This is kind of a play off an old project I did a million years ago, but I'm currently rewatching the entirety of The 7D and taking note of certain things, for the sake of my own stories and OC stuff. Here's what I've got for the first 4 episodes so far, for those that are interested.

Episode 1

The Long, Long Winter

FOCUS CHARACTER:

Jollywood Joe is a magical ‘spring’ chicken who’s clucks end winter in the enchanted forest

CONFLICT:

The Glooms freeze Jollywood Joe so he can’t end winter in the enchanted forest, forcing it to get so cold that Queen Delightful and the Jollywoodians have no choice but to move elsewhere

The Glooms think Queen Delightful is scared of spiders, so Hildy turns Grim into a giant spider and sets him loose in the castle. The 7D try to catch the little spider from earlier, with only Grumpy seeing Grim as the giant spider.

Sneezin Season

He keeps getting blasted away by Sneezy’s sneezes and ends up having to stay at the castle, till a solution can be found.

The Glooms keep trying to get his beard hairs for a spell. He makes use of Sneezy’s sneezes to save the day.

Sneezy

Trying to figure out what keeps causing his huge sneezes that keep sending Grumpy flying. His sneezes are used to save the day.

LORE:

Begun by Queen Whimsical

Queen Delightful’s great great grandmother

The ruler makes pies that everyone in Jollywood then use in a village wide pie throwing fight

CONFLICT:

The Gloom’s are tricking to get some of Grumpy’s beard hairs, but keep getting thwarted when Sneezy’s sneezes keep blasting both him and them away. It happens frequently enough that they start to think Sneezy is allergic to Grumpy, not realizing he’s actually allergic to Bob the squirrel.

CONFLICT:

The Delightful Diamond (Queen Delightful’s favorite diamond) goes missing and they believe it’s been stolen. In the ends it’s discovered that it was no actually ‘stolen’, instead it was taken by Sir Yipsalot, because it’s ball shaped and Queen Delightful has been trying to teach him how to play fetch with a ball.

The conflict revolves around her being stolen

Hildy Gloom wants a magic mirror that will tell her she’s the fairest in the land, but when the mirror Grim buys her ends up being busted and obnoxious, he steals Queen Delightful’s magic mirror and replaces it with the busted one. The 7D then try to get the magic mirror back.

He feels so bad that he’s too sad to show back up, but through a series of mishaps ends up saving her from the Glooms, though under the guise of the secret identity ‘The Big Bash’.

The 7D are trying to put on a surprise party for Queen Delightful’s birthday and task Lord Starchbottom with keeping her out of the castle until sundown. In the end, it’s revealed to actually be a surprise party for Lord Starchbottom himself. Having listened in, Hildy then tasks Grim with providing her with a surprise party and spying on the 7D to figure out how to do so.

The Rock of Sages

Looks very different from and contradicts the lore shared in the episode ‘The Rock of Sages’

Could be seen as a false ‘Rock of Sages’ with a false lore, spread to keep people from discovering the truth of and putting back together the real rock

CONFLICT:

The Glooms pretend to be new dwarf neighbors to get in the 7D’s mine so that they can find the Rock of Sages.

Sorry no background this time. Wanted to get this fella out as soon as possible. Though I'm mimicking the style of The 7D fandom wiki anyway, so it fits.

As you'll, I didn't hold back the description of the character's relationship with the canon cast like I did with Coral Cove, because in Coral's case, I believe I can still make at least a few twists and turns on the way and surprise you, but with Theo you would understand where I'm going with him from just by looking at his allies line, so I thought it would be better in this situation to clear up his relationship with the characters already to give you a better understanding of what type of person he is in terms of interactions.

Also, I want to remind you that I don't hate Queen Delightful. I simply think of her as overrated, especially within the show itself, so I just thought it would be fun to make someone who puts her goofy personality under great scrutiny and also comically exaggerate my own love of theorizing and overthinking.

With all of that out of that out of the way, let's jump right in and meet my OC, Theo Hunch!

Character Information

Occupation: Journalist

Relationships

Appearance

Just like many other citizens of Jollywood, Theo is very short. He has a pale peach colored skin, dark brown messy hair and mustache, and bags under his eyes. He wears black half-rim glasses, a white shirt, a maroon tie, a dark greyish yellow trench coat, grey pants and black boots.

