The Roaring Lions are a group of bounty hunters who are out to stop criminals and bring them to justice. These are the members of the group! All of them are a mixture of Whumpees and Caretakers.

Theo Campbell

Leader of The Roaring Lions. A great leader in his own right, he cares deeply for his team. Had lost his mother from a criminal, who had kidnapped and murdered her. Has a strong sense of justice and stern, but fair to his team.

Malik Townsend

An intelligent man, and Theo's boyfriend and right hand man. He is a former college programming professor who had witnessed the murder of one of his students. Traumatized by this, he quits teaching and joined The Roaring Lions to stop crime. Dedicated and proud of his work, he is quite friendly, and will do everything in his power to stop crime.

Elliot Parrish

An autistic trans man who is quite shy and introverted. He grew up in a town full of crime and wants to make a change after witnessing a friend getting robbed and nearly murdered. He is usually the one behind the scenes, working on communicating with his team and tracking down criminals they are looking for. Hates the sight of blood.

Angela Mullen

Elliot's childhood best friend and crush, and a tough woman. She is the brawn to Elliot's brains. Has a short temper but cares deeply for her friends and family. She is a self sacrificing woman who would give up even her life to protect her friends.

Olivia Taylor

A sweet and gentle woman who is once a doctor. Like Elliot, she works behind the scenes taking care of any of her injured teammates. However, she can fight well, especially with her beloved pistol she named Gabby, given by her father, who was murdered in a home invasion.

Lillie Garcia

A former nurse who used to work under Olivia. Struggling with self esteem and self confidence issues, she believes she isn't a good fit in the team and tries everything she could to get their "approval", even though it is unnecessary. She crushes on Olivia since their doctor days, but feels that she would reject her.

Stepan Romanov

A man who knows his ways of many weapons. Used to work at a gun shop, until his former college classmate, Theo, had asked him to join The RoarinNaseem. He's the one who takes care of the team's weapons. Friendly and loves to talk about weapons, but is street smart. Is protective of his allies, especially his childhood best friend, Nasheem.

Nasheem Fazal ur Rahman Bina

Nasheem has a prosthetic leg due to being kidnapped, tortured, and got their leg cut off before they were rescued. The kidnapper is never caught, and upon learning of The Roaring Lions, they joined them in the hopes of finding their kidnapper. Despite the trauma, they hide it with a smile and joking around, and is quite naive. They're close friends with Stepan.

Backstory to my hunter/MC hybrid OC:

You know how Mc has heart situation in game? I solved that, offered my soul to Demon Queen Lilith. She accepted my offer. But that means you sometimes get sweet Lilith, and sometimes not so sweet demon Lilith who can be pretty saucy. I still have the same evol, but some added benefits are super strength/speed. I can take life out of a person as well as give life back to someone, healing them but not without shifting the balance of life. HQ does not know, of my deal with Lilithi. She prefers me keeping it secret.

Ruvaen Blackwater: a middle aged depressed divination wizard. Hes got a child that was kidnapped by some big bad group. He learned divination in order to find his only living blood family left (his mom died in childbirth, his dad is dead, his wife was killed). Hes got issues man idk what else to say.

Anthem Dragonforce: an anarchist drifter bard that’s actually a necromancer but casts spells through music. Hes part of a band that performs anywhere.

Reya Kuroda of the Hammerhead clan: shes cool, really strong and like 6’2”. Shes married to Kuroda Sukey, but ill talk about her later. Shes destroyed many monsters with her various assortment of weapons, mostly made up of hammers and greatswords.

Kuroda Sukey: aka the Star Slicer. Mentored under The Huntsman, the old master of the Long Sword. Married to Reya Kuroda. She treats hunting more as an important ritual rather than sport. Always approaches a monster with the intent of slaying it. Nicknamed the Immortal Samurai for how little times shes been knocked unconscious on hunts.

Jaundice: british champion of galar, and poison type specialist champion of the Champion Challenge in the Southside region. Chubby bassist and owner of the non-homophobic mother. Chill friend of marnie and supportive of her takeover of spikemuth.

