@da3drat​ requested his wife Muiri for my TES NPC Cat drawings so I thought why not start with her :3c

I’ll definitely take more suggestions, it was fun drawing her and learning more about an NPC I’d otherwise overlook!

She was very fun to draw despite me not knowing much about her character besides the fact she is a Dark Brotherhood contract and you kill her sister and ex-partner so I consulted the UESP wik and skimmed some lines to get more.

Cool to see she’s an alchemist assistant and I didn’t even know she was a marriage candidate at all which is cool as heck! you kill her ex and take his girl, what a win! Sucks for her friend though I guess.

I decided to make her a chocolate spotted tabby because I like the colors and the spots are fun to draw! And I made her a long/medium fur cat because I feel somewhere around the Reach would get pretty cold, not ocean or winter cold but a lack of direct sunlight and mountain breeze cold so it would be practical for her to have a fluffier coat. I added a few little doodles on the sides as well just for fun and to practice drawing quickly :3c

her legs are a little short for my liking but I feel it adds to the charm so they can stay

My favourite discreet way to assassinate annoying NPCs is to reverse pickpocket poisons and poisoned apples into their inventories, sit back and watch. Alternatively, I like casting frenzy / reverse pickpocketing frenzy potions into their inventories and watching chaos unfold.

I have to purposely paralyse myself at least once in every playthrough, whether through licking Netch Jelly or chewing Corkbulb Root.

Idgrod Ravencrone is the best jarl.

Erikur deserves a slow death.

Delphine’s also a piece of shit.

Astrid instantly pissed me off.

I love just collecting and reading all the books.

The carriage driver Bjorlam (Whiterun) is SO HOT and for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Who made him so fine and why??

Ondolemar is a sweet baby. Even if you refuse to get the amulet for him, he doesn’t get pissy with you (unlike a certain touchy redheaded thief in Riften).

Some people get annoyed with Faendal showing up if you marry Camilla Valerius. I say two for the price of one, in this household we share. How can you be mad at getting a free bosmer femboy? A boyfriend of my wife’s is a boyfriend of mine.

Brynjolf: cocky thief with a *small amount* of issues, need i say more?

Captain Aldis: Self Explanatory. he's pretty, good personality, wants books, and lots of muscle? Yes please

Captain Gjalund Salt-Sage: idk he just smiled at my character once and it did things LMFAOOO

Captain Lonely-Gale: Father? Sorry, Father? Sorry-

Personally I see Muiri as one, as well as Jarl Elisif.

Muiri already has two deaths on her conscience so she is not afraid to have more. Especially since she is so enthralled with the Dark Brotherhood.

And Elisif holds all the power, but likes to keep the player close.

I can see Maven black briar being one! As well as Vex and Sapphire from the thieves guild. I mean, they have the skills, mindset and plenty of ways to make you theirs.

in my skyrim world of lore...

i've never posted anything original really on this blog, just reblogs, but i really wanted to share some of the lore of my skyrim characters. so here goes.

Alma Alvari (Dunmer)

- born in morrowind - left for skyrim as an adolescent - studied at college of winterhold, became arch-mage - specializes in destruction magic

Gaian (Bosmer)

- born in cyrodiil - married to ophelia, mother to lucia - master huntress - guild master of skyrim thieves guild - retired but still manages special contracts

Hviske Blood-Letter (Nord)

- born in skyrim - former vigilant of stendarr - dual wields dagger and mace (woe and ire) - cold-blooded killer - companion of muiri

Ophelia (Imperial/Nord)

- born in bruma - mother is imperial, father is nord - retired imperial legate - married to gaian, mother to lucia - dragonborn

Ulvemor Ice-Maiden (Nord)

- born in windhelm - contracted lycanthropy as an adolescent, joined the companions afterwards - harbinger of companions - mother to sofie

nobody else cares about this but I finally just figured out who the fuck Muiri is. she's a skyrim npc who appears in exactly one quest, but it's a dark brotherhood quest so she happens to be semi-relavant to the skyrim fic I'm working on, so her name stuck in my head and I mixed her up with Murghir from swtor, who also appears in exactly one quest that involves assassination.

Every time I do Blood on the Ice, it gets buggier and buggier, to the point that I can't even do it anymore. I'm not looking forward to my new saves going to WindHelm.

Last time it happened, Calixto was inside his MASTER LOCKED house/museum so I couldn't sell him the amulet. Ofc I could just proceed as normal with the quest but then the amulet won't become the strange amulet and it will be stuck in my inventory for all eternity. Also Calixto has been acting up and killing people in broad daylight.

On all new saves after my Stalleo-Io save where I couldn't proceed with the quest and characters who haven't been to WindHelm, I'm avoiding that city and the area surrounding it like the plague. Problem is, even if you don't enter the city and go to Brandy-Mug farm outside, the docks or stables, it still counts as a visit to the city and it makes things more difficult. Plus, if I want to fully complete the White Phial quest, I have to go to the city atleast four times; once to get it, second to bring it back, third to talk to Quintus after he sends his letter and fourth to finally fix it and Nurelion dies in peace. ALSO if I want to do Theives Guild stuff, that's a whole lot more visits to the city, five jobs and one special job.

The graveyard scene is supposed to trigger from 7pm-7am, but it has triggered in the daytime as well so I can't even only go to the city during the day to avoid starting the quest.

PLUS there's also Rise in the East, convince Tolbjorn to give the Argonians better wages, Northern Maiden to Solstheim and back (you can't fast travel to anywhere on Skyrim from Solstheim, it forces you back to the docks of WindHelm), Muiri's DBH contract on the sister, Itchy Scales double distilled skooma quest (he has a habit of not showing up every time I go there, one time I broke into their assemblage and got the quest like that), Shavee's Amulet retrieval, BlackSmiths guy's Queen Freydis' sword, FangTusk bounty, basically alot of quests that involve leaving the city and coming back. I think even going on the docks, going in the city and going back on the docks still counts as each individual visit, so just gettin the Argonians better wages is 3 visits. Not to mention sometimes NPCs won't give me their quests when I talk to them. Octieve San and Noster Eagle-Eye in Solitude won't give me their quests as well as the BlackSmith in WindHelm also won't always give me the sword quest when I first talk to him, the option isn't there. There's also Adanto who wants you to deliver a book to Solitude and he sometimes doesn't give me the quest. Luckily you don't have to come back to him. There are a few quests that can be taken care of inside the city but there are many more that can't.

Even if I condense everything into as minimal visits as possible, Rise in the East and going to Solstheim and back are still gonna fuck me up and put me over the four visits.

I'm doing the quest according to the detailed walk through of UESP to the T, talking to NPCs and retreiving items in the exact order listed in the walkthrou. Tova is still alive (I do the DBH after Blood on the Ice), high elf stable hand lady is still alive, not going to Hjerm until needed, talking to guards and Jorleif, talking to Wulferf the Unliving instead of having him jailed, TRYIN to sell the amulet to Calixto before talkikg to Viola Gordiano, but the game keeps messing shit up for me.

At this point the only real solution is to pick the Imperial side in the war so the guard never has a chance to give me the quest. I'm not sure thou if this will entirely get rid of the quest or if it just 'stunts it', Susanna the Wicked still gets killed, Calixto still locks himself inside his house but no more people die atleast. But now I'll have this permanent quest on my log.
