By tapes, do you mean tape girl’s tapes in Help Wanted or the therapy CDs in Security Breach? FNAF is so funny as a series because every FNAF fan runs on a completely separate timeline and headcanons LMFAOOO.

Because it’s hard to tell if Vanessa’s backstory thats in her files is actually her family life or influenced by Glitchtrap in some way because the therapist said that her hacker was accessing the same files she was using. Anyways that’s just me uhhh erm actuallying 💀 but yeah ur right, game!Vanessa is a little bit uhhh fucked up yeah mmhm.

I mean I definitely think movie!Vanessa is our Michael Afton of the movie universe though she also encompasses the ‘Reluctant Follower’ manipulated to kill part of her game counterpart. You could argue she’s all the Afton children in general just to streamline the trauma the story of all the Afton kids into one so it’s more easily told through the medium. I don’t see how Mike would parallel game!Vanessa though, unless he becomes a murder furry /lh

I love any attempt to connect the three star family into the movie universe HAHAJDK though I think if you take the Glamrock Freddy is possessed by Michael Afton route/theory, then Vanessa, Abby, and Michael would be our three star family parallel instead of Golden Freddy. I love me some good wholesome found family *stares nervously at the undead rabbit man*

I take the fnaf 2 phone calls (first night specifically) as implying the 87 location is the first to have walking/freeroam animatronics, at the very least the first to let them leave stage while open

Foxy go go go is generally seen as before that, being in '85 location most likely. So it's fun to imagine that the foxy running is just a guy in a suit who's about to have a terrible day

The hardest part about adding vanny (and security breach as a whole) is that my version of William isn't nearly as determined to kill kids as canon, I think the first dip in old man consequences' lake wouldve stopped him. BUT! He STILL hates fazbear ent, so now I'm imagining that instead of possessing Vanny to kill kids, his ghost(?) just tries to convince her to try and close the place down. Causing mechanical failures and breakdowns and such. I think that'd be fun ^v^!!

Ffffreddy. Spoilers. Yeah

Watching that movie in a theater full of fans was such an experience. Like…. Watching the eras tour movie with swifties felt like community. Like everyone was in sync (cause it was a concert movie but Yknow.) The people in the Freddy movie were enthusiastic but. In a different way. And the teens next to me complaining the whole time are my enemies. Go away if you’re not having fun.

AS FOR THE MOVIE ITSELF. THANK GOD IT WAS GOOD. THANK GOD I HAD SUCH A FUN TIME WITH IT. Matpat being in the movie for a single minute and saying “that’s just a theory” before disappearing was ethereal in a way I can’t really describe if you weren’t here for all that. It was glorious. The animatronics looked great. The gore was moderate but tasteful. I love murder. I love how Vanessa’s here even though she’s from the glamrock era and she’s an afton child. Love how none of the game afton children are in the movie. The actor for William did such a good job but I think we all know he would. It was still so good to see. I love murder and I love Williams kind of death. His maiming. Abby is a darling I’m happy she’s here. I love how we could sing kumbaya with the animatronics if even for a little while. No one likes balloon boy and that makes me happy. Oh my god I love five nights at Freddy’s oohh my god. Good movie would watch again

Security Breach Nightly Lullaby Au Story Remake

Thanks to you Scott. I've waited nine years for a movie and came back to my old phase!

Okay so I wanna remake a character who is Sun/Moon in my au. He is like Vanessa but his name is Solis. Lol

Here's his new backstory. It's rewritten. The old is bad because I don't want him goofy. I didn't want him to be a security guard because it didn't work...

Solis Backstory: Solis grew up as a theatre kid. His Drama teacher and his parents known him as a fun cartoony kid and his love for theatre has made him grown into a fun and joyful person.

Overtime in his life. Solis was having a hard time with his mental health and how unmotivated he became when it came to theatre.

His parents really had hopes up and wanted to take him to collage. even though he was having a hard time he applied and got in.

Making him feel more happier. After graduating in the fine arts.

He started looking for jobs that could help him out of debt. He soon found the Pizza Plex and took the job in performance in the daycare theatre. Seeing it as his new home

A year later, the daycare was finished. Giving him an opportunity to hang out with the kids. Help them with coloring, making sure there's no injury. And trying to get down a slide.

He was seen as a really funny performer and everyone loved his performance. After awhile of being wealthy and happy.

The Pizza Plex went downhill from there. Solis was acting off for weeks after he got a small zap on his head after trying to help a technician.

People reported him passing out in front of the children, developed hot flashes, and would look as if he hasn't slept.

There was reports that in the employees room he would talk to himself and start crying out of nowhere. Especially he gets random panic attacks in front of other employees.

Yet. The head of the Plex didn't do anything. He Only told him to throw away the face paint and make him wear a mask to see if he'll get better that way. Yet things never got better after that.

After awhile when Glamrock Freddy shut down and everything went haywire. Solis was no longer in control of his own body when he was in the role of Moon.

Taking many young lives in the darkness. When the lights came on. Solis realized what happened.

Feeling afraid of himself and hid away in the Plex away from the daycare. Running away from the mess he made.

Not wanting to clean it up. Running with blood on his hands. Being possessed by a man. haunting his head when the lights are off.

This au is if instead of Vanny. Moon takes the role as the villain who is after Gregory.

Security Breach Headcannons

A/n: these are just thoughts that came into my head the more I think about the characters in the game or at least the main four, I'm sure these are actually pretty decent compared to what I saw on other platforms. Like, when I was just browsing for fnaf content I saw quite a few content creators bashing certain characters in security breach like Monty or Vanessa and I know it shouldn't make me feel bad but like... They were straight up violent with the way they described them so I just want to get away from that and spread some positivity... Or at least the little bit of it that I have, anyways sorry to post this late, here you go!

Freddy visits the daycare often to chat with Sundrop/Sunrise/Sun and interact with the the kids.

Freddy likes to make dad jokes from time to time but sometimes they don't land and he gets all huffy about it.

When no one's looking Freddy likes to play around the merchandise in the prize counters, he think they're neat.

