents being around—despite the fact all three of you were firmly in your twenties—seemed to spark a shift in energy in Evan that could only be described as childlike.
“I have a proposition.”
Harper already let out a groan, tilting her head back as she did. You couldn’t see her eyes beneath her goggles, but you imagined she was rolling them. “God, no.”
Evan frowned. “You haven’t even heard it yet.”
“Your ideas are shit,” Harper said to her brother. “And usually dangerous.”
“No, they aren’t,” Evan scoffed.
You shrugged. “You don’t have a great track record, if we are being honest.”
“Whatever,” Evan grumbled before grinning at the two of you. “First two to reach the bottom wins. Sabotaging each other’s run is allowed. Loser has to do the forfeit.”
Your eyes narrowed. “What’s the forfeit?”
“Loser has to streak in the snow,” he grinned.
“I am not streaking in the snow,” Harper scoffed.
“Then, you better hope you win,” the older Montgomery countered with a grin.
And begrudgingly, you and Harper agreed to his childish idea.
It wasn’t the first time a silly competition between the three of you got out of hand, and you truly doubted it would be the last. With no rules set and no parents to even try to intervene, it didn’t take very long before the competition got dirty and the run down the slopes became more chaotic.
You had been running behind Harper, secure in second place and watching her movements closely to look for any weakness that you could exploit. However, you had failed to realise that Evan—who had been running behind after he almost skied into a group of people—was quickly catching up on you.
You didn't realise until it was too late.
You let out a noise of surprise when you found the boy right by your side, one that quickly became a series of curses when you realised what he was doing. You tried to move away when you noticed him turning into you, but you were too slow and it only put you in a worse position when his pole lodged itself between your skis.
He was long gone by the time you tumbled into the snow, cackling loudly as he went. You let out a groan of frustration as you turned until you were lying on your back. You winced a little as you tried to awkwardly scramble up onto your feet in hopes of catching up with the Montgomery siblings, but the second a bit of pressure was placed on your ankle, you were crying out in pain and your ass hit the snow once again.
“Shit,” you whispered to yourself as you sat in the snow, tears welling in your lash line at the shot of pain up your leg.
“Cherie!”
You lifted your head when you noticed someone skidding to a stop beside you. You blinked at them in a moment of confusion, but the second they removed their goggles and pulled down their mask, you found Charles—or at least, a very worried and concerned version of him—looking down at you.
He took you in, noticing the glossy sheen to your eyes before he turned back to look over his shoulder, letting out a string of curse words that you were certain were not in English before his attention returned to you.
“Are you okay? What hurts? Is something broken? Should I call for them to send a helicopter—”
“Charles,” you quickly interrupted the rambling boy. “I’m fine. I’ve probably just sprained my ankle.”
“Yeah, because of him,” Charles grumbled, mostly under his breath like he had no real intention for you to hear the snide remark.
“It was a joke,” you waved him off, but that only seemed to upset the boy further.
“A joke?” He repeated, his eyes widening in disbelief. “You’re hurt. It’s hardly a funny joke.”
“Charles, calm down.”
The boy just scoffed, shaking his head before he lodged his poles into the snow, keeping them off the main trail before he turned to you and offered his hand.
You looked at him expectantly.
“Let me help you get down to the lodge,” he said in as calm a voice as he could manage.
“Charles—” You began, but he wasn’t having it.
“No, cherie, I am not going to leave you here when you’re injured and alone, he said, emphasising the last word in particular as he glanced around, almost like he had to remind you that Harper and Evan were most likely at the bottom of the slope by now.
“Fine,” you said with a sigh, taking his gloved hand in yours as you allowed him to pull you up, keeping your weight on him with ease. “This doesn’t mean we are friends though, Charles.”
He only grinned at you, the first time he seemed a little more like himself since he stopped to check on you.
“Whatever you want to say, Stormy.”
As expected, you had sprained your ankle and were advised to take it easy for the next few days.
And you were banned from hitting the slopes in fear of making the sprain worse.
You wanted to be annoyed about the situation—and a small part of you was—but honestly, a few days in the lodge with some peace and quiet seemed like a dream. As much as you loved your family and the Montgomery’s, you needed a break from how loud and giddy and excited they were.
And as the days quickly approached Christmas, it felt like a nice relief to have some time to yourself before the festivities truly took over.
You had waved them off after breakfast with a smile, teasing them not to miss you too much as they headed towards the slopes. Evan had offered to stay inside with you, even just for today, because of the guilt that he was the one to put you in the position. But you just rolled your eyes, assuring him you were more than happy to sit by the fireplace by the foyer and enjoy a day where you didn’t have to fall flat on your ass in the snow.
You had been a few chapters into your book, curled up on the couch with your ankle elevated on a pillow with a blanket thrown over you when Charles and his friends made their way downstairs, prepped and ready with the intentions of heading out to the slopes.
But the boy spotted you and found his feet moving in a different direction.
“Stormy!”
You lifted your head, unable to even find it in yourself to be annoyed by his constant use of the nickname when he had a pretty smile on his face whenever he said it. He was bundled up in layers, probably on his way to the equipment kiosk before he headed for the lift. He looked comical next to the fire.
“My knight in shining armour,” you greeted, a teasing tilt in your voice but the boy missed it as he took in your appearance. “You look warm.”
“You’re staying in today?”
You nodded. “Doc’s orders.”
“Alone?”
You nodded once again. “I told the others they could—”
“I’ll stay with you!”
He said it so quickly that it took you a few seconds before you realised just what he had said. You blinked, your brows furrowing in confusion. “You’re at a ski resort and you don’t want to go skiing?”
“I’ve been skiing every day since I got here,” he said with a casual shrug of his shoulders. “I can handle not skiing for a day.”
You flashed him a smile. “It’s fine, you don’t have to—”
“But I want to,” he countered, the words passing his lips with ease.
You hated the way your chest tightened a little at his words. “Oh.”
Charles smiled at your response.
“Charles, hurry up!”
You missed the way his brows furrowed together at the voice when you turned to look at the woman standing a few feet away, looking impatient and slightly annoyed. It was the same woman from the other week, the one that looked a little too much like the cold weather personified. You had learnt over the passing days her name was Melanie, but that was about as far as your knowledge on the woman went, other than her clear attitude.
Charles let out a sigh before he replied, a slightly more strained smile on his face. “Go on without me. I’m gonna stay in the lodge today.”
Melanie frowned. “Why?”
“Because I want to,” Charles stated simply, and the repeated words made your chest feel funny again.
Melanie glanced over at you and then Charles, and then back to you again. Her eyes were narrowed and her glare felt icy, but before she could even think of saying anything, a friend from the group was calling out to her and she had no choice but to join them.
Charles turned back to you, an easy smile on his lips once again. “So…what’s the plan?”
You snorted. “To sit here because I’m practically bedbound, unless I want to hobble somewhere.”
Charles pressed his lips together. “Well, sitting by the fire with no hot chocolate is sacrilege.”
Your nose scrunched up. “But I don’t have cookies. Hot chocolate by itself isn’t fun without homemade Christmas cookies.”
“Then we will make them,” Charles said.
You rolled your eyes. “And where are we making them? In our rooms with a kettle, tap water and no other ingredients?”
“Please,” Charles said with a scoff, a glint in his eyes as he looked down at you with a proud glint in his eyes. “I am Charles Leclerc. I have my ways.”
You weren’t sure what strings he pulled, who he bribed or just what he blackmailed the lodge owners with, but you were filled with a sort of unease when Charles returned twenty minutes later. He had changed out of his heavy ski gear into a pair of jeans and a sweater that looked insanely cosy. And he had told you that he needed you to close your eyes, to trust him enough to carry you to the destination with a promise that all the drama would be worth it.
He looked so damn proud when he brought you to the lodge’s kitchen with bowls and whisks and ingredients sprawled across the counter—it made that funny feeling in your chest return.
“How did you manage this?” You asked, an incredulous laugh leaving your lips when he sat you on the counter.
“I’m Charles Leclerc, I can get anything I want,” he said, and once upon a time, you would have rolled your eyes and thought he was a pompous dick. You still thought he was a little cocky, but it was an endearing trait now.
You raised your brows. “Do you, Charles Leclerc, know how to bake?”
“Nope,” he said honestly but he was still smiling. “But I am sure I can make something edible with you guiding me.”
“Smooth,” you snorted. “Don’t blame me if they taste like shit.”
As it would turn out, Charles had an overbearing need to be in control of everything. You guessed it came with the lifestyle, the fact his life is always in the palm of his own hands whenever he sat in a car that raced hundreds of miles an hour. However, it seemed like it also extended to the Monegasque ignoring your very clear and correct instructions to do something he insisted was the right way.
“In what fucking world do you need that much sugar?” You remarked, lips parted in shock as you watched the boy add more.
“They are sugar cookies, cherie, it’s in the name,” Charles retorted.
“That doesn’t mean the batter should be seventy-five percent sugar!” You huffed as you reached over to try and grab the bag of sugar from him. “You are going to make us both diabetic with one of those damn cookies. Don’t you have a diet you are meant to be following?”
Charles only grinned, a little mischievous. “Yeah but it’s Christmas.”
You shook your head. “You’re unbelievable.”
“And you’re bossy,” he countered.
“And I’m right,” you insisted as you frowned at the batter, wondering if it would be easier to just toss it out and start again. “It’s not my fault you don’t have the ego to handle it.”
“Or your ego can’t handle the challenge,” Charles said, something shining in his eyes like his words had a hidden meaning you couldn’t quite understand. “Tell me you don’t like it.”
You tilted your head a little. “You think you’re the only man to talk back to me, Leclerc?”
His tongue poked the inside of his cheek. “I would like to think I’m the best.”
You couldn’t ignore the way his eyes darkened, the way it seemed to surge some sort of competition inside him. You couldn’t help but want to play on his fragile male ego a little more.
“And if I said you weren’t?” You questioned, pressing your lips together in a poor attempt to hide your smirk.
Charles breathed out of his nose, his jaw clenching a little before he replied. “Then I would say Evan is a lucky man to have you.”
And just like that, your smirk dropped.
“What?”
Charles frowned a little. “I would say Evan is a lucky man,” he repeated, the words sounding a little forced as they left his lips. “You two seem like…a great match even if he does leave you abandoned on a ski slope after—”
“Oh my god, no!” You blanched, your shoulders hunching up to your ears as you shook your head. “Ew, no! Absolutely not!”
Charles blinked. “Huh?”
“Me and Evan—” You swallowed hard, unable to even get the words out. “It’s not like that between us. I have known him forever, he’s like a brother to me.”
“Oh,” Charles murmured, taking a few seconds before he grinned. “Oh!”
“Yeah, oh,” you grumbled.
Charles couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. “So, you aren’t—”
“Nope.”
“With Evan or anyone?”
“No one.”
“Good.”
You snorted, rolling your eyes at the giddiness written across his face. If someone told you it was Christmas morning, you would have believed them. “Subtle, Charles.”
“Subtle is my middle name.”
The next day, you met Charles by the foyer fireplace, but this time he was prepared with his own book.
The day after, he was there again but both your books were quickly abandoned as you chatted away.
The day after that, neither of you bothered to bring your books down.
Despite your insistence that he should be out on the slopes enjoying his vacation and the downtime he had in between seasons, Charles was adamant that he was doing exactly what he deemed relaxing. And just like he said earlier, Charles Leclerc gets what he wants—and it seemed he wanted to spend his days huddled in the lodge with you.
Everyone noticed the budding relationship between you and Charles, but nobody said a word. Well, your family and the Montgomery parents didn’t say a word. Harper and Evan on the other hand? They wouldn’t leave you alone.
Harper was cackling at the irony. She was throwing your words back in your face, teasing the way seemed to switch your opinion on the Monegasque driver in the span of a week and looked down right smitten for the boy. She teased you over the fact it took you almost two months before you went on a date with your ex-boyfriend, and here you were having daily fireplace dates with the boy you called an asshole less than a week ago. She was embracing her full right as your best friend to annoy the fuck out of you.
Evan was a whole other story. The boy looked like a kicked puppy every time you came back from hanging out with Charles, only to tell him you didn’t get him an autograph nor did you bring into the conversation how cool he was or how amazing he was or how he and Charles would totally get on if you introduced them. You didn’t have the heart to tell the boy that up until seventy-two hours ago, Charles didn’t like him through a bizarre assumption.
It had been constant and annoying, but in a way that made your heart feel full because you knew no matter what, at least those two would support every decision you made. Even if they got unbearable during the meal times where Charles would find any excuse to come talk to you.
Tonight was no different as he approached you with a smile spread across his face and something dangerous and promising shining in his eyes. You were sitting at the table alone whilst everyone else headed towards the tables to fill their plates—yours in Harper’s hand—and you were grateful for the small moment of peace as he leaned down.
“Missing me already?” You teased.
He shrugged, though he didn’t disagree. “I have a very important message for you.”
You raised your brows in question. “Oh?”
Instead of saying anything, the boy just grinned wider and handed you a small piece of paper. You frowned a little at it, looking up at him in confusion but the boy was already taking a few steps away from your table.
“Charles—”
But the boy just winked before turning on his heel, heading back to the table the rest of his friends were sitting at, where they were probably watching the whole interaction even if they tried to make it seem like they weren’t.
You glanced down at the note in your hand, lips turned downwards as you opened the folded paper. It baffled you that he couldn’t just say what he had written down, but another part of you warmed a little at the idea that he had taken the time to write the note and go through with it—regardless of it being a bit silly.
You couldn’t bite back your smile when you read the note.
meet me @ midnight. my room number is 161. wear something cosy :)
You snorted, shaking your head as every cell in your body thrummed in excitement to meet the boy you once hated later that night.
“The note was cute, but I still don’t understand why you couldn’t just ask me to hang out.”
“Because that’s not fun.”
“You just handed me the note, that’s hardly any different.”
“It was like a real life text, cherie. It’s how they used to do it back in the day.”
You snorted in response.
You had listened to his advice, deciding that a hoodie and pyjama bottoms were the way to go as you snuck up to the floor he was staying at. Your knuckles had barely grazed the door before it was yanked open, a grinning boy on the other side. He was dressed in a baggy hoodie and grey sweatpants, his hair pushed back with a bandana and a pair of glasses sat on his nose.
He didn’t even give you a chance to say anything before he was dragging you inside.
It should have been obvious that Charles Leclerc of all people would have a suite but truthfully, you hadn’t even realised the lodge had master suites as big as this one. But it did. And it was huge. And you expected nothing less for the Monegasque.
There were multiple different rooms that veered off the large living room: one that was furnished with a massive tv, soft plush sofas and a large fireplace that looked like it was straight out the front of a Christmas card. Surprisingly, it was decorated for the festive season with even a tree settled in the corner between the armchairs. It felt homely. It felt perfect for this midnight meeting.
However, you didn’t get much of a chance to look around before he was dragging you out onto the balcony. There was a loveseat set up with pillows and blankets, and a small table set with hot chocolate and a plate of cookies (ones he assured you he had the chef make fresh).
“I never took you to be so traditional,” you teased, pulling the blanket tighter around your shoulders as a light breeze hit you. “But I guess you have to make do since you haven’t even asked for my number.”
Charles raised his brows. “Is that your subtle way of telling me to hurry up and ask for it?”
“Subtle is my middle name,” you retorted, his own repeated words thrown back in his face but they seemed to light a spark inside him.
Charles’ eyes dropped to your lips for a few passing beats before they returned to your eyes, and you saw everything written in them. This was different to the days you had spent down in the foyer. Everyone could see you both. You could see everyone. It was public and out in the open and exposed.
But here?
It was just you and him and the pretty night sky that shone and glittered with stars. You were away from the world, from reality. You were away from your family and friends. You were away from peering eyes and judgemental looks. You were in a bubble you never wanted to leave, huddled in thick wool blankets and desperately hoping he would close the minimal distance between you both.
His lips were a hairbreadth away from brushing against yours when another breeze caressed your skin, sending a shiver down your spine that momentarily jolted you away from him.
“You’re cold,” he noted, though it was pretty obvious when you two were both outside in minimal layers. “Let’s get inside. We can warm up by the fire.”
And a part of you wanted to scream off the balcony into the French Mountains when he stood up, when the moment broke and his lips weren’t against yours. But as angry as you wanted to be, you were grateful when he guided you to sit in front of the fire as he added more wood to the dying embers.
His thigh was brushing against yours when he settled into the spot beside you on the floor, his cheeks tinted pink from the cold as he grinned at you before holding his hands out to the fire. You laughed, following suit and the conversation from moments before the almost-kiss returned.
However, minutes passed and your body was still racked with small shivers that Charles quickly picked up on.
“C’mere,” he murmured as he lifted his arm, giving you little time to dispute (not that you were going to) as he wrapped his arm around you and tugged you into his side.
You didn’t think about it too much as you buried yourself into his embrace, as you pressed your cheek into his hoodie and enjoyed the way his hand seemed to leave a trail of heat wherever he touched.
“If I get hypothermia and die, I’m coming back to haunt you and your sugar cookies,” you grumbled, though it was lighthearted as you pressed your nose further into the fabric of his hoodie.
His chest shook underneath you as he laughed and tightened his hold on you. “I would never let anything happen to you, Stormy.”
“You and that stupid nickname,” you said as you let out a long sigh. “You know my actual name now. You have no excuse to use it.”
“Yeah, but it suits you,” Charles retorted, letting out a small noise of surprise when your cold fingers pinched his side. “Plus, you get this…uh, what’s the word…cute look on your face when you’re angry.”
Your head snapped up to glare at him. “I don’t look cute when I’m angry.”
His face brightened. “Yes! That face! C’est mignon!"
Your eyes narrowed further. “Don’t pull the cute French card, it’s not gonna help you.”
“You think my French is cute?” Charles replied, his laugh echoing through the suite as you rolled your eyes.
“You drivers and your egos,” you grumbled.
“Have a lot of experience with drivers?” Charles questioned, a hint of something unreadable in his voice.
You snorted, both of you knowing the answer to that question but you played along. “Maybe I do.”
His eyes darkened slightly. “What about kissing them?”
And just like that, Charles Leclerc had left you speechless for what felt like the millionth time since you met him.
His gaze was locked on your lips, the crackling of the fire felt like it was booming through the silent room and you were truly wondering if your heart was going to burst through your chest and splat on the floor in front of you both.
“I can’t say I have much experience in that department,” you admitted once you managed to choke your words out.
His lips twitched upwards. “Would you like some experience, Stormy?”
You didn’t know if you nodded or if he just took the signs of your flustered, stuttering mess and took mercy on you. You didn’t know if his hand reached to cup your face first or if it was your hand on the nape of his neck instead. You didn’t know if it was you moaning lowly into the kiss when his tongue darted out or if it was him.
Kissing Charles Leclerc was overwhelming and world-altering and, truthfully, you didn’t think you could even utter your own name if someone asked you at that moment.
“Merde,” he groaned before he kissed you harder, faster, more passionately. His other hand reached for your waist, those muscles hidden under his baggy hoodie put to good use as he hauled you onto his lap.
Your knees sat on either side of his hips, your ass firmly planted on his lap as the new position allowed you to fully wrap your arms around his neck. The boy’s hands dropped to your waist, squeezing and guiding as your hips shifted in his lap as his kisses left you seeking anything he would give you.
“I’ve wanted to do that for a long time,” he admitted when he had to pull away, when his lungs were burning for air. But you still wanted more, you sought out to keep hearing those pretty noises he made as your lips trailed down his neck. “So fucking long.”
“You took your time,” you muttered between open-mouthed kisses when his hold tightened as your lips passed a particularly sensitive spot just below his ear.
“You hated me for a majority of the time we’ve known each other,” he managed to utter out, his head falling back as your teeth lightly grazed his skin.
“Does it look like I hate you now?” You retorted, something about the back and forth feeling as thrilling and exciting as his fingers fiddling with the hem of your hoodie.
Charles’ eyes caught yours as you lifted your head from his neck, lips red and swollen and fuck, he wanted to kiss you again. “I think I need a little more convincing.”
“Yeah?” You watched as he nodded, a little too eager but it made your stomach twist in the best way possible. “Well, you did promise to keep me warm.”
“I did,” he murmured, his voice a little rough and husky.
“Warm me up, Leclerc,” you whispered as you leaned down to kiss him again, his hands squeezing your waist before your lips even touched. “And then I’ll decide if I hate you still.”
A choked noise of surprise left your lips when Charles suddenly moved. You were no longer sitting on his lap, but instead had been laid back on the floor with the boy now hovering over you. He flashed you a smile, one twisted with promises that made your chest feel tight.
You waited for him to lean down and kiss you again. You waited to feel his heated touch on your body. You waited for him to finally slide his hands under the fabric of your hoodie, to feel his fingers along your bare skin.
But instead, he just looked at you with so much fondness in his eyes.
“What?” You questioned, and suddenly the idea of being naked underneath him was no longer the most exposed you felt.
“Nothing,” he said simply as he shook his head. “Just…wanted to make sure.”
Your brows furrowed together. “Of what?”
“That you’re okay with this,” Charles said as he finally lifted his hand, as he let his fingers brush across the apple of your cheek. You could feel your skin heating up underneath his touch. “I want you to know that I’m happy to just talk. I don’t want you to think I just invited you here to—”
“Charles,” you interrupted, and the boy fell quiet as his cheeks flushed pink. “I want to.”
He tried to bite back his smile. “Yeah?”
You laughed, nodding. “Yeah.”
And despite the reassurance and despite the heat in your body that just wanted to throw your legs over the boy and ride him until the sun came up, Charles Leclerc was nothing, if not a gentleman. And something about that made it so much hotter.
His touch was always so confident but gentle. The way his lips pressed against yours, the way his tongue caressed yours as his fingers slowly peeled away the layers of clothes between the two of you. The way he paused to set down pillows and a blanket to make it comfier for you before his fingers hooked on the waistband of your panties, dragging them down your legs and discarding them someplace else.
The way you reached down to cup his bulge in his boxers, prepared to slip your hand beneath the elastic of his boxers and stroke the length of him—only to have your hands batted away. You barely got a chance to question him before his kisses silenced you, before they began moving south and you felt his lips on every inch of your exposed skin that he could reach.
You felt breathless by the time he was between your legs. You felt like your head was spinning with pleasure as he hooked his arms around your thighs and happily settled between them. You felt like you were in some sugar cookie induced dream as you glanced down, catching his eager eyes watching every little move and reaction you made.
The fire was roaring a few feet away, loud and proud and yet, it was his touch and whispered words that made your whole body feel like lava was coursing through your veins. It was the way his tongue swiped and licked your needy pussy, the way his lips wrapped around your clit until your back was arching off the ground. It was the way Charles murmured soft praises as his hands reached out for yours, as he intertwined your fingers and softly squeezed as you came on his tongue once, twice until you felt like a pile of bones.
It was the way he smiled down at you like his face wasn’t glistening with your release. The way he leaned down to kiss you with the taste of yourself still on his tongue. It was the way he was fully prepared to leave it there, let you rest, spend the rest of the night listening to the random rants he could coax out of you.
Charles only let out a surprised noise when you pushed him onto his back, as you straddled him like you fantasised about earlier and reached between your bodies to squeeze his aching cock.
You knew Charles Leclerc was pretty, even in the days where you thought you despised the man. It was an undeniable fact that he was easy on the eyes, that he was gorgeous, that he had one of those faces that didn’t make him feel like he was a real human.
But he was undoubtedly prettier when you were sinking down on his cock, walls squeezing him as his lips parted to let out a string of curse words in a handful of languages you didn’t speak.
His hands were all over you, his lips never stopped moving  and all it took was a slight lapse in your tempo as you rocked back and forth for the boy to grip your hips, hold you up with ease and fuck up into you.
You were a puddle on his chest, his lips right beside your ear as he whispered filthy words to you. His hands and kisses were gentle when it felt like you could feel his cock in your throat from how deep inside he was. Charles Leclerc was a fucking enigma that you didn’t ever want to work out.
And even after he did most of the work, even after he was breathless and flushed and fucked out, you were still the first thing on his mind. Your comfort, your pleasure, just you.
“Cherie,” he murmured softly, the accent seeming a little thicker as he spoke. “We should move to the bed.”
“No,” your words muffled as you nuzzled yourself further into his chest, content where you were with your legs tangled together and your naked bodies pressed together. “I’m comfy here. Beside you.”
“Okay,” was all he said in response as he pressed a lingering kiss to the crown of your head and pulled the blanket over the both of you before holding you closer—if that was even possible.
The first thing you noted when you woke up was how comfortable the ground felt beneath you.
The second thing was that you were no longer on the floor, but on a very comfy bed with a mattress that felt like it was a cloud.
Your hand blindly reached out to your side, expecting to feel a solid, warm body and probably a disgruntled curse from a certain Monegasque, but it never came. Your brows furrowed together, your hand continuing to pat the bed but it felt cold under your touch.
For a short moment, you wondered if you had dreamt it all. You wondered if it was just a hyper-realistic dream where you swore you could still feel his touch on you, if it was all a part of your imagination.
And then, from the other side of the door, you heard a voice.
Your lips unknowingly tilted upwards as you sat up in bed, the sheet falling to your waist as you did. You stretched out your limbs, moving with no real rush as you grabbed the first piece of clothing you could find—a shirt of Charles’ that rested at your thighs—before making your way towards the door.
You pushed the door open, expecting to find him lounging on the couch as he talked away to whoever he was on the phone with, but he wasn’t. You leaned your head out, peeking around to instead finding him on the balcony, the door still open to let his voice and a chilly breeze carry through into the suite.
You contemplated bracing the cold and making your way towards the balcony, to wrap your arms around his waist and settle into the warmth of him as he finished his call. Your hand moved to pull the door open wider, but then the muffled voice became actual words and you froze.
“She doesn’t mean anything to me. She never has. Why should I care now?”
You frowned a little.
“I was doing her a favour, for no other reason.”
Your stomach churned, but you tried to ease your thoughts that were threatening to spiral.
“I’m not going to ever see her again after this trip, what’s the big deal anyways?”
But that? That was your final straw.
You felt sick to your stomach as you rushed around the room, staying as silent as you could as you redressed yourself. Your head felt like it was spinning, like you couldn’t even keep up with your own thoughts. You wanted to feel angry and spiteful, and maybe you did.
But most of all, you just felt disappointed.
In yourself. In the situation. In the man you thought Charles Leclerc was.
You were fighting down the bile that felt like it was rising up your throat when you finally slipped out of his suite. He was still on the phone, still on the balcony when you left. And he probably wouldn’t even realise you were gone until you were safely back in your own room, where you could let everything hit you at once and let the tears threatening to spill finally fall.
You didn’t want to believe it. You didn’t want to believe he was that kind of guy, another asshole that you had laid yourself out in front of, only for it to be thrown back in your face. You wanted to believe he was the gentleman you saw, touched and kissed last night.
But the truth of the matter was that Charles Leclerc was just another name on your list of men who disappointed you, and you didn’t want to see his stupid, perfect face ever again.
Charles was absolutely fucking baffled.
He felt like he was missing a key bit of information in his own life, and no matter how many times he replayed the last week or so in his head, he couldn’t work out what he was doing wrong.
After a season of disappointing races and a team that played with his strategy like a fucking water balloon being thrown around by a group of toddlers, Charles wanted an escape. He wanted a place away from journalists and fans and everyone who even knew who he was. He just wanted a break from his own life.
The vacation at The Chalet was meant to just be that, but it became so much more.
For the first time in a long time, Charles felt like himself again. He felt happy. He was excited for the new year, he was excited for the future, he was excited for what possibly lay ahead of him. He felt like he was in some dream, but it wasn’t a dream. It was his reality and he woke up every day eager to know what amazing thing would happen to him—to know what amazing day he would have with you.
But that dream seemed to crumble into pieces when he realised you were ignoring him.
He didn’t try to take it too personally when he headed back into the bedroom that morning, his cheeks tinted pink from the cold weather but eager to spend a few lazy hours with you in between the sheets. He was eager to make you smile and maybe kiss you, maybe do something more.
But disappointment hit his chest when he saw the empty room.
He just assured himself that you probably had to head back to your room before your family and friends woke up, or maybe you wanted to freshen up. He assured himself he would see you at breakfast and everything would be fine.
But it wasn’t fine because you weren’t at breakfast. He waited in case you came at the end, but you didn’t.
He waited for you at the usual spot in the foyer, but you never came.
He waited for you at lunch and dinner too, but you never came.
The next day, he almost expected the same and was preparing himself to ask one of your friends if you were okay, but he was shocked to find you sitting in your usual place at breakfast. He smiled at you, something in his chest easing as he made a step in your direction, but the dirty glare you sent his way was enough to make him stop in his tracks.
You didn’t turn up to the foyer that day either but between the dirty looks from you and the fact he was pretty sure Harper tried to trip him up at the coffee stand, he knew something was wrong.
He just didn’t know what.
And every time he tried to get near you, tried to talk to you, it was a pathetically failed attempt that left that competitive streak inside his chest blaring with annoyance.
You were ignoring him and he didn’t know why.
And then he saw it, three days after you started ignoring him. He was making his way into the dining hall, having just showered after a day in the slopes his friends dragged him out for, when he saw you and Evan by the buffet.
Your eyes found his and something in his chest sparked.
And then his eyes fell to the way your hand rested on Evan’s arm, the way you leaned into him as you laughed, the way Evan’s arm was thrown over your shoulder as you both walked back to your table. He watched as you both sat next to each other, so close your thighs were probably  pressed together under the table and something bitter settled in his stomach.
He knew he had no real reason to be jealous. Especially between the fact that you yourself had assured him everything between you and Evan was platonic (if not familial) and the fact there was no real talk of anything being between you and himself other than a shitload of chemistry.
But even logic didn’t stop the jealousy he felt.
His appetite was gone after that, as he turned around and headed back to his suite that felt a little bittersweet after the amazing night and shit morning he had with you. But he wasn’t in the mood to eat or pine for you from a distance.
Charles was sick and tired of you ignoring him, and he was going to get to the bottom of it.
And the first step in his plan had everything to do with the blond you were currently laughing and touching. He just needed to get Evan alone.
It was Christmas Eve when Charles’ plan finally reached its final step—to finally talk to you.
It felt like an odd sense of deja vu when you woke up that morning, making your way down for breakfast before you got ready for the slopes that day. You thought nothing off the weird looks Evan was giving you or the way he seemed giddier than usual, because truthfully it was no different to how Evan usually was on Christmas Eve.
You put down his eagerness to head towards the slopes under the assumption he probably had some weird challenge for you and Harper at the top. You just hoped this one wouldn’t result in another sprained ankle.
“I’m riding with you today, Stormy,” Evan said as the three of you headed towards the ski lift.
“Uh, get in line, loser,” Harper spoke up as she stood on the other side of you. “I called dibs.”
Evan narrowed his eyes. “No, you didn’t.”
“Well, I did just now,” Harper retorted.
“Does it really matter?” You questioned, amused as you glanced between the two of them.
“Yes!”
“No!”
Harper and Evan turned to glare at each other, confusion from one of them and insistence from the other. However, you just laughed and shook your head.
“Fine, first one to the lift wins!”
You were already settled in the lift as you heard the two of them bickering to each other. You waited to see which one would win, to see who would settle in the spot next to you. However, what you failed to notice was the way Evan all but threw himself on top of his sister so she couldn’t reach the lift before someone else did.
You turned, a smile on your face as you waited to greet the winning Montgomery, but instead you found yourself staring at a painfully familiar set of green eyes.
And in an instant, your smile dropped at the sight of Charles Leclerc sitting next to you.
But before you could even think about jumping off the lift and taking the next seat, the lift was already too high up for you to do anything about it.
“You’ve been ignoring me,” he said to break the silence.
But you didn’t respond.
“Look, I know you don’t want to talk to me but at least hear me out,” Charles continued, a hint of desperation in his voice. “This is all a misunderstanding.”
You kept your gaze facing forward.
“Evan told me what you thought happened that morning.”
And just like that, your head snapped around to stare at him, a mix of emotions going through you right now—though the biggest was possibly Evan’s betrayal.
“You weren’t lying when you said he was a big fan,” he said with a nervous laugh. “It didn’t actually take much for him to tell me why you’ve been ignoring me.”
“You used my friend?” You questioned, the bitterness and coldness in your voice evident.
“I asked and he gave me information,” Charles corrected before his shoulders sagged a bit. “Look, don’t blame him. He heard what I had to say and—”
“And I don’t care what you have to say so go talk to Evan about it,” you spat back at him, watching the way he winced at your words.
“Cherie—”
“Don’t call me that.”
“Stormy—”
“And definitely don’t call me that.”
“Please,” Charles pleaded as he looked at you with wide eyes, ones that held so many emotions you did not want to see. “That phone call was not what you think.”
You looked away at the mention of the phone call, something quite like anger and disgust bubbling inside you at the mere reminder of the words you heard that morning. “Just…stop it, Charles. I don’t care, okay? You go about your life and I’ll go about mine.”
“No,” he stated simply.
You scoffed. “What? You need another girl in another city to have fawning over you? The hundreds of others not enough?”
“No, because I am not interested in my life not having you in it. I am not interested in a hundred other girls.” The words were stated like they were facts. “Stormy, I just want you.”
You scoffed again but a hand tugging yours made you look over at Charles, fully prepared to pull your hand away.
“I wasn’t talking about you on the phone that morning,” Charles quickly blurted out before you had a chance to say anything. “Everything you heard on the phone that morning, it wasn’t about you.”
You blinked.
“It was about Melanie.”
Your brows furrowed together, a crease forming between them that Charles had the urge to smooth out with his thumb, but he resisted.
“What?”
“She—” Charles paused for a moment, like he was trying to gather the correct words. “She’s not my friend, not really.”
You blinked again. “She’s not? But she acts—”
“She acts like we are, yes. She’s a friend of a friend, and that’s about all there is to her. She’s…uh, how do you say? She seems to have gained a crush on me? Or maybe it’s some weird obsession. I’m not quite sure,” Charles admitted with a frown. “She asked me out once, almost a year ago and I declined. But she has latched onto the group ever since and I couldn’t quite shake her off.”
You didn’t say anything, instead letting him continue.
“She wasn’t even meant to be on this trip,” Charles confessed. “But she said to our mutual friend that she was alone this Christmas and…I just couldn’t say no, right? But she’s spent the last year acting like I didn’t reject her and I didn’t like the idea of being trapped up here with her. But even with all our other friends, she was always beside me. She was always there. And when she started to throw tantrums to our friends and make up stories after I started spending time with you, I had enough.”
Your lips parted slightly in shock.
“Turns out she told all our friends that we were together,” Charles said with a grimace. “That we wanted to keep it a secret from the media, and that meant I wanted to keep it from everyone. She tried to make it out like I was a monster to our friends when I started spending days with you. Thankfully, none of them believed a word she said but…it was just too much.”
“Oh.”
“That’s why you heard me ranting on the phone about not seeing her after this trip because I have no plans to be around her ever again and I made that clear to my friends. You can even ask them if you don’t believe me,” Charles said as he finally let out a long breath. He looked at you, an almost pained expression on his face. “I would never say those things about you. Not when you might just be the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
Your cheeks burned. “Charles—”
“I know you feel it too,” he continued, and that desperate note to his voice returned. “I know you’ve felt it all week. I know you felt it that night. I know you feel like this—us—could be something.”
“I’m such an idiot,” you muttered, closing your eyes as you realised the agonsing and the pain and the ignoring over the last few days could have been avoided if you stayed in the bedroom a little longer that morning. Or if you had just spoken to him instead of letting the pettiness take over.
“You had no reason to think otherwise about me, cherie, and I get that,” Charles said as he squeezed your hand, almost like a tester to see if you would pull away or not. But you didn’t. “But I want to change that. I want to explore this. I want to show you that I would never do that to you. I want to give you reasons to trust me.”
“I would like that,” you murmured in a soft voice, but Charles heard you loud and clear as he grinned at you.
“Yeah? You don’t hate me still?” He questioned.
You laughed, shaking your head as you did. “I don’t think I ever hated you, Charles.”
“Good, it makes this easier then,” he said before he leaned in, his slightly chapped lips pressed against yours—and something about it felt like coming home.
You sunk into his embrace, your hand coming up to cup his cheek like you needed to believe he was really there (even if the gloves made it a little awkward). But feeling him smile against your lips was assurance enough.
“Merry Christmas Eve, Charles.”
“Merry Christmas Eve, Stormy. I hope it’s one of many with you.”
And maybe Charles Leclerc became another one of the many reasons you loved The Chalet.