Personality

Theo is a journalist whose curiosity and tendency to overthink and overanalyze things slowly led him to become a very paranoid and stressed-out mess of a guy who's on edge most of the time.

Despite the fact that he gets easily frustrated due to a horrible lack of sleep and people being dismissive of his theories, he doesn't actually possess hostility towards anyone, except Queen Delightful. Quite the contrary, his negative view of the Queen is directly tied to his desire to help the citizens of his home kingdom, since he believes they are all victims of the Queen's manipulations.

While his intenstions are understandable and his heart is in the right place, he's so fixated on the idea of the Queen actually being evil and fake and the citizens of Jollywood being her poor victims that he can be oblivious to the thoughts of the very people he's trying to protect, believing that getting Delightful off the throne is best for them.

Relationships

Queen Delightful

Theo is very distrusting of Queen Delightful. He's certain that the Queen's friendly demeanor is just an act that masks a disingenuous, manipulative and controlling person who abuses her power and creatively fools her subjects into fulfilling even the silliest and most selfish of her desires.

The paranoia and the animosity towards the Queen that sprang from it got so out of hand that he made a conscious decision to turn to the Glooms and form a mutual partnership with them to reach the goal of getting Queen Delightful off the throne of Jollywood.

Despite his thoughts being potentially concerning, the citizens of Jollywood see him as a somewhat delusional but harmless fella and don't take his claims too seriously, especially considering that he's a long-time friend of the 7D.

Lord Starchbottom

Being a journalist, Theo tried to talk to Queen Delightful quite a couple of times, but before he could actually take any kind of interview with her, he ended up only being able to interact with Starchy instead, which helped him take a closer look at the Queen's assistant only to see an overworked and underappreciated loyal guy who suffers from not so well-kept insecurity in his own efficiency due to Queen Delightful's always calling seven small miners from the other side of the town to do even the most mundane tasks instead of asking the personal helper who lives with her and constant work injuries that aren't always given enough attention.

Theo's connection with Starchy isn't as strong as the one he has with the 7D, but he still spent enough time for them to consider each other friends and for Theo to know all the mishaps Starchy has to indure because of the Queen or the things she asks the 7D to do want to save him from what he believes is an abusive boss.

The 7D

Grumpy

Theo and Grumpy are quite on the same page in terms of not having a happy-go-lucky attitude compared to most citizens of Jollywood. Theo really appreciates having another person whose attitude opposes kingdom's sugarcoated mentality as it makes Grumpy's personality read to him as genuine.

However, they do, of course, have differences in their opinions on the Queen: while Grumpy can agree that Queen Delightful may sometimes be a bit silly and improvident in her requests to The 7D, he thinks of the Queen as a kind-hearted and generous leader, just like most people of the kingdom, while Theo thinks she's not the benevolent person she appears to be.

Grumpy was vocal about his strong opinion on Theo's joining forces with the Glooms, but their mutual respect and appreciation of each other didn't let any of the two see the other one as an enemy even if the situation certainly made the relationship more complicated.

Happy

It's easy to assume, based on Theo's distain of the Queen's over-the-top positivity which he views as a manipulation tactic and him being somewhat similar to Grumpy in terms of not having the best mood most of the time, that he wouldn't be a huge fan of Happy. But despite all the odds, he actually has quite the friendly feelings towards the fella. While he can find his pushy cheerfulness irritating at times, he perceives Happy as someone who is pressured into keeping the role of the biggest optimist by his environment. And since Theo's overanalyzed review of Happy's behavior led him to believe that this dwarf's necessity to suppress all his emotions aside from happiness to meet people's expectations has also turned into his personal coping mechanism to distract himself from his issues, Theo tries not to be too harsh on Happy and not put him in a situation where Happy would have to spend too much energy on trying to cheer him up while putting his own feeling aside.

In addition, he really loves Happy's singing voice and enjoys both his more slow-paced songs and melodies, which he finds very mentally and emotionally stabilizing, and his more up-beat tunes, which are quite good at helping him stay awake and keeping him from drinking too much coffee.

Their relationship didn't change at all after Theo started his partnership with the Glooms: Theo's opinion on Happy, just like on the other dwarfs, stayed the same, and Happy, being a type of person who almost never feels hostility even to towards bothersome villains like Hildy and Grim, still saw him as a friend who just needs some cheering up and hugs. Meaning the two keep being stuck in a circle of obliviousness where each one thinks the other is emotionally overwhelmed and needs his help.

