Hello!!! I'm shouting out to all kpop fans attending KCON NY this week from the Westchester (Specifically White Plains) area, or really anyone who will be passing through Grand Central Station! I am looking for someone else who needs a travel buddy at least for Friday and is willing to meet up at Grand Central Station sometime around 9-10 in the morning. Yes I know that we would technically be missing the first few panels but it may be worth it to have someone to at least navigate there with. And I'm willing to travel back to Penn Station together as soon as the concert ends. ***You must be willing to split a cab/Uber with me to Penn Station from Grand Central and from Penn Station to Prudential. You do not necessarily need to have experience with commuting through Penn Station, and it would be best if you would contact me if you are interested by Thursday evening just so we have enough time to make a game plan. If any of you are also looking for a travel buddy or know someone who is this Friday (and possibly Saturday) to KCON NY please pass this message on!!! [ARTICLE] As Monsta X's Top 40 Radio Presence Grows, Member I.M Deserves A Lot Of Credit

On Billboard's Pop Songs airplay chart this week, Monsta X's "Who Do U Love?" climbs to a new peak of No. 35 further upping the boy band's single as a potential radio hit. Compared to some of their K-pop counterparts, Monsta X has shown a large consideration for the radio world and this newly found broadcast breakthrough points in large part to the efforts of one of its members in particular.

Early in their American activities, Monsta X struck partnerships with radio by getting close with media giant iHeartMedia as the first Korean group to play some of iHeartRadio's annual tentpole events like the seasonal Jingle Ball (playing six cities around the country alongside top names in pop, dance and hip-hop) as well as the iHeartRadio Music Festival (hitting Las Vegas next month). K-pop artists have found a place in Western media industry with ready-to-go-viral videos and a mix of fun and in-depth interviews, but radio presents a more difficult challenge.

If a group doesn't have members who are fluent in the native language, it puts a bit of a strain on how much a group can interact on an audio-only platform. While all seven Monsta X members have shown considerable growth in their English-language skills since the band's 2015 debut, bilingual member I.M has largely become the de-facto spokesperson for the group stateside. From cozy couch chats on The Zach Sang Show to an awkward run-in with Access Hollywood, the 23-year-old rapper led the group through a majority of early interviews and helped the band establish their presence stateside.

That hard work has not gone unnoticed. As Erik Bradley, music director at one of Chicago's biggest pop stations WBBM-FM (B96), told me earlier this month, "Although 'Who Do U Love?' is still developing we're happy to give it a shot because of all the ground work the artist and their team have put in thus far to get it to this point."

Before they landed a deal with Epic Records or teaming up with stars like Steve Aoki and French Montana, I.M's ground work in helping connect Monsta X to U.S. audiences and media was key in their continuing crossover.

From the beginning, Monsta X showed that America was going to be a point of interest for the band, making their first U.S. appearance at the 2015 KCON Los Angeles festival less than three months after their debut on the K-pop scene. In that interview too, I noted I.M's serious concentration to be able to properly express himself and his band mates. Without I.M's savvy and smart guidance initially leading the band, it's extremely possible they wouldn't have had broken the traditional barriers of radio and festivals that they currently have today. Never mind the fact that as the youngest member of the band, his spot in acting as translator/spokesperson becomes all the more difficult of a relationship to navigate among his six seniors.

Today, the seven men of Monsta X appear more than comfortable handling themselves in American interviews (a recent sitdown with Houston's 92.1 only saw I.M step in a few times to help translate) but those early moments in helping prove that Monsta X could be superstars on this side of the world were crucial in creating where they are today.

Keep your eye on I.M: This is a smart, multifaceted musician who has a skill not only in putting on great performances, but in helping connect and bridge people which only the best kinds of artists are able to do.

First Time Meeting Bang Chan

how did you first meet Chan?

- You’re in New York City for a few days, having bought tickets to KCON NY

- On the day of the Stray Kids show, you decide to walk around the city and sightsee for a bit

- Unfortunately, you find yourself taking increasingly complicated detours and your surroundings are beginning to look very unfamiliar

- Before you know it, you’re hopelessly lost, you’ve spent all your money on street food and the wrong bus tickets, and your phone’s finally died

- You look around and try to spot someone to ask for directions or help, but everyone seems to have a place to go; they’re walking quickly and pay you no attention

- You grow more and more panicked, and the busy streets do nothing to calm your anxiety

- Among the sea of bustling people, however, you spot a man who’s standing as still as you, a selfie stick with a GoPro tucked under a pale arm

- A black mask covers half of his face and a baseball cap casts a shadow over his eyes, which are narrowed and staring intently at his phone

- You make your way over to him, this is your chance to ask for directions--

“Hey, um...I’m sort of super lost--” you stammer, stress making your voice shaky. “Do you know how to get to this street?”