This is my oc, Lilly Clawthorne-Whisper. Lilly is a witch that looks up to the hex squad. Her favorite colors are lavender, light pink, and mint (in that order)

Sexual orientation: Pansexual

Personality: She sometimes copies others body language which makes her really good at disguising herself as someone else. She is also kind but not afraid to step up and thinks that she has to stay strong no matter what because she doesn't like to seem weak. She'll say that she's "fine" when she clearly isn't and when things are at the worst then, and only then, will she say what is happening. She also likes to stay organized and needs a schedule in order to do things. She also won't stop on a project until it is finished so if a project takes a long time she will not do anything but that project until it is finished. She also will sometimes have panic attacks when panicked and she won't be able to control her plant or illusion magic

Life: She has a pretty normal life except for the fact that she will worry a lot on a test and if she gets a D+ or lower she will think she isn't good enough. After school she goes to palisman carving class, which is taught by Hunter, Del Clawthorne is the substitute teacher and he also helps Hunter with teaching. After palisman carving class she goes home and does home work than she just relaxes and has fun.

Powers: Lilly can control plants and gets some help from Willow at times, she also is very good at illusion magic and Gus helps her strengthen it. Mimic, her palisman, allows Lilly to easily change her voice and make any disguise convincing

Darius: Lilly is a little closer to him than she is to Alidor (who I head cannon is Darius' partner) even though she was around both of them for the same amount of time

Eda: Lilly loves Eda and actually was adopted by her. Lilly will go to her and Raine first when she needs support

Raine: Lilly feels comfortable around them and loves them and (because Eda adopted Lilly and I head cannon that Eda and Raine are now married) was adopted by them. Lilly will go to them and Eda first when she needs support

King: Lilly thinks King is adorable and loves him, she is always happy when he is around. She actually made him a new stuffed animal

Lilith: Lilly was a little suspicious of Lilith at first but eventually warmed up to her

Mimic: Lilly is closest to her palisman, Mimic, and always tells her things first. Mimic is always around Lilly so if Lilly isn't with her something bad has happened. Mimic has saved Lilly on multiple occasions. Lilly almost froze to death once and Mimic immediately got help which saved Lilly

Camila: Lilly feels very safe around Camila since Camila is an amazinging mother in Lilly's eyes

Vee: Lilly feels comfortable around Vee and learned about basilisks from her

The Collector: Lilly has never met them but knows that his intentions were good but worries that if he comes back he will cause chaos again

Hooty: Lilly thinks he is a little annoying but knows he means well, this doesn't change the fact that she finds him annoying but he doesn't bother her when she is studying or just wants to be left alone

Family: she doesn't know who or where her biological parents are but she lives with Eda and Raine, who are her adoptive parents

Body Language

When Lilly isn't mimicking or copying anyone's body language, this is what her body language looks like.

Arms: She will have her arms crossed loosely when she's not interacting with any thing and when she is calm. When she is uncomfortable or doesn't want to be touched she has her arms crossed tightly. If she is around someone that makes her comfortable or feel safe she won't have her arms crossed (this also happens when she is trying to impress someone)

Legs: When she is hiding something behind her she will have her legs as close to each other without crossing them. When she feels safe or comfortable she will have her legs at a normal space from each other. If she is scared, panicked, or really angry she will be on her knees. She also shakes her leg when uncomfortable, worried, or stressed

Hands: If she is comfortable she will have her hands apart and if they are on her legs, she will tap her fingers on her legs. If she is really angry she will put her hands on top of her head and press a little hard. Sometimes she'll rub her thumb on her hand, mostly when she is stressed, uncomfortable, or just talking

Feet: When she's happy she'll do "happy taps" which is when depending on how happy she is she will tap her feet at a certain speed (more happy=more rapid tapping less happy=less rapid tapping). When she isn't tapping her fingers on something she'll tap her feet especially when she's stressed out or HAS TO move (usually when she is worried or scared)

Eyes: When Lilly talks she finds it hard to keep eye contact so she'll look around with her eyes when speaking. If she is stressed, scared, uncomfortable, worried, or angry she will not be able to make eye contact at all

Voice (yes I am including it): When she is scared or worried her voice will be a lot quieter and will shake a lot. When she is crying she will not be able to speak very well. If she is panicked or overwhelmed she will not be able to speak at all

Day 11: Monster in the Dark

Jumin slapped Yoosung, “You idiot! You could have killed us all!”

