At first, I was confused about who this robot character was because everyone rarely talks about him. But then, after I watched all of the Astro Boy 2003 series, I finally know who it was. It was Astro’s "king of robots" body that Tenma made and offered to him. Which he rejected the offer and left it at that and never to be seen again. It was interesting that Astro had another body, but I wasn't happy with its design, so I drew it in my own design, and it turned out pretty good. Love it on how it turned out
Tumblr media
I spent hours in this, so 🥲....
This is what the original design looks like 👇🏻

rare 12 am sketchy post
about Robot Tenma bc I just wanna talk about his design
here's a general size comparison to Ochan
Tumblr media
hes not too flashy as I normally would go bc I wanted to lean into the King Atom body so they look related obviously. I kept him in his usual outfit since it works nicely with King Atoms body with the buttons and all
Tumblr media
Also, the reason why the robot body is bigger is bc the king Atom body is also a bit taller and I thought it'd be kinda cute if Tenma wanted to keep their sizes relatively the same. Living together with his son for who knows how many years I'd think he'd want to live in a suspended time bubble. Like nothings wrong. (except for...you know...)
Tumblr media
Thought maybe Tenma thinks one weakness as a human would be showing or expressiong emotions to some degree. So I figured a completely solid face without expressions would suit the idea. But an overlooked part of the design is that his eyes still give him away. Like, he says nothing but his eyes betray him when things start to boil up
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it's v importanT that his eyes are still expressive to some degree when something™ happens!
This isnt supposed to be that long of a post but just some 12 am thinking about a robot design. I'm pretty content with him atm, there's not much I'd want to change. A pretty straightforward and easy to draw design and what more could you ask for??
(ignore this doodle with him being lil too big here)

I'm back wayy too early, Just as promised!👍🏻
How are you?
Would you like to explain, in the Reader of your choice that "Flaxans' king is kinda..", mister?🤨📸
Aaand that's It for now, drink some water mr. Allig-author, I'll do the same.
See you in the close future! ~💙🌺✨
Flaxan Leader x antihero male reader
Headcanons
Tumblr media
straight up cant find any flaxan gifs
What do you mean 🤨📸 I said what I said 🗣️
Reader is kinda based on Deadpool, but with some tweaks. Insert also flaxan headcanons, cuz I thought it was funny.
Working with teen team had never really been something you planned to do. You were more of an antihero than an outright hero. Majority of the public didn’t even know about your existence, since most of your dirty work was done in the shadows.
But seeing as the guardians of the globe weren’t responsive, and you had been in this business for a long time, Cecil called in a favor you owed him, which lead to you fighting alongside this group of young heroes.
To you it felt like being a caretaker or kindergarten teacher, since you were older than all of them with a lot more knowledge and experience. Your lack of care about spilling blood and killing seemed to unnerve a few of them, invincible being one of them.
Your regeneration seemed to shock the flaxans you fought, as they’d blow your head off with their blasters, or would slice your limbs off, only for them to regrow in seconds as your damaged body kept on fighting.
Invincible may have scarred his face, but you were the one the one who would become the flaxan leader fought head on. You may not have super strength like some of the others, but your expertise made you even more of a bother to fight.
Since we know nothing about flaxans, let’s say that they flirt through sparring or fighting, so you being your joking usual Deadpool self could be seen as advances of some kind. The kiss you blow him as they flee the first time doesn’t help your case.
After the first invasion, I can already imagine the likes of invincible freaking out a little or a lot about how easily you kill and how you make a joke out of everything. It results in you having to give these young heroes a reality check, that being a hero isn’t easy, and that they’ll probably end up killing more people than they save. That’s your feelings about it anyways.
The second invasion has you involved again, since your extreme healing factor also means you barely need to sleep, eat or drink, as your body keeps itself going without issue. And once again you end up fighting the flaxan leader, whose now got a different look.
The first words that leave your mouth is ooing and awing, purring that you like em a little grey so you are happy to see him. All the talking you did during your first battle also meant that the flaxans, or maybe rather the leader, has a much better understanding of human speech.
