Naruto and Sakura had fallen asleep about an hour ago, apparently such a pitiful sight that the mednin had allowed them all to stay past the end of visiting hours. Or maybe the nurses were just so shocked to see Kakashi willingly in the hospital that they just forgot to kick him out.

He was staring out the window now, just watching the cycle of Konoha lighting up in the evenings, only to slowly darken again as the night crawled in. He wondered briefly at which part of Konoha Sasuke was currently sulking in. He debated going after him but-

"-shi," a weak voice followed by a weak cough startled him. He turned around instinctively, almost going to his weapons pouch out of habit.

You were awake.

Kakashi forgot how to move.

"Water," you croaked, unable to move under the weight of two genin snoozing on your already weakened body.

"Water," Kakashi repeated, hurrying to pour a cup from the jug on the nightstand. His hands were shaking and it took more concentration than it should have for him to refrain from spilling it everywhere. "Here."

He helped you sip the water, gently supporting your head up as his mind reeled. The mednin had said that gaining consciousness would be a great sign of recovery. Through the crashing relief clouding his brain, he then belatedly remembered to press the call button.

You smiled at him and, before the nurses began filling the room, gently nudged Sakura and Naruto awake.

"Mmm, five more minutes," Naruto grumbled, snuggling closer.

"No, Naruto, you need to wake up now, the nurses have to check on me," your voice was weak, but the amusement and affection was still blatantly understandable.

Sakura shot up, eyes swollen and hair wild.

"You're awake!" she said, wrapping her arms around your neck.

That seemed to be enough to wake up Naruto, who shot up, wiping the drool off his chin as he did.

"YOU'RE AWAKE!" he yelled, crashing into you and eliciting two 'oofs' from you and Sakura.

Tears and sniffling started up again, but this time Kakashi didn't find them to be nearly as uncomfortable. On one hand, because these were happy tears, and on the other, because you were there to deal with them.

"Where's Sasuke?" you asked, looking around like he might suddenly pop out of the bathroom or from under the bed.

"Teme left a few hours ago," Naruto grumbled, nuzzling into your neck with abandon.

"I think... it was too much for him. Hospitals trigger bad memories for him," Kakashi said slowly, automatically looking up at you for approval. He was rewarded with a smile that told him he had likely understood the situation correctly.

"Can you two go and find him for me?" you asked, nudging Sakura and Naruto. "I need to have the nurses check up on me now. And Kakashi, can you see if you can find anywhere still open to grab us all some food?"

Kakashi hesitated and he could see Naruto and Sakura doing the same; none of them wanted to leave you alone after what had happened. You only smiled and rolled your eyes.

"I'll be fine, but I want some privacy for my medical exams, okay, so scram, all of you. The faster you complete your tasks, the faster I'll let you back in."

That was all the encouragement Sakura and Naruto needed. They both leapt off the bed, falling a little as they went, and shot out the door, already bickering about who was going to find Sasuke first.

After they were gone, Kakashi sent you a one fingered salute, pulled open the window, and slipped out into the night, remembering to close it behind him in case you got cold. He had a feeling that convenience store food was going to be the only thing he would be able to get so late, but he really, truly didn't mind, because they'd all be eating it together.

As a team.

(Capri sees how you are with your siblings when she comes to hang out while you’re babysitting making her think about how awesome it’s gonna be when you’re both moms together raising a baby of your own)

Your mom asked you to babysit your two little siblings last minute (baby brother(2) Max and little sister(4) Avery) of course you said yes, it was really hard to say no to your mom. “I’ll be back in the morning, I promise I’ll make it up to you” your mom said as she left, you knew she would not be home in the morning like she said but she most definitely wouldn’t make it up to you but it’s ok. Luckily it was Friday afternoon, the school day had already ended Capri was supposed to come over after she finished her- CAPRI IS SUPPOSED TO BE COMING OVER-SHIT you completely forgot. You decide to clean up a little, rushing a little especially since now you had to pick your siblings up from daycare. You decide to text Capri to let her know what’s going on.

