New Year New Boo

Summary: In where [Y/n] and David ring in the New Year with each other. (Continuation of Rickmas Prompt 14 Icy Roads)

A/N: This crush I have on Alan's southern accent is something serious guys 🥴🥴it's just so cute and charming to me when he used it in this movie and Something the Lord Made (an equally fantastic movie!). Bonus points for it being easy for me to write the syntax and stuff for it bc again i'm a southern girl. ANYWAYS here is this cute little part two! Let me know if you enjoyed it (i'm thirsty for comments yall lolol)

A/N: AASDFASFH and i know Rickmas is over but you know what every day is Rickmas if you believe😭🤣😂 and I wanted to give these two some closure lol (and i'm in love with this character)

“Um miss ma’am someone is looking real cute in that lil’ outfit! ‘Bout to go see your man I assume?”

“Well firstly thank you because it is cute right?” [Y/n] chirped, turning carefully to show her outfit off to her friend who wolf whistled playfully at her. “But secondly you assume wrong because he isn’t my man.”

“Shoot not yet he isn’t, with that outfit on if he ain’t kissin’ you when it strikes midnight he might need to get his eyes checked.”

“Cassie!”

“I’m just saying,” she giggled, throwing her hands up and pushing herself off the couch to approach [Y/n] who was smoothing her clothes down with her arm that wasn’t in a sling. “I bet there’s a line of young cuties at the department tryna get with you. But oh no you picked yourself an old man that’s already done gone and broke some of your bones!”

“It’s not like he was tryin’ to do it on purpose!” [Y/n] corrected her approaching friend with a sharp glare and a pout. “Lord knows we didn’t have any business chasin’ anyone around when the roads were iced up like that. And plus.”

Walking up to the mirror that was hanging onto the back of her doorway to make sure her outfit and hair were still put together, she turned back to Cassie who still wore a light hearted grin.

“If those guys really wanted to get with me Cass, they’ve had more than enough chances to say somethin’ and they haven’t so I’m not about to sweat something like that.”

“That’s fair though you probably just intimidate them hon, with what being the top of your class at the academy and just two years after that becoming a detective? You know some men can’t handle a badass lady.”

“Well, that’s their loss because-.”

About to dismiss her friend not really caring if the men she worked with found her intimidating or not, a knock at the door had both of them looking up in its direction. Cassie’s face immediately lit up as she looked at [Y/n].

“Ooooh is that him?” She whispered yelled, excited about meeting the man that her friend had been talking about nonstop since the little confession that had been made to him weeks ago. “You didn’t tell me he was pickin’ you up and you got me standin’ around with my pajamas on like somebody’s grandma!”

Rolling her eyes, [Y/n] watched as her friend ran to grab a throw blanket that was lying bunched up on the couch and wrap it around herself to hide the pajamas that she was wearing.

“Yes that’s him and yes he’s pickin’ me up I can't drive right now remember ? That’s why I dragged you over in the first place.” [Y/n] hissed nodding her head towards her arm in a sling before continuing, “now calm down you’re actin’ like he’s here to pick you up and I don’t need you scarin’ him off.”

“Pff oh yeah scare him off, I’m not the one runnin’ people off the road,” Cassie scoffed as [Y/n] threw one last look that said ‘hush it’ before going to unbolt the locks on the door.

Opening the door, she already knew her cheeks were going to be hurting by the end of the night by the wide smile that found itself plastered on her face when she came face to face with the older man.

Dressed up with black dress pants and a tan button-up dress shirt that was accompanied with a dark blue tie that had some white pattern on it she couldn’t help but ogle at him for a second.

It’s not like she had never seen him like this considering his normal work attire was similar but goodness gracious he was still handsome as ever.

And wait a second, where was the five o’clock shadow that he usually rocked? Did he shave just for this? A giddiness rose in her stomach as she tried to contain her excitement, barely able to get out her sentence.

“Dave, either you just left the office or you’re about to take me to Brennan’s for a very fancy New Year’s eve dinner.”

“Then I guess we’re both ‘bout to be very disappointed,” he drawled, crossing his arms against his chest and leaning against the door frame with a smirk that had her grinning back at him.

“Because the only reservation we have is at la maison de David, which I have to say is lacking in the fancy decorations that Brennan’s has. Besides, Quarter’s probably already infested with drunk folks trying to ring in the New Year’s with alcohol poisionin’.”

“Well as long as I’m not doing the cooking, you won’t hear any complaints from me. And you're probably right about the Quarter. Best we avoid it as I don’t feel like gettin’ thrown up on by someone who had one too many of them hand grenades.”

“Good, glad we’re on the same page then partner.” His smirk never failed as he pushed himself upright and tentatively offered his hand to [Y/n] who gave him a bashful smile as she went to take it when,

“Ahem!”

A loud cough startled both of them, and had [Y/n] whipping around somehow forgetting that Cassie was still in the front room.

“Now I know you did not just forget that I was back here,” she said, blanket still wrapped around her as she waddled over to the door to get a glimpse of the visitor. “And here I thought you were gonna introduce me to your friend hon!”

“Shit-sorry Cass,” [Y/n] spoke as the heat of embarrassment filled her face while she moved aside a little so Cassie could meet David.

“David this is my friend Cassie. She's been comin’ by and stayin’ with me to help me out with this,” she nodded down to indicate her sling. “And Cassie, this is David, my literal partner in crime fighting.”

“Well hello, there detective! Cassie Thibodeaux’s the name. Well, Cassandra actually but the only person who uses it is my momma when she’s pissed or sister Alice at St.Mary’s,” she greeted cheerfully, thrusting her hand out to firmly shake David’s outstretched one. “Nice to finally meet the man that broke my poor girl’s bones!”

“Cass!”

The exasperation was clear in [Y/n]’s voice as Cassie turned around, a sly grin and a glint in her eyes that signaled she was up to no good on purpose. If there was one thing about her friend it was that she was going to say whatever whenever. A great quality to have until she was blabbing about the thing that [Y/n] didn’t want to be brought up again.

He had already apologized and heck she probably wouldn’t be going on a date with him if it hadn’t happened. Wait, this was a date right?

Not that they were a couple or anything yet but she was going to his house for dinner on New Year’s Eve and he had said they could talk about what she had basically confessed to him weeks ago.

Before she could get too deep in thought about it, David’s voice pulled her back to reality as he chatted with Cassie who was laughing up a storm at what was being said.

“I really did feel bad when we got to the hospital but then she woke up the first thing she started doing was insulting the doctors and trying to rip things out of her.” He spoke recalling what had happened a while after the accident and how [Y/n] was getting annoyed at all the poking when all she wanted was to just go home. “Then she told me she was going to buy some training wheels for my old a-”

“Okay that’s enough!” [Y/n] squeaked, clapping her hands loudly to grab both of their attention as she was a bit mortified about what she had said to him while she had been in pain. “We really need to head out before traffic gets any worse than it is.”