The second invasion ends like the first, except the leader is too busy fighting with you to focus on invincible and atom eve, so Robot ends up finding their weakness on his own. Sometime during the fight your mask also ends up getting ripped off, letting you plant a big kiss on the flaxan leader’s forehead before they flee.
When members of the teen team ask why the hell you did that, you just shrug and make some comment about how you two “have a connection”. Its clearly a joke, because you take nothing seriously, but the flaxan leader seems to see it as legit.
The third invasion goes differently from the show, since the leaders risen up to rule all of his people, and instead of wanting to invade earth this time he comes through to court you, much to everyone’s surprise, both you, the teen team, and the media that’s been watching the entire time.
Imagine your surprise when the flaxan leader, now a good deal older and in a powersuit, rocking up to you with flowers native to his planet and what looks like a bracelet made out of similar material to his armor.
It takes some translation and some help from Cecil and his people to figure out what its all about, and honestly you feel a little chuffed at this big guy pretty much proposing to you after two fights. It seems completely out of the norm for humanity, but apparently its normal in flaxan culture.
In the end it helps create more of an allyship with the flaxans than them getting eradicated by omni-man. And you end up scoring a hot older guy who doesn’t seem to mind your many many scars. Its not everyone who can say their husband developed technology strictly to be able to exist in your world, is it? you definitely brag online about it, “if he wanted too, he would” and all that.

Pluto, Astro Boy, and the nuclear arms race
here's a few rough paragraphs I wrote analyzing how Pluto, as well as the Astro Boy arc it is based off of, contain a critique of the global nuclear arms race (I might fix it up a bit over time). Although many will notice the Iraq war inspiration in Pluto, there is a lot more to it than that which I would like to highlight for others. There will be spoilers for both Pluto as well as the "Greatest Robot on Earth" and "Blue Knight" arcs of Astro Boy. Click below the jump to read if you don't mind seeing that. Pictures from the "Greatest Robot on Earth" arc are also included.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
An important detail about Astro Boy is that Osamu Tezuka originally had him and I believe the other robots contain electronic brains that were nuclear-powered. This was intended as an expression of Tezuka's hopes that nuclear power could be used for peace, in spite of the bombings of Japan during WWII. "Atom" is even his name in Japan for this reason, for atomic power.
"The Greatest Robot on Earth" arc has standard cartoon villain stuff. An evil king, the Sultan, who was dethroned and exiled by his people for his greed and oppression, commissions the mysterious scientist Dr. Abullah to build him a powerful fighting robot, Pluto. Pluto is ordered to take out the seven greatest robots in the world so he can prove himself the greatest, giving the Sultan his chance to rule the world. But Pluto himself is not evil and is shown to be capable of compassion and kindness even towards the robots he is tasked with defeating. He was made to fight by humans and carries out his orders.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Pluto emerges badly damaged but victorious from his fight with Brando, he gets rescued and spared by Astro Boy, the Sultan has Dr. Abullah place a bomb inside Pluto that will have him self-destruct in the event he is defeated. Astro Boy wants to be upgraded to 1,000,000 horsepower so he can beat Pluto, something Dr. Ochanomizu disapproves of, thinking Astro cannot handle it and that it is unnecessary. After Dr. Ochanomizu is kidnapped and held hostage, the ethically questionable Dr. Tenma comes in to upgrade Astro Boy. When Astro Boy heads off towards Pluto's location, passersby who recognize him think that he has become a monster, a statement that upsets him. Astro Boy loses his first fight with Pluto, but Pluto spares him to repay the favour Astro previously gave him. Meanwhile, another masked scientist, Dr. Goji, introduces himself to the Sultan and has a robot even more powerful than Pluto called Bora. Dr. Goji is eventually revealed to be Dr. Abullah in a different guise. In the grand climax, Pluto and Astro fighting causes or coincides with a volcanic eruption that the two have to team up to control and prevent it from harming the nearby city and villages. Afterwards Pluto starts to defy the Sultan's orders to fight Astro Boy, but Bora attacks and defeats Pluto, causing Pluto to self-destruct and taking Bora out with him. Astro Boy is the only great robot left standing. In the end, Goji / Abullah reveals that he was really a robot servant of the Sultan in disguise. He wanted to help the Sultan at first but upon learning his intentions to have Pluto destroy other robots he built Bora to stop him. The robot servant vows to never build a robot like Pluto or Bora again, and takes off with the Sultan, who was sobbing over his loss and defeat. Astro Boy and Dr. Ochanomizu ponder why robots have to fight each other and hope for a future in which robots can live in peace, while visions of the great robots who were defeated appear in the sky.
