Hi! You must’ve JUST posted while I was searching a tag! WELCOME to the crowd of other amateur writers who have no idea what we’re doing!

I have a request for a short fanfic/drabble! Wonka 2023 where fem!reader is a storyteller who worked in the laundry room when Willy arrives. Reader is closer with Noodle and usually tells her bedtime stories before going to sleep, and Willy comes to admire the vast imagination in the stories while falling in love, to Noodle’s joy. I haven’t had the motivation to write in a long time, so I hope you’d be up to trying to get the story out of my head!

Willy Wonka x Storyteller!Fem!Reader (Wonka 2023)

Warnings: None, I think. Sort of just a cute fluffy one.

Three years ago, you made the worst and most unforgivable mistake of your life: Taking a shower at Ms. Scrubbit's hotel.

To make a fairly short story shorter, you neglected to read the small print, leading to you being in a massive debt to her. So, for the next 5 years of your life, you'd be forced to work in a dirty, old laundry room.

You were absolutely miserable at first. Your days dragged by and your nights were mostly spent curled up in your bed crying. But, once you accepted your situation, you found a way to make the days go by faster: Making up stories in your head while you worked.

You'd always had quite the creative mind; so, weaving tales of magic and wonder was a fun way to spend your time.

Plus, Noodle always liked to hear your stories before she went to sleep.

But, recently you'd earned another fan of your stories.

Willy was the newest person who was unfortunate enough to end up down here. And lately he'd started sitting at the desk in Noodle's room every night, tinkering with new chocolate recipes or practicing his reading and writing skills, while you told Noodle a bedtime story.

But, according to noodle, he was actually in there just to listen to you. Supposedly, the moment you left, he'd turn to noodle and the two would discuss whatever story you'd told that night.

If that was true, you were honored.

One night, Noodle and Willy snuck out of the laundry room to do who knows what. And a couple hours later, Noodle returned without Willy. She told you all about the adventure they had which apparently included milking a giraffe, flamingos, and a run in with the police.

Her recount of the night was entertaining, and you were glad she's had fun. But, you couldn't help but feel a bit worried for Willy. "So, what's gonna happen to Willy?" You asked. "Is he getting arrested?"

Noodle shook her head. "He told me he'd talk his way out of it." She said as she got into bed. She tilted her head at you. "Do you like him?"

"What?" You flushed.

"Like, do you wanna be his girlfriend?"

"I-" You were about to say no, but that wasn't entirely true. You admired him. He had a brilliant mind, and he was unbelievably handsome. "Okay, how about I tell you a story?"

"So, you do wanna be his girlfriend."

"Story is beginning now."

Later in the night, you were in your own room, about to settle in for bed when someone knocked at your door.

You furrowed your brows in confusion, getting up to open the door for whoever it was.

"Hey." Willy greeted. "Sorry if I woke you up." His hair looked wet which was strange, but you were more concerned with why he was at your door.

"Don't worry, I wasn't asleep. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. I was just wondering if... Uh, did you tell Noodle a story while I was gone?"

You nodded. "I did."

He seemed a little disheartened, which made you feel bad. "I'm sure noodle can retell you the story tomorrow." You offered, trying to lighten his mood.

"She could. But, the way you... I mean... You have a wonderful, imaginative, beautiful mind. And the way you tell your stories, it's amazing! You could read me a grocery list, and I'd be on the edge of my seat." He gushed.

You couldn't help but blush. "You think all of that?"

"Yes! How could I not?" He gave you an affectionate smile.

You returned him smile. "I mean... I could tell the story to you right now, if you want."

Willy thought about it. "It's alright. I think I can go without a story for one night." He said reassuringly.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Thanks for the offer, though."

He began to step away from your door, saying a quick goodnight before he began walking toward his room.

"Wait, Willy." He stopped and turned to you.

You walked up to him and kissed his cheek. Willy blushed. "What was that for?"

You shrugged. "To make up for the story you missed out on?" You offered.

Willy smiled and gave you a quick peck on the lips.

"What was that for?" You asked this time.

"Just cause I like you." He replied as he leaned in to kiss you again.

Brozone (and friends (and enemies)) twitter drama au

Collaborative between me and @squirrelpatties. Truly our magnum opus

Jd: previously a frequent twitter e-clown infamous for name searching and starting beef with people who insulted him. His fanbase thought it was hilarious in a "grandpa escaped the hospital" way. Eventually was forced to relinquish control of @/brojohndoryofficial to his pr manager (clay) after he responded to 14 y/o @/j0ndryballzweat.

Floyd (part 1): his sex tape (with a fan he didnt know was a fan but thats hardly relevant) gets leaked. For the first three days everyone's timeline was full of "do NOT share it around, dont even look for it, if someone sends it to you IGNORE it, this is a disgusting breach of privacy" until Floyd addresses it by tweeting "decided to put on a different kind of show for you guys" and all hell breaks loose. Every tweets hidden replies are full of screencaps and reuploads for a month. People edit the video so just before anything explicit happens it's replaced by a video game cutscene or meme, which Floyd retweets a lot of. His brothers ask him to stop (both for publicity and bc it makes them uncomfortable) so he starts posting thirst traps on insta. Clay yells at him so Floyd tweets "clay just asked when I'm gonna get a girlfriend :/" which brings us to-

Clay: homophobia allegations. Admittedly the least serious and would have blown over quickly if it weren't for him panic tweeting "I'm not homophobic! My girlfriend is a bi lesbian!" People were NOT happy. It takes him three days of retweeting 'helpful educational threads and carrds' on lesbianism written by 14 y/os for people to get off his back. Viva understands.

