Technically Corvid is still a part of an au, i really like everyone's designs so i guess its just like a weird little au that are also kinda ocs?? Idk. Im still tagging it as the animatronicfication au and using the other ccs names but im completely separating wilbur from Corvid.

The one that probably changed the most is simp LMAO i just went back to his old design that was inspired by Luna (@starrixle's transfem simpbur turned oc) and Spencer is such a fitting name in my mind i literally can not imagine him with a different name *bwomp*

ANYWAY INFODUMP TIME

Before we go into individual characters i want to say that this is absolutely Minecraft. Like. The world is built off of Minecraft lore yk !!!! The overworld will still be called the overworld but it's basically just earth, with more magic and humanoid species! Along with supernatural creatures and cryptids n stuff :D also with more advanced tech considering Corvid exists pFF

Spencer for the most part kinda was like he is in canon or whatever. She used to lean more towards incel ideology because she was REALLY insecure and uncomfortable with herself for the longest time. Despite that, Spencer and Adrianne (egirl) started dating when they were 17, his unhealthy obsession with her was only fueled by her unhealthy attachment to him. They needed each other and it wasn't good for either of them. Spencer had developed horrible separation anxiety which only made things worse. Over time Adrianne became suffocated by his constant neediness, overwhelming insecurity, short temper and lack of contribution to household chores. It pained her to leave, but things needed to change. It wasn't until the breakup that Spencer met Shepard, who was his first irl friend in a long time. They met when they were around 22/23, at first Spencer just used Shepard as a distraction from Adrianne, especially since he was surprised that they wanted to even be his friend in the first place. But after a while he genuinely started to enjoy their company, plus they offered him really good advice and helped him through a gender/sexuality crisis. Eventually they became partners! Maybe not romantically, as they're both aromantic, but life partners nonetheless.

OH and i did make Spencer white/Salvadoran. Her mom is the first generation from immigrant parents while her dad is British; And her dad's younger brother is Adam's dad! He's also an ex-christian, he left due to religious trauma and moved to America to escape his family hA

Spencer's also a no sabo kid LMAO (he knows some words/phrases but other than that he cant speak Spanish to save his life)

ALSO ALSO. Oh my god i could talk about Spence all day LMAO but i made him a werewolf !!!! Hes SOO jealous of Adam because she wanted the cat genes but instead got bitten and turned into a werewolf as a teenager. She's done a pretty good job at hiding it from her family so Shepard's the only one who knows.

I already dumped everything about Adam into that other post, so I don't really have much else to add. HOWEVER !! Him and Spence are cousins now :3 Adam doesn't get to meet Spencer in person until he moves to America with Charlie & co, but he does follow her socials with his secret accounts that his parents don't know about. The only reason they know they're cousins is because Spencer's dad told her so and she reached out! Much to the dismay of Adam's parents but they've secretly kept in touch online.

Keith's pretty much stayed the same apart from a slight design revamp. Although I've made him a little older since originally i made him look young. But then I decided hes a dad so i started drawing him older for the asks pFF he also has a hooked nose now! In case it's not obvious. Keith got married to Jean VERY young, they were maybe 17/18 in human years. It was an arranged marriage and their only goal was to have an heir to the throne. Well they did, they had two kids, the eldest being a boy named Lune and the youngest being a girl named Sunny, who's the would be heir. Until Jean took both the kids and left. It was completely unprompted and left everyone in the kingdom confused, especially Keith. Sure, they had a loveless marriage and maybe he was insufferable at times, but he wanted to make it work if not for the kids then for the kingdom! But its been almost a year since she left, he's lost hope in ever finding her. Keith desperately wants his kids back, not because Sunny is the rightful heir— though that is part of it—but he loves them both dearly. He misses them the most.

Wilfred has pretty much stayed the same as well! I did give him a grey tshirt and darker hair to further distance his design from wilbur though. Hes just as unhinged and immoral as he used to be !!!! Nothing has changed aside from appearance actually.

Tobi also pretty much stayed the same except for its now got an orange jumper and lighter brown hair pFF although i do now have a story for him! Tobi was found by Alejandro in a storage auction, he managed to sell a lot of pretty valuable things from there but Tobi stood out, obviously, so he kept it. Alejandro is a travel vlogger and lives in an RV with his friends: Tomas, Philip and Charles. His friends just call him Alex. Anyway, they go from town to town trying local food, visiting tourists traps and vlogging the journey! While doing that they also try to find out how to get Tobi's memories back and possibly turn him human again, if they even can. So far they haven't had much luck but maybe one day...

Corvid was created as the backup singer and lead guitarist of the first all animatronic band! Brought to you by Beloved Entertainment! The other members include lead singer Ranboo Beloved, keytarist Tommy Raccoon, and bassist James Tomcat. Located in Ranboo's Mega Pizzaplex, the only location in the world (so far). Corvid adopts a showman personality while on stage, hes charismatic and such a heartthrob, very popular with the ladies. Off stage he's very calm and soft spoken, he's rather shy but still manages to be a flirt and a tease. Lightly poking fun at his bandmates, coworkers and even guests at times. Just as he opened his mouth to ask for more information, you decided to take pity on the poor soul and fill him in. "I bailed him out of a holding cell."