Your husband Namani ୨ৎ ⠂°⠄🕯
Tumblr media
little piece about namani kento as your smitten hubby (was supposed to be drabble + headcannons but i got a lil carried away)
(i gave up after a while but i wanted to post something)
———
content: female!reader , light smut , p in v , housewife reader , lowercase + ass writing skills lmao , virgin!reader , not proof read , pathetic attempt at fluff
nanami kento who’d you married a couple months ago, and you couldn’t be happier with. He was your dream man, caring, loving thoughtful, and just perfect. The time you guys first interacted was something straight out of a christmas hallmark movie. You two met at a fancy restaurant that you worked at. He had been attending a business meeting that had been horribly dull until he laid his eyes on you. The way the work so dutifully for the large party, you seemed so outgoing and friendly. Never complaining nor making a single grimace. (because you knew they had money and you needed that extra tip ) Regardless, he had a respect for women who worked hard. Of course, the way your uniform skirt hugged at the swell of your thighs was attention-stealing enough. He’d had caught your eye as well. His honey-blonde hair, the size of his biceps, and his stoicism is what initially drew you in. “And what would you like to drink sir?” You asked him, voice sugared and smile perfected just for men like him. “W-water.” Kento stuttered, sharp eyes suddenly clouded, drifting over your smaller frame. He cleared his throat and straightened his tie. “Water, please.” He reiterated himself with a monosyllabic tone. Yeah, he was the one.
nanami kento worked up the nerves to write his number below the check signature. He handed the tray back to you, and cleared his throat as you noticed his number along with “come with me to dinner?” written in a neat cursive. You gave him a coy smile and tucked the note into the thin pocket of your apron. “I’d love too.” You told him, waving goodbye to the table. The blond found himself staring after you, warm blush dusted across his pale cheeks. The rest was history as they might say. You guys dating for a couple years, getting to know each other, discovering new things together, and building the blueprint of your upcoming future.
nanami kento who after marrying you, started to care less and less about his job. It was the sole thing he lived for before, taking up his time, energy and thoughts . But now his focus was elsewhere. It was on a woman who he’d met at a restaurant, a woman with her own identity with uniqueness interests and a personality that belonged solely to her. A woman he somehow manage to catch. You were the woman he would treat as his most prized possession, keeping his loving hold steady over you for as long as he could.
nanami kento who before you, woke up at 5; got dressed by 6 and was at work by 7 had tweaked his morning schedule to fit his now married life. He’d set his phone alarm to go off at 6, but would you blame him? He’d need the extra time to rot the morning away with his new wife :( You’d be pressed against his back, arms enclosed around his chest with your sleepy head neatly tucked into the warmth of his neck. He didn’t mind you being the bigger spoon, it just made getting up in the mornings so, so much harder. As he reluctantly tried to pry himself from your relentless grip, nanamni could feel your long, soft lashes flutter against his neck. “Namani…t’s too earlyyy…” you’d drawl, jaw heavy and mouth dry from your sleep. He’d pull himself away even harder, but you were strong and kept his large body flush against your smaller one. “i have to go work today…” he’d whisper to you, which he knew you were aware of this, it was just the routine you’d guys go through every morning. You didn’t respond to his comment, hoping it would mean he’d stay longer. Namani smiled and let you snuggle against him more. He knew how you were though, you’d be greedy for maybe another 10 minutes more before you felt guilty and release your relentless grip on him. “Fine, jus’ go to work.” You’d mutter, sleepy face creased into a bothered expression. Nanami got up from the bed, but not before wrapping the blanket around you and giving your temple a kiss.
nanami kento who would deal with all your troubles and tribulations. Whenever you were on your period, he was like your knight in shining armor (or in a blue collar button-up) the entire week, he’d make your favorite meals when he arrived home by 3:30. Namani would wrap you in as many blankets as you wanted, picking you up and gently placing you on the couch. If you wanted him to stay, he’d stay right by your side, rubbing your back and peppering your face with kisses until you fell asleep. other times you wanted to be left alone and if you did, he would move to a separate room in the cozy house you guys shared, doing laundry, cleaning or whatever domestic chores that would fill your day. After about an hour, you’d always feel lonely and cried from him to come hold you, which he would come running quickly to your aid. (Also to avoid finishing washing the dishes)
nanami kento who made it his life goal to be able to please and provide for you his wife. He convinced you to quit your job. “I rather have you making dinner for just me then a bunch of wealthy assholes.” Kento would comment. You liked being his little housewife who didn’t have much to do. You were both relatively neat people, so they’re wasn’t much cleaning to do. Which you did love to do was cook. Experimenting with recipes you found on Pinterest and surprising your husband when he got home. “Look what i made for dinner, creamy garlic pasta! I found the recipe on Pinterest and it thought you’d like it” You took him by his large forearm and lead him to the kitchen where you had two plates full of the pasta as well as a lit candle and twin drinks. To you, this was just a cozy dinner. For him it was the best way to be welcomed home after a stressful day of work. The amount of thought and time put into the meal was overwhelming to him and he almost shed a tear. When he didn’t say anything, you frowned and thought he didn’t like it. “Ken, is something wrong?” Your voice was shaky and your eyes glassy. Nanami snapped out of his head and took you into an embrace. “No, no. Nothings wrong love, just a little emotional.” You laughed, thinking it was funny how he got emotional over food, but you found it cute. “Let’s eat then now, okay dear?” He’d suggest, blushing at your giggles while pulling out the chair for you to sit in. Of course, in return for any errands or houseworks, Nanami would reward you in anything else. It was only fair, he thought. New clothes? He’d take you to the expensive outlet malls he knew you loved. A new hobby that you wanted to start? He’d pay for anything you’d need plus support you through it (even if you gave up after a month) he’d never bring up your failed ventures either, knowing that it brought you joy in the few moments and he lived for that. Whenever the daily life bored you, Nanami would take you out an adventures. Sometimes it was something as simple as visiting the local farmers market. Others were first class trips around the world. (Malaysia being his personal favorite.) Sometimes, people would make comments on how “he’s spoiling you too much” or “she’ll get bored of you eventually and move to the richer guy,” but Nanami brushed those words carelessly. “I’m not spoiling her,” he’d reply coolly . “I’m reimbursing her for all the work and time she puts into me. My wife does nice things for me, and I do nice things for her.”
namani kento who could please his wife in other ways as well. If there was one thing namani did efficiently was fcking you. You’d both waited until marriage and boy, was it worth it. Namami had the gift of duality when it came to pleasing you. From his mouth, he murmured praises and loving words into your ears. From his body, unrelenting and hungry thrusts assaults on your virgin pussy. Both such drastic differences from his stoicism.“Doing so good for me love, taking me so well.” He’d compliment you causally, as if he wasn’t pumping 8 inches into you. “N-nanami, t’s too much, slow down p-please..” you’d beg, salty tears streaming down your face unto your neck, where’d he’d kiss them away. Namanin never knew how much prettier you could be, especially all sweaty and teary-eyed, but that’s just more of an excuse to do this more often. He caressed your cheek, smiling faintly at your fcked-out expression. You were doing so good for him, especially for your first time, you were just having a little hiccups. “You can take it, cmon just hold out a little longer for me, please? I promise you’ll feel so, so good.” And he kept his promise. Not long after you felt a string being cut in your stomach, causing your voice to go up in octaves and your eyes to screw themselves shut. Your pussy was glistening, covering in your juices and his as well. He didn’t pull out of you yet, and you didn’t want him too. You wanted to savor the feeling of being completely full, of being connected in the deepest way possible with your other half. After what seemed like hours of and bodies melding together. Namani wiped away a single remaining tear and kiss you on your flushed lips.“See, told you it’d be worth it, you did so well. I love you so much y/n.”
“I l-love you too kento.”