When Freddy was first built he had a problem with getting cake jammed in his hatch so they had to resort to smaller cakes.

He likes to memorize the faces of the children he performs for, it makes him smile when he sees them come back to the Pizzaplex.

Freddy can't whistle properly dye to having fangs and not teeth like the old animatronics.

He likes to complement fanart no matter how bad the quality is, he thinks it's nice that someone went out of their way to draw him.

Montgomery Gator

Monty and GR!Bonnie actually get along great with eachother despite the popularity situation, they just hate being compared to each other.

The only reason Monty takes his anger out by trashing his room is because it reminds him too much of what he has to live up to despite being the "popular" animatronic.

Monty loves kids, although he's nervous to actually interact with them due to his aggressive nature.

Monty was originally supposed to play the drums but after an accident they decided he should play something more durable.

Glamrock Chica

GR!Chica actually takes her music career seriously despite how she can't sing well.

None of the Chicas like eachother and that's a damn fact, but GR!Chica just wants to rock out despite the conflict.

Since Chica's beak got broken, once they put it back on it wasn't as tightly attached as it used to be. Because of this every now and again she would twitch her beak out of sensitivity.

Chica loves to play DDR because it's fun to stop around without being told off for it.

Roxanne Wolf

Roxanne actually wanted to play the keyboard due to their original concept being a rock band but after some changes she got a keytar instead and she's pretty okay with it.

When given the time, Roxanne likes to watch beauty channels and listen to all of the drama online.

Despite being an animatronic Roxanne just can't help but howl at the moon sometimes (Moondrop sadly is a witness to this behavior).

Roxanne likes to take a bit of inspiration from movies like Mean Girls and Legally Blonde because she thinks it boost her confidence.

After the bombshell that the new story with of The Tales of The PizzaPlex with Gregory dropped out of fucking nowhere, I decided to rewrite my AU Security Breach timeline.

(Not sure what year Security Breach takes place but I want to say 2023 after the events of FNaF 6 and in between Help Wanted and after Freddy and Bonbon have Kaley but I could be off)

Reggie Miller, one of Hank’s old friends, wants to make a mall and pizzeria all in one so he asks Freddy himself if he, his dad, Henry and Michael would be interested.

Freddy says it’s too sudden, plus Henry wouldn’t be okay with, but Henry thought otherwise: He thinks that a new generation of humanoids wouldn’t be a bad idea, but Henry agreed with Freddy, saying that he’s trying to put the whole deal of the past behind them.

Michael and Hank agree also but seeing how Reggie knew about their deal with William so he says he will start with a small, but still fun pizzeria for the new generation to enjoy. Freddy, Hank, Henry and Michael eventually agreed, and everyone was satisfied. The first Freddy Fazbear’s Mega PizzaPlex was in the works, and everyone was on board, even the mayor herself.

Freddy hires his Glamrock counterpart, Frederic Frazier (our favorite himbo dad, Glamrock Freddy) after seeing how much Frederic has grown up from that shy, lonely kid to a total outgoing guy (he’s kind of a bit jealous of his new version lol).

Meanwhile, Valerie Anderson, a 17-year-old e-girl, begins to research everything she now knows about a mysterious white rabbit mask wearing lady that goes by the name of “Vanny” and immediately assumes the worst thing possible; her older sister, Vanessa, could be this serial killer.

Freddy hires a Glamrock version of Bonnie, Chica and Foxy named Bonito Cottontail (Glamrock Bonnie), Chicarella Chickamoto (Glamrock Chica) and Finn Fisher (Glamrock Foxy). After hiring them, Reggie tells Freddy that they are making Glamrock versions of his daughter, Poppy and her friends.

Freddy is excited for the project, especially with the fact the Playtime toys deserve the love they didn’t get back then, so he was really glad that Reggie has gave them a chance. The Playtime toys are thrilled, but Poppy on the other hand was not on board with that announcement.

Valerie has nightmares about her sister being Vanny and trying to kill her. Meanwhile, Vanessa herself feels like she’s being watched at work. Luis, her friend and crush) asks her out for a coffee break to help Vanessa take her mind of things that have been troubling her.

Vanny (aka Vanya “Vanessa” Anton) is still being “trained” by her master, Glitchtrap William Afton (note: go watch Nightcove the Fox’s Vanessa: Into Madness movie on YouTube, I highly recommend it, even tho I’m a Vanessa and Vanny are separate people believer).

William orders Vanny to go steal some blank blueprints. Vanny was really hesitant about it, but William forced her to do it cuz if she didn’t, she would “regret it” sooner or later. So later that night, Vanny broke into Henry’s workshop and stole some blank blueprints.

Freddy hires two newcomers named Montgomery Gator and Roxanne Wolf. Music Man offered his stepson to follow in his footsteps but as a DJ to "hip" with the kids.

Meanwhile, Vanny successfully brings William’s Elizabeth back to life, but she looks older (she dresses like a stripper I'm really sorry) than the real Elizabeth by having a heart pendant choker that transforms her to her own sona, Babydoll. The pendant also helps her transform into anything else she pleases to trick her victims.

Freddy hires two brothers, Sunni “Sunnydrop” Stardust and his twin brother, Moon “Moondrop” Stardust as the new daycare attendants for the Superstar Daycare as Sunni loves to work with kids (and because their famous mother, Stella Stardust, was a daycare attendant herself after she moved to Earth in 1989 before creating the twins).

Meanwhile, a young boy named Gregory feels neglected and hated by the orphanage he lives at. As he was finally done dealing with the other kids who pick on him for liking everything that had to do with the Fazbears, and the adults who work there and didn’t believe him when he told them about the other kids picking on him cuz they call him a troublemaker, Gregory packed up what was left of his belongings, snacks and stuff to defend himself and left the orphanage.

Freddy finally gets to rest with his wife, Bonbon and their kids, Poppy, Issac, Felicity and Kaley by going to Pizza Planet (The Return of the King). Unfortunately, Fazbear Entertainment resurfaces themselves again after the failure of their AR game. Now Hamilton Andrews is back and this time, he plans to take over the PizzaPlex (basically pissing everyone off even more).

