Younger Undertale fans who may see this post! Be warned! Funger is not for kids! Don’t go looking it up!!! There’s nothing inherently adult in this post, but the game is very inherently adult and graphic horror!!!

https://reddit.com/r/dreamsmp/comments/ofaf0x/a_dsmp_alignment_chart_from_dreams_perspective/ do you agree?
Okay, so this isn’t my favorite system of analysis or categorization, as it is very limiting and since I just reorganized the original, I was limited into not putting people in the same category. The main reason this analysis isn’t great especially for the dsmp, is because in my opinion, there are no set laws or authority, so to determine lawful and chaotic it becomes a little dicey.
Having said that, here is what I came up with instead of the orginal, with the following reasoning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[left - original — right - mine]
I put Tubbo instead of George in lawful good, because he does seem inclined to follow the authority or set of laws, whether that is L’manberg or Dream’s. And while because of loyalty he gets roped into behavior contradicting that, I have noticed him often pointing out what the right thing to do is, even if he ends up ignoring it. For that reason, I think he is more so lawful good as he tries to respect others and the rules and authority of whoever it is in the moment, even Dream’s original rules.
As for why I didn’t put George in lawful good, that is because he doesn’t tend to follow the rules because of a sense of moral binding to them. In fact on multiple occasions he can be seen as someone causing chaos and breaking the rules. I think, his relationship with Dream, an authority, makes it look like he is lawful good but the moment that no longer applies, we see him run more rampant. I mean think about that crazy dream he has. On the other hand, he doesn’t seem inclined to be against authority, do things for the greater good nor have a more unempathetic, evil disposition, so he ends up in true neutral. This also aligns with him just chilling and building a house while everyone fights in a war. He is more so indifferent to good or evil, and freedom vs authority.
For Wilbur, he literally opposes Dream, who is basically the original authority. And starts his own nation because he didn’t want to follow the rules. Then forms an election and later overthrows his own government when he doesn’t agree with the legal results. He sets down rules and traditions but in an effort to defy existing ones. But while selfish and manipulative, I don’t think he is necessarily cruel to others just selfish and motivated by his own freedom.
Tommy on the other hand, admits in the finale to enjoying other people’s suffering, classifying him more so in evil category, in my opinion, than neutral. (But I have a feeling you already knew I’d say that ;)… just trying to get me canceled huh. I see how it is ;P…) I have talked about Tommy before, including on why I think he is a sociopath [post]. There is of course a strong case for him to be considered neutral, but his actions lean more toward actively hurting others through griefing, murder, arson, cussing out, disrespect etc… admitting to even seeking enjoyment from that chaos and havoc he wreaks, versus Wilbur just going for a goal he wants regardless of the people it might hurt.
Quackity on the other hand does not have as much of a strong opposition to authority, and seek that freedom of the chaotic alignment, he is just willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals. If that means following the authority or legal system, then he has no problem doing so. He doesn’t form a coup to overthrow Wilbur he joins an election to beat him. He doesn’t defy Tubbo as president or Sam as Wardem (like Tommy does in trying to kill Dream in prison) he just uses them two to obtain his goals. He is willing to follow authority, but also like he does with Schlatt and Dream, willing to tear it down if it interferes with his desires. Obviously, evil is a no brainer, clearly liking people’s suffering with no regard for other people seen most obviously in his enjoyment of torturing Dream and like letting Foolish die just so he can recruit him.
This leaves Sam to be lawful evil, as he sees an ordered system as necessary and takes advantage of his power and influence. Sam is so strict and by the book (except when he isn’t lol) that I’m kinda shocked they put him in neutral. Like I feel like Sam is so obviously lawful it’s just a matter of if he’s neutral or evil. Evil I think fits for the sake of his disregard for people’s lives and feelings, willing to kill Ranboo, torturing and cutting off ths arm of his lover, willing to have Dream tortured, willing to kill anyone until they are dead including Tommy, if they so much as defy his authority. Sure, his goal seems unselfish by his delusion that it’s for the good of ths server, but at the end of the day it is still his goal, his need and desire and one he clearly has no problem hurting people to do and even basically admits to enjoying it [post].
Leaving Schlatt as neutral lawful. This I think applies because Schlatt doesn’t really break the rules. He wins fair and square and he doesn’t necessarily defy Dream’s authority either. He abides by the system in place and uses it to his own personal advantage. Like Wilbur, I don’t think he is necessarily inherently enjoying making others suffer but is in it for the power and control, and is willing to do whatever it takes and whatever he wants regardless of if it hurts others or not. But he doesn’t really torture people, murder, destroy etc like the people in the evil category do, hence, while there is a strong argument that he is lawful evil and that Sam and him should switch, it seemed more fitting to put him in neutral...