Omg, could you pretty please do a ice skating date with Aaron 🥺
everything
omg omg YES cw; bau!reader, established relationship, fluff and some suggestiveness <3
much to one's surprise, aaron hotchner was spontaneous, and it was one of the most romantic qualities he possessed.
the contrast was still enough to give you whiplash at times. once, aaron was the last person you would've thought to jump at an opportunity to stray from routine, orderly and structured in and outside the office. that's the reputation he still upheld when it came to the team. it was almost too hard to believe, despite your reassurances otherwise.
it had been a rare weekend date night; the two of you had just left dinner, and were heading back to the car when you came across the rink in the middle of the town square. before your brain could even process what it was, aaron was pulling you in the direction of the skate rental, peering back at you with a lively yet almost wise, cheeky expression on his face - he knew you would find this just as enjoyable as he would, probably more.
it was like a literal scene out of a movie, very hallmark-esque; colorful, twinkling lights surrounding the rink, soft snow flurries drifting in the air, the love of your life's hand in yours as you skated alongside each other, bundled up in a warm coat, hat, aaron was even sporting a scarf. the two of you made small talk, poking fun and laughing with each other if one of you merely slipped. the only correct way to describe it was pure magic.
as aaron talked about tomorrow's plans - jack wanted decorate the apartment for the holidays - you couldn't help but stare lovingly at him. he sent every part of you aflame; you were warm inside despite the near frigid cold, butterflies continuously erupted in your stomach, and just having him besides you, there weren't enough words to describe the feeling within.
you just kept thinking - this. this is how it's supposed to be. life, love, everything.
"why are you looking at me like that?" a chuckle shook through aaron's chest, gazing down at the ice with a mindful eye - weary and careful of potentially slipping and bringing you down with him.
you slid to a stop, gliding in front of aaron and grabbing onto both his hands. "because i love you."
aaron's adorable smile formed on his face, giving your glove-covered hands a squeeze. "or, is it because i look like a complete idiot?"
"well i mean, yes." you were quick to quip, deadpanning teasingly. aaron's laugh filled your ears and prompted you to release a laugh of your own. but, you shook your head. "no. again, because i love you."
aaron hummed in content. "how'd i get so lucky?" he gently pulled on your hand, and due to the slick ice, it was more than enough to cause your body to meet his, drawing you in for a sweet, quick kiss.
"funny, i was just asking myself the same thing." you grinned, running a hand along his chest before resuming to skate, towing him along. "have you even been skating before?"
"i must've at some point, i'm sure." aaron's lips formed into a smirk, separating your joined hands to place one on your lower back, sliding downwards. "better hold on just in case."
"careful." you playfully warned as your heart fluttered, narrowing your eyes jokingly at him. "skating doesn't give you the excuse to be handsy."
aaron's brown eyes always sparkled naturally, but add in the surrounding twinkling lights, they were simply ethereal. "says who?"

I don't know how to really express this except to come across as a "kids these days" scold, but so much of the criticism of queerness in Good Omens would simply not be a thing if kids these days watched more 20th century queer media. Or more complex indie queer media in general.
People seem to want a show that's like the straight stories they grew up with but gay. Or the gay fanfiction they grew up with. But that's not really the tradition it's coming from. First off the novel was released in 1990. Queer film classics of the time are Dead Poet's Society (1989) and Torch Song Trilogy (1988). The TV miniseries Tales of the City (1993) wasn't made until 3 years later and it was so far out there it never had a huge audience. Philadelphia (1993) is also 3 years out and was basically the first big studio queer film. The first fluffy queer Hallmark-style romcom wasn't until Big Eden in 2000, a full 10 years after publication.
Queer stories from the time it was written were about complex and often fraught relationships between people who the world was trying to force apart. There is an incredibly strong tradition in queer films of relationships with no guarantees they will work out both in the face of their personal baggage and the weight of the world. Take a film like Torch Song Trilogy that's about the two great loves of Arnold Beckoff's life over 9 years and how homophobia shapes them. Both externally (especially Allen) and internally like Ed struggling with his bisexuality and being terrified of being publicly out. Written and starred in by Harvey Fierstein, who identified as a gay man at the time and only came out as nonbinary last year.
The Boys In The Band (1968 play, filmed 1970 and 2020) was a monumental moment in Broadway history where finally there was a play about gay men in their own words where no one died and very strongly showed that homosexuality doesn't make people miserable but homophobia sure does. But that homophobia also throws their personal lives into constant turmoil and none of them are in happy relationships, although Hank and Larry are devoted to each other in their own fucked up way.
"Relationships are complicated and hard to make work and sometimes a struggle against the odds" is an aesthetic of classic queer film making. Partly it was influenced by the Hays Code (although independent films were not bound to it), partly influenced by the rampant queerphobia in society at the time that was inescapable. But it's also an aesthetic choice to resist the banal and unrealistic relationship depictions of straight media. There are actual stakes to the relationship. Queer people were actively resisting a world that said "Romance is seeing someone across the room and instantly falling in love with each other and little conflicts happen along the way but ultimately they're destined to be together and everything is happily ever after." Recall that "stalking as romance" was a completely inescapable trope in 1980s straight romance films, and every goddamn movie was being turned into a romance film.
So queer people in film and television when they can make what they please have a long tradition of saying instead "People don't always realize the feelings they've developed for a queer partner right away. They may have reasons for denying those feelings that are both a reflection of the cruelty in society and of their own insecurities. People struggle with where they belong and their relationships reflect that. Loving someone doesn't mean they don't also drive you crazy and you might fight with them constantly. But that doesn't negate the love or that feeling that even if things aren't okay, they're better with that person around. But maybe that person can't stay around. The world may be against you. And also maybe you don't just want that one person in your life. Soulmates is a very flawed model. Sometimes the strongest love is a struggle with yourself and the world and your person. You have to overcome yourself first. Happily ever after is a lie. You may be happy for a while, and hopefully for a long while, but everything ends. And you have to be ready to love again. Also your platonic bonds are just as important and life-altering as your romantic ones. Sometimes those platonic bonds include fucking if you want them to. Real life isn't a bunch of platitudes and world-altering moments, it's daily work to better yourself and the world around you. Especially when things just fucking suck. But also remember to have fun and fuck the haters. People who don't support you can eat rocks and you should yell at them more to shut the fuck up."
That is a fundamentally different outlook on what a "good relationship depiction" looks like. Personally, I thought I hated romance movies and then I started watching queer romance movies and discovered I love them and watch them all the time. Because it turns out what I hated was relationships being shown that had nothing at all to do with reality and privileged incredibly toxic ideals. Finally there was complexity, there were stakes, and there were people who had to truly want to be together enough to fight the world for it and not because they happened to be there. There were people actually talking out their problems and looking for resolutions. (And sometimes that resolutions was "I can't fucking deal with this bullshit anymore and I'm out.") For the first time it felt real.
I'm an aroace trans gay man. Nothing about relationships or being in relationships has come easy to me, and the whole paradigm of straight patriarchal romance depictions makes absolutely no sense to me. It's completely alien. Queer romance stories actually feel human.
And that's the tradition Good Omens is coming from, even as it's being retold in 2019-2023 and hopefully beyond. Gaiman's work has always been based in that queer media paradigm. (I've been remiss and daunted and haven't read Pratchett but from what I do know his work also seems to sit more in that world view.) It's a beautiful cinematic tradition and it's baffling to me that people would resist it instead of embracing it for being honest.
And that's when I turn into a crotchety old man complaining about the youth not connecting with the history of their beautiful culture and instead begging for assimilation into a shithole allocishet media landscape that doesn't actually want them except for their money and has nothing at all interesting or valuable to say. But it's very funny (annoying) to me when people claim Good Omens is someone against queer culture when it's so thoroughly bathed in the best of queer media's storytelling traditions and what people are asking for is straight media with the serial numbers filed off. Like, stop being boring please and know literally anything about the culture the adults in the room lived through and were influenced by. The world didn't begin in 2015.
EDIT: I also want to add that in straight media arcs are linear. Traditionally in queer media arcs are cyclical. Queer media very often depicts people going around in circles relearning the same lesson over and over as they inch towards it sinking in. But every time they go through the cycle they gain just a little bit more enlightenment and slowly move towards a better place. From the comments this is an immensely important distinction. People don't actually have cathartic moments where suddenly all their past bad programming is shed and they saunter forward a new person with none of their old baggage. In reality people fall into the same patterns over and over even though they have had every opportunity to learn better. "People magically get better" is a trope of straight media that's an outright and frankly dangerous lie. Again, Good Omens follows the queer tradition not the straight one and it's depicted 6,000 years of that cycle. The world didn't end, and the wheel keeps turning, as it always has and always will. That's so fundamental to queer storytelling traditions I forgot to even mention it.

