"Garrus is a character who went from being a shit head punk in ME1 and grows and betters himself over the games. He talks over the hard choices in ME3 without judging Shepard no matter what they choice. He is pretty much the first to stand up for them and even when his own home is being destroyed and he doesn’t know if his father and sister are alive he’s there for SHEPARD. He is there for the person who is always there for everyone else! ME3 Garrus is honestly Best Garrus and I want to celebrate how good his character arc is over the games.

And the best part is: the romance doesn’t fix him. He still grows and improves if you romance him or not!

Idk, I just don’t think it’s super fair to reduce him to his ME1 character when the fact that him growing and improving is the part I like best about him. Garrus, to me, shows you can always get better and life is about always getting better. It’s never too late to be better.

Diavolo’s day had consisted of nothing but work, work and more work

He was frustrated, tired, and his brain was fried from staring down at his papers from so long 

He dropped down onto the couch next to you, resting his chin in his hands and letting out a long groan 

“What’s up, Dia?” You asked, brushing away some stray hairs from his forehead 

“I don’t think i’ve had a day that draining in a thousand years…”

“Oh, honey, c’mere…” 

Diavolo laid down with his head in your lap, allowing you to stroke his head 

He stripped off his jacket as well, discarding it on the door thoughtlessly 

“Oh, my love,” Dia sighed, “I need a pick me up…” 

“Anything in mind?” You asked. It was quite obvious that he was already thinking of something

Diavolo turned over to look up at you, somehow keeping a completely straight face as he asked: 

“Can I ride you until I feel better?” 

You were a bit taken aback, but Dia’s calm demeanor didn’t falter 

He was serious, but not trying to be pushy 

Of course you had to agree, and a grin quickly formed on his face 

“Thank you, darling. Now sit back and sit still, I think we’re gonna be here a while…” 

Barbatos 

They may live to serve, but even Barbatos gets worn out from time to time 

He may have more patience than most, but it’s still finite 

They finally got a moment to themself at the end of a long day, and were happy to see you laying in their bed waiting for them 

“Oh, hello, love.” He greeted you. It was short but sweet, although you could still see the tiredness in his eyes 

“Hello, Barbs. You seem worn out. Wanna come lay down?” 

“Yes, actually. That would be nice. I’m not sure why, but today was particularly trying.” 

“I get it. Don’t worry, I’ll stay with you.” 

Soon they had snuggles into bed next to, holding you to their chest and resting his chin on your head 

You could feel the rise and fall of his chest begin to slow as he relaxed, but there was still an odd restless air about them 

“You alright, Barbatos?” 

“Yes, I think so…just, uh, not quite out of ‘work mode’ I suppose…” 

“Well hey, you’re always doing things for other people. Why don’t you let me do something for you instead?” 

Barbatos paused, looking down at you with an intrigued expression  

“Really?”

“Yep. Anything you want Barbs, I’ll do it.” 

“Anything…?” 

You nodded in reply 

Barbatos’ now borderline stoic face gave little to no insight on what they were thinking 

But when they did finally speak, it wasn’t anything you were expecting 

“If you really mean that, then…I think there is something I’d like.” 

Suddenly he was above you, your back now flat on the mattress as you gazed up at him 

“Would you be so kind as to let me—excuse my language—ride you until I feel better?” 

Even in moments like these they were still insistent on being proper 

It was endearing 

And of course you just had to say yes 

“I appreciate it, my dear. I’ll make sure you enjoy it as much as I do.” 

Simeon 

Ooooh booooy 

Y’know how the other characters said you never wanna see Simeon angry?

You don’t 

And he was pissed 

Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, or maybe it was some other mundane thing he couldn’t put his finger on 

But something had made today extra difficult 

All he wanted was to go home and get away from everybody but you 

And even though that time eventually came, it felt like it had been an eternity since this morning 

He didn’t even greet Lucifer when he passed 

He just wanted to get to you 

And when he did you were in for a wild ride (pun intended) 

He knew that an angel shouldn’t be thinking or desiring such things, but in his fiery state it seemed like the only thing that could help 

And it was rather easy to push the guilty thoughts away once he had his sights on you 

He was on you the second he was in the door climbing into your lap without so much as a word 

By the time you had said “hello” he was already fumbling with your pants 

“W-Woah, Simeon—! Slow down, w-what are you—“

“Just let me have this human. I need you ride you until I feel better.” 

You could practically feel the frustration radiating off of him, so you simply sat back and let him have his way. 

“Let me make one thing clear to you: I don’t want a word about this in the morning, do you understand? Good. Now behave.” 