“Alright alright I’ll stop and let you both go,” Cassie said backing up from the door as [Y/n] made her way past her friend and just outside of the door so that she was next to David.

“I just wanted to be nosy and see who [Y/n] was about to ride off into the sunset with,” she continued to tease, causing another sigh to leave said woman even though she couldn’t help but smile at her friend who was being just plain silly. “But don't y’all get into too much trouble now and make sure you bring my girl home safe and sound detective no more broken bones!”

“Yes ma’am, no more broken bones though I can’t promise we won’t get into any trouble.” He replied before looking towards [Y/n] to ask, “ready?”

“Absolutely,” she replied instantly, shooting him a smile and then waving goodbye at her friend. “See you Cass I’ll text you and don’t burn my apartment down!”

“As David said, no promises but I’ll try, and you better!”

Shaking their heads and laughing at one another, Cassie, shut the door leaving both [Y/n] and David standing outside her apartment.

“Funny friend you got there,” he said, reaching his hand out again as he did earlier to take hers.

“Oh, you don’t even know the half of it, Friedman.” Was her response as she took his invitation letting him guide her and enjoying the warmth that radiated from his hand entwined with hers.

Dinner had been absolutely spectacular. Honestly way better than any restaurant considering they weren’t having to wait for a table or having to talk over the noise of other people’s conversations. And to add to it, the food was just mouth watering.

From the crawfish etouffee and grilled oysters that he had prepared to the tasty and not too sweet banana pudding that they had afterward to balance the salt out from the main course. Or that’s what they joked about at least.

All of it was just so good and she couldn’t help but feel sleepy and content as she reclined on his couch afterward with a glass of water to wash everything down.

“Now why didn't you tell me you could cook like that because that was just too good!” [Y/n] praised as David plopped down next to her sinking into the couch like she had to relax after the meal.

“Well thank you kindly [Y/n] but there are some things in life you gotta keep to yourself and my cookin’ is one of them,” he answered looking over to her and feeling amused at the sleepy smile on her face as she listened. “The last thing I need is to be volunteered up for the station's potluck because lord knows I won’t hear the end of it afterward.”

“I hear that, I don’t even know why we have to cook for it. It’s not like we don’t already do overtime on the reg but now they want us to do more stuff no thank you, that’s above my pay grade.”

His deep chuckle filled the room, drowning out the background noise of a New Year’s countdown party playing on the tv in front of them. In the same moment, she could feel herself being filled with a comforting warmth listening to his laugh and enjoying the rich sound of it.

“And here I thought you enjoyed stayin’ late at the office with me to finish up reports that some of your peers seem to have trouble gettin’ done.”

[Y/n]’s face scrunched up as if she had tasted something sour when he said that as the memory of many late nights at the station played in her head due to the stupidity of some of the people they had to work with. How hard really was it to transfer paper files onto the computer by someone’s last name?

“Unfortunately I’m not a fan of havin’ to organize other folks' stuff because they haven’t learned how to click a button or two,” she groused out before adding calmly, “but other than that I do have to admit the occasional late night investigative session with you is invigorating. It pays to have such a solid partner who knows what he’s doin’ so no complaints from me on that.”

“Really no complaints even though I broke your collarbone and almost killed you?”

“Hey, I didn’t say I liked your driving, only that you’re a good partner and I think we make quite a team.”

“Touche,” he nodded as a thoughtful expression crossed his features before, “but now that you mentioned it I think we should talk about that shouldn’t we? The whole partner thing.”

For a second she didn’t understand what he was alluding to as she cocked an eyebrow up a questioning expression on her features. Partner thing? What in the sweet baby Jesus was he talking about? Meeting his hazel eyes that seem to glitter mischievously along with the smirk that was slowly becoming wider. She pondered for a second before,

“Oh jeez, Friedman, are you bringing up what I think you’re bringing up?” [Y/n] sputtered out her face warming up at the sudden change of conversation as she gave him a wide eyed look. He didn’t at all seem phased by it, more like amused as she saw a twitch of his lips upward. Of course, he would find amusement in it. “What a segue if I’ve ever heard any! Is that really how you’re goin’ to start the conversation.”

A mock offended look crossed his features as he threw his hands up at her.

“What, I thought we were in agreement that we were gonna talk about it after you were no longer high as a kite and dyin'?”

“I know but well shit,” she groaned, resting her good arm on her thigh and bending over a little to rest her chin in her palm. “Now that you got me all in the spotlight I’m not even sure what to say.”

“Well, how ‘bout I do you a favor [L/n] and start off with askin’ you what in the hell do you see in someone my age that you can’t find in one of those young boys at the station.”

“Considerin’ none of the station boys seem interested in me in the first place,'' she huffed out remembering something similar Cassie had said to her earlier, “I think it’s easy to understand why I like you so much seein’ that I’ve been partnered up with you for about two years. And I actually really enjoy workin’ with you. Even if it’s those dreaded late night shifts.”

“Somethin’ tells me those boys are more interested than you think, especially with how p-,” the word caught in his throat and [Y/n] was quick to turn her head to look at him with a questioning gaze.

Catching her gaze and the hint of interest in them, he cleared his throat before continuing. “With how close in age some of y’all are and the way you do your job better than most of them I say you probably got a few more admirers than you think.”

Shrugging she scooted back con the couch and let her head fall back before lazily turning it to look at him.

“Even so, I just think you’re pretty great Dave,” she added, throwing a grin at him that had him reciprocating it with his own as he maneuvered himself so that he was resting one side of his face on the palm of his hand. “I know we put on a face and such when we go to work, but you’re one of the few people who’s the same sarcastic ass off duty as you are on, and pardon me it’s kinda sexy.”

“Only kinda? I think it’s probably one of my more redeeming qualities.” He quipped “Who doesn’t love a sarcastic asshole bursting in their office and accusing folks of a setup.”

“Ah and there Mr. Sarcastic is, glad you could join the party,” she laughed remembering him telling her that whole debacle with the one senator from a few years ago. “But the fact that you were right made it less assholish and again you definitely raised your sexy factor up by this much,” she teased, raising her hand up and showing the wide gap she made between her thumb and index finger.

“You know hearin’ you reference me and the word ‘sexy’ in one sentence is not somethin’ I put on my bingo card for this year.”

“What? Gonna report me to HR if I keep it up?”

“And get saddled up with some of the other guys in the station as a partner, no ma’am I prefer to be alive in the next six months.”

Raucous laughter broke out from both of them, their shoulders shaking from his fatalistic outlook of being partnered up with someone else. Honestly, she probably wouldn’t trade him in either with all the experience he had in the field, sans the car accident of course.

He had been the best partner these past years whether it be on duty or off duty he had always been a phone call away if she needed him. And something about it just made her giddy about it even if those gestures potentially meant nothing. It was still sweet and it kinda made her fall in love even though she had tried to keep it shut away.