Bruce: stays off social media bc its the mind killer so he lets clay take care of @/brobruceofficial. This goes well until clay gets drunk and thinks he's on his private account but is actually on Bruce's public. When he wakes up (hungover) in the morning hes got Bruce banging on his door asking why TMZ is reporting on him cheating on his wife. Bruce tells him to clear things up but clay JUST got the lesbians off his back and can't afford to be back in the hotseat...

Branch and poppy: branch was annoyed by all the branch/poppy rpf fanfic (poppy likes them bc she thinks they're cute and funny. When brozone go on tour she reads the smutty ones) so he suggested to poppy that they stage a fake breakup. Poppy is initially against the idea until branch brings up how much fun itd be to sneak around like a couple of teenagers. Poppy scrapbooks the tabloids about their breakup. Clay and Bruce blame clays drunken tweets on branch so clay seems like the victim. Poppy acknowledges this on twitter in a way that very heavily implies they broke up bc branch was cheating on her with her own sister. Viva does not understand. This one doesn't have a resolution yet bc we moved onto:

Barb: previous lesbian icon turned reactionary transphobe. Riff stopped associating with her once she started getting really public with it and now she keeps tweeting stuff like "you-know-who left me just to work with misogynists. Really makes you think 🤔 " which he ignores.

Riff: while still working with barb he was approached to collab with creek (damage control for the... unsavoury things he said about rock trolls). The second the song released he tweeted "wow that guy was an asshole LOL" bc he didn't realise he wasn't supposed to do that. Cut contact with barb once her transphobia went from "mild, I can fix her" to "jesus fucking christ". Briefly worked with Floyd until his second controversy at which point riff tweeted "cmon, man" and turned off his phone. Riff hasn't done anything wrong and he deserves a lot better

Velvet: crafted the perfect expose thread on Floyd when she was in prison, including "pro life" "publicly sharing inappropriate sexual content" and "uses the toothpaste flag". Posts it the second she gets let out of prison and instantly becomes #1 on trending (alongside "floyd" "pro life" and "#HUGS4CLAY).

Floyd (part 2): tweets "why does it even matter that I'm pro life if I'm gay and don't 'believe' in 'voting'" before doing another line off his boyfriends torso. People bring his leaked nudes back up and start insulting his dick size and its the first time hes ever let a controversy bother him. His next tweet is "I am not ashamed of my body" and the top reply (creek pfp) is "you should be ❤". Clay is biting the skin off his own tongue.

Lord piller yelled (Y/n) chased after the ring but knocked over a candle and accidentally set Lady piller's dress on fire causing everyone to panic"woman on fire! Help! Emergency!" "Stop fanning it, you fool!" Lady piller yelled "Get a bucket, get a bucket!" Lord piller yelled then julie dumped a cup of wine onto Lady piller's dress "Enough! This wedding cannot take place until They are properly prepared!" Pastor Kermit yelled as he approached (Y/n)

"Young One, learn your vows" He said as he pointed a finger at (Y/n) making them almost have an Anxiety attack causing them to run out of building "Well They're quite the catch, aren't They?" Julie said sarcastically(Y/n) was walking around the streets as they stopped when and leaned over a stone bridge "Oh, Howdy...He must think l'm such a fool" They mumbled

 "This day couldn't get any worse" (Y/n) said just then they heard the town crier "Hear ye, hear ye! Rehearsal in ruins as (L/n) Child causes chaos! Fishy fianc could be canned! Pillers all fired up as (L/n) disaster ruins rehearsal!" (Y/n) sighed "Hey cheer up!" Eddie exclaimed as he walked up to (Y/n) "lt really shouldn't be all that difficult! lt's just a few simple vows" They groaned

"Y'know it's not that bad" Eddie said "How so? Because I set his mother on fire!" "Well I had actually crashed into him while delivering some mail, I had apologized so many times and then we talked more and became friends" Eddie replied, the fond memory of their first meeting bringing a smile to his face"Your first meeting went better then mine at least" (Y/n) mumbled then sighed "Could I meet your husband? He sounds lovely" (Y/n) asked which made Eddie frown slightly

"I'm afraid you can't as that is rather impossible" he chuckled "How so?" (Y/n) asked "He died fifteen years ago" Eddie mumbled "Oh...Oh! Eddie I'm so sorry! I didn't know and-"he cut (Y/n) off "Please don't apologize! Like you said You didn't know" Eddie saidThen you both heard a loud ringing "Oh goodness! Look at the time! (Y/n) now alone at the bridge sighed and decided to venture out into the woods as well as trying to remember their vows

"With this hand, l will take your wine-...No Thats not right at all" They mumbled "With this hand l will cup your- Oh, goodness, no!" (Y/n) groaned "With this...With this...With this candle, l will-...l will...l will set your mother on fire" (Y/n) sighed as they sat on an old log next to a large oak tree with an old axe in it

"Oh, it's no use..." They mumbled "Perhaps I'm just not cut out for this...I never even wanted to be married to anyone! The only one I did love left me for some other women" (Y/n) said "I can't even remember his name..." they muttered as they stood up now going to attempt the vows once more

"With...this hand l will lift your sorrows Your cup will never empty, for l will be your wine!""With this candle, l will light your way in darkness. With this ring...l ask you to be mine!" (Y/n) exclaimed as they put the ring on a stick that looked like a hand

(Y/n) smiled in accomplishment proud that they remembered theit vows but then they noticed the thousands of crows watching her and the eerie silence "Yeah this isn't creepy at all..." (Y/n) mumbled as they looked around when suddenly a plush hand grabbed onto their hair "What the-?! OW!" They yelled

They pulled the plush hand off their hair and threw it onto the ground The silence scared them as they heard sounds if something breaking, (Y/n) looked towards the oak tree and saw the ground shaking and beginning to break open....

