I am chewing on your art like a powered up Pac-man. You've made me very interested in trying out a Kamen rider show. What's a good starting point?
:D! thank you! I will never NOT be happy to get people to watch more Kamen Rider, soon everyone will be converted and my evil plan will be complete. >:)
one of the nice things about Kamen Rider is that most of the shows are standalone and (aside from things like crossover movies) don't require watching any of the others to understand. so you can kinda just pick one that sounds interesting and try it out! I have a few personal recs in this post, or you can check out the wikipedia list (under Main Series)!
after some thought, I'm also gonna like...soft-rec Fourze and Gaim, with the caveat that they are not at all the typical Rider tone (Fourze has a much more cheerful and sillier style than usual, and Gaim is a rollercoaster ride through a bizarro fruit-themed weirdoland) (this is not a negative). they're pretty divisive because of that, but I know they've been a few other people's entry points, and I liked them both personally, so! Fourze's head writer also wrote Gurren Lagann, and Gaim's wrote Madoka Magica, and their respective styles are extremely evident in both, so if you're familiar with those then take that as a plus or minus as you will. :')

I CRAVE a vaguely RomCom G/t story where the giant is a human model doing some shoot in a garden. A fairy sees them and is just immediately smitten. Like, little mermaid "i-dont-care-what-the-rules-say" I will absolutely wed that mf.
When they have a chance, they hide away in the models belongings, waiting until they're alone to make themselves known to the human- which takes a long time as they live quite far from the shoot location. Once alone the fairy confidently expresses their desire to court them.
The human?
Terrified.
What the hell was that thing??? Where did it come from? OH GOD- It SPOKE??
Maybe the human locks themselves in the bathroom, maybe the just fall back spooked out of their mind, but whatever they do it takes A LOT of coaxing from the fairy for them to calm down.
The human always imagined fairies to be stunning and ethereal beings not... insectoid.
The fairy is has 2 sets of arms, a partial exoskeleton, elytra, antennae, their feet look like a beetles, maybe they even have a spider-like mouth. In fairy culture, they are stunning, but to the model the are deeply unsettling.
Hell, they can't deal with regular insects. Now they're faced with something straight out of a horror movie.
Given the massive distance between their condo and the garden, they can't just send the fairy on their way or even easily take the fairy home, and are forced to awkwardly room together until the model has time to drop the fairy off.
The awkwardness of fear and unrequited love while living in close quarters???
Such comedic AND angst potential.
Two for one special

My extreme tiredness has been inspired by my own housecleaning chores to write some stuff with our sassy Daruma king.
Hyuga with a stubborn and very tired younger sister over chores.
First off, his sister could be the type of person who gets hangry, and it's worse if she's also tired.
Hyuga would be used to it...until she gives him an attitude that he isn't a fan of.
There is no such thing as disrespect in this family, and he will not tolerate it from her.
His sister planned on going to bed, early, one day, as soon as she got home. Those plans were ruined as soon as her big brother reminded her of her chores.
"Wha?! No! C'mon, Norihisa! I'm way too tired!"
"I don't care. You told me you would get it done, yesterday. Yet, here we are. You should've gone to bed, last night, like you were supposed to."
"Ah, shut up, Nori! I'll take care of it, tomorrow! I swear!"
"No. You'll take care of it, now. You can sleep, afterwards. And don't take that tone with me. You know the rules of this house."
"Dammit! I don't care! You're such a jerk! I'm not in the mood for doing stupid chores! I'm going to bed."
But she knew she made a mistake when he raised an eyebrow at her, looking clearly irritated. He was always scary when he was mad.
Before she could think about running, he was picking her up and slinging her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Hey!! Nori!! Put me down! Norihisa!!" She would hit his back, scream, and put up a fight while he carried her over to where she was supposed to be, knowing how much she hated being picked up. "Nori, put me down!!"
Whenever she was like this, he would roll his eyes and ignore the beatings on his back.
Once in the room where she was supposed to be, he would "throw" her down onto the floor.
"Ouch!! Really?!"
Hyuga would never lift a harmful finger on his little sister...but times like this, just looking threatening was enough to make her drop the attitude, real quick. He was always wordless about it, too. And even when he wasn't, he never raised his voice at her.
If she still kept it up, he would step toward her with an angry look...you did not want to get the Daruma leader angry.
"Whoa! Ok...ok!! I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Nori!! I'll do it, I'll do it!"
Hyuga would then toss her a cleaning cloth to her, keeping that irritated raised eyebrow look on his face.
"Don't ever talk to me like that, again. Ya hear? I'm your brother, not your enemy. I know you're tired, but the sooner you get this done, the sooner you can sleep."
Then comes the one thing he really hated while she lived under his roof: the puppy eyes, and the lip tremble. "Nori...." And the hurt in her voice.
The corner of his lip would twitch. He hated scaring her like that, regardless if she brought it upon herself or not.
His face softened, and he rolled his eyes.
"Don't do a half-assed job, please...."
And just because he enjoyed being her big jerk of a brother, he would snack on something while making sure she got her chores done, knowing well that her attitude was partially her being hungry.
"Jerk...."
"Yep!"

To be honest I cannot even describe why I like Pacific Rim this much
Maybe it's because it has fun vibes, and I occasionally enjoy the odd bit of wanton destruction in a all out brawl between man and giant alien beast
Maybe it's because the characters are really interesting and have some great potential for development
Maybe it's because of the score-- who am I kidding. A HUGE part of it is because of the score
But I honestly think the biggest part of it is that I have friends who love it. And it can be really really fun to watch or read something through a friend's eyes and end up loving it because you love them