MAIN MASTERLIST | MARCUS MORENO MASTERLIST
HEYDAY HERO <- Main Story
Enjoy! 🖤
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The early morning Austin sun casts a warm glow over Marcus's garden as he ambles among the clusters of vibrant blooms swaying gently in the Texan breeze.
Clipping blush peonies with thoughtful precision, his mind is preoccupied with thoughts of Missy and you; the two women in his life showering him with more love in abundance than he could ever wish for.
Fragrant petals whisper to him in the gentle flurry, carrying the promise of a special day he’s woken up to. A day that, for so long, had seemed so mundane - another day ending in a Y. So pointlessly lonely. Just ordinary in his solace without a partner to share the topical mushiness with, even if it was rife with capitalist sentiment sponsored by the fat cats at Hallmark.
Lost in contemplation as he prunes and snips at stems, Marcus's thoughts are a blend of affection and giddy anticipation, and he can’t wait to see his daughter smile as she inhales in the perfumed fragrance of the florals he’s chosen just for her.
Despite the lack of a romantic partner since the passing of his wife and Missy's mother, his Valentine’s Days since were about showering Missy with love and appreciation, something that she initially resisted, stomping into her unruly teens and it being branded “uncool” to spend time with her father fussing over her as she was reaching maturity.
But he still upheld that tradition nonetheless.
Now a headstrong woman in her thirties, she could appreciate that effort and often sought it out willingly as she would snuggle in closer to him when watching a movie together after a hard day of fighting the world’s enemies and threats, and he would smile as she fell asleep snoring into the soft cotton of his t-shirt, and subsequently leaving a patch of drool on it.
But as much as the superhero father-daughter duo loved one another, Marcus missed the companionship of a partner he could shower with hopelessly romantic sentiment and love of a more intimate kind.
That was until he met you.
Over the course of the last six months, yours and Marcus’s relationship has bloomed and flourished, much like his garden, evolving into a softly hedonistic timeline woven with shared experiences, laughter, and genuine affection.
Despite the exciting journey you’re both on, you both carry unspoken anxieties that occasionally cast shadows on the picturesque canvas of your budding romance.
Your dates were a delightfully regular mix of adventures - whether exploring museums, cozying up at home with a homemade dinner and a classic movie, or exploring the wonderland of nature.
And Marcus still can’t get your first meeting out of his mind. The date that solidified it all for him.
He was mesmerised by you, and still is, fearing some days he’ll wake up and realise it’s all been some wondrous dream where he subconsciously created and crafted you from the moulds of his inert loneliness.
He glances over to the sun loungers by the pool, and his cock pulls tight in his jeans, remembering the two of you sat in one together, listening to your words as you read from your book to him, only a few days ago as the sun set into a fiery orange sky.
He can smell the scent of your skin again now as the tepid heat warmed it as he had you in his arms, basking in the dying rays as he buried himself inside of you from behind. His nose running tracks against the back of your neck as his fingers drew circles on your clit, bringing you to soaring heights without ever leaving the ground.
With the book discarded to the patio, his big hands were resting and stroking on the crinkles of your tummy skin as he whispered how beautiful you are, nipping on your earlobe as the sky blushed above you, an expansive voyeur to your lovemaking.
The gentle, yet enthusiastic, pace of your relationship allows you to savour each moment, creating a foundation of tentative understanding and trust. Yet, as the seasons change, the passage of time invokes subtle insecurities that bleed in uninvited.
It’s human nature, he supposes. Marcus, a retired superhero, whose body had once effortlessly defied gravity, now finds himself grappling with the harsh realities of ageing. The occasional ache and stiffness serve as reminders of the physical toll his heroic past has taken on him.
You, too, are confronted with your own insecurities when you stand in front of the mirror, naked after a shower, and notice things aren't as supple or as perky as they used to be. The mirage of eternal youth begins to dissipate, sands falling in the glass, replaced by the acknowledgement of lines that trace the stories of your laughter, and the gradual changes of a sinking gravity that comes with the eventual movement of time.
As the months towards his retirement from the Heroics had unfolded, Marcus began to notice the subtle changes in his body - the creaky echoes of years spent in the pursuit of justice. The once effortless movements that defined his superhero heydays were now accompanied by a quiet reminder of the toll taken on his physical form.
Morning stiffness became a familiar companion as Marcus greeted the dawn - a stiffness of a different, less exciting kind.
The pops in his joints were like a cacophony of irritating reminders, a natural clicking chorus that played out, despite him being an unwilling conductor, as he rose from his bed. Aches manifested in areas that once bore the brunt of intense physical exertion.
His shoulders, which had once easily carried the weight of the world, now bore the imprints of past struggles. Welted, faded scars of times when he came close to exchanging his life so others could live, adorned him. White, little lines of jagged lightning against the golden skin that you would run your fingers or tongue over, bringing about a sensual healing in the layers of his marred epidermis with your explorative and worshipping ministrations.
On some days, Marcus found himself pausing to stretch, a conscious effort to ease the tightness that settled into his muscles. The warm-up routine, once a prelude to high-flying acrobatic adventures, now became a ritual to navigate the nuances of a body shaped by years of gritty heroism.
Yet, despite the stark, physical reminders of ageing, Marcus approached each day with resilience and a quiet acceptance. The aches were not signals of defeat but rather markers of a life well-lived, a testament to the now grey hero who had faced challenges head-on and emerged with stories of grandeur etched into the fabric of his being.
Observant and empathetic, you stood by Marcus's side as he navigated these physical aches and pains on the mornings you woke up together.
Your gentle massages and understanding glances spoke volumes, creating a space where the vulnerabilities of ageing became threads that wove you both closer together.
He thinks back to the way your hands glide over his body and soon distract him from the aches to another ache weighing heavy between his legs. The more pleasant vareity of morning stiffness.
His ears are soon filled with your gasps and moans as he zones out under the morning sun, thinking back to mornings waking with you wrapped around him as he slipped inside you and worked you both out.
In that tranquil corner of the garden, surrounded by the coveted peace of nature, Marcus confronts the uncertainties, but the happiness he feels quells any of that self-doubt in an instance.
The kitchen, the epicentre of Marcus’s world now, soon becomes a hub of activity as Marcus sets about creating a special morning feast on the day of San Valentín.
The aroma of homemade pancakes fills the air, mingling with the scents of freshly brewed coffee and tarte fruity berries. The vase of peonies adorns the table, adding a touch of colour to the special breakfast spread he’s prepared all morning with love and care.
As Missy enters the kitchen, hair damp and bedraggled, the mild surprise melting away the sleep in her battered eyes, Marcus can't help but beam.
"Happy Valentine's Day, kiddo," he says, presenting her with the hand-cut bouquet.
Missy's eyes light up with unbridled joy as she accepts the vase of flowers with a kiss on the side of his fuzzy face. "Dad, these are beautiful. Thank you."
“Only the best for my muñeca. Sit, I made you some breakfast.” (Doll.)
“You’re not having breakfast with your lovely lady?”
“We’re spending the rest of the day together. I've made plans.” His eyes light up as he says it, pouring out hot coffee.
"Sneaky." Missy smirks.
“This morning is just for you and me.”
“Makes a change not to see you two half-naked and draped all over each other. You know, these walls are paper thin.”
“Shut up.” Marcus says, evidently blushing.
“I ought to file a complaint, I’m sure it violates some building code… loud noises.”
“Or you could just stay at your place?” He suggests with a grin.
“Pffft. That’ll never happen.”
In the days leading up to Missy and you meeting for the first time - which was inevitable really considering how often your paths had almost crossed with Missy using her key at any God given time of day - Marcus hadn’t been able to shake a lingering sense of angst. He found himself caught in the crossroads of two important relationships intermingling in his life, and the fear of you both not getting along tugged at the edges of his erratic thoughts.
As he’d prepared the house for your official get-together, Marcus couldn't help but second guess his decision. What if you didn't hit it off? The worry gnawed at him, the uncertainty of your connection becoming a lead weight on his broad shoulders and making him feel somewhat nauseous at the prospect of facing a choice.
He tried to distract himself with preparations, arranging a small dinner, which soon became over the top due to the stress-cooking that ensued, and ensuring the atmosphere was comfortable.
But every now and then, a wave of anxiety washed over him despite Missy reminding him that he was worrying over nothing.
If she makes you this goofy, Dad, then I already love her… Missy'd remarked as he clattered about clumsily with pans.
When the hour finally arrived, Marcus did his best to hide his apprehension despite his squally gut. As Missy and you exchanged greetings, he observed your interactions with a hopeful, yet anxious, heart.
The initial moments were filled with small talk, and Marcus found himself holding his breath, waiting for a sign that you were connecting, and shucking in deep breaths of oxygen when you subtly reminded him to breathe, observing him turn a shade of purple and giving his thigh a reassuring squeeze.
Of course, Marcus needn't have worried - Missy and you got on like a house on fire.
Laughter began to flow naturally, and conversations unfolded effortlessly. The tension in Marcus's shoulders eased as he witnessed his daughter and new partner finding common ground, especially in teasing him, it appeared.
Marcus smirks as he places a plate under Missy’s nose.
“Heart-shaped, chocolate chip pancakes? You trying to woo me, Dad?”
“Just showing the love for my amazing daughter.”
“Why, what are you after?” Smiling, she pours the raspberry syrup over the stack.
“Nothing. Just want you to know how special you are to me is all.” He mumbles quietly with pink cheeks frazzling under his thick rimmed specs.
"Your love is causing me to gain five pounds." She muses.
“What’s that?” He asks, nodding over to the skin on her shoulder now revealed as she ties back her hair.
She glances down at the rather large and angry bruise and back at her father’s concerned eyes.
“I can handle it, Dad.” She reminds him as he visibly tenses.
“I know. But I’m always going to worry. Even if you are a Moreno badass.”
She laughs and then sighs, pulling her cardigan on and covering up the bruise. “Comes with the territory, right?"
He nods, sadly. "It does."
Missy picks up her fork to dig in and then hesitates. "Did you... did you ever have those days when you thought about throwing in the towel?”
Marcus nods again. “All the time.”
As Marcus reminisces about his past, memories of battles lost and wounds endured flood his mind like unwelcome guests crashing a solemn reunion. There were moments etched in his memory with the vividness of fresh lacerations - times when victory had slipped through his fingers like sand, leaving behind scars that ran deeper than mere flesh and bone.
“How did you keep going? How did you… find the strength?” She sighs and Marcus can only helplessly observe the features of her own face, young, but carrying that weight of the world is starting to age her quicker than he would like.
He remembers the deafening roar of explosions echoing in the night as he fought valiantly against insurmountable odds, only to find himself battered and broken, his spirit and pride bruised more than his body.
There were battles where the enemy's strength seemed limitless, where every blow landed with the force of a freight train, threatening to crush his resolve beneath its weight.
In the aftermath of defeat, Marcus found himself questioning everything he had once believed in. The wounds he bore were not just physical; they were a reflection of the doubts and insecurities that gnawed at the edges of his consciousness.
He considered putting away his katanas many, many times, walking away from the life of a hero and leaving behind the chaos and destruction that seemed to follow in his wake.
But even in the darkest moments of despair, a flicker of hope remained - a stubborn ember that refused to be extinguished. It was the memory of those he had sworn to protect, the faces of innocence that haunted his dreams and whispered words of encouragement in the depths of his despair mid-fight.
Marcus leans over the counter on his arms and pinches a raspberry from Missy’s plate.
“For you. I wanted to make the world a better place for you to grow up in. Safe.”
Missy smiles like a dim bulb about to burn out as she eats. “You did a pretty good job of that, Dad. I've had some big shoes to fill.”
He smiles, running his tongue around the raspberry pips now lodged in his teeth.
“You’re doing great, kiddo.”
He reaches for another raspberry and she bats his hand away as he chuckles.
“You know, you’re the only man who's ever gotten me flowers…” She says a few minutes later, eyeing the fluffy heads with a slight dip on her face, and Marcus can’t help but furrow his brow in unison.
Missy looks up at her father with twinkly eyes that mirror the melting chips in the pancakes. “I love you. You know that, right?”
“Te quiero mucho, mucho.” (I love you very, very much.) He nods as they eat together.
“I should get going-” Missy states after she finishes her plate, which only seems to be after a few hefty shovels.
“No, stay.”
“As much as I love being a third wheel, it’s Valentine’s Day.” She reminds him.
“Hey.” Marcus takes her elbow gently. “You know this is your home, you're always welcome here, no matter what. I always want you here.”
“I know. But you guys should do the whole love thing today. Alone.”
“What about you?” He asks, concerned at the thought of Missy sitting alone in her apartment on the most love-filled day of the year.
“I’ll be fine.” She assures with a tight smile. “Might see if Miss Starlight or Renegade wanna hang. We can all be lonely and miserable together.” She snorts.
A thoughtful pause follows before Marcus tentatively broaches the idea. "Have you ever thought about giving online dating a try? You know, like the dating app profile you made for me? I hear it’s all the rage these days."
Missy raises an eyebrow, a playful grin forming on her face, "Dad, are you suggesting I join the world of swipes and emojis? Because that ship has long sailed. I’m knee deep in dilfs on the regular." She grins.
Marcus chuckles nervously, "I have no idea what any of that means.”
“Probably best.”
“Well, I mean, it's one way to meet people. You might find someone who appreciates your eloquent wit and charm."
“Don’t forget the potty mouth.”
“That too,” he smiles. “I know what it’s like. Being the world’s hero leaves you somewhat… lonely. I don't want that for you.”
Missy nods contemplating. “I’ve been giving it some thought.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, you two seem really happy together. I guess I miss having that sometimes.”
Marcus, feigning surprise, replies, "Really? Well, I guess you can thank your old man for staying on top of the trends and leading by example."
Missy rolls her eyes playfully, "Oh, I will, Dad. You're my dating app guru now."
“Hardly.” He scoffs.
“This is true, you lucked out on round one. You didn’t get to kiss any gnarly toads or do the walk of shame.”
“The walk of shame?”
“I'll tell you about it when you’re older some day,” Missy quips with a grin.

There’s always a subtle restlessness, a physical awareness that manifests in the anticipation of your next meeting.
The memory of your kiss lingers on his lips, he can still taste you long after you're gone, and the mere thought of your touch again sparks a warmth that courses through his veins, burning him up from the inside.
His body has changed so much, and yet you make Marcus feel like he’s young and nubile again when the butterflies begin to flap around, and that tingle surges deliciously down the length of his cock.
With a sense of heady excitement and a touch of mystery, Marcus decided to plan a special surprise for you for Valentine’s Day.
One that he hopes you won’t forget in a hurry.
He arrives at your place, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, and the breath torn from his lungs as he beholds you opening the door with that gorgeous smile just for him.
Every time he has the chance to see you again, whether for a planned date or an unexpected visit, Marcus feels a powerful surge run through him, making his fingers crackle with a pulsing intensity that makes them buzz almost uncontrollably. He doesn't bother shaking the feeling away anymore, instead he revels in it.
The moments leading up to your regular reunions are filled with a blend of eagerness and a touch of nervous anticipation, as if each meeting holds the promise of uncovering something new and extraordinary.
In those stolen glances and shared moments, Marcus discovers that missing someone can be a beautiful ache, a testament to the depth of his feelings for you, absent hearts and all that spiel.
An ache that is soon satiated when you open the door and smile at him like he’s the only man in the world.
His lips find yours almost instantly as you grasp onto his broad shoulders in the doorway, the pair of you almost toppling through in your desperate haste. The soft groans that escape him makes your blood throb inside your veins.
His tongue slips into the comforting home of your mouth, and you feel it over every nerve ending in your body, tingly and visceral. And not just from his crackly fingertips.
“Hey you,” you eventually manage to sigh into his plush mouth, feeling the silk of his greying beard smoothing against your cheeks.
“Hey, mi Dulzura…” (Hey, my Sweetness) he murmurs dreamily as he plants delicate kisses along your jawline and inhales the scent of your perfume. It’s the vanilla and jasmine one he likes so much when he can smell it lingering on his pillows.
He’s all hands and enthusiastic smooches the moment he sees you. Unable to abnegate himself away from the basic needs of touch and affection that you give back to him in equal abundance.
You can't get enough of one another.
You feel his large hands squeeze your hips gently, and your body flares as he pulls you in closer to him, crushed right up against his stacked, warm chest as he kisses you more with a heated groan.
Reluctantly pulling away he suggests, "How about we go on a little adventure today? I've got something special planned."
“You spoil me, Mr Moreno.” You cluck, running your hands over the soft leather jacket adorning his arms.
“Always,” he confirms with a grin. “You look great, so beautiful,” he says, eyeing your tight jeans and pretty floral shirt combo.
“As do you, you scrub up well.” You marvel at the jeans, leather jacket and green t-shirt he’s casually adorned in, pulling tight in all the right places. You stroke over the soft swell of his tummy as you lean in for another kiss.
He pulls something silken out of his pocket and you glance at it with raised eyebrows. “May I?”
“Kinky shenanigans planned on my doorstep?” You query as you allow him to blindfold you. “The neighbours will love that…” You giggle.
“Even better,” he whispers into your ear salaciously.
“You hound.” You swipe out playfully to him, but miss when you can’t see anything at all now.
“Woof.” He growls, pausing to nip on your lobe and revelling in your desperate whine in response.
After a short drive through town, Marcus finally pulls up. "Trust me, you're going to love this," he assures as he guides you out of the car.
He carefully leads you along a path, each step heightening the sense of anticipation. As you walk blindly, his arm around your waist, and your hand holding tightly onto his other, you can feel his own sense of excitement as it buzzes into your skin with those pleasant tingles and crackles.
“Just a little further.” He assures as he pushes open a door and you step through to inhale a moistness in the air; a balmy heat that’s different from the outside that settles into your pores.
“Where are we?” You question with a jaunty, excitable tinkle. For a moment, the smell reminds you of a swimming pool.
“Just wait…” You can hear him grinning.
When you reach your destination, Marcus removes the blindfold, unveiling the breathtaking scene of the Austin botanical garden before you.
The vibrant colours, the fragrant blossoms, and the serene atmosphere creates a picturesque display that leaves you in absolute awe.
You’re surrounded by flowers in abundance, the scent of them driving you wild as they all scramble to make you smell their perfumes first. You’re even more stunned to find it all completely empty.
"Welcome to the botanical garden.” Marcus says, tucking the blindfold into his leather jacket pocket. “It’s one of my favourite places.”
“Wow!” You smile, turning a full three-sixty as you take it all in. “You know, I’ve always been meaning to come here. I don’t know why I haven’t before…”
“I thought we could spend the day here," Marcus announces with a grin. “Look,” he points over to a small set up of a picnic on a grassy area under an intricate arch of purple orchids in the shape of a heart.
“Looks like a giant purple heart emoji.” You smile at him.
He nods, eyebrows wiggling above his specs.
“You really know how to romance a girl,” you smile, stroking under his chin.
“I booked this place out just for us.” His hands slide down your lower back pulling you into him. “We’re completely alone…”
“Really?”
“Yeah. We have the whole day here, if we want.”
“I want. Very much.” You nod and pull him forward by his lapels for a deep kiss.
“I don’t know what to say,” you smile, cupping his cheeks and gliding your nose over his. “Thank you.”
“Anything for you, mi Dulzura. Feliz Día del Corazón.” (My Sweetness. Happy Heart Day.)
He kisses you, gently nipping onto your lips as you wrap your arms around the back of his neck.