"Is James not gonna tag along with us today? " Your friend asked ,tilting their head and faced you, curiosity all over their face.

"No, he said he had some work to do " (Y/n) answered , their head facing the road in front of them. Your friend hummed in response and also faced the road ahead.

"Why are you asking?"

You quickly added, now turning you face to your right to face your friend.

"Just curious, he always tags along with you after school, it's kind off weird not having his presence today. " Your friend immediately spoke.

You hummed in response before facing ahead again. Your friend was right. It was weird to not have his presence here. You two would always to home together after school, cracking some jokes here and there, doing some dumb stuff. You were used to that everyday. It just feels awkward and lonely without him around.

Both of you looked at the 'construction ahead' sign in front of you. Today was not your luckiest day was it?

"Awww man... I was planning to go to the convenience store down the road.. " You sulked, one of your baby cousins were visiting you today and you wanted to buy some snacks for them and for yourself.

"Really? I know another route to get there want me to show it to you? " Your friend proposed upon hearing you.

"Really? Alright then, show me the way please"

"Okay then follow me! " Your friend said as they lead you toward the alleyway right beside the construction sign.

How convenient. The alleyway was dark and long. You don't think had you ever noticed an alleyway here. It was like those movies you had watched and your gut feeling churned when you entered the alleyway. You had a bad feeling about this.

Oh how lucky you were! The alleyway wasn't dangerous at all and both of you left it unscathed.

Curse you love for animals. You had seen a cat come towards you and rub itself against your legs. You swore you had told your friend to stop as you leaned down to pet the cat. Curse the fact that you didn't have any food on you to feed the cat. And curse your friend for not listening to you.

The next thing you know , when you straightened your back to what you expected to meet your friend's face, you were met with an empty road. You started to worry. Where had your friend gone off too? Didn't you tell them to stop ?? They're not the kind to just leave you in an empty, not familiar road. Did they not listen to you?

You swear you are smart, you should've returned towards the construction sign and then call your friend. But even you started to question your intelligence when you needed up searching for you friend and ended up in another alleyway

You ended up in another alleyway. You weren't alone this time. You now stood in front of a man slightly taller than you. Everything about him screamed danger. The fact that you two were alone in an alleyway, double danger.

You could feel the adrenaline kicking in you fight or flight response ran off and you had to escape as quickly as you could. His bigger muscular body means that any wrong move and you'd be a gonner. You started to get into position, calculating your plan, your jaw clenching, your eyes fixated on the man you had to keep your guard up.

"So you're the one who hangs out with James Lee... " The man mumbled. His eyes still fixed on you.

There was enough distance between the two of you. You lifted you right leg and with the strength you had kicked the side of the mans knees.

The man stumbled , he was caught completely off guarded. This was your chance. You turned around to sprint towards the construction sign. But a firm grip near you neck stopped you.

You almost choked. The man had his forearms around your neck.

[A low kick huh? Didn't think you could — AHHHH FUCK] the man immediately released his grip held his arm in pain.

You wiped off the blood running off your mouth and spit out the disgusting taste in your mouth. Again when you started to sprint, you were stopped by him.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH—"he turned you to face him and punched your left cheek making you stumble He then punched you in the stomach, making you choke out saliva. You could only wince in pain and struggled to get rid on his grasp. You were now in the air, both of the mans arms were on your throat.

You tried to release the chokehold he had, with both of your hands but failed to do so. You started to gasp for air when it started to get difficult to breathe. You were feeling weak.You were desperate to not die or get kidnapped . Your vision was starting to get blurry.

With all the last bit of strength you had, you used it all to kick his chin . The force made his head to tilt back and his grip on you loosened, making you fall.

You closed your eyes, preparing yourself to hit the floor. But the anticipation was disrupted by someone catching you from your fall. You opened your eyes to see their face. Your vision was a bit blurry from tears . You saw a familiar red hair. You slowly rose your hand to rub your eyes and looked at the man.

"... James..? " You spoke, your voice hoarse and you were trying to regulate your breathing.

It was one thing to go after him, but is another thing to go after the people he cares for. Especially his best friend.

He knew something was up when the crew, who were supposedly after him didn't show up at all. His suspicions were proved true when he got a call from your friend about your disappearance and you not picking up their calls. Luckily he was able to pin point where you were in time.

Who knew that the crew members were guarding the alleyway entrance and exit. That wasn't a problem for James though, he got rid of them with ease.

He was mad. He was approaching the crew head, when he was choking you and when you kicked him.

He quickly caught you from falling, having a quick glance at the head to make sure he was unconscious.

James slowly let you down on the ground his hand rested on your back to support you to sit straight while the other hand on the chin to examine the wounds.

Your left cheek was red and was a little swelled up. There was blood running down your face and there were hand prints imprinted in red on your neck.

He was mad. He was mad the the crew, the audacity to harm his friend and try to kidnap them. He was more mad at himself. How could he have not seen this coming? He could've, should've prevented this. Now they were hurt and and everyone knows their face.

"(Y/n) you're awake!! " You heard someone spoke when you blinked your eyes open. God, your head kind of hurts . Your immediately winced when you to sat up. Your stomach hurts like hell.

"Careful, you're gonna hurt yourself even more " You heard someone say. A familiar voice.

You turned your head to look at the speaker. It was James. He sat on the stool next to your bed, his eyes fixated on whatever he was reading.

"Thanks for the advice genius." You sarcastically said.

"Your welcome" You heard him say, making you scoff. You looked at your surroundings . You were in your room. Nice. Both of you remained silent .

"What had happened? " You mumbled, your whole body felt sore, there were bandaged on your cheek and stomach.

"..you don't remember?" James finally took his eyes off the book to face you.