- He looks slightly shell-shocked but replies after a nervous laugh --

“Actually, I’m just as lost as you are.”

- Hearing the lilt of an Australian accent in his voice explains the rest -- of course, he’s a tourist just like you

- Meanwhile Chan is still kind of nervous; he thought you’d recognized him and is scared to cause a scene, but you’re too busy stressing over how you’re going to get back to your Airbnb--

- He, Felix, and Hyunjin were in the middle of filming a street video for their new side track before they got separated in the crowd, and decided to just relocate back at their hotel

- Chan is usually cautious and withdrawn when meeting strangers, but seeing how distressed you were made him soften up

- Plus, you look cute when you’re stressed

- You’re tired and thirsty from walking around under the hot summer sun in the tangle of New York City streets, and Chan can tell

- So he ends up buying the two of you drinks from the nearest Starbucks and you two sit down

- He introduces himself as Chris

- The small talk graduates into deeper conversation and you find yourself genuinely enjoying his company

“So what brings you to New York?” He asks, smiling.

“I’m in town to see this K-Pop group, Stray Kids. You know them? Their music is so good.”

-The expression on his face is oddly unfathomable when he replies, “Really? Never heard of ‘em.”

- Although there’s something about the curves of his smile and his voice that seems irritatingly familiar, but you shake it off

- He offers you his portable charger to charge your phone and you two navigate through the streets of New York together, stopping at miscellaneous tourist attractions to fool around until you finally reach the street where you’re staying

- He gives you his phone number “in case you get lost again”

“I’m literally on the street, Chris, but thanks”

- Opening the door to the Airbnb, you still can’t shake the feeling that you’ve seen him somewhere, but no matter--you’re exhausted and still need to get ready to see Stray Kids in a few hours! 

- Surprise surprise when you get to the Hi-Touch event, you see him 

- And literally freeze because like

holly shit how blind--and sunburnt--must I have been to not recognize Bang fucking Chan--

- He catches your eye and flashes you the cutest, knowing eye smile ever and you want to end it all right then and there

- Holds onto your hand for an extra long time

- During the show, he spots you in the crowd and graduates towards your side of the stage, making eye contact with you when he sings just to tease you

- After the show you go home, plop onto your bed, and sigh sadly as you stare at the phone number he gave you and realize it must be been fake -- after all, why in the world would Bang Chan give a random stranger his number?

- But right when you get out your phone and were about to delete it, you get a notification

Universe Challenge Day 10: Pentaversary

Dear Pentagon,

I probably should have made a graphic or something but instead I'm doing a sappy letter a day late. Most of my followers kind of know my pentagon story but if I ever meet you guys (again) I want you to know how much you've made an impact on my life. I first found out about PTG because of 365 So Fresh. Everyone was saying the MV was "so controversial". 365 So Fresh was amazing and I found out about Hui and Edawn whom I fell in love with instantly. When I googled Triple H (which as you can imagine is weird for a WWE fan like myself) I found that Hui and Dawnie were part of PTG. Not long after I found Shine and I can't remember how exactly but I think it might have been randomly recommended in YouTube. When I watched it I thought the song was absolutely amazing and it instantly became one of my fave songs. I was watching it over and over and showing my friends, and just screaming my head off because I loved it so much. 2018 was the year I got to go to my first KCON in New York and you guys were preforming there. That year had one of the best line ups but I swear at least once or twice an hour they were playing Shine, which made me happy. The people I went with weren't the greatest but hearing Shine all the time made me have fun. I even went to a dance workshop to try and learn the chorus dance. Then the concert came and I had never been so excited to hear a song be played live so much in my life. It was the first song you guys did and I have so many videos of me screaming while singing. After KCON I spent the next few days learning who everyone was, watching Pentagon Maker, and binge watching all of the MV's. I quickly grew to love all ten of you so much and you guys were becoming one of my fave groups quickly.