Sleepy

At first, Theo questioned Sleepy's constant sleeping, but then remembered how messed up his own sleep schedule is and realized that Sleepy's routine was much healthier than his. He also started viewing it as escapism which, in his opinion, an understandable reaction to the stress the 7D get because of the royal duties.

Theo sometimes envies Sleepy a bit and wishes his own brain was able to just go into the sleeping mode without constant ideas and theories flooding and turning it back on.

He often likes to watch Sleepy while he's sleeping because his peaceful look, just like Happy's songs, is able to distract Theo at least a little bit from pressing issues and give him a certain amount of serenity.

Sneezy

As someone who has some health problems himself, Theo can somewhat relate to Sneezy's constantly sneezing. Just like with Sleepy, Theo enjoys Sneezy's company and finds it really comfortable talking to him, since both Sneezy and Sleepy are the only dwarfs who he believes aren't pressured into displaying specific personality traits based on their names (unlike someone like Happy who's expected to act a certain way), so they are free to express more of their genuine feelings.

Bashful

Bashful is the member of the 7D Theo has the most difficult relationship with because of Bashful's crush on Queen Delightful. Bashful is very defensive of the Queen and never holds back from stating how wrong Theo is about her. And Theo, being aware of Bashful's crush on Queen Delightful and reasonable enough to not address his crush too explicitly, can have an actual heated debate with the dwarf but still not hold anything against him, since he believes Bashful fell the biggest victim to Delightful's mind tricks and feels nothing but concern for the timid dwarf. Theo actually really appreciates Bashful for his ability to break out of character at times and not let his shyness defy his whole personality.

Bushful's feelings towards Theo didn't change too much after the latter started helping the Glooms since he wasn't really on the good terms with him to begin with, he mostly now just simply felt more justified in openly antagonizing the guy, which Theo doesn't really see as a personal attack but merely as Bushful being irrational due to the Queen's strong influence.

Despite that, both before and after Theo's partnership with Hildy and Grim, Bashful occasionally cut Theo some slack and gave him the benefit of the doubt on the basis of the other dwarfs' more positive outlook on the guy.

Dopey

Theo likes Dopey and appreciates his care and friendliness to animals. However, he does find it difficult to interact with him sometimes as he's unsure of what pattern of behavior he should display towards him due to Dopey's animalistic habits of his own.

Doc

Both being curious nerds with an analytical brain, Theo and Doc get along very well and always have something interesting to talk about.

However, just like in his relationship with Grumpy, the only thorn in Theo's friendship with Doc is the radical differences in the perception of Queen Delightful as a person. Though just like Grumpy, Doc can objectively understand the reasons behind Theo's point of view while still standing confidently by his own opinion.

Theo and Doc's relationship after Theo's joining forces with the Glooms is the same as the one with Grumpy.

The Glooms

At first, similar to other residents of Jollywood, Theo wasn't fond of the Glooms, thinking of them as a threat. But as the time went on and his view of Queen Delightful become more and more negative, he started paying more attention to the behavior of the witch couple and found himself much more drawn to the wicked duo.

Grim, despite his dim-wittedness, was able to win Theo over with his unmistakably genuine warm and slightly childish nature pretty early on, since it was occasionally contrasted by the wizard's poor attempts to appear an intimidating villain, which really helped Theo figure out his true character.

Hildy was harder case because of her spoiled, demeaning and bratty personality. But Theo interpreted her behavior as Hildy just being open about her flaws.

The thing that convinced him the most though is their treatment of each other. While Theo may not be an expert on love, he is very well aware of the aspects of different types of love and can see that the pair are clearly dedicated to one another and can't live without each other, and Hildy sometimes being bossy and impatient with Grim while still having pure undiluted love for him to Theo feels as something truly sincere compared to the Queen's sweet yet somewhat aloof attitude towards people, even those who are closest to her.

All of this led Theo to see the Glooms as people who aren't necessarily good but ones with good intentions and loving hearts.

Ots hard to really have a favorite cuz I pretty much only have the one, and I just kind translate her to whatever I'm hyperfixated on. Right now, that's 7ds, so she's a fairy.

