A little Fnaf Movie rant (don't kill me, I also want this movie to be good)
(this post is pretty big, i understand if you don't have the patience for it)
(if you see any typos: no, you did not.)
Am I the only one who thinks that the fnaf movie isn't gonna live up to the hype...? Like I don't think it's gonna be bad, but I doubt it's gonna be as spectacular as we hope it will be.
One of the reasons that I'm a bit worried is the little girl. Michael's sister. Like in the trailer she's shown wondering around the pizzaria, and than in a TAXI with GOLDEN FREDDY, like????? HUH???? I have a feeling that the movie is gonna make her befriend the animatronics and like prove to Mike and Vanessa that "they just misunderstood🥺" Which like... THEY ARE, but that would be a horrible way to go about that plot line. And I kinda feel like they shouldn't be intelligent enough, or self aware enough to make friends y'know?
Also Vanessa. This one's gonna be shorter. I hope to god they're not gonna have a romantic plot line between her and Michael. One thing I really like about the fnaf games (haven't read the books yet, sorry) that there's absolutely no romance. And I feel like it should stay that way.
Now the "horror". I KNOW that the original games didn't have any gore. And I'm not saying the movie has to have it. I just want it to be SCARY. Or creepy at the very least. The games didn't have gore, but they were still HORROR GAMES, y'know. They're 16+. I remember that the movie makers tweeted something like "we're not gonna hold back on the gore" or "I'm not sure if we can even show this". But... The movie is going to be 13+... So that was a fuckin lie. Because what the hell is a pg13 HORROR movie supposed to be??? Like IT 2017 is rated R, but theres a surprisingly little amount of actual gore. And despite the R rating, sooo many teens and preteens love the move. So who is the Fnaf movie's target audience with it's pg13 rating. The same kids who ONLY played/watched Security Breach? Be so FR.
I feel like (based on the trailers) that the movie is going to take a more comedic approach, wich wouldn't be a problem, but it seems that it's going to be more significant then the horror aspect.
You know how Stranger Things stared out in s1 as a mystery/horror, and by s4 it got derailed into... that. I'm just worried that the same will happen to fnaf... Like it ALMOST happened with SB, but that's a game. It's a lot harder to access, so it still mostly stayed within the fnaf community. Like, 'normal' allistic Jessica (this isn't an actual person, just an example) is a lot less likely to watch a SB gameplay, or more so, play the game. But she might watch the movie because it's popular. And I REALLY don't want Michael to get "Eddie Munson-ified", okay??? I don't want the thing that shaped my entire childhood to get the TikTok treatment.
Sorry this post got really out of hand by the end. I just had to get this out of myself, otherwise I just might explode.
If the movie turns out to be a Masterpiece of fiction, that makes all original fnaf fans weep at how absolutely perfect it is, than y'all can come back here and laugh at me in the comments all you want. I will admit that I was wrong, and I'll do so with pure happiness, for having my expectations subverted in a positive way
And if I'm right.... well.... I will not be happy about it, or proud. I will not say "I told you so". I will keep my mouth shut, and I'll wallow in my misery in silence. Mourning what it could've been.
(theres so much more that i could say about this movie that hasn't even come out yet, but i think this is more than enough)

Fnaf Movie thoughts!
I wanted to ramble some of thoughts and theories I had about the Fnaf Movie.
Cause the brainrot is real and won't leave my brain.
(wow just read back that sentence. Excuse any grammar errors or dumb shit, I'm still very sick)
Below the cut will feature heavy spoilers, so unless you want to be spoiled of the major twists this movie has, I would recommend wait to read this.
I unfortunately couldn't see the movie in my theatres, cause I got horribly sick and wasn't able to get the full theatre experience.
I was able to watch on Peacock, with all my fnaf plushies with a super sinus clogged headache, so that's the mindset I had. lol
Anyway.. Movie time
I absolutely LOVED Mike and Abby. First off.
I didn't even mind a lot of time of the movie was spent AWAY from Freddy's. Because so much is just about learning about Mike and his family and connection to Abby.
Sure, we could have spent the WHOLE movie at Freddy's. But that is not what this movie is about. And it's clearly trying to tell a bigger mystery and this felt a very introduction friendly entry point to anyone confused about the fnaf lore.
I love how completely obsessed Mike is with Dream theory. To the point he's taking heavy duty sleeping pills on his job that he clearly doesn't need and just is doing it so he can relive his dreams/fabricated memories.
The intro credits with the 8-bit style graphics of the minigames in fnaf2-4??? Like bro? I cried. That was so iconic and they fill in the backstory for the purple guy, who actually appears as his sprite??? Like... Man iconic.
Also... Dude... Mike Schmitt in the movie is like... what the Fans wanted Mike in the games to be for YEARS. Like... Mike in the games is nothing. He's a silent face. We know so little about him, and everything else is purely speculative. Even the whole "he was foxy bro and has regret over his brother" ...That's all theory and not confirmed. As far as we know, Crying child and his brother might not even be Afton kids.
But this Mike is EXACTLY the motivations we wanted Mike to have? If that makes sense? He laments his brother was taken at a young age and expresses regret and motivation to want to get him back. he has the motivations that the fandom built for him for years and ran with it, and I LOVE THAT.
FNAF Movie actually gives good reasons why Mike comes back every night, as said in Living Tombstone's iconic song "why do you want to stay?" Cause of his regrets with his brother and his obsession with dream theory and doesn't realize the animatronics are a threat until like... night four.
THE ANIMATRONICS?? THE PUPPETS??? THEY LOOK SO GOOD??? HECK YEAH!!!!
I SCREAMED when I recognized Matpat's voice, and then I saw his face. Reconized him for his voice WAY before I saw his face. I didn't think he'd have a speaking or face cameo and get to say his iconic "it's just a theory" line and about food too??? King shit.
Letting the animatronics have moments where they can just be cute and friendly as well as creepy and bloodthirsty is so great! I want to give them all pets.
THE CHILD ACTORS ARE ALL SO GOOD! To the point you don't even notice! It's often hard to get children to play a convincing performance, but these children acted really well! They must have a real talented director who knew how to get the best of their child actors. You don't even realize that the child actors are great, cause they're so good it's unnoticeable. AMAZING
VANESSA BEING WILLIAM AFTON'S DAUGHTER IS NOTHING SHORT OF BRILLIANT!!!!
I MEAN, I SCREAMED WHEN SHE SAID "William Afton My father"
I was screaming about this in my group chat.
I was screaming for a thousand years.
AND IT makes sense why the cops never found the bodies. Vanessa is a cop! She's covering for her father!
I absolutely LOVE what a girl failure Vanessa is too!
Like she shows up, HEAVILY flirts with Mike (like she was laying it on so thick my demisexual ass was picking up on her vibe) and just shows up to give him exposition on the FNAF lore. fheogheahf. Like. It's great.
(no doubt she was flirting heavily with Mike at the start due to manipulation from her father, I do believe it grows to genuine fondness later)
I've heard people complain about her flipflop nature... BUT THAT's the POINT!
Tumblr media
(a literal arcade game in security breach.)
She let Abby play with the animatronics, knowing it was dangerous. Her original plan was to kill Mike, but she changes her plans when she sees he has a kid. (who she thought was his daughter at first) It was only after Abby got injured by Accident, she realized that what a danger she posed by brining them here at all. She only threatened to shoot Mike because she hoped that such an extreme threat would get him to quit. She even tells him about how many security guards quit. But it doesn't.
She even said she tried to warn in her own way. She's terrified of her father. And we get deep foreshadowing about that throughout the movie.
I really hope that in some sequels we will get to see Vanny at some point. Maybe even Springtrap and Vanny working together in the same movie??? CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS?!?!? I WOULD GO FERAL
Anyway, Vanessa is such a girl failure and my girl blorbo. I support her and her woman's wrongs
The minor look of regret after Will stabs his daughter... peak cinema.
The springlock scene... The quiet of the stabs, giving such a realistic collapse... the "I always come back" ...Embracing the monster he knows he is. He is the mask. He isn't hiding behind the mask, like he is being Steve. he is the mask now. Just... Chefs kiss.
The animatronics dragging springtrap away mirrors the ending of Silver Eyes so well, and I'm glad, because that was the best part of the Silver eyes. <3
THE LIVING TOMBSTONE GOT TOP BILLING FOR THE FIRST CREDITS SONG! PERFECT
Garret is 100% going to be the Puppet in the Movie Series. He was the one taken in the car, the spelling out in the minigame sounds at the very end says: "COME FIND HIM" And after Living Tombstone ends, the credits music fades into Grandfather's clock music box... Puppet's song..... Garret will be the Puppet in this universe and I so look forward to that.
I enjoyed the movie. I'm glad that they left the overarching mystery of Garret open to be explored in the sequel.

FNAFMovie!Incorrect Quotes: Part Four
Tumblr media
WILLIAM, as Steve Raglan: You're clearly not listening. I can say whatever I want, can't I?
MIKE, half asleep: Tell me about it.
WILLIAM: I murdered another kid last night.
MIKE: I feel you.
WILLIAM: Now I have the taste of blood, I can't stop killing.
MIKE, yawning: Been there
***
MIKE: If I seem intense, that's for one reason and one reason only, okay? I don't wanna be here and I'm really sad.
***
VANESSA: Why is Barbie's the Nutcracker the only good film adaptation of the ballet that has ever been made?
MIKE, who’s been around Abby too long: Because Barbie movies slap, next question.
***
WILLIAM: it's time for you to die.
ABBY: One sec, let me ask my brother
WILLIAM: It's not a choi--
ABBY: Mike said no.
***
MIKE: I did what I could, you know, while I was also trying not to bleed to death.
***
WILLIAM: I will ruin your happiness, no matter the cost!
MIKE: My happiness?
MIKE, turning to Vanessa: I'm happy?
***
ABBY: You wanna see how hardcore I am?
ABBY: *punches wall*
ABBY:
ABBY: Take me to the hospital.
***
MIKE: Well, well, well. If it isn’t my old friend...the dawning realization that I messed up bad.
***
MRS. AFTON: Hey, it's your turn to wash dishes.
WILLIAM: I'LL WASH THE WALLS RED WITH YOUR BLOOD
MRS. AFTON: 'Kay, but before that, wash the dishes. Also, use soap this time?
***
WILLIAM, a career counselor: Look, I would like to give you moral advice, but I have very questionable morals.
***
MIKE: You're my little sister and the most important thing in the world to me. I would do anything for you.
ABBY: I want you to eat three meals a day and have a decent sleep schedule.
MIKE: Absolutely not.
***
MIKE: What doesn't kill me should run, because now I'm ticked off
***
MIKE: You saved me. I owe you my life.
VANESSA: No, thanks. I’ve seen it and I’m not very impressed.
***
WILLIAM, first interviewing Mike: You look familiar. Have I killed one of your loved ones before?
***
MIKE: Fool me once, I’m gonna kill you
***
MIKE: Do you have any skeletons in your closet?
WILLIAM: You mean literally or figuratively?
MIKE: Honestly, the fact that I have to specify...
***
WILLIAM: 'Person of interest' is almost too flattering.
WILLIAM: Like, if the police were to pound on my door and go, 'Someone has been murdered in your building and you are a person of interest,' I'd be like, 'Moi? Oh, do go on.'
***
VANESSA: I've already sent good vibes your way… they’re coming. There’s nothing you can do to stop them.
MIKE: This is the most threatening way I’ve ever been cheered up.
***
MIKE: People are always asking me if I'm a morning person or a night person. And I'm just like, 'Buddy! I'm barely even a PERSON!'
***
ABBY: Oh just so you know, it's very muggy outside
MIKE:
MIKE: Abby, I swear, if I step outside and all of our mugs are on the front lawn...
ABBY: *Sips chocolate milk from bowl*
***
MIKE: Schrödinger’s cat is overrated. If you wanna see something that’s both dead and alive you can talk to me any time of the day.
(This can apply to both the movie and the game)
***
VANESSA: You know, I'm starting to regret showing you how that blender works.
MIKE, drinking toast: Why do you say that?
***
MIKE: Okay, maybe playing, "Whose family is more dysfunctional" was a bad idea. Vanessa's sobbing in the bathroom now. We can't get her out.
***
MIKE: I slept for almost 12 hours but I might still be tired so let's go for 12 more just incase.
VANESSA: Mike, that's a coma.
MIKE: Sounds festive.
***
VANESSA: Don’t worry, I know exactly what I’m doing. Everything is going to be fine!
MIKE: How can you still say that?
VANESSA: Because sometimes, when things get tough, denial is all we have.
***
WILLIAM: Okay. I get it. You've had a really hard time lately, you're stressed out, seven people died-
VANESSA: Twelve, actually.
WILLIAM: Not the point. Look, they're dead now and really, whose fault is that?
VANESSA: Yours!
WILLIAM: That's right: no one's.
***
[Mike is the only one raising Abby after his dad’s depressed and his mom lost it]
MIKE: I think I'm having a mid-life crisis.
Mike’s Dad: You're, like, 15 years old
MIKE: I MIGHT DIE AT 30!
***
WILLIAM, sitting with his back turned: I’ve been expecting you, Michael
MIKE: How did you do that without turning around?
WILLIAM: ...To be perfectly honest, the first couple of people I did that to were not you.
***
[The career counselor scene]
MIKE, explaining why he's gone through so many jobs: Bad things keep happening to me, like I have bad luck or something.
WILLIAM: Mike, you don't have bad luck. The reason bad things happen to you is because you're stupid
***
MIKE, banging on the door: Vanessa! Open up!
VANESSA: Well, it all started when I was a kid...
MIKE: No, I meant--
ABBY: Let her finish.