The air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers as you stroll together along lush pathways, surrounded by an array of captivating plant life.
The Orchid Pavilion, the base for your picnic, is adorned with hanging baskets of intricate orchids, showcasing a kaleidoscope of colours - from delicate pastels to vibrant hues.
After eating together, an array of home baked, sweet treats Marcus had prepared himself, you wander through a section adorned with curtains of exotic orchids, and Marcus can't contain his enthusiasm as he takes on the role of your personal tour guide.
A role he takes very seriously, much to your amusement.
"Did you know orchids have a fascinating way of attracting pollinators? Some mimic the appearance and scent of certain insects to lure them in. It's nature's way of flirting, I suppose." He rambles excitedly.
You chuckle, finding Marcus's nerdy fascination endearing. "Flirting through flowers, who would've thought? Tell me more, Mr. Botanist."
You continue your fascinating journey, hand in hand, and Marcus points out a cluster of carnivorous plants.
"These are pitcher plants. They have specialised leaves that form a pitcher-like structure to trap insects. It's like having a tiny garden predator."
“Have you got these in your garden?” You query, peering into their tube-like structures, like tiny trumpets in the grasses. He has so many of his own plants it's hard to remember them all.
“No. I do have a Venus Fly Trap though. She’s very bitey.” He nips on your neck making you yelp as he walks you forward.
“Ah. Audrey II, of course.” You smirk.
“Of course.” He muses.
As you reach a serene pond surrounded by water lilies, Marcus shares another tidbit.
"Water lilies close their flowers at night and reopen in the morning, and they…. what?” He stops to look at you quizzically, noting the expression spreading over your face. “W-why are you looking at me like that?”
You shake your head smiling, all teeth bared at him. “You're so sexy when you geek out.”
He blushes beet red and smirks. “Oh, you haven’t seen anything yet. Wait until we get to the cacti garden. I will be insufferable.”
"Hot." You chuckle.
You meander through a section dedicated to succulents and cacti, where the desert's resilience takes centre stage. The ground is adorned with various prickly shapes and sizes, from the elegant arms of Saguaro cacti to the whimsical arrangements of succulents that seem to defy gravity as their spiky tendrils reach towards the sky.
The sun bathes this arid landscape in a warm glow through the high glass ceilings, casting shadows that play on the pebbly, sandy ground like a dance of desert spirits conjured by mystical forces.
“You were right, it’s pretty awesome.” You say.
“Not as awesome as you,” he whispers, kissing you again.
A serpentine path leads you to the Aquatic Garden, where more water lilies float gracefully on the surface of a tranquil pond. Golden Koi Carp glide beneath the water, adding a splash of movement as you both sit by it chatting.
The reflections of the surrounding greenery dance on the water, creating a mirror-like effect that seems to amplify the selection of plant species all around you. You dip your fingers into the pool, the fish swimming curiously around at a safe distance, and Marcus watches with a smile that makes his cheeks ache.
“You like butterflies?” He asks you.
You nod, smiling as he takes your hand and leads you to the Butterfly Conservatory, a whimsical space alive with fluttering colours of Black Swallowtails, Red Admirals and Cloudless Sulphurs.
Thousands of butterflies dance around, their delicate wings creating a haze of hues that add an extra layer of enchantment to the garden that stuns you into silent giggles at such a place.
“I wish I could fly sometimes.” You smile as the butterflies flit around, some landing on your sleeves as you admire their delicacy with a splendid awe.
You bring your arm closer to your face, your nose wrinkling in delight as the tiny butterfly shows off its wings just for you.
“Funny you should mention that.” Marcus teases.
You eye him carefully. “What do you mean?”
“I have something else planned for you today. If you’re up for it?”
“I’m always up for it.” You smirk.
“Come on.” He takes you by the hand once more and leads you towards a garden that’s outside and full of roses in every shade of pink and red that exists on the colour scale.
“This is stunning,” you say, slowing down as you take them all in.
Akin to being lost in the Queen of Heart’s gardens, it takes you a few minutes of wandering back through the maze of rose bushes, interwoven with clusters of pale lavender hydrangeas, to find Marcus handling some belts and clips near a device you’ve never seen before.
“Is that what I think it is?” You question with wide eyes as you notice the large contraption hovering just a few inches above the grass, whirring silently.
It has two large circular fans and belts that lead from it to Marcus’s waist as he clips himself securely into it.
“You wanna fly?” He queries and you nod enthusiastically, feeling a surge zap through you and your toes tingle in your shoes.
You feel him navigate a similar belt around your waist, willingly holding your arms out. He runs his nose against your neck as he does it, and you hear him groan in satisfaction as he inhales.
“Mouth watering...” He murmurs as he kisses your skin and your feel it pulse in your core as you clench around nothing.
You watch as he clips your belt into his and tugs against it.
“Are you ready?” Marcus asks you as you step closer to him.
“No.” You giggle.
“Do you trust me?” He questions with a serious face, thumb stroking down your cheek.
You nod looking into his deep, cocoa eyes. “With my life.”
Marcus smiles at that, wrapping his hands around your waist. “I’ve got you. You’re safe, okay?"
"Okay." You nod, smiling.
"You’re not afraid of heights, are you?
“Bit late to ask me that now,” you chuckle, and so does he. "Are you going to run me through the pre-flight safety checks?"
Marcus smirks. "Hold onto me. That's it."
"Well, shit." You cling onto him as the whirring starts to get faster, the blades of grass blown out into flat circles, and you can feel the belt cinch tighter around your waist as it lifts you both off the ground.
“Oh my God!” You clutch onto him tighter and he chuckles softly. “This is really happening!”
“Let’s go see the city.” Marcus smiles, placing a kiss on your head.
Once a soft breeze, the wind grows more ferocious around you, your body becoming free from the reassuring surface of the world.
The wonder in your eyes grows to questionable proportions, and you’re soon completely bewildered at the fact that you're really flying.
He tips forward in a smooth motion so you’re both lying horizontal in the air when the device reaches the desired altitude.
“You ready?”
You nod eagerly as he propels forward with a simple push of his upper body, steering, as you both zoom off towards the Austin city skyline, your giggly gasps ringing in his ears.
Your eyes meet his in wonder as you grip onto him tightly. “Marcus! We’re flying!”
You feel like you’re shouting over the wind whipping against you, eyes wide and gleaming at the sight of the city approaching in a block chart of colour and twinkles of lights.
It feels colder, but being crushed against his body keeps you warm enough. You’re too exhilarated to feel any change in body temperature.
You brave yourself to look at the sky above sinking into an inky twilight of orange and cerise hues as the sun sets.
“Welcome to my world,” Marcus says, nuzzling into you.
You feel his grip lessen and glance at him with alarm, but the look in his eyes convinces you he’s not going to let you fall.
He simply reaches for your hand with one of his, and you drop subtly beneath him, the belt keeping you close as he takes your other hand and you’re spread out beneath, back against his chest, arms wide as they can go as he holds them out parallel with his.
“Oh shit!” You gasp as he flies you both faster, curving and twisting around the breadth of the skyscrapers; your giddy reflection in the mirrors of the glass windows ara a blur as you pass.
You don’t notice when he lets go of your hands, his arms around your waist instead as your own arms stay out in front of you as you rip through the air.
“Better than the butterflies?” You hear him call.
“So much better than the butterflies!” You laugh, almost hysterically, as he loops back towards the botanical garden, after a few more laps around the city.
As soon as you’re back on the ground in the rose garden, a wave of adrenaline surges through you, and you lunge at him with shaky limbs, almost knocking him off balance.
A melody of gasps and breathy pants puff out of your mouths as you kiss frantically through tinctured groans. The whimper in the back of his throat conveying more than words ever need to about his desire for you in this moment.
Marcus unclips the belts, yanking them off of the both of you with a fumbling fervour, glued at the mouth with you. Clumsy kisses, teeth clashing against one anothers in your mutual haste, as you push his leather jacket down over his shoulders and his fingers eagerly untuck your shirt from your jeans.
“That was incredible,” you gasp into his mouth, unzipping his jeans.
“You’re incredible,” he groans as you take his swollen cock in your hand, squeezing and stroking gently as you lavish kisses over his bronzed neck.
“Oh God,” Marcus moans.
Subtle flicks of your tongue leave him gasping, his hands running through your windswept hair as you make tracks over his chest littered with sparse, greying hairs as you both tumble to the grass and push his t-shirt up further.
Tasting all the way down his sternum and lingering over the soft paunch of his tummy, a place you always nuzzle against, he glances down at you with a bashful smile.
Then a gentle nibble on his hips before your tongue wanders into the small, neatly trimmed thatch of hairs around the back of this thick, weeping cock.
“Oh, please…” he whines biting down on his lip.
You lick up from the base of him, your eyes transfixed on his as he gasps, watching you run up the full length of him to kiss the top of his leaking head gently. You stroke his thighs and he parts them further making room for you as you settle into making out with his cock.
You’ve mastered the art of taking your time with him, enjoying the sounds that flutter out of his mouth as you take him deeper and deeper. Those unbridled whimpers as you suck fill your ears, and you swear you’ve never heard a more perfect sound escape him.
It's when you take him all the way down is when he loses his calm, polite composure.
“Fuck!” Marcus gasps, his head lolling back. “Mm, just like that…”
You smirk to yourself as you feel fingers knotting in your hair and subtly tugging on it.
“Yeah… so fucking good. Oh my God… Yes.” He pants.
You let him have free reign over your body too, as he buries two fingers inside you and licks you to orgasm. His favourite place is between your legs, his second is a garden. When the two collide, it's even better.
“Marcus, please…” you pant, words tumbling from your mouth as your legs shake.
“Tell me, tell me what you want, mi Dulzura.”
“I want you inside me.”
“Right here?” You feel his buzzing fingers plunger deeper, stroking on that spot that makes your thighs shake harder as you feel the tingles ramp up. “You want me filling you up, hmm?”
“Yeah.” You pant as he circles your clit. The heavy throb undeniable on it from the crackling in the tip of his thumb.
“That feel good?” He smirks.
You fist the grass, tearing blades from it that stick to your palms as you grasp his face, fingernails digging into his skull behind his ears as your exhale and puff into his face.
“Oh my God, yes, Marcus!”
His glasses dig into your cheeks as you strain and wail, your breath fogging them up a little.
“Come for me. Come all over my fingers, come on.” He chants watching you, foreheads crushed together as he zaps and strokes harder inside you.
“Come, mi Dulzura. ¡Dios mío, eres tan malditamente hermosa!” (My God, you're so damn beautiful!)
The Spanish whispers send you over the edge. “M-Marcus!” You cry out, squeezing around his fingers as your whole body shakes; tingles flooding all over and making you feel like you’re still flying, all the way up there in the pale lilac sky above you as your eyes roll back into it.
You feel him kissing over your neck, humming softly muffled words of praise and desire into your skin as your slick coats his fingers just like he wanted.
"So fucking perfect for me," Marcus croons.
“I need you.” You whisper.
“God, I need you, too.”
His large, perfectly sculpted nose crushes into the side of your jaw as he fills you; your gasps and whines echoing around the rose garden as he slides into your utterly drenched pussy.
He loves how the stretch of you around his cock brings you to orgasm almost right away; a few gentle thrusts as you adjust to his thickness, and you’re shuddering for him, coating him in your slick before he plunders deeper with that gentle, rhythmic pounding.
He loves how you're completely insatiable for one another, despite the ravishes of age rendering your bones heavier, your paces slower.
Despite it all, you still embark on a journey of a healthy sexual appetite, even if you both have to navigate it with a little more preparedness sometimes; it still rocks your world.
He still has it, and so do you.
“You feel so good,” You whisper to him as he nuzzles into your face. The wind of his hips into yours, hits you at the perfect angle, again and again.
“We feel so good together,” he breathes with a smile. “Fuck, I can’t get enough of you. I don't think I’ll ever stop getting enough of you.”
You kiss him again as he thrusts a little harder, a little faster.
The vulnerabilities of being so exposed, so spread before him like this, revealing all the parts about yourself you’ve scrutinised scathingly in the mirror with abhorrence, fade away.
It’s all those wrinkled, stretched, sagged parts of you that he worships with his crackly fingers and tongue. He spends time appreciating them, fawning over them and lavishing them with the attention they so thoroughly deserve as he rolls with you so you’re on top now.
How you watch as your less-than-perky breasts tumble into his face as he pulls them out of your bra, but he licks and suckles at them as his cock notches against your hole and he groans out as you sit on him fully. Running his tongue around those stiff pebbles unabashed, sucking them into his mouth as you grind on him.
“Come for me…” Marcus pants as he watches that dreamy glaze settle into your eyes as you ride him; that glittery feeling about ready to burst out of your pores as he pushes up with his hips to meet you. “Need to feel you soak me.”
“Oh shit, I’m coming!” You shake on top of him, gasping. Head thrown back as you rock and grinning as you see stars explode across the sky above you.
Yeah. Marcus Moreno has still got it.
“That’s it, like that. Fuck, I’m gonna come too! Fuck! Fuuuck!”
Marcus stiffens, his whole body tenses as his hips jerk, and he fills you up. Floods you until he's dripping warm and pearly out of you, all over his soft belly, as you lean upwards to kiss him some more.
Afterwards, as you both lay in the grass half dressed and satiated from the highs of flying and your lovemaking, Marcus reaches up above you both, plucking a single, red rose from the bush and hands it to you.
You sniff the fragrant petals and smile at him with glittery eyes that wander over his face looking back at you. You run the rose head gently over his cheek and he smiles, and you think you've never seen anything more beautiful in your life.
The way he’s looking at you right now literally renders you mute and unable to breathe.
But he's a tempest under that sweet smile.
He’s felt it for a while now, that tether between you becoming tighter, knotting into something unbreakable and deepening, but he finds himself grappling with a gnawing worry - one that whispers doubts in the quiet moments of contemplation.
He fears the weight of those three simple words that are on the cusp of his tongue: I love you.
It wasn't that he doubted the sincerity of his emotions; rather, it was the fear of the unknown, the uncertainty of how those words might alter the delicate balance of your relationship.
Is it too soon? Is it too much? Is it foolish at his age to even begin to allow himself the same giddy excitement he felt when he was much younger? Would uttering those words irrevocably change the dynamic between you, shifting the fragile equilibrium you had both carefully cultivated?
There's also the fear of rejection, of laying his heart bare only to have it met with silence or crippling hesitation. What if you might not feel the same way yet, or even at all? That his declaration of love might drive a wedge between you rather than bring you closer together causes a reaction within him that makes him physically tense.
“I can feel your heartbeat speeding up,” you say, regarding him quizzically with your hand already resting on his chest. Little fluttery pulses thrum under your fingertips.
Looking at you gazing up at him, a mixture of awe and concern, Marcus knows he has all he’s ever wanted and needed right here in his arms, and he can't deny the truth that simmers beneath the surface of his hesitations.
He loves you with a fierceness that defies logic - defies gravity, even. A love that transcends the boundaries of time and space. And as he grapples with his fears, he knows deep down that the only way forward is to take a leap of faith, to trust in the strength of your forged connection that grows stronger between you every day.
He decides he has to be bold. To be brave.
To be heroic.
“I love you. I-I’m in love with you.” Marcus says softly, wrinkled almond eyes swimming with a mix of euphoria and worry. “Be my Valentine?”
You reach for him, stroking your fingers in the soft silk of his greying jawline.
“También te quiero, Marcus.” You say, before he grazes his lips across yours. (I love you too, Marcus.)
“You learned some Spanish.” He whispers in awe, pulling his smile wide and eyes glistening behind the lenses of his specs.
“I figured I should. After all, I wanna understand all the special things you whisper in my ear.”
“Sólo las cosas más especiales, y sucias, para ti, mi amor…” (Only the most special, and dirty, things for you, my love.)
“Yeah, I’m not fluent.” You chuckle as he kisses you, pulling you over fully onto his body where he crushes you against him.
“Yet,” he smiles, as he sucks your bottom lip into this mouth for a deep kiss.
“So, are we flying home, or…?” You ask.
“You’re an adrenaline junkie now,  hmm?”
“What can I say, you’ve taken me to new heights, Mr Moreno. I might become addicted.”
“I already am.” Marcus says, nuzzling into you.
“We should go soon, someone might find us?”
He shakes his head. “I told you, we have the whole place to ourselves, for a little while longer anyway. What do you want to do?”
You smile at him, devilishly.
“Make me fly again…” You whisper, as you feel his re-hardened cock dipping into your sticky folds.
You push back as he slips fully inside you, hips bucking up to fill you full of him once more, and Marcus does exactly what you ask of him; he lets you fly.
Tumblr media
Thank you so much for enjoying this story! I'd love to know your thoughts and would really appreciate a re-blog too so others can enjoy some Mature!Marcus Moreno. Isn't he just dreamy? Happy Valentine's Day! 🖤😘

I haven't been able to find a good fic to read in about 7 months, I've only read A Distant Hazy Light over and over, but I need a good fic to get this out of my system
Ok, I understand we need to do something about it but first of all @greenfeelings wrote a brilliant series! So, I get it!!!
I read so many wonderful fics this year, here are some of them, maybe they’re for you too:
Is This Flying Or Falling by Holdingontochaos (A/B/O) It’s very sexy and very emotional. It’s also a lot of hurt and comfort. (Harry is traumatized from a past relationship, see the tags for triggers)
Quiet People Have The Loudest Minds by @2tiedships2 (A/B/O) I rediscovered it this year and couldn’t put it down again. It’s so very very sweet and made me feel warm and fuzzy.
Danger I Can’t Hide by CelticSky This is the most epic fic. I was worried it would be too dark and too real for my liking with the WWII setting, but the author finds a great balance to create a very real and life threatening atmosphere without it being too unbearable. Although I cried a lot! It is one of the best fics I’ve ever read. Great writing, amazing pacing, a truly unique love story.
Just Breathe With Me by @she-bear369 The Yoga fic. I couldn’t put this fic down. I loved their chemistry and how it was immediately palpable that there was something between them. Also Yoga instructor Louis is truly inspiring! Both Louis and Harry come with a bit of trauma they need to work through, but I loved to watch them process them and grow to be even better people, for themselves and for each other.
Love Is A Word You Gave It A Name by @larrydoinglaundry (3 part series) This one is pretty popular, so maybe you’ve read them already? If not, you must! I can’t really prepare you for it, other than that Louis and Harry will build a room in your heart and never leave it. I’ve read this one (and the 2nd part) multiple times, just to spend time with them.
Secrets, Santa? by @indiaalphawhiskey This fic is a gift to our fandom. I still don’t understand how we deserve authors like India. I’ve been wheezing and screaming over Harry, he’s absolutely hilarious and I love him to bits. The way Harry stubbornly thirsts after Louis is as silly as it is understandable because DAMN Louis is a CEO and Harry is his assistant and why isn’t this a Hallmark Christmas movie and thank god it isn’t because this one is so much better! I read this multiple times and it’ll be forever my go-to fic to get into the Christmas spirit.
And a little extra rec because you’re into A/B/O:
Behind Smoke Stained Curtains by @jaerie This fic was recommended to me recently and I haven’t read it yet but will before the year ends. So if you’re curious, give this one a go.
You can check my tags as well: larry fanfic rec, abo larry fanfiction or larry fanfiction (which is all of my reblogs for fics)

all you’ve ever wanted was to be loved, like the sort of love that you’d find in hallmark movies and romance novels.
maybe it was because it always seems to work out for the two best friends who realize that they’re in love with each other years down the line, doing the whole running to stop the train scene or booking the first flight to wherever the person was because they couldn’t help not being without them for another second.
yeah well this definitely isn't a movie this is real life. where you're in love with your playboy best friend. who has very clearly not shown any interest in you in the whole six years of your friendship, you should probably stop doting over him.
then again it is quite difficult to do that since you can't help being attracted to him since he's the literal guy version of you, not in looks but in personality you were practically the same person.
sarah and kiera always comforted you whenever you'd see him chasing another girl. even though john and pope never said anything, you could see their obvious side glances at you.
you just couldn't wrap your head around why he couldn't see what was right in front of him, quite literally!
pining over someone that wouldn't even look in your direction romantically doesn't really do wonders for your mental health. that’s how you ended up wrapped up in your covers with a large pizza with sweet home alabama playing in the background. the other pogues were at some party that you weren’t wanting to go to so you opted for the ‘self care’ night you were currently having.
your parents had conveniently gone out for a date night so you could sulk in peace.
ding dong!
“seriously? maybe if i stay quiet they'll just go away–” you think but were cut off by the constant ringing of the door bell.
groaning as you dragged yourself out of bed and downstairs, the doorbell still being rang in a songlike manner, looking through your peephole being met with a soaked jj.
You twisted the key and pulled the door open for him. “what are you doing here jay?”
“nice to see you too, now if..you… don't mind.” he squeezed past you into your home, his clothes still dripping, grabbing a towel for him so he couldn't soak the carpet more than he already had, trying to spare yourself the lecture from your parents later.
“i thought you were at that party?” you questioned him as you watched him drag the towel across his body briefly before ruffling his hair with it.
“oh yeah! there was a noise complaint, cops showed up and they shut it down blah blah blah.” he let the towel hang over his shoulders as he approached you.
“thought i'd come and see my favourite person instead!” he smiled at you, looking up into his eyes. it was always a dangerous game with jj, that intoxicating blue had the tightest hold on you. he didn’t know that all he'd have to do is look at you to get pretty much anything he wanted.
you’d keep that to yourself though.
“yeah, yeah. you're lucky i didn't leave you out in the cold.” you snorted, making your way back up to your room, him trailing close behind you.
“you know the drill, maybank.”
“I know, no outside clothes on the bed,” he whined, standing at the bottom of your bed playfully throwing his head back, impatiently waiting for you to come back with the spare clothes he left with you. It made sense to leave some since he stayed over so often.
with a salute he shut the bathroom door.
Tumblr media
you totally forgot what you were worried about with the way that jj made you laugh as you both joked and stuffed your faces with cold pizza. as the night went on you did manage to finish your movie with protests coming from the sleepy blonde.
not knowing how it happened but the two of you ended up cuddling, him being the big spoon you laying on his splayed out arm, the other thrown over your stomach. hearing his evened out breaths from behind you knowing he was asleep as the credits rolled.
smiling to yourself knowing he would doze off before the movie finishes since he always does.
“it hurts me, just how much i ache for you.” you whisper out loud before drifting to sleep..
Not knowing that he was actually awake beside you.

@ iluvmygf - profiles: non twitter users losers
Tumblr media
description: nishimura riki is a headache to his managers. as much as he loves being an idol and as much as he loves that he gets the freedom to travel. he hates that he can’t show you off. publicly… as himself… so he makes a twitter account called @ iluvmygf at first not a lot of people follow it. it goes unnoticed, for a few weeks. until it doesn’t. his account about you goes viral… and people are nosy as to who loves their gf so much to constantly post about her.
genre: romcom, crack, humor, something fun and lighthearted like a hallmark movie. it’s also set from november-february bc i said so and i want a christmas ark 😋🫶 this is an smau
warnings: cursing, most likely crude humor, probably kms jokes
Tumblr media
THE GROUP OF 87- six people + riki who bonded over video games. y/n is someone they treasure. she gives them their little taste of normal… and they have to help y/n with her hw but that’s besides the point she ends up with a 70% anyways
y/n l/n’s instagram!
Tumblr media
y/n is not an idol at all. she is only friends with idols now because she lost riki at a party one time. a party she wasn’t even supposed to be at but riki made her go. she is the most dorky and goofy person riki has ever met in his life. but she lets him actually be himself. y/n outside of her idol friends is very reserved, she is horrible at any kind of academic, but could tell you about the lore of every fnaf, chilla’s art, or creepypasta anything.
that’s kai and bahiyyih in the ghost costumes btw😋
soul’s(05) instagram account
Tumblr media
soul was y/n’s first friend. he spilled his punch on her at the party where she got lost and he made the fnaf 2 jumpscare noise. y/n and soul instantly hit it off after getting into the lore of the whole five nights at freddy’s franchise… at the party…. in public…. talking about five nights at freddy’s
lily’s (02) instagram account
Tumblr media
lily overheard y/n and soul talking about this game at the party and was instantly intrigued. she ended up introducing herself to them and then asking about it. let’s just say lily ended up binging all of matpat’s videos on the fnaf lore.
bahiyyih’s (04) instagram account
Tumblr media
y/n and bahiyyih met after the party. soul and lily had to go to their respective groups. however, bahiyyih was all alone. and so was y/n. as any girl would do, y/n approached her. ever since they have been inseparable. both feeling like loners sometimes, they understand eachother. y/n and bahiyyih are best friends- platonic soulmates
kai’s (02) instagram account
Tumblr media
y/n met huening kai after she met his sister the best person in the world. they hit it off pretty quickly after y/n was invited to the huening family dinner. kai started talking about how he didn’t understand why on earth anyone would pick link in mariokart and y/n started a WILD debate at the dinner table. it ended up with all the huening siblings + y/n laughing. making y/n an unofficial huening.
beomgyu’s (01) instagram account
Tumblr media
y/n met beomgyu through kai. and it was on a day where she wasn’t expecting to meet anyone new, so her outfit consisted of a hoodie that said “i ❤️ monty” and mickey mouse christmas pants. beomgyu eyed her hoodie and went on a tangent about how monty is a sick sadistic freak who deserved to be put in a trash compactor like in monsters inc.
nishimura riki’s (05) instagram account
Tumblr media
he BARELY uses his instagram ever. riki is a certified twitter user. however…….. y/n does not have twitter…… so he can’t hype up his gf unless he has instagram….

