While there is nothing wrong with the word "said" in and of itself, variety is the key to exciting writing that keeps readers engaged.

INSPIRATION SYNONYM HOW TO
INSPIRATION SYNONYM MANUAL
Rice’s help in arranging this for me on somewhat short notice. We all agreed – all of us – that we will not accept a nuclear-armed North Korea.įrom Vancouver I made a quick swing down here to California. The United States and our allies are and continue to be united in continuing this campaign until North Korea takes meaningful steps toward denuclearization.
INSPIRATION SYNONYM HOW TO
I’ve just come from a ministerial meeting in Vancouver, in which a number of nations discussed how to better implement our maximum pressure campaign against North Korea. And George and I have known each other a long time as well, and I’m a great admirer of his work as well. So she’s been a great source of help and inspiration to me.Īnd I also want to acknowledge the other co-host, one of our nation’s most dedicated and gifted public servants, certainly of the 20th century: former Secretary George Shultz.
INSPIRATION SYNONYM MANUAL
When you arrive at the Secretary of State’s desk, I was looking for the how-to manual there wasn’t one there. And – but I appreciate Condi’s advice and counsel. Condoleezza Rice, who – I don’t know if she takes responsibility for this situation she got me into or not, but I – (laughter) – I hold her partially accountable anyway. I have familiarity with the Hoover Institution I’ve spoken at some of their events in the past in my prior life, and it has consistently produced great, principled scholarship that makes the calls for representative government, private enterprise, and protecting the American way of life right at the center of your activities, and very important topics that we spend our time on.Īnd in that regard, you certainly have a true advocate in your ranks: my friend, Dr. And I want to thank Stanford and the Hoover Institution and the international studies group for allowing me to speak to you this morning. And I really, really appreciate this opportunity to swing down to Stanford while I was out on the West Coast and particularly to address this group. If I could get tooth rottingly sincere here for a second.
The thing is I want TBB to have a happy ending more than I want air. And I know that all the predictions are more trauma, more death, more sadness, maybe everyone gets rogue oned and Omega grows up alone, and I'm not even saying that it's unlikely but god I do not want it. At all.
TBB has been about adapting to change, their changing lives and circumstances, their changing dynamics as a family, the change of having Omega in their lives, losing Cross, everything. But if it actually fully has a tragic ending, it will feel like all that change was for nothing. They were born in tragedy, lived a tragedy, died a tragedy. What's the point?
I am holding out a hope that this is just one long earn your happy ending that ends with them safe together as a family, whether they retire on Pabu or they are going to be doing missions for the clone rebellion, helping to rescue and ferry clones to Pabu as refugees, maybe. I think that the most meaningful thing that any clones can be allowed to do in this story is live. We've watched them be sacrificed by the hundreds for years, I just kind of want them to be allowed to fucking live. All of them, the batch and Omega. If they do a sequel series that follows the clone rebellion in a more general way, if someone dies for good there I can deal with it, but I want at least one story, one series, to show a little bit of change in the clones lives from start to finish.

One thing I love about Lan Wangji is that how the way he’s viewed by others changes with the progression of his arc.
When we meet him in the Cloud Recesses, he’s already well known in the cultivation world. He’s known for being one of the Twin Jades of Lan – for being a model disciple, for being perfectly skilled in everything you’d expect a young master to be proficient in, for perfectly encapsulating all the Lan Sect’s principles, including their immovable adherence to the rules. And that’s immensely impressive. But the thing is, he’s not really defined by himself – it’s not his own identity he’s carving out, but the identity of a perfect disciple of a clan. That’s even echoed in his title as one of the Lan’s Twin Jades. He’s known, first and foremost, for being a son of the Lan Clan’s Sect Leader.
But as he starts to develop, as he starts to grow, what he’s known for changes, and people begin to know him for who, not what, he is. He’s not famous, first and foremost, for being Lan Wangji, one of the Twin Jades – but for being Hanguang-Jun, the ‘light bearer’, the person who goes where the chaos is, and for a title and reputation he’s carved out of his own merits. Instead of being known for perfectly embodying rules and principles, he becomes known for being righteous*, fair, and for caring about the common people; for prioritising their safety over his own reputation in a way that no other important member of a clan did. And I think it’s important to note that although doing this doesn’t break any rules, it does stand in contrast to the actions of most cultivators (and is even look down upon by some people, like Jiang Cheng, though I’m not sure how much of that is due to their personal history). Instead of being famous for embodying the values of the cultivation world, he becomes known for what he does that sets him apart from it.
People begin to define him by his actions and by everything he does that shows who he is as a person; not as somebody defined by embodying the status and clan he was born into. His reputation given to him as a Twin Jade has been carved into a reputation he’s made for himself, as himself.
And I think that’s beautiful.

Sherlolly in WWII Paris, please & thank you!
He doesn't know where she is, or if she has managed to survive; all he knows is her handwriting, and the odd little tick she has to her 'V's and her 'Q's.
It is a wet afternoon in a small little alley just off the Passage de Panoramas, and a glimpse of fresh chalk makes him stop. Rain gathers in his tousled hair, droplets running down his back from the upturned collar of his coat; he reaches out with trembling fingers to trace the shape of the letter 'V', hastily scribbled and beginning to smudge from the water---but there is no mistaking that odd little tick.
Give me a pairing, an AU setting, and I'll write you a three-sentence fic!

I was thinking of my fic and thought it was pretty amusing how I asked myself the question of "If Pit was associated with an actual ancient Greek city, which one he would be from?", and without hesitation answered Tegea.
Like not Athens, Sparta, Knossos, Mycenae, Corinth, Thebes, Olympia or any place that people would actually think of if presented this question... Just this weird Arcadian city.

Bonus question for the responses- How do you personally define the terms, and do you feel strongly towards describing yourself with one or the other?

i wanna become a fic writer but i have no ideas 😭 tips on how to be more creative?
sure! 🙆‍♀️
hmmm the first thing i'd say is to find your own aesthetic. ofc that's easier said than done but eventually you’ll find your own style (theme/banners, etc.) ofc you don’t have to have a theme, especially when ur first starting out — you can always worry ab that later, but at least create some sort of detailed pinned post with important links attached to it !!!
on being creative, i’d say you’d wanna do things that makes your blog stand out. whether it’s a pretty color scheme, eye catching banners/gifs, things like that. ofc editing/formatting takes hours 🤸 whether you’re editing a fic or a theme
invest in editing programs 🧎‍♀️i use adobe n pr for some stuff but for free things some apps for free you can use would be: canva, ibis paint x, picsart, capcut, and more im sure !!!!
but yuh that’s mostly all i think <3 it takes time to find your own creative style, adapt to ur own aesthetic but you’ll get there in no time :P

hot take but even when i was in the trans cult at age of 10yo i still had enough critical thinking to not just jump on the bandwagon of "terfs go kill yourself"
even when i thought these people hated me i never once had the desire to write "terfs dni".
i never scrolled through radfem forums just to harass every single woman in the threads.
i never compiled or even had the knowledge that terf blocklists exists.
when i would see tims making compilations of 'radfems getting owned' i always found myself agreeing with the radfem and not understanding why everyone was making genuine threats to her.
you are just looking for an excuse to be anti feminism.