The Glamrock versions of the Playtime toys were finally created by as animatronics cuz they cannot recreate the actual toys (cuz of reasons). The PizzaPlex begins to start construction, but unfortunately, the construction team decided to build the PizzaPlex on top of the Freddy Fazbear’s Rocking Pizza Place that Henry burnt down to kill William.

Meanwhile, Clara returns with her old Ballora body and is found by Elizabeth and William during Vanny's first kill mission.

Vanessa goes to therapy to talk about her past about her mother and why she left her and her sister to deal with their father, Bill. The therapist asks her about all the things Vanny was doing, causing Vanessa to be uncomfortable but confused. Meanwhile, Gregory starts his journey off to a good start. Elizabeth kills Vanessa’s first therapist.

The PizzaPlex is almost finished, causing William to hear the news about it so he makes Vanny make a new costume for her cuz he told her that her mask was old and that she needed a new look to hide her identity. Meanwhile, Vanessa meets her new therapist and seems pretty weirded out by her. Clearly Vanessa thinks something is wrong.

Right before the PizzaPlex opens up, Vanny, now with her new fursuit and mask, begins to camp out inside one of the rooms in Fazer Blast. A little does she or anyone else know, Gregory was also hiding in the PizzaPlex as well.

The PizzaPlex opens up their doors and everyone is excited. Everyone loved the games, food and friendly staff (except that Dave guy lol), but mostly the mascots. Reggie felt like a proud papa, but suddenly, just after a few days, things already get to go down south from there.

The AR Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy animatronics gets stolen, more and more of Vanessa’s therapists go missing and got killed, Freddy gets stabbed by a random woman (Elizabeth pretending to be a homeless woman), Fazbear Entertainment fires Reggie and Hamilton took charge, resulting the PizzaPlex.

Vanny builds William four new and improved (just evil and fucked up) versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy to fulfill William’s vision of Freddy since day one. However, while still being the Freddy William wanted, Dark Freddy falls in love with Elizabeth, due to William’s disbelief (lol get dunked on, you old fart, your daughter is now Dark Freddy’s girlfriend).

Months later, Freddy and his family go to Freddy Fazbear’s Mega PizzaPlex and notices something wrong right away.

What really pissed off Freddy was the fact Fazbear Entertainment got rid of the Playtime Glamrocks and replaced them with their new star, Glamrock Woody, who was originally Scrap Woody that Henry made to stop William, who Woody nicknamed him “Scraps”, but unfortunately Scraps was burned after he tried to kill Poppy before Cassidy sacrificed herself to save Poppy. How Fazbear Entertainment got their hands on the corpse of Scraps and reprogrammed him to be Glamrock Woody was a mystery.

Later that afternoon in Gator Golf, Bonito tells Monty that he’s done with being in Bonnie’s place and wants Monty to take the role after Foxas left after he thinks he was getting replaced by Roxanne. Monty tried to disagree with Bonito but the catwalk under Bonito fell underneath him and he was killed on site. Monty blames himself for Bonito's death. It turns out Vanny, controlled by Afton, killed Bonito as she ordered the STAFF Bots to take his body.

Soon the PizzaPlex started to fall apart. The parents were tired of Fazbear Entertainment ruining everything, the kids were forced to like Glamrock Woody cuz if they didn’t, they would have Security Bots be called on them and some of the areas were either broken or are planned to be replaced by a Woody themed area. All Fazbear Entertainment Wanted was Woody to be the star, not the Humanoid Glamrocks.

Glamrock Woody, outside from his “programing” feels really horrible of treating his new friends poorly but he knew he seen that coming. The Mega PizzaPlex was never the same after that again. Later that night, Freddy gets awakened by Vanny as she stabs him in the gut and kidnaps Poppy.

Freddy wakes up and sets off to find her while Michael got all of the stuff to stop his dad once and for all. Freddy, along with Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Goldie, Bonbon and their other kids, the toys and the Afton kids, enter the PizzaPlex disguised as a janitor (Freddy), a mechanic (Goldie) and security guards (Michael, Elizabeth and Evan) so nobody can see them.

Vanessa, who was hired by Fazbear Entertainment for no reason, gets alerted that a child with no record is inside the PizzaPlex. She immediately thought of those missing kids that went missing over the past few months after the PizzaPlex opened up, so she sets off to find the kid, knowing that he cannot be the last.

The Glamrocks begin their concert with a bang, but Frederic collapsed on stage and had to be checked out. The mall closed after everyone left and Vanny begins to have some “fun”.

Frederic wakes up after collapsing and meets Gregory. Frederic wants to help the kid out, so he asks Gregory to let him out. Gregory, now seeing that he’s trustworthy, frees Frederic from his greenroom.

After Frederic takes him to a first-aid station, Vanessa finds the both of them, but she just wants to help Gregory get him (basically, Vanessa here is like the one we hear from the trailers). Vanessa calls her friend, Glamrock Goldie, who is actually Cassidy, who’s now free from her old shell after she died, to help Vanessa get Gregory out of the PizzaPlex before closing time.

Unfortunately, the PizzaPlex closes its doors and Gregory is trapped. Fortunately, Vanessa can still help him escape the PizzaPlex.

(So basically, my Security Breach is basically from what we saw from the trailers with some parts from the final game (like the Daycare part or the chase scene with Monty, Roxanne and Chica) but with a lot of my own story. The ending is obviously the Burntrap ending but it ends on a cliffhanger for the DLC.)

To everyone at my showing of the FNAF movie who dressed up: you guys are the coolest. We had a Puppet, a Glamrock Chica, a Roxy, the main three, a bunch of people in casual FNAF merch, it was insane. Everyone was there for a great time and the theater was so fucking joyful I have never been happier. Spoilers under the cut.

The scooper? Okay not the scooper but the fucking Face Eviscerator 9000? Has to be a scooper analogue. Hello!!! We can tell it's some sort of murder device but William has a KNIFE why would he need that unless he needed to make his victims feel agony for remnant. Ah well, it's trapped in the secret back room with him for the next thirty years so who cares.