No one bat an eye. Atsushi looked around the office, trying to see if maybe someone was holding back laughter, but not a single one of his new coworkers were phased. Did they not hear what you said?

"He got detained for public disturbance in the middle of a case. I told Dazai he'd have to find a way to get out on his own, and he shows back up not even thirty minutes later with them in tow," Kunikida explains, frustration evident in his voice. "I was trying to teach him a lesson."

"I was in the area," you shrug.

"Yeah, being detained as well..."

"I was being released from detainment, actually!" You correct Kunikida, a proud grin on your face. "And Dazai said I should follow him, so I did."

Atsushi laughed awkwardly. He knew you seemed similar to Dazai in your hedonistic pursuits, but this was baffling. "And the president hired you?"

"I had an entrance exam, but pretty much! I had just been fired from my old job the day before so Dazai helped me get set up here. And before you ask: I was fired because I told the boss' kid I wouldn't date him. He got all upset and told daddy to can me," you huff in frustration, still annoyed at your wrongful termination.

Kunikida rolled his eyes. "Don't act like some martyr; You also deserved to be fired. You just messed around on the job like you do here. You barely got any work done."

You were so kindly asked by Jean and Albedo to babysit Klee for a few days/you don´t know if you regret that or not/since it was a busy time for the nights, and you were their best option that weren´t too busy.

you didn´t do much the first day, other than trying to get Klee to not bomb something. and then getting her to play small games all day instead, so you played hide and seek for at least a few hours. in the middle of a game of hide and seek she got a little distracted with some crystal flies in the area, and started trying to catch some for you. she eventually caught one and showed it to you, and then made you get down to her level so she could put it in your hair.

What she enjoyed the most: she mostly enjoyed it when you let her bomb something, even though it was just a ruin guard(it was away from people, and couldn´t harm anything). and she also loved to make glitter bombs with you, though now there´s glitter all over you both.

Qiqi

It was really hectic in the pharmacy, so Baizhu kindly asked you to look after Qiqi for a day or two, since they were all busy and also didn't want Qiqi to work too much. Although she wanted to help.

What she enjoyed the most: she really liked when you helped her gather some flowers for Baizhu. she wasn´t asked to do it, but she overheard some of the workers there needing some more flowers for someone's medicine, so she wanted to help out. but of course, she was under your watch, so you helped her get them.

She got distracted a few times, by finces, pretty flowers/veiws, and ofc Yao Yao, speaking of Yao Yao, she joined you both half way since she had also went flower collecting, as she wanted to make a flower crown for granny. and she was helpfull for sure, especially with keeping Qiqi occupied and not getting distracted as often. she had to leave at some point though, so you helped Qiqi say goodbye and get the last few flowers before carrying her back to the pharmacy.

When you got back Qiqi was about half asleep, and was even worse at remembering things, but it was fine, and you would totally do it again.

"if Baizhu is... uhm extra busy again can you... look after Qiqi again?" she asked just after you had gone collecting flowers with her how is a zombie that fucking adorable.

Sayu

you were asked by the Kamisato siblings, and Guuji Yae herself, to babysit Sayu for them. of course you accepted the task (otherwise you wouldn´t be here, duh) and were told to pick her up the next morning. as they were all going to be busy with preparing for a festival that's coming up, as well as with the rest of the shrine.

the first day was rather normal, for her at least. she slept through almost all of it, while you just carried her around, and did some other tasks you also had to do that day.

the second day was the most interesting, in your words. maybe it was the fact that she had to do some training. or maybe it was you cooking for her, cooking whatever she wanted. but she loved the food you cooked for her, and even wanted to try herself. so you taught her how to cook some basic recipes of your own, she was pretty good at it, but was very tired after the first two. so you put her to sleep for a few hours, and then you could continue after if she wanted.

Today was really nice and the first day in a little while where I haven't had anything pressing to do. It was pouring at the clinic today--has been all week. When the rain wouldn't let up at the park, I suggested we go to one of my fave places in the city, and I drove us to a giant used bookstore that was a few miles away.

I didn't realize until we got there that they'd never been before!! I try to take everyone I can there if they're from out of town, and it is ABSOLUTELY my favorite place to both take a new date and have a special date with an established partner. I don't feel guilty about taking basically everyone I've ever dated there--a good date is a good date. There's a lot of built-in conversation to be had and it's easier than a bar and free to wander around. We accidentally killed an enormous amount of time there, and we shot the shit about 20th century history which is my jam, so amazing to talk abt it w someone who can hang, READS, and doesn't have anything to prove in terms of static knowledge recall.