I didn't get to enjoy tentagon that much though as that August after, Edawn was kicked out. Edawn was my bias and I loved him a lot. Like so so so much (I still do btw). He was always so weird and screechy but also was affectionate and cute towards the other members. Everyone compared him to GD but I felt like Dawnie was just...Dawnie. He wasn't anyone else but himself. And hes great at what he does, be it rapping, producing, or dancing. I remember when the rumors were floating around, I just had hope that nothing would go wrong. When it was finalized and I found out that Dawnie had been kicked out I cried. I remember the day exactly. I had to get up early for a dentist appointment. My friend had sent me the article on Facebook and the tears were instant. I cried for so long and my entire heart hurt. I even called my mom to tell her how upset I was and though she didn't understand completely, she knows how important kpop is to me so she tried to comfort me as best as she could. Tentagon will always remind me of the happy times I had at KCON, about the new friends I made on Tumblr, and about helping me reignite my passion for writing and improving myself.

Thumbs up was a hard comeback for me. I didn't like anything about it at all; the styling, the theme, Paul jack, nothing. Though I'm still proud of you guys for barreling through such difficult times to put out a comeback it just made me sad. I know Dawnie wanted you guys to continue being successful but it hurt to see tentagon disbanded (but not forgotten). I always thought about Dawnie and Hui because they were so close. I would always picture Hui crying over Dawnie having to leave, move out, and maybe feeling guilty because I'm certain he knew they were dating. But Hui is a great friend and I know that he's happy for them and Dawnie is happy for all his brothers as well.

It used to hurt hearing 'Tentastic' but now it's a sweet reminder that tentagon will be forever.

Fast forward a bit and you guys announced your first world tour! I knew instantly that I wanted to go and see you perform again! I got VIP and hi touch because I couldn't live without seeing you guys up close (ok, Im being dramatic but you get the picture). I was so excited that I literally almost threw up 4 times. I didn't even know that you could throw up from excitement. I also got my very first lightstick. I don't normally like lightsticks but I felt like I definitely needed a pentagon one. The concert was so amazing and I cried so many times; seeing yuto smile, dying because the havana performance was so sexy, uptown funk being so fun, shinwon and hui's English getting better, Yeo one waving at me, and of course seeing my bias Hognseok being perfectly beautiful. It was easily in one of my top 5 favorite concerts. I was nervous to do hi touch, especially because it went by so fast. I will forever remember looking at Kino and telling him how beautiful he was (is). And him telling me thank you was like...I don't know. I fangirled a lot ok? Lol. And hongseoks smile was....😭😭😭

After that I think I finally admitted that PTG is my ult group. Through everything that we've gone through as universes and you guys as a group, we've come out stronger than ever.

I love Hui for always crying and trying your best and being such a sweet leader

I love yuto for how shy you are but so very affectionate around your brothers and how you tried very hard to be an idol so far from home. (And also that voice♥️)

I love wooseok for always screeching and being that one weird brother I never had

I love kino for your creativity and dance (and being ridiculously good looking) and giving me the best memory from the Pentagon cocnert.

I love jinho for being so sassy and as angry and short as I am. I thank you for all the hard work you put into Magazine Ho's and how beautiful they always sound.

I love yanan for trying your best and having such a sweet voice. Youre still confused on how to navigate through Korea but you have great friends to help you. Also king of shade.

I love shinwon for literally NEVER failing to make me laugh. I love you like I love mcnuggets (which is a lot).

I love Yeo one for always being so sweet and bubbly and having the cutest laugh. Your birthday celebration vlive will always be my favorite because everyone was having so much fun and being so goofy and it was all for you.

I love hongseok because you always brighten up my day. youre so gorgeous in more ways than one. Your a giant marvel nerd and it's so cute how much you love Ironman, I love that you like reading and have lots of passion. You're also a giant dork with a heart of gold.

And I love dawnie and will always love dawnie. I love how weird you are, that :] face you always make, how you were never afraid of skinship, how you always held hands, kissed, and hugged everyone, how positive you always seemed to be and how freaking talented you are at everything. (Please propose to hyuna already my god we've been waiting for like a year now).

Happy three years Pentagon! I can't wait for many more to come. And happy (over) 1 year of being a universe to me!