(Y/N): hey Cap um my mom really last minute told me I have to babysit today :(

baby💕: can I still come over? I miss you and I wanna spend time with you

baby💕: plus I bet you’ll want some help with the kids

You smile and set down your phone. You have to leave in about 15 minutes to make it to the daycare before the rush of parents get there so you decide to fix your hair and change into something a little more comfortable knowing you’ll have to chase the little ones around once you get back home. You go with some sweatpants and a t-shirt then throw on a jacket and your shoes and head to your car. The drive was peaceful. You got there a little early and parked in the front, you only had your wait a few minutes before you were allowed to sign them out “SISSY” your little sister yelled running over to you excitedly “hi sweet pea how was your day?” You say pulling her in for a hug “SUPER COOL we got do paint and we had goldfish” she said beaming with energy “that’s so cool, are you ready to go get bug and head home?” You ask grabbing her bag and waving goodbye to the worker “mhm but tan we go get snack fwom da store and den we go home?” she asks “of course we can get snacks, let’s go get Max and then we’ll get you all the snacks you want” you say holding her hand and heading over to the baby room “oh hey y/n, you’re here to pick up Max right?” Darby asks “um yeah, I didn’t know you worked here?” You say a little surprised “oh um yeah it’s my first day” Darby says while another worker brings Max over “sissy” he says reaching for you “hi baby boy” you say grabbing him and his bag from the worker “bye Darby see you on Monday” you say with Max on your hip and holding Avery’s hand. The three of you head to your car, you help Avery in first so she’s not running around the parking lot, then you put Max in. “Ok guys we’re gonna go get snacks then we’re going home” you say as you buckle up and start the car “YAY SNACKS” Avery says bouncing in her seat a little “NACKS” Max say copying Avery. You put on some Disney music for the kids because you know they like it and then drive over to the store by your house to get snacks. You get to the store and text Capri to see if she wants anything

You and the kids get your snacks then head back home surprisingly arriving before Capri. As you’re getting the kids out of the car Capri arrives “hey bubs” Capri says as her hands wrap around your waist “Capri baby, I love you soo very much but if I don’t get this lovely little girl in the house she is going to pee in my car” you say as you help Avery unbuckle “oh sorry honey” Capri say backing away to give you some space “is there anything I can help with?” She asks “um yeah can you get Max out?” You say unlocking the front door and letting Avery run inside. Capri brings Max inside the house plus the bags you left in the car “oh baby you didn’t have to do that” you say helping her out by grabbing Max and setting him on the couch then helping her take the snacks to the kitchen and you put two frozen pizzas in the oven. Avery runs out of the bathroom excited to meet Capri “Sweet pea no running, you know the rules” you say in a slightly authoritative tone “sowwy” Avery says looking at the ground “aw so this is the sweet pea I’ve heard about, what’s your name?” Capri says squatting down to be eye contact with Avery, Avery immediately runs behind you “sweet pea I thought you wanted to say hi?” You say trying to look at her “I scared” she says in a loud whisper “she’s nice I promise” you whisper back, Avery still holding on to you stands by your side and waves at Capri “hi, I Avery” “hi Avery I’m Capri, it’s nice to meet you” Avery goes over and hugs Capri “aww” Capri says as she hugs Avery “you my fwiend now” Avery says looking Capri in the eyes “absolutely I’d love to be your friend” Capri says as you walk over to the two of them “hey Aves you wanna go get some toys to play with while we watch a movie?” You say as you wrap your arm around Capri’s waist “otay I go but don’t eat me snacks” Avery says going to her room, you pull Capri in for a kiss “I missed you” you say “I missed you too” Capri says “sissy” Max says yanking at your pants “yes bug?” You say squatting to his level “eat?” He say “oh you’re hungry we’ll remember we got some snacks?” “CHEESE” “yes bug I got you cheese, go get some toys while I set up the movie, ok?” You say as he excitedly goes to his room to get some toys “they are absolutely adorable” Capri says “EAT” max says running to the living room with some toys “BUG NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE” you yell slightly frustrated “Sweet pea, movie time” you say down the hallway “MOVIE” Avery says walking down the hallway with a blanket and some toys plopping down on the cushions you put on the floor for them. Capri takes the pizzas out and helps set up their snack trays “hey babe does Max have a sippy cup or does he use a normal cup?” She asks putting cheese on his tray “he has a sippy cup, it should be in the fridge next to Avery’s juice boxes” you say looking through movies with the kiddos and them both shaking their heads no at every movie you show them “are you guys being silly?” You say looking at them “noooooo” Avery says then giggles, max starts giggling too “ok that’s it you little tricksters” you say starting to tickle them causing them to giggle more and louder. Capri comes over with both of the snack trays for the little ones “oh what’s going on in here? You guys look silly” Capri says with a laugh, both kids are laying on you and the three of you are giggling “sorry the tickle monster had to get these silly kids under control” you say as both kids get off of you to go in their spots for snacks “tank you capi” Avery says starting to eat her snacks “aw you’re welcome” Capri says “hey goofballs should we let Capri pick the movie since she’s our guest?” You ask them, Max nods with a mouth full of cheese “yeah her pick” Avery says giving you a thumbs up “alright Capri, what shall it be?” You say handing her the remote “tangled?” She suggests “ESS” Max says putting his hands up “he wikes dat one a lot” Avery says with a giggle “that’s a great choice Capri” you say from the kitchen while she starts the movie. You make a snack tray for you and Capri to share grabbing drinks for the both of you.