We hung out for a little while but they had yoga and I wanted to head home so we split up after that and it felt... weird? Like it always feels like there's this last step we are missing to our goodbyes. They forced a hug one time when we were saying goodbye from the clinic, but it was really early on and RIGHT when I was coming to terms with being attracted to them (like second time seeing them after having the realization) which means I was in ultra robot mode, and also assumed it was one-sided and they were just trying to be nice. Like I literally think I did a one arm side hug and they were so dejected they never tried again. Now we're weeks later and it feels weird that we're not kissing goodnight or something.

But I had the evening to myself and finally broke down and talked to someone from my real life about them. He was very affirming that I'm not insane, and just recapping the timeline to someone made it make more sense in my mind. I didn't even have to present half of my evidence for my friend to say yeah, that's going in A Direction. I just second guess it all for a variety of reasons, but for example when I screenshotted a text and sent it as evidence that I feel like they text me like a coworker sometimes, my friend pointed out that nobody in the history of neutral coworkers has ever crafted such a long and careful text. Which. Touche.

This morning we were back out at the clinic bright and early. My friend was supposed to join us but she couldn't at the last minute. Instead she dropped into the chat and asked if someone could fill in for her. If I didn't feel like we were already attracting attention (spoiler: we are), i would've REALLY preferred to jump in and say "noooo worries, no third wheel needed please." But we are getting a little visible. So I didn't. And BFR's friend jumped in to take my friend's place volunteering with us.

I ended up being really happy the friend was there though! The two of us are more like a couple when there IS a third person there, although the vibe can be a lot to navigate sometimes and I often have to shut down and take some time to myself. It wasn't unwelcome to have him there though. It makes the vibe between me & bfr more apparent, pronounced, whatever. We already have such a shorthand in common which 😍 wrow, communication fluency.

I invited his friend to lunch with us, and he accepted, and it was fun--I took them to my favorite Greek place which is legit like three blocks from the clinic.

Friend went on his way, the two of us moved to the next location: their favorite spot to work. I also love this location bc you can watch the afternoon rain and vape furiously on the porch without getting wet. Like I said, today was the first day in a while where neither of us had much to do in the way of work. They have been threatening to inflict their favorite board game on me for a while now, and it finally happened today. I am notoriously uninterested in board games (more like bored games amiright) but the combo of my biggest fan being excited to teach/compliment me on how AMAZING i am at it (rofl lying but ok) and the inherent fun of the game meant that I, uh, had a lot of fun, unfortunately.

We did two REALLY close rounds, and in the second game they almost fully missed a work call they had at 7:00 (I remembered bc i am insane but I also didn't mention it until 6:50 bc I thought maybe they were goofing on me and pretending like they'd lost track of time). Turns out they had been planning on muting and barely looking at the meeting anyway bc they didn't wanna stop playing--which is flattering but I'm also like "[Redacted], i already very much want the best for you, INCLUDING not becoming completely codependent and risking your living bc im so charming and fun" so there was a lot of me pausing the play and asking about the meeting.

By the time that was over, we were already butting up against the time we were supposed to meet their friends to lift tonight. We hadn't eaten dinner but they offered to feed me at their place which was perfect. We went straight back and holy shit their homemade leftovers were delicious.

Their friends came on time to lift and the first thing out of the mouth of the one who knows me better was "you and [redacted] have really been spending a lot of time together huh?" The two of us made eye contact and kinda laughed and BFR said "yep" and both made the 😬 face and the friend wouldn't let it go and repeated "you guys spend all day together now..." and my 😬 face couldn't get any more intense and he said "all day... today..." i said "yep we're pretty codependent." (I'd made the same not-joke yesterday when I was very truly pointing out that I don't remember what to do with my alone time anymore, and they not-jokingly replied "yeah we've ruined each other." Which like. At least we're aware.) Only later did I realize that BFR mustve been talking to the friend about it bc I definitely wasn't and there was no public talk about it in our shared discord so 👀 bitch i see u chatting in private abt me.

Lifting was incredible as always. Their friends who are a decade younger than us and sometimes join us, sometimes don't, really crack me up and I have such a good rapport with one of the guys that I think I lift better with him around (the one who was giving us a hard time tonight). He dishes out the abuse I give him while lifting, which I love. Between him and bfr, I feel like a fucking all-star lifter in that little garage gym. They talk positively about my form when they don't even realize I can hear them. Even so, BFR will not hesitate to call me out when a lift looks bad or I need a cue.

So yeah. It's nice. Hanging out at their place, being fed, getting let in on a LOT more inner details than I got in the first months of knowing them. That's all lovely. I always try to text them and let them know when I've had a lot of fun with them, and that's just basically turned into a nightly check-in. On Sunday, I got a very coworkery (imo) message from them about enjoying our time together, thanking me for my "wonderful company," thanking me for spending so much time together, thanking me for attending so many events with them, and saying that they are "definitely down to keep hanging out in the future." At the time I felt like "that's a weirdly formal way to put all this" but getting home to tonight's much more neurotic message made it make more sense (along w the feedback from a trusted friend who makes good points). Like it was a careful message because they are being exceedingly careful with me. They know some of my more obvious damage (all the psychic sucking chest wounds are hard to ignore after a few weeks of learning about me, and i've been going out of my way to be quite "warts and all" with them). They value our time together A LOT. And the more that I understand our similarities, the more I know that they're also likely really fucking scared to endanger the chemistry of this friendship by introducing ANY other dynamic.