You started to remember what happened upon hearing him. The memories started flood in. Your awful silence answered James and he looked towards the book again. Silence filled the room once again .

"So... How are you feeling now? " James inquired after a long pause.

"..Not much..,just sore throughout" You mumbled, your eyes fixated on your hands as they figeted the blanket's fabric .

"So you're the one who hangs out with James lee.. "

A realisation struck you, making your eyes widen a bit. . Why did the man know about James? And Judging by his looks and fighting style, he was probably a gangster. Why was he even looking for James in the first place.

".. James? " You said, your voice laced the suspicion you were starting to have.

James noticed the way your expression changed and hesitated to answer. "... Yes? "

"That man... Said something about your name... He didn't look like a normal citizen, but rather... A gangster.. "

While he admired that trait of yours to catch up on what was happening quickly and with the littlest hints, it wasn't the best time for it to show up.

He decided to test your gullibility.

"Really? That's —" He immediately kept his mouth shut when he saw your cold glare. Maybe it wasn't the best time to test that.

"James. What is going on. " (Y/n) sternly said, he knew that they won't keep shut untill they know the truth.

James knew this day might come. But he didn't expect it to be this soon.

Boy oh boy was it going to be a one hell of a story.

Same anon as before talking about writing stuff and worrying about if people will find it (but not the same anon as the other asks before that) - I think many people who are budding writers and artists have these concerns and bring them to you because you A). Are a creator yourself so you know what you're talking about in a verified sense and B). Idk about other anons but some of us (like me) take your reasoning (and critique) in regard to writing seriously because of your experience and how you analyze stuff such as LO.

I think at least some of us (again I can't speak for everyone nor can I or should I) wants to make sure they're not making mistakes such as the ones RS does in writing.

Also I might just take you up on your offer of Zelda fanfic - I do so love LoZ 😅.

okay but jokes aside, obviously people can't help who they look up to and I'm not gonna be a dick if y'all look up to my work and what I do here, just remember also that you're not obligated to agree with everything I say or take it to heart, you also shouldn't take my analysis of LO and how it's written/drawn personally because so much of that analysis is within the VERY specific definitions in which LO exists, definitions that don't really apply to many other webtoons on the platform. If there's anything I say or criticize LO for that speaks to you and your own work on a certain level, try not to take it as a direct personal attack towards you and more just like... if the things I'm saying about LO feel like they apply to your work, take it as advice for improving your own craft.

Or don't! You can literally ignore me and do what you were gonna do anyways. I literally cannot take that away from you and you absolutely shouldn't let me. Also, yeah, okay, I'm a webcomic creator myself, but to put myself on the cross for once - I've never succeeded at this gig. Rekindled is the most consistent audience I've had in years, I think the last time my work was in a banner rotation was in 2015 (and it wasn't on WT), and I somehow make something like $20/month off Patreon. I've had small victories along the way, it hasn't been all bad, but this isn't my living and chances are low I'll ever find mass success with it. Everything I said about not taking my opinion too seriously because I'm just a random Internet guy applies to people like Rachel as well, while I criticize her work on the basis of it being a commercial product that should know better and I DEFINITELY harp on her for a lot of shit, at the end of the day she's in no way obligated to pay even a second of attention to me because she's made way more money in webcomics in the last 2-3 years than I could ever dream of making in the 10 years I've been doing this, that's something I can't take away from her and that was never the goal when it came to discussing her work. All I have to show for my own efforts is experience and rhetoric, and a few odd readers who have been around so long I wonder why they even still follow me LOL I am your typical "can never live up to the success of those who they criticize" chronically online shitposter. I don't think I should have to be on Rachel's level to be able to discuss her work, mind you, that's half the function of an audience to begin with, but it's not like I have any real legitimacy in this industry that you should worry about what I have to say. It's not like I'm capable of robbing Rachel of her awards or the money she's made lol

It was round midnight when you suddenly woke up from a nightmare your lover was nowhere to be found beside you, you where sweating cold from the dream you had and all you wanted was your lover cuddling you until you fall asleep again.

You then got off the bed and search for your lover in the palace you saw him at his study still awake, you opened the door and you walked towards his desk while you fidget your hand, you looked like a bunny who needs a protection at the moment.

Capitano then raise his head and look at you he found it cute that you look like a prey that was pleasing for attention from him, he then got up from his sit and carry you in bride style he asked you.

"Love what's wrong?" He doesn't say much tho but just looking from your expression or the way you act he can tell that something is wrong, you then replied "I had a little... Nightmare" you then put your arm around his neck after that he sighed and then he bring you to the room where both of you shared.

He sat down on the bed while he place you on his lap you where tiny tho well for him since his like a titan lol, you rest your head on his chest he caressed your hair to make you feel relax and he said "Don't worry now, i am here i will wait for you to sleep" the way he touch and talk with gentleness just makes you feel safe.

You always get the special treatment anyway since his your lover, you eventually fell asleep and he turned of the light and both of you sleep peacefully while cuddling closer at each other.

Hey, I really hope this is your Tumblr because otherwise it'd be an awkward coincidence lol.

Just wanted to drop in and let you know that I read both Coronita Heights and You Only Live Twice and I can't put into words how brilliant it was. Lemme preface this by saying I know absolutely nothing about baseball and found myself googling terms, players and even searching for videos to get a visual of the movements described.

And I cried. Your writing was so vivid in my mind and especially in the sequel during the WBC I was up outta my seat and cheering as if I was actually in the stadium. I was tearing up when Jane was talking to those little girls, full on sobbing when the Giants made that montage for her during the final. I felt the passion from each Rizzoli sibling on-pitch moment.

