Sunday! September 10th! Oaks Amusement Park!

We are vending with 40+ other witches and pagan folks. Check out our books, zines, buttons, and even some crafts and herbs from the Spiral House Garden. Then ride a rollercoaster or eat some cotton candy or a funnel cake. There's are workshops and a community ritual too.

So, are folk witch covens a thing? Really I just mean, offline small social circles of folk witches. I know they have to be, but I can’t even find any covens in my city - much less a folk magic centered one. Nor any pagan communities outside of CUUPs. I must be looking in the wrong places.

I have been trying to take time, even if it's a little amount, to connect more to the gods. I don't really have an elaborate alter, nor am I good about doing rituals in their honor. Recently, thanks to encouragement from my love, I chose to doodle something that would be in honor of a god. Living along the coast always draws me to Njörðr and so I chose to look up a rune that is associated with him. The first rune I found was Laguz. After reading about both deity and rune, I chose to doodle ocean waves at sunset and laguz over it. This is a post more for myself and my simple digital offering to Njörðr but hopefully, everyone can appreciate it.

My most known work, and a compulsory reading in many schools.

Bolyongó (Wanderer)

The story of 19-year-old Norbert, a somewhat modern viking, a follower of Germanic neopagan faith, and an outsider in his town and in school. While trying to finish his studies, he falls in love with an atheist girl, who helps him overcome his demons emerging from his childhood.

The Hungarian IBBY student jury’s choice as best young adult book in 2019. Read an excerpt in English here (pages 12-15).

Helena-trilógia (Helena trilogy)

A fantasy romance set in Oregon, USA about an 18-year-old orphan living by the rules of a menacing monster within her, as she meets three siblings with healing powers, one of whom she falls in love with. She discovers her suppressed powers given to her by Mother Nature, and fights for survival in the time of the climate crisis and human destruction of nature.

I don't know of any mailing lists (aside from the one they use to contact merchants), but they have a website & a Facebook page.