Im finally getting to the end here. Tumblr will probably eat this entry. I'm posting it before a full edit--RIP anyone parsing this.

But the message that I came home to tonight was FINALLY a little more vulnerable, and essentially said that if I want to spend LESS time with them, I'm going to have to tell them that straight up, and that that'll be ok, but if so they need to lnow because this is the amount of time they want to spend with me (all of it), and they don't anticipate that changing.

So! Guess I'll puke and die now! Literally spent five minutes last night considering how I could smuggle them to Colorado with me. Also I haven't had anywhere to put this but since this is an all-bfr all the time blog now, we are going to go on a trip together to chicago in August! There's an actual reason to go other than lovefest vacation (pretty much a work trip for them that I've been asked to tag along for) but as we are actually finalizing the trip plans, it definitely feels more than a little bit like we are going on a lovefest vacation. Which is all the more reason why it would be great to not be hella conspicuous (even though it's a little fun being hella conspicuous).

Like I didn't need another human to come validate my existence, but I *did* need to meet someone who could threaten the idea that I'm ready to die alone. It's nice. It's all nice!! I'm definitely not crying and throwing up!!!

His age doesn't seem to be very easy to tell as he looks roughly in his late 20's/ early 30's all the time, but it's not a surprise that he is well older than that. Winnie himself was in complete shock when Mali just randomly walked up to him one morning and just whispered how old he was in his ear; Whether it was to sound impressive or just to see his reaction is of course another question however

As mentioned, he has in fact gotten arrested one time for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Apparently despite being a demon who could potential wreck havoc to the world one day if he snapped; He's so chill to the point where authorities can still get him done for human related crimes

Has an underworld form for whenever he ventures in and out of hell, or as most demons decide to call it; "The Underrealm", how he looks on the surface is the best he can ever get to looking more "human", despite him not looking THAT much different to his real look. He's literally only slightly taller and more brute built in his Underworld form

There are other demons who have socialised along with humans just like him, he even hangs out with them in clubs, going out for drinks and so forth while keeping it buddy-buddy; Humans aren't excluded from joining them if they ask, no discriminating here after all

Has gotten romantical with quite a few humans at LEAST dating back to the late 60's, unsure whether he has lived longer than that is unclear however as he refuses to acknowledge his life before that era

Has many forged ID's for every country; Why wouldn't he, he's a demon after all. Winston sometimes wonders how he manages to get himself into trouble before the problem is "seemingly forgotten"

Acts as Winston's personal mannequin when it comes to stylizing and tailoring; Mali enjoys it believe it or not, anything that makes his boyfriend smile is good enough for him

It was one of Kuon's last plays he would be a part of. After all, it was his senior year

He always loved being a part of the main cast, every so often getting the main lead

He never really cared for working in the back with the props, lights, and all that other work

What he didnt know was a certain someone got the main love interest

As soon as Kuon had heard the roles were posted, he immediately went to check. The way his face seemed to light up, knowing he had gotten the main role, was priceless. His friend, Isagi, on the other hand, noticed something else. "Hey! Y/N got one of the main roles! ...Wait, isn't that the love interest?"

Kuon couldn't believe what he had just heard. Y/N!? The main love interest of the play!?

Doesn't help he's had a crush on Y/N for some time now. Ever since you guys were freshmen, to be exact.

It was easy for Isagi to notice Kuon's reaction. Red in the face, double checking to make sure what he was reading was right. All he could do was sigh.

"You've told me and Gagamaru plenty of times how you feel about them? Why not tell them before the performance?" Isagi suggested which just left Kuon with a nervous look on his face. "Im still not all that sure..yknow it's hard to read them!" Kuon said, almost annoyed or even frustrated!

Yup, you, Y/N had Kuon wrapped on your finger to point where he wasn't even sure if you liked him back

It just turns out you're better at hiding how feel this way around people.

Of course, you also decided to check the roles later that day with Raichi. Boy were you in for a teasing

Once you noticed the roles, Raichi was already laughing. He knew how you felt about Kuon, and his laughing wasn't helping at all. "Keep laughing, and I swear," you said with a huff. He wiped away a tear from laughing so hard. "Ah ha! Sorry, I can't help it. Just somehow, on being so cliche, you get the main love interest while your crush has the main role! Ah ha ha!" To say the least, Raichi couldn't help but tease you for basically the rest of the week.

Soon enough, everyone started to practice their roles. Of course, you and Kuon are the most nervous for obvious reasons.

Chigiri, who was also a part of the play, noticed this rather quickly. Sure, he was a supporting cast member, but my goodness, he's never seen either of you struggle so hard with lines

He suggested you both just learn lines in your own time as well cause of this. You both decided it was for the best, but Chigiri knew what else he was doing, a sly smirk appearing on his face knowing damn well he was gonna set you two up.