I was looking a fucking Rizzles fanfic like I do every couple years because I miss the ship an unhealthy amount. Instead...I think I'm gonna get into baseball now? I'm mainly into football (soccer?), I rep Chelsea FC and one of our owners also own the Dodgers so I already knew about Ohtani after news of his insane contract dropped but with the interest on that side and now with you roping me into all the baseball nerd analogies, I'll try to learn the game. If your writing can bring out that kind of exhilaration in someone who's never cared for the sport, actually watching a game might give me a heart attack.

TLDR; I loved the series and it's gonna be hard coming to terms with finishing it, but I'm definitely giving it a few months before I reread. I feel like it'd be weird to thank you for your talent but I'm doing it anyway because you're literally insane. Much love, hope life is treating you well.

What ship were you completely obsessed with as a teenager, but now you don't care about anymore?

*squints* At first, I thought about Hetalia but even then, I don't think I had ships I was obsessed with. The closest I can think of is NaruHina. I used to be obsessed with it alongside SasuSaku, but the ship's just fallen off my radar over time.

2. What ship would you consider your first one?

SasuSaku. Hands down. Been obsessed since 4th grade. The hype mellowed over time as I grew up, but it's still a ship I actively search fanworks for.

Oh absolutely. Being a kid means you say and do stupid and mean stuff that will have consequences and force you to learn your lessons. I was no saint as a teen.

In the past, yes. But nowadays I have the "ship and let ship" and "stay in your own lane" mindset.

I'm not gonna say "dislike", but I certainly didn't understand why people shipped Neuvifuri romantically at the time until 4.2 Archon Quest came out. I understood the assignment, and I have hopped on board baby.

10. Do you have any ship that, in the past, would have been considered normal but now you would be cancelled over?

I honestly don't remember lol

11. What is your favorite crack ship?

Uh, me and Boris Airay. Duh.

Opposites Attract, BABY!!!

13. What do you absolutely hate in a ship?

Not the biggest fan of that trope where the love interests try to destroy/break each other in some way or another. (I guess that main ship for H*nnibal is the closest I can think of.) It's just not for me, but I'm not gonna try to yuck someone's yum.

3b) OHHHHHHHH UHM UHM UHM UHM the thing that got me into fanfic specifically was the fic “versability” (it was a gf fic about ‘what if ford never made the portal’, written like 2015-16, and yeah i did know of and even read a bit of fic beforehand but i was never into it) but just READING ? the land of stories by chris colfer, easy. mmmmmmmmm that was my fucking Thing. if i wasnt a baby at that time i would have WROTE. SO. MUCH. GOOD GOD. IT WAS MY THING. THE THING THAT GOT ME INTO NOVELS. URGH. alex my iconic mentally ill bisexual, conner my precious cynical boy. i need to read those again my GOD now i think about it that was fairytale fanfiction that happejed to bepublished and ohhhhh it was beautiful. im gonna read jt . iM GONNA DO IT!!!!

3c) in writing in general or just fanfic? for fanfic its that one day i had an gf fic idea (that i had to heavily revise/rewrite, but it did end up getting out eventually) that i hadnt read anything like it, and i wanted to see it. decided: hey, im shit at writing, but might as well!!!!!! 65k words later, its not a joke anymore. im a Writer now :) but as for in general, well ofc reading books. people told me in the past im creative and should get into book writing if you like reading so much. i decided well im gonna do it professionally, but might as well do something tiny, so i well uh wrote. im not gonna tell you but it certainly was Something. classic isekai mary sue dramatic plot hybrids etc etc etc but actually the queen the mc is “related” to is actually polyam and was in a relationship with both their dad and their mom and the big villain is the queen’s sister who’s pissed that both of her lovers ditched her for the human world (but actually they had to break up because because the society was not polyam friendly. there just happened to be a war after that). everything else was basic isekai except for that little crumble of lore. the queen was a bisexual. the dad was a pansexual. the mom was a lesbian. i think i ate there to be honest

3d) mmmmmm i gotta think. there was definitely a gf x amphibia au where ford got ploped in amphibia and the plantars IMMEDIATELY stole him and wrapped him up in their adventures right when the plot starting becoming a thing (early season 2). there’s one where stan and ford just….. climb a tree. it’s laced with a lot of philosophical talks straight from good omens knowledge but ultimately its just goody fun. mmmmm theres one where gabriel has no idea what crowley looks like, but he DOES know what Bildad The Shuite looks like, itd be tiny but so so so so funny. the gf/gomens crossover…..a human au based on that one tumblr post about a necromancer bringing people back from the dead to fuck with the killer and opening a discord support group….. the s1 humans + aziraphale being the victims, crowley the necromancer, and the s2 humans being the nosy outsiders who Notice things happens but can never say shit. oughhhh……… Yeah. yeah, thats good. most of these are recent except 4 the amphibia one, wouldnt change much about it even with the shit i know now EXCEPT being able to handle the relationships/emotions between the characters better, ive certainly gotten better at it and i love it. i havent published any bc either i started but couldnt finished, or just thought it was neat and moved on to plop it in the ideas folder and wait 4 inspiration.

I have so many thoughts on wolfram and yuuri as people and how they would work as a couple

Re: your original tags i 100% agree that yuuri would be the one to initiate their actual relationship with a kiss he didn't even put any thought into, body just acted. 

I've had this vague fanfic idea in my head for the past like... 10 years (i can't believe i first watched it so long ago) that after getting used to wolfram being his best friend and enjoying being around him in that way for a couple years yuuri would start to catch feelings without even realizing it. Then he'd kiss wolfram in some dramatic dangerous context (like your comic) and immediately fall through a puddle back to earth once the danger is over, without getting the chance to talk to wolfram about it. 