Stu or William Afton trying to be normal for Christmas, but they just can't help gloating about their wealth
Tumblr media
Warnings: none really. A little suggestive at the end
An: I’m accepting Christmas Drabble requests for the next 4 hours
“Here you are beautiful.” Stu jumped over the couch, landing next to you with a small gift bag in his hands. You had snuck away from your family for a bit to spend time with Stu on Christmas Eve. You hated that he was alone, but your boyfriend had refused to come over to yours for Christmas. Stu claimed to enjoy the time alone and that Billy tended to show up at some point anyways.
“And for you.” You handed over the wrapped box you had for him while taking the bag. “In three?”
“One,” Stu started.
“Two,” you added.
“Three!” You both said at the same time before opening the gifts.
You pulled the paper out of the bag along with a thin box. You let out a small gasp as you opened the box, finding a necklace. It was an 8 pointed star that looked to be silver with a shining black diamond in the middle. You should be grateful for something like this, any girl would be ecstatic to receive something so nice, but your heart sank when you saw it.
You glanced up at Stu, seeing him staring at you. “What do you think?” He sounded excited, but you couldn’t match his energy.
“I… I thought we were sticking with $20.” Stu just waved that off.
“I knew you’d like it, I didn’t even look at the price.”
His words caused the pit in your stomach to feel heavier. And a glance to the side made a lump in your throat grow. You had bought Stu a Michael Myers art print, it wasn’t super expensive, but you had thought it was pretty and that Stu would like it. Instead, it was thrown to the side, half the wrapping paper still on it.
“Baby, are you okay?” Stu’s words made you realize how close you were to tears, and suddenly you couldn’t hold it in, letting out a small sob. “Hey….don't cry, baby,” Stu scooped you into his arms.
“You hate it!” You sobbed into his chest, fisting his shirt slightly.
“What are you talking about? I hate what, baby?”
“The- the gift I got you.” You sniffled as you started to calm down, not that the sadness was going away at all.
“I don’t hate it, what makes you think that?”
“You didn’t even open it all the way…” you whispered. Stu leaned forward slightly to grab the gift off of the coffee table.
“Baby, I love it. I just wanted to see you open your gift.” Stu tried to explain but you shook your head.
“It’s nothing compared to what you got me.”
“Baby, I don’t need some expensive gift. This shows that you know me, it’s something you knew I’d like.”
“But you always buy my expensive gifts for everything, and I… you deserve to get nice stuff too. I feel bad because I can’t afford anything like what you buy me.”
Stu listened to you talk, rubbing your back comfortingly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I never think about the price tag, you know? I’m really just spending my parents money.”
You looked down at your hands slightly. You knew Stu was telling you the truth, you’d never seen him even check a price tag. When you went out he paid for everything, he’d buy lunch for your friend group, bought random shit he didn’t need, Stu never even thought about the price. But you didn’t have that luxury. Sure, you weren’t necessarily broke, but you had a budget. You had to work a part time job and your parents didn’t just buy you whatever.
Stu reached around you for the print, holding it for you to see. “I love it, and it’s going to go up in my room as soon as we’re done. I was more worried about you liking your necklace, which…” Stu set the picture down and reached for the necklace, taking it out of the box and clipping it around your neck. “Looks amazing on you.”
You blushed at his words, looking down at the necklace resting on your neck. “It is beautiful.”
“See! I knew you’d like it. I’ve always spoiled you, and I always will.”
“Maybe just…scale it down slightly every once in a while? I want to feel like I spoil you as much as you spoil me.” You explained, watching as Stu’s smile grew.
“You spoil me in the best ways.” Stu smirked suggestively, making you slap his shoulder.
“I’m trying to be serious!”
“Oh, I’m being very serious.” Stu promised as he leaned in to kiss your neck. “Now, why don’t I give you your second gift before you go home?”
“And what could that be?” You hummed as Stu’s hands moved up under your shirt.
“I think you know exactly what it is.”

Five Nights At Freddy’s, Authorial Intent, The Box, and why CC doesn’t really matter.
Authorial intent is the act of, rather than looking at the story itself, you focus on the author. Why did they write this, why did they act this way. That’s what I want to focus on, Scott Cawthon after the release of FNAF 4, and what that means for the story. Scott was, for lack of a better word, frustrated after FNAF 4. Think about the box, how he never gave us a concrete answer to what it was because no one got the complete story of the game. He gave MatPat the hint “why is little toy Chica missing her beak?” Well, I have an answer to both of those, CC doesn’t matter! He’s not Golden Freddy, Cassidy is! And he’s definitely not the Puppet, that title is Charlie’s. So in the grant scheme of things, who is he? Well, he’s the brother that Michael accidentally murdered. That’s why Scott was so frustrated. He didn’t mean to tell us about CC, but rather about Michael. It was Michael’s backstory. This was Scott trying to tell us “this is the boy you play as in the rest of the series, and this is why he spends over five nights at Freddy’s”. But, due to the lack of information at the time, no one understood. So he introduced William Afton as the Purple Guy in the books, then again in the games, and made his daughter the antag, as well as making another antag a representation of his wife. This game was supposed to make you connect the Afton’s to the protag of the series, make you realize that the protag is an Afton. But no one got it. So Scott threw his hands up and said “fine! I’ll just tell you!” And gave us the cutscenes after the SL custom nights, which gave us more information about Michael than anything. Michael turning purple isn’t actually him turning into a rotten corpse (how could he get a job as a corpse? Even if Fazbear Entertainment is garbage, he’s a corpse! That’s wayyyyy past the line) but rather to connect him to William, to the Afton’s. He even shares the same VA as William! Scott basically threw in our faces that Michael was an Afton, and the kids in FNAF 4 were Aftons as well (think about the empty girl’s room, which SL gives us an answer to), therefore Michael = Foxybro = MC. Then he finally closes it off with FNAF 6 (ah satiating FNAF 6 ending, I miss you), giving us Henry’s line about his “brave volunteer” wanting to die in the fire. And I think that’s what finally put the FNAF fandom in agreement about Michael (at least, the FNAF fandom can’t agree on much, so Scott still needed more confirmation in Fazbear’s Frights since MatPat thought Michael was CC as a robot). I mentioned earlier the line “why is little toy Chica missing her beak?” She’s missing her beak because the cutscenes aren’t even from CC’s POV, they’re from Michael’s, how he remembers his little brother, and how he remembers himself. CC is, frankly, a little bit too much of a crybaby to be realistic. And yes, this is a game, so I might be looking to far into it, but CC never stops crying, even when the Fredbear plush tries to comfort him. And about the Fredbear plush, I don’t think it’s William talking to him or a spirit, I think Michael saw CC with the plushie all the time, and interpreted it as an object of comfort for him, that’s why it’s literally everywhere, Michael remembers CC bringing it with him everywhere. And how does Michael look back at himself? With nothing but hatred. He sees himself as the older brother who lives for nothing but torment (we don’t get any scenes of Michael being nice until CC is dying). And he’s afraid of his younger self (think about how many YouTubers jumped at the Foxybro jumpscares). And the gameplay? That’s William punishing Michael, and that’s why we see it in SL. So why is little toy Chica missing her beak? Because Michael Afton has already been Fritz Smith, and the image of Toy Chica without her beak is burned into his mind. I believe almost to complete certainty that the first concept of the box was something connecting FoxyBro to the FNAF protags.
That was very ranty, and there was some other things I wanted to add. But for the sake of all our time, I’ll end it here. Thanks to anyone who read all the way through.

She's a Family Man Now (2)
Tumblr media
-0-0-
(a/n: so a handful of people seemed to be sorta interested in this fic so I decided to bust out a second part. please let me know what you think! reblogs and comments keep me going y'all~💗)
-0-0-
You were back in the forest again.
Things looked clearer this time. Where before the trees were sorta smudged like a melting painting, now they looked more crisp, like a photo. Still not fully.. real? But close enough to pass off if you weren’t paying full attention.
You looked behind you, an empty trail, looking identical to the one in front of you. With nothing else to do you started walking. You perked up when you heard that same voice again, not the female one but the male one. The old man. You followed it, even calling back asking where they were. Finally you saw something up ahead.
It was red…
You slowed down a bit, feeling a pit of unease settle in your stomach as you walked forward at a slower pace. When the trail you’d been following for what felt like hours finally ended you saw it led you to a small clearing. It looked barely big enough to fit three cars parked side to side, but in the middle of this clearing was a.. glowing red pond?
Why does this seem familiar? And why was there red light shining up from the small body of water?.. It lit up the entire clearing, leaving you feeling on edge. The whole place was eerie, and part of you wanted to just turn around and go back to the trail. But something kept you here, a feeling of curiosity. And when you stepped forward you froze in your tracks when you realized.. you weren’t actually alone in the clearing..
There at the far right end of the pond was a… man? You couldn’t see him the best with the only thing lighting up the area being the freaky red water, so you slowly called out a ‘hello?’. You clenched your fists when he looked at you and you finally noticed his head looked… weird. As you stepped closer it hit you where you were.. You’d seen playthroughs of the fnaf games enough to know about this part of the game.
“...Old Man Consequences?” You asked nervously.
He gave a grunt of affirmation and then went back to looking out at the pond, looking focused on if anything was biting. As you stared at him you wondered if his head(?) was actually his head or just a helmet or mask or something. Because while he looked like a totally normal old man from the neck down, with the button down shirt with the two breast pockets and trousers; his head was another story. It looked like an animatronic gator head? Only it had no eyes, only a slack jawed maw showing off sharp triangular teeth. This whole dream, or coma, was so weird.
“You think this is all a dream?” The old man asked, his voice sounding like it was playing from an old cassette player.
“Well… yeah. I got hit by a car, so this has to be shit I’m seeing in a coma.” You replied in a resigned way.
You looked down at him curiously when he let out a tired sigh. He sat his odd fishing pole down next to him on the ground before resting his forearms on his knees, seeming contemplative; then he looked up at you and you were forced to stare into the inky black depths of his gaping maw. You’d expected to see something in there. A human face if it were a mask, robotic parts if he were an actual animatronic, or an inner mouth if it really was his head. But no, there was nothing but darkness past his teeth, like a void.
“I’m sorry to break it to you but.. this ain’t no dream. You’re not in a coma either. You were supposed to pass on, but I called you back to help me..” he said in a remorseful tone.
That pit of unease from earlier returned full force at his admission, and you couldn’t help the way you nervously asked what he was talking about. He sighed again before picking up his fishing rod and resuming his fishing. But he explained that he needed someone to take over William Afton’s body to prevent everything he’d done in the timeline from actually happening. He’d never intended to pull you back specifically, he’d just wanted someone with some integrity to take over so none of the tragedy that passed would happen. He’d been calling out for help for a long time, since before they’d first thrown the demon down into hell. But nobody had ever answered, at least not until you.
“Something happened when you took over Afton’s body. None of us are sure why but things got thrown back, all the way past the start. To a time before things went so wrong.” The old man said wearily.
You furrowed your eyebrows, not sure what he meant and said none of what he was saying was making any sense. But then you froze and remembered.. 1978.. Old Man Consequence turned to you, a huff in his tone as he explained that YOU were now in control of William Afton’s body. And it was up to you to keep things from going to shit up there with the living. But he added on that since you’re technically supposed to be dead then you can count this as a second chance, or a reincarnation.
Hearing this distracted you from the year and caused you to gape at him before trying to articulate how insane all this was, though at first you just babbled incoherently, not really able to get out what you meant because of all the things you wanted to say at once. But finally after a deep breath you said,
“This.. this is BULLSHIT. What if I don’t WANT to be that asshole?! How is this even possible? Fuck.. I’m a-.. I WAS a woman! How am I supposed to just roll with suddenly having a penis?!”
You took in a shuddering breath before nearly collapsing on the bank of the pond, letting your legs hang into the water, not even caring that your pant legs were getting soaked. You could feel your shoulders shaking as everything he said continued to really sink in. Was he right? Were you stuck in some kid killer’s body now?? Potentially forever?!
“I don’t want to go to jail. Especially not for shit Afton did! God, what am I going to do?” You asked, mostly to yourself.
But the sharp toothed old man asked you if you’d been listening at all. He repeated that the timeline had been rewound, like a tape, and it had gone back years before Afton’s youngest died. None of the spirits had known WHY it’d happened, but it had occurred when YOU took over William Afton’s body. Now he was alone here, waiting to see what happened next. He knew it was a lofty request but he hoped you wouldn’t kill yourself to leave. He explained that yes, it wasn’t your responsibility to help these souls, and he’d take your place if he could, but he can’t. He’s tried before and it won’t let him, whatever ‘it’ was, the universe or what have you.
You wanted to argue with him, ask questions, demand answers, all of that; but the water of the pond started to move. Old man consequences clucked his tongue and said that you were waking up, so your time together has been cut short. For now anyways. He swore he’d talk to you again soon if you needed it but said to just try your best. Which left you feeling pretty flabbergasted. Try your best?? At what? Being William ‘Shithead’ Afton?? This was fucking ridiculous, you didn’t want this! Don’t you get any say in this whole thing?!
But you never got to voice your complaints because suddenly the water went from calmly swirling to riptide, yanking you off the bank of the pond where you sat and into the cold water. One second you were fine and the next you were being pulled under, red overtaking your vision before fading to black. It all happened so fast that you didn’t have time to do anything but experience it.
-0-
You woke up in the hospital… Again.
At this point it was just annoying. But this time something was different. You could hear soft humming to your right, and when you managed to turn your head to see what it was you were greeted with the sight of a woman sitting on the same sofa you’d seen the day before, doing some kind of embroidery you think. You could almost say she looked relaxed if it weren’t for the stiff way her shoulders were raised a little and the crease between her eyebrows.
Aside from the subtle stressed out look she was sporting she was an incredibly beautiful woman. You sorta thought all women were pretty but still, she was certainly something. She had messy loose strawberry blonde curls, warm skin, and eye-catching blue eyeshadow. And she had a pastel geometric button up tucked into a pair of gray jeans. A very retro look from your perspective but you figured for her it was a very stylish outfit, at least if Old Man Consequence was truthful and you really WERE stuck in the 80’s or whatever…
You got caught staring at her and flinched when she gasped and shot out of her seat. Flinching caused you to jostle your cast covered arm and leg, eliciting a groan of pain from you. The woman rushed over to your side, her hands hovering above you like she wanted to help you but wasn’t sure how. She settled for resting a hand on the shoulder connected to your cast free arm and saying with worry in her tone,
“Don’t worry, I’ll call the nurse to come check on you.”
Her accented voice sounded familiar to you for some reason, and as she focused on pressing the call button it hit you; her voice is the one you heard in your dream. The one that got kinda weirdly mixed with Old Man Consequences. So whoever she was she apparently knew William, which made you oddly nervous. Would she realize you weren’t him!? You felt yourself panic before calming yourself down. Even if she did there’s no way to PROVE you weren’t William Afton. You were in his body for fucks sake. You had his blood, his DNA, finger prints, all that shit. You were fine. Hell, maybe you could fake having amnesia! Yeah! That would make sense, right? You’d been in a car crash after all. Who’s to say you didn’t bang your head??
When the lady came back with the nurse and doctor in tow you had made up your mind to fake amnesia. Which you sorta thought would be harder than it was. But it turns out not being born in the late 70’s or 80’s made it shockingly easy. But stressful regardless. When the doctor was explaining everything that happened to you in the accident the woman took your non injured hand and held it in hers. You stared down at your connected hands and without thinking you asked her what her name was, unintentionally cutting off the doctor who was still speaking. You froze as soon as you noticed… you spoke in a British accent. What the fuck..
The woman gave you a stunned look while the doctor and nurse shared a concerned glance. But the woman opened her mouth before closing it, like she wasn’t sure what to say, but then she blurted out that she was Claire, your wife! Your eyes widened and your face felt hot. Running on pure surprise and disbelief you couldn’t help the astonished tone to your voice as you almost yelled,
“You’re my wife????... Wow~”
Your awed tone did cause Claire to flush a little bit but the doctor chimed in and asked you if you could answer a couple of his questions. You said okay and blinked when he asked if you knew what year it was. You recalled the news broadcast and hesitantly answered 1978. The doctor seemed relieved and asked you who was the president of the United States. Here is where you started to panic. You could not for the life of you remember who was the president in 1978.. Was it Nixon? Or was it Reagan? You didn’t remember! The last time you thought about any presidents before Clinton was back when you were learning about the American presidents in school!! So it was with much anxiety that you nervously answered, “Uh.. Nixon?”
The blank stare the doctor and nurse gave you let you know that was probably wrong as FUCK! Shit, how wrong though?! You were starting to visibly worry when the doctor asked to speak to Claire out in the hallway. You worried until they came back and the doctor started asking you more questions. Simple things first. Your name, your family’s names, and more. You could ‘remember’ the names of your immediate family but not what they looked like. Then the nurse came back with flash cards and asked you what each picture on them was. House, car, tree, bike, cat, plane, school, bird, campfire. They seemed relieved that you still had your basic understanding intact.
After the evaluation the doctor said it sounded like you were suffering from a form of amnesia. Thankfully not one that would affect your ability to function as an adult, but because of the car accident you seemed to have forgotten some of the key elements of your personal life. Claire looked horrified but the doctor was quick to reassure her that it was likely temporary and your memory would probably return after some time. It would be best for you to get reintroduced to your family in an effort to jog your memory into returning quicker. But for now you’d need to stay in the hospital so they could run a few more tests to ensure it wasn’t anything serious.
-0-
Well the good news is.. it worked. They think you’re suffering from amnesia. Which will make things a hell of a lot easier on you when you inevitably can’t remember something Afton would have known. But the bad news.. Claire seems so sad.. And despite not knowing the woman, it made you sad to see her so despondent. Once the doctor left the nurse made sure you were comfortable, asked if you needed anything then said lunch would be around soon before leaving you and Claire alone. She just stood by the end of your bed, staring off at the wall, not saying anything. You felt awkward and cleared your throat before speaking to her.
“I-.. I’m sorry.”
Hearing a British man’s voice come out when you’re speaking is still wild. You’re not sure how or why you have the accent still but trying to apply logic to this all seems like it would just drive you crazy so you let it go. Instead you focus on Claire as she turns to look at you. While there was still a sadness in her eyes, now it was paired with some puzzlement. She asked what you were sorry for, making you let out a breath, not sure how Afton would react but knowing how you would so you went with that.
“For upsetting you. I know I’m supposed to know you, but I can’t seem to. Which I find strange. I can’t imagine forgetting someone as lovely as you..” You finished with a hum, not trying to be smooth, just being honest.
Claire blinked, cheeks getting warmer before a small smile broke out across her face. She let out a short chuckle, replying that despite everything you were still a charmer. But then she let out a tired sounding breath and came over to sit in the chair next to your hospital bed, reaching out to grab your hand before stopping herself. You noticed and turned your hand over, palm up and reached out as far as you could in your state for her hand. She gave you a shy, grateful smile before taking your hand. After that it was silent, just the sound of the EKG machine and the low volume of the tv resonating in the room. It felt a bit awkward so to get rid of it you tried talking again,
“So… you’re really my wife?”
She smiled again, a hint of sadness to it, before saying yes, you’d been married for a number of years. You sorta felt jealous of Afton in that moment, how’d a weirdo like him get such a pretty wife? It almost didn’t seem fair, in that same cosmic injustice sorta way that caused the good to die young. And without thinking you said with a grin that you must be a very lucky man then. This got a shocked laugh out of the strawberry blonde and she replied almost incredulously that you were literally in the hospital with multiple broken bones and a head injury!
You just smirked cheekily and retorted that that may be true but you also had a beautiful wife that was sitting next to you so that trumps some silly broken bones any day of the week.
Hearing Claire laugh was infinitely nicer than seeing her sad you decided~