When practicing one on one, you often then not end up at Kuon's place.

To say the least, you both admire each other and your skills, but sometimes you both catch each other having a momet

Once again, you found yourself at Kuon's place, rehearsing your lines. Kuon had a bit to read, so you sat his desk chair. You listened, almost to intently. Soon enough, once Kuon was done reading, he had caught you just staring at him..of course he just laughed a bit. "Did you like it?" He asked before you could even zone back in.

To say the least, you did enjoy it! But you enjoyed just watching him more. You just couldn't wait to see him in his outfit

Of course, Kuon also admired you when you practiced your lines. You could almost catch him having a love sick look on his face.

Soon enough, the day of the play came, and neither of you had tried to make a move on the other. Which shocked your friends a bit.

As the play went onward, you both seemed to feel a flutter in your chest. Only if you knew the other felt the same.

In the end, you all took your bow and just enjoyed the fact that you all did well! But..someone had enough of you both being oblivious

Raichi huffed. "Listen! And you both better!" He yelled, walking backstage. This surprised some of the other members but Kuon and Y/N the most. "Listen to what!?" Kuon asked which made Raichi let out a long sigh. "That you both like each other! It's so obvious it hurts! Now do something about it!" Sure he was a bit aggressive with it but he was right.

Of course, after this you and Kuon both confirmed that what Raichi was saying was true.

To say the least, once you guys got back to Kuon's place, you both replayed the last part of the play, just you two. It was cliche but hey! Sometimes the cliche parts are the best ones of all!

but imagine - like as characters even without them being FK - Alan's path to healing and being able to trust again and also recognize his role in the way his relationship with Wen fell apart is actually a very strong storyline (and personally i feel its more compelling than JimWen's neglected suburban housewife getting with the poolboy vibe asdfghjhgfds dnt @ me plsss i promise i love EM lololol) Alan falling in love again centered around the themes of healing, redemption and second chances like riiiipppppp. the story then proceeds to just give you another single character who suffers a similar heartbreak but isn't dragged down by a jaded and grueling romantic past. Narratively, Kaipa is positioned almost perfectly to understand Alan but also inject his life with a little hope and maybe even call him out on his bullshit (just as a treat).

Kaipa saying, 'If we keep chasing after the one we love, do you think we'll ever be loved back?' in the same trailer where Wen tells Alan that he doesn't love him anymore like my adhd brain is making so many connections i can't even begin to sort through them.

A character who's vice is holding onto something a bit too tightly juxtaposed with one who's vice is neglecting the things that are important (they're foils your honor). They're at such different stages of their life faced with such different romantic problems but struggle with essentially two sides of the same issue: do i hold on or do i let go? and what role does love play in making that decision? what responsibility do i have to the one that i claim to love? Can two broken people heal each other? The only good answer (according to me) being only if they choose to: Alan and Kaipa can fall into tragedy just as easily as they can into healing and the outcome depends on an intricate balance between fate and choice. FirstKhao might be what brought me to AK but they are not the reason I've stayed with this pair and nurse their happy ending in the core of my heart. Anyway, I would love to help you regain your confidence so you feel comfortable posting on your account again. Like I'm not even joking your take on AK is really fresh and full of that hopefulness that really makes one believe that they'll make it without circumventing the difficult situation they're in. When I heard this was gonna be a full album i was sooo hyped. Since we have JPN versions of all the Titles now, we could expect at least a handful of original tracks right? No we just got one :/ I have yet to listen to the whole album, and who knows, it might be an enjoyable listen front-to-back, but im still disappointed.

As for the song herself: I wanna talk about it in another post but Hydrangea Love is an easy classic txt homerun. Slower romantic track. Killer vocals. Huening Kai. What more do you need?

Im genuinely confused about how the album dropped. SRR JPN dropped in late June, then Hydrangea Love also dropped before the album was set to release? Why?

here the marketing is confusing me. They announced it as a "comeback", and are clearly treating it as such. Did Jun have to go caramel for a collab track? I dont remember making this much noise for Valley of Lies.

I suppose Jonas Brothers is a much bigger name, but they haven't done anything relevant since their comeback in 2019 either.

Idk the hype around this is very high and it can very easily fall through. It can very easily end up sounding like a pop song from 2015, no txt-ness in sight. Ryan Tedder is the producer i think which puts me even more at edge.

Another thing is the timing. Placing both the JPN album and this Collab so close to each other doesnt seem like a good idea to me. How do we get the time to properly promote both? I thought they were shooting for a proper comeback later in the year (it still might happen, which furthers my point.) The US leg just ended, there is Lolapalooza...

I just think there is too much going on surrounding txt. Its been one thing after another for years at this point. I would rather have them properly rest for a reasonable stretch of time, and have more complete projects, rather than rushing one-song-releases.

To be fair i did want there to be a One Dream Season 2, a full-circle moment. bc One Dream was about their first time taking on the U.S as txt, and after three years its their first world tour. But without Mnet's involvement.