Tumblr media
The Sultan's effort to be the greatest on earth through the pursuit of power and violence was an exercise in futility. All of his efforts were in vain, it destroyed several great robots and put human lives at risk, and he even lost his own great creation Pluto. Even if you can be the strongest, there's still the possibility someone stronger like Bora may emerge, so it is only a temporary satisfaction that results in an endless anxiety to maintain that status. In the manga, even the do-gooder Astro Boy did not get an outcome he could desire by becoming a "monster" with 1,000,000 horsepower, an ability he struggled to control. Dr. Ochanomizu, the moral conscience of the story, says at separate points to Astro Boy and the Sultan that it makes no sense to compare robots by their strength. When speaking to Astro Boy, he uses an analogy to say that if the strongest people were the greatest then wrestlers would be the most important people in the world. The greatest robot in the world is then not the strongest, but the one who is intelligent, does what is right, and works with others towards peace. It is a simple moral story for children, a commentary on global politics, and a sci-fi tragedy all rolled into one.
Tumblr media
Although a lot of the story is changed for Pluto, Naoki Urasawa remains faithful to Tezuka's message and expands upon it. Tezuka wrote the Greatest Robot on Earth during the Cold War, when the Vietnam / Indochina war had been underway and was heading for its highest point. Urasawa wrote in a different time, but incorporates clear analogies to the Iraq war and the war on terror. The seven great robots are directly called "weapons (or robots capable) of mass destruction." Production of these robots became restricted by an international treaty advocated by the United States of Thracia, a country that is not part of the world's version of an international criminal court. After the treaty was enacted, the Kingdom of Persia was accused by Thracia of producing a robot capable of mass destruction under the mysterious Bora project. The Bora Survey Group was sent in to investigate the allegations. While it could not verify the allegations, the Survey Group did uncover a dispensary of destroyed and disposed robots, analogous to a mass grave. After the Bora Survey Group withdrew from the Kingdom of Persia, United States of Thracia led a multinational force invading the Kingdom of Persia, changing its regime to a democracy. After Darius XIV falls, the peacekeeping forces arrive and become as occupiers. Both the invading forces and peacekeepers include these robots of mass destruction (all seven great robots), so it is seen as the strong nations picking on the weak. Near the the cusp of defeat, Darius XIV and Abullah plot to get revenge by eliminating the strongest robots, members of the Bora Survey Group and against Thracia. The Bora project, which initially started as an effort to make Persia's dry deserts flourish, is now used for something more sinister now that its director has become consumed by hatred and the desire for revenge.
Tumblr media
There are additional clues to the nuclear analogy too. Most obvious is Epsilon's photon energy, which is capable of turning people and robots to ashes, but is also being researched for peaceful purposes. The seven great robots are viewed as keeping the world in balance, like some kind of nuclear equilibrium of mutually assured destruction. The United States of Thracia does not possess one of these, unlike the real USA which has the largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world. Elimination of the seven great robots is seen as altering the balance of world power. In the background, Thracia is revealed to have a highly intelligent supercomputer, personified by the teddy bear Roosevelt, that has been calculating behind the scenes. Thracia's president, who is given partial information, believes that the robots being eliminated will be Thracia's opportunity to become a great and powerful nation. It seems this may have been the intention of both the 39th Central Asian war as well as the international treaty forbidding new robots of mass destruction. What the President is not told is that there is still Bora, who is capable of setting off a bomb that can destroy most human life on earth. While the President is assured survival, it is on the condition that he becomes a slave to the supercomputer Roosevelt. Like the Sultan in Tezuka's story, his pursuit for greatness by means of power and warfare failed, and made him become entrapped in an inescapable and lethal struggle.