The kids sit quietly eating their snacks and watching the movie. You sit next to Capri wrapping an arm around her and passing her drink “thank you babe” she says giving to a quick peck on the lips. The kids finish their snacks and play for a little but about 3/4ths of the way into the movie they both start to doze off “aw they’re so sleepy” Capri whispered “I’m gonna take Max first, I’ll be back for Aves” you whisper kissing Capri’s forehead, you gently pick up Max, he shifts a little wrapping his little arms around you then you take him to his room tucking him into bed “good night bug, sweet dreams” you say giving him a kiss on the forehead then heading back to the living room you see that Avery has moved to sit next to Capri, you decide to lean on the wall and just watch them for a minute “capi?” Avery says looking up at Capri “yes?” Capri says looking down at the small girl “you stay so me see you in morning? Pwease” Avery asks “Of course I’ll stay” Capri says with a smile her heart absolutely melting at how adorable this is, you decide to make your presence known “psst, sweet pea” you say motioning her to come to you, she comes over to you and you squat down to her level “are we doing story time tonight?” You ask “yes pwease” she says with a nod followed by a small yawn “do you want to do it on the couch or your room?” You ask “couch, me want capi too” she says excitedly “ok go pick a book and bring it to the couch” you say with a smile, standing up and moving out of her way so she can go in her room “so…are you spending the night?” You ask sitting next to Capri “is that ok?” Capri says looking up at you “of course it’s ok” you say leaning in for a kiss “oh thank goodness because Avery already asked and I said yes” Capri said with a small giggle then connected your lips to hers, it’s a short but sweet kiss. You both pull away a few short seconds after Avery enters the living room with a small book “stowy time” the little girl says as she sits in your lap while also leaning her head on Capri. You read the book and about 5 pages in Avery had fallen asleep “psst, y/n” capri said interrupting you reading “yeah?” “She’s asleep” Capri says and you look down to see an adorable sleeping girl “alright sweet pea, let’s get you in your bed” you said scooping up the small girl and taking her to her room, you come back to see Capri in the kitchen cleaning up, you come up behind her and wrap your arms around her waist “hi baby” you whisper “oh shit y/n you scared me” Capri says a little startled “oh I’m sorry” you say pressing a gentle kiss on her neck “mmm” Capri hums in content, “we can clean in the morning baby, let’s just go in my room and cuddle please” you say then kiss her shoulder “hmm ok babe let’s go” she says turning to face you then giving you a quick kiss, you hold her hand and pull her into your room, you both plop on your bed “do you want to change or are your clothes ok? Kakashi: *arrives* Sorry, I'm late. Oh, that smells good!

Naruto: Kakashi-sensei! I really thought you're not coming. You did not respond to my letter!

Kakashi: Oh. I thought it's understood that all of us will come.

Sasuke: That's what I was telling Sakura the other day. The RSVP was so unnecessary.

Naruto: Hey, it's not! See? We were able to prepare enough food because of that.

"Sasuke! You're missing out a lot! If I were you I'd be back in the village in a heartbeat to celebrate with me and Sakura-chan. There's so much food here!!"

"I bet it's dark and gloomy there. The weather here is nice, Sasuke. You should come back to see the fireworks with your team."

"Teme, come back! Don't be stubborn!! Even the fireworks think you're stubborn!"

prpr adult Adrien and Mari are roommates (also of course secretly in love with each other duh) and having trouble getting along so they see a couple's therapist (because they're not a couple yes, but Alya signed them up so that's not a big deal right?).

The couple's therapist gives them an assignment to not touch each other, and yes this includes no hugging.

Naturally, this leads to quite a bit of frustration and sadness.

I don't have much of this written out because whenever I try to write as a therapist my first desire is to be accurate and then I get hung up about work sdkjghdf but here's a snippet

“So, to summarize; you two have been having challenges in your relationship.”

Marinette leans forward and hurriedly corrects, “No, no. Not a relationship. We’re just—just roommates.”

“Roommates,” Dr. Farraz confirms, peering over the edge of their glasses. Their eyes dart Marinette to Adrien in an attempt to discover the whole truth. 

Adrien tries his darndest to not sound put out when he repeats, “Yeah. Roommates.”

Well it’s not like he could say they’ve been having challenges living together after a lifetime of fighting crime as superheroes and unrequited love.

So yeah. Roommates. 

Their therapist, who was heavily endorsed by Nino and Alya, closes the notebook they’d been scribbling all manner of fun little details about why he and Marinette are a mess. Adrien tries to peek into its secrets in a vain attempt to see if he could find something to help him deal with her, but no dice.