“Don’t blame you one bit on that,” [Y/n] managed to say coming down from the little high as her stomach and cheeks ached from all the laughing that was happening. Wiping a tear out of her eye with her good arm, her smile never left as she looked back at the man who was calming down.

“But you know, the wild thing is even with all of that, your terrible drivin’, your sarcasm, and everything else, I still really really like you, and,'' biting the inside of her cheek she couldn’t help but feel the air leave her lungs as hazel eyes locked onto her with a softness that just made her heart squeeze.

She really did like the older man regardless of the age chasm they had in between and it seemed to help her find some courage. So with that little fire in her, she sat upright again and faced him before asking,

“I was just curious ‘bout how you felt, and maybe, you know...we could be partners outside of work too?”

Other than the tv that was still going on in the background silence crept around them as she let the question sit between them. Even her breathing seemed to go silent as she gazed up at Dave who was holding her stare while the cogwheels in his brain seem to be turning.

The silence felt like an eternity and she would have laughed at how cliche it all was if it wasn’t her own feelings on the line. So to say that the relief she felt was palpable when he spoke was an understatement.

“You know, if we got involved we would have to stop bein’ partners right?” He murmured scooting over towards [Y/n] and resting his arm along the top of the couch.

“I know I know and I’m sorry because I know it’s gonna be a shit ton of paperwork we’re gonna have to do. And of course the whole new partner thing,” she added on with a sigh more concerned about that part than the amount of red tape there was bound to be.

“Mhmmm that and you know folks are gonna have questions about this whole thing?”

“Oh believe me I’m aware. Should have heard Cassie playin’ twenty questions with me when I told her.” [Y/n] grumbled remembering the way her friend burst into her apartment a few weeks ago armed and ready with questions about what was happening.

“And knowin’ that everyone is gonna wanna be in your business when they eventually find out because you know folks are noisy ‘round here you’re alright with it?”

“Well-,” she paused mid sentence, noticing the warmth that radiated off him now that he was suddenly closer to her. It brought a demure smile to her face as she scooted herself toward him which had his eyes twinkling at the action. “We’ll cross that bridge when we cross it and plus they’re going to be in your business too.”

“You know my last relationship ended in divorce right?” He questioned as the warmth of breath tickled her skin causing goosebumps to prickle all over her arms.

She was very much aware that the last relationship he had ended in a divorce but there had been other circumstances that no longer existed. And well who was she to not take her chances with the man that she had ogled at more than appropriate during her time working with him? What could she say, she was young and in love.

“Dave what's with the twenty questions yes I’m aware, you know that,” she responded lowly, tilting her head just enough to brush her nose against his and listening to the breath that he sucked in at the contact. Yet he didn’t flinch and he didn’t back away, and it had the butterflies in her stomach going wild. “And my last relationship was with some guy in college who just wanted to get with my roommate so we are both gonna be a little rusty.”

For a moment they just sat there, quietly, their foreheads touching and the sound of a countdown beginning to happen on tv and fireworks already going off outside.

“Dave?”

“You’re a pretty lil’ thing you know that right?” He confessed softly at the call of his name. As sudden as his words were, they had her beaming at him and gently brushing her nose against his again as she tried to look up at him through her eyelashes. “So you’ll have to excuse me because I’m still tryin’ wrap my head around the fact that my very young and very sweet partner actually enjoys my bitchin’ and sarcasm about folks. ”

“Well don’t say it like I’m that young Friedman makin’ it sound all weird and junk,” she snorted causing a deep chuckle to rumble through him, “and don’t take too long wrappin' your head ‘round it because yes I love it when you bitch people out and two from the sound of it,” motioning her head to the tv to signal the folks cheering on it, “we got fifteen seconds till New Year’s and I’m hopin’ to at least get a kiss to start it off right.”

“Think we be a good team outside work?” He asked quietly, lips just centimeters away from hers as the arm behind them went to gently wrap around her shoulders.

“Keep treating me as nicely as you always have for the past two years and we’ll be golden boo.”

“Don’t ever use that word again.”

“Can’t promise you I won’t,” she giggled, tilting her head up as they listened to the chants on tv.

“3, 2, 1!”

The sound of fireworks outside multiplied tenfold as she felt his hand cup the back of her head and his lips press so tenderly against hers. What was going on outside with the light show couldn’t compare to the bubbling and bursting in her chest that she felt as she melted into the kiss. Everything about it was so sweet, so warm, so loving and it was better than she could have ever imagined as he dragged away from her leaving her a bit breathless.

“Happy New Year Dave.”

She murmured softly, chest heaving as her eyes shimmered brightly and a smile lit up her face just as the fireworks outside lit the night sky up.

As sweet as the kiss was, an even sweeter and gentler smile appeared on his features as he leaned down once more, and against her lips he whispered,

“Happy New Year [Y/n].”

Before claiming them once more in one of the many kisses they would be sharing from then on.

That's all folks!!!!!! My last fic for the year and an apt one to for ringing in the new year! Can I just tell you guys how much I've enjoyed being in Alan Rickman fandom and creating content for it though??🥺🥺🥺

Everyone is just so talented and fun and I'm just really happy that I've been able to be super absorbed in it these past months bc idk about some of yall but this year almost took me out.😭😭😭 A lot of discouring things seemed to happen this year but the fandom kept a girl aflot so I'm forever thankful for you all!

I hope that next year is kinder to everyone and I hope that our fandom continues to grow even if the man this fandom is dedicated to is no longer with us (weeps) I hope he is looking down on us like 'these folks are wild but I admire the creativity ❤'. i appreciate all you thots (affectionally) and I hope you all go safely into the new year ❤❤❤

Started writing this back in the summer, I haven’t touched it in months, but I haven’t given up on it yet either. I just didn’t think the plot fully through before starting it lol! Maybe I will get back to it, who’s to say?

I am actually super excited about this! The idea has been occupying my mind for a few weeks now:) I think this one’s kinda self-indulgent, but my bday is coming up in 1.5 months, so I’m allowing it lol😅 no, but I think it’s actually gonna be really fun, and I hope you guys think so too! Stay tuned!

1301 hits across all of my fics on ao3! Again, HOWWW I LOVE YOU ALL

Collectively wrote 71,089 words across the fics officially posted to ao3! I didn’t know I could do that wtf!!!

Stargazing currently sits at about 61k words, which is approximately 122 A4 pages, which is also about the same as the word count of Carrie by Stephen King! (I never read it, but it’s still super freaking impressive!!)

And let me be sappy for a moment lol:) After years of stalking the tumblr litg tag, I finally caved in and made myself a sideblog too lol! I had a very very shitty year, but this place has been my safe space. I am so grateful I got to know so many of you - you are all so wonderful and funny and talented and inspiring! I’m not usually a hug person, but I am squeezing you all so tight right now❤️ thank you for being here and ranting/venting/crying/laughing with me, I love you all!❤️❤️❤️

Once Upon A Time In Wonderland Rewatch: 1x01 Down the Rabbit Hole

So my mum and I love this spin off and rewatch at least once every 2 years. If you haven’t given it a try yet, I can’t recommend it enough! It has complex romance, creative ideas, strong friendships, terrifying villains and a solid plot.