KCON LA 2017 : Day 1 Recap (Saturday)

Alright so this is the first time I’ve attended KCon outside of NY and boy, they were hella right, LA has it better. It’s bigger, there’s more fan opportunities and its indoors where there’s a thing called AC in existence. Anyways I started off the day going to the convention area to register only to find out that the tickets I bought from stub hub weren’t validated yet so me and my room mate had to go and wait on line for the box office which was another pain in the ass. And once we were finally able to redeem our ticket stuff, we got our guarantee audience pass which was SF9. I mean I already saw them in NY but I took what I could get. The SF9 audience pass thing was a lot more crowded than NY but also brighter. But seeing them up close was impossible, had to rely on screens to get a glimpse of them even. They did the usual Q & A session along with a game corner. I still don’t think audience passes are that worth it to be honest. Anyways, we exited out and proceeded to see if we could snag some stuff for wanna one for their signing the line looked like hell so that became a no. And so we entered the convention space and man I was shook. There was so much stuff, EVERYWHERE. Trying to navigate the whole place was like a freakin maze. But as a proper kconer, I had to fulfill my duties of getting as many free samples as possible so that’s what I went for. Don’t really remember where I was going but I went places to snag stuff when possible. ANYWAYS, when Vixx entered the Toyota area I was able to see them from their back and omg Ken waved in my direction and he’s beautiful, they’re all so beautiful. THEN Girl’s Day comes to the Sep booth. I had to figure out my raffle situation so didn’t get to see them BUT I made up for that when WJSN appeared and I caught videos of them entering and exiting. AND, Exy waved at me, bless her - I was acknowledged. Loitered around some more before catching a glimpse of Oh My Girls. They’re cute. Anyways, soon concert time is about to happen and I didn’t have tickets you know. But somehow we managed to snag some really cheap ones and made our way into P1 (glorious really.) The concert WAS LIT. Preshow was chill with Jun Curry Ahn and the beatboxer from Tortanto. Started off with Leo (Vixx) and Minah (Girl’s day) performing Lala Land and they’re beautiful like??? And then comes SF9 serving their songs with their super smooth moves. Some introduction talk. WJSN did 3 songs after and LORDY, they’re amazing. I wasn’t huge on them but I MADE EYE CONTACT Yeonjung MULTIPLE times. On top of the Xuanyi waved too. They’ve slaughtered me with their fan service. Seventeen came up with their special unit performance stage. And then Girl’s Day did their three songs which I loved, I’ll be yours, something and ring my bell. (Between all this, there were multiple MC cuts and they were so close in my section like fucccck). WJSN then reappeared doing a cover of BTS ‘I need you’ and looked swag af. Then SF9 showed up with Sorry Sorry by Suju oppas (WJSN) also joined in. AND THEN BAM, we have our kings of music, SM D&E lighting up the fcking stage. Surprised to see that after them it was Vixx who performed. Their moves were sharp afffff. They also did that pinata game and did a lot of poses. Also when seventeen did the ending for Rock, there was extreme eye contact from Vernon’s end like damn son. And finally, seventeen closes up and perform their songs as well as shoot us with signed t shirts. Some more MC cuts in our section and then a closing when all the artists came out. AND MORE WJSN interaction, my room mate and I did the W for ‘WJSN’ and got acknowledged with a heart from WJSN’s Dawon. Might I say, WJSN is growing on me because of their fantastic fan service (screw boy groups lmao.) But yea, today was awesome but I still need to budget my life some more. Can’t wait for tomorrow night AHH!!!!

I love teaching and sometimes I know it’s not me but it can be super frustrating, especially during this time (because sometimes parents are not very… helpful). I hope you can find a better job or maybe just take the time to relax. It sounded like your job was very stressful! I had to google to see what a Biomedical engineer did and wow! i think i’m gonna try something new and respond per paragraph this time, idk why i didn’t think of this before kjsdhfjs anyway yeah election madness! my house was keeping sane only because of the nevada memes LMAO there were some real gems in there. even though i don’t even have twitter, i was just creeping on there the whole couple weeks because yeah it just updated so fast!! 

hmm yeah i’m sure it’s been very frustrating. i’m sure you’ve had to navigate the transition to remote learning and that must have been hard and i’m proud of you for it!! 🥰 i know you already know about my new job so i don’t need to update you (thank you for checking in on me btw!!!! so sweet 🥺)

(3/?) we’ll see ;_; then I’ll have to go back to CA for sure and away from my family) and then mix it with not so good things from coworkers, it could be very toxic too! To answer your question, I’ve been living in WA due to the pandemic but technically, I’m supposed to be in CA because work-wise haha I have family in CA but more like cousins and aunts… while my intermediate moved up to WA with my older brother/kids and my mom right before the pandemic. I can’t imagine being without them during this time.

