Not all non-disordered systems are non-traumagenic. Trauma-formed systems can and do exist without also having DID/OSDD/etc.

Not all non-traumagenic systems are non-disordered.

A systems ORIGINS, a system’s FUNCTIONING, a system’s DIAGNOSTIC STATUS, and a system’s SPIRITUAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL BELIEF can all be very different things. 

Ie, you can have 

a trauma-formed system that isn’t disordered and isn’t dxd with anything, who see themselves in a spiritual light

a non-traumagenic system that is disordered, is diagnosed with DID, who see themselves in a psychological light

and many other combinations!

Please stop using DID/OSDD/etc as a synonym for “trauma-formed”.

Please stop using traumagenic as a synonym for disordered.

Please stop using non-traumagenic as a synonym for non-disordered.

Please stop assuming all trauma-formed systems see themselves purely psychologically, and all non-traumagenic systems see themselves purely spiritually.

The plural community, on all sides, is so rich and diverse. Community support, and an individual system’s needs, are not always so easily divided into two very small boxes.

Good Omens Characters and Empathy

People are really out here saying Aziraphale has no empathy and is selfish, and man that hurts. Because I don't know about you, but I see Aziraphale as an incredibly empathetic character, painfully so.

Problem is, Heaven has taught him to be silent, and to be afraid. Aziraphale is a DEEPLY fearful character but can't show it. Don't show emotions. Don't stand out. Feelings are wrong and misguided. Do not question God. Stay in line. Aziraphale is steeped in the law and dogma of Heaven and was only just starting to come out of it, and they drag him back in.

Incredibly relatable to me as a traumatized hyper-empathetic autistic person. Just look at how he stands a lot of the time, hands clasped together, very stiff. "Quiet hands" as it were, unless he's feeling safe with Crowley.

Long story short, stop looking for a villain (besides that fucker The Metatron) and remember everyone shows empathy in different ways, and not everyone has the same way of interacting with their trauma.

Excerpt: Jiang Cheng looks at his waif of a child and he can’t help but see all the pain he’ll come to cause in the future. He can prevent it all right here, right now. Zidian sparks on his wrist, begins to flicker to life. Little Wei Wuxian looks up and around suddenly at the noise of it, his eyes zeroing in almost instantly on the purple lightning at his side. “Whoa!!” he cries with delight, his entire face lighting up with delight. “That’s so cool, sir!! How do you do that?!” Zidian sputters and then flickers out again, responding to the horror in his chest that replaces the fury. He’s just a child. A child. He’s his brother. Jiang Cheng holds onto the last vestiges of his fury for another long moment or two as he watches Wei Wuxian return to gnawing on his food with his back teeth as he looks up at him with wide, guileless, quicksilver eyes. And then with a breath he shoves 13 years of blinding hatred away from his chest.

i think it wouldn't explain all of it, islamophobia in europe and america goes way back, people today may be putting forward the reasons you mentioned but there are deep-rooted economic, political and social reasons behind it