fang now you got me curious... thoughts on ex boyfriend bakugou? 👀
he is a wet cat kdjhsdkjsd
i really think bkg is a "mate for life" kind of a guy. if he's in a serious relationship he does not plan on breaking up ever. very "i'd rather start over with you than anyone else even if we have to do it 100 times". so if you're breaking up - the chances the break up isn't a hot emotional mess is slim to none
and the chances that bkg was the one to initiate is fucking zero. once you're in the relationship you're in it, and while he's not gonna stop you from backing out, you're basically it for him. like. forever. he has a hard job and love was alr the bottom of his priority list.
to be honest i think he's a little bit more of a soggy guy than we'd like to believe. everyone thinks he's going to be really...? angry about the situation. but he's actually just. alarmingly sad. there's something really hollow about him and he's still very very kind to you and very amicable but he always sort of looks like he's in pain. he speaks much more gently and is way less playfully gruff in a way that's very gutting.
even once he gets over that, he doesn't know how to butt out of your life. he wants too so much. he really does but he can't. you became his person so long ago and now what? you want him to pretend that's not true?
bkg will respect ur boundaries if you enforce them. and he certainly won't chase after you if he feels like you don't want him anymore.
it's not him who chases after you but his friends dfkjkfhs. bkg is a person who by all intents and purposes - is defined by the relationships he's made. and his friends know more intimately than you ever will, how much you mean to him. they're also ceo of meddling lmao so just. one after the other you get messages like hey....... and its so insane
they all meddle trying to get you two fall back in love like a shitty hallmark movie. you practically never see bkg cry, but once the two of you are alone in a room and you ask if he really misses you, he sort of turns his head and says fucking obviously - all while sniffling a bit. and it just sort of strikes you that maybe it's worth it trying to work it out one more time
i would love to write him in a hot sexy way but i actually think he gets DEEPLY pathetic as an ex in a very not fun way KJSDHKJF. our emotionally well-adjusted but ultimately riddled with attachment issues king.

so here's something I'm curious about: God's Not Dead. The films, not the statement itself.
I first saw the first film when I was younger and I hadn't yet embarked on my journey on examining just what i was taught and what I truly believed, but I remember finding the film a little uncomfortable.
I saw the second film and Ive never watched the third, and I think what I really don't like the first film is how it bashes other people's walks of life (Muslim father, three brands of athiests, and how it continues the myth that Christians in The United States are being Persecuted for their Faith Right Now.
Oh yeah and how the plots are really really dumb too, since the first film centers around a philosophy class with a professor that is skipping a very important part of most College degrees and the second takes place in a Bible Belt State with a high school teacher answering a students question comparing Marting Luther King Jr to Jesus's Sermon on the Mount and being taken to court over it.
I was twelve or so when I saw that movie and I honestly was not convinced by the film That God's Not Dead (in terms of the actual arguments in the class scenes.
The specific Denomination that I grew up with (Adventist) focuses a LOT™ on the end times so I do know about the future persecution thing well but like, I don't think we're there yet.
Anyway if you don't know those movies, feel free to ignore this ask but I'm genuinely curious about your thoughts on them, wether positive or negative or neutral
Hi! I saw the first God’s Not Dead in theaters. Never re-watched it. Did not see the sequels.
The good thing about God’s Not Dead is that people worked hard to make something that might shine a counter-cultural light on the truth that the God of the Bible exists. Stories that try to point to truth are on the right track, baseline.
The bad thing about God’s Not Dead is that it took things that are real, and genuine, and true…and it made them feel fake. By telling the story with strange conclusions and weird-triumph moments.
The thesis of the movie, that God is not dead, is something that only non-Christians would need to be convinced of. But the movie is clearly made for Christians. So. Yeah, it’s uncomfortable.
But you shouldn’t find every experience that the movie tries to portray uncomfortable because they don’t happen. You should find it uncomfortable because they don’t happen in that cheesy, Hallmark-grade way.
When a student stands up to their professor and says, “no, I’m not going to go along with this, and this is super weird that you’re trying to draw this line about the specific Christian God,” guess what? The whole classroom doesn’t usually get up and agree with you. They normally barely react. So even though some professors do put their foot down and try to mock or “kill” God in the classroom, and some students do push back, no. It doesn’t normally happen in that victorious way.
Just like how some young Muslim converts to Christianity genuinely are treated poorly by their families, or their community, not just in America, but absolutely, certainly around the world. Absolutely, certainly. I literally can think of not one, but two examples I’ve recently heard of, directly, from people I know.
Like I said, the events and life-experiences that the first God’s Not Dead movie are based on do technically happen all the time in America, and the West, and the world in general. They just don’t normally come with crowd-agreement, impactful music, wise one-liners, and celebrity appearances. The worst thing that the God’s Not Dead movie does is show you hints of things that are real, and really happen in real life, but cheeseball way it shows you those things, and the caricatures it turns people into, makes the real thing look fake.
As far as “the myth that Christians are Persecuted Right Now in America” goes…you just have to decide what you mean by “persecuted.”
If you mean, are we getting our heads run over by cement mixers, or dragged out of our homes and imprisoned for studying or even owning a Bible, or kidnapped by hired hitmen once our families find out we’re Christians, like they are in Yemen or Africa or basically anywhere outside the West…no. No, we’re not facing persecution like that. We’re not persecuted.
But if you mean, in the context of this conversation, that “atheists and professors and people in the professional sector of our education systems don’t have a weirdly specific bone to pick with Christians,”then you’re wrong. They do. They have. For a long time.
My second semester in college, in my plain old World History class, the Professor legitimately opened his class by explaining to us students that if we wanted, he would allow us to replace our midterm and our final exams with book reports as long as we read two specific books he assigned us. One was a book about how Jesus of Nazareth was not the Messiah and the Bible was false. The other book was a fictional short novel with heavy themes criticizing specifically Christian religion. Those were the two books he picked for his students to skip taking the midterm and the final, if only they would read those two books. And those were the ones he chose.
Not only that, but literally in the first class, I remember being stunned when he flippantly opened his summary of the 18th century by saying, “If anyone ever tells you you should check out the God of the Bible, and follow him, laugh in their face. Don’t do it. He is the kind of God who likes to make His people promises and then strand them in the desert for forty years!” First class. Out the gate. Like it was a joke.
It’s not a joke. Dude just openly mocked two out of the three major world religions that people identify with across the globe. Explain to me how telling someone never to convert to a specific religion and to mock it instead is anything other than “discrimination?”
Can you imagine a Professor getting up in front of a class and saying, “if anyone ever tells you that you should check out Allah ] and follow him, convert to Islam, laugh in their face! And here’s one short novel and one historically inaccurate essay criticizing Allah and making fun of Islam; if you’ll read these, tell you what, I’ll let you skip the two most stressful exams of the semester!”
No, of course you can’t imagine that. A Professor who did that about any other religion, creed, or god would be fired or taken to court or penalized or dragged on social media, at least. But the only student in the whole room who batted an eye when he said that about the Christian God was me. The only one who said anything was me. And it wasn’t a big stand up, dramatic declaration. Momentous music didn’t play in the background. My friends and classmates didn’t’] gasp or support me or stand up and agree with me.
It was just me raising my hand and saying in a shaky voice with a red face, after the sixth time he’d randomly deviated from talking about the Roman plumbing system to describe how the Apostle Paul and the other Apostles supposedly disagreed about who Jesus was (big lie, not true at all, but often used to “discredit” the Bible) to say, “sir, that’s not true. It doesn’t make sense. There’s a verse in the Bible where the Apostle Peter literally tells the church that the Apostle Paul’s words are directly from God.” And then he was like, “okay, I’m going to move on.”
I mean I just felt kind of stupid because the whole class was confused about the interaction; nobody was treating it like it was as important as me or the professor was, so it felt awkward to “make a stand.” But rest assured, all over the freakin’ country, people are excited to use up way too much of their brain power and emotional energy mocking, disparaging, and trying to discredit the God of the Bible and Christianity. They don’t believe in Him, but they’re so he’ll-bent on making sure nobody else does either?? Like, I don’t believe in Big Foot, but I’m not walking around trying to barter my students into reading anti-Big Foot books by giving them a pass on their midterms. But that’s how lots and lots of “athiests” treat the specific Christian God.
That’s not new. It’s not dramatic. It’s not persecution. It’s alllll part of the same old song and dance.
But it is real. The worst thing about God’s Not Dead is it made it feel fake and caricature, when it happens all the time and matters 🤷‍♀️ Anyway. Hope that answered your question.

Flamin' Not
Eva Longoria directed a movie about Flamin' Hot Cheetos. It is supposed to depict a real life Latino rags-to-riches story.
It's about a poor Mexican-American, Richard Montañez, who got a job as a janitor in a Frito-Lay factory and saved it from shutting down by inventing the "Flamin' Hot" line of products.
It was not terrible. Though it came very close to feeling like a Hallmark movie. But as I was watching it, the story felt very formulaic and a bit too... feel good. Like a bullshit fish story an uncle might tell you in order to seem cool. True stories usually aren't quite so tidy and trope-tastic.
Reality usually has some weirdness that is very difficult to capture when writing fiction. Like, in the movie about Reality Winner where they used a real life transcript, there were things a writer could never imagine. In one scene a random FBI dude opens the door and says, "Is this a room?"
So I was real suspicious there could be some Flamin' Hot nonsense in this movie. I figured they just took some dramatic license as many "based on a true story" movies do. I decided to look up the real life Richard and see how close his actual story was compared to the movie.
Turns out... it was a complete work of fiction.
He made it all up.
The only part that was true... he was a janitor at Frito-Lay and eventually got promoted to their Hispanic marketing department.
After he left the company he just started telling people he invented Flamin' Hot. And since the internet wasn't very robust yet, people were just like, "Yeah, okay. Neat."
He came up with an entire narrative with backstory and side characters and humorous anecdotes and a thrilling climax where his neighborhood drug dealers took samples to the street for some guerilla marketing to spread the word about spicy Cheetos--saving an entire factory and hundreds of jobs.
And in the less cynical 1990s, people just accepted it as the truth.
Companies would hire him to give motivational speeches. Eventually he wrote a book about his fake story. And he tours around the country telling his uplifting story of spice and puffed cornmeal.
And Frito-Lay just kinda... let him.
I think they liked his story more than the one where a bunch of food nerds created spicy Cheetos in a lab in the Midwest. He was giving them free marketing. He gave their Flamin' products street cred in Latin communities.
But when journalists finally got around to fact checking his story, Frito-Lay very casually told them "None of our records show that Richard Montañez was involved in any capacity in the Flamin’ Hot."
It seems their line was they would let him lie without consequence, but they weren't going to lie for him.
I have no idea what to think about this. I watched an entire movie about fucking Cheetos thinking it was a true story.
Part of me appreciates the hustle. He seems like an okay person. Stayed faithful to his wife for decades, speaks of her with love, and took good care of his kids. He inspires his community and is involved in philanthropy. And he made bank by tricking a bunch of white folks into hiring the Flamin' Hot dude to give speeches to motivate their employees.
Seems like a harmless enough grift. I don't know.

crying, laughing, loving, lying - australian merlot
pairing: roman reigns x angel (black oc) warning: no warnings. first date fluff. this is an alternate universe work of fiction, so no wrestling will be mentioned. authors note: this will hopefully, be followed by other pieces that show the progression of angel and romans relationship. get ready for hallmark movie realness. music inspo: crying, laughing, loving, lying by labi siffre word count: 3100
Tumblr media
some restaurants are made for first dates. for habitual blind daters too skittish to reach beyond that hectic first circle of hell limbo called first base. the 'will it now? won't it finally?', of it all. this ceaseless punishment of lovelessness. and angel thinks that it's all more shitty than bullshit anyways. love is simply an accompaniment and not the whole damn tune. a cappella's are more fascinating anyways. love is more of an accessory. something like bracelets or anklets. a thing to put on that dresses up life a little more prettily. but there is a trouble to it. the labor of coordination far less rewarding than it's worth. and what of the fruitlessness? the defilement and scarcity that rottens the garden. a few ruined by many and now she's at her tenth blind date since the new year, already familiar with the taste of fucking bile.
"you need someone".
but she doesn't. because need implies the failure of survival without it and if after every date her stomach churns—with a fear that she refuses to acknowledge—then that wasn't something she wanted anyways. definitely not something she needed.
but here, amongst white table cloth, she waits. 7:39 pm. slightly too early to be upset because he, whoever he is, isn't late yet. but she wishes very openly that he will be. it'd just be a strike against him. something that eases the guilt of ghosting him when he inevitably asks for another date. and please don't mistake the self assuredness for a too big ego, she just knows these things. it's based all on common occurrence. they bring roses because "all women love roses", dragging their feet in eased and so damn smiley despite being five, ten or even fifteen minutes late and it absolutely grinds her fucking gears. cleanliness is next to godliness but fuck it punctuality is too. he will come with a rose and he will be late and he will ramble about himself and he will stare at her cleavage and then imply that him paying the bill grants access to spreading her open and then the inevitable lump of bile.
it was a song she'd heard and a dance done a thousand times and her head hurt from the thundering bass and her feet from trying to keep pace with such terrible rhythm.
angel wants to leave. wants to finally grant herself the relief of no guilt by stepping away before the burden of ridding her tongue of the bile.
but she can't, because he's here now. sitting down with no rose.
what the hell?
and he is beautiful. a huge mountain of a man. herculean with a directness to his eyes that makes it appear as though he is staring through her skin and into deeper, more vulnerable parts. heat scorching fast over nerves and bones till she grows warm and its concerning. because angel has gone on first dates with beautiful men before. sat with them, spoken to and at them, laughed with and at them, dined with them, but for some gut churning reason, this, feels different. the temperature of the atmosphere is warm. the life in his eyes, inviting.
and for the love of God he doesn't have a rose and it makes angel laugh. small and to herself.
he sits. confused and amused in that awkward way. where the idea of a joke itself makes you laugh, not privy to hooks, punchlines, sinkers and the like.
and for the first time in a myriad of failed dates, angel is taken by his voice. a dark symphony. pitch low and smooth. strong and double bass like.
"can i get in on the joke?"
she wants to shrivel into and like a ball. because it wasn't necessarily funny. it was more so the absurdity of the situation. of course after much complaining and internal deliberation she would be sent someone that would stick her foot in her mouth. at least in regards to the romantic gesture of giving roses.
her throat clears. "sorry, it's just...it's kinda weird. it's nothing".
he squints and it feels like a hole is tearing through her skin. peeling away till its settling warm into veins.
"if you leave me in suspense i'm gonna make you feel like shit about it".
"is that a threat?"
"more like a spoiler".
and now the laugh is bright and clear. nothing hidden and inward about it. and he loves the sound. wouldn't mind if he could hear it a few more times tonight. her sarcasm more laden in her words than the surprise of them.
"because you've never practiced that before".
"in a mirror once or twice, but i got you all giggly so tell me whats funny".
angel sighs. "you didn't bring a rose and for whatever reason, men show up to first dates with roses", waving her fingers away to express the un-seriousness of her amusement. "it's just a thing".
"like... the bachelor".
"yeah", snorting. "sure, like the bachelor".
his fingers, long and thick and just downright massive, rub into his beard. mulling over her words with a bout of sincerity that she doesn't think she's seen in a while. like some actual consideration, and not a half-assed pulling together of thoughts into words to make conversation for the sake of filling in the silence.
"never really approached it like that. it seems more like a burden than anything y'know?", his eyes slipping over the bottle of wine you ordered before he showed, before its doing the same to your face. "flowers do the dying thing and then what? just something else to throw away. feels odd".
"i mean, theres ways to preserve them". because of fucking course she would say this, after making a fuss about always getting flowers. but it was just that weird thing, trying to see the upside in a situation. to heal the downtrodden idealism of it all. "but i agree with you".
"sounds like you want a rose".
"i don't. i just-...". she sighs. flustered. "can we start over".
and he smiles. at her awkwardness and her eyes and the crinkle in her brows as she gathers herself.
"of course".
eyeing the bottle of wine again, his hand reaches out to you.
"roman".
and it fits. encapsulates his everything. name and the air of him reminiscent of old statues built with marble and brow sweating patience. an easy demeanor inherited from stoic warriors of old. fine silk looking hair and a jaw she's sure she can cut against if not for the thickness of his beard.
she takes his hand and shakes. thumb over his veins and wrapped up in the strength of his palm.
"angel".
"are you?"
they both smile. teasing eyes and a playful air.
"sometimes".
he hums short. the song of it uprooted from his chest. hand slipping away from hers but the impression of it leaves a stain on her skin. where his fingers squeezed in the midst of a mere cordial shaking. and his eyes are not shy. taking hers to hold steady and uncompromising. and never has a man held her gaze so well, not since-
"you been here before?"
and it is only the shame of so many dates in such a short amount of time that leaves her tongue dry and her thoughts partial to lying. "uhh", her eyes sweeping over the menu. "no. i haven't".
"any allergies?"
"used to be pescatarian a while back but i stopped. why?"
"i don't want you to surprise me with a closed airways cause i recced you something with peanut oil".
"you've been here before?"
"a few times".
"on dates". more like a statement than a question.
he's busy looking over the menu, like he's seeing it for the first time. "dates, work stuff, a night out. it's a cool spot. convenient". he takes the wine bottle, opening it to pour. humming in delight as he nose takes to smell. "you've been here before though".
"what?"
angels heart sinking way down till it's falling steady out of her chest cavity and into her stomach. taking something similar to a rolling tumble as it goes and it feels devastatingly awful. being caught in a lie has never been a smooth easy ordeal and the urge to get up and leave runs rife under her skin. prickling in a manner that taunts her till her cheeks grow hot white. she wants to hide and suffer in the silence of her own shame. and he's a complete asshole about it, because he lets her simmer into a scorched heat, struck and wordless as a grin plays through his lips. picking up the wine bottle once more. his fingers wrapping about it easy and familiar.
"when i said your last name for the reservation, the waiter called you by your first. which means she knows you, because you've been here a few times". his lips smiling. much more amused than worked up by your little white lie. sipping the wine to taste again. "that and the wine. first-timers spend too much on wine. the merlot here is decent enough".
a forced chuckle toughens up. angel sooting the bridge of her nose with a thumb. un-fucking-believable. "this is fucking embarrassing".
"it's good wine though. cheap as shit but it's pretty good".
"look", she starts. a deep sigh before she makes the effort to meet him. his brown eyes soft still. void of scrutiny. amusement waning but still nothing of judgement. and the niceties unnerved angel. most men didn't take too kind to lies in such a formally romantic setting. it made for awfully fierce energy that led to a frigidness she hated to maneuver. not that she was a habitual liar, but still, it worried her. "i didn't mean to lie... well... i did but-"
"it's alright. i get it. i used to be the same way".
"a liar?"
"embarrassed".
and she knew exactly what he meant without him having to say it. because this probably wasn't his first date of the new year either. the wait staff were probably familiar with him too. his familiarity with the taste of the restaurants stock of merlot making perfect sense. he'd probably, once upon a time, given his fair share of roses. the what do you do for work spiel and the sometimes awkward dance of wanting more after the first date and wrongly reading what he thought were obvious suggestions that a woman wanted him physically. and sometimes thats all they wanted, or at least that's what angel thinks, because some of her dates just wanted sex. no strings or some strings and then it got tangled and messy. always too damn messy. but he was over the shame of cycling through to find "the one". angel had yet to get there.
she clears her throat. thumbs twiddling together. apologetic as she looks to him. "i'm sorry anyways".
roman's silence is heavy. his eyes slipping over her face. noting the details that exist in their guilt. but still even in this, angel is a beautiful woman. thick lashes and slightly hooded eyes. cheeks high and plump. her lips full and surely kissable. especially when she takes them between her teeth in what he's sure to be her nerves overworking themselves with all his staring and his wordlessness. his smile warm and easy again, turning back to the menu. he's had enough of making her feel like shit anyways, for it dampened the mood far too much and he rather you smile again and for as long as they date lasts.
"forgiven and forgotten. the real litmus test is how you take your steak".
"who said i wanted steak".
"one, you owe me for lying".
she gasps. lips pulling up and her knee knocking softly into his. "you said forgiven and forgotten".
"and two", he continues, chuckling. "you said you were pescatarian, meaning you gave it up cause you realized that grass ain't green".
"why are you reading me so well right now, this is crazy".
"wouldn't be good at what i do if i couldn't".
her mouth purses over the wine glass to sip at the sweetness of the merlot, waiting for him to continue. and when he doesn't she finds herself more interested in hearing a man talk than she ever has in all her time of dating.
"which is?"
"i teach and coach".
"okay", her eyes play and rolling. "don't leave me in suspense. be more specific".
and here the fierceness of his features round out to a softness. but surely it cant be those few sips of wine, suddenly freeing up the tight collection of his resolve. the slightest dusting of pink at his cheeks and his mouth smiling smaller. humility bracing him harshly just before her. it was more obvious to her now, he hates talking about himself.
"sports history and college football", barely meeting her eyes. the menu suddenly becoming so very important to him. his throat clearing as his palm reaches to rub up against the thick hair of his beard. " 'm not a head coach or anything, just for the defensive line but its...", and finally he looks to her again. "it's cool".
"don't say just like that. it down plays your passion. i like passion".
the sincerity melting a warmth into him. the air feeling less suffocating for the both of them now as they share a smile.
and the dinner goes smoother than angel had expected. the food cooked immaculately  and the wine warming her belly. his passionate talks soothing to her ears and his jokes funnier. the knock of his long legs turning into less of an accident and more of a playful teasing. and by the end of their steaks they're both closer than they started, leaning in to hear more of each others voices. his freckles an endearing scatter against his cheeks. the slick lick of his lips as he talks catching her eyes and by the end of her wine glass she comes to the arresting realization that he's doing it on purpose. slowly but surely ingratiating himself through small touches and that hostage holding stare.
angel, afraid now, feels a disappointment weighing in her. the ending of it all , this little world of quickly built intimacy, nearing quicker than she realized. both of them perusing through the dessert menu. more than slowly to stretch the time.
"you a dessert guy?"
he sets down the menu. her voice bringing him in again. "fuck yeah i'm a dessert guy. they make a bomb ass bread pudding here. best i've had".
and maybe her eyes are suggestive. and maybe they sharpen to pierce through him a little more fiercely and maybe her knee knocks into his when her lips part to speak. but angel does well about pleading the fifth, even with herself.
her eyes looking up through her lashes as she flits them from the menu to him. and she can track the trailing of his gaze straight to her plump lips. "you've never had mine".
"is that an invitation to taste test?"
a shiver breaks over her skin. an undulating warmth at her cheeks. she pushes her menu to the side.
"y'know pastry emporium? the shop on 4th and everling?"
roman's brows jump in an instant, before they pull together. the sudden realization exciting his nerves.
"thats yours?"
"half of it. i co-own".
"i'm stoppin' by there all the time and i've never seen you".
and the tiny world they live in has just become slightly smaller. their existences dancing on the edges of one another for who knows how long before this faithful night of teasing smiles and blood sweetening sips of australian wine.
"i don't mesh too well with the front of house stuff". her knee taking a soft slow lean into his. and maybe the styling and placement of the tables and chairs are purposeful. for moments like these. "but i can make an exception".
"you better". his lips spreading wide and his smile bright. nothing bashful left in his expression as its overtaken by the prospect of seeing you again. "cause you owe me a taste test".
and for once there is no threat of bile to stain her throat, or even the cringing anticipation thereof. and when they're both finally, hesitantly ready for the bill, he takes the responsibility without words. fitting his card into the leather book. appreciation swimming to settle gently in her belly along with the sweet merlot. he tips well too, and his fingers catch soft against her palm, leading her out of the restaurant and into the balmy night spring air. the urge to stick to him creeping in her skin. but the same seems to exist for him because he stands just before her, eyes circling the city, searching and thinking, before they find her face. a small smile on her lips as she looks to him expectantly. his touch grows firmer, as if he's just come to the end of a pending decision. fully taking her hand as he begins to step.
"walk with me". but theres no inflection that implies a question. more of a statement that softly wills her into following.
his hand as warm as his smile and gentle even in its size. he strolls easy too, to help her keep up with the wide steps he takes.
but even beyond the easy going tenderness of him, angel has never felt such a stillness in her nerves before. the city she's seen a thousand times suddenly appearing brighter and less overwhelming. the usual droning no longer a harsh symphony. the pitch and pace less grating. and maybe it's silly, because he's, despite his teasings and his suggestive eyes and interesting conversation, still a stranger. still a man with a world of a life she knows so little about. filled with hopes and dreams and secrets. but that feeling nags still. nestles deep under her skin as it attempts to force out the hesitancies.
roman leads her to the front of a flower shop and her eyes play at rolling.
she tries to pull him away from the entrance. "we spoke about this".
"we did".
his smiling melting her resolve to mush. so bright and unapologetic in how it spreads. he takes her hand tightly, pulling her into the shop.
he orders one rose exactly. giving it to her after he's paid for it.
"why?", she asks. trying to fight the rising heat in her cheeks.
"because i think deep down, you want it. you just don't want it to feel like an obligation. and this right here is all off the cuff. im sure of that”.
and angel's belly flutters. that cliche appearance of butterfly's.