One thing though is that some of the creatures scare me so much that I have to watch those parts with my eyes closed lol. It’s kinda thrilling though, not knowing when to close your eyes. A short lil fic because Oh My God, Arthyr My Beloved,,, I also just wanted to write some Eira angst with at least a kinda-happy ending lol :')

Warnings: Cursing, as well as mentions of injury and being attacked/jumped. Ask to tag if I forgot anything!

Arthyr had always found the day-to-day routine of princehood rather dull. You’d think it would be a walk in the park, and he was the first to admit that he did have it significantly better than most. But even then, there were still downsides.

The constant circle of guards that stalked his every move was certainly chief among his complaints. Really, what sort of self-respecting seventeen-year-old couldn’t even take a walk by himself? It was humiliating.

He was on one such walk- just a simple stroll to unwind after a particularly tense dinner with his parents- when he heard the falls of familiar boots a few meters to his left. They turned into an alleyway, the one a few blocks southwest of the castle with the graffiti at the far end and the family of raccoons living in the garbage cans. Thank god he’d taken the time to memorize the kingdom’s layout as a child; his little getaways would have been much more difficult otherwise.

“I think I heard some disturbance over that way,” Arthyr blurted immediately, pointing forwards and to the right, down a side street lined with book shops and apothecaries. “If you all would take a moment to investigate, I’d be very much appreciative.”

Three of the four guards flanking him nodded, hands apprehensively gravitating to their sabers as they walked the few meters to investigate the prince’s ruse. Thankfully, the remaining guard was new to his position and had yet to learn that the prince needed a careful eye on him at all times, lest he mysteriously vanish. He was remarkably stealthy for his height.

Arthyr waited a mere moment, listening to the other three guards grow steadily further away, before slipping silently behind the back of the fourth and jogging into the alleyway he’d heard the boots duck into.

“Eira?” he called in a stage whisper, smiling to himself and dragging his right hand along the coarse brick wall to keep himself on track. “I know you’re down here, silly bastard, I heard you.”

A hefty sigh greeted him from further along, lower than Arthyr had expected. He must’ve been sitting on the ground.

“I thought you said you were gonna be at home tonight.” The voice was congested and hollow.

“I was. But now I’m not.” Arthyr’s brow furrowed as he turned to face Eira’s voice, then sat beside him, careful not to dirty his cloak. “You sound cross.”

“I’m fine,” Eira bit back.

“Clearly not. What’s the matter?” Arthyr reached a hand out to carefully grasp Eira’s shoulder.

“Don’t touch me,” Eira snapped, jerking his shoulder away.

“Eira, what-

“Go back home, Arty, it’s cold.”

“You say that as if it’s anything new,” Arthyr said with a roll of his eyes. “Really, what’s come over you? You sound like you’ve been crying. Tell me.”

Eira cursed, then stood and continued walking down the alley.

Arthyr could hear the limp to his steps.

“You’re hurt? Eira-”

“I told you it’s fine.” His voice cracked at the end. “Go. Home.”

“No.” Arthyr stood and began to walk beside Eira, his longer strides making it impossible for Eira to pass him without running, which would’ve been damn near impossible with that limp. “I’m not leaving you alone until you tell me what happened and how I can help.”

In his frustration, Eira slammed his hand against a nearby trash can, crying out on impact as pain seared back through his wrist.

“Something with your hand, too,” Arthyr sighed, holding a hand out towards Eira. “May I?”

Eira hesitated before shakily holding his left hand out for Arthyr to gingerly take.

His wrist and hand were shoddily wrapped in bandages, and he heard Eira wince when he put pressure on the joint. The bandages were slightly damp...

But they were cold. So it was just melted snow. Good.

“Who was it this time?” Arthyr asked gently, carefully pulling Eira’s sleeve down to cover the bandages before letting go and crossing his hands back over his cane.

“Some jackass fuckin’ kids,” Eira spat, leaning against the opposite wall before sliding down to sit. Arthyr took up his spot on Eira’s right yet again.

“They jumped at me, just tryin’ to scare me, and I… got startled. Accidentally hit one of them with some ice. And then they kicked my ass. Six of them, I think? Maybe more. I couldn’t see.”

“They attacked you because of the ice..? Or because you hit them?”

“Obviously because of the fucking ice,” Eira spat, then sighed. “I’m sorry. I’m just kind of on edge still.”

“That’s alright. I know how you get sometimes, I don’t mind.”

They sat in relative silence for a few moments before Arthyr heard a scratching on his left.

“You’re picking at the scar again.”

“What?”

“The scar. You’re picking at it.” Arthyr lifted his hand, giving Eira ample time to move his own away before gently guiding his touch away from the mark on his face. “It’s going to bleed again if you keep prodding at it like that.”

“I’ve had it for years and it’s only bled twice. I think I’ll be fine.” Arthyr could hear the roll of his eyes but chose to ignore it.

“Well, here. I can’t be away much longer or my father’ll have my head for running off again.” Arthyr rifled through his pockets, then pulled out a few coins and handed them to Eira. “I’m assuming you’ve got some scrapes and cuts, too, so buy yourself some antiseptic. And get supper while you’re at it, I know you haven’t eaten.”

“You sure you’re not magick? You seem pretty fuckin’ psychic to me” Eira breathed out a weak laugh but didn’t take the coins in Arthyr’s palm. “I’m fine.”

“You know I’m not going to take no for an answer.”

“Arty, really, I-”

“Eira, darling,” Arthyr mused, “denying the direct orders of the prince could be reasonably considered as treason, no? And I have ordered you to take this money and go buy yourself some damn food.”

Eira chuckled again, more like himself this time, and reluctantly slipped the coins into a hidden pocket of his jacket. “Thanks, your highness.”

“Ugh, you know I hate it when you call me that,” Arthyr laughed, standing and wiping snow from his cloak before holding a hand out to help Eira up.

“Of course I do. That’s why I do it.”

“Scoundrel.”

“Rich kid.”

“Street rat.”

“Pretty boy.”

“Little- wait, what?”

“What?”

“Prince Arthyr!”

Both heads turned sharply at the intrusion of the guard’s shout, just outside the entrance to the alleyway.

“Shit,” Eira whispered, looking about frantically. “I gotta hide, they’re gonna think I was trying to shiv you or something.”

“Find someplace quick, dumbass,” Arthyr hissed, hurriedly shoving Eira to the left. “I remember there being some boxes over there when I was here the other week.”

Eira dove, skidding into the snow behind the conveniently-placed stack of crates just as one of the crown’s guards rounded the corner, heaving a sigh of relief at the sight of the prince standing, unscathed, at the tail end of the alleyway.