Tumblr media
Where Pluto starts to deviate from this nuclear theme is when it becomes a story about advanced artificial intelligence. Rather than Atom / Astro getting upgraded to become more physically powerful, he gains the human-like capacity to hate and kill, much like Gesicht and BRAU-1589. While Gesicht is given more depth than Tezuka's Gerhardt (the robot detective character after which he is based on, who only got eight pages), BRAU-1589 was not originally a character in this arc at all. I've seen readers of the manga online note a similarity between BRAU-1589 and the Blue Knight, a villain from another Astro Boy arc, and after reading it I would agree that it is likely based off of him. In this story the Blue Knight started as a robot character whose robot sister married a human that loved her for her beauty. But the man was abusive, cruel to other robots and ultimately killed her. This angered the Blue Knight who developed hatred and began to disavow humans, leading a robot rebellion to build a robot paradise free from human persecution (interestingly, compared to Israel) where he demonstrates a capacity to kill people. I will not go over the story too much, but humans begin to fear and persecute robots even further, even Astro Boy gets caught up in the rebellion or "cycle of hate," and it goes on for a few chronologically succeeding arcs that explore Astro Boy's nature that Pluto likely lifted from. Most tellingly of all, The Blue Knight arc ends when Blue Knight's weapon, a spear or lance, is taken by an enemy and thrown back through his chest, just like the one BRAU-1589 has in his.

An Abbreviated History of Mecha Part 1: The Mighty Atomic Prelude (The 50's and 60's)
Tumblr media
Welcome to An Abbreviated History of Mecha anime. Today, we're starting at, as Fraulein Maria would say, at the very beginning. We're taking a quick peak at the beginning of the canon, which means that we're starting back in 1950 (specifically 1952). I should also confess right now: there are two series on here that are demonstrably NOT mecha shows. However, due to their sheer influence on Japanese media as a whole, I feel it is important to bring them up as being honorary mecha shows due to their sheer influence pop culture.
Tetsuwan Atom/Mighty Atom/Astro Boy (1952)
Tumblr media
Starting us off is Osamu Tezuka's seminal manga series, Mighty Atom. Known over here in the west as Astro Boy, this series would be what kickstarts a lot of the modern anime and manga industry due to its sheer popularity. Astro Boy would also be one of two series that would be emblematic of how Japanese pop culture would portray the recent use of atomic energy. It should also be worth noting that realizing that Astro technically is a mecha is what got me to start using a broader definition of mecha instead of the classic giant robot definition.
Due to its fame, Mighty Atom has receive multiple adaptations throughout the years. Of note are:
The original 1963 anime.
New Mighty Atom (1980) which updates the series to 1980's animation standards.
The 2003 anime, which does the same, but to the standards of early 2000's anime.
The 2009 CGI movie.
Gojira/Godzilla (1954, honorary mecha series 1)
Tumblr media
1954 would also give us Ishiro Honda's Godzilla, the movie that would make tokusatsu-styled live action stories in Japan. Godzilla, alongside RKO's King Kong, would play a large part in popularizing the concept of kaiju. And boy will kaiju play a big part in the history of the mecha canon. As we'll see soon enough, the history of tokusatsu heroes, kaiju, and robots are all intertwined with one another.
Godzilla has starred in numerous movies since the original, but for stories based off of the original there are:
Godzilla Raids Again (1955), a direct sequel.
Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: All Out Monsters Attack (2001), a Heisei-era production that uses the original '54 Godzilla as a manifestation of the horrors of World War II.
Shin Godzilla (2016), a re-imagining of the original movie set in contemporary times directed by Hideakki Anno.
