Overseas breakfast time! The first of several UK breakfasts, this one at Bill's in Colchester. My companion and I got the halloumi, eggs and tomato plate; the squash, eggs and feta plate; the eggs, labneh and pita plate; and a stack of bacon-stuffed pancakes.
Result: Victory!

Labneh is made by straining salted yogurt. With an appropriate amount of salt and covered in oil, it can be stored for months at room temperature.