I don't care if it's not a perfect analogue to canon. Because I didn't want that. I wanted a FNAF but reduxed and made for the general populace. Maybe this is even the original plot for the games, an unrelated Michael or something.

Regardless, Garrett is Puppet now, change my mind, give gifts give life.

Also not sure if it's true but the end credits said "come find me"?

I’ve been writing fanfic for a hot minute but this is the first one I’m posting here on Tumblr.

It’s for my FNAF SB AU, Memento Mori. Vanny and Vanessa are different people here, but they’re partners in crime. They’re not blood related also, this isn’t twin theory it’s more like the pre-release interpretations.

Also my animatronic OC is mentioned for like a few lines but he doesn’t feature majorly. Same with some staff characters.

Warning for some implied internalized ableism

They were throwing one of their stupid, stupid parties today.

Vanessa knew what the occasion was. They’d only said it over the intercom and in the emails about a dozen times; We’re approaching the 6 years anniversary of the Freddy Fazbear’s Mega PizzaPlex’s opening! To celebrate, we will be holding a party at the location after hours, there will be food and drinks, be ready to see the animatronics, make sure to dress appropriately…

Of course, there were things they’d kept as hush quiet as possible, likely to avoid someone showing it somewhere and getting them in legal trouble, such as the fact that they were charging people to attend, and yet that attendance was required if you were a fan of keeping your job.

The first several, many times they had pulled things like this, she had been enraged. By now, she no longer cared, and just scoffed to herself as she looked in at her reflection in the bathroom.

She’d decided to have fun with it, at least. The suit she was wearing– How she loved it, it was sharp and tidy and made her look far more polished than any dress ever did– had been cleaned and ironed thoroughly, and she was glad to see it still fit her perfectly, as it had since her prom. It’d made attending the event worth it back then, and she hoped would make this stupid party a little more bearable.

Her makeup seemed fine, too. There was no hiding her freckles, but she at least could appreciate how black lipsticks and eyeshadows looked against her porcelain skin, how they made her features stand out better.

It gave her an ominous, dark look that she was sure kept some people from talking to her, like those raven-women one would see in movies and series. That was good. She wasn’t interested in their shallow conversations, in their attempts to get to know her as, at best, an empty urge to be polite.

She looked just how she wanted to.

Now, she just needed to stop checking this.

There’s no point in it anyways. I don’t know why I bother.

Giving a dismissive shrug to the woman in the mirror, she turned and walked out.

Not even three steps out of the bathroom, she was met by neon lights, music blasting, and people walking to and fro as they talked, sang, and complained. She could hear soft steps, the louder tap of some formal shoes, and the quiet, annoying humming and whirring of the animatronics’ systems.

Glancing around as she dodged people and ignored whoever it was that had just said her name, she could see why.

Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, and Glamrock Bonnie were greeting the general public, talking about something that was quickly disregarded by her ears, probably the establishment’s history or simply stupid tales about their lives. They reminded her of people that way, going on and on about nothing, demanding attention and sharing far too many details that made her want them to shut up.

Melody was somewhere across the room– closer to where she was than she liked, which she quickly aimed to correct– hanging on to Roxanne’s arm, and they were with a pair of humans.

The first human with them had dust brown skin and curly hair, and was carefully watching Melody with that pitiful, pitiful look they always held on their face. It could almost make her laugh, to see someone who was always looking so tired and even sad. One could wonder why, but in her eyes? Wondering wasn’t worth the time.

The other human was a tall man, who had actually come to bother her with Luis a few times. What was his name again? Something with M, with a foreign pronunciation… right. Manuel. His laugh was deep and grating, she could hear it from here, and his makeup was much like Roxanne’s, not that it flattered either of them.

Roxanne had her scratch-on-chalkboard voice, and all those attempts to make herself look cool, straighten her back, whip her hair and pretend her confidence wouldn’t be destroyed if any of the people she was with were to criticize her.

And Melody?

Oh, how insufferable he was. Even as she stepped back, she could see every single idiotic quirk that grinded her nerves about him. His foot tapped incessantly, the volume of his voice was painfully quiet to the point she couldn’t even hear him from here, he kept shifting his weight around, side to side, he was looking elsewhere rather than at the people he was with, and- was he wearing headphones? Of course he was. Of course he damn was. No way the little princess would just sit here and handle the music like everyone else, was there? He’d probably made a sad face until one of the humans he was with surrendered their own.

She must have been staring harder than she’d thought, because after a long moment, the animatronic turned in her direction, seemingly having noticed her eyes on him. And there must have been something in her eye, because his smile quickly faded, his position changed into something nervous and off-put, and he quickly moved to hide behind Roxanne.

Deciding she was done fixating on this, she walked away right as the people with him noticed her. It wasn’t worth getting into an argument over.

So, polished black shoes clicked through checkered tile, lit by the colorful, glaring neon lights. She kicked some confetti away, and kept her attention on that, only paying enough mind to her surroundings to ensure she wouldn’t stumble into anyone. The song that played right now was pounding on her ears, but she tried to ignore that.

No one would talk to someone so clearly closed off, so clearly unpleasant. She’d stopped trying to pretend now. She was one of those stone-faced women in the movies now, except not in a glamorous, sexy way, but in a way that made people feel disgusted. That had been her for years now.

And she’d grown old enough to be fine with that.

No one would talk to her, except for maybe the marketing boy that couldn’t seem to take a hint. She needed to put a special effort into avoiding him, she remembered.

Her head lifted in alarm, and she looked around, searching for any possible threat of discomfort. Nothing, she could see nothing, they were judging her, not pitying her, it was fine-

“NESSIE!”

She paused, and looked around in disconcert, finally processing the familiar nickname said by the wrong voice.

There were two rapid taps to her shoulder, and she whipped around, damn near ready to swing a punch at whoever had the guts to touch her.

Only to then stare at a familiar animatronic, staring at her with an amused, questioning look on their face.