23 + Boulwave + Adventure Bots
23 + BoulWave + Adventure Bots
Boulder is a really great mage, a good one if not excellent, fearless of learning and exploring any kind of new place, come one! With a small group and another mage just as excellent as Boulder they could get the power of a really powerful stone, just after saving people and resolving mysteries while running away from a terrible and disgusting metal golem drove by a crazy demon! Everything they could do was even more than excellent and could do even the unimaginable.
Now, after all of that, how was possible they couldn´t even look at a spider? A really tiny spider they could see only because there´s no better optic in all Mainland than theirs! How was possible a single fragging tiny spider (even for a human) didn´t let them get the fragging ingredient they need for the recipe? The cavern wasn´t dark thanks to a hole in the rock-roof that made possible see the orchid they needed, that was already the house of a tiny spider!
Frag! The worst part was that they couldn´t kill it, they were the intruder on the spider´s house! And spiders are actually good for the environment! They were just incapable of making it harm, but they needed that orchid and was really scared of it to even get closer. What should they do?
“Geny?” Boulder could hear from behind “we need that flower, is everything okay?” Heatwave asked to his conjux, stepping aside them, then, seeing the flower in front of them “great, do you find it” Heatwave gave a step-in front, but Boulder grabbed his shoulder and stopped him “what?”
“There´s a spider on it” Heatwave could barely hear, he had to get closer so Boulder could repeat it, of course it was a spider, why other reason there would be for them to take more time than hoped.
“My- Boulder…” Heatwave took his faceplate with his fingers, his error was to look at that terrified newspark-optics only Boulder could do “you know- I´ll kill it for you.”
“No!” Boulder protested “the spider doesn´t have the fault!”
“We need that flower.”
“The spider needs it too!” Boulder took Heatwave´s servo with force, looking at his optics with those really big orange and blue optics, Primus, how not to melt with those optics. Heatwave rolled his optics and sighed.
“Fine, what do we do then?” Boulder tried to think in something, trying to remember the recipe about the flower, Heatwave looked at all the cavern, trying to get a way to reach the orchid by other medium, getting in the act how lucky and smart that spider was, to use the only orchid in kilometers to trap its hungry prey was a horrible but good move, wait, trap it! Sure! “I have an idea!”
“Oh! You´re here!” The old, blind woman greeted the bots immediately she felt the shadow of Boulder´s back-neck large bone “what can I smell there? You got it?”
“Yes, we have it, nothing out of normal” Heatwave lowered the long neck of his alt-mode to talk better with the woman “just a scary spider” he chuckled, looking at Boulder through his visor “It´s not the entire flower but we got a lot of petals and also some of its nectar”
“Good! Good! I´ll bring your pay, just wait here” the woman got inside her house in a hurry thanks to what it seemed an ostrich but tinier and blue with a dog belt.
“Really?” Boulder reproach “a scary spider?”
“You jumped when I told you it moved on my hand” Heatwave mocked.
“It wasn´t that scary!”
Heatwave started to laugh, making Boulder turn to him the back plate of their alt-mode like a shield against him, in response, Heatwave started to gently touch tapping at it with his nose like playing with it, and in reply to it, Boulder snorted at him and tried to get him away with their nose-horn. “Stop it! I´m mad at you!”
“But I´m trying to make you feel less mad!” Heatwave excused himself “Come on Geny! There´s no need to feel ashamed!”
“I was scared by a spider!”
“And? I got scared all time when its dark, and you help me! I´m making my part and that´s all” Heatwave again tapped his nose at Boulder´s head horns “come one, we´re safe now, this is the part when you tap me back” Boulder looked at Heatwave seriously, while Heatwave looked at them with a big smile and relaxed lids, yes, Boulder was mad and ashamed, nonetheless, Heatwave´s playful character was like trying to get mad at a puppy, what was they doing by refusing to play? Boulder tapped Heatwave´s cheek plate with their nose horn gently, smiling a little, making Heatwave got closer to grab Boulder´s neck with his like a scarf “Do you feel better now?”
“Better, yes” Boulder replied softly, now tapping Heatwave´s foot with theirs.

its baffling to me when people say that astarion and lae'zel aren't actually evil because of their complexity or whatever other tragic bs like i'm sorry but that's how d&d alignments work. they are evil alignments by classification. there's nothing wrong with that. they're still people with many facets and just as many morally gray to even good aspects of their personalities. it's okay if your fave is an evil alignment lol nobody's going to take away their character sheet