I hope this can be introspective and delve into the persepectives and experiences of each member and kind of like round up their career until now (i basically want a doc about txt as a whole not just that summer). Instead of just "here's some tour footage". Honestly id take that too bc ive been hungry for high-quality tour footage. The whole thing on streaming would be the ideal but. I'll take anything 🤲🤲

hi i just got back from a weekend at my partners and help i’m having some Thoughts. references to NSFW within.

so we have been recently talking about like. marriage. The General Future. in the very abstract. like the “if you were ever to get married what’s your ideal wedding” but never “if WE were to get married” or “WHEN you get married,” all very very abstract until suddENLY IT WASNT A S ABSTRACT THE OTHER DAY but that’s beside the point

this weekend i, like. idek what in particular was said or done to make me realize this. i think it was maybe just a bunch of little things. but like. i! okay. so two things. one, i think like my partner has internalized the “for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health” mentality ??? like??? not mentality. idk what else to call it. but like. through thick and thin w me. They’re In It. which brings me to two, i think this is the first time i’ve felt unconditional romantic love. which, haha, WOW, THATS A HELL OF A REVELATION!!!!

and i’m trying not to let these two things have me run scared just because they’re things i don’t know. like. i also love my partner very much, i hesitate to say it’s unconditional love not because there are plausible conditions i would not love them, but because the last person i loved unconditionally cheated on me and lied and schemed and manipulated me and did extreme damage that now my current partner is paying for. this is one such way theyre paying for it. i’m just. i can’t let myself classify it as unconditional love even if it’s basically that in everything but the name.

but like. comparing this love to the way cat loved me is like. the difference is so fucking stark. i don’t doubt she loved me but it had never felt like this. this is different, it is intense but easy. its so— it’s a love that builds me up instead of shackles me to one place. Like— this is so stupid, but i have always been intensely ashamed of my own pleasure. it was taught to me in my christian upbringing and then not reinforced by cat explicitly but like, not. addressed or dismantled in any way surely, but my partner is like. they will not let me hide my face while they’re teasing me, they make me say out loud what i want, what feels good, what doesn’t.

And in that i have found SO MUCH confidence, and it’s confidence i keep finding and building, and it’s one that makes me communicate better in bed, what’s working and what isn’t, which, SHOCKER! MAKES THAT SHIT MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE!!! and they do the same!!! which is GREAT for me because i want to know what i’m doing right and what i could be doing better!!!!

Like that’s just one example, it’s the one i have the most to say abt but like, there’s also that i’m a very jealous person and they’re aware of it and i’m working on it even though it’s hard and it sucks so bad, but like, on this trip it was mentioned and they said how much better i’d been about it and that it’s something we’d work though together and i’m just. HAHAHA WOW im tearing up writing about it hahahahaha okay

so like. yeah. so im trying not to let this level of intense, fierce but gentle, armor-penetrating love scare the absolute shit out of me because it’s NICE. it’s GOOD. it’s just so unfamiliar and foreign that my brain immediately assumes it’s either a trap or it’s something i can’t live up to

anyway an AU in which Nico did leave both Camps after the war, spent a few years afterward traveling the world to see and meet more people, learning about the LGBT+ community, working as an ambassador for his dad, talking to ghosts, ended up having his knowledge horizon widened, and returned to the Camps much later as a completely different human being - at peace and free.

I can damn well save him without putting him in a couple. Solangelo isn’t special. Selflove Nico for the win.

Sorry for taking so long to answer you!! My mind has been all over the place. But here it is. Also, I'm sorry bc this is sort of a mess.

I agree with you, there are jasico shippers who also ship solangelo and not liking one ship doesn't mean you want a character to be miserable. And sometimes you want a character to be miserable and that is okay!

I'm not sure if this was a writing request, but I read your ask as this and wrote something.

Also I saw across the spiderverse lately and the idea of punk!Nico got in my head and now it just can't go away.

(the idea is that now Nico only deals with monsters and ghosts who are harming humans or demigods, and not shit related to gods and their missions. Also he sees some gusy from time to time but it is not dating, although I didn't make his romantic situation explicit)

Strange. That was the best word to define what Nico felt going back to Camp Half-Blood after so much time. His shoulders tensed and he felt a familiar discomfort on his stomach. His body was preparing for the judgement. It was just bad memories. He didn't care what those people thought about him, they were strangers and children. But in the end it didn't matter how much healing he had done in the past years, his past would always scar him. At least now, it didn't hurt.

Before he changed his mind, Nico entered the camp. It didn't look much different. The cabins are basically the same, kids running with the old ugly camp shirts, a lot of noise and fighting. Some part of him felt like he went back on time.

"Nico di Angelo."

The demigod opened a big smile. He recognized that sweet voice. Turning around he bowed to one of the only gentle beings he met at this place.

"Lady Hestia."

"It's been a long time since we saw each other."

Nico felt guilty. He had always liked Lady Hestia, since the first day they'd met. It wasn't his intention to spend so many years without seeing her.