“Goodness, your majesty, why the hell are you in this dingy place? Not fit for a man of your rank, you know. And I really don’t think you’re supposed to be on your own, regardless.”

“Thought I heard something else awry and must’ve taken a wrong turn in my investigation,” Arthyr lied, walking briskly past the guard and allowing his cloak to whip against his face. “I’ll try not to get turned around next time I take a detour.”

Lovesick

You and Sebastian were unexpected. Literally the chances of you guys getting together were so off and you guys were at different times of your lives. He was in his late 30s, already living most of his life as a successful actor. While you were in your early 20s still in college working on your doctoral degree to become a Pharmacist (It was the only major I could think of atm because it’s the one I’m planing on lol.) You guys met at the cafe near your campus. You always went there every morning and would spot him drinking his morning coffee with his nose stuck in a new script he was reading. You two would sneak glances at each other, admiring each other from afar. Until one day when the cafe was fairly packed and you needed a place to sit. You spotted his familiar face and asked him if you could sit in the seat across from him. Obviously he agreed and you guys talked, getting to know each other the whole time. When it was time for you to leave for classes, you guys exchanged numbers and kept in touch.

Which brings us to today. You and Sebastian have been going strong for about a year now and were approaching your second year together. Though you two are as happy as can be and are still in the honeymoon phase (even after a year), the first few months of the relationship were quite rough. There was an obvious age gap between you two, it didn’t bother you two as much, but the public didn’t react too nicely about it. Your parents weren’t too fond of the idea of you dating an older man, but after getting to know him they knew his intentions with you were well. Same goes for your friends and family. When it came to his fans and the media finding about your relationship, that’s when it went to shit.

The media made Sebastian look like some creep who was going through a midlife crisis for dating someone much younger than him. A few “fans” even claimed that he were a “groomer” after pictures of you and him heavily making out on the street were released. These issues caused some bumps in the road for your relationship, though after many arguments, you two realized that the only opinions that mattered were each other’s.

Now you two were staying at a hotel in Paris. Sebastian was currently working on a big project, “The 355”, something he was very excited about. This was one of the first projects that he was really involved in, from script to screen, he played a pretty big role in this project.

You were typing up a report for your class when Sebastian entered the hotel room. He was still in his set clothes, a light blue shirt, dark jeans, and a pair of Chelsea boots. He approached the bed where you were typing and pressed a kiss to your temple.

“Hey sweetheart, how’s school going?” He greeted you as he settled himself on the bed, laying on his side.

“Meh, it’s going...but I finished my report on time. Now I just need to proofread it.” You smiled as you finished typing the last sentence of your report. When Sebastian discovered he was going to film in Paris, he immediately told you, knowing you’ve been dreaming of visiting Paris. Luckily for the both of you, your school allowed you to do online learning (it probably doesn’t work like that but just go with it) and you were able to tag along with him.

“I’m sure it’s prefect, you’re a great writer.” He complimented, you hummed in response. Turning to him you run your hand through his short hair making him lean into your touch. You loved his fluffy hair but the short hair was starting to grow on you.

Sebastian turned his head and pressed a kiss into your palm, stormy eyes gazing up at you.

“How has your day been?” You asked.

“It was good. We got through a good amount of scenes without messing up, so I’d say it was a successful day.” He answered. You smiled at his enthusiasm. Sebastian’s face always lit up when he was talking about a project and it was one of the things you admired most about him, his passion for his work.

“So, you’ve been cooped up in this damn hotel all day. Why don’t you come to dinner with me and the cast tonight? You’ve been waiting to visit Paris all your life and you haven’t even been outside this hotel for days.” He suggested. It was true, you haven’t done much but do school work, order room service, and binge watch shows on Netflix.

“Are you sure they’d want me to come? I might be intruding.” Honestly you were nervous to meet the rest of the cast. You’ve met Jessica a few times but they were brief and she seemed like she didn’t like you. Though that could just be your thoughts making you paranoid, you were still nervous to meet the people Seb worked with. You didn’t want them to think you were using him for money or to travel around the world because you weren’t. You loved Sebastian for himself, not the money and the fame, you could care less about all that.

But they were still Sebastian’s friends and you wanted to have a good first impression on them. You didn’t want them to think you were just some immature college girl who needed money to pay off her college funds.

Noticing you were drifting off, Sebastian pressed another kiss into your palm and grasps it. “You wouldn’t be intruding, Jessica actually suggested you come along.” He mentioned.

“Are you sure?”

“Positive, baby. Come on, let’s put this stuff away and get ready. We’re having dinner at the Eiffel Tower.”

“I— the Eiffel Tower?”

To say you were intimidated and scared shitless was an understatement. Here you were in the Eiffel Tower having dinner with some of the most talented women in Hollywood. Like seriously Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, and Diane Kruger. Of course Seb and Édgar Ramírez where there as well. Then there was you, NYC local college student. You didn’t wanna say you felt out of place, but you did. These were successful people who probably starred in some of the movies you watched growing up. Now you’re literally in the Eiffel fucking Tower having dinner with them.

Dinner was going smoothly, everyone was talking about the set, shared some funny stories, and you were keeping to yourself simply eating your steak. That was until the attention was brought to you.

“So (y/n), Sebastian mentioned you were in college, what are you studying?” Jessica asked. Everyone turned to you and you swear you felt like a deer in headlights. Seb nudged your thigh with his, a reassuring smile on his face.

“Yes I am! I’m actually taking a PharmD program at St. John Fisher to become a Pharmacist.” you answered.

“For your masters?” She followed up curiously, slightly leaning forward to you.

“No, for my doctoral degree.” You corrected her proudly. You didn’t want to come off as an ass, but you were proud of your work and you worked your ass off for it.

Everyone at the table was taken back by your response. Except Sebastian, who had a just as proud smile on his face. They knew you were in college but not studying something as serious as Pharmacy.

“St.John Fisher College? I had a cousin that went there, it’s a great college.” Lupita was the first to break the silence.

“So are you working in the field yet? For some experience?” Penélope chimed in. Sebastian snorted, “Oh she has experience, trust me.”

You chuckled as you softly smacked Seb’s bicep, “Well currently, I’m interning as a Pharmacy Tech at a hospital pharmacy. They’re thinking about making me a permanent one until I graduate so fingers crossed!”

As you answered all their questions about your personal life and your major, Sebastian couldn’t help but just admire you. Just like how you admired the way he talked about his projects, he admired the way you got lost in rambling about your soon career. The way your eyes lit up, how your hands moved while you talked, and that hint of a smile on your face. He absolutely adored every single thing about you.

Dinner continued, the last question for you about why you chose to do college in New York, which segwayed into a conversation about— well New York. As the others talked about their love for the city, Sebastian wrapped his arm around your shoulders. Your back was now pressed to his chest, both of you not listening to the conversation. You pressed a kiss to his arm and looked back at him.