Love Is A Losing Game
Imagine
Quinn Hughes x Latina!Reader
Synop: y/n has a crush on Quinn for months now and she finally sees a chance to tell him at a holiday party.
cw: mentions of getting high, mentions of drinking, cussing, sad unrequited love, angst + smidge of fluff ig
a/n: This is my failed attempt at writing pure angst. Brock x reader if you read in between the lines. quinn's gf in this story is someone I made up. Lowkey rushed and quick
+
"Are you absolutely sure he doesn't like you?"
Your friend from your hometown had came to visit you in Vancouver. She decided the first night she was going to spend here was to get high and try face masks.
"Well I'm not 100% sure, but realistically no, he doesn't see me that way."
Her visitation couldn't have come any sooner, you needed to talk about your Quinn problems with her in person.
"Then I don't I like him already." she said
"Quinn is a nice and sweet guy, he's just never made a move or hinted that he likes me more than a friend." you adjusted your mask, "actually I don't even think we are that close of friends."
"That sucks." she leaned back into her seat on the couch
"Thanks for the help." you scoffed at her calmness
"Well you can confess to him and it could or could not go well. It's your life."
"A complicated life." you finished what she wanted to say. She gave you a sad smile through her white face mask.
"You're phone is ringing. Here, it's Brock" she passed you your phone, "Hey isn't Brock the cute blonde one?" you gave her a quizzing, "I guess." you whispered before picking up the call
"Hey B"
"Hey y/n/n, are you busy this Saturday?"
Brock is the one who introduced you to Quinn. Well the team and of course Quinn was there. Brock became a close friend when you first moved to Van.
"Maybe, my friend visited from y/ht/n this week and we might have plans, why?"
"There's this holiday party one of the guys is hosting, it's a family and friends thing. You're invited" he said of the other line
"Uh give me a sec" you turned to your friend to ask her if she was okay with this party, she mouthed "let's go"
"Can my friend come along?"
"Yeah sure"
"Okay cool just tell me when and where"
"Will do, goodnight y/n/n."
"Goodnight B."
Your friend ripped her face mask off as got all excited, "A holiday party? Are you kidding?"
"No?"
"Oh my god, do you know what this means?"
"That it's a holiday party." you stated falty.
"Yes and there will me a mistletoe. You can make your move on Quintin!"
"First, don't call him that it sounds weird. Second, I'm not going to my boldly confess my feelings by kissing him under the mistletoe.”
“You have no idea, it could be a scene from a Christmas Hallmark movie!”
“Oh how I wish my love life was like a Hallmark movie, but no.”
++
When you first met Quinn, he was shy and self reserved which made your heart fall faster for him. You didn’t know why your type was guys like Quinn, but it was rare to see them be as kind as him.
For months you kept this crush a secret from everyone besides your friend. Even Brock, who would have just teased you. But you figured it had been long enough to not do anything. Maybe this party could finally be it, that is if he’s even there.
++
“Brock is this y/f/n, y/f/n this is Brock.” You introduce two of your great friends to each other when you stepped into the casual party.
They said hi to each other, while your friend had too bright of a smile on her face for staring at a man she’d just met.
“You dress nice” you complimented Brock’s button down and slick back hair that was already coming undone
“Thanks, you look great too.” To be honest, you didn’t feel that good about your appearance but y/f/n tried to convince you otherwise.
“There’s appetizers and food in the kitchen if y’all are hungry” he offered to take you and y/f/n’s coats and led the way to the kitchen.
It was stilly pretty early and you didn’t want to ask Brock if Quinn was here so you made rounds introducing your friend to the people you knew.
She would leave you to yourself though an hour into the night. You were getting antsy if Quinn was going to show up at all, so you decided to look for your friend. She was sitting on the couch with Brock by the fireplace, all smiley and giggly.
If anything, you thought, she was having a scene from a Hallmark movie.
It was too cold outside to get away from the social gathering so you found a closed off dinning room to sit in silence in.
It was unnerving to sit alone in silence when across a door there were people talking and Christmas music playing.
Y/f/n was wrong. Tonight was not a Hallmark movie, it’s a very depressing one.
“Oh hey, I didn’t expect to see you here”
You turned to the door and saw Quinn, also dressed nice in a black button down.
“Brock invited me” you answered his statement
“Oh I mean in this room. I assumed you would be at the party. Why are hanging out in here?” He walked towards you and pulled out a chair right next to you.
“So much talking that I would rather not do” you laugh nervously and he laughed too, rarely showing that smile of his.
“Yeah I get that. I just got here and immediately tried to hide.” Your heart skipped as you read into your common personalities but you sighed looking away from him.
“What’s up?” He asked taking notice of your sad demeanor
You couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, “just boy problems, very boring stuff.” you joke
“Well I’m not that good at advice but I could listen for the drama” he jokes too making you laugh
“There’s this guy, that I like but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t like me back. But I don’t know for sure or anything so I’m thinking I should just tell him but if I did and he said he doesn’t feel the same way then I would feel like an idiot.” you confessed inconspicuously as possible.
“Is he someone on the team?” He asked too calmly
“No he’s from my work.” you tried to lie as smooth as possible and luckily it went unnoticed
“Well personally I wouldn’t tell him” you turned to look at him, “I wouldn’t tell a girl I liked her if I knew for sure she didn’t like me. The fear of being rejected is very real and it hurts. But I also think any guy would be dumb to not like you.”
You felt your face start to warm up and hoped it didn’t show, “You’re a good friend, Quinn” You said with a small smile
“Thanks” he whispered “I try.” he said before making you laugh again
“What hell are you guys doing in here? It’s a party, you guys need to mingle and talk with people!” Brock’s loud voice echoes in the dinning room as his eyes look between the both of you.
“We’re not very mingling type of people.” You joke to your friend who looks like he has had a couple drinks now
“No duh. Huggy I need your help in the kitchen man.”
Quinn got out of his chair and turned to you, “I’ll see you around tonight” he says with a soft smile before being manhandled by the blonde.
You sat in the dinning room for a couple more minutes thinking about what Quinn said. Yes, rejection sucks but what he said about a guy being dumb to not like you. Was he hinting at himself?
+
You looked around the big house to find y/f/n again to tell her what happened but she was nowhere to be seen. So you found Brock instead,
“Hey B have you seen y/f/n?”
“Who?” Yeah he was a bit drunk.
“My friend who I came here with.”
“Oh yeah her, yeah no clue. I was talking to her on the couch earlier, she’s very flirty” He slurred
“Yeah that’s her, sorry about that.” you apologized for your friends bold behavior and left to circle the house again to find her.
You finally see her by the base of the staircase to the side. You smile as you’re about to run and tell her everything except when you saw Quinn on the base of the stairs with a girl, standing very close to the girl.
You watch them smile at each other. How his head hangs when he blushes and her arms wrapped around his neck. Your eyes follow hers and she looks above them, a mistletoe. Your smile drops and your body freezes as you see them smile and lean in for a kiss.
“PDA am I right? Disgusting.” Brock who had followed you from before saw the whole thing unfold. Even though your senses were going haywire you tried to keep calm
“Yeah, gross.” you whispered, “who’s she?” you tried to ask without it sounding like you were on the verge of tears
“Quinn’s girlfriend I guess” you felt your heart ache and a lump start to form in your throat, “oh, you’ve never seen her before?” you choke out
“Nah, I think this is their first public appearance.” Brock turned to look at you, even though he was inebriated he would always remember how glossy your eyes looked in that moment.
Your eyes were glued on the couple. Your friend was right, a scene from a Hallmark movie did happen tonight. It just didn’t involve you.