“That’s enough Jumin!” Lillie grabbed her husband’s arm, though Yoosung’s tortured look was enough to tell he was beyond caring. Jumin scoffed but turned away, he couldn’t really blame the man, had Lillie been the one outside he might have tried the same thing. Instead he checked the door, making sure all the locks were secured.

Lillie sighed and took Yoosung into her arms.

“She…she’s dead isn’t she?” Yoosung sobbed. He closed his eyes and rocked back and forth, clinging to the brown-haired woman.

“We can’t be certain, but…” she answered, and his body shook. Closing his eyes he clung to her more forcefully.

Saeran glared at the taller raven haired man jaw tight, fists clenched painfully. He took a step forward but Saeyoung grabbed his arm and shook his head, motioning towards Yoosung instead. The tension around his shoulders eased and instead of stepping towards Jumin, he went towards Yoosung.

“I’ll take him.” He whispered to Lillith. She nodded gratefully to him, compassion full in her honey colored eyes. She stood to help Jumin resecure the door. It was all they could do really.

“I’m sorry Saeran, I know I put everyone in danger. I just couldn’t…couldn’t…” he continued to sob but the strength had lessened.

“I know. I wish you’d told me what you were planning.” Saeran soothed, stroking the younger man’s blond head. His amethyst eyes looked up at him with pain beyond measure.

“I didn’t plan anything, my body just…I…damn it I’m so stupid! Why did she do it? Why would she leave like that? Knowing what’s out there! She…she was talking crazy! Saying how she understood that monster. How it was the darkness in all of us finally unleashed! What was wrong with her?”

“I don’t know. But…Yoosung…listen to me.” Saeran took the blond’s face in his hands, amber eyes looking intently into amethyst ones. “You can never, EVER, do that again! If I lose you…” he let the sentence drop as his eyes moistened with unshed tears. “Promise me!”

“I promise, I’m sorry.” Yoosung wrapped his arms around Saeran. Whatever reason Rika had for running into the darkness to meet the monster lurking in it would have to remain a mystery forever. He’d lost her, they all had, he needed to let her go, but it was still incredibly painful.

“We all did what we could for her Yoosung. Honestly, I’m surprised it took her this long to walk out.” Zen crouched next to the couple, laying his hand on the young man’s back. His silver hair was in disarray, as he’d also attempted to protect Yoosung against the ire of Jumin. MC had restrained him easily, using her voice to calm him. Once he’d been calmed, she’d made her way around the living room towards Saeyoung, who also looked demoralized.

His crimson eyes met Jaehee’s dark brown eyes. She reached a hand out towards him and he clutched it, standing and sitting next to her.

Yoosung nodded towards him, grateful for the empathy.

“I’m sorry Yoosung. I lost my temper and took out on you. I should never have struck you like that.” Jumin knelt by the blond, placing his hand on his shoulder sympathetically. “You can’t help someone that doesn’t want to be helped. We did what we could, but losing V was the last straw for Rika. I think she thought there was nothing left for her. She wasn’t thinking about you or anyone else. But Saeran is right, we can’t lose you too. I refuse to let that happen! You have to fight. Not just for yourself, but for all of us too.”

Yoosung grimaced but agreed. The RFA was all that was left of his family. The monster in the darkness had taken everyone else. The only reason they still lived was because Saeyoung had a closed system that kept the lights on and the water running. He also had an underground bunker stocked full of food that he had stockpiled in case of a zombie apocalypse. It worked for this just as well.

Zen and Saeran had also turned a small patch outside into a garden to grow some fruits and vegetables. During the day, if it was sunny, it was safe to venture out, though you had to be wary of any truly dark corners or areas. During their last outing, V had been lost. Rika had gone downhill mentally after that, she had barely been holding on as it was.

Yoosung felt guilty thinking about how grateful he was that it hadn’t been Saeran they had lost. He hugged the red head harder, continuing to cry softly against his shoulder. Jumin stood and gathered his wife into his arms. This was all that was left. And he would protect it to the end!
