Silence fills the room and everyone looks at each other waiting for someone to speak up, you hear footsteps approaching you and you look up. Jingo Raichi... You took a look at the names and studied each one before walking in. Raichi points at you causing you to stumble back and fall, you look at him with horror written all over you face. Isagi doesn't know what to say, he's looking at you eyes widened. He didn't know you can break so easily, "H-Hey it's okay.. Don't cry." Isagi pats your back and you stand up straight , letting everyone catch a glimpse of your sorrow face. They're staring hard, studying your face features, and admiring at how beautiful and pretty you are when your crying. Isagi is lost at words, not knowing what to do. Instead of talking to you, Isagi uses his actions and hugs you. Your face is in his neck, he pats and rubs your back, "He didn't mean a word he said so stop crying.." You hug Isagi back and you hear clapping causing you and Isagi to lift your head up and look in the direction of the noise.

Bachira is clapping and starts talking "Congratulations on finding yourself a girlfriend Isagi!" Bachira starts laughing and everyone else does, you and Isagi pull away from each other blushing. "S-She's not my girlfriend.." "Y-Yeah.. What he said.."

The campfire crackles, a welcome warmth in the rapidly-cooling summer night. It has not yet reduced to the delightful embers ideal for roasting s’mores, so instead you urge your boyfriend to pull out his guitar.

“C’mon, Gin, just a few songs. It’s that or tell stories, and you know how Wataru gets when we let him tell stories.”

“I’m not that weird,” the brunette protests, “I’m just creative.”

“Hm.” The tall man ponders for a moment. “I’ll play if you sing.”

The glare you get from Kuon is nothing short of murderous. He’ll have to tell his silly stories some other day. Gagamaru walks languidly over to your car, then pulls his guitar case from the backseat. While Kuon’s imaginative stories were… interesting… there was a delightful charm to a few songs around the fire. Your favorite, hopefully - singer gets first pick of music.

While the silver haired man tunes his guitar, you ask, “so, what do we start with? Gin? Wataru? Any favorites?”

“I don’t care. Just nothing to romantic - I don’t wanna be sitting here while you two make heart eyes at each other,” Kuon (not particularly fond of sinnging) states plainly.

“But if we sing to you, would that be okay?” His grimace says everything - hell no. “Aww, Wataru, you won’t let your boyfriends serenade you?”

While Kuon makes faces, Gagamaru begins to strum. One chord… two chords… three chords… perfect.

Using your boyfriend’s dark stare as a cue, you begin. “Blackbird singing in the dead of night.”

“Take these broken wings and learn to fly,” Gagamaru’s voice joins yours, a deep rumbling bass endearingly off-key. “All your life you’ve been waiting for this moment to arrive.”

Begrudgingly, Kuon joins the chorus as well, further off key than Gagamaru. “Blackbird singing in the dead of night. Take these sunken eyes and learn to see. All your life you’ve been waiting for this moment to be free.”

“Blackbird, fly. Blackbird, fly. Into the light of the dark black night.” As the guitar fades and your boyfriend’s voices quiet, your note rings out into the silence.

“I thought Wataru wasn’t going to sing,” Gagmaaru remarks, smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

“Well I wasn’t just going to sit there like an idiot,”

“Aww, look at you, getting into the moment,” You tease. Although you make light of the situation, it was truly a priceless moment.

“I was not!” He exclaims. Perhaps it’s just the reflection of the fire, but you swear there’s a pinkish tint in his cheeks.

“You were.” The tall man says it plainly, like a fact. Though really it was a fact, no matter how much he denied it.

“Fine, if you’re going to be like that, then I won’t sing any more!”

Gagamaru's eyes light up, “… Does that mean we can serenade you?” 

Kuon falls dramatically forward, placing his head in his knees with a resigned sigh. With an exchange of grins between yourself and Gagamaru, you decide what to begin next - an adorably romantic love song that Kuon would (hopefully) not be angered by.

A few chords for the introduction, and you take your cue to begin slowly. "Wise men say, only fools rush in."

You and Gagamaru sing in tandem, "But I can't help falling in love with you."

As the song continues, Kuon only hides his face more, pouting like a small child. He never responded well to affection... so why he decided to date two men was beyond you.

But still, a third voice joins softly for the final lines.

"For I can't help falling in love with you."

Together you sing, three voices in the night, until the campfire is reduced to coals and the night becomes cold. But there in each others' arms, watched by the stars, you find your warmth and rest.