oh okay gotcha, hence the kind of back and forth. that’s nice that you still have extended family out in CA though! yeah i’ve been living at my parents’ place for a couple months, will be moving back to start work. i agree though, the one good thing is being with family during this time - it has honestly been really nice to be here because I was alone in my apartment for 7 months and so it’s nice to wake up and have someone else there and just people to talk to throughout the day. also it’s literally been 9.5 months since my roommate and I both lived in our apartment together (she went to her parents place march-october and came back when i left for mine) so i hope it won’t be too weird of an adjustment for either of us LOL

(4/?) So far the glasses are working! I think I was still adjusting and did get a headache or two but sometimes with teaching, I get them. Too many decisions at once haha (But it’s super cold here, I’m dying a bit lol My brother came down with me to SD before school started again and he was all “IT’S TOO HOT” hahaha) Ahh! Yes! When NU’EST, VIXX and even BAP came for the first KCON, I was like oh!!! How nice!

I’m glad the glasses have been working!! meanwhile i’ve just been watching a lot of tv in my time off lately so i might need a real eye exam soon and i hope i havent developed a prescription >< hahaha san diego is probably too hot compared to washington, he’s right!! i live near the bay so it’s moderate all year which is nice.

(5/?) Because of course I heard of them but never really listened. I wasn’t even that into EXO haha I was transitioning from other groups but I had knew all the songs so I was like yay! What is love! I had liked Soo for the same reason you liked Baek! But nowadays, I say I don’t have a bias, but I think it’s really become Baek… sorry Yixing ;_; I love the boy but his music style isn’t really what I like while Baek’s songs, pretty much are ^^;

yes i really got into a lot of new artists after that kcon!! of course it was short lived, because college started a year and a half later and i immediately got too busy to keep uo with anything lol. and omg i can’t believe what is love did the same thing to both of us, exo has really had power since day 1 ;; hehe who’s to say you can’t have multiple biases for different reasons?! literally that’s all exo does, sucker us all into different members all the time. i don’t blame you one bit lmao

(6/?) I love EXO-royalty concept! Every time I think we’d get it, we don’t. But definitely love all the performances with them wearing outfits close to it! Haha I agree. LMR was pretty “cutesy” compared to other ones but not like Power. What did you think about Jongin’s teasers so far! I had the timing off and was just putting my phone away for something when it came on and I was like WHAT!? I had it in my head that was going to be tomorrow morning at 7am but it was Wednesday at 7pm lol But yay!

yeah those awards shows outfits keep me going in the meantime lmao. i really hope they do royalty after all the military service is over....they really are the kings of kpop let’s be honest. OMGGGGGG don’t even get me started on jongin right now he is the only man!!!! the only one!!! literally i don’t think i listened to a single other song for 48 hours after the album dropped lmao. what’s your favorite track?! and which was your favorite out of the film? my favorite is definitely reason, and i think my fave video was nothing on me (which is also my second fav track) but literally everything is good. i’m so proud of him and happy for him, he deserves all the success!!

50 Year-End Reflection Questions

1. The most important goal that I achieved this year was: Hell, I don’t even remember what my goals were. Which maybe is a good thing.

2. My biggest fitness accomplishment was: When I went hiking this past fall I went for 4 miles up a goddamn mountain and I felt great. 

3. My biggest career accomplishment was: I felt Amazon and found a job with a way better company that treats me well, with work I enjoy doing, and I actually have some upward mobility in. 

4. My biggest relationship accomplishment was: I think I worked on my temper a lot. One of my biggest issues is that I am very reactive and emotional, and when I argue with my boyfriend I tend to fly off at the handle. I tried a lot harder to control that lately and I think I did better. 

5. These are the skills I acquired this year: Got better at cross stitch. Got better at Korean. Got better at navigating NYC by myself. Got better at driving long distances. 

6. A big mistake that I made this year—and the lesson that I learned as a result—was: Don’t rely on other people to provide for you the life that you want. EVEN IF their intentions are pure, it could end up crashing down on you and you’re the only one who is going to suffer for it. 

7. An obstacle or a challenge that I overcame this year: My car getting totaled, ending up without a place to live, finding a new job. I got hit pretty hard in 2018. 

8. This year, I learned the following about myself: I am always going to be okay, even if I’m not okay. In the end, I always pull it together somehow. I don’t give myself enough credit for that. 

9. Here’s something I learned about other people: Kind of related to above. Even if someone is loving and kind and seems to have your best interest in mind, doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t let you down. 