“Hey you.” You hummed at him rubbing your thumb along his arm.

“Hi.” He gazed down at you with that smile that made his eyes crinkle. The moment was interrupted by your phone ringing. Quickly glancing at the contact ID, it was the hospital pharmacy you interned for.

“You should take that.” Seb whispered into your ear.

“No, Seb that’s rude. We’re at dinner, I’m sure it can wait.”

“I have a good feeling about this call, draga mea.” He coaxed you. Having a feeling that he might be right you excuse yourself from the table. When you’re gone the table goes quiet.

“Sebastian, you’ve got one hell of a girlfriend.” Penélope stated as the rest of the table agreed.

“She’s so smart! What the hell, a doctoral degree? Kudos to her because the amount of motivation I would need to even try!” Jessica followed up with an amazed look on her face.

“I think you guys are forgetting to mention how whipped they both are for each other! Those two were in their own world over there!” Lupita pointed out. The whole table laughed as Sebastian was turning red. Of course he was whipped, he knew he was.

“I love her guys, she’s, she’s something else. The spunk she has, her intelligence, she’s-,” Sebastian began to list but was cut off by Édgar, “Out of your league?”

The whole table burst into laughter as they agreed with Édgar. You were also coming back to the table after your call. Sebastian spotted you, eyes connecting to yours immediately.

“Everything alright?”

“They gave me the permanent job!”

so lik the two of you arrive at your family's house and they let you in

and they're like "honey!! it's so nice to finally meet your boyfriend!" in your native language right

and then you translate

and for the rest of the night you're translating what everyone is saying

then you get home and it's really late

but you had a good time and it seems like your family really likes jay

so you're happy

after a movie and a cuddle session on the couch you both get ready for bed and go to sleep

and after just laying there for 15 minutes in silence jay starts poking your side

so you're like wHAT

and he goes: can you help me learn (your language)?🥺 i wanna surprise your parents the next time I see them🥺🥺

after the call ends jake gently places his head on your shoulder and goes:

"i think your native language is really nice"

"do you think I'd do good if I tried learning it?"

so you're like of "course you would, like dUh brO you like physics..learning a language will be like easy for u since you're so smart :D"

and he'd seriously like, STUDY it

and you're just so proud of him

also it wouldn't be him if the first phrase he learned wasn't 'i love you' or 'can i get a kiss?'

so this boy now goes 'i love you so much' in your native language every time he sees you :(

your relationship with sunghoon is still pretty new

let's say you've been dating for like 2 months

and you haven't really told your family yet

and one day you're on a videocall with one of your family members

and he slept over at your place

you're sitting in the living room after you've made breakfast

and you and that family member are on a videocall

and while that's going on sunghoon wakes up in your bedroom

and he's like ???

where r u

so he quickly does a bit of a morning routine

and goes to find you

and accidentally walks into the frame of your camera

so your family member just saw a random guy just emerge from your bedroom

and they're like ? who's that behind you

so you're like ??? there's noone behind me?? and you turn around and get startled since sunghoon is just standing by the door to your bedroom

he's like:🕴️

you fall off the couch and sunghoon's like "baby, are you okay???"

and he's trying to help you up

and your family member saw that mess unfold lol

after sunghoon checks up on you and the both of you sit down your family member asks a million questions and refuses to let sunghoon go out of frame for even a second

so sunghoon sits through the rest of the call next to you on the couch while you're answering all these questions your family member is asking

and he doesn't understand anything

after the call ends he probably walks back to your bedroom and falls asleep again since the encounter with your family member completely drained him of energy

since we know this boy's an introvert

and introverts have to recharge after being social and engaging with people

also the whole entire situation probably shook with him a lil

after he wakes up again he walks into the kitchen where you are and hugs you from behind

and then he softly asks "do you think you could maybe teach me a few words in your language?👉👈"

and of course you can't say no

who could say no to sunghoon???

so you help him learn some words

and the next time you facetime your family this boi is ready to impress them with his speaking skills😌

you and the other enhypen members were eating dinner together at their dorms

hee decided to make ramyeon and so the other members and you decided to help him and make some for yourselves

but sunoo was in their 'make-up room' doing his skincare routine (so you took it upon yourself to make one for him too)

after you set the noodles to cook your phone started going off

so jay and hee decided to compete and see who'd get to the phone first (since it was in the living room)

and so they ran to get it

knocking a lot of stuff over in the process

and scaring jake who went to the bathroom earlier

then jay (who was leading btw) tripped over a random bag on the floor and hee then tripped over him

when they got back to the kitchen they were a lil bruised up so you decided to take care of them first and just let the call go through

they both had some light bruises and jay somehow managed to also get a few scratches

so he was bleeding a bit

he was being extra

"pPalLi hElP jiGeUm riGht nOw okay???"

(i swear i love jay with all my heart im not trying to make him seem like he's annoying or anything)

you had to save him :')

so you got a few bandaids and patched them both up a bit

after that you went to the living room to call back to whoever was calling you in peace since everyone was busy in the kitchen

it was one of your childhood friends

you called them and they started nagging you for not picking up and scaring them

and right in that moment sunoo came out of the 'make-up room' and went into the living room where he left his bag when he got back from practice (the same bag that caused jay to trip lol)

and he heard you and your friend pretty much yelling at each other and bickering through the phone

and he got curious

so he walked up to you and was like

"who are you taking to?(✿^‿^)"

and the friend on the other line heard him and was like

Okay, attempt 2 - That’ll teach me to try ever posting from the mobile app. This is a rewrite from scratch and I’m way too tired to reread and see if it makes sense or if there are typos, it’s probably not a good thing this is longer than the original though.

Short version: Kakashi’s not as experienced as you might think, but this doesn’t translate into lack of skill in any way.

The long version: Ahhh so I go back on forth on this but I’ma attempt to think this through here. Okay, so, fandom has generally two sides when it comes to Kakashi and this topic. He’s either the completely suave, smooth ladies’ man who has all the one night stands or on account of his issues he’s a passive, stuttering virgin who’s constantly flustered.

Neither of these are that accurate. So I do get ladies man Kakashi to a point. It comes from the fact that he is quite smooth? And women do seem to like him quite easily in the series. And Kakashi definitely has the capacity to be a charmer, and is quite good at flirting when his job requires it or it’s a stranger etc. He’s good at reading people and winning them over. This is more complicated when he’s faced with someone he’s attracted to, or that has the potential to mean something to him. He still might be charming, but he’s very good at using this to keep you further from him, so you can’t really get to know him or get close to him so it’s not quite the same. It’s his way of controlling the distance between you.