New(ish) FNAF Au
Do you ever come up with a new AU and go "This is awesome! I can't believe I'm the first to think this up!" and then you do research and you aren't the first, or anywhere near the first to think it? Yeah, that happened to me.
So... yeah. This is a 'William was never the killer' AU. In fact, the actual murderer was Henry Emily. Well, I mean... sort of. He didn't kill Charlie, of course. Let's get into this.
Charlotte Emily was murdered by some random drunk from out of town. The man's wife had cheated on him and he got blackout drunk. After the initial murder, this man is no longer important and can be ignored. All you really need to know is he never confessed to what he did, so the mystery of Charlie's death became a cold case.
Henry Emily is pissed off that his daughter, his only family, is now dead. You see, Henry's wife left him after Sammy died in a car accident. The people driving the two cars were Mrs. Emily and someone who also died in the crash. Mrs. Emily divorced her husband and later confided in friends that she thought he was going to kill her. She also reveals that Henry is very mentally unstable.
Moving on, Henry decides to get revenge on the people who put his daughter outside. As it turns out, three boys locked Charlotte outside while two girls distracted people from what was happening. (La Missing Children) Henry is fucking pissed and is ready to pick off these kids one by one, but he pauses for a moment and thinks.
Henry isn't just gonna put on the Fredbear suit and murder kids, it would be obvious that it was him wearing the suit. (Also, the spring locks are unstable in Fredbear because Henry isn't as stuck up about maintenance as William is about SpringBonnie. This is the reason that Evan's tears triggered the jaws to clamp down a few months prior.)
Henry decides to wear William's spring lock suit. And so, the yellow rabbit lures five children to their deaths. These kids never realize that it was Henry instead of William. Therefore, the kids go all vengeful spirit on Afton.
Now, you may be wondering, "Why would Charlie help the missing kids possess robots and murder her dad?" Well, she also doesn't realize that William didn't kill her or the others. It was a dark, foggy, and rainy night. Charlie could only make out the man's heavy breathing, dark shirt, pale skin, and slurred cursing.
In fact! Charlie only started suspecting her murderer to be William after the Missing Children Incident. All the cops were saying William must have done it (despite lack of evidence) and her dad was saying he suspected William also killed her (despite the fact he was inside doing maintenance in the back, and the fact Henry had said nothing on that matter when initially asked by the cops the night his daughter died). So... yeah. Charlie is confused and upset.
Anyways, in this AU, the Funtimes were never meant to kill. What happened to Elizabeth was an accident and an actual malfunction. The compartment within the Funtimes was made as an earlier version of Glamrock Freddy's stomach storage. The claw was made so Baby could reach things a little farther away and pull them into her compartment. Baby counting the children was a safety feature to make sure no children went missing ever again.
William was distraught and broken when his daughter died. He felt like he was betrayed by practically everyone in his life. Henry called him a murderer, his wife left him (suicide), Michael accidentally ended Evan's life, and now his own creation had killed his daughter. Really, all he had left was Michael, and his relationship with his son had been strained since allegations of William being a murderer first started being tossed around.
Later on, after he realizes the animatronics are haunted, William tries to free the missing children from their metal prisons. Their angry spirits chase him into the back room, where he puts on the SpringBonnie outfit in an attempt to feel any comfort in that morbid moment. And then the final betrayal of William's life happens. The spring locks fail and William's creation kills him.
Michael goes along his journey through the games as normal, except in this world he is a pawn in Henry's sick game. After Michael is scooped and Ennard leaves, I personally like to think that the remnant begins to heal him. So, when we finally get to the fire and he is wearing a mask, it is so that none of the animatronics recognize him and get suspicious. It is not because he is a zombie boy.
Henry's speech is mostly BS because he is a psychopath. The part for Charlie is the only part that really holds any truth on how he feels. But yeah, Cassidy drags William into a personal hell because she is clueless and William is this AU's biggest scapegoat. We are going to completely ignore the canon of Help Wanted, Security Breach, and Ruin. None of that happened in this AU, except for the fact that some psycho dressed up in her fursona and started murdering kids at her job.
But yeah, that's my new goofy little AU. Except, a ton of other people thought of it first, just slightly different.

I WATCHED THE FNAF MOVIE!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
.

