It’s so shocking to me how much I reference stuff from the Mcyt fandom.
The other day while I was crossing a road, I stopped midway (don’t worry I was safe) and looked both ways in the middle of the road before continuing, and shouted, “Now that is the Taurtis way to do it!” And my dad looked at me like I was truly delusional and I literally froze in shock because I realized he doesn’t even know anything about that series 😭
The worst part is that’s not the only thing. I’ve said ‘Goofing and Gaffing’ a lot, called people pesky birds, and brought up ALOT of things from the Life series/Hermitcraft.
I’ve decided to call it the ‘Mcyt Reference Curse’ since I do it so much :,)

I think the biggest disservice bg3 fans do to Wyll is by making him out to be the ‘normal’ guy. He’s easily the most unhinged person there. He’s like ‘look, Father! Would a catastrophic disappointment do THIS?’ And gets one of his limbs turned into a giant tentacle or smth to save a box of kittens. Exposed to Mizora and didn’t become a misogynist. I heard him say ‘huzzah’. I want to study him.

If ya’ll know Madoka Magica you will understand how beautiful and haunting the art of the witches that show up on screen are.
LIKE
It’s gorgeous.
That unsettling feeling of seeing something beyond yourself, beyond your sense of consciousness and knowing that this could very well be your grave.
It’s a labyrinth of feelings, of misery, of regret, and wanting that traps its victims in a forever.
You know what else is unsettling?
Death.
Death and ghosts and everything beyond it.
So imagine with me then, that the Infinite Realms and those ecto-born and ecto-contaminated don’t see the ghosts the same way.
Amity Park and its residents see the invading ghosts as close to their real form in life as they are in death.
Those not touched by the Infinite?
They see them the same way as witches. Unnatural creatures that unsettles the mind and environment to allow the ghosts access to the living world.
Maybe that’s why Maddie and Jack Fenton do not see ghosts as sentient things. They have seen them as humans see them, things filled with misery and pain, stealing from those too foolish to wander in the Ghosts domain.
The GIW are much the same, seeing the ghosts as the ‘witches’ they are, not what they were.
Danny doesn’t realize how unsettling he truly is, no one in Amity Park baring the Fenton parents and the GIW do.
Not until he is summoned on his first official Kingly summon, unaware of the looming gaping horror that stood staring back down at the humans that lived outside of Amity Park.

headcannon - Tyler totally kisses Kate’s scar.
Okay, so this is a few years down the line, they’re an established couple and marriage is this distant but not far thing, the important thing is they’re happy and content and okay and that’s a rare thing for people like them. Over the years everyone’s slowly healed, Kate got therapy, Javi got therapy, they actually talked and slowly dealt with everything. So, she eventually starts wearing shorts more and more often. The scar is still this big reminder of everything that happened, but she’s slowly learning to accept it. Then, Tyler starts doing this thing where when the two of them are together, (Kate’s watching the news or reading and his head is in her lap, just cuddling her because that man’s love language is gifts and touch) he presses a kiss to her scar. At first she doesn’t even notice because it’s a quick barely there thing, like it’s a subconscious movement almost.
And then Kate notices, and she notices it happens so damn often. Like Tyler’s barely aware and at the same time it’s almost worshiping, like it’s second hand nature to love the thing that for years she hated with a passion. And he just keeps don’t it, and brushing his fingers against the scar, and staring at it with this barely concealed awe and she doesn’t not get it.
So Kate finally snaps and asks him why? And she’s really asking, why do you love the worst part of me, because the scar to her represents her failure and how it lead to her friend’s deaths. Tyler just stares at her, because to him it is so simple and easy he stopped questioning it years ago, because it means you survived. And he’s really saying, because it means you’re here and alive and I got to love you, I got to be loved by you.
And he’s really saying, your survival is beautiful and I love you for it.
(Somebody steal my computer and phone, I have so many thoughts about these idiots.)