“...Heya.” There was a half-laugh, and that face, painted two shades of blue and framed by long white hair, craned up slightly to look at her, “Earth calling to Nessie! Everything okay over here?”

“...Ivie?”

“Well, duh,” The animatronic talked just like her dearest one, but in that low, raspy voice, and lifted a hand, tapping ‘his’ own head, “Of course. We’d have bigger problems if it weren’t me.”

“Are you unhinged?” Incredulous didn’t quite cut how Vanessa felt right now, “What in the world are you doing? Why isn’t Sunnydrop in control? Why in the world would you approach me?”

“Sunny is sleeping, because they stayed up until the crack of dawn yesterday. And what’s wrong with me being with my favorite girl? I thought you’d be happier to see me.”

The affectionate words, said in that voice, made something painful and acidic rise up her throat. She swallowed it down, and decided to reprimand.

“You’re going to blow our entire cover. Everyone knows the Daycare Attendant, especially the Moon version, doesn’t like me.”

There was a small ‘pfft’, and an eye roll, “Do you really think anyone cares? C’mon, Nessie. No one’s watching. No one gives a hell about what Moony does. We’re fine.”

“I… I guess. Fine.”

“You don’t sound happy about that.”

She couldn’t help it. She just made an uncertain face, and tried to push down that strange, sickly feeling in her stomach.

The animatronic, no one else would guess otherwise, seemed to think for a moment, “...Is it the voice?”

“What?”

“Do you not like me talking in his voice? I can’t do anything about the face. But would it be better if I talked in my own voice?”

Vanessa shook her head, “It’s fine. That’d be completely ridiculous. You’re already risking it just by being with me.”

“We can go somewhere else. Bet you no one’s going to come looking.”

Whether she liked to admit it or not, this sounded very, very tempting. And clearly, Ivie knew this, with the way her- remote control toy leaned forward and gave her a little grin. She glared back, which only got her a soft head tilt in response.

“You’re ridiculous,” She sighed.

“Is that a yes or a no?”

Without another word, Vanessa took the liberty to grab the animatronic’s arm, and start leading them away from the crowd and the voices, to which Ivie soon had them follow, with a small skip to their step, swinging Vanessa’s hand slightly as they walked together.

Eventually, they came to a darker, quieter spot, where most people didn’t hang around or even glance towards, probably because there were no snacks, and the music was muffled. The latter wasn’t a downside for her, however. It was nice to get a break.

She stuck a chip she’d snatched off one of the tables into her mouth, and glanced back at the… morbid… thing.

Ivie was acting as she usually would, adding to the dissonance. She moved her puppet in front of her, hopped back a step, then held out its hands, “Okay! Watch this.”

With this, the animatronic’s hand came to knock at his own chest, and he made a noise which Vanessa could assume was Ivanna trying to have him clear his throat. It sounded the most like he was glitching, and if it weren’t because nothing else seemed wrong, she really would have wondered if Ivie just broke him.

“Hellooo!” A new voice called out of that mouth, familiar and comforting, with its light, angelically high sound.

The horrible feelings fading the slightest bit, as long as she didn’t look at the animatronic directly, Vanessa couldn’t help but find herself starting to feel curious, “...How… are you even doing that? I don’t see any reason why these machines should be able to play external audio through their voice boxes.”

They stared at her for a moment, then went limp and looked down, then simply shrugged. When she continued, it was still in that voice, like that of a joyful spirit.

“I don’t know, honestly! I just started poking around the parts of the system I have access to. I opened a thing here, I followed a little rabbit hole from there, a pop-up showed up and I accepted it, then another one and I accepted that too, and then I talked and heard my voice through the screen. Neat, right?”

Vanessa stared back.

On one side, she could certainly facepalm at how easily Ivie could have ruined everything doing whatever she did. On the other side, it was clear she’d just been finding any way to entertain herself, and that smile was almost adorable.

“I can’t believe you.” She finally responded.

“Well, you’d better believe me!” The animatronic gestured to itself.

“I can’t leave you unwatched for even 1 day. Incredible. This is going on the ‘Ivie being insane’ list. I’m going to have to reorganize it and all.”

Vanessa put in a specific effort to make her tone and expression completely deadpan, and felt the slightest bit rewarded when this earned her Ivie’s laugh. It was slightly rough and hearty, and filled her heart to the brim.

Ivie’s laughter cut into some small giggles, before the puppet shrugged, “You can always count on me to give you an interesting day!”

Then, however, it slowly dropped, and Vanessa had a softly concerned look directed at her.

“...And to get you out of places where you’re not comfortable. I want to ask, are you okay? You were covering your ears pretty hard back there.”

She very, very hurriedly shook her head, “Of course I am. It’s not that bad. I’ve had worse.”

“Alriiight… We can go farther from the speakers if you need, do remember that.”

“I don’t need that- But-” She sighed, “Thank you. I do guess I like it better here. So now, let me ask…”

“Yes?” Ivie’s voice came, slightly confused, but willing to listen and answer, paired with a head tilt.

“Why did you come approach me? You know it’s risky.”

The puppet looked away, and shifted its weight slightly, crossing its arms, “...Well, it gets lonely where I’m staying, you know? I can read, I can watch stuff, I can plan things, but I don’t really have anyone to be with.”

In hindsight, it should have been obvious. But Vanessa still found herself making to say something, before letting Ivie continue speaking instead.

“I just wanted to be with you. And I figured this would be a half-decent way to do it. I… promise I’m trying to be careful. I know it’s a bit dumb, but-”

“It’s not dumb.” Vanessa shook her head, “I don’t know how I didn’t realize. It should have been obvious.”

“It’s okay! I know there’s not a lot we can do about it.”

“Maybe. But… I’ll go see you once everyone’s gone. Would that be of help?”

“...Yes.” It gave her a gentle smile, much like Ivie’s, always like Ivie’s, “Yes, it would.”

Ivie noticed her stare, it seemed, and walked up until she was right in front of her. And so, they stared at each other for a long moment. She couldn’t quite stay in place, and her foot moved on the floor, resisting the urge to tap. Ivie probably was moving where she was, but in front of her, stayed still.