And then yuuri is just like, stuck on earth for a whole month or 2. Ruminating on the kiss, using 2007 style discussion boards to try to figure out his sexuality (😂 poor kid). Maybe watching some random movie (i genuinely don't have a specific one in mind) and realizing that the 2 male main characters have crazy chemisty, remembering something about shipping from that discussion board, searching male character A x male character B and reading some fanfic/seeing some fanart that makes him go "shit maybe i am into guys." Then he like... reads a real romance novel or something that his mom buys him (a teen book! I should clarify. His mom is quirky but not totally oblivous to what would be appropriate), because she's supportive and knows he'd never buy one on his own. And he talks to her a few times about this realization throughout this 2 months. 

Basically, i like the idea of yuuri being forced away from wolfram and all the normalized queerness of shin makoku and still coming to the conclusion that he likes wolfram and wants to be with him. And "hey, im not even gonna be living on earth much past the age of 18 anyway, so why should i care about any of these cultural norms anymore? And my family gets it, so honestly, fuck it."

And then he finally gets back to shin makoku and word vomits/lays this 2 months worth of soul searching at wolfram's feet.

And wolfram is just like, "well it's actually been 8 months or something for me. Glad you figured all that shit out, even though i still don't get what the big deal was, but i definitely panic spiralled into thinking you weren't coming back ever again because of that kiss. So honestly, i'm pretty happy right now. But ngl, you reciprocating my feelings is a little... off putting? No, maybe more like... completely unexpected. I'm in no way prepared for this."

And then their dynamic switches to wolfram being the one who's kind of uncomfortable with public displays of affection (he still likes it, but is noticeably shy/tense). And yuuri just trying his best to not spook wolfram and understand why he's like this now.

And it all just culminates in them having a talk in bed before the fall asleep a couple months after yuuri comes back where wolfram trys to explain how high up on a pedestel yuuri is in his mind and how, to him, it feels like them actually being together is just dragging yuuri down. And how yes, he loves yuuri romantically, but it's also so much more than that. He loves him as his  untouchable best friend who he was JUST getting used to always being out of romatic reach when yuuri got spirited away to earth for 8 months. He loves yuuri as his king. He loves him as an IDEAL. So being with him as his actual fiancé is going to be a slow process. It's a lot to recontextualize in wolfram's head.

But yuuri is fine with that because he's like 18ish/still a teenager at this point and wasn't ready to get married immediately anyway. 

Thanks for the invite to head canon dump on you. It feels good to share these vague ideas for a story i'll never write with another person who GETS the ship in the same way i do 💞

I'm also eager to hear any head canons/ideas you have about these 2. We're def on the same wavelength in terms of wanting to give the characters in kkm more context and agency outside of it being a silly little fantasy adventure thing (with a weirdly well fleshed out world, to be fair) 😂

REAL....... ur so real for everything here..... i think this is 100% how it would go. love the 2007 forums 😭 hes troubleshooting his homosexuality like its a game bug or smth thats so in-character i also agree w the wolf being startled by the reciprocation thing like he would 100% not be able to handle yuuri becoming "real" to him. like an actual option to date and stuff cuz my hc (bc i love suffering) is that he kind of likes or its convenient? that yuuri doesn't reciprocate cuz its so easy to be devoted when u dont have an actual relationship to talk abt and its one sided. it also gets more fanatical that way (aka yearning is stronger when it is left unfulfilled LOL) i also feel like he doesnt deserve it 2 some degree, not that hes not confident but that it's not his place. i feel like this is common in fanart/fic but where yuuri is like ok so can we kiss now and wolf is like ? kiss? we are a symbolic union between blah blah blah

my personal hcs/pure self indulgent bs under cut

ok first i feel like i have to clarify that i dont think that my hcs are canon i just like to have fun w kkm chars like dolls lmfaoooo..... but here are my self indulgent how-they-get-together-hcs ALSO its been like a solid two or three months since i last thought in depth abt kkm so i might be messing some details up

i kinda like the idea of wolf drifting apart from yuuri (from his constant rejection as well as duty and circumstance) and yuuri never reciprocates during this time (also never realizes) and eventually wolf goes off to bielefelt to do his duties and become the patriarch after everything settles. (i also like greta a lot so this is where she goes off to her own nation and wanders as a knight and alsooooo has a lesbianism with beatrice at around 20? years old..?) ANYWAYS they're in kind of awkward limbo and 2 yuuri wolf is someone he wishes he was closer to like when they were kids but isn't and he also avoids him from the guilt/shame of rejecting his feelings

at this pt yuuri has noticed in hindsight that he was in love w wolf but anyways something happens (like an attack) and wolf and yuuri are stuck living together again, wolf is once again risking his life for yuuri and his actions sort of betray that he's still just as in love w him as he was before they separated, he just decided that it would be better not to burden him with his feelings (at this pt he's self-aware that 16 year old wolf had a lot of baggage and codependency lumped in with love like the deifying stuff) and eventually yuuri reveals that he thinks he was in love with him too and wolf has to confront the fact that he wasn't looking for romance in the first place and also that yuuri is still too bright for him to touch (in his mind) so he's kinda like i do my job and u do urs for the good of this nation. BUT OFC they eventually get together after a lot of awkward divorcedness YAAAYYYYYYYY

OH ALSO unrelated to prev scenario but one thing i love ab ur hc and teen yuuram is the contrast between the world-ending desperation of wolf's love and the teenage first crush sweetness of yuuri's. I LOVE THE IDEA OF WOLF BEING LIKE. "i would die on the cross for you" (wiping the blood from his brow) and yuuri's just like "ok lets take this one step at a time" the part of the ship that's just yuuri getting to be an awkward gay teen and wolf eventually discovering awkward teen crushisms is sooo cute to me. like discovering that holding hands in a romantic context does not at all feel like what they did in the closet!! soo sweet and cute