Godzilla Minus One (2023), the most recent outing inspired in part by GMK.
Tetsujin 28-go/Gigantor (1956)
Tumblr media
(Oh hey, this gif again!)
Tetsujin 28-go is the creation of one Mitsuteru Yokoyama and is generally regarded as the grandfather of the giant robot style of mecha. Tetsujin is unique amongst mecha in that it is controlled not by a pilot riding inside of it, but by a little kid with a controller. Tetsujin 28, alongside Mazinger Z, would help to codify a lot of the tropes common to the classic superhero mecha anime that would be prevalent in the 70's. Like Mighty Atom, Tetsujin would receive multiple adaptations throughout the decades.
Shin Tetsujin 28-Go/The New Adventures of Gigantor (1980), which updates Tetsujin's design to look more in line with something like Mazniger Z.
Tetsujin 28-go FX (1992), sporting a radically different look that's more akin to something out of the Brave Franchise.
Tetsujin 28 (2004), a faithful adaptation of the original manga (at least I think it is) directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa.
Cyborg 009 (1964)
Tumblr media
Created by Shotaro Ishinomori in 1964, Cyborg 009 is another classic human-sized mecha series. Cyborg 009 would be the first of many hits for Ishinomori, and he will be mentioned again later in this series.
Oh boy... I am not a Cyborg 009 nut, but in terms of adaptations, Cyborg 009 has:
The 1966 Film
The 1980 Film
009 Re:Cyborg (2012)
The Call For Justice Trilogy (2016)
The 1968 Anime
The 1979-1980 Anime
The 2001-2002 Anime (I actually remember when Toonami aired this series!)
Cyborg 009 vs Devilman (2015 OVA)
If you want to follow someone who follows a lot of Shotaro Ishinomori's works, I'd recommend checking out YouTuber Mercury Falcon for more info about Ishinomori.
Ultra Q and Ultraman (1966, honorary mecha series 2)
Tumblr media
(The urge to use a gif of Ingraman is strong)
Ultra Q and Ultraman are the first two entries of Tsuburaya's legendary Ultra franchise, with the latter in particular being one of the most famous pop culture icons of all time. Ultraman's influence on Japanese media is so large, that I'll be mentioning it at least once in relation to other series later on.
Ultraman, like Godzilla before him, would get the Hideaki Anno treatment with Shin Ultraman in 2022.
Giant Robo/Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot (1967)
Tumblr media
Another one of Mitsuteru Yokoyama's classic manga series, Giant Robo deserves a mention due to its influence on tokusatsu. Giant Robo would usher in an era of tokusatsu that would rely on using giant robots as the main protagonist.
In terms of adaptations, there are two animated adaptations, but only one will be listed here:
GR: Giant Robo (2007)
If you want to learn a little bit more about the history behind Giant Robo, I'd recommend checking out blunova's video on Giant Robo for more info on this important series.
Conclusion
As the 60's would lead way into the 70's, we would see a lot more live action tokusatsu series involving giant robots. Of course, this would be untenable due to how expensive it was to do tokusatsu effects for television. However, one robot would appear in animation that would change everything.
(Read in the voice of Tessho Genda) AND ITS NAME IS...!!!!

U.N.G.C.C. Incident Report: Gojirin
U.N.G.C.C. Kaiju Subject #20: Gojirin/Godzillan/Godzillin/Female Gojiran
Tumblr media
(image done by Matt Frank)
HEIGHT: 80 Meters, (Pre-Supercharge) 100 Meters
LENGTH: 200 Meters, 108 Meters (tail, Pre-Supercharge), 140 Meters (tail)
MASS: 50,000 Metric Tons (Pre-Superchagre), 60,000
THREAT LEVEL: 5
FOR AUTHORIZED EYES ONLY
Tumblr media
Subject #20, classified by Kaijuologists as "Gojirin", translations varying from "Godzillin" and "Godzillan", is a female Gojiran, a surprise to scientists since sightings are a rarity. In the aftermath of Godzilla's (II) battle against Mothra and Battra, submarine attacks alerted international attention. Many thought it was Godzilla, but the psychic Miki Segusa reminded those at the meeting of the saurian's imprisonment via Mothra's seal. Not wanting to let this mystery Kaiju run rampant, naval ships from the JSDF, UK, and the United States were deployed to the Pacific. But, the ships were attacked by what survivors described as a pink-scaled Godzilla with hear-shaped dorsal fins. Gojirin, possesses the abilities and durability of the usual Gojiran, laid waste to the recon team, forcing a retreat.
