Game menu – it will be very valuable part of the game. When you walk the labyrinth. As a rule not big one. This is not action. And more like quest. You walk with arrows. And use minimap. At the bottom. Map is rotating around you. And all the others action you perform with game menu. Space button. All actions are there.
So, I just, recently, has added - item use. This means next. That if in game scene. In point of labyrinth. In cell of labyrinth it is written that you need to use item. And you perform use item. So you make it done. Or – with other case – typical window – nothing.
Window nothing – it is often to appear. When action is not accessible. So it is to appear a window with word – nothing. Standard window. Game with style 80s computers. And some style and some minimalism. This saves time and amount of programming. To not to program every wrong action. You cannot go here. You cannot use item here. Puddle, out of it, it is growing something similar to a hand. And star – project x. This is some human looking kind monster. At the beginning it was image in my head – Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. Monsters in game more for atmosphere. And you simply, cannot go next. And need to shoot at them. Game is more like quest.