After a good several seconds, any leftover uncomfortable feelings Vanessa held started to fade to pure questioning.

Then, Ivie giggled, poked her, and backed up again, making her raise her eyebrow.

“What was that?” Vanessa didn’t get it.

“You’re cute when you’re confused.”

This got her to feel almost insulted, though she knew, deep inside, she didn’t really mind. Especially not seeing the look on Ivie’s face as she continued to examine her expression.

After a moment, she scoffed, “Dork.”

“Dorker.”

“That’s not a real word.”

“You’re no fun.” Ivie gave her an icy mock-glare, which she wasn’t impressed by, then dropped it and grinned, “Anyways, what were you doing until now? Because it seemed like you’ve been just trying to glare people to death for the past hour.”

“For how long were you following me?”

“I was trying to catch your attention!”

She rolled her eyes, “...I wasn’t doing anything interesting. I was just trying to avoid people. You know how I feel about them all.”

“I could tell. You gave Melody a good scare.”

“He deserved that much. He’s fucking annoying.”

Now Ivie’s mouth opened into a lightly confused look, “Really? I’ve always thought he was really cute.”

“I don’t know what it is about him. I just can’t stand him. I can’t wait for when we get to him, maybe then I’ll be able to tell him to bother me as little as possible.”

“Well, I-”

Ivie suddenly paused, and stared ahead. Her expression shifted slightly, but Vanessa couldn’t tell what was up. At least, not until Ivie spoke, mumbling as quietly as she could to herself, softly placing a hand on her chest.

“Oh, Moony- Shhh, shhh, no… I can’t say much, but I can say Melody’s going to be okay for a while. We’re not going after him any time soon. Don’t freak out on me, okay?”

Vanessa stared at her- No, no, at her puppet- Suddenly having those horrid feelings weigh back on her. She hated these moments. They made her want to crawl out of her skin.

“Do they- Does it… talk to you?” She tried asking, putting a mental distance.

“...I don’t think you’ll like the answer to that, Nessie.”

She looked down at the ground, and messed with the decorative buttons on her suit. Her throat felt dry, yet like something wanted to rise. Her face felt hot, in a bad way. Her expression wasn’t much different from usual, but her hands were unsteady.

Ivie noticed this, and the moon-puppet-thing looked at her in concern. It made a pose as if thinking, then Ivie had it snap its fingers, and it spoke up again, “Hey… How about you go get yourself some more snacks? Maybe a drink? And save some chips for when you come see me, pretty please?”

“Sure- Sure.” Vanessa nodded, hurriedly, as she adjusted her suit and started to walk past her and away, “I can do that.”

“Great! See you in a minute, then.”

“...Yeah. I’ll be back. See you.”

A Special Purpose

Got this stuck in my head the other night. It’s not long enough for ao3, and I’m not sure I want to continue it, but I figured I might as well share it here. A bit of a twist on the animatronic!Gregory theory, which I know nothing about save for that it exists.

Ever since the first day he opened his eyes, Gregory had been told he’d been built for a very special purpose. 

The Glamrocks needed children, they had explained. They were made to play, to entertain, to coddle. But at night, when the pizzaplex was closed, all the children went home. And that made the Glamrocks sad. Since they couldn’t keep random kids in the pizzaplex—the logistics of doing so were apparently more inconvenient than any laws preventing them from… acquiring some—they made one. 

A child just for the Glamrocks, one who would never leave, who they didn’t need to be overly careful with, who was like them. 

Gregory didn’t think it was a very special purpose, but it wasn’t like anyone asked him. It seemed some people agreed with his silent opinion, though, like how their technicians used to talk about him like he was the Glamrocks’s pet. He actually thought it was kinda funny, since he was the human animatronic. 

He mentioned it once to Monty, who didn’t think it was funny at all, and he must have said something because Gregory never saw those technicians again and all the rest looked a little bit afraid of Gregory after that. 

Don’t get him wrong, just because he didn’t think it sounded special didn’t mean he disliked his purpose. He loved his family, and the pizzaplex, and even some of the employees who treated him well. He got to do whatever he wanted during the day, be it recharging or playing with other kids, and he had the Glamrocks’ undivided attention after hours. 

By design, Gregory was never satisfied with being bored. He frequently helped out in the daycare—if parents asked, they were told he was the child of one of the human attendants—and the bowling alley. He wasn’t supposed to play Fazer-Blast or Monty Golf with humans, because his aim was too good and he didn’t know how to fake it being bad, and no one was supposed to know that he was an animatronic. 

He creeped a lot of the employees out. He knew he did, since some of them avoided him, others whispered behind his back, apparently forgetting that he had superior hearing, and a rare few treated him like a machine. As if he didn’t feel things.

Visually, Gregory was nearly indistinguishable from a human child. His synthetic skin was kept warm to the touch and had accurate elasticity. He could eat and cry. His hair was real and his freckles perfectly painted on.

But there were other things he had to be careful about. No roughhousing with humans because he was too strong. No letting humans try to pick him up because he was too heavy. And no joining movie nights or going to the daycare during nap time because his gold-brown eyes glowed just a bit too much in the dark. 

And never, ever take off his shirt. Concealed beneath it was a line of ports and seams that would give up his secret faster than anything else. 

Not everyone on the staff knew the truth about him. Most didn’t, in fact. But those who’d been around when he was built had been told. It’d reassured them about something, though Gregory hadn’t been told what. And there were a few others who’d been hired since who had to be told for one reason or another. 

Like Vanessa. 

Gregory peeked into her security office early into her shift. His family were still recharging after their long day, and it wasn’t even eleven yet. The pizzaplex closed at ten on Fridays, and Vanessa got here at 10:30. 

He liked Vanessa. She knew he wasn’t human—how else could they explain the child who lived in the pizzaplex—but she’d never treated him differently for it. She listened to him when he needed to talk about human stuff, things that his family couldn’t understand. 

Like how, sometimes, he almost felt human, and he didn’t think that was supposed to happen.

