BB-8 bullies Poe into taking him to you, pretty much the only person on the base that Poe can't get along with but he does it because he loves his droid, as the annoying little too happy beeps keep reminding him between hard bumps into his legs when he tries to drag this on.

Finally reaching your office/workshop/quarters, Poe is met with something unexpected instead of the usual animosity.

"Hey, there pretty boy," you exclaim happily with a genuine smile that commander Dameron has never been on the receiving end. Ever.

Although he quickly realises you spoke to his droid, it doesn't help with the awfully fluttery feeling that just doesn't want to go away even after your usual bickering occurred and you have parted ways for hours.

That night he dreams of you for the first time...

just realised i have a lot of drafts so here we go acrylic markers and lots of fun. these two (and a few others, i'll probably post them later) have been lying on my table since last summer :_) i didn't want to post them for a very long time cause they never looked as good as in real life (for example they look kinda grainy in photos, although in real life it doesn't stand out so much) and i'm too lazy to try to fix it in photoshop. so you know what? let it be so.
