Welcome to MitsukiKomoriX191’s Bakery Event! This will be my first original event. You may order a cake or pie and some add-ons with toppings, all of your choice! This event was heavily inspired by @lyranova and @acacia-may

The Rules:

You will be able to choose one type of relationship for me to write, romantic, family, and platonic

You can choose up to two types (Fluff, angst, etc.)

Lastly, you will choose either a topping (trope) or an add-on (prompt). You can choose up to three prompts at a time, or you may choose up to two tropes and one prompts or whatever combination as long as it doesn’t go higher than three.

An order should look something like this… “Can I get a vanilla cake and a muffin with frosting, sprinkles, and cookies for Magna x Luck?” With maybe a brief little description of the specifics. I wouldn’t want to write something that you didn’t want.

“James Fleamont Potter,” Regulus yells. He didn’t intend for it to be a yell, but his nerves got the best of him. “I want to declare my intentions for you!” He thrusts forward a bouquet of flowers. James’ eyebrows furrow as he tentatively reaches for them

It’s a sunny winter day, crisp and cold, but made bearable by the way sunlight crashes down on them. James looks radiant, Regulus thinks. Then again, he always thinks James looks radiant.

“You wanna do what to me?” James asks, bringing the flowers up to his nose, sniffing.

Regulus doesn’t know what to do with his hands now that he’s no longer holding something. He ends up tucking them behind his back, so James can’t see him fidgeting.

Regulus takes a deep breath. “I want to court you.”

“Court? Like date?”

The words bring a flush to Regulus’ cheeks. Date. He could date James Potter. Be his boyfriend, if things go well. Merlin, he hopes things go well.

“Yes.”

“Why didn’t you just say that?”

“Because that’s not how it’s done. Pure Blood Tradition mandates that I declare my intentions, speak with your father, call at your house and then have the honor of escorting you to a planned activity or event outside the home that might please you,” Regulus rattles off.

He’d practiced for weeks. In front of the mirror, under his breath during breakfast, on his way to classes. Barty and Evan had teased him relentlessly, but Pandora had told him it was sweet. Had offered pointers, even.

“Yeah? You gonna wine and dine me, Regulus?”

A cluster of students passes by them. Some cast glances their way, but most don’t pay them any mind, simply heading back to the castle.

“I can take you to dinner, if you’d like that, yes.” Regulus straightens, squaring his shoulders. He hopes he’s exuding confidence. He needs to show James he is capable and dependable and a good match. James, who always takes care of others, deserves someone who takes care of him too. Regulus wants it to be him.

“It’s a date.” There’s a bright smile on James’ face, but he tries to hide it behind the flowers. Tucks his chin closer to his chest, buries his nose in the bouquet.

“So you mean—”

“Yes, I accept your intentions to court me.”

Thinking about Elizabeth Woodville as a gothic heroine is making me go insane. She entered the story by overturning existing social structures, provoking both ire and fascination. She married into a dynasty doomed to eat itself alive. She was repeatedly associated with the supernatural, both in terms of love and death. Her life was shaped entirely by uncanny repetitions - two marriages, two widowhoods, two depositions, two flights to sanctuary, two ultimate reclamations, all paralleling and ricocheting off each other. Her plight after 1483 exposed the true rot at the heart of the monarchy - the trappings of royalty pulled away to reveal nothing, a never-ending cycle of betrayal and war, the price of power being the (literal) blood of children. She lived past the end of her family name, she lived past the end of her myth. She ended her life in a deeply anomalous position, half-in and half-out of royal society. She was both a haunting tragedy and the ultimate survivor who was finally free.

That's...A Lot.#Imho Elizabeth was THE adaptor of the Wars of the Roses - she repeatedly found herself in highly anomalous and #unprecedented situations and just had to survive and adjust every single time #But that's just...never talked about when it comes to her #There are so many aspects of her life that are potentially fascinating yet completely unexplored in scholarship or media:#Her official appointment in royal councils; her position as the first Englishwoman post the Norman Conquest to be crowned queen #and what that actually MEANT for her; an actual examination of the propaganda against her; how she both foreshadowed and set a precedent #for Henry VIII's english queens; etc #There hasn't even been a proper reassessment of her role in 1483-85 TILL DATE despite it being one of the most wildly contested #periods in medieval England #lol I guess that's what drew me to Elizabeth in the first place - there's a fundamental lack of interest or acknowledgement in what was #actually happening with her and how it may have affected her. There's SO MUCH we can talk about but historians have repeatedly #stuck to the basics - and even then not well #I guess I have more things to write about on this blog then ((assuming I ever ever find the energy)#also to be clear while the Yorkists did 'eat themselves alive' they also Won - the crisis of 1483-85 was an internal conflict within #the dynasty that was not related to the events that ended in 1471 (which resulted in Edward IV's victory)#Henry Tudor was a figurehead for Edwardian Yorkists who specifically raised him as a claimant and were the ones who supported him #specifically as the husband of Elizabeth of York (swearing him as king only after he publicly swore to marry her)#Richard's defeat at Bosworth had *nothing* to do with 'York VS Lancaster' - it was the victory of one Yorkist faction against another #But yes the traditional line of succession was broken by Richard's betrayal and the male dynastic line was ultimately extinguished.

When the interviewer asked when we should expect s5 to be coming out, that’s when Shawn mentioned that a little bit of an answer to that might be out there soon.

He actually mentions that this answer could be out by the time the video for this interview comes out, and since this interview was filmed mid-May and it’s now mid-June, I’m assuming we could be getting something soon or within the next couple months, potentially about a release date aka possibly a small teaser with 2025 stamped at the end…

Trans-Kirito story-idea

After the SAO beta-test, Suguha "borrows" (read, follows her god-given right to be an annoying little sister) Kirito's NervGear.

As Suguha very much doesn't want to run around "as a boy" (yuck), she redoes the body-scan.

Kirito is very much not amused by Suguha stealing his shit, and takes it back. Kirito checks that nothing is actually broken (it works just fine), but doesn't think about "resetting" the body-scan.

The in-game avatar isn't changed (Kirito picks "male"), and Suguha the preteen and Kirito before his growth-spurt have very similar body-types), so any "this feels a bit odd to get used to"-feelings are attributed to Kirito lying about his height.

SAO starts, and Kirito is having zero issues with his avatar.

SAO becomes a death-game and Kayaba makes the mirror-item happen.

The mirror-item uses the recorded body-scan to create the avatar (and a video-feed for recording faces and facial-expressions).

So Kirito now has the body of a preteen girl, and the face of a very cute boy.

Let the chaos begin.