"I'm sorry. You were almost always in camp and I..."

"It wasn't an accusation, you don't have to worry."

She looked at him with kindness. She always had.

“You look better.”

“I am better.”

Hestia nodded. She seemed satisfied.

“I imagine you want to talk to Dianisius and Chiron. They are at the Big House. See you around, Nico di Angelo.”

Nico bowed.

“I’ll go after you so we can properly talk when I finish at the Big House.”

“I’ll be waiting.”

Hestia walked away in the direction of her fire. Her appearance was the same as when Nico met her which comforted him for some reason.

While walking to the Big House, Nico asked himself where would he like to go on this visit? Would he want to meet some kids? Make a sort of tour? Avoid everyone besides Hestia? Would he want to see his old cabin? Enjoy the woods?

“Nico!! You… you changed!”

Nico smiled in amusement at Chiron's surprised face. He guessed his traumatic young self didn’t look like someone who would end up being a punk. He no longer wore only black, had tons of piercings, tattoos and some spikes in his clothes.

“I guess you could say that.”

“What brings you back here? Is there any problem?”

“No, I just wanted to see how things are.”

“Well, feel welcomed. I can give you a tour and show you the new things we got since the last time you came here.”

“I appreciate the offer, but I think I’ll just see my cabin.”

“Would you like to talk to the kids? I’m sure they can learn something useful with such an experienced demigod as you.”

Nico pondered the question. It was not like he was opposed to helping the kids, but he really didn’t want to have anything to do with what was happening at camp. Sure, there were some changes made by Apollo, however Nico still despised what was going on there. 

“If the kids have any problem with a mission you can call me, I wouldn’t mind helping them.”

It wasn’t what Chiron asked and Nico didn’t care. He shook his head as a way to say good-bye and walked away. 

Nico wasn't sure what he expected with his visit. Maybe have some closure? See how much of his past he had overcome? Throw salt in the almost healed wound? Maybe he just didn’t want to feel like he was running from his past.

Seeing Hestia was good, though. And coming back just made him feel sure he made the right choice to leave the camp. What would have he become in a place like this that also ostracized him? Would he have become comfortable with his sexuality? As much as he was now? Maybe he would still be doing missions for gods. 

Should he go to his cabin? He didn’t have much to do with the kid he once was, lonely, full of self-hatred, in love with some boy, sometimes consumed by trauma. He had a community now, had made friends, moved on, worked on his problems. Maybe he should just really leave all of this behind, talk to Hestia and give his proper goodbye to this haunted place. Yeah, Nico would do that. 

Visiting Camp Half-Blood ended up not being so bad in the end.

my top 3 fave eps of eps that I've rewatched the most are: The Gang Gets Romantic, The Gang Group Dates, and The Gang Dances Their Asses Off (with Dennis Reynolds: An Erotic Life as an honorable mention lol)

7. what’s something that we haven’t seen in the show yet that you’d like to see?

i clearly wanna see some resolution or 'get together' scene ONSCREEN (cuz i have argued previously that they HAVE already banged offscreen in Dennis Gets Divorced) but I'd like to see, at the very least, going from writing Macdennis as subtext to making that the overt text. Which, in their defense, they've started doing since s12 ... but I just hope they execute the culmination of the storyline they started in s12/s13 in a way that.. does not suck ass. and i'm usually willing to give rcg a lot of leeway about this particular thing cuz like. theyre str8 they dont know any better LOL. but yeah i wanna see mac and dennis kiss, fuck, date, idc! something!

other things i'd like to see: i'd like to see charlie getting some cathartic 'snapping' arc where he goes back into the badroom and in the vents and the gang cant get him out cuz hes rlly emotional (like as a result of his dad dying or smth) and he basically just snaps, Phantom of the Opera style but he'd be like the Phantom of Paddy's... and maybe this is all while Dee's trying to host an event of whatever kind and so hes just lurking around the whole time trying to sabotage the event... maybe he kidnaps someone LOL thatd be ccool

i also would LOVE to see waitress becoming a more recurring character, esp to team up with Dee. I'd ideally like to see them move IN together n be a duo, but I'll take what I can get. I also just wanna see Dee going crazy. I kinda want Dennis and Dee to have a swap where DEE is the angry, spiteful one and Dennis is just sad and pathetic at his lowest yknow? LOL. Like I think they could easily do this as well, and it seemed to me like they experimented with that kind of dynamic in Gets New Wheels. and lastly, PUT DEE IN THE DUSTER!!!!

i'd like to see more of Mac's ACTUAL life... cuz he has been TALKING about doing all this shit the past couple seasons but we dont get to see what he's ACTUALLY getting up to. So sorta a Mac's Double Life ep but done much better LOL. I just want some character exploration with Mac cuz they seem to be struggling with what to do with Mac since he came out. And I know part of that also has to do with Rob wanting to have a gay man in the writers room but (so far, as far as I know) not being able to get any lol.