Now, when it comes to experience, I don’t think Kakashi’s incapable of using casual sex as some kind of a coping mechanism (it’s not the healthiest), but if he was going to do this, it’d be during the latter part of his ANBU years. I can see him having sex as just a means to forget and remember he’s alive, and quell an urge, with basically faceless partners, or maybe complete strangers on missions. This does make him feel even lonelier after a while though, and it’s not really what he wants. Eventually having sex with women he’ll never see again serves to make him more miserable, and I think by the time we see him at the beginning of the series he doesn’t really do this anymore. So I wouldn’t say he’s completely inexperienced sexually at least, though he definitely is romantically.

Generally after that, Kakashi’s gonna reserve sex for someone who he has a deep emotional and physical connection with, but God forbid he ever calls it what it is - a relationship. Basically, if he’s sleeping with you, he pretty much loves you whether he knows it or not. And if he’s comparing that to his past experiences, he really feels the difference and cherishes it all the more (but it still scares him and he won’t admit it to himself.

So here’s how I see it. There’s always been a sexual chemistry between him and you, and a physical and romantic attraction. But of course Kakashi is Kakashi so he does absolutely nothing about it and doesn’t want to let you do anything about it. Still, you’re surprisingly persistent, and you do become close to each other in a friendly capacity, in whatever way Kakashi’s able to participate in that. But then again he’s assed enough to keep his face clean shaven so he can wear his mask, so maybe he does, like I do head canon that he’s a very clean person and he probably feels like it is a *bit* cleaner that way but I’m leaning towards nah he just leaves it alone, but will trim it from time to time when it gets too wild or if it bothers you. I do think he probably has slightly more body hair than you’d expect tbh, but his hair is so light especially against his complexion so it’s not really noticeable. I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)

It does depend on the mood between you, what kinda day he’s had, what position you’re in etc but he places a lot of value on sex in your relationship, for the intimacy and emotional bonding, not just the physical pleasure. So there are a lot of times where he��d be super intimate. Kakashi’s a man who chooses his words and actions very carefully in normal life and during sex he allows himself to let all that go. You wake up agitated after a bad dream. It wasn't terrifying as a nightmare, just… Bad. You can't remember what it was all about now that you woke up, yet you feel like it was something bad.

Maybe you're starting to lose it. Or maybe you just had a bad night and that's it.

Well, "night", again you're floating through space, time doesn't really apply over here, yet to keep the crew from feeling too alienated, Black and White decided to create a little routine so everyone can be occupied but also have time to relax and do something that brings joy to the crewmates.

It may be silly, but in a situation that you don't know when you'll go back home and if you're going to go back at all, is pretty terrifying. So something silly like that really helps.

You like to record vocal diaries every time you're going to bed, and sometimes when you wake up. Sometimes you just want to record your crazy dreams, others are to help you feel more energized to start the day.

To be honest, you don't want to get out of bed, it's so comfy and you just wish you could stay and enjoy the comfort of your bed for a little longer. Besides, because of your nightmare you feel like you haven't slept at all!

But of course, all good things must end.

"- WAKE UP, SLEEPY HEAD!" Red was banging on your door.

"- You're late, dumbass." You heard a voice that you could only guess was from Orange.

You look up at the clock on top of your nightstand to see that you were in fact, one hour late.

"- I-I'm coming!" You scuttle to put on your clothes. Normally you would have taken a shower first thing when you get out of your room but… Well, you're too late for that!

"- You'll miss breakfast!" Red said, apparently he was still waiting for you.

After awkwardly changing your clothes, you opened the door to find Red and Cyan waiting for you. Red had hugged you tight the moment you appeared.

"- What took you so long, sleeping beauty?" He ruffed your hair again, this time being a little more gentle, and you guess it's because of how sleepy you still are.

"- Ugh, I didn't manage to get enough sleep." You whine, even if you did sleep, somehow you still feel like you were robbed of a good peaceful night.

Maybe it was the worries clouding your mind. The fear of never going back to Earth.

"- Yeah, I know how you feel." Red said while pulling you to follow him to the cafeteria. Cyan was right behind.

"- Really?" You asked the energetic man, concerned he is also dealing with nightmares.

"- Yeah, ya know? I heard things crawling in the vents all night." He said, darkening his tone of voice when he said literally the creepiest shit ever.

"- What!?" You said, well- Practically yelled. You felt like you instantly woke up at the idea of something dangerous lurking in the ventilation. N-not that you were scared or anything!

"- Nah, I'm joking." He turned his head to look at you with a little smug face, proud of how he manages to catch you.

"- Oh, come on man! You scared me…" You elbowed him weakly. You almost had a heart attack thinking about it!

"- Ha! Don't worry okay? It was just a joke to wake you up. If you're scared so much than-"

"- You don't need to worry, [Y/N]. I can reassure you that nothing is going to hurt you." Red was interrupted when Cyan decided to butt their way into the conversation.

"- What- How are you so sure?" You were surprised by their sudden voice. They spoke so seriously, you turned around and saw how they didn't seem to be joking.

"- I… Won't let it happen." They said almost questioning it. Not only was the idea of protecting their prey absolutely ridiculous and foreign to them, but they were considering the fact that it sounded pretty obvious, why would you even question it?

"- Come on man, I was just about to say that." Red said, a little bit shyly compared to his normal attitude. He looked so down even though he was trying to keep his smile on his face.

Tension was slowly rising and you were starting to catch on to it.

"- I- Wait, are your two really that worried about me? Come on guys, don't worry about it! I can protect myself too, you know?" You said trying to place yourself in-between them, distracting them from the weird stares they kept throwing at each other.

"- Sure you can, so, let's just go to the cafeteria already." Red's entire demeanor had changed out of nowhere. You were a little scared about how off putting it is to see him… Angry?

Cyan had taken your left arm, pulling you closer to them than to Red. It wasn't too obvious to an outsider perspective, yet it did make a bit of a difference when you were pulled closer to them.

"- He is acting strange." They whispered to you, hopefully Red didn't hear it. You didn't say anything as you only looked at Cyan with a concerned expression.

The day hasn't even started yet and it was already going to be a bad day.

While this whole event was happening, Cyan was pissed at how the human Red was acting strange. Not only had he taken you in his arms for a long period of time (a pretty long hug for "friends"), Red had made sure to not include Cyan in the conversation. Hell, he even made sure to keep you near him rather than them! What was he doing, trying to piss them off? And for what purpose??

The thing that really sparked annoyance in Cyan's head was how he lies blatantly to your face, only so you could be scared so he could sound like the hero in this situation. Cyan knows Red didn't listen to them crawling the vents, Red was sleeping like a rock the entire time Cyan was wandering around the ventilation.

Cyan had entered his room to collect information, and oh boy, had they collected some information. They started to think that maybe you would be better off away from Red.

Cyan had soon caught what Red was trying to do, he was trying to court you. And what a pathetic display of courting, it's not like Red was bringing any proof of how "strong" and "protective" he could be to you.

If Cyan were in your place, they would have eaten Red's face as a sign of disapproval.

Cyan had seen you sleeping that night, they saw you having night terrors. You went from peacefully sleeping to having nightmares in only a couple of minutes, so no wonder why you didn't sleep well.