The news shocked the U.N.G.C.C. G-Countermeasures council, while scientists were using the remains of the Simean war machine known as 'Mechagodzilla', creating one to defend humanity against Kaiju. Within months after Gojirin's existence was discovered, Mechagodzilla II was completed. Professor Leo Asimov, the roboticist and lead designer of the mech took notes from the Simean robot and suggested testing the mech against the recently discovered Gojirin. Many were unsure due to Mechagodzilla II being recently completed, Commander Takaaki Aso ordered the mech to be deployed. Especially since Godzilla's reemergence in Adona Island, unknown to G-Force at the time, contained what many thought to be a pteranodon egg.
Tumblr media
Mechagodzilla flew to a countryside outside of Kyoto, where the female Gojiran was spotted. The two titans engaged in battle, where the mechanical saurian proved to be a match to Gojirin. Despite her ferocious tenacity, she was brought low by Mechagodzilla, who was about to deliver a killing blow. Until Godzilla blasted it with his Atomic Breath, thought impervious, distracted the pilots of the mech. As Mechagodzilla engaged in combat with its primary target, Gojirin continued her march to Kyoto. The reason for her and Godzilla coming ashore: the pteranodon egg was actually the egg of a Godzillasaurus. Kaijuologists hypothesized that Godzilla and Gojirin had entered companionship and the egg was laid by the latter. Judging by its persistence in honing in on the hatchling, the Monster King took on the role of a surrogate father.
Mechagodzilla was heavily damaged, barely making it back to G-Force to undergo repairs, forcing the organization to deploy Maser Tanks and planes against the Saurian pair. Miki Segusa and Azusa Gojo, objected to the monsters' destruction and the use of the hatchling, Godzilla Jr, as bait when Kaijuologists discovered that the Gojirans have a second brain located within the hips. Azusa accompanied the kaiju infant to calm it down, having imprinted her as a mother figure when it hatched. But, during transport to a designated area far from any populated areas, Gojirin intercepted the planes. Instead of blasting them with her Atomic Breath, not wanting to harm her offspring, she knocks the plane carrying Junior and Azusa, catching the carrier they were in. Commander Aso ordered Mechagodzilla to be deployed, thankfully with the mech having reached full repairs and modifications.
Gojirin was marching through a baseball stadium when Mechagodzilla reached her, engaging in a rematch. Its weapons and lasers proved too much for the concerned mother, being brought down once more. Until the arrival of her mate, Godzilla, where the scales tipped in the Saurians' favor. As Gojirin took out one of the mech's eyes, aiming to kill the pilots inside, the Garuda, originally designed to fight Kaiju before Mechagodzilla II's construction, arrived as it was piloted by formerly demoted G-Force pilot Kazuma Aoki. Getting the pair away from the mech, Aoki managed to get close to it to combine the two anti-Godzilla weapons into one powerful machine: Super Mechagodzilla!
Tumblr media
The mech, more powerful than ever, blasted the female Gojiran with extreme prejudice; greatly wounding her. Godzilla, roaring in rage, unleashed a ferocious assault upon his mechanical doppelganger, due to the mech not having combat capabilities its design template had. However, Godzilla turned his attention to his injured mate, then to his surrogate son; leaving him open to be injured by the mech, which shot paralyzing missiles at its second brain. The King of Monsters went down, as ground troops, assisted by Aoki, freed Azusa and Junior; who cried out in response to the gruesome violence. Gojirin, seemingly knowing that her mate was in danger and her wound was grave, charged towards Mechagodzilla, but was shot down by the mech. But, it was a move of tactical thinking, which Godzilla would later demonstrate in his battle against Spacegodzilla, having the female Gojiran land upon the injured Monster King. Giving her energies to her mate, her radiation was used to repair Godzilla's second brain.