.
.
Alright time for my honest thoughts on the fnaf movie? Honestly..? I enjoyed it, I think some of the problems I have with a lot of newer fnaf games/media shine through but overall I think it was a solid movie. There’s some things I would’ve done differently personally but it wasn’t bad. I’m okay with it being our fnaf movie. I have a few things as a diehard fnaf fan since the first game that I am a little salty or upset about, but it’s not really the movie’s fault. It’s kinda just how fnaf is nowadays. Some for the better, some for the worst. So some pros (in my opinion. Keep that in mind and if you did really enjoy it that’s great! Like I said it’s a pretty solid movie I just have a frustrations with it or questions about it).
Pros!
I really liked all the characters I think the writing was pretty strong for the most part! A few parts were a little shaky but for the most part I really liked all the characters we got. I liked the characterization of the animatronics especially. I know a lot of people are complaining about “the pillow fort scene” but I actually liked how they did that. I can understand where are coming from with that (i could admittedly see how for some people it takes away from the horror aspect for later scenes) but I like that they gave the animatronics childlike behavior and made them a little sympathetic. I thought it was really cute. I get where people are coming from with that but tbh I think fnaf fans villainize the dead kids WAY too much. So it was nice to have them acknowledge them being kids and acting like that.
The visuals and set were GORGEOUS!!! This cinematically had some really strong scenes and I could gush about the practical effects for hours. The animatronics looked beautiful and I have almost no complaints visually about it. I also liked some of the YouTube cameos and how they weren’t too in your face. The only one I found kind of immersion breaking was matpat’s to be honest. Just cause his line felt kind of forced but it was a quick cameo so I can forgive that. Truthfully I didn’t even realize it was him till he said that so.
William fucking Afton bro.. Oh my god when I tell you Matthew Lillard absolutely ate this role up.. like my god. I knew he was gonna be good but he was absolutely iconic. He’s probably one of my favorite depictions of William Afton to date. His delivery, his mannerisms. It was (chef’s kiss). The springlock suit (WHICH ILL BE SO FR I DID NOT THINK THEY WERE GOING TO PUT THE SPRINGLOCK SUIT IN THE MOVIE MY JAW DROPPED WHEN THAT HAPPENED) scene is probably one of my favorites in the movie. When Cassidy(?) watches him just like dying and closes the door on him. Chills. I though that whole part was really well done. I wish the springlock sounds were a little louder but regardless I think they found a way to capture the horror of the springlocks while not making it too intense. Some people will find that as a con but I personally think it’s a pro because I would say this movie is a general audience film. There’s some very disturbing or unsettling parts but I think this is actually somewhat of a good gateway to horror film for younger audiences.
As goofy and kinda dumb as the cupcake looked at times I honestly love that he got so much screen time. I love that guy. Cupcake is underrated even if a bit silly.
I lost my shit when the FNAF 1 song played at the credits. I was SO excited. I’m really happy for TLT that his music got up on the big screen too. I cant imagine how cool that is.
Now for in my opinion what the cons are:
My biggest issue with this movie is the plot. And I know a lot of people are going to say “it’s a different timeline!” Or “it’s based on the books”. I would have no problem with that except for the fact that we still know nothing about the Afton family after all these years. I was really hoping (although I was aware it was going to be a different storyline) they would’ve kept Abby, Michael, and Garett Aftons. Because even if I just isolate the movie itself from the games, it just makes more sense. The way William acts when he first reads Mike’s name, The fact William would’ve had to gone out of his way to go to Nebraska and specifically target Garett. The film takes place in Minnesota, the pizzeria is there. Why is William Afton in Nebraska? It doesn’t make sense. Now, the only OTHER explanation I can think of for this is that Michael, Abby, and Garret are Emilys or the movie’s Emily equivalents. Even though I have some problems with this I will say I don’t entirely hate Vanessa being an Afton in this. It’s an interesting idea and the dynamic is alright. Truthfully I wouldn’t have a problem with any of this but this is a problem that I keep having with FNAF as a whole. FNAF keeps actively refusing to acknowledge any Afton that isn’t William (and sometimes Elizabeth in the books). And I don’t understand why? I don’t understand the aversion especially considering Michael was the protagonist for so many of the games. He is SUCH an interesting and important character and I was so deeply disappointed to find out he wasn’t an Afton in this universe because we finally had some kind of characterization of him (that I really loved tbh). I think it’s just frustrating as a longtime fan there are so many questions that go completely unanswered for no reason. Knowing things like the crying child’s name is something that has no real relevance on the plot and yet we still are refused a direct answer. I don’t mind a bit of mystery but when it’s been almost a decade and we still know nothing about half the games’ main protagonist. I have a little bit of an issue with this tbh. I wasn’t actually expecting this movie to have Mike and Abby be Aftons actually, but the way WATCHING the movie led me to start to believe that got me excited. Maybe that’s just a me problem.. Then the reveal happened and I was left kind of scratching my head. I think FNAF does that a lot, to me at least.
I also think having Vanessa be an Afton, although interesting is kind of a disservice to her character. Vanessa is a character I have found really interesting since she was first announced. I don’t have an issue with her being in this movie at all. In fact I really liked her in this movie. If you’re gonna do a different timeline thing then that’s fine. But I think it’s kind of a disservice to her to make her an Afton, I like the idea of there being another fnaf character who stands on her own. I wish in security breach they kept alot of the FNAF:AR stuff cannon that was established. I feel like they did nothing with her character in Security Breach which SUCKED because I think her whole character is so interesting and I would’ve loved to have seen more of a characterization of her in this movie. I hate this idea of making everyone related to Afton it feels lazy. The theories with Vanessa and Gregory being Aftons I really don’t like. They’re fine characters on their own, if you want to focus on Aftons then just focus on the Aftons! There’s so many questions unanswered about them that you easily could still do something with them. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again I have no problem with Security Breach existing EXCEPT that it should be it’s own story with no relation to the old storyline. It could’ve been a really solid Sci-Fi type game especially with the DLC that came out. Afton shouldn’t be there.
I keep talking about this problem with ‘modern day fnaf’ so what is it? What is the problem that affects even this movie? Well I’ll tell you, FNAF constantly changes. Things are things added to the lore making it more confusing and convoluted (which to be fair has been a problem wayyy before SB even with some of my favorite titles in the series), and imo it makes it almost impossible for new fans to join. As an older fan who is fairly active indulging in FNAF I can barely can keep up. I know a lot of people like the convoluted and insane lore and to some extent so do I. But it’s gotten to the point where I feel a little bit of disappointment after each game and a little after the movie. I’m okay with mystery and theorizing, in fact it’s one of my favorite parts about FNAF! But having been here for so long and I still feel like we never get any answers or we’re ALWAYS left with more answers. It gets frustrating. I don’t want everything to be answered but lately every FNAF game and piece of media has left me with more questions than answers. To the point I think it affects the main plot. I also want to say it’s very hard to keep up with everything. I don’t have the money for the books or the time to read all the books and I don’t understand the whole “it’s not canon to the game lore but we’re gonna put it in there anyways!”. I don’t know. To be honest I wouldn’t have AS much as a problem with it if it was actually separate, but even though it’s stated to be it keeps seeping into the game storyline. I don’t necessarily think it’s bad to bring something like the mimic in, but it’s kind of upsetting when I watched the movie and felt there were more references to the books than the games. I was disappointed there was no ‘hello? Hello?’ Or freddy nose honk, or just a few things that are really iconic to the game. I thought the sparky being canon thing was awesome though! That was a real treat. But I do think the silver eyes was a good idea to take inspiration from. But again I also don’t understand why they wouldn’t just make a silver eyes movie? Idk I guess it’s just frustrating having been here so long and if someone asked me to explain FNAF there’s really no way of giving a set summary. Hell, even most of the “lore” explanation videos half of it isn’t even canon or confirmed. It’s just speculation or ‘a theory’. I love this franchise a lot and I guess it’s just kind of upsetting for it to be a struggle now to understand and keep up with everything. Especially when I used to find it really fun to try and do so, and now I just feel like there’s no payoff to it. And that it’s just way too confusing and overwhelming. Maybe there never really was a payoff? Or maybe it always an issue? I mean FNAF has had like 4 different ‘endings’ and then kept going. Idk I think just.. having been waiting for this movie for 8 years and it leaving me with a somewhat similar feeling after I finished security breach, I’m a little disappointed. That being said…
I will say, overall the movie itself was a little better than i expected to be honest. Which I’m very happy about My expectations for this movie were to have a good time and have a fun campy horror flick. I pleasantly surprised in a lot of areas and most of my gripes with it are kind of just my gripes with how fnaf has been as a franchise. All my criticisms of this movie and franchise are out of love and wanting the best for this series. Seriously, this series means the world to me. Most of my really close and best friends I met through FNAF, and some of my fondest memories are FNAF related. Even if the movie and franchise aren’t perfect and I have a lot of frustrations with it, I’m glad after 8 years of hearing about this movie I finally got to see it. Kid me would be absolutely over the moon right now. A part of me is. Despite its flaws I’m really proud to see how much this franchise has grown. FNAF you’re not perfect, not even close, but you mean a lot to me. Im glad you made it to the big screen after all this time :>

fucked up in the crib thinking about canon william trying to convince nolan that they're the same when they're the inverse of one another. william recognizes that nolan is that universe's respective afton down to willingly being the last scion of the afton family through marriage with springtrap, but nolan believes he's nothing alike to william because of their morals alone, not realizing that they're disturbingly alike.
ignoring the parallels in appearance, they have incredibly similar ideaologies. william has a mysterious motive, maybe he's driven by tragedy of his family or through pure sadism. the same can be said about nolan, his motive can be because of his desire for protecting his family or just through the pure sadism groomed into him by his biological family.
and just. the tension of that conversation. imagining nolan's only reason that he even gets into contact with canon william is through a threat of violence against his family with almost disturbing poise, as if they knew exactly how to get his attention and nolan willingly takes the bait to meet him somewhere.
Tumblr media
"Well, aren't you a clever boy?"
"Now that I'm here, in the heart of your world... You're the vigilante, huh?"
"William Afton."
"Tell me you missed me?"
"You had that punk threaten my family."
"Why am I talking with you, William?"
"Lighten up will you? You're always so grim. Your voice in the news doesn't do you justice, boy!"
"..."
"My God, do you ever loosen up? I need a partner anyways. I've seen you in the field - doing the manly work. It's what you're good at, right? All those recordings are telling the truth? Nolan Williams: the vigilante. Christ, our names are similar. Aft-on. No-lan. Williams."
"I'm here to help you."
"We both want the same things, right? Answers. I happen to know that you've hit a wall."
"..."
"Yeah, I figured. So I come bearing glad tidings. I know about your boyfriend. You're a sick animal, huh? Willingly having a relationship with a springlock victim? Oh, don't tell me it's not like that!"
"When you decide that I'm not of any use to you, you'll end up hurting them to get to me."
"That'll be your fuck-up."
"Bullshit! You claim I'm jumping the gun? Ha, please. Don't make me laugh. You're the one on the news trying to play superheroes."
"You're bailing on a perfectly good scheme."
"You'll go home safe and nobody will find out about what we'll do together if you just stand by me."
"You've threatened my family. You're going too far. They're all I have left. And I'll make sure I'm the last face you see if you lay a finger on him."
"Oh, you're adorable. Blaming your family problems on me? 'William crossed a line, he made the bad man angry.' What about me?"
"WHAT ABOUT YOU?"
"You're not the only one suffering! They took everything from me!"
"Don't you see? That's what binds us together."
"You have nothing I need."
"Listen, do you want to see your family alive? You HAVE to listen to me. Don't fuck around."
"Well, that may be, William. But you're not doing that on your own."
"You need me. But I don't need you."
"Don't walk away, Nolan."
"Thanks for the advice."

