Hab grade über alte NaNo-Projekte drübergeschaut (aus... Gründen) und. Dieses eine ist eine reverse Romeo-und-Julia-Geschichte (i. e. zwei verfeindete Familien versöhnen sich und beschließen zur Besiegelung dieses Anlasses, ihre Kinder zu verheiraten; enemies-to-lovers shenanigans folgen) und

Angelicas und Orlandos Hochzeitstag war nicht der Tag, an dem sie sich zum ersten Mal begegneten. Das war insofern ein wenig überraschend, als zwar beide aus edlen Familien stammten, die aber bisher nicht näher miteinander verwandt gewesen waren. Allerdings war es insofern nicht überraschend, als die beiden Familien seit Jahrhunderten innig verfeindet waren. Die Jünglinge bekämpften sich auf den Straßen, die Jungfern zogen sich gegenseitig die Kämme aus dem Haar, wenn sie sich begegneten. Die alten Weiber fuhren die Ellenbogen aus, wenn es um die Reihenfolge beim Betreten der Kirche ging, und die alten Herren schnappten einander die besten Geschäfte und Geliebten weg, selbst wenn sie damit nichts anfangen konnten. Natürlich stimmte das nicht immer. Es gab auch Jünglinge, die die Ellenbogen vor der Kirche ausfuhren, alte Herren, die Kämme aus Jungfernhaar zogen, alte Weiber, die einander Geliebte wegschnappten und Jungfern, die sich schlugen. Auch von Jünglingen, die einander Geschäfte wegschnappten, alten Herren, die sich schlugen, alten Weibern, die Kämme aus Jungfernhaaren zogen sowie Jungfern, die die Ellenbogen ausfuhren, hatte man bereits gehört.

Australian travels to Cologne to watch a hole in a ceiling

A man from Australia traveled to the German city of Cologne to sightsee a hole in the ceiling of an underground station caused by an incident in 2017 that has become a worldwide meme.

During the carnival celebrations, Cologne turns into a state of exception with people walking around in the weirdest imaginable costumes. A man dressed up as Jesus Christ is nothing special, but if he carries a giant cross, he may turn some heads.

In 2017, a man dressed up as Jesus Christ became famous as he traveled up the escalator of the underground at Cologne Central / Cathedral station, crashing his giant cross into the ceiling. He managed to pull the cross free, but it had pierced a hole into the ceiling. The incident was filmed and uploaded to Youtube where it had gained at least 16 million views as of now (the original video has been deleted).

Meanwhile, the hilarious scene must have made it all the way to Australia. A man known on Reddit as towerbooks3192 was haunted so much by this meme that he said to his girlfriend that he wanted to do a pilgrimage to this very site, particularly after he heard rumors that the hole still exists. His girlfriend then surprised him with tickets for the journey. The man said on his Reddit post that it was the happiest day of his life.

Indeed, he is apparently not the only one to take a pilgrimage to the holy hole in the ceiling. Frequntly, people are seen taking pictures of the section of the ceiling that includes the hole. Maybe this is the reason why the city of Cologne (or the local public transport company) has not repaired the hole yet, although it must be said that the city has many more tourist attractions making it worth a journey and stay for several days.

I just find the choice of words (and by that I mean the word "kiddies" very weird for Damian).

A great cc find!

Some of you might know about the 2012/13 MTS thread about Zelda's Titanic. For the ones who don't, it was a huge project by Zelda101, that included various cool cc pieces but none better (and harder to replace) than BloomsBase's Ist class Grand Staircase dome, pictured here:

Sadly, the links on MTS are dead and BloomsBase has been inactive since the mid 2010s and his page too, so tracking this dome was almost impossible, until like 4 minutes ago!

I found a SimsFileShare file created by the one and only @murfeelee , who posted the link to download the dome back in a 2017 MTS thread!

It took me AGES to find it so I thought resharing the link woud be appreciated, specially amongst edwardian era enthusiasts like me!

Tatort Saarbrücken und das falsche Geld im Täschi

Erstmal vielen Dank für die wunderbare spatort timeline an @lu-inlondon , wodurch ich endlich diesen Post beenden konnte.

Sehr ihr dass? Das ist ein Screenshot aus Tatort: Der Fluch des Geldes von der Tasche mit 1,2 Millionen Euro von einem Bankraub. Und es ist absolut unmöglich, dass der Tascheninhalt korrekt ist.

Ich gebe euch einen Moment Zeit ob ihr den Fehler selbst findet.

(Tipp: der Bankraub hat circa im Jahr 2003 stattgefunden.)

Sie waren nicht einmal designt. Denn was wir hier haben sind die Serie 2 Euroscheine, deren Scheine verteilt zwischen 2013 und 2019 eingeführt wurden. Die 50€- und 100€-Noten die wir hier sehen wurden jeweils 2017 und 2019 eingeführt.

2003 haben diese Scheine noch nicht existiert.

Das heißt auch Roland Schürk kann die Scheine nicht ausgetauscht haben; als die eingeführt wurden lag er schon lange im Koma.

Der einzige der realistisch die Scheine ausgetauscht haben kann ist also... Adam. Den der gräbt das Geld ja 2021 aus. Zu einem Zeitpunkt wo die alten Scheine schon lange nicht mehr gedruckt werden und man die auch nicht mehr wirklich im Alltag sieht. Aber wo er die ganzen Scheine her hat und warum er das ausgetauscht haben soll ist mir ein Rätsel.

Nebenbei bemerkt macht die Tatsache das das Geld Serie 1 sein muss es auch deutlich schwieriger selbiges auszugeben. Wenn jemand mir heute ein Serie 1 Geldschein geben würde wäre ich überrascht. Wenn diese Person mir eine große Masse dieser Scheine (sagen wir, 100.000€ in einer Plastiktüte) präsentieren würde wäre ich äußerst misstrauisch.