1. How many works do you have on A03?

I have only the one on AO3, I just started my account there not too long ago

2. What's your total A03 word count?

My wordcount is 78,284! It's one of the longest fics I've written in a long while

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Nowadays it's pretty much TAZ all the way down, but there's some old stuff I have on this blog that's WTNV adjacent and a couple things for The Arcana mobile game (playing in the setting with OCs, as is a preference of mine in general). I haven't locked up the deep archives of Marvel and Ranger's Apprentice and fuckin' Leverage, but I'm not gonna help you find them either

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

The only one I have on AO3 is Virtue and Vice, but the most popular fic I can find on here is Firelight and Beach Nights 1 & 2

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I love to respond to comments when I get them! I find them very encouraging and I will talk your ear off (or type your eyes off? is that a good perversion of that phrase? lol) about my Thoughts if you let me

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't know that I really have any with angsty endings? Most of my angsty ones are the ones I wrote alongside my rp with @the-barista-district as tie on/lead ins to that storyline

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Virtue and Vice has an ending that I'm really proud of, I feel like I managed to go full-circle on their story and end with a lot of potential and hope for the future. It's a story that became about growing up and choosing your family and who you want to be, and I lived in it for a year.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have not and would cry (then delete the comment, bc fuck'em) if I did

9. Do you write smut?

I have written smut, yes. The stuff that's publicly posted is not my best (many years old now) and I won't link it, but it's all appropriately tagged #fanfic and #nsfw if you want to go searching (why?)

10. Do you write crossovers?

It has never occurred to me to do so. I'm generally more comfortable doing OC insert fic (with the exception of some TAZ stuff. Rping has helped me to figure out Kravitz so I'll write him sometimes) and I wouldn't know how to go about a crossover in that sort of niche

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not as far as I'm aware

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I haven't, but I've rped a bunch and I feel like that's similar in some aspects I guess. Just, yanno, not really a finished fic out of it

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Taakitz is the one I gravitate towards, though I can also be persuaded by a Taagnus and a Blupjeans

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I've got a Taakitz fic on the back burner where Krav is a ghost but there's a time-recursion aspect and he thinks he's the one being haunted for a bit. I'd like to finish that but my brain has decided I'm doing something else (it's a fun something else)(still debating if I'll post)

16. What are your writing strengths?

I enjoy the characters and relationships that I build. Some are stronger than others, but I feel like I can generally get to a point where they're believable, and different dynamics can shine through. I love to get bogged down in the "where's the difference between what they're willing to say/do, and what they're actually trying to communicate", "how do they feel and how do they think they feel"

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I have to agree with Noodyl here and say that tense is hard, POV is difficult (staying as close as I want the narration to feel is the part that gets me more than head-hopping). Getting into established characters is especially difficult (hense, OCs)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I think it can be cool and have considered many times adding Spanish to things, pero no hablo ni escribo mucho en español (heh)

19. First fandom you wrote for?

One of my earliest is from the Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan, hidden deep in the archives of redacted where I shall not link the general public

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

There's been a lot of stories I love and a lot I've lived in over the years, even from the before tumblr times. Especially from those times. I'm just going to say Virtue and Vice again bc it's recent and I love it and I'm not linking to anything from my teenage years bc yeeesh

Honestly, 'Light Matters and Hollow Graphics', because cringe is dead and I love making puns. I don't care what anyone says puns are funny okay!!! (context: this is primarily a Holosuite Fic but it's also about The Issues And Illusions That Guide Us or something lol)

What fic of yours would you say is the best introduction to you as a writer?

I'm gonna say 'Who We Are', which is funny because it's probably like the least self-projectey fic I've written? But it was also among the first, and it just has sooo many nebulouscoffeeisms going on lol:

identity crises (my jam)

ridiculous meandering metaphysical soul-searching (my jam)

too much worldbuilding (do people really need to know the names of the entire senior staff on Ezri's old ship? I say yes)

being an ensemble fic (I am not by nature a blorboist rip)

being mostly gen (this is going to sound hilarious but, up until I started writing star trek fanfiction I had never once attempted writing romance or couples before? All my work before this was literally like. thee most sexless sci-fantasy you ever read in your life lmaooo, and while I have been trying to use fanfic as a medium to get more comfortable writing romance, my fics still tend to be dominated by platonic relationships)

Do you have any writing advice you want to share?

(obviously using "you" as a general you here, not you you :D)

I mean it's always gonna be some variation of "kill the cringe". I know (and understand!) the desire to have all your works be of uniformly good quality and The Best Possible Versions Of Themselves, but that's just not possible. It's not! The more you write, the more you improve. The longer you pickle a show in your brain, the more nuanced your understanding of it becomes. The more you read, the more you take on new inspirations. And as time passes, both your writing style and your readings of the source material will change, and that's okay. That's okay. It's so much kinder to yourself to look at your works as a sort of- idk, diary? of your brain- a time capsule of what shows you were obsessed with, what characters and ships you were feral about at the time, what fics you were reading and feeling inspired by, what issues were weighing on your mind, what songs you'd been listening to, which people you'd been interacting with, what conversations you'd been having- like, those are precious memories right there! Your fics aren't entries into a competition or a gallery; they're a record, a little piece of who you were when you wrote them. It doesn't matter if your earlier fics aren't as "good" as your new ones, or if you'd do the same idea more justice now, or if your interests and/or characterisations have changed. You watched something, you were filled with the desire to create- and you did it, and you shared it, and you connected with other people through it- and that's just wonderful. And like- deeply human, right?