Castlevania Dracula’s Curse and I have a love hate relationship; I love it and it hates me (I am stuck on a level it is so so hard) . But yeah :3, the gang, the group, the travel companions.
Explanations and text under a cut as per usual:
Grant my bestie he is so cool and fun to draw, I love combining elements of his designs. I also think the fun little ponytail and a little stubble looks nice on him. Just a little side profile study :3
Trevor before the eye scar whoah no way :O! I love drawing him smiling, he radiates pure trustworthiness. His CV3 outfit also looks very comfy ngl, especially the cape—
Another Grant, this time in 3/4 view. :D
Full body Grant doodle >:D. The Grants are taking over oh no— Did you know the cool looking knife he has in a couple promotional artworks is an actual specific type of knife? I looked it up and the closest match is a Polish bandit knife, which is a type of knife that has a lot of variation in shape but always has a distinct curve downward towards the end, it’s pretty cool!
Chibi Grant :3
Sypha got rizz lol—
Some of the only Alucard doodles on this page alas, there wasn’t anymore room for more of him (T_T ). I like depicting him with shorter hair in CV3, it mixes his CV3 and SotN designs really nicely. I also think it’s funny making his outfit kinda Kid Dracula inspired lol. I’m pretty sure there is one CV3 concept art that has some similar elements augh it’s been a while since I’ve looked up CV3 Alucard arts. There’s also one Sypha doodle here too :3.
The next two are based on a couple like draw your ship memes I ran into, the second is specifically based off of that one “hot yaoi base” lmaoooooo. Anyway, I love Sypha she’s so cool. I need to draw her more often, I have too many design ideas aaaaa—
The text says “mercenary, knight, priest, outlander”, but I spelled mercenary wrong alas. Shout out to you if you know what that’s a reference to hehehehehe >:3c
Alright, goodnight guys, hope y’all appreciate ( ^3^) <3

tbf there also many times where c!Dream has admitted to enjoying people's suffering and saying how much he enjoys chaos with the cc confirming that. There have been many characters to say it and show it so I'm not sure if that's the best example to use to define chaotic evil or if he classifies as neutral good and going by minecraft logic in the case for Cquackity then griefing and stealing for any character isn't a big deal in comparison to characters that say they enjoy torture and do it, or characters that blow up entire nations like c!wilbur.
[context]
To be fair, chaotic alignment isn’t necessary about actual “chaos” as it is about defying boundaries for the sake of freedom and such. (I swear I tried really hard to understand this dnd based alignment system and it’s almost too simple and yet complex at the same time). If it was about actual chaos then George would by far be in that alignment as he is unpredictable and loves to wreak chaos more so then Wilbur… but more importantly, I’ve talked a bunch about Dream being a notorious liar and performer. As such, I cannot emphasize enough how the context of what he’s saying is so important to get an accurate view, especially because we don’t get his pov. So even if he admits to enjoying chaos, and other people’s suffering, the context is important to understand if it’s true and why he might etc. In general though, his behavior (excluding the dramatic villain act), doesn’t seem to be to hurt others, rebel or cause chaos.
I’m addition, Dream is not classified as lawful as he does not abide by a set code, strict guidelines or authority. His actions change based on the situation and whose side he’s on, which tends to be whoever has been wronged. To the point he’ll break his own rules for the sake of fairness, equality, peace and justice. So he may help Tommy burn the Eiffel Tower one minute to avenge Tommy’s cow and Niki’s fox, but fight Tommy one second later for killing Ponk for no reason. But everyone I put in the good alignment have often done things for other people despite it not benefiting them. (Huh, perhaps that is why they are some of the most taken advantaged of and dehumanized characters…)
Anyways, we aren’t really talking about the other characters, just these 9 I was given so whether other people also expressed enjoyed of suffering or whatever is irrelevant… and yes given the lawless and destructive world of the dsmp, stealing and destroying can be considered less evil then stating an enjoyment of torture. Which is in last why, since that applies to Sam, Quackity and Tommy, who have actively participated in and expressed enjoyment from torturing and hurting people in one way or another, it makes sense to put them in the evil alignment. As far as Wilbur goes, I couldn’t exactly have multiple in the same box, otherwise he probably would be in chaotic evil. But as I did it by more extremes and he doesn’t just like torture people (even if he fantasized it) he gets put in neutral as a more so selfish but not necessarily malicious. (if blowing up nations is the definer of alignment then are we saying Dream, Techno, and Philza are all in the evil alignment as well as Wilbur, to which I hope we can all disagree with)… but um yea if you are confused about my placement of Dream and Tommy I recommend reading some of my other posts where I’ve talked about it more…