Solomon 

Solomon was generally cheery, but today was just not his day 

He was struggling with his spells and couldn’t seem to get anything quite right

Each little mistake piled up into a mountain of frustration 

Until eventually he simply couldn’t take it anymore 

He somehow managed to make it to the end of the day, but was only hanging on by a thread 

He was so very happy to see you in his room, sitting in his bed and waiting for him 

“Oh, my love, I’m so happy to see you. You’re exactly what I need after such a terrible day.”

“Aw, well I’m glad I could help. Want to come lay down?” 

“Mm…not exactly.” 

You quirked a brow in confusion, watching as he sat down on the bed next to you 

“I’ve had a terrible frustrating time today, and I need something to…blow off steam with.” 

He pulled the covers off and straddled your waist, putting his hands on your chest and pushing you down onto your back 

“I think I’d like to ride to until I feel better. Is that alright?” 

You nodded wordlessly, watching as he stripped off his uniform jacket and then shirt 

“Good. You’re always willing to help me out, aren’t you?”

intro to my blog

hey! been meaning to remaster my masterlist (which can be found below along with basic rules for requests) and I just realized I'm just kind of some mysterious writer. i literally never introduced myself

so first, hi! my name is koolade! I also go by ade or cinnamon. all pronouns are alright with me, but I mostly use she/her and I’m 19! satan is my favorite obey me character, but mammon, belphie, and thirteen are close seconds. my favorite color is pink, I love cats (I have five <3), and hot tea! I play project sekai, genshin impact, and honkai star rail (I actually haven't opened obey me in months haha).

I have two side blogs: @koolade-reblogs for reblogs, and @koolades-thoughts for anything else/misc!

for my posts, I try to make one daily from between five pm and ten pm est, depending on what time I finish that day. sometimes I do post more than once, but usually those are random thoughts, and I don't do that often. Most of the time, I do queue up the posts, so please keep that in mind too! right now I'm just writing for obey me but if you happen to want something from the games I have listed above, I would be glad to write them as long as it's not too regular of a thing since this is mainly an obey me blog. Yae Miko, Aventurine, and Akito are my favs so if they have anything to do with it, I'm at your service (red flags I know but my second favs are green flags i swear!! lol)

please try to keep it to just the brothers or the datables! you can mix and match but it's difficult to write so many characters so please keep that in mind. the fewer characters, the more I can write for them so if you want something more concentrated, do one or two characters

how I think CANON kageyama really thinks about romance based on facts

This is more on just character analysis and observation but this is all speculation because if I'm being honest as a former Haikyuu x reader writer, I think he is the most mischaracterized and has potential for a different type of x reader, rather than typical romance.

Also I'm saying this as a Kageyama fan! This is just my thoughts jotted down hehe

I don't think Kageyama really had the chance to experience romance. Ever. I mean I could be wrong but based on what we we've seen there wasn't really time for it or even a single mention on it

Though given multiple chances to show it, he never showed any outright attraction to anyone outside of volleyball. Obviously this is not a shojo manga, it's a sports one but there are still multiple times where some sort of attraction has been shown towards characters.

He is unfazed by Kiyoko in a season 1 scene, he never fawns over any of the managers the way other characters do. (The only exception is when Saeko introduces herself and he and Hinata get excited) this isnt rly important tho, a lot of character dont do this

the only time he has ever been excited or passionate is when it comes to volleyball, the very reason why he stuck so close to hinata in the first place (this could argue for kagehina ((so true)) but that's a separate post lol)

HOWEVER he's also not repulsed by attraction towards him, as shown in the bonus chapter when he's aware that he and Atsumu are referred to by fans as the "Ikemen Players" and that people watch him for that; he says he's all for it because it get's people into volleyball

But the CORE REASON on why I think he never thought about romance is because he outright states in season 4 that he's not good at emotion, and his past. He likely does not know the feeling and even with friends he was still learning on friendship, but he wants to learn! (that's probably why he was so keen on asking oikawa for help in kitagawa-daichii)

Anyway so conclusion as an x reader writer, would he be datable? I mean it's not impossible. After all we hardly see his life outside of volleyball, it would just be challenging, just like getting him to play on a team. In fact it would even be cute to see him think about it.

I wrote all this bc I think it would be interesting to see this kageyama in fics, instead of the usual tsundere/constantly getting mad and embarrassed ver of him (me,,I used to write him like this,,,)

Now how would I write canon Kageyama off with staying true to his given character as much as possible?