It's kind of hard to describe her whole deal susinctly cuz she's part of this whole AU I've kinda built around her. That's the "SDS-RBF-215" page. Back in 2016, when I was deep in the undertale fandom, I started using those alphanumeric designations.

But anyway, the character is tecnically a self-insert, so she's a little self-indulgent, but I work hard to keep things from being canon breaking.

Though, I guess if you really wanted to twist my arm about it, my favorite is probably the Mayethian version of Maranwe. But only because Mayethia is my baby.

Mayethia is a planet I made up when I was 12, but the concept actually started with a nonsense language I would sing to myself in when I was 9. It's technically in the Dragon Ball universe, but it's big enough now that I could separate it from that completely if I wanted to.

I do strongly suggest if you have preferred characters to use, is to send me a short paragraph of their general personality. I usually can understand them from that. If it’s NSFW and I don’t understand something about a certain kink I will ask. If you have a certain way you want the story to go, I suggest writing a plot summary in the form of bullet points. It doesn’t have to be really detailed unless you want it. I will ask if I have to. I will send a rough draft for approval before the final draft is complete. I also would like if you could provide a drawn ref sheet or a written description of any characters involved.

I reserve the right to use any written work I have been commissioned for as an example, though I will ask first if the commissioner wants to remain anonymous or want me to change names of characters/etc. before posting.

I just wanted to make this to wish one of the best YouTubers Thomas Sanders (@thatsthat24) an early happy birthday. So Empathy is dressed as Virgil, one of the characters for Sanders Sides. I had a hard time drawing the hoodie since I'm not good at drawing flannel. The only other male character from a series or movie that I've drawn Empathy cosplaying as was Steve from Blue's Clues and I don't know why I never draw her with eyelashes. I haven't drawn Grim Gloom in forever and I love that this drawing and the first drawing I made of him and Hildy back in 2017 are both referencing The Fairly OddParents.

Welcome

Hi! Welcome to my Tumblr account. I’m quite new here so please bear with my posts for a while until I get used to it. I’m a writer who wants to try and make fanfics to satisfy ya’ll. Hey guys, Murky here! I have good news and bad news(and also status update)

let's start with good one: Requests drawings for the winners are completed!(which i uploaded it to Instagram, and it's Spirit's Corruptmares contest)

bad news is: unfortunately... i have to delay Spirit's Corruptmares... again, this time it's about moving out, we(me, Pifon the cat and parents) are gonna move out about in 1st August, so... i decided to focus more on moving out stuff like packing stuff into boxes and etc.

I will still draw it tought but as sketch only, either digital or traditional(mostly traditional if i'm done with packing all boxes) There's nothing else to do about it... but i think i have to slowly open ask blog(and changing as well) but it may take a while to do it.

And now about Pifon the cat, well... i'm bit worried about him since he is half outdoor and half indoor cat, so... i hope he will get use to new house and not get lost... i'm just wish he won't get lost especially when he is currently elder (he is about at least 14 years old, i lost count tough...)

Well, that's all about it... i'm trying my best not to cry while writing about the cat part(something... i rather not talk about it unless it's someone i trust...)

Anyways, on to update:

•requests(normal one this time) will be closed for now, Roleplay still opens the usual

• Ask Murk's OCs blog are gonna be changing... still ask blog but this time it's mix of most of my OCs with some the 7D characters (yet the name of this blog is currently not gonna change for now... just not yet... expect description, which will be changed actually) also it's gonna be opening soon!

Thank you for the ask💖I'll try my best to asnwer these, but I'll admit most of these are bare bones or even some I haven't worked on in a while😭 Let me know which one you like the most! Under the cut, because it gets long.

The Seven Heads: or as I like to call it "My Big Fat Ultimate ASOIAF AU" where a lot of things are different with the families of Westeros. The main cores of the story is "what if Rhaella and Aerys' dead children lived alongside Rhaegar, Viserys and Dany" and "what if the Defiance of Duskendale went differently?" (and yes, it's got OCs, but you can never have enough of them imo). I admit I take a lot of liberties with canon, but dammit I like self-indulgent AUs and it's not like grrm gives me a choice the longer he doesn't put out twow.

Though I’m not so sure if he likes me now that I have gotten older to see the kind of man he is and can talk back to him. Daeron replied to his mother, “Sorry, Mother. I’m just anxious to arrive soon as well as Father. Ser Gwayne, can you see the castle yet?”