Dr. Farraz glances at him knowingly. “Well, by trade I am a relationship therapist. But, every relationship is a relationship. Why don’t we call this your…partnership.”

Keith was annoyed. He wanted to go riding. By himself-fast. He needed his private weekly jaunts, where he raced his bike over miles and miles of highway into the desert. No destination. No obeying the speed limit. No fucking helmet. Just sharp turns, wind in his face and the feeling of freedom, hell it was not simply needed but necessary. Vital. It helped clear his head and ensured that he was able to get through each week with no fights, well no physical fights, at least. So he was more than annoyed, he was pissed.

And for the times when his week was really shit? Like this week, when he failed a major exam, lost hours at the garage due to a power outage and discovered James was a member of his gym, well, he needed a little more. So after a week like this, he typically visited his old property where a dirt bike stashed in a shed to get a little more adventurous. If he was honest, he had been looking forward to this night since as early as Wednesday. But nooooo. Shiro decided to impress his new boy toy and volunteered Keith as an offering. He SO owed him!

Sighing he looked up at Shiro who was staring lovingly at his phone. Dude. How the mighty have fallen. But since it was Shiro he didn’t say anything and instead, he was standing on the side of the highway in some diner’s parking lot with a spare helmet.

“They are almost here!! Keith, I really need you to be, well, the best version of yourself tonight. You know I love you, but, this is Matt and his baby sister. And, no don’t give me that look! She’s been bullied in the past and Matt’s really protective of her. You can understand. So, if you…you...know act badly, that will really mess this up for me. So, I’m asking you to please be on your best behavior. Please. Be patient and kind.”

Keith rolls his eyes, “Whatever, I’m here aren’t I?”

“Keith! I’m just-“ Shiro pauses and grins, “I hear his car.”

Keith laughs, “Hear? Dude it’s an electric car you aren’t hearing anything! But yeah, the headlights give it away. So where are we headed again?”

“There’s an overlook about 20 miles down this highway. Stop there. Both of them are really into space like us, so GUESS WHO is seeing the meteor shower tonight?”

Keith sighed as the car’s interior lights glowed as the door swung open. Well at least there was something in it for him. He actually forgot the meteor shower was tonight after the shit week he had. He squinted as the two Holt siblings got out of the car. Hmmm, his Holt was probably the short one. Hell, how old was she? She looked like a kid. But at least she had pants on and a jacket. Suitable riding gear. Small wins.

“Fuck off Matt, I told you that I had plans! I don’t need to third wheel your dates.”

Keith blinked as she came closer. Okay, maybe not a kid after all.

He heard Matt retort, “Playing video games and eating junk food does NOT qualify as plans dear sis.”

Just then, Keith got his first look at her as she walked into the halo of light from the diner’s parking lot sign. His heart stuttered, he knew her! Or well he’s seen her. She was in engineering classes, top of the class. Frowning he tried to remember what was said about her. Hmmm, he thought her name was Pidge? Pidge Holt? Or not, he thought Shiro mentioned a Katie. IF it was was the same girl, though, the word genius fit. Mouthy. Sarcastic. Hell, she had the nerve to walk up to the board and correct a professor. Everyone was talking about it. He smirked.

Hell, it was big if he heard about it! It was epic. But he really liked the attitude. Then just as she stepped up to where Shiro and him were standing, all thought stalled. No one mentioned she was so cute. Blinking, his eyes snapped up to Shiro’s gleeful gaze. Well hell. Maybe, just maybe he wasn’t too mad. Maybe, just maybe this night will be better than he thought!

StarWars-ified Painting Edits!

So, my mom has a friend who makes a living selling paintings. One of the styles she does are fast-done, simple paintings of landscapes that she can make a lot of, and sell for very affordable prices.

My mom bought a few after asking if she minded if "her daughter made them Star Wars themed by adding stuff to them" and the artist was thrilled about it.

So, anyhow, here's the two paintings my mom came home with, that I finally got around to adding Star Wars details to:

I didn't do much to this one, it was already so pretty and I didn't want to make the changes obvious. So some bantha, a sandcrawler, and two suns + the text "Tatooine" in Aurebesh. I added yellow highlights to all the plantlife to bring out the glare of hte sun and give a bit more detail to the flora, and match with how highlighted the additions I added in are.

OKAY. LET ME START BY SAYING. *THIS* ABOVE PHOTO IS THE MOST ACCURATE. (It is also my favorite of the two)

Like, wow, this painting changes colors when you move it or put it in different lighting, and my camera HATED trying to take a photo of it.

On the plus side, the warmer-tones the camera gives really highlights the scene in the skies and the detail on the AT-AT.
