Hi!!
I know you said there wouldn't be any pregnancy in this story, but for funsies, which of the boys do you think would get baby fever first? My money is on Johnny.
Definitely Johnny.
He just seems like the type that loves kids and he gets baby fever bad whenever he's around them. (Bonus that he enjoys the process of making babies a lot too 😉) Definitely has a breeding kink.
I feel like Gaz would be second. Not really something he thinks about, until he sees you holding a baby. Then all bets are off.
Price and Simon are complicated to answer for. They're definitely the types to dedicate their lives to their careers. Marriage, family, whatever they probably don't really think about it much. It would take the right kind of person in the right situation, and even then. They both have just kind of accepted they're gonna die in the field one day and it would be selfish to put a kid through that. (Not to mention all of Simon's issues.)

Lois annoyed me in the new MAWS episode. Which isn't new, but this I feel like is more serious. Look, I don't like this version of Lois, a lot of the time I actively dislike her. Which means I tend to see things she does in a negative light. But even when I push my bias away, I still think it's messed up.
Lois actually started this episode pretty well. She warned Clark not to be too affectionate with her because Cat figured out that Superman's seeing someone. This is progress for Lois, she's actually respecting Clark's secret identity for once. (And I do mean for once: feeling entitled to his secret identity in season 1, jumping off a building so he would be forced to out himself, having her dad stay at Clark's apartment when her dad is supposed to have great observation skills and previously freaking kidnapped Clark.)
Anyway, I was surprised, but happy that Lois seemed to be improving. And of course Clark took her advice because his secret identity is important to him. Just for Lois to later put his secret identity on the line by saying to Cat Grant that what if Superman was dating her. Cat Grant is one of the worst people to tell: she knows Lois and Clark are dating, and she's a gossip columnist, maybe she's more nuanced and wouldn't spill Clark's secret, but Lois doesn't know her well enough to know that. And why does Lois nearly let Clark's secret identity spill... because she's insecure??
I hate when insecurity is used as an excuse for terrible actions. (Even when it first came out I knew Sierra Burgess is a terrible movie.) I could tell Lois didn't mean for it to slip out, but then she kept pushing it?? There are ways she could've covered it up: saying she means ordinary people like herself, saying she has a bit of a celebrity crush, explaining she has other things going on in her life and that's why she's acting out, etc.
I want to like Lois, but she's making it very, very hard.

I think it's interesting that some people think of Brad and Abed as being indistinguishable because after finally watching Mythic Quest I am really impressed by how /different/ Danny is in MQ compared to Community. The characters definitely share some similar personality traits and occasionally flat affect but I think that makes it all the more impressive how different they are.

Look I dunno how to say it gently so I'm gonna come out and say it: ATSV!Hobie Brown DEFINITLEY ain't gonna date a white woman.
"Oh, but Miles was jealous--oh the love triangle rumor--"
Hobie sees Gwen as a friend at best, and the Gwen Stacy of his dimension was an inspiration/music legend so he was always gonna be down with any Gwen Stacy. It's like if a celebrity died and came back in the form of some goofy kid and you felt compelled to take care of em.

I think Erik and Olivia will have feelings for each other but obvisouly Felix will ruin it by exposing the bet. I actually don’t hate them together (unpopular opinion). Oops 🫣

Ideal Jason/Rose dynamic. They are not a couple. They are however deliberately making you second guess that assumption because they think it's funny to mess with you.