I think he would be very calm and nonchalant about it. They've shown us that he's very aware of his emotional weaknesses in understanding but that he's ALWAYS willing to try and connect with others.

So while I think he can most definitely live his life without romance, I think that he is bound to think about it at least once and contemplate it. He might even be open to trying it for the sake of trying something that's so common with others, but in my opinion he will always love volleyball more than anything else, and that's not a terrible thing at all.

Hello Direct Dogman!

If you were to add more characters we can date like Rodger as a dlc. Would you add new characters or make some of the already existing characters dateable (aka Ticket Jerry) (I’m sorry I think my English lagged mid-way)

Welllll, I obviously have to reiterate that I can't see into the future and thus, I could release Roger's route and find out that it's not super viable for me to crank out a ton of DLCs (aka, to do every idea on my list.) From the early response, I think the new DLC will go over well with the fandom (and possibly sell well?) but naturally, it'd be a mistake for me to speculate openly about a followup for something that's still months away!

That being said: If Roger's route sells well/is liked enough by the fandom, I do have a few ideas on paper (mostly based on popular feedback I've gotten since the start of DT development) that involve pre-existing characters. Of those ideas, the most notable ideas to mention would be a Jerry route, an Olandy route (aka, Oliver + Randy at once) and the cut 6th datable.

Those are the ideas I've given the most thought to and am most confident would make for entertaining future DLCs! I've actually got rough drafts for them on paper too, with at least half of each idea roughly storyboarded. As the ideas are mostly based on popular fandom suggestions for DLCs, I gave each idea a strenuous amount of thought to ensure the ideas I had actually worked and didn't depend on breaking character. TBH: the greatest character change of the DLC is actually Roger, because I was aware that his DSaF 3 self was basically proto-Randy and didn't want to just do Randy II: Electric Boogaloo for a DLC. Me and his VA (who is helping me write gags for the route! the fern bit was his idea, for instance) basically brainstormed over many hours how to amplify certain traits that Roger has that Randy doesn't in order to make his route completely unique and to give the route a more unique dynamic!

Obviously DT being a different timeline means I had more freedom to slightly tweak Roger's character based on context specific to this incarnation, but I've given just as much thought when considering the Olandy/Jerry routes say. I know how deeply the fandom cares about DT's characters, so it's important to me that I always give thought. In particular, I'm proud of the idea I devised to justify a Gingi/Jerry date sequence (since Jerry would canonically never willingly go on a date with Gingi!)

There's also one or two ideas involving the pre-existing characters that I'm toying with that I shan't talk about yet. Shhh.

Submissions will be open since Monday, October 2 until Monday October, 16. I may extend submissions or end them early depending on how many characters are submitted.

Submit a Cinderella character (as in: a character who represents Cinderella; not any character in a Cinderella-themed piece of media) from any type of media (animation/live action/book/comics/etc.)

No unofficial characters (fan characters/OCs/etc.) + no real people.

You can submit more than one character, but please don't submit the same character multiple times or else they will be banned from the tournament.

Retelling & characters "acting" as Cinderella will be accepted!

The bracket will be determined depending on how many submissions there are. If there are a lot of submissions, then it will be a bigger bracket; the less submissions, then it will be a smaller bracket. The goal is to have at least a 32-poll bracket just like Red Riding Poll, but with there being more Cinderella adaptations out there than Red Riding Hood ones, I think we could easily get to a 64-poll bracket.

I reserve the right to not include a character if the piece of media for any reason.

Hello everyone :D

I bring a new poll account to you all

So I have a question for you: Do you have an Oc (or Self insert) for a certain media that you like to ship with a cannon character? Do you want an excuse to ramble about their relationship? Well good! Because that's why we are here!

This is the oc x cannon poll, where we will put these oc x cannon relationships against each other!

Please submit people to this google form (though if you rather submit in an ask or dm, that is ok too)

Rules and Notes:

I'm going to say this now, when the polls start, no hate toward any ocs or the relationships will be tolerated. This is for silly fun.

Relationships do not have to be romantic! I am using the word ship because it is easier, but if you have an oc and you think they are best friends with your blorbo? Thats fine too

The relationships don't even have to be positive. If they hate each other or something that's also fine

(Though for romantic relationships all characters involved have to be 18+)

I will not be accepting characters from: Harry Potter, DSMP or those associated with them (Other Mcyt is fine), attack on titans, or groups that involve fictionalized versions of real people (This one is a case by case bias so feel free to ask me about this)

Submissions will last until....whenever really. I don't know how many submissions I will receive for this, so we have to see