First time with Tom Blyth. (Smut)
Wc: 3,723
Summary: Reader loses her virginity to Tom, and he makes it perfect.
Being Tom Blyth's controversially young girlfriend has its ups and downs. Most of the downs revolve around the hate I get, But Tom always manages to make the hate disappear when I am with him.
I'm newly 20 years old. Tom being almost 29 is a big difference in our age. Neither of us mind though.
Me being newly 20, have only had one real relationship before Tom, which just so happened to be one of the worst experiences of my life. I was always afraid of relationships after, but Tom being the gentleman he is, made me super comfortable around him, which made me appreciate him so much more.
The guy I was with before always made me feel uncomfortable, and pressured. Which gave me a lot of anxiety throughout our relationship. The one thing I never gave to him was my virginity.
Yes, I'm 20 years old and still a virgin. I have never found a person I trust enough to give myself to in that way. I'm not naive, I know pretty much everything, I just have never had the chance to actually do it, especially with someone I trust.
I hate being that cheesy person that says I've finally met the person I trust enough, but that is exactly it. Tom is the most caring, considerate, loving man I have ever met. If there is anyone I trust enough to do that with, it's him.
I haven't told him I'm a virgin. I probably should have by now, especially considering we have been dating for 5 months. The topic only came up once, and I didn't say it. After that I haven't really had the chance to say it considering i'm not just going to blurt it out of nowhere.
The only reason i'm thinking about this so much is because lately I've been getting more and more ready to take that step with him. I am extremely attracted to him, I trust him with my life, I'm just scared to do it. Not for any particular reason, just the fact that it's a huge deal to me.
Tonight I am spending the night at Tom's place. My goal for tonight is to at least tell him I'm a virgin, But I think I'm ready. Best case scenario, we have sex. And yes, that is why I spent the last 20 minutes shaving every part of my body.
When I arrive at Tom's place, we have dinner together, and go for a walk around central park, which is just down the street. When we get back, we both go to get changed. I had this plan of coming out of the bathroom in a robe with lingerie underneath, like a cheesy scene before bed in a hallmark movie. But now that I'm in the midst of putting it on, the nerves come through.
I tell myself that I will go out there, and talk to him. If things go well, I'll take the robe off. If need be, I can just come back in here and change. And even if I tell him, there is no guarantee that we will have sex tonight anyways.
I stand in front of the mirror in my fuzzy white robe, with a sexy black teddy one piece underneath, that I bought specifically for tonight. I work up enough courage to go out there, so I open the door and see Tom sitting on the bed, underneath the covers, finding something for us to watch on the t.v.
He looks over to me, and smiles. "Were you wanting to have a shower?"
I look confused for a second, then realise he must be confused as to why I have a robe on. "No, I just-," I look to the ground, trying to find my words. "Can we talk?"
He immediately puts the remote down, and his attention is one hundred percent on me. "Of course, are you okay?"
I go to sit on the bed with him, not missing the way his eyes never leave mine, even as I look down to the bed while sitting down. "I'm fine, I just wanted to talk about something."
His hand goes to my knee, and rubs small comforting circles on top of it. "I don't really know how to explain this to you without just spitting it out." I explain.
"That's okay, baby. You can talk to me about anything," He does his best to comfort me.
I fidget with my hands, working up the courage to tell him. "I ummm-, I wanna do something but I'm scared to tell you, even though I shouldn't be. Well i'm not scared to tell you about that thing, but in order to tell you about that thing, I need to tell you about something else first. And that's what I'm scared to tell you," My rant makes him smile.
He sits up and moves closer to me, taking my hands in his to stop me from picking at my nails. "Tell me why you're scared to tell me," he asks.
The question makes me stop and think for a second. "Because It's not something i'm proud of, or like to share with people."
He brings my hand to his mouth and places a soft kiss to the top of it. "What can I do to make you more comfortable?"
"Ummm-, just please don't make a big deal about it when I tell you." I say to him in a desperate voice.
"Of course, Love," He continues rubbing his thumb along the top of my hand.
I take a deep breath and try to explain without freaking out. "I've never had sex before."
He immediately softens. "Baby that's okay, It's nothing to be ashamed about. Is that why you were so scared to tell me, because you've been wanting to?"
"Yea," I whisper while biting my lip, trying to prevent my face from reddening.
"Love, that's okay, please don't ever be scared to tell me when you are feeling like that. Come here," He sits up and goes to cup my cheek with one hand, slowly pulling me down to lay against him, my head buried in the crook of his neck, my body practically on top of his.
"Can I ask you something?" He whispers into my hair after kissing the top of my head.
"Mhm," I give a small nod with my hum.
"Why are you wearing the robe?"
I freeze, totally forgetting about the fact that I have lingerie underneath.
He notices my hesitation. "Did you want to do something tonight, baby?"
"I had this whole thing planned out but then I froze up." I turned my head away from him so he couldn't see my face.
"Tell me what your plan was," He requests.
I cuddle my head further into his neck and start to explain. "I have something on underneath this. I was going to take off the robe if the conversation went well. If it didn't I would go change."
"You dressed up for me, baby?" I nod my head.
He reaches down towards the tie of the robe. "Can I undo this, Baby? I won't if you don't want me too. Can I see how pretty you look underneath?" He coos in my ear.
I slowly lean back, and sit up beside him on my knees. I reach down to undo the robe, and his hand reaches out to once again trace circles around my knee to calm me.
I undo the robe and let it fall down my arms, onto the bed. He immediately takes in every inch of me. The teddy i'm wearing has ribbons on both shoulders, and a deep v-neck showing off my cleavage.
He sits up and pulls me over to him, putting one of my legs on each side of his waist as if i'm about to ride him with him sitting on his knees, but then lifts me up and lays me splayed out in front of him on the bed, Him between my legs. He bends down and places a hungry kiss to my lips.
I kiss him back with the same amount of need he has with me. We stay like that for a couple minutes, kissing each other like our lives depend on it.
He pulls back and moves a piece of my hair behind my ear. "Do you want to do this tonight? We don't have to," He reassures me.
"I just want you to touch me." I can tell how desperate I sound, but at this moment, I don't care. Right after the words leave my mouth, I pull him back down to my lips once again.
"Yeah? You want me to make that pretty pussy of yours feel good?" He teases in between kisses before trailing them down my neck. In response, I grind my hips up towards his. Rubbing my clit along the outside of his sweatpants.
"Oh Baby, you're so fucking sexy, all desperate for me." He reaches down, his hand on the back of my thigh, pulling my leg to wrap around his waist, and he grinds his cock into my core. My head falls back at the friction he's giving my clit, My mouth falling open, and my eyes fluttering closed.
I slide my hands underneath the hem of his shirt, slowly gliding them along his back. He pulls away from me and reaches over his head to grab his shirt and pull it off. He tosses it on the floor and moves backwards on the bed. He lifts one of my legs, my foot resting on his shoulder, as he presses kisses along my calf, moving up towards my thighs.
When he gets to my inner thighs, I reach my hand down, and grip onto his hair, pulling him closer to where I really need him. He laughs at my eagerness, and moves up to place kisses right above my pubic bone.
He looks up at me, and brings his hands down, moving the piece of lingerie aside, and slides two fingers through my wetness, circling my hole. His eyes search mine, silently asking for permission. I nod my head, and he slowly slides his middle finger inside me.
My eyes flutter closed, as my head tips back the slightest bit. With my eyes closed, it catches me off guard when he wraps his lips around my clit, slowly suckling, as his finger curls against my g-spot.
My hand on his hair tightens as I let out a loud moan of surprise. He laughs through his sucking, and pushes another finger inside me. My head falls back against the bed as I get lost in the immense pleasure he is giving me.
Lost in my own mind, I accidentally pull too hard on his hair, or so I think. I quickly retract my hand after hearing him wince, thinking I've hurt him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pull so hard." I start to ramble.
He takes my hand and brings it back to his hair. "Pull as hard as you want. I don't care. If anything it just turns me on even more," He says before curling his fingers inside me once again.
I make a mental note of that for later, as I grip onto his hair again. My voice becomes shaky as I let out more sounds which just give him more confidence. As if he'd need it anyways. His tongue laps at my clit as his fingers begin to increase their speed inside me. This almost tips me over the edge.
"Tom?" I whisper in between moans. He looks up at me, slightly slowing down the movement of his fingers. I get stuck between my words, kind of embarrassed to tell him what I want. He reaches his hand up to cup my cheek, leaning back from my core. "What is it baby? Do you want me to stop?"
"No, don't stop," I shake my head. "Can you-," I stop, scared to tell him what I want.
"Tell me, love. What do you need? How can I help you get there?" He asks while kissing my thighs.
"Harder," I reach down and grab the wrist of his hand which is still fingering me. "Go harder. Please?" My voice comes out desperate.
He moves up towards me and takes my lips with his, kissing me hard, as he takes his fingers out, just to move them back inside with a quicker pace. The next second, he's moving his fingers in and out of me with an impressive pace, hitting my g-spot every time.
I gasped through our kiss, breaking from his lips. His fingers are moving in and out of me so fast that I can't clearly see his hand because of how fast it is moving. My hips raise with his fingers when they leave my core, just as they sink back down every time he sinks his fingers back inside me.
I let out a loud moan just for him to capture my lips right after, His fingers still pounding into me. My moans don't stop as he kisses me, The sounds getting masked by his lips.
"Oh fuck, I'm gonna cum!" I shout as I break our kiss and throw my head back.
He brings his lips down to hover over my ear. "Cum for me like the good little slut you are."
This brings me over the edge as his fingers continue assaulting my g-spot at an intense pace. With my head thrown back, and my mouth letting out profound sounds, I cum hard all over his fingers, soaking the sheets beneath me.
"There you go, good girl. You're such a good fucking girl for me." He purrs in my ear.
My arms reach up to wrap around his neck, pulling him down to me. In the midst of my high, all I want is him closer to me. He pulls his fingers out of me, his hand going to my hip as his lips go to my neck and kiss their way up to my mouth.
I don't know how long I'm out of it for, but when I open my eyes, Tom is still right beside me. His hand is caressing my head, his fingers running through my hair at the back of my head while my face is buried in his chest.
I lean my head back to look up at him. All he can see is the lust in my eyes as he leans down and takes my lips with his once again.
He reaches up and goes to grab the edge of one of the bows of the lingerie on my shoulder. "Can I take this off, Baby?"
I nod, and he pulls the ribbon on the bow, letting it come apart before reaching over to loosen the other side. Once the front is loosened, he pulls down the lingerie to reveal my front.
Tom immediately goes to kiss down my neck again, making his way down to my breasts. He kisses around one while palming the other in his hand. He takes my nipple in his mouth, lightly sucking. I let out a breathly moan, a whole new type of pleasure taking over me. My hand reaches up to the back of his head, my fingers running through his hair. I pull him back up towards my lips and kiss him again.
I make a bold move, and reach my hand down to run over the outside of his sweatpants, softly palming him. His breath staggers as he breaks the kiss and looks down to where my hand is rubbing him. He slightly grinds his hips into my hand, making me palm him harder as he buries his face in my neck.
He pulls back and reaches down to grab my hand, bringing it to his lips, pressing a kiss to the top of it. His hands reach down underneath my thighs, bringing them to wrap around his waist, as he goes to lift me from the bed. He brings us up to the pillows and lays my head down on one.
He brings the covers over top of us and leans back to remove the half-on lingerie from my body. Tossing the lace somewhere to the left, he leans back and starts to remove his sweatpants. I sit back and watch.
Once his sweatpants are off, he comes back on top of me. "Do you still want to do this?" He doesn't once take his eyes off mine while asking this.
I give a small "Yeah," and he beings his hand down to free himself from his boxers, pulling them down. My hands rest on his shoulders as he adjusts my legs on either side of him, giving him more access.
I being my hand down and softly stroke him. He moves my hand to his base, and rubs the underside of his cock along my slit, from my hole to my clit, over and over again. His thumb pressing lightly on his tip to keep the pressure of his cock against myself.
"Are you ready?" He whispers to me while using his other hand to stroke my hair.
I nod and lean in to kiss him. We kiss for a couple of seconds before he leans back and looks down towards us as he places his tip at my entrance, and my arms go to wrap around his neck.
He slightly pushes inside of me, just enough for me to feel the slight stretch at my entrance. His tip now inside me, his eyes search mine as his breath staggers, silently asking me if I'm okay. I nod at him, and he leans down, taking my lips with his.
He slowly pushes into me, his other hand caressing my cheek as his kisses me. I break the kiss the moment I feel what everyone is talking about when they say it stings. My jaw drops as my breathing becomes uneven.
"Do you need me to stop?"
"No, no, don't stop." My voice comes out desperate.
He slowly starts pushing further into me, and reaches down to rub my clit, trying to sooth me through it. It surprisingly works well as the pleasure is brought back, masking the pain.
"Can I move, Love?"
"Mhm," I hum as a nod my head.
He slowly pulls himself out, only to push back inside before he completely leaves my warmth. He continues his slow thrusts as I lean up to kiss him. His tongue caresses mine as he continues thrusting inside me, his fingers still massaging my clit.
By now, the pain is mostly gone, and my breath becomes uneven. He pulls back from the kiss, and my head tips back, my eyes going to the roof as I start to focus on the pleasure he is bringing me.
"There you go," he whispers as he leans down to press his lips to the side of my neck. "Do you want me to go faster?"
I nod my head through an uneven breath, and he laughs at my eagerness.
Suddenly, his thrusts speed up, taking me off guard even though I was the one to tell him to do so. My hands go to grip his shoulders as I let out a purely sinful sound while he continues pumping into me.
His mouth continues sucking on my neck as I lose all control, the pleasure getting the better of me, as I start letting out high pitched cries.
His thumb rubbing my clit was one thing, but mixed with the brush of him hitting that spot deep inside me with every thrust, I start to lose it. My nails dig into the skin on the surface of his back, and he lets out a moan into my neck. Hearing that sound only brings me closing to the edge as I bring my hands back to his shoulder blades, and drag my nails downwards once again.
"Oh fuck, Baby. You're such a good girl for me, Yeah?" He whimpers into my ear, his tongue darting out to trace right underneath it.
"Yes, Oh my god, Yes." I cry out as my eyes roll back as the knot in my stomach starts to uncoil, and I cum hard around his cock, still pumping deep inside me.
He comes back up from my neck and I bury my face into his as I ride out my high. My arms are back around his neck again when he starts pumping faster into me.
"Oh my god, I'm gonna cum. I'm gonna cum, Baby." He pants into the side of my head as his thrusts become uneven. In the midst of my high I whisper into his ear.
"Cum, Cum for me. I want you to."
He lets out a groan that can only be described as feral, as I feel his cum fill me up deep inside. His thrusts go from feral, to steady as he slows himself deep inside, and tries to catch his breath. His head still buried into the side of my head, and the pillow, I rest my chin on his shoulder as he reaches down to pull himself out of me.
I let out a hiss at the sensitivity of him fully leaving my warmth, and instantly miss the feeling of being filled by him. He slowly leans to the side and moves halfway off of me, so he is no longer right on top of me.
With him laying beside me, I tuck my head into the crook of his shoulder as my eyes drift closed. "Was that Okay?" He suddenly whispers.
"Yeah, I was really good." I smile into his shoulder.
We both let out a small chuckle. He turns his head to place a kiss on my forehead, and sits up to pull the covers over top of me before getting up and walking into the bathroom.
He comes out with a wet cloth and comes over to help me clean up. After we are both cleaned and dressed, we lay back down and cuddle up underneath the blankets. I whisper a small "Thank You" into his ear, and slowly start to drift off. I can feel him press another kiss to my forehead before I completely fall asleep.

Loving Mr.Munson- Extra
A fun little extra based on this Ask:
I wanna have a massage night with older!eddie and feel his mechanic hands alllll over me 💦💦
He's a magic man, and he's got magic hands
🛑 MATURE CONTENT - SMUT WARNING- 18+ MINORS DNI 🛑
You saw the light on your work voicemail blinking. Please don't let it be another work related issue, this week had already been absolutely horrendous. You looked at the clock on the wall in your office, three hours till quitting time, then it was the weekend and it couldn't come fast enough.
You sighed and checked your messages, first message, work related but something that could be put off till Monday, thank God. You pressed the button to hear the next message,
" Hey Darlin," Your heart melted at the sound of his voice." Just wanted to let you know I'm picking up dinner on my way home tonight. I know you've had a shit week, but I promise I'm about to make it all better. I've got plans for you Sweetheart. Hope the rest of your day flies by, can't wait to see you when you get home. Love ya baby, bye."
You sighed. You were the luckiest woman on the planet. You thanked God every day for this man, for the strange twist of fate that brought you two together. This past year had been a whirlwind, a crazy tornado of change- a new man, new friendships, happiness that you had never imagined possible and love,so much love. And you can't leave out the incredible sex. Eddie Munson was the man of your dreams, and he just so happened to also be your husband.
You were busy the rest of the day, which was fine because it made the last couple of hours fly by, and before you know it it was time to leave.
You rushed home , eager to see what your amazing man had in store for you. You had barely made it up the stairs when the door opened and you were swept inside. It didn't matter that it had only been hours since the last time Eddie had seen you, every day you got home you were greeted like it had been aged since the last time he saw you. Arm encircled your waist, pulling you close, full plush lips on yours, then a bit of Eddie nuzzling into your neck, trailing light kisses and breathing in your scent. This was your favorite part of the day, the part that made all of your worries and days troubles disappear. On the off chance that you were the first one home you would listen for him to pull in then run and jump into his arms .  Your life was like a cheesy Hallmark movie, and you loved it.
" Hey Babygirl, how was your day?" Eddie tilted your chin up lightly with his finger and kissed the tip of your nose.
" Much better now that I am here with you." You smiled up at him. He was so goddamn beautiful.
" Well I have a nice relaxing night planned for us Princess, " you felt his hands wander down to your ass, giving it a squeeze." Starting with dinner and some wine, a little dessert -"
" Are you my dessert?" You smirked, wrapping your arms around his neck.
He smiled." I can be,  but I did actually get dessert. I picked up a cheesecake-"
" You got me a cheesecake? Baby, your the fucking best! How did you know I needed a cheesecake?"
" It's my wifey sense, you know like a sixth sense. I can just feel it-"
You laughed." You know me better than I know myself Baby ."
" I know you inside and out." He smirked and raised an eyebrow. "I got us a lovely red wine to go with our pepperoni pizza," He motioned to the table that he had set, wine bottle open, pizza box, napkins and a candle lit in the center."Let's go eat darling, get fucking wine tipsy and then retire into the bedroom. "
" That sounds like a wonderful plan." You hugged him tight." Thank you Eddie. Thank you for knowing exactly what I needed."
" That's my job Doll. " He kissed your lips.   "Come on Sweet cheeks, let's eat and then we can move on to the more intimate portion of the night." He winked at you.
" Oohhh, I like the sounds of that."
The two of you sat and ate your pizza by candlelight, polished off the bottle of wine and were feeling sufficiently silly when Eddie picked you up in his arms and carried you into the bedroom.
He tossed you on the bed where you bounced and giggled when he tackled you, undressing you and attacking you with kisses. You laughed and your heart felt light in a way that only Eddie was capable of making you feel.
" Now Darlin, are you ready for Eddie Munson's magic fingers?" He rolled you onto your tummy and straddled the backs of your legs.
" I'm pretty sure I have been at the mercy of your magical fingers Sir."
" Yes well, this is different. Are you ready to be whisked away into a realm of pleasure and relaxation?"
" I was born ready Munson." You rested your head on your pillow and felt Eddie reached up and sweep your hair into a ponytail. Jesus, he was so thoughtful.
You sighed as you felt him reach for a bottle of lotion on your nightstand, lightly kiss your neck, shoulders and back before sitting back on his heels. Moments later you smelled the calming scent of lavender. You were half expecting to feel a cold squirt of lotion on your back but was pleasantly surprised when he squirted it into his hands first to warm it up.
He started with your neck and shoulders, "Your so fucking tight Sugar. This must be where you carry your stress. I'm going to use a little more pressure 'kay, let me know if it is too much." He leaned in a little more.
You groaned, "S'perfect."
You could feel the heat radiating off of his mostly naked body as he leaned over you , slowly working his way down, and it felt like absolute heaven. His strong, rough hands were gentle as he worked into all the muscles and knots, his talented hands gliding over your skin, and you could feel your body melting into your mattress.
" Mmmmmm, Baby, that feels amazing."
" You like that Angel? Let me know if you want it a little harder-"
" Mmmhmmm, please..." You could barely even manage words at the moment, hell, you hoped you weren't drooling.
" Your so fucking soft, " he circled his thumbs along either side of your spine working his way down to your lower back.
"Awwww, yes Eddie-"
" Sweetheart, your making me fucking hard with all  those pretty little noises your making."
He wasn't kidding, you could feel his erection against your ass .
" I can't help it when it feels so fucking good, your fucking hands, magic," you whispered.
You could hear him groan. Your poor, sweet man was getting aroused just by rubbing lotion on you. You felt his hands grab your hips, felt him lightly rutting up against you. You pressed back into him.
" Fuck, you got me all wound up." He squeezed your ass, kneaded it, you moaned.
" See that is exactly what I mean. Goddamn it Princess, your so fucking hot, " He leaned down across your body to your ear." See what you do to me baby, you turn me into a fucking pathetic high school kid that can't help but fucking grind into you halfway into a full body massage because your side boob and soft skin are sending me over the fucking edge."
You smiled to yourself, looking over your shoulder. "There is nothing sexier than your spouse being so aroused simply by touching you that he could blow his load. That to me is romantic."
Eddie buried his face in your neck, drawing in a deep breath of your lavender scented skin, kissing your neck and shoulders ."I'm glad you find it endearing ." He sat back on his heels, "Sorry for the brief intermission, where were we?"
" Uh, I think you were about to fuck me."
" I don't think we were quite there yet, I haven't even started on the front-"
" I'm fucking there Baby. Feeling your big strong hands all over my body, gliding around, I'm so ready. If you don't believe me...."
You felt his hand slide from your ass down between your legs, you purred as he ran his fingers through your slit."Jesus Christ, your fucking soaked."
" All because of you baby." You slowly pushed yourself up on your hands and knees, body so relaxed it felt like putty. You looked over your shoulder and bit your lip. " I'm ready for the more intimate part of tonight and I know that you are too. "
He quickly tore his boxers off. " Prettiest sight I've ever seen Darlin."
You dipped your back down and stuck your ass further in the air, stretching like a cat, you looked over your shoulder again and saw him smile.
He grabbed your hips." Is this how you want me Kitten?"
You nodded. " I want to feel you deep inside me."
He sat up higher on his knees, stroked himself a couple of times, his manhood still rock hard." I will take real good care of you Babygirl."
" I know you will baby ."
He ran the head of his cock through your slippery folds, teasing your clit, your body humming, then slowly, he entered you.
" Fuck, baby-" you groaned as he bottomed out. You felt so full of him from this angle." Oh God Eddie."
"I know Doll." He slowly withdrew than plunged back in." Fuuuuck, Sweetheart."
He started off slow, slowly dragging his cock in and out of you, lazily rolling his hips, making you moan,  it felt so fucking good." More baby, please-"
You felt his grip on your hips tighten as he pistoned into you, his body slamming into yours.
" Jesus Christ, sweet pussy taking me so well Darlin, your so fucking good for me baby, so good."
You whimpered as he pounded ,"Eddie," You felt a strong arm slide under your stomach, carefully he pulled your body up so that your back was flush with his chest. He braced himself with one leg on the floor and thrusted up into you. You gasped as he hit the sensitive spot inside you.
He leaned into your ear, his hand slipping from your waist to in-between your legs, where he circled the little bud there. You moaned ." Is that the spot Angel? Is that the spot that is going to make you fall apart? " He thrusted again.
" I'm so close," You slid your hand along your skin to your breast, pinching your nipple, fondling it. Eddie growled.
All of the sensations were incredible and overwhelming, the fullness, the closeness of his hard body to yours, and the intimacy of it all. You felt the familiar wave of pleasure slam into you, making your body buckle then go limp, and he held you through it all.
" Don't worry my Love, I've got you." He fucked you through your orgasm, than moments later his own. You felt his heart beating against your back, his ragged breaths on your neck.
" Incredible, absolutely fucking incredible." He said as he lightly dragged his teeth across your shoulder, then leaned his forehead against you.
" Every. Single. Fucking. Time Eddie, You blow me away."
He kissed your neck than your cheek. " It's my sixth sense, I'm telling you Dollface."
You laughed. " That's got to be it." You sighed. "Holy shit Baby, between the massage and that incredible fuck, I feel like I'm a limp noodle. I feel like I could sleep for days."
Eddie carefully laid you down in the bed than covered you up, placing a chaste kiss to your forehead. He pulled up his boxers." You can't go to bed just yet, Sweet Girl, I still have plans for you."
" I don't know if I can handle anything else, you've turned my body to jelly Munson."
He smirked." Uh, your welcome. Don't worry Kitty, I promise you can handle this." He kissed you again than quickly ran out of the room.
You stretched, and smiled. This is exactly what you had needed. You were relaxed and loose and extremely satisfied. There wasn't anything that could make this night better-
" Dessert! We couldn't forget dessert!" He walked in carrying two small plates of cheesecake grinning from ear to ear.
You smiled." I see you brought us each a plate, smart man, I get awfully possessive of my cheesecake."
" Trust me, I know better." He handed you a plate than sat beside you in bed. He cut off a hunk , picked it up and fed it to you.
" Your so romantic." You beamed .
" Nah, I'm just a guy that's head over heels in love with his wife. Eat up Sweetcheeks,we got to refuel, I still have the whole front side of you to massage, and with those perfect tits, we could be here for hours . I have a feeling that we will run into a similar situation as last time."
You threw your head back and laughed." We'll be running on nothing but love and cheesecake till we are totally spent. "
" Sounds like a perfectly good Friday night to me."
