You know that popular text post that talked about how annoying it is when people reblog posts that's obviously in celebration for those particular things, just to shit all over it because it's already got a ton of notes so they're using it to piggy back off of it instead of just creating their own damn posts where they can dump all their negativity and bullshit on it? Yeah, I FEEL that post right now.

Women’s self-image is as negative as ever despite the “body positivity” wave of choice feminism. Why?
I think one of the biggest reasons as to why women’s beauty standards and self-image are worse than even is because you can preach about unfair beauty standards all you want and tell women not to make fun of another woman’s looks but you can’t take away the social status and praise that women who are “beautiful” get from society (both men and women). You give them clout and praise them. Something both “body positivity” and “body neutrality” feminists do btw despite all the talk about acceptance.
It’s like saying you don’t support the ethics behind a product and yet still consume and buy it. In this case “beauty” being a luxury achieved via consumerism where women become the products (objects) that other women admire and obsess over. There is a demand so there is a supply PERIOD.
Women might not directly pursue beauty (“I do it for myself”) for men but nonetheless it’s definitely ingrained as a sign of status and that’s enough to cause a negative self-image in women who don’t participate. Men might have been the original perpetrators of installing unrealistic beauty standards for women but the victims (women) have also turned into perpetrators who can’t let go of the misogynistic status symbol of having value from appearances because it’s considered “culture”.

I just want to say that if you, in any form, support the eradication, erasure, or demonise any group- be it an ethnic one, an orientation, gender, religion, etc. please get tf out of my blog and don't even think on interacting with my posts unless you've done plenty of self-reflecting and chose to be on the right side of things.

the most annoying part of terfs reblogging your stuff and trying to "debate" your transness is you can always just... tell that they'll never see you as a person. to them, you're always just trans before anything else. they'll make up all kinds of shit that you allegedly do and believe - none of which is based in reality - and it won't matter. even if you aren't this evil antifeminist rapist caricature they've made up in their heads, you "are" anyway, because you're trans. because they say so.
its not just that they're bigoted towards trans people - they don't even see you as an individual. you can critique their stupid anti-queer bullshit hate movement in 100% accurate terms; and in return, instead of answering to the criticism, they'll just make shit up that you MUST believe, because you're trans. and now you have to answer to every dumb stereotype they have about trans people.
i don't even think there's like a clever debate fallacy for this. i think its just the most pure form of bigotry. its clown brain.

It's just one big deep rabbit hole at this point, A doc with evidence and screenshots because I feel this is needed and I hope others are warned about who you let into fandom spaces
Writing this doc was a nightmare, a nightmare I wish did not happen, that someone could just rest wherever they are now instead of being dragged around like this and destroying their memory, a zine and others who are affected by this drama.
This was not needed, but here I am, seeing this shit others have gone out of their way to create and make my life and others a living hell for whatever this circus is made by them.
I had the ambulance down the other day because of, in the end, a panic attack, I have been so tired as of late, I have had to give up so much, and others have had to suffer because of this.
This was a simple issue, that became uglier as I looked more into it and heard experiences from others who have had to deal with similar cases in the recent passing of a user, and so, the doc had to be made,I put what I could in there, and how it broke me in the end after having to do this.
to others out there, I am sorry, the actions done by these types of people have led to here, and why I had to do this, but whatever happens next, I only wish the best for you and thank you.

relationship influencers and couple accounts are already troubling but when it’s just one person in the relationship constantly making content about it… what a nightmare

I don't think asking someone to send you Links of what they perceive to be pedophilic content is going to yield any productive result
I think asking them to provide proof of their argument is the bare minimum of taking them seriously in the discussion. They are making a truly harmful claim against a writer or writers while also loudly misrepresenting what CSA content actually IS, meaning they're also (intentionally or not) diluting a meaning we need to keep VERY distinct so that there is no wiggle room when CSA content actually exists.
(For anyone who doesn't know: Child Sexual Abuse content, under United States Law, is images or videos that involves ACTUAL minors in sexual situations. It does NOT include any fictional versions of minors in sexual acts. So, for example, someone drawing two OCs they say are fifteen in a sexual situation is NOT CSA content because those OCs aren't real. Similarly, any YA that has a couple who are minors having a sexual experience is ALSO not CSA content.)
If you're gonna claim something you don't like is CSA content and claim that that content should be banned because you don't like it, you better be able to prove it actually exists at all because so far, I've seen completely unsubstantiated claims, and you either put up or shut up.
I am literally requesting the bare minimum: Prove your personal argument has a tiny nugget of merit by showing me the content you swear up, down, and sideways, exists. Fucking prove it.