I'd also like to see some shit about whatever is going on with Frank that we found out he has a serious, terminal disease in s11... but ik a lot of ppl have said that before me, and for good reason its like.. wtf is going on there LOL

10. who’s your least favorite character?

shit... good question.... yknow i'll just use this as an opportunity to say i hate the way they wrote fat mac. it just felt like they squandered his potential. the way they executed the joke itself was just reeking of rcg's own body image issues which makes it just uncomfortable/not funny if you dont ALSO have rcg's body issues LOL. like i think if they'd done a slower progression over time where the characters just Look Their Age as they age would be a good subversion and probably not too difficult to maintain LMAO. and if Rob wanted Mac's part in that to be gaining some weight for a season/a couple seasons that could've been subversive in itself and done well. But I think bc they made it a seasonal gimmick it suffered for that. So I'm not really answering the question i Know but KJDFGNKDJ tbh i loooove the cast of characters we've become familiar with I think they're all great

HI. Cricket. the first rumour is that im going to kick your ass (this is a joke and we are friends) ok here we go:

Speculist Rinthi -

There are so many rumours about Rinthi. A reclusive member of the Priory with a mysterious research goal, and an asura who barely gets on with any other asura she’s met and whose closest-seeming friend is a norn? There are so many rumours flying around about her, especially among the younger or more easily impressed Priory members.

The most notable are that her work is something awful that the Priory is too ashamed to openly acknowledge, like… well, whatever the speaker thinks is the most awful thing in the world, usually. Often something to do with ghosts, souls, or corpses, since her assistant is a known necromancer. Another persistent rumour is that she has blackmail on Steward Gixx that she weaponises to avoid getting kicked out of the Priory for her regular various levels of insubordination and general complaining about him. This isn’t actually true – she’s not really considered a proper member of the Priory, working more on a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” basis than an official one – but she wouldn’t mind if it was true. Mostly because it would upset Gixx.

Muni Grimgrave -

Muni’s adjacency to Rinthi means he ends up catching a lot of the same flak. Nobody’s quite sure how he helps with Rinthi’s research, so there’s a good deal of whispering about what he’s up to there. Also there’s a running bet as to whether they’re romantically involved, because apparently two people can’t just get on with their work and this place doesn’t have anything more professional to do than gossip about people’s love lives, is what Muni said the one and only time a scholar dared to ask him about it,

Egg Varserk -

Egg at first glance doesn’t seem like he has a lot to hide; to the Shiverpeaks he’s a mercanary who shows up and then leaves when the job is done, and if you know of him then you probably know that his family died in a dragon-related incident and that it’s best not to pry. In the Vigil, he’s mostly just your coworker. He works well in groups but doesn’t stick with them for very long if he can help it, which some people wonder about, but that’s generally considered his business (particularly once it’s happened a few times, where it’s clear that it’s nothing personally about anyone in particular and that he’s otherwise easy to work with).

Once Heart of Thorns comes around and he works for an extended period of time with the Pact Commander, there’s probably interest around that, but I don’t see it becoming much more than “ooh Egg’s not here, do you think he’s doing work for ~The Commander~?” He’s kind of just like. A guy. He has so much “just a guy” energy that it shuts down most rumours before they really get going.

Calydowan -

CALY… she wears a lot on her sleeve but she’s also messy in a way that’s basically a well-known secret, and as Pact Commander she’s a public figure, so. There’s a lot. Prone to, let’s call it partying hard, and tends to disappear off the radar between prolonged campaigns or Pact business, even if during it she’s largely professional. In her absences there are often claims that she’s died in a myriad of ways, ended up in jail, once that she planted her feet in the earth and turned into a tree? Which hasn’t happened yet. Calydowan likes to think she would have noticed.

There’s also the fairly regular “I had ‘relations’ with the Commander” (often true) and the slightly-less-regular “the Commander’s had an illegitimate child” (never true, and someone should explain to these folks how sylvari work). Again after HoT, I think there’s like. More about the Mordemoth-related stuff – not common, but stuff along the lines of “the Commander got taken over by Mordremoth and killed a guy and they had to restrain her”, “the Commander actually turned into a Mordrem but they cloned her with a plant cutting/just got another sylvari that looked like her and are pretending it’s the same one so we don’t freak out”, etc., closely followed by “no it’s totally true my sister’s friend’s dog’s grandmother said she was there and saw it happen stop laughing”.

Anyone close enough to Calydowan to have a chance of actually asking her already knows her enough to know it’s not true. Anyone close enough to Egg to try asking him about it already knows he’ll glare at you wordlessly until you slink away.

Orion Shadowheart -

Most rumours about Orion are regarding his and his bandmate Nyfit’s abrupt desertion of the Ash Legion – either why they did it, or where they are now. Though the latter is more “ongoing investigation” than “rumour”. They’re not the first to run off, so most of these whispers are relatively grounded in reality. The remainder of the Heart warband’s guesses are probably closest to the truth, having known both Orion and Nyfit’s particular closeness and Orion’s desire to find his sisters.