Revitalized and motivated to avenge his mate, Godzilla unleashed his upgraded Spiral Heat Ray, a move used to destroy the Simean Mechagodzilla years ago. The heat from the healed saurian and its attacks proved too much for Mechagodzilla II, forcing the pilots to abandon the mech. With the battle concluded, but Gojirin sacrificed herself for it to end, Godzilla approached Junior, who cowered in fear and was mourning the death of his biological mother. With convincing from Azusa and telepathic assistance from Miki, the baby kaiju marched to the sea with his surrogate father, traveling to Birth Island and taking up residence. Despite Gojirin's demise, her entire essence was used to heal Godzilla, preventing G-Force from acquiring her corpse for study.
EVENT ANALYSIS: MAKUHARI, JAPAN

CITY DESTRUCTION: 20.5% (area irradiated)
CASUALTIES: 200+ (ESTIMATED)
SUBJECT(S) CAPTURED: 1 (temporary captivity)

Yo, dudes! The robot uprising is pretty chill. Maybe you could like, join it or something?
Tumblr media
Here's Atom's king of robots upgrade. His horn is made of a crystal of some kind, for no real reason other than I thought it looked cool and the human version has a gemstone thing on his forehead. As well as massive wings and a shiny new horn Tenma gives him a new "better" cutie mark that he thinks would fit a king better.
The only decent pics of his upgrade are in really strong lighting so the colours are a bit off.

Version without the gigantic wings in the way ^

Showa Godzilla Biological Analysis
(including Minilla)
This Godzilla appeared in the ocean after the first godzilla died from the oxygen destroyer presumably also awakened by the american hydrogen bomb test in South pacific in 1954.
Godzilla's physiology appears similar to theropods except more like outdated depictions of theropods standing upright with an erect back and dragging its tail on the ground!
Godzilla also has large well developped arms with opposable thumbs to manipulate his environment and also grab onto opponents.
Godzilla's tissues are theorized to be so dense that they’re stronger than the strongest materials in universe as he was durable enough to tank the space monster King Ghidorah's gravity beams which are stated to be powerful enough to destroy planets like venus, this gives him incredible resilience!
Godzilla is also shown to be quite adaptable as electricity used to harm him but now became immune to it even absorbing soo much lightning that he gained electromagnetism during his battle against Mechagodzilla as he uses it to attract the robot to him as it was attempting to retreat!
Godzilla is shown to be incredibly intelligent (like with most showa kaijus) capable of having long term memory and also showing alot of emotions as seen with Minilla showing sympathy for him and adopts him and also shows compassion for him caring and teaching him how to use an atomic breath, he does show however to be extremely aggressive towards humans in the past but it was stated by the shobijins that he hates humans because they hate them, probably due to being obviously threatened by the millitary who shot at him when he was first sighted, nowadays he seems to be more gentle towars humans even saving humanity on occasion from threats that dare to threatnened earth with the help of other earth monsters!
Another godzilla individual was seen in the form of an infant godzilla named Minilla which gives us some info on the growth stages of the species!
When hatched out of the egg from a group of large praying mantis Kamacuras, Minilla possesses a tan color on his skin has a shorter neck and thinner limbs and lacks any dorsal plates, Minilla then grew to 18 meters tall his coloration became grey and possesses a more elongated head and his dorsal plates started to grow, and developped an atomic breath although unlike the mature godzilla minilla can only breathe a smoke ring possibly due to not having a well developped organ!
Most People (atleast from what i can find-) seem to think showa goji is a theropod possibly a late ceratosaur that splits off from abelisaurs but i like to think Showa Godzilla is actually a highly derived Notosuchian related to simosuchus!