“It’s in our sights, my prince. We should be there in only a few moments,” the knight answered. Ser Gwayne Gaunt was the younger of their guardsmen, two decades junior to Ser Harlan Grandison, who had reached his fiftieth year earlier in the month. Gwayne had a strong face with dark brown eyes and light brown hair, whereas Ser Harlan’s dark hair and beard were mainly gray, and he was built like a husky Stormlander than Gaunt, who was leaner and was built similar to his house name. Daeron did not think much of most of the Kingsguard except Ser Arthur Dayne, the legendary Sword of the Morning and his brother’s closest friend, and to a lesser extent Ser Barristan Selmy, often called the Bold for his deeds in the War of the Ninepenny Kings. Although he could admire the knights for their skills, he was beginning to think of them all except Ser Arthur as blind followers to his vain and oft-times cruel father.

Shae said not one of them lift a finger to help Mother when he hurts her or other innocents. She says she will get rid of them once she and Rhaegar become king and queen. Then again, Shae's always saying things like that and it’s not like Father will die anytime soon for her or Rhae to do so.

Snow Rose: Basically a dark re-telling of Snow White & Rose Red, with elements of SW&7D. I also want to put in more fairy tale inspirations eventually.

The serenity of the forest was broken by the slow crunch upon the fallen snow. Nothing moved except the small party within the gray scenery—not the snow-cloaked trees, no animals in sight, not even a trace of wind. The only disturbance came from the entourage, royally cloaked in ermine and mink furs.

Hero Story: I came up with this in a creative writing class. It's pretty much The Boys/Invincible/darker MHA; those with powers either join the government to work as special forces, or join a group of anarchists to overthrow said government and 'do as they want' with their powers.

I blubbered out if the “bad guys” had come into my room that night to take me away, but they didn’t answer. As my eyes adjusted to my dark room, I noticed something about myself as I turned my face into the mirror. My skin had paled to a light green, not the green you turn when you get sick, but the green of leaves and grass at the height of spring. My eyes, once a light blue, were now dark green with an amber iris. My blonde, stringy hair was now a tree bark brown with small leaves and wild flowers growing from my head. I gingerly plucked a white flower from the top and cried out in pain as green juice leaked from the spot, trickling down my face.

My grandmother covered the spot and returned my hug, her voice wavering with emotion. “Don’t do that, honey. It’s…it’s part of you now. It only hurts if you do…that.”

What’s wrong with me, Gran?

“Nothing. You’re…You’re one of the Blessed. It’s a good day.” She then looked up to Granddad and asked him what to do next.

Cool Fantasy Idea: I gotta be honest, I have nothing except notes for this one, even though it's the one I really want to do. The POVs are all women-six in total set in a world where magic is both welcomed and feared as these women try to survive political schemers and all-out war with the Kingdoms of Avlonya (who desire to use magic) and Magyr (who are naturally gifted with it); both kingdoms want utter conquest. I'll just list the girls without giving too much away.

Gwendolyn “Gwen” of Avlonya: sister of reigning king Brandyn, from family of nobles/priests/advisors who have bred and raised royal spouses. She wants to leave the suffocating political life and her unstable brother's corrupt court to live her dreams as a healer and with her forbidden love.

Lian Fen: a peasant and former slave who has found happiness with a loving husband and two children. She is from a race of people that rode and spirit-bonded with dragons, though hers died in a traumatic incident. Has settled in Avlonya with her family, despite oncoming war.

Queen Tala Yscre: royal mistress to Gwen’s brother Brandyn, daughter of General Vilarr and from a race of conquered magical people (related to Magyr Empire who left a long time ago and then got conquered by Avlonya). She wishes to become queen, but might bite off more than she can chew with that dream when it comes to the cruel Brandyn.

Maritt: rat anima nomad and mercenary. The anima have animal forms and that keep that animal's characteristics even in humanoid form (similar to Faunus from RWBY). She begins to work as a spy and information broker for the Magyr Empire.

Terryn Skala: commander of Magyr forces with power over earth. She remembers how bad it was under the current ruler's grandfather and father, and thus she has undying loyalty to the new emperor Cailean, whom she sees as a force for good.

Queen Ardynn Bright-Eyes: elvhen queen of Magyr king Cailean, his third wife. She is pregnant and is trying her best to keep her child safe and broker peace with the elvhen races, who distrust humans.