And honestly, the best way to stop cringing at your own work is to train yourself to stop cringing at other peoples' work. To be clear I don't mean works with language or characterisations rooted in bigoted/otherwise harmful lines of thought, I just mean badly written dialogues, or harmless mischaracterisations, etc. Stop cringing at them!! Not everyone writing fic is a Writer writer, and not every Writer writer is a good writer, and that's fine!! Seriously, actively helping create an environment where people enjoy sharing their work with you and don't feel extremely stressed and cringed at WILL LITERALLY HELP YOU NOT FEEL STRESSED AND CRINGED AT!!! On that note, I am now going to proceed to continue not updating any of my stuff for some more time, because I am a hypocrite and posting is stressful😁

Nickname: Just Viper :) I've been going by it for probably about 7 or 8 years now. You can call me Nic if you'd like, though. That's technically a nickname too (but is also just my name)

Sign: Aries ♈️ If you're into astrology, I'm apparently Aries sun, Pisces moon, and Libra rising. Whatever that means haha

Last Google Search: Alfajores! A friend sent me a video that had people eating them, so I asked my Chilean friend about them and also went searching for recipes. They look like tasty little cookies, and I wanna try them so badly.

Sleep: I don't typically get as much sleep as I should. I'm a big night owl, and no amount of conditioning changes that. I usually get around 5-6 hours a night because I can't sleep until 2 or 3 but need to get up at 8. (I have tried everything, including medication, trust me) In an ideal world, my sleep schedule would be, like, 6am-2pm lol

Dream Job: This is unchanged from last time. I hate the term "dream job" but I would ideally work in a specific healthcare field or in animal welfare.

Wearing: Comfy black athletic shorts, a blue tie-dye Spiritbox t-shirt, and an Underoath hoodie from the Voyeurist Tour last year :3 (I'm seeing them in a few days, too!)

Favorite Song: Oh, I can't ever just pick one. However, according to last.fm, my most played song of all time is "Slaughterhouse (feat. Bryan Garris) by Motionless in White" with 210 scrobbles. It came out 10 months ago... lmao

Favorite Instrument: I can't play any, but my favourite to listen to is drums. I love absolutely disgusting blast beats; gets me hyped up every time.

Aesthetic: Modern, neon, or pastel-based things. I know, those are all a bit contrasting. My previous answer was fairy kei, and that still stands. Pastel goth.

Favorite Authors: I also don't read books much anymore. My favourite authors are all of the gay ppl writing fanfic in my phone 😘

Favorite Colour: PINK! Pink pink pink pink! I tend to gravitate more towards softer blushes or baby pinks, but most pinks are good. Green used to be my favourite as a kid, and I'm still partial to it.

Favorite animal sound: Same as Kay - cats purring. Alice has a slightly squeaky purr, and it melts my heart every time. It never gets old.

Last song: I'm listening to "Call of the Wild" by Powerwolf right this second.

Last series: I don't really watch much TV. I keep up with AEW Dynamite and Rampage every week, but that's not exactly the same. I binged the first 6 seasons of Letterkenny recently.

Random: Is mashed potatoes and gravy a whole meal? Because that's what I ate for lunch at 3:30pm like a normal human.

🎖What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).

I just recently finished a ~20k three-shot, that was supposed to be a one-shot, in about 2 months. I haven't written legitimate fanfic in about 2 years, it felt good to do again, and it felt good to be possessed with an idea I wanted to see finished and actually see it through to the end.

It's a damn good short fic too, if my self-indulgent ass does say so myself.

😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

I have a tendency to be a gen-ficcer in a shipper world. That alone is a crime in a lot of fandoms lol.

Seriously though? Slow-burner to end all slow-burns, when I do write ships. You thought those two characters were finally going to kiss in chapter 15? No, sorry, they got interrupted and are now going to compartmentalize how it wasn't what they thought and it's gonna take another 4 chapters to address that, and then another 2 after that to get back there.

There's a reason I relegate myself to gen fic and character studies. It's for everyone else's own good.

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?

Generally no, if I'm writing fic it's in universe, and those universes are typically fantasy or sci-fi related so there's not a lot to look up besides a quick Google search of the name of something or a date or something like that. Quick and easy to look up. Before the aforementioned three-shot, I think the worst I did was look up episode transcripts for my ongoing Oscar character study.

This DGS three-shot though....I had a very, hyper-specific headcanon I wanted to execute. So for two months I was regularly consulting a Japanese translator, an article on the different forms of Japanese words for love, a Morse code chart, and a Wabun code chart. I was very normal about it.

🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave).

Hm...I'm gonna out myself here. I don't read a lot of fic, I haven't since high school. I just like to write it from time to time.

I'm going to out myself again here, and say the one set of fics I do keep coming back to is the series of dreams, those frigid things by user Griftings over on Ao3 (do they have a tumblr? Idk). It's three Critical Role/Vox Machina works, specifically Perc'ahlia, and I should clarify I am...absolutely not in that fandom in any way, shape, or form.

But I read it at least once a year and it is by and away still some of the best writing I've ever encountered.

Hey, it's weird for me to write this because I usually never send comments to the authors, but I need to say: I'M CRYING, literally in tears, it's not even a joke. I just read angel eyes, it's almost 3am, my period it's coming so I'm fucking emotional. THATS THE MOST AMAZING THING I EV3R READ, I AM SOBBING. I liked a few obi wan fics to read before sleep, and god, I didn't read the warnings (but that's my fault). I don't regret reading, quite the opposite. But now I gonna need to search for more fics because I need happiness otherwise I can't sleep. I don't know you, but your writing is amazing. I've never cried this hard reading a fanfic hahahahah and it's just 2k words, jesus. I don't replog things in this blog, but when I wake up I gonna log in to my other account, where I do replog this, and replog the fic. But right now I just need to sleep. Thank you for this bittersweet experience, I didn't know I still had feeling in me shsjsj have a good night/day!