you don't think Leon would have slept with Ashley? og or remake either way?
love your metas btw, hope to see more!
I do not, because I've never seen Leon as being romantically interested in her in the OG or RE4R. In both games, their relationship appears pretty cut and dry to me, where Leon feels a strong need to protect her but not much beyond that. He's protective because she's an innocent in danger, he's playful at times because he's trying to calm her nerves/lighten the mood, and he encourages her because he knows that she's scared and feels extremely helpless.
I think Leon's behavior towards her is that of someone who's just very in-tune with others. He knows that she feels vulnerable, and that in addition to feeling helpless, she is in the sense that she's not trained/equipped to deal with the situation she's found herself in against her will, so he's constantly trying to ease tension and provide support to her. His mission might just be to rescue her, but Leon's love of people is what drives how he acts with Ashley.
I think it's more obvious in the OG than the remake that Leon's not interested in Ashley. He doesn't do anything to indicate that he is and quickly rejects her at the end of the game. Whereas with the remake, you could say that it's a little more open to interpretation.
It seemed to me that in the remake, Capcom leaned into Ashley's feelings for Leon and did nothing to indicate that they were mutual. There's a certain degree of distance that Leon seems to place between himself and Ashley (emotionally, not physically) where he's kind and caring towards her, but there's a very clear line that's drawn. It's clear that he picks up on the feelings she has for him, but he just politely humors her the entire game.
One could argue that Leon is interested in Ashley and is just keeping it to himself for the sake of professionalism, but I personally don't see it that way.

There are people saying the tribulation starts Monday during the eclipse!
People say lots of things but the Scripture is sufficient. If you want to know anything with certainty about how the world will end, you need to start there. When you do, you will find that God's message to His people is not to get caught up trying to figure out the dates and times He chose for His own purposes (Acts 1:7).
When we get swept up in speculation and hype, we start setting our hopes on a date or some fallible wisdom from man instead of fixing our eyes on Christ. We are to always be ready for Christ to return at any time. The world is ripe for judgment and I am confident that God will do it, not because a youtuber said it's happening Monday, but because thus saith the Lord.
I believe you can come to a conclusion about the general sequence of events of the end times from what God has revealed in His Word, but He has very specifically said we will not know what those times are until they are actively happening. It's going to be unexpected like a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:2). Even if by some miracle of providence someone gets a date right, they can't say they knew it because God has not revealed it.
What we can know, at least based on what I have studied, is that the Tribulation cannot happen until 1) The restrainer of the Holy Spirit in the church is taken away (2 Thess 2:7), and 2) the man of lawlessness enters his 7 year covenant with Israel (Dan 9:27).
The organization of end times events is challenging to figure out. It's the study of last things, and like calculus, you have to have everything in the right order to come to the correct conclusion. I don't have it all figured out, but here are the promises of God I can trust and will proclaim from the roof tops until Jesus appears.
God will protect the Church from His wrath (1 Thess 5:9). We will not endure any of His judgment on the earth for their sin because our sin was paid for by Christ. Jesus will call for us, resurrect us, and meet us in the air (1 Thess 4:16-17).
All the evil we see in the world right now will be judged by God for eternity. Jesus will physically come as a conquering king to put an end to man's rebellion and wickedness and willing enslavement to Satan and his lies (Rev 19:11-16).
Jesus could come at any time, without delay. The only thing stopping Him from judging the world right now in fire is His own mercy and grace (2 Pet 3:9). This should inspire us not to twiddle our thumbs staring into the clouds waiting for Jesus to return, but to be about the task He assigned us, making disciples of all nations, inviting them to join His kingdom while He is still offering grace and their hearts are not hardened (Acts 1:11; Heb 3:13).

I really like the thoughts on Alice having brought Sam into this despite having some idea of the danger, but I very much don't think it she's being intentionally nefarious. She says herself that some people have gone weird, but I think she chalks it up to general mental unwellness caused by the cases they have to read, hundreds every day, rather than anything that's more aggressively dangerous. I think she has thoroughly convinced herself it's not dangerous because she has to. And I think Sam needed something fast and she thought he could be the same as her. Get through the day without looking too hard at the work, take the money and run.
Will she regret getting him into this when his life is more in danger? I think so. But she's a working class trans woman who is quite clearly trying to support her little brother's music career financially. She can't just quit and find another job as easy as that, and I think she's grown to perceive this position as an effective means to an end and nothing more. She thought it could be the same thing for Sam, but he's not like her.