❛  i didn't want to do that.  ❜
A static-flooded growl filled the air.
Freddy's eyes were as dark as a void, leaving nothing but a speck of red to bore into the putrid yellow rabbit. He almost appeared to be shaking, twitching with the broil of anger that came flooding into his system, overloading everything at just the very sight of the other before him. The bear had gone over many scenarios in his head about what would happen, and what would be said if he ever encountered this monster, utter psychopath another time. The animatronic had hoped he would never have to look into the eyes of Springtrap again, the man within him...and yet, here he was.
Like a broken record.
It had already been so hard for the brown bear when the souls had been freed, and he had to give the deepest goodbye to the part of him that wasn't supposed to be there...but had made a home anyway. Freddy didn't know that he'd be given the chance to walk the earth again-thanks to Fazbear Entertainment who just loved to salvage and recycle-but also, the horrid fate that had awaited the purple man, William Afton, when he had put on that bunny suit and laughed, it haunted the mascot still.
"Don't." Fazbear finally managed to hiss out. "Don't even try. I don't want to hear it! You're here...trying to do this now?" It was his turn to laugh and he proceeded to shake his head in pure disbelief. "....You know, I learned a lot from humans in my time...that so many of them believe that it's never too late for anyone to do the right thing. That redemption, forgiveness is a value they swear to, live by." Freddy began to stomp towards the golden rotting bunny, his eyes still red as a blood moon. "They're wrong! Want to know why? It's far too late for a bastard like you, that's why!" The mechanical bear was up in Springtrap's face now, muzzle to muzzle. "...If you hadn't wanted to do what you did to them...to us, old buddy, you wouldn't have DONE IT-!"
The animatronic shoved the other with all his might.
Well, at least there was one difference...Freddy realized as his paws balled into fists, it was that he was no longer afraid.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Nothing Remains, Night 1: We Will Always Be Together
Tumblr media
''Memory just have been rotten, sweet old times has not forgotten. Mindless scream, misunderstanding, can you search for better ending? Tears of fear show you despair, hug your little teddy bear. Happiness will last forever, we will always be together!''
– Five Nights at Freddy's 4 Song by MiatriSs (Five Nights at Freddy's 4)
xXxXxXx
She shivered, listening to the thunderstorm outside. Even though she was inside the house, she knew that she wasn't safe. There was an intruder in the house and she was currently searching for him, armed solely with a flashlight. She knew that it wouldn't help her much, but she hoped that she would be able to find him.
She was in the hallway, peeking into the living room nervously. Her heart was racing as she anticipated for something to happen and scare her. As she looked up, she froze when she saw a gleam of purple light reflected on the window. Her eyes widened in fear as she realized that the intruder was right behind her.
However, before she could do anything, she felt two arm wrapping around her torso and dragging her back, almost lifting her up. She cried out in surprise, letting her flashlight fall down as she tried to pry the intruder's hands away. However, instead of feeling human flesh and bones, there was only fur and metal.
''Do you really think I would let you go so easily?'' She shuddered as she heard him talk. His voice was sinister, deep and raspy, and he had a slight British accent. ''Don't struggle, it'll be over soon.''
''Let me go, William!''
However, instead of screaming, she sounded more annoyed about her situation. It didn't help that she was smiling, knowing well that she was in no danger whatsoever. She glanced at the intruder, who was grinning back at her, looking rather amused.
''You can struggle all you want, but you can't beat me at this game, Sam,'' he replied, but let her go.
Sam sighed, picking her flashlight up. Her actual name was Samantha Blackburn and she was a teen with brown hair and brown eyes, currently wearing a black T-shirt and jeans with slight tears in them, which was her usual home attire. She then pointed the flashlight at the intruder, who was still smiling.
He was an animatronic bunny with clean, fluffy golden-green fur. He had a purple bowtie tied around his neck and also had a fluffy cotton tail. His eyes, normally silver and green, were currently glowing purple. There was also a tear over his right eye, looking like a badly healed scar. The animatronic was also containing the soul of a serial killer, known as William Afton.
''You'd think that an animatronic like you would be easy to locate,'' Sam said. It was Friday evening and the two were actually playing some kind of Hide & Seek game, having turned off all of the lights, with Sam only using her flashlight to navigate through the house. She was supposed to find the animatronic without him finding her first, but it obviously proved to be rather difficult. ''Although, you did tell me that you're quite a stealth expert, right, Springtrap?''
''Exactly,'' Springtrap replied, only for both of them to wince when they suddenly heard the thunder exploding somewhere above them. The two exchanged glances, albeit not too worried about the storm. It had been going on for a while and the rain had stopped, but the storm was still not calming down. ''Anyways, do you want to continue or should we cut our game short, at least until the thunderstorm wanes?''
''Maybe we should continue later,'' Sam said when she heard it thundering again, this time much louder. Springtrap nodded, turning the lights in the living room on, only for them to flicker a moment later and turn off. Surprised, he flipped the switch a few times, but nothing had happened.
''Seriously?'' he muttered.
''I guess that the storm had knocked the power out,'' Sam said, crossing her arms. Springtrap shrugged, with the only source of light now being Sam's flashlight and his glowing eyes. ''My laptop has a full battery though, so we could watch a movie on it or play a videogame.''
''I don't think it would be a smart idea to have the electronics on during a storm like this one, whether they're plugged in or not,'' Springtrap replied.
''Okay, do you have any other suggestions?'' Sam asked. Springtrap shrugged, not really having anything on mind, only for them to get interrupted by a song suddenly playing on Sam's smartphone.
''It must have been inside my head, I've lost the hope that I have lived. And now, at last, it comes to pass.''
''Mum is calling,'' Sam said as she took out her smartphone, which was playing The Dark of You by Breaking Benjamin, and checked the caller's ID.
''We sleep, we dream, we have no less, along the path we lost our way. It's all a game that I must play, and now the weak that fall return to ash, defeated after all.''
Springtrap felt a little tense as talking to Emma never ended up well for him. Somehow, despite the fact that he was a dangerous immortal serial killer who could easily end anyone's life, he felt intimidated by her. Whenever she looked at him, he felt as if she could look right past all the metal and fur and gaze directly at his corrupted soul. There was also the fact that she was the only person alive, aside from Sam, who knew who he was and what he had done, having figured it out the very same day she met him.
''Fade away to the wicked world we left and I become the dark of you. Say a prayer for the wounded heart within as I become the dark of you…''
Not to mention, there was also the conversation they had about what happened a few days ago, with Springtrap trying to avoid talking to Emma ever since, feeling anxious every time she even addressed him. Sam finally answered the call, putting it on the loudspeaker.
''Hello?''
''Hi, Sam! How are you? Is everything okay?'' Emma asked. ''I hope Afton isn't bothering you.''
''Don't worry, we're both fine,'' Sam replied, sitting down on the couch. Springtrap frowned, joining her on the couch.
''Why should I even bother her?'' he asked, feeling a little annoyed. While he did feel anxious around Emma, he also knew that he couldn't avoid talking to her forever.
''Considering what kind of person you are, Afton, I should expect that something might happen,'' Emma replied, with Springtrap feeling a mix of irritation, anxiety and discomfort. ''Anyways, how is the weather here?''
''We're currently in the middle of a thunderstorm, although it did stop raining,'' Sam explained.
''Also, the storm has knocked the power out,'' Springtrap added.
''Well, that's unfortunate.''
''Where are you anyways?'' Sam asked.
''In a motel,'' Emma said. ''There was an accident on the road due to the storm, so I figured that I should stay somewhere and wait it out. I was just reading the news on my phone and somewhere a tree had fallen over on the road, causing it to be blocked. Luckily, nobody got hurt.''
''I see,'' Sam muttered. ''So, when are you coming home?''
''Probably tomorrow afternoon,'' Emma said. ''I assume you two have planned something for tomorrow.''
Sam and Springtrap exchanged glances, with the uncanny feeling that Emma was reading their minds. However, it wasn't that surprising considering how they were always up to something and she was well aware that, whatever they were planning to do, they would eventually end up getting into some kind of trouble.
''Yeah, we did,'' Sam admitted.
''Okay, just don't burn down anything,'' Emma said in a deadpan tone. Sam and Springtrap exchanged looks of guilt. ''Also, Sam, don't use your laptop during a thunderstorm.''
''But, I didn't-'' Sam tried to protest, while Springtrap was chuckling. ''Why would you even think-''
''As if I don't know you,'' Emma replied. ''Also, Afton, if you think that this is funny, why don't you stand outside in the storm? I'm sure that nothing bad will happen.''
Springtrap looked stunned, with Sam turning to him with a grin on her expression. He then frowned, annoyed.
''Don't give me that expression, Afton,'' Emma added, with both Sam and Springtrap feeling creeped out. ''Before you ask, no I'm not a psychic. It was just an assumption and considering how both of you are silent, I guess that I'm right. Not to mention, you're kinda predictable.''
''You can't be serious…'' Springtrap muttered.
''In any case, I'll see you both tomorrow,'' Emma said. ''Good night!''
''Bye!'' Sam said, cancelling the call. She turned to Springtrap, who seemed to be somewhat disgruntled. ''Are you okay?''
''How does she do that?'' Springtrap asked. ''I know that she said that she isn't a psychic, but still, she's freaking me out with her assumptions. You'd think that I would've gotten used to it at this point.''
''Spring, this is my mum we're talking about,'' Sam replied.
''Yeah, you're right,'' Springtrap replied in a resigned tone. ''At least she didn't sound upset, aside from that comment about burning the house down.''
''I agree that it could've been much worse,'' Sam said, sighing. She started to play with the flashlight, turning it off. She turned to Springtrap, whose eyes were glowing in a faint purple, illuminating her. ''I mean, remember her reaction when we told her what happened?''
''I'm trying not to,'' Springtrap replied, feeling uncomfortable about the memory.
Several days ago, he and Sam found themselves in a rather dangerous situation. A man named Connor Davis wanted to learn how to reach immortality by attaching his soul to an animatronic. He forced both Springtrap and Sam to come to the Machinations Factory, threatening them that he would murder someone if they didn't agree to come. While they did agree, they had also decided to burn the animatronics Connor had created, only for the rest of the factory to catch on fire. Not only that, but when Connor lunged at Sam in order to kill her, Springtrap managed to seize the switchblade Connor was using and killed him.
He deserved to die, didn't he? Springtrap glanced at his hands, remembering that, just a few days ago, they had been covered with blood. He clenched his palms into fists, frowning.
After they returned home, Emma had approached them, looking visibly relieved that they were back. Springtrap knew that she would be worried about them, as he told her that they both were planning on doing something dangerous and asked her to trust him on this, promising her that he would explain to her everything that happened once they came back.
Rest assured, he never knew that a person's expression and mood could change so fast, as Emma went during the conversation from surprised to worried, to angry, to furious, to relieved and was left completely shocked at the end. She was staring at them in disbelief, with both Sam and Springtrap feeling anxious about her reaction.
''Okay, first of all, I'm glad that you made it alive out of that place,'' Emma said. Springtrap remembered how he and Sam exchanged glances of relief, believing that they were off the hook. They had no idea how wrong they were. Emma then suddenly lifted her hand, drawing their attention. She then glared at both of them, with them suddenly knowing what was following. ''On the other hand-'' She took a deep breath, with Sam and Springtrap huddling together in fear. ''WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TWO EVEN THINKING?! Are you crazy?! Seriously, were you trying to get yourselves killed?! Honestly, I had expected that you'd be smarter than that, especially you Afton! You should've known better than doing something insane like this!''
''I'm sorry, Mum,'' Sam muttered. ''This was kind of the reason why we didn't tell you the whole story until everything was said and done.''
''You are aware that you could've just perished and I wouldn't have been none the wiser,'' Emma turned to her daughter furiously. ''What was even on your mind, Sam?!''
''Emma, this isn't Sam's fault as much as it is mine,'' Springtrap spoke up in order to defend Sam. ''I was the one who suggested to burn the place down. Not to mention, I was the reason why Connor had also targeted Sam.''
''Exactly,'' Emma said as she glared at him. Springtrap knew that, if looks could kill, he would've already been back to Hell. ''You are the reason why she's in this mess in the first place. If it weren't for what you had done, none of this would've happened.''
''I know,'' Springtrap muttered, lowering his head and closing his eyes. ''I'm sorry, I honestly am. I don't want to cause neither you nor Sam so much trouble and grief. If you want me to leave…''
''You won't leave,'' Emma said, causing Springtrap and Sam to look at her. Her arms were crossed and she was still glaring at both of them, but she seemed to be much calmer now. ''After all, you made a deal with Sam, meaning she is the one to have the final say in whether you would go or not.''
''It's not as if I don't respect your decision in all of this,'' Springtrap replied. ''Sam is your daughter and this is your house. I know that you would do everything to keep her happy and safe, and so do I. I understand that I should've done something else, but at that point, I believed that it was the only option I had. I apologize for not telling you anything, but I hoped that you would trust me.''
''Yes, you wanted me to blindly trust you,'' Emma replied angrily. ''Have you even considered that I might've trusted you even if you had told me what you had planned to do?!''
''I didn't…'' Springtrap muttered.
''And this is the reason why I'm calling you a reckless idiot,'' Emma said. She sighed, shaking her head. ''Although, I do understand that you wouldn't exactly be willing to tell anyone anything, considering your people skills, but you should've known better.''
''You're right,'' Springtrap said, lowering his head.
''I hope you'll keep that in mind for next time, as I'm quite sure that you two getting yourselves into trouble won't stop,'' Emma said. Sam and Springtrap stared at her in surprise, realizing that Emma would still let Springtrap stay here, despite everything. She seemed to already know what they were thinking, as she added, ''I am still mad at you, but you're free to go.''
''Thanks, Mum! You're the best!'' Sam told her and then hugged her. Emma hugged her back, unable to stop herself from smiling. She may have been angry at her daughter for doing something dangerous, but in the end, she was happy that Sam was fine.
''Yeah, I know,'' Emma replied as she let her go. ''But, seriously, next time you try to do something insane like this, you should tell me first.''
''We'll try,'' Sam said, giving her a sheepish smile. She then glanced at Springtrap and went upstairs, with Springtrap following her. He was just glad that he could put this whole mess behind him and simply wanted to recover from this whole experience with Connor.
''Afton.''
Springtrap felt chills spreading through his endoskeleton when Emma suddenly called out for him. He turned around to her, noticing her glaring at him. She looked quite irritated.
''Yes?'' He gave her a nervous glance. Emma took a deep breath, with Springtrap fearing that she might start yelling at him again. What the hell did I do now?!
''I just wanted to thank you for keeping your promise and bringing Sam back home safe and sound,'' Emma said, leaving Springtrap stunned.
''I-'' He managed to snap out of his stunned state. ''Do you really think that I would let her get hurt?''
''No,'' Emma replied curtly. ''But I do know that you can be really irresponsible and not think things through.''
That's true, Springtrap thought.
''Hey, Will?''
Springtrap turned to Sam, who gave him a curious look. It was obvious that she had noticed him being once again lost in his thoughts.
''Yeah?'' he asked.
''It's surprising that Mum accepted all of this the way she did, right?'' Sam said, playing with the flashlight. ''Honestly, I thought she'd freak out more, perhaps ground me for life and kick you out.''
''I had told Emma that we were about to do something dangerous, so I guess that she had enough time to mentally prepare herself for anything. Who knows, maybe she thought that whatever we were dealing with was even worse than she had imagined,'' Springtrap said. ''Although, I do have to side with her on keeping her informed about what we're up to. Honestly, I have a lot of respect for her, and I'm glad that she wasn't the one who tormented me in Hell.''
I do hope that kid isn't taking notes.
''I can only imagine how that would've looked like,'' Sam said in a slightly amused tone, feeling pity for him. However, her expression then changed to a look of concern. ''Then, there was that news article about the Machinations Factory. Not only did they extinguish the fire, but they also had found the dismembered remains of Bella Curtis buried behind the factory.''
Springtrap nodded.
''The police has declared the fire to be arson and are trying to connect it to the murder, but…'' He frowned, trailing off. Sam nodded, suddenly turning off the flashlight.
''They haven't found Connor nor the Drawkills,'' she finished his thought. Both of them knew that there would be a word about Connor's death in the news, especially considering the weird stuff that happened at Ricky's Wonder Shack. ''If he's alive somehow… He's still out there…''
''Or, he's still out there, but dead…'' Springtrap said in an icy tone. ''If that's the case…''
He still remembered how he had slit Connor's throat, with blood spraying everywhere, staining his own hands, as well as the Ricky Wolfrun suit Connor was wearing. Despite the rage that was surging through his body, he also enjoyed seeing Connor's shocked expression as he realized what happened.
I told him I would kill him, and I always keep my promises.
''There's no way that Connor had managed to survive this,'' Springtrap muttered, remembering how he had pushed Connor into the flames afterwards. ''Although, whether this is a good thing or not, I'm not sure…''
The two fell silent. There was another sound of thunder, this time not as loud as before. Sam sighed, turning her flashlight on.
''You know, I am looking forward to tomorrow,'' Sam said in a more optimistic tone, looking up to him. ''After all, Freddy's is finally opening.''
''The only question I have is how long it will last,'' Springtrap said. Sam's eyes narrowed, even though she did anticipate him to be his usual cynical self. She, on the other hand, felt both nervous and excited. After all, it has been a while since she had visited a functioning Freddy's location, and even then, she had little to no idea what really was going on.
''Honestly, I can't-'' Sam cut herself off when the lights suddenly turned on. The power had returned and the sound of thunder became more scarce and distant. Sam turned her flashlight off and went to the light switch, turning it off as well, with Springtrap feeling somewhat puzzled by why she turned the lights off.
''Sam?''
''As I said, I honestly can't wait to finally visit Freddy's after it has been opened,'' Sam said as she turned the TV on. ''So, do you want to watch a movie?''
''Feel free to pick anything,'' Springtrap replied, with Sam ending up picking a movie called The Orphanage. According to the summary Sam had briefly checked, it was about a woman who had been hired at an orphanage, with her noticing strange events happening there; most importantly, the ghost children that are haunting the place. She tries to find out what happened and suspects that her employer was responsible for the death of those children. ''Speaking of Freddy's, while they might not pay much attention to me, they might notice that there's an animatronic who isn't supposed to be here. However, I don't think that there will be any problems.''
''When you think about it, when didn't we have any problems at Freddy's?'' Sam asked. Springtrap shrugged, remembering all the mishaps that occurred at every Freddy's location that they had visited. He felt a little anxious.
''You're right,'' he said. ''I guess that we should be prepared for anything once we go there.''
xXx
It was well past midnight, with Springtrap lying on the couch in his room, or rather, the guest room, looking through the window. Clouds were still covering the sky, but the thunderstorm had passed. Springtrap figured that the following day would be sunny as usual, with little to no evidence that there was a storm the night before, unless the lightning managed to hit something. On the other hand, the weather was the least of his concerns.
Currently, the only reason why he was even awake was his own condition. Being a soul animating an animatronic left him in a state that didn't let him fall asleep. Or at least, he still hadn't figured out how to manage that. After all, it was possible to turn an animatronic off, but he figured that being a haunted animatronic made things more difficult.
He was trying to distract himself by thinking about the ending of the movie he and Sam had watched. Apparently, it turned out that the woman who investigated the orphanage was actually dead all along. She had accidentally caused a fire during a mental breakdown and was reliving her own death ever since. The ghost children she'd see had also died in the fire and tried to help her move on, as she was the only thing that kept them from leaving. It did creep him out a little, as it reminded him of his own situation with the children, or rather, that one kid who won't stop pestering him.
Springtrap sighed, knowing that there had been situations where he had been mentally and emotionally at his lowest. In comparison to those situations, his current state of mind was rather calm and healthy. He was more than fine, but there were still moments of anxiety, moments when he was on edge and unable to trust the situation that he was in. He always felt that something bad might happen if he let his guard down and relaxed. It was quite exhausting.
Not to mention, there was still one unanswered question on his mind.
Why am I here?
He remembered Hell, with the memories of the torture and numerous agonizing deaths he had went through still haunting him. He could hear the animatronics' taunts, mocking him and threatening him, promising him an even worse demise for the next night. In the end, despite his desire to fight back, he had suffered from a complete mental breakdown. He was tired of everything and at one point, he just wanted for everything to end.
It was a miracle that I had even managed to last so long. I had been determined to carry on to the bitter end or, in other words, forever.
His eyes were glowing in a faint purple as he remembered the office he was stuck in. He sat up, looking around the room and then leaned against the couch.
I escaped Hell, but why would I have even been allowed to leave?
Aside from his tormentor and the animatronics, there was also someone else there, observing him. He had no idea who this entity was, but they told him that he was allowed to return to finish what he had started. However, he wasn't sure what that meant, even though he had a few assumptions. While his memories were hazy, he believed that this wasn't the only time he had encountered that entity, and that he had actually seen them before.
Or, was it just another hallucination?
Springtrap closed his eyes, trying to recall his experience in the office. It had been another night, but then…
''Shhh… I've been looking for you… and now I will never let you go…''
William glared at Lefty, his purple shirt covered with blood. The black bear animatronic Henry had created for his daughter Charlie was staring at him coldly, watching him as he coughed up blood, knowing that he would suffer another slow death. Then, the animatronic left, satisfied with his work. William knew that the animatronic would return to torment him for another night.
He then leaned back against the chair, waiting for the darkness to overwhelm him. He knew that he couldn't escape and that it was pointless to try and find a way out. The most he could do was to fight back, to win as many nights as possible. The fact that there was a way to win the night, even if the game itself was endless, was what kept him going. Every time he won, he knew that he made the spirit who kept him here only more furious.
It was worth it.
He stared ahead, only to see something in the hallway. His vision was blurry for a moment and he gasped in pain as he tried to sit up and see what it was. Fighting back the agonizing throbbing in his chest, he realized that it was some kind of animatronic. Its eyes were glowing brightly, but the rest of its body remained in the shadows. It looked as if it was fading in and out of existence, its body being dark green and its head twitching.
''Shhh…''
It waved at him, then slowly backed away into the darkness.
It was the same animatronic I had seen before, Springtrap thought. He tried to recall more, but all he remembered was the purple glow in the animatronic's eyes. Who was he?
The animatronic had never attacked him. Instead, it would pay him a visit randomly and then back away, disppearing. He had no idea what the animatronic wanted from him, but if the animatronic was indeed the entity who talked to him, it was clear that he was dealing with someone who was interested in him.
He could still remember the entity's voice. It felt distant, yet somewhat familiar. Going by what he was told, the entity seemed to know him, being aware of his past and offering him help. But, at the same time, it sounded arrogant, charismatic and confident.
''An entity a mere soul cannot comprehend.''
Then I will find out who you are! Springtrap's eyes flared purple.
Aside from this entity, he was also being observed by someone else. That person was a little child, one of his former victims. He didn't know their name, but he knew that they had created the Hell he was trapped in. Once he had managed to escape, the kid decided to continue tormenting him by creating hallucinations that would often drive him into complete madness. It seemed as if none of the despair Springtrap felt was enough to satisfy the kid.
Aside from that kid, there was also Henry Emily, William's old partner and friend. He was aware of what was going on and was worried that William might go back to his old habits as a murderer. While William told him that he wouldn't act like his old murderous self, he did admit that he had his own plans for his stay here. What made Henry even more worried was the fact that William's plans had also included Sam. After all, William had already managed to destroy his own family, so what did this mean for Sam?
I told him that I wouldn't let Sam get hurt. I won't let her end up like Elizabeth, Sammy and Michael. Springtrap's ears lowered, with him sighing.
There had been moments where he had wondered whether he would see his family ever again. He felt regret for letting them die in the most horrifying deaths possible, all of which could've been prevented. Elizabeth had died at Circus Baby's hands, who was one of his creations, only to have her soul trapped inside the animatronic. Sammy had his frontal lobe crushed by Fredbear after Michael and his friends put him into Fredbear's mouth. Michael had been scooped and worn as a suit by Ennard, only for the latter to escape and Michael being left alive, but his body decaying, due to remnant.
I was never personally involved into any of their deaths, but what happened to them was my fault.
Springtrap felt a cold feeling spreading through his chest. None of them had deserved any of the pain and anguish they had gone through. He hoped that they were happy and at peace now.
Even if I want to see them again, I doubt that they would want to see me ever again, especially after what I had done to them.
He had never thought that he would be feeling such an amount of self-hatred and regret, but he did, even though the people he knew didn't believe him. In the end, it didn't matter, as he couldn't turn the clock back. All that was left for him was Sam, whom he had begun to see as his own daughter.
Not that Emma and Henry were happy with that idea.
He had been told by both of them that, considering his current mental state, he wasn't really fit to act as if he were her father. Not to mention the fact that he had destroyed his own family. He understood why both of them wanted him to stay away from Sam, but he and Sam had their own agreement. They wanted to deal with this situation on their own and Springtrap felt that they had handled it well so far.
Springtrap looked through the window, noticing that the sky was clearing, with stars being visible between the clouds. He felt a little crestfallen.
I want to stay, but I feel that this isn't possible.