This kaiju biological analysis was inspired by @iamthekaijuking's biological analysis on showa gamera kaijus i had alot of fun reading them and i also had alot of fun doing this analysis on showa goji and this is the best i can do with my research!

Small annoying thing in fnv is the robots gatekeeping the strip that only let you in if you have 2000 caps or a passport because
2000 caps is such a huge amount of money if you haven’t already explored a good part of the wasteland and traded stuff. I know I always follow the main quest up until the lucky 38 so I don’t get many opportunities of easy money. Plus, it’s specifically caps - what if you only use NCR money or Legion money? You’d have to trade all this currency for caps and the main places you can do that in are the New Vegas casinos, which are all on the Strip! You can also go to the atomic wrangler/Vikky and Vance in Primm, but then you still have to change your money for chips and then chips for caps. The amount of money you can change in one go id extremely limited and this process is just way too long to do.
Having a passport means either building up a good relationship with the ncr and owning an uniform because they won’t let you on the monorail elseway, or being on the King’s good side. GI Joe is the best option here but it is so long… and then you can’t just ask for the passport, the quest has to completed and you need to exit the dialog before coming back to ask him. Getting a good rep with the ncr is also really time-consuming and if you haven’t tried to be friends with them before the strip, it’s time for +2 hours of searching for random rangers camps to help all over the desert… ugh
it’s a small problem which fills me with a lot of rage

Thank you to everyone who has made a bet. I was hoping that in a great irony, ONE would have put up a continuation, but so far, so bad.
Here's the list! Keep your numbers safe, and we'll see what shakes out!

4 Dr Kuseno is not dead (dark edition): Destro and Erimin have done a touch of 'recovery' work
5 Overgrown Pochi remembers that he was a guard dog, hulks out and incinerates the invading robots. All 4 million of them.

7 Blast finally deigns to show up in this version. Bonus: he meets Blue.
8 Metal Bat gets out of jail.
9 McCoy finally finds some ethics.
10 Turns out that Saitama did follow Genos after all.
11 Saitama goes home and arrives just in the nick of time. Bonus: Somehow King still gets the credit for destroying the robots invading the HA.
12 JOKER: ONE declares that he's ending the webcomic.
13 Webigaza is toast. :(
14 Watchdogman is finally no longer mysterious.

31 My kingdom for a sword! Atomic and his disciples are back, all blazing fury and blades.
32 Darkshine finds his courage to fight.
33 Suiryu saves Suiko.
34 Mr. Fuzzy is pleased: this is all going according to plan.
35 Just because the suits aren't sold to you doesn't mean they're free: the Neo Heroes find out what their organisation really wants from them.
36 Mental health break: Saitama's cactus did survive after all!
37 JOKER: The OPM webcomic is set to be collected and commercially published as a spin off.
38 Saitama and Blue come to an agreement.
39 ONE is extra evil: time skip to the aftermath. How long can this man keep teasing us?
40 The Organization formally makes its demands.
41 The most reluctant hero in the world, Speed o' Sound Sonic, does something about the apocalypse.  Bonus: he rids the world of A.
42 Mr. Fuzzy never saw this turn of events coming.
43 For once, Flashy Flash gets to play the main character to his heart's content. He isn't, but let him have it. :)
44 We catch up with Child Emperor and find what he's realized.
45 Raiden gets humbled anew.
46 God cube, God cube, getcha God cubes right here! No bets on who has one or how they're using it.
47 Bang stops clipping his nails long enough to do something about the pesky robots. The HA really owes him one now.
48 Genos discovers the secret of strength. This one really should have been a joker, but I could only have two.
49 Puri Puri's infinite receptacle of love versus a thousand robots. Who wins?
50 Genos gives Dr. Kuseno the decent burial he deserves.
51 One small bright spot: all is well in City Q.
52 Amai Mask comes out of hiding to help.
53 The easiest bet: there is a giant fight between Genos and Metal Knight's robots.
54 We finally find out who the Rampaging Cyborg is.
