Last Sunday, I posted a reel with some basics on scrying using an obsidian mirror. 🧿🌌 Because repetition is the mother of wisdom, here are some more in-depth tips to go with it: ⁠ ⁠ 1. The right lighting: Make sure the lighting in your scrying space is dim but not too dark. Candlelight 🕯️ or a dim lamp can provide the right level of illumination.⁠ ⁠ 2. Begin with a clear mind: Take a few deep breaths and try to clear your mind of any distractions or worries. This will help you focus.⁠ ⁠ 3. Placement of the mirror: Place the obsidian mirror in front of you at a comfortable distance. You can hold it up to your face or place it on a stand.⁠ ⁠ 4. Focus on the surface: Gaze into the surface of the mirror without focusing on any one point. I call this the soft gaze. you can also try to focus your gaze slightly behind the surface. Allow your eyes to relax and your mind to wander. Blink as needed.⁠ ⁠ 5. Observe any shapes or patterns: You may begin to see shapes or patterns in the mirror or in your mind 🧿, such as clouds, colors, or images. Observe them without trying to interpret them.⁠ ⁠ 6. [Serie Rituales 6/10] Abundancia . . ¡Perdón la tardanza! (Cursar online no es muy agradable) así que ahora les dejo este ritual muy bonito que me gusta mucho para atraer "dinero" y abundancias. Me encanta más la segunda palabra, porque no quiere decir que siempre vaya a buscar o recibir solamente plata... . . Primero, hacé afirmaciones o decretos; es una buena forma de ayudar a que llegue a la abundancia. Podremos hacer todo los rituales del mundo, pero si no estamos listos para recibir la abundancia, no llegará. Por eso es importante ser claro, dejar lo viejo y aceptar lo nuevo... yo suelo decir como mantra: "Dejo lo que ya no me sirve para darle lugar a lo nuevo, las abundancias y las riquezas, materiales o espirituales" cada uno puede armar su propia afirmación, pero debe ser 100% seguridad. Podes prender una vela dorada o plateada, ya que estos colores de velas ayudan un montón a intencionar y potenciar tu afirmación, en mi caso las prendo mientras digo mi propósito. Me gusta mucho que cuando me encuentro monedas en la calle, las levanto sin importarme mucho su valor monetario, ya que siento que rechazaría la abundancia porque no llega de golpe, no siempre... sino en pequeñas manifestaciones. Podes hacerte un corte con un peluquero que hará lo que sea para hacer reír. Un corte estándar cuesta $18 (menor de 12 años) y $19 (adulto). Podes pedir tu paquete de primer corte que incluye un certificado y un sombrero con orejas y sale $25. Despues del corte se puede pedir "pixie-dust" ("polvo de hadas") a su pelo, y muchas veces no solo el que tuvo el corte se va con brillos en la cabeza sino también sus acompañantes!.🌠 También hacen mechones de colores y hasta formas de Mickey en el pelo. When I was a child, I used to beg my mother to read my tarot cards. . Being the Goddess-worshipping, kaftan-wearing, 2nd Wave Feminist that my mother is, she taught me to read on the Motherpeace deck, all Celtic nature goddesses and African bush women in horned crowns. . She would pull the circular cards from a pineneedle basket wrapped in paisley silk and spread them on the floor. I’d run my hands over the golden disks and choose the ones that felt hot in the center of my palms. . Taut with expectation, I’d squirm and stare into my mother’s eyes as she’d whisper, “Now, what is it you know that you don’t remember you know?” . That question is still what I ask when I practice reading cards for myself. . Beyond all the clarity that it can bring, divination is a treat and a pleasure in itself.