MAJOR FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS, JUST GETTING SOME THOUGHTS OUT BC IM GOING INSANE
I wasn't sure about it at first, but the more I think ab it, the more I actually really love the whole "Vanessa being Afton's daughter" thing???
I mean, it was basically clued in from the moment she turned up-she had a knowledge of the pizzeria and a love for it. She knew of the history and its happenings, she knew what springlocks were and was clearly letting on more than she said. She was always concerned ab Abby's safety, to the point where she literally threatened to shoot Mike if he brought her around the pizzeria again. It was all so obvious, and yet I never even put two and two together until after the movie.
When the two of them (Mike and Vanessa) are both sitting near the river/creek/whatever the hell it is, the camera lingers on her as Mike talks ab what he and his family did before all went to hell. You just know exactly what she's thinking.
The reveal, god the reveal. Not even just the reveal that her father was Afton, the reveal of that the kids' bodies were inside the animatronics. Of course she would know-she's a cop, and she knows her father better than anyone else. The screaming of children as the camera shows each of the animatronics is simply so haunting.
The shots of her staring at the childrens' drawings, that's when you see the tragedy and devastation of all that's happened really hit her. It's all dawning on her, something she's ignored and locked away, it's all coming to light and hitting her.
Then the reunion. The reunion of a sick man and his daughter. She's been covering his horrific misdeeds for years now, still loyal to him as most children are to their parents, but seeing the bond between Mike and Abby and the toll Garrett's kidnapping has taken on Mike, she stands up to him.
As he turns around she grabs his arm, determined to not let him take another child's life.
And he stabs her.
And all she can do it whisper "dad", then fall to the ground.
But Matthew Lillard does smth absolutely amazing-he has a very small look of regret and remorse, before snapping back to what he was doing. But that look of regret, the look of a father realizing he just stabbed his own daughter before going back to his original plan-it's haunting.
Even though he was angry at her for her lies, her relationship to the man who took his brother, and everything in between, Mike still gets her up and to a hospital.
Mike visiting her in the hospital is heartbreaking. He can only hold her hand and hope she gets better. Abby-who has formed an almost sisterlike relationship with Vanessa-asks Mike if he told Vanessa hi for her. (Fuck I'm gonna start crying if I keep talking ab it)
I wasn't sure ab not having Mike be William's child at first. But seeing this and really thinking ab it, I think making Vanessa his daughter was a great choice. I really hope Vanessa comes back for the almost-nearly-guaranteed sequel. I have a very good feeling that she will (I mean she's basically the Michael Afton of this iteration) but either way I need her back.
There's so much I can say ab this movie as it was absolutely incredible, but this dichotomy of Vanessa and William and the tolls that William's actions have taken on Mike truly stuck out to me.
Anyway Vanessa is the character of the FNAF movie and I love her and I support both her rights and her wrongs. Elizabeth Lail you are amazing and ACAB for everyone except for Vanessa and Judy Hopps
(Also that part after Foxy is hunting Abby and Vanessa pulls Abby out of the ballpit into a hug, relieved that nothing has happened to her? Heartwarming af)

JUST FISNISHE DWTACHING FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDYS FILM AT CINEMA. BOY
IM SO GIDDY
SPOILERS OF COURSE!!!
IM so glad [atleast in my country] its classified as thriller it does wonders because its just clearly not horror. Its like Goofy 80s horror film and I love it. It still got some mystery [well to people who already know the game snot that much but theres still some sliver of it]. Idk i cant classify it as any genre
BUT FUCK IT I HAD FUN!!!! THATS WHAT I HOPED FOR!!!
The beggining and end were the best, middle atill was okay for me still fun :] I didnt expect Cute moments with the animatronics it was so goofy and I dig it <4
And!!! Im glad that vanessa wasnt just the love interest! I dont think it even was implied that either mike or vannessa fell in love with eachother actually. Hell for me, who knows most of the fnaf story, she was most of the mystery! Sure her plot was predictable but I think it DID make sense in the movie so its really enough for me. Tho she really has a lot going on and it would have been nice to see more of her past! Or to see that in the future?
Also its so funny to me how the plot with jane ended with her just getting fucking killed lmao
AND IM SO SO GLAD WILLIAM DYING IN SPRINGLOCKS HAPPENED. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE IT. SURE IT WASNT WOAH SO GORY BUT IT WAS THERE AND THE PERFORMANCE WAS GOOD IMO!
also hehe william really didnt give a fuck about anyone I dig that actually
Also all the references/easter eggs were fun!!
Also lmao when I realized that waiter guy was matpat. I whezeed.hes here
Love how our hate for baloon boy got acknowledged as a gag
AND WHEN THE CREDITS ROLLED. THEY PLAYED THE FIRST FNAF FAN SONG. BOY SO MANY OF US IN THE CINEMA CHEERED
To conclude: as a fnaf fan I had fun!!! Really I think my expectations have been met I didnt expect a stellar film and yeah its no that but I had fun!!
Objectively? Yeah of course its not a great thriller. Average I would say. The plot is still holding together but no tense atmosphere is really there. Characters were fun, not woah complex but fun and acting was neat! I quite enjoyed the soundtrack of this film :] a lot of 'emotional' moments didnt hit it for me but hey im still glad mike and Abby are happy
Honestly I just think there isnt exactly a good film genre for this film? Maybe im just not knowledgable enough? But it doesnt feel right to say its thriller. And its also not right to say its comedy for me
Its just. A fun movie. Nothing stellar but fun and I wasnt bored!
Okay no this si not gonna be exactly related to the movie but
IM FUCKING SERIOUS WHEN I SAY I FUCKING LOST FEEL IN MY FINGER NERVES AFTER CLAPPING AT THE SPRINGLOCKS SCENE WHEN WILLIAM AFTON SAID HIS FUCKING THING. EVERYONE WAS CLAPPING AND CHEERING AT THAT POINT TOO I THINK
Just in general love how we all in that cinema at some points had the same reactions dhdhds
Everytime afton showed up I was laughing in mischief
It was awesome to watch it on a premiere day :]

Alright I'm just gonna dump a bunch of my Marlie headcanons in one big blotch of dumbassery. Just a warning, aside from various second hand accounts and a comic dub of The Silver Eyes, I know nothing about the books
Anyways, let's-a go
Charlie is older than Michael by only a few months and constantly holds that fact over him (especially during their younger years where Mike's still a chaotic gremlin child)
They were both around twelve years old when the bite of 83 happened
After the bite of 83, Michael just shuts down. He stays home most of the time, he doesn't talk to any of friends, and he starts thinking some pretty bad thoughts about himself. Charlie is initially appalled, but after seeing that state that Mike's in, she tries to help him, and their relationship starts to change (until she gets murdered in the "Canon" timeline, but that's besides the point)
Also in the "canon" timeline, Michael and Charlie both act as guardians to the MCI victims
Michael has some bad dysmorphia when it comes to his face, which is part of why he wore his Foxy mask all the time. Charlie was one of the few people to see Mike without his mask on during their childhood
Charlie's the only person who can call Michael "Mikey"
I have a weird habit of imagining Charlie with a British accent whenever I read fanfics, so let's say that she got it from being babysat by William/hanging around Michael
I just now realized that my take on Michael and Charlie's dynamic when they were kids weirdly parallels William and Henry. The Emily is the calm voice of reason while the Afton is the off the walls visionary who ends up killing someone oops
When drawing, Michael has a habit of doodling cartoon-ish caricatures of him and Charlie (who are a fox and black bear respectively) doing stereotypical romantic stuff
Growing up Charlie always got on Michael's case about him bullying Evan, always saying that one day, he'd go too far. Guess she was right
Charlie likes to doodle even though she's not that great of an artist
Charlie is definitely the type to listen to lo-fi beats with noise canceling headphones when doing chores/stuff in general
Michael used to love screamo stuff, but now he's more of a general rock and roll kinda guy
Michael discovered a pack of his dad's cigarettes when he was ten and started smoking in secret. Charlie eventually found out and scolded him, suggesting that he chew gum instead
This isn't really a headcanon, but I've been playing with the idea of Charlie being the Bonnie-mask bully, making her partially responsible for Evan's death and giving William more of a reason to kill her specifically. Also her and Michael being rebellious little snot faces while she's still the voice of reason is a mental image that I personally love. (Also in this headcanon Au thingy, the Chica and Freddy-mask bullies would be Jessica and Carlton respectively)
Finally, Charlie could absolutely whoop Michael in a fight, she just chooses not to
Ohh okay so let me get the first thing out of the way that I don’t like. I really don’t like the idea of Charlie being the Bonnie mask bully. Simply due to the fact that it does go against her character completely and it’s just not her if that makes sense. That being said that’s the only thing I don’t like.
Some of these I agree with myself like Charlie being older than Michael by a few months and Charlie drawing a lot (my personal headcanon is that she designed the mediocre melodies before she died and that’s why Henry used them in fnaf 6).