Ugh. They were probably overreacting. They shouldn't care that about the half-assed courting they just witnessed, they shouldn't even care that you had night terrors! They should only care about their next meal, yet-

Yet, they don't know why, but-

Seeing Red be so desperate for your attention is messing with their heads. If Cyan was in your place, they would have rejected his request and tried to wait for someone a lot more competent to show up.

"- So. How it's your tasks going?" Red asked you. It's been three hours after the incident, and you were now finishing your tasks when Red suddenly decided to join in.

"- I'm doing okay, how about you? Did you finish yours?" You asked, still paying attention to your own work.

"- Yeah, I did… Look, I want to say sorry for earlier. I guess I overreacted, heh." He apologized, clearly embarrassed by the fact he acted so jealous in front of you.

Red had started to get easily fascinated by your person. You're incredible in his eyes, and even if you didn't reciprocate your feelings towards him, he at least hopes you don't end up with someone like Cyan.

Someone that is a coward and a player, someone who is very aware of how you feel towards them yet keeps you in the dark just because they're "afraid" of turning into something official with you. If he knew that the whole crew would be in this terrible situation that you're in right now, Red would have made a move earlier.

He thought that Cyan had stopped trying to be with you, yet apparently not.

"- That's okay, I guess we're all losing our minds slowly." You told Red even though you were mentioning that more to yourself. You feel like you also need to calm yourself down, since the gravity of your situation was starting to settle in a lot stronger than anticipated.

"- Yeah, I agree." He was losing his cool, he had to admit that. He remembers listening to you and Cyan yesterday, he couldn't understand everything going on after he had joked about you and Cyan making out in the halls, but he remembers hearing something that sounded like Cyan scolding you for… Worrying? Really? Honestly, what monster would ever consider scolding someone like you for being worried about their safe being?!

A lunatic, clearly. Someone who doesn't deserve your worries, yet you keep going towards them! You keep being kind to someone who is a lunatic if not an absolute moron.

Oh, here we go again. He is being negative again, he needs to keep calm if he wants to keep the bad thoughts away from his mind, but it's already too late.

Every time Cyan is unfair to you, he has these bad, intrusive thoughts. How annoying.

"- I'll go see how Cyan is doing, see you later [Y/N]." He said. His entire mood has been pretty down the whole day, you noticed how his normally uplifting voice has been pretty serious the entire time.

You say goodbye as you still have many tasks to do. You wonder if you should consult White about this, everyone seems to be on edge lately and it's starting to affect your environment-

"- Oh, [Y/N]! Do you need any help?" You turned your head around at the sound of a sweet voice calling you.

"- Hey Yellow. I do need some help, but are you sure? I don't want to be a burden." You said noticing the shy girl coming forward.

" Not at all! I-I want to help! I just finished my own tasks so I thought it would be nice to be useful." She was probably feeling anxious since the last meeting, trying to search for someone to help and talk with.

You decided to let her join you, Yellow has her quirks yet- You really like her, she can be pretty comforting to be around.

While you and the crew were doing tasks, Cyan was trying to find a good opportunity for their next victim. Their hunger had started to become stronger, and because they refused to eat human food (they're very picky), they haven't been able to gain enough energy to go through the day.

They need some flesh, and it needs to be as soon as possible-

"- Hey!" Oh look, that sounds like free food.

"- Hello, Red." They said, their rough voice was raspy due to the fact that they haven't eaten in a while. Their tone didn't hide the annoyance at seeing such a low human in their presence.

"- I wanted to tell you something. Can we talk?" He said. Cyan wasn't too interested in what he had to say, yet they were intrigued to know why he couldn't just say what he wanted in the first place.

Cyan noticed that they couldn't simply get rid of him just yet. There were at least three people here. The rude Blue one, the little Lime thingy talking with the Purple guy.

"- Privately, that is." Red had looked around, giving a glare towards Blue's direction, which caused them to flinch when noticing the odd way the male was acting out of nowhere.

"- Of course." He was making their job a lot easier. He took them to an empty room, O2.

"- So, what do you want- Argh!" Red took the opportunity to pin Cyan to the wall. The sudden reaction took the much stronger creature by surprise, and although they could simply split him in half, Cyan decided to see where this was going.

"- What it's your problem?" Cyan choked, since Red was forcing his arm in their throat. Then again, they could easily get out of his grip.

"- You. You're acting weird since yesterday and-" He paused, was he really about to say it? Would he really let his jealousy get in the middle of his friendship?

"- And you have been acting weird especially with [Y/N], I heard you two yesterday." Red confessed.

"- Oh, fascinating, is that why you've been giving me bad looks every now and then?" But Cyan did not seem to care for what Red was telling them. I mean, they only been here for like- 24 hours, and even so they could see Red's feelings towards you from a mile away.

"- Are you jealous?" Cyan provoked the unstable man. Clearly the time spent inside this spaceship has been messing with his mind.

"- No! I'm- I'm being serious here, [Y/N] was concerned about your well-being yet you got mad at them!" Red's grip from Cyan's neck was slowly fading as he was starting to get more agitated.

"- And what does any of that has to do with you?" Cyan asked, pushing Red's arms away from them, which caused him to notice how irrational he was being.

"- Just- Just stay away from them, okay? I thought you didn't even-" He interrupted himself, he was sounding so… Different, from his normal self. He was sounding like an possessive freak, even he could tell.

"- … I didn't what, Red?" Cyan was starting to get bored by the human's whining. In less than 48 hours, humans have proven to be simply too emotional, letting their distrust eat them away. Even for a creature as anxious as Cyan, they can at least think twice before doing something stupid.

Something stupid like provoking a creature that could easily kill him.

"- Stay away from them." Red warned them, while deciding that the best course of action would be to leave them alone.

He wasn't acting like usual self, yet, it doesn't seem like he cares at this point. He was stuck in this hell, no one can judge him for losing his mind a little. Wouldn't you lose it as well if you were stuck in space?

Cyan however wasn't really impressed by the male's threat. They didn't even do anything for him to be so feisty, they haven't even tried anything with you for stars sake.

Maybe he was truly starting to lose it, or maybe the original Cyan did say something regarding you. Yet, it doesn't matter now.

Red is unstable, acting like a douche towards the crew, even if they didn't have anything to do with this conversation in the first place! It wouldn't take long before he turned into a burden in the eyes of the rest, just like Blue is already considered the most unlikeable asshole in this place.

Although Cyan was already pretty hungry they just lost the opportunity to both satisfy their hunger and the want to choke Red, they thought about something more interesting. There are way too many humans here, and if Red suddenly died, people would be suspicious of Cyan and you, since he is always near you two.

But what if, there was a way to get rid of Red while also satisfying their hunger?

Could they create a scene where Red is the "culprit" of someone else's death?

It doesn't sound so unlikely now that they think about it.