But that wasn’t what he was there for tonight. 

“Vanessa?” he said quietly. He could move silently and had spooked more than one person because of it. Great for when he wanted to prank people; not great when he didn’t. 

She looked up from her tablet with a smile. “Hey, little man. What’s up? The others still in recharge?” 

“Yeah. But…” He shuffled into her office. “I think something’s wrong.” 

Setting the tablet aside, she spun her chair to face him. “Are you okay?” 

“I’m fine, it’s just… y’know how I have super good hearing?” 

Vanessa nodded. 

He bit his lip. He was scared right now. Scared. What kind of robot got scared? 

“Gregory?” She stood up and came over to kneel in front of him. “I promise to listen to you, okay? What’s got you spooked?” 

“I heard screaming,” he whispered, goosebumps raising across his synthetic skin. “From the basement, I think.” 

Vanessa straightened up. “Screaming?” she repeated. Not doubtfully. Worried. “Like someone was in pain?”

Gregory nodded. “It sounded like a kid.”

Headcanons - Possible AUs- FNAF:SB!Writer

I do plan to work more on the FNAF: SB AU for Writer, but for now, here are some of my vague ideas since I haven’t completed the game yet (FNAF!Writer does not currently exist for RPs, so interactions with FNAF characters are currently with their mainverse):

FNAF!Writer is a Night Guard- and parental/guardian figure to Gregory, the kid from Security Breach.

FNAF!Writer was known for racing with the forklifts with their best friend, Mike (friend’s OC).

They have a strong friendship with Freddy Fazbear, Roxanne Wolf, Glamrock Chica, and most of the security guard ‘bots.

They have a tentative friendship with Moondrop and Montgomery Gator.

They work the same shift as Vanessa 24/7, and have suspicions that the other uses the entertainment center for... Less-than-legal things (murder).

They’ve gone down to the daycare on more than one occasion to help clean things up after a long day.

Writer does not have the legal right to carry a gun (Vanessa does in this AU, so instead of a baton...) they carry a few knives, instead.

They try to spend a few hours with each of the animatronics each night- if for no other reason than to give them all company.

Jokes have been made about Writer loving animatronics a bit too much (think jokes of kissing the animatronics and whatnot, those that are of-age) during the day shift, hence why they now only work on the night shift (which didn’t help the jokes, but at least they don’t have to hear them anymore).

Writer has brought gifts for the animatronics on each of their build-dates (birthdays) for a few years, now.

They started working at the entertainment center as a kitchen cook, then got upgraded to night staff after asking management for a transfer.

There are times where Writer will have ‘movie nights’ with the animatronics (each time, another animatronic gets to pick the movie).

They tend to treat their shifts like very, very chill hangouts, pretty much.

The few times Writer has caught a kid at the entertainment center after hours, they let the kid stick with them for a little while until they can get one of the animatronics to figure out the kid’s phone number, where they live, or call the police to report a missing child at the center.

This AU for Writer would become canon if I ever add any characters from the Security Breach game to this blog, buuuut we’ll see. Needa complete the game, first... XD

Security Breach: Tainted Madness ~ Part 3

Scotty, Glamrock Freddy and Sunny were sitting in the Playground area, it was 5:56AM and it was almost time to go. Scotty had a important thing he has to do after his shift every day.

When his mother, Jane, walked out of his life, his dad's brother Rob became his guardian. Rob was a bit chunkier than his brother Jack. he was a bit more laidback than Scotty's father, feeling up the role of the "fun uncle" pretty well. Scotty remembered being 11 before his father died, and playing with Rob's ponytail. When Rob became Scotty's guardian however, he started to struggle with the responsibility and he became an alcoholic.

Scotty's watch beeped for 6:00AM, "Oh, I have to go, guys! I need to do something!"

"But we didn't finished our game of Go Fish!" Sunrise exclaimed in a childish whine, which she noticed and then apologized for. "I know, but I need to go do something first." Scotty replied, Freddy's chest cavity opened and Gregory peeked out, "I bet you five Bucks."

Scotty smiled, "Oh Yeah, where are you going to get it from?"

"I don't know." Gregory said with a childish confusion that made Scotty chuckle.

"Ok, guys, gotta go, ciao!" Scotty waved behind him, he walked to his car, a green Audi RS4 that Rob bought for him for his first day on the job as Nightguard. He kept it quite clean most of the time, because it was just a old habit of his.

He started the engine and drove out of the parking lot, he had to get Rob out of three bars this month, because he picked fights with guys who were twice his size, it wasn't something Scotty hated to do but wished would be toned down. He stopped at a traffic light and looked left to find a girl about 19, with beautiful brown hair and hazel eyes at a café. He sighed, he was never going to get a girl even if he wanted to, other than Ness, Vanessa, Luis and Michael from the other Freddy's nearby, he hadn't had other friends and frankly, he sucked at talking to pretty girls already, with a few exceptions.

he got home to his apartment, which was painted white to match the rest of the building, and was kept-clean most of the time. Scotty went into his room and changed into a clean white button shirt, some light brown jeans and a red sweater vest, he walked out of the apartment to find his neighbor from across his door, Jenna, in her doorway.

"Hey Scotty, How was your shift?"

"Oh, Hey Jenna! It was good, how was your shift at the new ice cream parlor?"

Jenna was close to Scotty's age, she was African-American, with dark brown eyes and had the most messy curly black hair Scotty has ever seen.

"Great!" she replied with enthusiasm, she leaned forward and whispered, "I think my boss likes me."

Scotty smiled "that's good. Hey, what are you doing tonight? We can watch Netflix again if you want."

"Okay. that would be nice!"

Scotty Arrived at Rob's house. Unlike Scotty's apartment, the house which came from the 90's had paint coming off the wall, the porch stairs had one broken step, and Rob didn't really keep the inside clean neither. He knocked the front door, and Rob answered after a moment. "Scotty Boy!" Rob exclaimed, "what do I own this visit from my nephew?"

"Hey Uncle Rob, I got your favorite." Scotty held up the bags of McDonald's and Subway, "and I got the movie, how does Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse sound?"