We Can Save Them, Superstar: Ch. 5
Fandoms: Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: Gregory’s on a mission to save everyone he can in the Pizzaplex—even those that have already left this mortal plane. With the sudden return of Vanessa, it seems some lingering questions may finally be answered. But of course, nothing is easy when it comes to William Afton and his convoluted plots. To accomplish his mission, Gregory will need to work with his new friends and family… and some old, startlingly familiar faces, too.
Chapter Summary: As the earlier chaos winds down, Leon reveals some information he learned about their mysterious enemy trapped down below. This leads to more questions than answers, but at least progress is being made with finding the kids' missing items.

“...Are they gone?”
A soft question echoed from the party room as Freddy and the others approached, barely perceptible even to animatronic ears. Leon was peeking through the window, still not willing to open the door until he got confirmation those attendants weren’t about to come running for him.
“I shoved you-know-who in the corner out of sight,” he mumbled, gaze darting around to see if there were any tall shapes looming over Freddy, Chica, and Gregory.
“Not to worry, it is just us; Sun and Moon are back in the play area,” Freddy reassured, smiling apologetically through the glass. “Leon, I am so sorry for all of that… I told them many times to control themselves if they came across her, but they simply lost it. Are you alright?”
“Oh, uh—I'm fine, just gonna have some major nightmares later,” Leon responded with a dull, humorless chuckle. His eyes drifted to Chica, then back to Freddy. “…If she’s cool, I’ll open the door.”
“Ah—I believe it best for you and Gregory to remain outside, just in case,” Freddy suggested with a tilt of his head. “Is that alright, Chica?”
“Mm-hmm,” the bird confirmed amiably, bouncing the boy in her arms. “I'll keep an eye on Gregory, don't worry!"
Leon nodded, then punched in the code to unlock the door and allowed Freddy to slip inside. After relocking the door for good measure, Leon lifted his walkie and clicked onto the channel he shared with Thomas.
“The area’s cleared; creepy attendants are back downstairs, and Chica’s got Gregory,” he told his coworker, then released the button. Sinking heavily into the nearest chair, Leon massaged the bridge of his nose. “So... what's the updated plan?”
“Well—” Freddy began, but was cut off by Leon’s walkie crackling to life.
“Cool; like I told you a few minutes ago I’m not going near that fucking daycare again for like the next hundred years, okay?!” Thomas responded, voice muffled but completely understandable. He clearly didn’t realize there were others in the room with Leon. There was a pause, and then he added: “…I’ll help you move her, but I’m staying right fucking here until you absolutely have to, okay?! And also—”
“Thomas, do not worry—I will take care of things for now,” Freddy piped up, hoping he got the hint.
There was another pause, and then Thomas said in a completely exhausted tone: “…Gregory’s right there, isn’t he? Aw, shi—”
The walkie-talkie clicked off.
“You’re an idiot; I’ll update you when we’ve got things firmed up,” Leon replied with a roll of his eyes, watching through the window as Chica set Gregory down and quickly covered his ears. Hooking the walkie back onto his belt, the guard looked to Freddy again. “Remember how we said we’d try to dig up some history on Fazbear Entertainment? Earlier today I found a few video clips of William Afton. They're old and kinda grainy, but I’ve got them pulled up if you want to show Vanessa before we try and move her again.”
Leon huffed, running a hand through his hair as he glanced towards Chica out the window. “Maybe we’ll get some info out of this before they potentially go psycho again...”
“Yes, that may be a good idea,” Freddy mused, also sparing a glance towards the pair outside. Based on the rapt attention from Chica and Gregory, it was clear they could both hear what was being discussed. Freddy let out an uncertain hum. “Perhaps we should keep Vanessa out of their field of view, just in case.”
Gregory’s personal trauma with the woman notwithstanding, Freddy really wanted to trust Chica and he knew she was the calmest out of all of them when it came to stressful situations like these. But just based on the others’ reactions tonight seeing Vanessa across the room, he couldn’t help but be nervous about what would happen when Chica got a full, close-up view of the child murderer even through glass.
“We’ll go hang out in another party room,” the bird offered, checking with Gregory to make sure that was alright. Gregory nodded, giving Freddy and Leon a wave before Chica carted him off.
Freddy stared at the door for a moment after they left. The fact that Chica understood her limits was proof enough that she certainly was a trustworthy friend. Freddy was glad that Gregory had so many animatronics to care for him, but he appreciated Chica’s kindness even more than she probably realized.
Finally, he cast his gaze towards a back corner of the room. Were her chest not rising and falling, it might be easy to confuse Vanessa for a lifelike doll with how still she was otherwise. Her head hung down, staring at her lap. Whether she was trying to process nearly getting her face chomped by an alligator or simply lamenting the whole situation, Freddy didn’t know and didn’t care.
“Alright, come on,” Leon said, pulling her Vanessa up by the arm until she was on her feet. Still keeping a tight hold, he dragged over an extra chair with his free hand and placed it behind. “Sit.”
Vanessa sighed as she was hefted to her feet, taking a seat in the chair and leaning back. The entire situation honestly frightened her to the bone. She'd never seen the animatronics so... angry. At least, not in any context she could clearly remember. Flashes of gnashing teeth and sharp claws came through, but nothing concrete.
Leon had brought up a clip on his phone, pulling over his own chair to sit beside Vanessa and Freddy. With the bear standing behind her, Leon had his own personal security bot should she decide to try anything. Though honestly, at this point Leon was pretty convinced Vanessa was too exhausted and broken down to consider fighting back.
“So, this was a commercial William starred in for the opening of the very first pizzeria,” Leon explained, pointing at a man standing still on the screen. “I think his family makes a cameo in it, too.”
Freddy stared hard at the picture, honestly surprised that William looked so… normal. Thin-faced, short brown hair, a charismatic smile—he seemed like just a regular, unassuming guy at face value.
Although, as Freddy looked a bit closer he swore there was a strange gleam in the man’s eye—something evil lurking within his soul even back then, before his life fell to pieces.
“Can you play the commercial?” Freddy asked. “I would like to see William’s family, and I think his voice will trigger Vanessa’s memories more than his picture. Perhaps she can give us more insight as to what happened to her.” Freddy glanced at her briefly before looking back at the phone.
Leon nodded and pressed play. They were met with William Afton giving a tour of the original pizzeria, spouting cheesy lines most would find in an old fast food commercial in a very pronounced British accent. While his appearance only prompted a dull-eyed stare from Vanessa, a sharp gasp escaped her throat upon hearing his voice.
At one point, the commercial showed William’s family seated around a table in the restaurant, the kids chattering happily as their mom passed out pizza with a smile. William was at the head of the table, and on one side sat his eldest son next to his sister, who giggled as her brother told her a joke. Across the table from them was their mother, and—
“Gregory?!” Freddy gasped, eyes widening as he looked at a boy who was nearly a carbon-copy of the child he called his son, except for being a year or two younger. Freddy shook his head, murmuring quietly: “No, no… that is surely Evan Afton.” He glanced at Leon with a grimace. “Vanessa’s claims about why William wanted Gregory specifically have some merit, it seems.”
Vanessa blinked repeatedly, vision locked onto the tiny phone screen. A significant chunk of memories were returning to her in rapid-fire succession, and they were too disturbing to focus on for long.
Clearing his throat, Leon slowly looked up at Freddy with a grimace. “Yeah, that… that looks a lot like Gregory.”
“There is something we must be missing—some connection or relation between these two,” Freddy murmured slowly, shaking his head. As the commercial came to a close, he looked at Vanessa and noticed how strange she was acting. He bent down to be at her eye level, asking: “Vanessa, do you remember anything?!”
“A lot, actually...” she murmured, letting out a quiet sigh. “Just—bear with me, okay? It’s not easy to… to remember all this shit.”
She winced, as if to demonstrate. Freddy narrowed his eyes but remained silent, waiting for her to go on.
“William, uh… Originally, he wanted me to do the same thing to Gregory as I did to the others, but… But then he got a look at him, and told me to bring Gregory’s spirit to him instead of putting him in an endoskeleton. He… planned to take another life the next day to use in place of Gregory’s, b-but you two already stopped him before he could follow through.” Vanessa’s breathing was shaky, rife with emotion she was trying her damndest to contain. She could breakdown later when it was just her and the guards—showing weakness in front of a pissed-off robot bear was something she wasn’t willing to do.
Not after what happened the last time she allowed her vulnerability to be taken advantage of. So, she pressed on.
“I think he knew Gregory wasn't his son, although you can clearly see why he’d want to use him as a physical dupe.” Vanessa let out a bitter laugh. “He wanted a mind that wasn’t knowledgeable of the horrors he committed. Apparently all of William’s children despise him and want him to suffer.”
Freddy remained silent as she spoke, and for a long while after that.
So Gregory was never intended to be bonded to an endoskeleton… but his planned fate of being William Afton’s “replacement child” was arguably worse.
“Oh, Gregory…,” Freddy said quietly, wanting nothing more than to pull the boy into his arms and hold him as tightly as he could. Thank goodness Gregory found Freddy when he did. The animatronic’s eyes hardened as he muttered harshly: “It is no surprise his children hate him—wait.” He looked at Vanessa again, eyes wide. “You speak of his children in the present tense—are they still here, too? As… as spirits like Gregory?”
Freddy found this hard to believe—he was definitely missing some crucial pieces to this puzzle. But… he supposed anything was possible, especially when William Afton was involved.
Vanessa frowned, giving a half-hearted shrug.
“I… I don’t know. Maybe? I can’t—” She shook her head sharply, trying desperately to remember. “I know they’re not gone—they’re all dead, but never moved on. William was very adamant about that.”
“…I wonder if Gregory and I may have encountered them,” Freddy said, meeting Vanessa’s confused gaze. “That night we escaped William’s clutches, as we were climbing out of the basement something saved us. A mass of wires and parts that allowed us to escape—Gregory believes there are spirits trapped in there, and we also think that is the only reason William is still trapped down there right now.”
Freddy’s gaze shifted to Leon. “If they are also stuck within animatronics, then this is much bigger than we originally believed…”
Leon thought to himself, tapping his foot idly. “Well, whoever it is… do you think they're possibly under the same ritual as the endo kids?”
Vanessa gave another shake of her head, brow pinched in thought. “Again, not one hundred percent clear on all the details, but I do remember one thing William drilled into my brain: he told me he needed the energy from ten souls to free him from the confinements. He said only then would he have the strength to escape. But I… I also know this—”
She lifted her head, looking at Freddy and Leon seriously. “—those souls keeping him trapped cannot be freed under any circumstances. If they're let out of those animatronics, they'll also unintentionally release William regardless of whether he’s strong enough to do it on his own.” She winced, glancing to the floor. “I don't think they're all that nice either, but who would be after being trapped down there for god knows how long—though that could also just be his view on the matter.”
“This is horrible,” Freddy said quietly. “If out theory is correct, these may also be children at their cores. They do not deserve to be tasked with keeping their own murderer confined for all eternity…”
He sighed, hanging his head. “But Vanessa unfortunately has a point… until we can find an alternate solution for William’s confinement—or permanent eradication, if we are lucky—we must leave them be for now so we do not risk his escape.”
“...I don't know if messing with them at all would be a good idea,” Leon chimed in, rubbing at his arms as if to stave off a chill he’d gotten from merely speaking about ghosts. “Ugh, I just want to get rid of this bastard and be done with this.”
Vanessa cleared her throat, frowning softly. “If you have any other questions, I promise I’ll continue answering everything I know. He didn’t tell me much about the souls holding him back, but other memories might come through over time.”
“Thank you, Vanessa; you have been… surprisingly helpful,” Freddy said, finally standing to his full height. “For now, we should focus on helping the children we know we can save. Leon, can you please show her a picture of Lily and Ivy? We will look for their items first.”
Leon nodded and pulled up another tab with photos of all the missing children. He angled the phone towards Vanessa, and knowing the drill by now she lifted her head without prompting. There was a split-second of blankness before Vanessa immediately grimaced, realization making her gasp and turn away.
“Ugh... No—no,” she muttered, taking a few deep breaths. “There are, uh... t-two matching ribbons shoved in a hidden rock crevice in Roxy's Raceway.” She swallowed thickly. “One for each.”
“Noted; I will find them now,” Freddy said succinctly. He moved to the door, pausing to glance back at Leon with his hand on the doorknob. “Will you be alright on your own for a bit? I have a feeling Thomas needs a little more time to recover…”
“Yeah, I'll be okay now that you calmed down the firing squad. Don't know why he needs to recover when they were running at me,” Leon grumbled, though his annoyance wasn't anything new. “I'll walkie Thomas if I need any help.”
