Introduction for my Ninjago OC!

A/N: My favourite Ninjago character is Kai :)

Full name: Atlas Smith (Not legally a Smith. Not related to the siblings by blood.)

Birthday: 2nd November

Elemental power: The supernatural

He can sense the supernatural, and somewhat control them. Possess people for a very small period - 5 mins. Can phase through things.

Species: Human. However, he's half dead - let's not get into how that works.

Sex: Male

Gender (pronouns): He(/They)

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality: At the start, he was timid and quiet. However, over time - and learning habits from Kai - he became confident and loud. He is witty and always wearing his best clothes.

Extra information: He had gone to Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys. Lloyd and Atlas had been very close but Lloyd had left at some point to join the ninja. Both friends had reconnected after the ninja had fought their bizarro selves. Atlas is normally very expressive and easy to read from facial expressions but he has the talent of switching off his emotions and becoming emotionless.

Herumi had not just tricked Lloyd into loving her, but Atlas as well

Lloyd and Atlas have a little falling out

Kai was - and is - Atlas' mentor

Atlas' favourite food is curry and rice

Atlas loves sweets

Quirks/Habits: Hair: Messes with his hair a lot. Likes running his hand through his hair or just twirling a piece around his finger. Catlike: He likes snuggling up to people - only certain people: Zane, Cole, Kai, Lloyd and sometimes Nya and Jay. Likes having his head pat or rubbed. He makes a purring-like sound when happy.

Appearance:   Pale, Sage eyes, Black hair (white fringe in later seasons). Lean, Snake tattoo - wraps along his whole body, thin snake, can move. Like a real snake, just 2d on his skin. It slithes around and you can watch it move on his skin.

Oh boy it's been a while!

Hello! I haven't posted in a while and if anything this blog was just initially about making memes of the books I was studying in High School/College. Now that I'm fresh out of College and have more time, I want to go in a different direction, using this blog to actually talk about my own writing endeavors! I will still be making memes about certain books I read or the characters I'm writing. Honestly I think this post is more for me than anything else lol, I know this blog isn't very big but to the very few of you that still follow I thought an explanation behind the chaos that will surely ensue was warranted lol.

Hello, you may call me Ienzo. I figured this may be a productive and honestly- cathartic way to spend my free time. You may ask me just about anything- though information regarding confidential knowledge or experimental research may have to be left out. Forgive me but, the world order has to be protected. So... I found out L from death note knows capoeira....

I dont know how to make an introdution for this, I just love capoeira so so so much, bute here you go!)

ANALYSING L´S CAPOEIRA AND FIGURING OUT WHICH MOVES HE USED!

In the episode, the fight it self was really short, but L was able to give 2 kicks. And the secound one is a spin kick from a standing position.

The firts one

The first one he is in the ground at first, he kicks, then ends up standing before being pulled by the chain he was using.

At first I thought he used the chapa, this move is both a defensive and offensive move -- you kick your opponent and swing backwards to scape from another attacks in one go-- and because of the way he finished the kick, this initial guess.

But then I noticed the he started the kick from the ground... And the chapa is a movement that sarts from the base!!! (base is the "default" position of capoeira, the ginga, aka upright.) Then I tried to remember which kicks started from a (almost) sitting position: THE CHIBATA OF COURSE

Not only does it start from the ground, but it ends in a standing position just like L did. And (its difficult to see because of the video quality... sorry) the arms kinda math at some point, and I blame the difference from the two in the super-dramatic-anime-slow-motion.

CONCLUSION: CHIBATA

The second one

My friend who is not even a capoerist helped me figure this one out: The meia-lua-de-compasso and the rabo-de-arraia are two spin kicks (just like L did), and they only differ because the meia-lua-de-compasso uses hands, while the other doesn't

Because L had just one hand on the ground right before landing, I thought it was meant to be a rabo-de-arraia, but then he lost his balance, and placed one hand on the ground so he wouldn't fall. I said this to my friend and they replied: "L would not lose his balance 💔". With my interest peaked, I went searching, and lo-and-behold, there actually exists a variant of the meia-lua-de-compasso with only one hand!

(I also tested if it would be possible with the chains, and surprisingly, it would and it would be that much harder either)

CONCLUSION: MEIA-LUA-DE-COMPASSO

I love when people realize Akane nearly losing Aoi on his clock keepers contract made him grown more obcessed/worried about Aoi but is so funny when people try to say that the trauma is the ONLY reason he is obcessed with her/ like her.

These kids are insane, they have been obcessively coodependent since waaaaay before the manga started. Their very introdution is as the childhood friends troupe.

By the point they are old enough to go to junior high they already had the 'grading confession' game going, which heavily implies confessions happened that much. And Aoi's image problems have been around for a long while.

The reason Akane and Aoi started to drift away after his contract and she started to mask much more isn't because he got 'too obcessive'. It's because she knew he was hiding something. (which made her paranoid since her dad had cheated on her mom, so she hates 'liars')