10. This made me laugh the hardest this year: When Heather fell outside of the sushi restaurant and everyone saw her ( I feel bad but oh my god, I can’t even tell that story without laughing) When Jason was trying to teach me mahjong and somehow forgot that I’m white and can’t read Chinese. 

11. The most fun I had all year was: Drunken nights at Heather’s. KCON, California. 

12. My best memory of the year was: I think going to San Francisco by myself was a good memory. It had a lot of ups and downs but it was an adventure I won’t forget. 

13. My biggest regret of the year was: Again, relying on other people too much. 

14. My biggest disappointment of the year was: Not getting my little house on the farm. I know deep down its actually better I didn’t end up living there, but it was a nice fantasy for awhile. 

15. The books I read this year were: Lots more educational/spiritual stuff. 

16. My favorite movie of the year was: A Quiet Place

17. A TV show I really enjoyed watching this year was: I don’t really watch TV

18. I really enjoyed this live performance (concert, play, musical, or dance performance): I actually went to quite a few shows this year and they were all great. KCON was cool because I finally got to experience a show with multiple Kpop artists. Dumfoundead was fantastic because it was intimate and the crowd was great and I was drunk and Heather and I had a blast. Panic! at the Disco because we had amazing seats. Monsta X as usual. 

19. Here’s a song I listened to over and over again this year: Love Scenario. I don’t know what it is about this song, it’s so simple, but it puts me in such a good mood and I can’t help but sing along.

20, This is something I wish I hadn’t bought this year: Nothing comes to mind. 

21. This is the best thing I bought all year: Plane tickets and concert tickets.

22. Someone I really enjoyed spending time with this year was: Jason. Lame, sorry, but we have a lot of fun together. 

23. I adopted this new positive habit:  Controlling what I eat so as to not aggravate my gallstones, and learning more about my body in the process.

24. I dropped this negative habit: I am a lot better about clutter

25. One time I stood up for myself this year was: Toward the end of the year I realize how much people were taking advantage of my kindness and willing to put them first, so I started saying no more. 

26. The scariest thing I went through this year was: I guess not knowing where my future was going.

27. A really cool thing I created this year was: I did a lot more cross-stitch and the big project I did for my friend’s birthday was pretty cool.

28. My most common mental state this year was: My emotions are always all over the place. 

29. Here’s how I grew emotionally this year: I think I became more self-reliant, just by nature of being let down by so many people. I was already fairly independent but this year tested my limits of just figuring things out on my own. 

30. Here’s how I grew spiritually this year: I became a lot more in-tune with my spiritual practices, rituals, and how I want them incorporated into my life. 

31. The best gift I received this year was: Tickets to KCON ^^

32. The nicest thing someone did for me this year was: I can’t name a specific thing but Jason, as always, has been there for me and always makes sure I’m taken care of.

33. The nicest thing I did for someone else this year was: I mean, lets be real, my best friend wouldn’t have had her dream home if it weren’t for all my time, money, and help  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

34.  I showed real gumption this year when I: Had to look for a new job. Also cut all my hair off.

35. If I could change one thing about this year it would be: Not putting all of my eggs in one basket and having a better back-up plan.

36. A new food/dish I tried this year was: Capers

37. This year my physical health was: MUCH better than last year. I only got sick once and it was a very subtle. Overall I was in good health and exercising regularly. 

38. Here’s a new friend I made this year: I met a Tumblr friend in person this summer! ^^

39. This year I traveled to: Las Vegas, NYC, New Jersey, Washington D.C,  Maryland, San Francisco, Hollywood. 

40. Here’s one adventure I had this year: Aforementioned SanFran trip, also Hollywood for the Christmas party and touristy stuff. 

41. One contribution I made to my community was: I often try to be involved in spreading awareness, donating clothing, giving money to charity,etc. 

42. This year I spent a lot of time here: The internet?

43. This year I broke out of my comfort zone by: Traveling alone. I’ve done the actual travel part by myself plenty of times, but this was the first time I wasn’t really meeting up or staying with anyone when I got there. 

44. A hobby I loved spending time on this year was: Cross-Stitch!

45. This year I practiced self-care by: Getting back into my skin routine, taking vitamins, meditating. 

46. My biggest time waster this year was: Tetris

47. Here’s a great time-saving hack I learned this year:  *shrug*

48. What I am most grateful for this year is: My loved ones being there for me, myself for keeping it together.