“Alright; I will be back soon,” Freddy said, giving a final nod before unlocking the door and stepping out into the hallway. He waited until he heard the locks click back into place before heading over to Chica and Gregory, a smile lighting up his face at the sight of them.
“Hello you two; I am sorry that took so long,” he apologized, holding out his arms for his son. “We learned a lot more information than originally intended, but I know where to find the twins’ items: Roxy Raceway.”
Gregory immediately squirmed in Chica's arms upon seeing Freddy holding his arms out. Chica gladly returned the boy to his father, watching Gregory comfortably curl up in Freddy's arms.
“Don't apologize, Fredbear; you know I don’t mind babysitting. So you learned some more stuff?” Chica asked curiously, beginning to make her way towards the direction of Roxy's Raceway.
“Quite a bit,” Freddy replied with a grimace. “Most of which I feel it best to tell everyone as a group. Ah, but first… Gregory, I must ask—” He looked down at his son, knowing this question was a long shot but feeling it wouldn’t hurt to try. “—are you sure you have never heard of Evan Afton before? Or possibly Michael or Elizabeth?”
Gregory met Freddy’s gaze, thinking to himself for a moment before lightly shaking his head. “Nope! Only that one time Leon told us about how a kid named Evan died on his birthday.” A frown pinched his brow. “Why?”
“I will tell you later,” Freddy responded with a sigh. He then fell silent as they walked, thinking over everything he’d learned. Even when they freed the kids from the endoskeletons, there was clearly a lot more to do. At some point, Freddy would definitely have to go down and see that blob again… although he certainly wasn’t taking Gregory this time.
Perhaps he could bring Chica and Bonnie instead—somehow the thought of the “original” trio doing such a task just felt right.
Soon enough they’d reached the raceway and Freddy began trailing a paw along the false rock-face wall, telling the others: “We are looking for two ribbons hidden in a crevice—one for Lily and one for Ivy.”
“We'll find them!” Gregory remarked confidently, watching Chica move towards an opposite wall to search. As Freddy kept him balanced on a hip, Gregory couldn't help but wonder more about the names he’d mentioned a few minutes prior.
“Who are they? Evan and Michael... and Elizabeth?” Gregory asked Freddy curiously, tilting his head. He vaguely remembered at least the first two having something to do with the Aftons.
Freddy hesitated before answering slowly. “They are William’s children. Leon was able to find an image of them and I noticed some… similarities between you and Evan.”
Best not to say they were essentially twins so he didn’t freak Gregory out—the revelation that Gregory had even vague similarities to an Afton might disturb him enough. He gave the boy a reassuring smile.
“Wait, wait—William my actual dad?!” Gregory asked, mortified and immediately jumping to conclusions with the little understanding he had.
“He is definitely not your father in any way whatsoever,” Freddy said, adamantly shaking his head. He held Gregory closer, as if he could protect the boy from such horrible thoughts.
“I don't think that’d be possible, Gregory—he’s been underground for a really long time!” Chica added, and that seemed to satisfy the kid’s growing horror at such a revelation.
“Good; he's scary.” Gregory breathed out a relieved sigh, knocking his forehead against Freddy’s shoulder.
Nearby, Chica had located a suspicious crack near the bottom of the wall, well-concealed behind a large boulder. She bent down and reached in, fingers soon brushing against something soft. Carefully dislodging the objects, Chica pulled out two ribbons and held them up to the neon lights. They were a bright red, with a speckling of darker spots that made her mechanical heart ache.
“Hey—I found them!” she called, holding up her prize and turning to the others.
“Excellent,” Freddy replied, gesturing for Chica to follow as he left the raceway. “Let us add the ribbons to the collection of items. If Monty and Roxy are still in their rooms like I requested, we can call Bonnie and I will fill you all in on what I know when we reach Rockstar Row. I will tell Sun and Moon another time.”
“Ooh, yes; I’ve got to know what you all found out,” Chica said, falling into step with the bear. She made sure to keep the ribbons pressed to her chest like the precious things they were.
Gregory hummed quietly, tilting his head at Freddy in question. “Does that mean I can listen, too?”
“Yes,” Freddy agreed with a nod. “It is not necessarily pleasant information, but it is important—and some of it pertains directly to you, Gregory.”
“Really?” He blinked, then propped his chin on Freddy’s shoulder with an intrigued frown. How in the world could he be more involved in this crazy fiasco?
As they exited Roxy's Raceway, Chica perked up with a little smile. “They listened, Freddy—Monty and Roxy are in her room. I just connected and told them we’re heading over now.”
“Excellent,” Freddy said, then blinked a few times before adding, “Bonnie will join us shortly as well. Here—” He held out a hand to Chica, palm-up. “—Gregory and I will drop off Lily and Ivy’s ribbons and then meet you all in Roxy’s room, alright?”
“Sure thing; see you in a minute.” Chica nodded, setting the ribbons in Freddy’s palm. With a wave, she headed towards Roxy's room.
“How many other items do we need to find?” Gregory asked, trying to keep his eyes off the bloodstains. The off-color rouge made him queasy.
“Three,” Freddy replied with a smile. “We are missing Katie’s, Mia’s, and Robin’s. I believe there are some other items we need to gather before we can fully perform the ritual, but these would be more easily-obtainable. The things we are searching for now are the crucial pieces.”
“We’re so close!” Gregory cheered, patting Freddy’s shoulder excitedly. “Can’t we just ask Vanessa for the last three now?”
“We will ask her soon,” Freddy reassured, giving Gregory a little squeeze. “She can only handle so much information at once. Still, I am hoping we find the rest by tomorrow night.”
With that he carried Gregory back to their room, letting the boy rest against him in comfortable silence. Once Freddy deposited the ribbons with the rest of the items, they headed to Roxy’s room where the group was waiting. Gregory had just settled into the couch when Bonnie showed up, looking a little frazzled.
“Hey, I heard there’s some news?!” the bunny asked, shutting the door behind him and looking at everyone.
“We do indeed,” Freddy confirmed, offering the group a smile. “We only have three items left to collect.”
Monty gasped loudly, throwing his hands in the air. “Only three?! That's amazin’!”
“…Unfortunately that is not the news I called you here to tell you about,” Freddy said, his grin slipping into a frown. “Vanessa gave us a lot more insight to the situation with William Afton than we expected, and I think it is important for you all to know what is going on—especially because he is not dead, but merely trapped down below.”
“What?!” Roxy and Bonnie exclaimed in unison. They shared a worried look before Bonnie added: “I mean we figured he wasn’t gone, but is he an actual threat again now?!”
Freddy shook his head. “No, not at the moment… although there is a possibility that he could be in the future.”
Gregory's eyes widened with surprise, sitting up straight. Hearing that did nothing to ease his nerves about this whole situation.
Chica’s brow twisted in worry. “That guy’s no good at all… What can we do to get rid of him?”
“I am sorry to say I cannot answer that question right now, Chica,” Freddy replied, shaking his head. “But I can tell you that he is securely trapped for the time being—Gregory and I unintentionally led him right to his current prison.” He paused, grimacing slightly. “Vanessa said that there are other spirits down there with him—spirits of other children he has done away with in the past, as well as… as his own children, possibly. Apparently all three of them despise William and may be working with the others to keep him captive.”
There was a beat of silence, before Roxy murmured: “…Damn, this guy’s getting worse and worse by the second!”
Chica nodded, lowering her gaze to the floor. On top of his murderous deeds, William’s own children were his prison wardens. She couldn’t help but feel sorry for all those poor little souls.
“Well, did Vanessa ever explain what he wanted?” Monty asked, scratching his jaw. “Did he want to rule the world or somethin’?! Wouldn't be surprised if he did...”
“Vanessa did not say his ultimate goal besides the fact that he wants to be ‘revived,’” Freddy said. “What he plans to do after that is still a mystery, although we do know one thing: it seems that he wants to replace his own children, in a sense. He…” Freddy paused, looking at Gregory’s innocent face and thanking the stars that the boy was here right now. “He was going to start with you, Gregory.
“You were never intended for an endoskeleton—at least, not after William saw you. You look so much like his youngest son, he wanted to keep you around until he got out so you could be part of his family. If we had not managed to lead him to the other spirits and break the virus’s connection, he would have had Vanny take another life in place of yours the next day… and then he would have been fully revived.”
“W-What?! No—” Gregory frantically shook his head, wide-eyed. “—that’s… He’s so scary! No thanks!”
“What a psycho!” Monty exclaimed, folding his arms over his chest. “At least Gregory’s with us now, so there’s no need to worry about William tryin’ to nab him!”
“Exactly!” Freddy said, a relieved smile on his face. “Gregory is safe and sound with all of us, and we stopped William before he could complete his plan.”
“Thank goodness,” Bonnie said, giving Gregory a soft smile.
Roxy grinned down at the boy, ruffling his hair before suddenly pulling him into a side hug. “Aww, come here, kid—I’m so glad you’re with us and not some weird ol’ dead guy!”
Gregory hugged onto Roxy, shutting his eyes tightly and trying to focus on the safety his robotic family provided. Even as Roxy ley go, he remained leaning against side. “So I really look like his son?!”
“You do indeed, superstar,” Freddy confirmed, then hummed in thought. “Hmm… it may be best for you all to see a picture of the Aftons, solely for awareness. Vanessa said that if they and the older spirits are released, it will set William free as well, so… if you ever see one of them wandering the Pizzaplex, it is cause for alarm.”
“Um… so are we planning to release them, then?” Roxy asked, tilting her head questioningly.
“We can’t leave them stuck forever, especially not with him,” Bonnie muttered, shaking his head.
“Of course we will free them, too!” Freddy reassured, though left a beat of silence afterwards. “…Eventually; we need to find a permanent solution for getting rid of William first. There is still too much we do not know right now.”
“I say you let me and Roxy beat him up!” Monty grinned, standing up straight and holding his claws up. “What's the worst that could happen?!”
“Uh—he controls you guys again?” Chica mentioned, appreciating her friends’ enthusiasm but on par with Freddy when it came to their rough and tumble plans.
Monty turned to stare at Chica for a moment before shaking his head. “Not gonna happen!”
“No, no, the solution for getting rid of William is not simply beating him up,” Freddy said, heaving a weary sigh.
“So who has these pictures?” Bonnie asked, his ears tilting down in question. “Thomas and Leon, I’m guessing?”
“Yes.” Freddy shot a stern glance at Monty and Roxy. “I have no idea where Thomas is right now, but Leon is currently with Vanessa. However, I shall assure she is nowhere nearby when we move.”
Roxy shifted her gaze to the floor, looking very apologetic, and Bonnie raised an eyebrow. “Why do I feel like I seriously missed out on something…?”
“Oh, because you did,” Chica chimed in. “Sun, Moon, Roxy, and Monty went absolutely insane when they spotted Leon carrying Vanessa in the Daycare!” She shook her head, hands on her hips. “But let's not talk about that again. More importantly, we need to start figuring out a way to contain William if he does potentially get out, just in case.”
“He better not show his ugly mug around here!” Gregory threatened, taking after Roxy’s attitude.
“Yeah, that’s the spirit, kid!” the wolf exclaimed, grinning with her chest puffed out proudly. She was always thrilled when kids started incorporating her attitude—it just proved she was the best, after all!
Freddy just gave another sigh. “I appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm, but let us focus on one thing at a time. Right now, we should meet up with Leon and have him show us some pictures.” He looked around the room sternly, paying special attention to Roxy and Monty. “I will go ahead to make sure Vanessa is nowhere in sight this time.”
Chica nodded, smiling softly. “Don't keep us waiting too long, Fredbear.”
“Yeah, me and Squirt will wait right here, bein’ the coolest guys around,” Monty announced, snatching the kid into his arms and eliciting a laugh.
“Hey!” Roxy said loudly, jumping to her feet and staring Monty down. “No fair! Wait your turn!”
“Do I ever get one?” Bonnie mumbled as the pair started to squabble, once again pulling Gregory back and forth between them. Freddy laughed and patted his shoulder.
“I wish you luck,” he said, then nodded to Chica before heading out. It was a short jog to party room the guard and his captive were still hunkered in, and the bear was soon knocking on the door. “Leon? It is Freddy; we found the ribbons, and now I have another request for you!”

08. Boring Busy
HI! I haven’t been making daily logs because, frankly, there is nothing happening. Hopefully that’ll change in the upcoming days!
I have a hangout with my friends planned for Saturday and I’m going to go see the musical “Six” with my grandma next Thursday! Very excited!!
I’ve been watching extreme budgeting videos, and now I’ve been wanting to create a spreadsheet so I can also budget!
I’m looking for jobs, and TRIED looking up freelance transcription jobs, not realizing that California said “no ma’am” with some legislation, so- nvm.
I’m also looking at working at a nearby store or maybe even Starbucks.
I’ve been thinking about starting an Etsy, just so I can sell my over-planned google docs and spreadsheets. They ain’t much, but they’re honest work lol.
Last thing- DID YOU GUYS SEE THE NEW FNAF TRAILER!???!?!??!?!? Dude- Why bring your kid/little sister to work when you’re a night guard?? That sounds so unsafe???? And where is William Afton???? We get golden freddy but not springtrap??? Anyways, my hypothesis for the ending bit, where golden freddy is holding the little girl’s hand- I think that Mike is going to get springlocked(?) and becomes golden freddy. Periodt.
OK IM GONNA GO MAKE MY SPREADSHEET!!!!! MUAH BYE!