"Noice, good choice."

The movie was a good choice, they laughed a lot while watching it, and Scotty even compared Rob to the equally chubby Peter B. Peter.

"Well, at least I got a nephew here with me!" Rob said proudly. Scotty chuckled, then sighed.

"Hey Rob?"

"Yeah?" Rob replied,

"Do you think I'm good enough to find someone to love?"

Rob's eyes widened "W-What?"

it was now that Scotty realized that tears were coming down his face, but continued, "Do you think that there is someone out there who would love me?"

Rob was still shocked, "Scotty Boy, why are you saying that? Of COURSE you'll find someone, where is this coming from?"

"I don't know, but I felt this way for the last couple years but, you know, with Dad gone and Mom leaving, I just felt that no one might like me."

Rob smiled nervously, "What about Ness? She's your best friend, right? you hang out a lot at work."

"Rob, you know about Malhare and what he is, you even had a close call with him."

Rob chuckled, "you mean Mr. Weasel-face? He's just someone who will get karma eventually, right?" Rob put his hand on Scotty's shoulder, "I know that you're there helping Ness with that bastard, and i know that she means a lot to you." Scotty looked at Rob, who continued, "You're been doing that for me too, and I love you for that. I know that your mom left you at such a low point of your life, but you don't need to blame yourself for it."

Scotty wiped off his tears and sighed softly, "t-thanks, man."

"Nah, no prob, man, you really deserve it."

Scotty smiled, as a wave of emotions hit him like a truck, Rob was right, even with his dad and mom gone, he still had people he loved, Rob, Ness, Vanessa, Roxanne... Jenna.

"Well, I still want to say thank you, Rob," Scotty got up and went back to the car, opening the glovebox where he kept a photo of a 11-year-old him, his mom, dad and Rob on a trip, everybody smiling towards the camera, happy to be there. Scotty went back to Rob and gave it to him.

Rob put on his glasses and looked at the picture, after a moment, he teared up. The photo was the last one taken before Scotty's father died, Scotty and his father were a duo, they were close. Scotty and his mom, however, were like that kid Alec's that he met while at Freddy's with Michael, she was just as charming as his dad but she never been to get the parenting part of the job right, but at least she tried to, unlike Meg.

The only reason Jane left in the first reason was because she was grief-stricken, because she didn't believe she could be that much of a mom without Jack there to fix her mistakes when she messes up. Scotty never hated her for that, he understood that clearly, he enjoys seeing her smile in the photos he kept, he wished he could see her again more than anything.

"Rob? You Okay?" he asked,

"Yeah, I'm Fine," Rob sniffed between tears, "Just remembered this, it was the time at the cinema, right?."

"Yeah, What was the movie we went to watch, the 'best movie of 2010' as Dad put it?" Scotty scratched his head.

"Oh, Toy Story 3! Man, you cried so bad at the end!" Rob chuckled, "Oh come on, the ending got to me, all right?" Scotty replied.

Rob Sniffed again and turned to Scotty, "I bet she misses you, kiddo," Scotty smiled, "Yeah, I bet she does. Are we finishing the movie or what?"

Rob realized that they had a bit more to go, "Oh! I forgot that was still there," Scotty Laughed.

After the movie finished, Scotty waved goodbye as he left the house, Rob waved back and closed the door, he got into the car and sighed, he grabbed his phone from his pocket and called Michael, he picked up and Scotty could hear Lefty and Alec chatting in the background.

"Hey, man! What's up?"

"Hey, listen Mike, I'm calling because I was wondering if you and Lefty would like to have lunch at the plex again. How did it go with Father Blythe?"

Scotty heard Michael sigh, "great actually, he had a very nice talk with Alec, it was good to see someone helping the poor kid."

Scotty agreed,

"and I'll ask Lefty about lunch. Lefty!"

Scotty heard Lefty answer "Yeah?"

"Scotty wants to invite us to lunch at the plex again, want to go?"

"Well, what do you think, Alec?" Lefty asked,

"Sure, It would be nice, I find that place so cool." Alec replied

"Ok, We're in," Michael finally answered as he got on the phone again, "at what time do you want to meet?"

Scotty thought for a moment, and replied, "11:30?"

"Sure, we could make it."

"Great see you then, bro!"

Scotty returned to his apartment at noon, Jenna was waiting there, leaning on Scotty's door. he could see she changed for their "date". She was wearing a red plaid shirt which he knew was from her mom , her leather jacket, a pair of jeans and hiking boots for a strange reason. at this moment, he wished that he had changed, he was wearing the same shirt and sweater vest from earlier this moment and, compared to Jenna, he looked quite dorky.

"Hey," Jenna said as he noticed him, she looked at him up and down, "Wow, you kinda look like my dad."

Scotty laughed, he met Jenna's parents Jay and Nicky when they came down from New Harmony to visit, they love him.

"Look who's talking, Miss Hiking Boots." he said with a childish chuckle, "How was your visit to New Harmony today?" "Great, Dad made his signature pasta again!" Jenna replied with glee.

They went inside and sat down on Scotty's dark velvet couch, Scotty grabbed the blanket on the armrest and put it over Jenna's shoulders. "Thanks, what do you want to watch?"

Scotty shrugged, "What about we keep watching The Office?" Jenna agreed and put it on.

They were watching their 3rd episode when they laughed and Jenna accidently put her hand on Scotty's, he blushed as he internally freaked out.

"Oh Sorry!" she exclaimed as she panicked too, "nono, It's all good!" Scotty exclaimed, he noticed that now Jenna was blushing hard, it looked cute.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure!"

At 9:30, it's time to say goodbye, Scotty opened the door for Jenna but she stood there with her jacket in her hands.

"Jen? you okay? is there something wrong?"

suddenly she put her arms around him, and pulled him in for a kiss.

Scotty was panicking internally, when she released him, she went to her door, turned back to him and waved good night.

he waved back, his face still in shock, he went into his bedroom, and slopped onto his bed, still progressing what just happened.

Then along came the smile.
